Frederick Taylor's "scientific management " was all the rage when fascism and totalitarianism was on the rise in the 1920s–30s. It sounded good — people with pertinent knowledge and skills would occupy positions in logically designed organizations in which those qualities would be optimally employed.
In practice, the most common quality of scientifically managed firms was intense dissatisfaction among their workers. That's mostly because, in reality, people's family, political connections, and willingness to "play ball" with the powerful and wealthy overshadowed everything else when it came to filling positions. That's why the purest expressions of scientific management — communist countries — failed and continue to fail so spectacularly on all metrics of popular well-being and welfare.
America's founders recognized that human nature predisposed people to abuse power to serve their own interests, and designed checks and balances into our government to make such abuse difficult. In the 233 years since we ratified the Constitution, those interested in subverting it have made substantial progress.
In communist societies, people in power act to preserve their best interest and the interests those closest to them, which screws everybody else and gives rise to a bifurcated society of "haves" and "have-nots." This happens every time socialism/communism is implemented — without exception . It ultimately led to the deaths of over 100 million people in the 20th century alone. We're seeing the same trends in our country simply because power-holders here have surreptitiously implemented some of the defining characteristics of those collective societies.
The purest form of this in the West today is the U.S. federal government. The higher the position, the more its occupant got there as a result of enabling his superiors, benefactors, and family to siphon off as much as they could from the public till. war effort ," even if that something was completely outside the range of authority of the bureaucrat who thought it up? That's how it was done then and how it's still done today — just like the "temporary expedient" of employer tax withholding, which brings home the bacon and, therefore, has been with us ever since. Someone publicly unaccountable decides unilaterally what ought to be done and bakes it into a regulation, which puts the force of "law" behind it. Except that no legislature was involved, and therefore, the public interest was not a prominent concern.
Our Constitution places the sole authority to enact such requirements with the Congress. Legislation begins in the House of Representatives, by design, because that body most closely reflects the populace. Decades ago, cowardly and corrupt, but elected, legislators decided that they'd have a much easier time getting re-elected if they delegated tough decisions to regulatory bodies . That way they could deflect responsibility from themselves for unpopular outcomes, commiserate with those who elected them about how unresponsive and ill advised a particular regulation or agency was, and promise to look into it. Naturally, the latter happens rarely and always ineffectively. Impeding them would defeat the entire purpose of creating regulatory agencies in the first place.
With the last five years' worth of blatant "in your face" middle-fingers from the government to the American people, the country is finally — finally — approaching a point where it will reform the government. There is absolutely no chance of that happening from within the government — it is simply too corrupt and too powerful. The squeals about reform you're hearing from government apparatchiks like CDC director Walensky need to be seen as the political theater they are, and that is all they are — kabuki intended to tone down popular resentment over gross power abuse but without changing anything that matters one whit. If the government is going to change, We the People are going to have to change it.
Get it through your head: nobody high up in any government bureaucracy has any intention of altering government for the benefit of the average American. Nobody. They've grown so wealthy, so entitled, and so full of hubris that they believe they are uniquely suited to determine what is in the interest of the "Greater Good." They believe they should be able to constrain all of the pivotal decisions in everyone's life. They are the few who ought to determine the substrate in which everyone else exists, and thereby curtail their options to those few that are acceptable to Those Who Know Best. That is the goal toward which they have been and are working.
On the other hand, look at it from their perspective. They've been double-dealing the public for over 50 years and been wildly successful. Where else can someone without any perceptible talent or skill spend decades doing virtually nothing for a $100K+ annual salary, and leave that position a mega-multi-millionaire? That is one of the most common stories among our legislative class. They like to call themselves "public servants" and "guardians of democracy." If only there were a kernel of truth to either term.
Do you know when Congress last passed a budget? (Jeopardy music here...) It was 2009. The nation has been living on continuing resolutions ever since. Why is that the case? Fundamentally, it's because the public has let it be so. There are many adjectives for a group of people who'd let such a situation persist as long as Americans have; none of them is flattering.
Of course, we also see hard evidence of our election results having been altered and do nothing. We see people stuffing ballot boxes, entering phony ballots, violating laws left and right — and still do nothing. It's hard to muster sympathy for people who consistently fail to do anything to stop such obvious and widespread corruption. We've got a serious, perhaps life-threatening, problem and do nothing about it.
When a pet gets a parasitic infection, it exhibits symptoms that prompt you to treat that infection. There's discomfort involved all around, but the infection is resolved when the parasites are gone, and your pet's health improves noticeably. Well, we've got a national parasitic infection. In fact, we've got an entire class of people who satisfy the definition of being a parasite : "someone or something that resembles a biological parasite in living off of, being dependent on, or exploiting another while giving little or nothing in return." Those so often know as "The Elite ," "The Ruling Class ," "The Anointed " have, in plain fact, become our very own Parasite Class.
One thing is certain about serious parasitic infections: if they're not treated, the host eventually dies.

The DoJ's Brazen Corruption
The ideal of justice is a blindfolded woman poised and still and holding slowly balancing scales. At the Department of Justice over the last several years, the practice of justice is more like an inflatable flailing tube man .
In the lead-up to the 2016 election, everyone thought that department prosecutors would decide whether to charge Hillary Clinton based on whether she knowingly violated a criminal statute prohibiting mishandling of classified material. It turned out that then-FBI Director James Comey would decide on the basis of what he thought was “reasonable.” After letting Clinton off, the tube man flailed right and Comey, breaking procedure against commenting on a pending investigation, announced that the Clinton probe was back on.
From then, the Justice Department only got worse. Comey told the country that one reason not to charge Clinton was that the department had never before charged someone for conduct similar to hers. Yet after Comey, the department went on to spend years investigating the then-sitting President not only for conduct never before charged but for crimes no one even knew were crimes -- like bad tweeting. A dusty old law chiefly prohibiting cheating the federal government out of money would be stapled to President Trump’s tweets and taped to an obstruction-of-justice charge and then the President was going to be marched off to prison for conspiracy to steal an election -- or so the department led the country’s credulous Left to believe for years.
Gone are the days of Comey’s somewhat evenhanded blundering. The flailing man’s hands are now in an unmistakable search for the necks of its political opponents. Consider the unruly Capitol protest following the 2020 election. For the protesters, the department has dusted off the charge of “seditious conspiracy.”
The last time the department charged seditious conspiracy, in 2010, it went after a group of Christian nationalists. The charge got thrown out of court. The last time the department made the charge stick was about thirty years ago -- against Islamic terrorists who plotted to blow up the FBI and United Nations headquarters. In that case, seditious conspiracy was icing atop an already well-baked cake of indisputable crime. But for the Capitol protesters, the charge is the essential ingredient with which the department hopes to turn a protest into Pearl Harbor . Without seditious conspiracy, all the Department can serve its political masters for desert are uncoordinated offenses against the public peace, mostly misdemeanors like trespass, in a protest otherwise well within the guarantee of the First Amendment.
Offenses against the public peace hardly moved the department when leftists tormented hundreds of cities and towns across America in the lead-up to the 2020 election. They killed many, assaulted thousands of policemen, and caused billions in damages. For them, the department took a break from its legal MacGyverism. Although groups of leftists organizing online sought “to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of... law[s] of the United States,” none faced charges for seditious conspiracy -- even after attacking federal courthouses , ICE facilities , and even the White House itself .
For the worst of the leftist rioters, department prosecutors played the role of defense lawyers. They pleaded with a federal judge to go easy on one Montez Terriel Lee, Jr., who burned a man to death in a Minnesota business he set on fire because -- and this is a quote from the department’s actual brief -- Mr. Lee, a five-time convict, “credibly state[ed] that he was in the streets to protest unlawful police violence against black men, and there is no basis to disbelieve” him. The brief even urged the judge to see that “a riot is the language of the unheard,” profanely quoting the revered apostle of non-violence, Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.
For Lee, the tube man flailed so far left it became a windsock in a gale and snapped.
Federal sentencing guidelines called for Lee to get 20 years in prison. The department wanted him to get no more than 12. For Guy Wesley Reffitt, a Capitol protester who had no serious criminal past, hurt no one, and never even entered the Capitol building, guidelines call for about 10 years. The department wants to stick him with 15.
For Reffitt, in the department’s view, a riot is not the “language of the unheard” but an “attack on our democracy” -- by which the Department means Lee’s democracy and not Reffitt’s. In the democracy the department cares to protect, whether Reffitt sincerely believed that he was the one defending American democracy from an unlawful attack isn’t worth even a moment’s note because Reffitt backed the wrong guy -- and nothing is worse than that. Not even murder.
Since President Trump’s election, the animating principle of the Justice Department has boiled down to one rule: “get him .” Reffitt’s is just another body the Department plans to climb over to reach Trump -- whom it wants to charge as the ringleader of a popular paroxysm that it helped to stoke by its own corruption but which it tries to dress up as the brainchild of the one man it most hates. And Lee, the Minnesota rioter, is just another soldier granted pardon for his service in the Left’s anti-Trump politics.
The Justice Department is unlikely ever to reform itself. It is fast racking up taxpayer bills approaching 100 million dollars going after Trump and his supporters while spending but virtual pennies to put leftist rioters in jail. Its problem is its people. Department lawyers like Jeffrey S. Nestler in Reffitt’s case and Thomas Calhoun-Lopez in Lee’s are model and longstanding Department employees. That’s the problem.
The task of reforming the department will fall to a Republican Party doing its voters’ will -- and perhaps also to a reelected President Trump himself. For no matter how brazen the department’s corruptions become, there will never be enough space in jail for the over 74 million Americans who, in 2020, voted for President Trump’s reelection despite the most strenuous efforts of his most committed enemies.

That promise didn’t preclude him from taking thousands from corporate-funded groups.
"I don’t take any corporate PAC money," Franken said in June. "Not a penny." But that same month, the Iowa Democrat received $5,000 from Sen. Tim Kaine’s (D., Va.) Common Ground PAC, which accepted donations from Pfizer, Capital One, and Amazon. Franken took $2,500 from Sen. Mark Kelly’s (D., Ariz.) Liftoff PAC, which is funded by the National Association of Realtors, and another $2,500 from Sen. Tina Smith’s (D., Minn.) Velvet Hammer PAC, which boasts contributions from Wells Fargo, Delta Air Lines, and Goldman Sachs.
The donations could spell trouble for the Senate candidate, who has decried "corporate greed" and accused incumbent Sen. Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa) of being beholden to "corporate donors."
The Senate candidate also took $2,500 from disgraced former Democratic senator Al Franken’s Midwest Values PAC. The ex-comedian resigned in 2018 following accusations of sexual harassment, but said last year he is open to running again for office. His PAC raised hundreds of thousands of dollars even after his departure.
A Franken campaign spokesman said the candidate "has never taken a dime from corporate PACs." He did not comment on any other corporate donations.
Franken, a retired Navy vice admiral, came under fire in July when he said he "did not serve" to defend the rights of people who criticize President Joe Biden. He is the third Iowa Democrat to skirt a self-imposed corporate PAC donation ban after Rep. Cindy Axne and Abby Finkenauer , whom Franken bested during the Senate primary.
Finkenauer lost by 15 points in June during the Democratic primary to Franken, who was defeated in 2020 by failed Democratic Senate candidate Theresa Greenfield. Sen. Joni Ernst (R., Iowa) beat Greenfield in the general election by 6 points, though the Democrat raised twice as much money for her campaign.
Franken raked in $1.7 million during the last fundraising period, outraising Grassley by more than two to one. The Republican still holds more cash in hand, and won his last election by a nearly 25-point margin.
Grassley campaign manager Matt Dailer told the Washington Free Beacon that Franken should either return the donations or "admit his pledge was nothing more than a hollow stunt."
"Mike Franken hasn't even been elected to office and he's already breaking his word to Iowans," Dailer said. "He can make up any excuse he wants, but Iowans see through his dishonest word games."

There is nothing unexpected about the emerging right-wing, pro-war, pro-Wall Street composition of the incoming Biden administration. Biden himself spent decades in Washington as a corrupt bag-man for wealthy interests in the state of Delaware, the legal headquarters of hundreds of thousands of corporations that take advantage of its business-friendly laws.

Consumers’ Research, an organization dedicated to educating American consumers, warned that BlackRock is “crushing America from within,” releasing a nationally televised advertisement, issuing a consumer warning, and notifying 12 governors of the dangers posed by the firm.
Consumers’ Research’s campaign includes a television advertisement blasting BlackRock and CEO Larry Fink, asserting that they contributed to soaring gas and housing prices, explaining that “BlackRock owned companies are snatching up houses, crippling families.”
The ad also exposes a pertinent connection between the multinational and the Biden administration, noting that “BlackRock’s former ESG czar Brian Deese is Biden’s economic advisor.”
Consumers’ Research also published a consumer warning that accuses BlackRock of “crushing America from within.” The consumer warning states that BlackRock, which manages nearly $10 trillion , “uses its clout to push a radical agenda in coordination with other financiers through a network of international organizations.”
It goes on to state that the firm, led by CEO and Chairman Larry Fink, adversely impacts the American economy and possibly even violates their fiduciary duty by furthering an ideological agenda and “putting your retirement at risk in the name of progressive politics.”
The consumer warning explains that BlackRock utilizes a “progressive coercion vehicle known as ESG, or Environmental, Social, and Governance, which applies highly subjective and ambiguous criteria to measure how closely companies are falling in line with the radical progressive agenda.”
The seven page document notes that the multinational firm has advanced a climate agenda that has resulted in “higher energy costs, inflation, weakened energy infrastructure, the dismantling of fossil fuel companies, loss of (primarily blue-collar) jobs, and weaker national security.”
It also points out that BlackRock has led an effort to get leftist activist investors on the board of Exxon in order to divest from multiple projects, allowing Chinese gas companies to fill in the gap. Meanwhile, BlackRock has invested in PetroChina, despite allegations that the company uses forced labor, land confiscation, arrest, and intimidation.
The consumer warning points out that CEO Larry Fink said during a panel with the New York Times that “behaviors are going to have to change … You have to force behaviors, and at BlackRock, we are forcing behaviors.”
Consumers’ Research continued to document a list of BlackRock’s abuses before issuing guidance to consumers. The organization called on consumers to ensure that they are not using BlackRock’s services, such as the iShares fund brand, when they invest.
Consumers’ Research also suggested that employees contact their human resources department to inquire if their retirement funds are managed by BlackRock and that those with state or municipal pensions “contact state officials to find out if any portion of their pension fund is managed by BlackRock.”
Executive director of Consumers’ Research Will Hild contended in a statement that BlackRock and liberal elites like Fink are “using money that doesn’t belong to them to push an extreme agenda with no regard for American families who are paying the price not only now, but through their pension funds which are being weaponized to the detriment of their potential profits.”
He added that BlackRock’s ideologically motivated investing is “leading to higher costs everywhere from gas pumps and groceries to rent prices and housing costs.”
Consumers’ Research recently created a site called AboutBlackRock , which calls the multinational the “architect of woke capitalism” and features their consumer warnings.
In addition to their consumer warning, Consumers’ Research also sent a letter to the governors of Texas, Montana, Utah, Colorado, South Carolina, Idaho, Alaska, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arizona, Nevada, and Wyoming notifying them of the consumer warning.
The letter notes that these states are “experiencing inflation in the top quintile nationally,” going on to explain that firms like BlackRock are “using your state’s investment dollars against its interests. They are leveraging the voting power of the shares they’ve purchased for clients to hamper American production and competitiveness.”
The letter continued, remarking that “As a result, gas prices are surging, the cost of purchasing or renting homes is near record levels, and common grocery store goods are up more than 10 percent in the last year. This is largely due to firms like BlackRock pushing policies that are politically driven with no regard for the impact to the citizens of your state.”
Meanwhile, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink blamed inflation on the rise of nationalism, immigration restriction, and “a belief that we have to focus on communities that have been devastated by globalization” in an interview with Bloomberg.
“The net effect of their hypocrisy is to place corporations in your state at a significant disadvantage when competing globally for capital and customers. BlackRock’s actions undermine national security,” the letter reads. It even noted that the multinational firm has invested in corporations that “develop equipment for the Chinese military.”
Consumers’ Research previously documented BlackRock’s connection to the Chinese Communist Party.
The letter from Consumers’ Research follows a decision from 19 different attorney generals to send a letter to BlackRock CEO Larry Fink pertaining to the firm’s “reliance on Environmental, Social, and Governance investment criteria rather than shareholder profits in managing state pension funds,” which has been called “ potentially illegal .”
Meanwhile, executive director of Consumers’ Research Will Hild said in a statement that “ Fink’s ESG façade is one of the biggest rackets the world has seen.”

Consumers’ Research this week launched a national campaign to expose BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager with over $10 trillion in assets under management, and the deleterious effects the company has on the American people.
As part of this campaign, the consumer advocacy organization launched a national television ad, released a consumer warning cautioning against putting investment funds in BlackRock, sent a letter to many governors about BlackRock, and launched AboutBlackRock.com to explain further about the financial behemoth.
Will Hild, the executive director of Consumers’ Research, said in a statement this week that Americans should know if their money is going to further leftist goals that only lead to higher energy, housing, and other costs. Hild elaborated:
BlackRock is using money that doesn’t belong to them to push an extreme agenda with no regard for American families who are paying the price not only now, but through their pension funds which are being weaponized to the detriment of their potential profits. Consumers deserve to know where their investments are going, especially when it’s leading to higher costs everywhere from gas pumps and groceries to rent prices and housing costs. The Consumer Warning and the ad also detail how Brian Deese, President Joe Biden’s chair of the National Economic Council (NEC), also led BlackRock’s Global Head of Sustainable Investing. As Consumers’ Research put it, Deese helped advance BlackRock’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) agenda.
As documented by the Consumer Warning, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink has been a relentless advocate of pushing American companies to address alleged climate change. The chief executive of the world’s largest asset manager told the New York Times that “behaviors are going to have to change … You have to force behaviors, and at BlackRock, we are forcing behaviors.”
This climate change lobbying includes putting three “liberal activist investors” on the board of Exxon, which is now considering divesting from two of the largest gas recovery projects.
As part of its consumer warning, Consumers’ Research recommended:
Retail investors reconsider using BlackRock’s services, especially any passive investing funds such as the iShares fund brand and consider alternatives that do not abuse their fiduciary role. Employees should consider contacting their human resources department to see if BlackRock manages their company’s 401(k) accounts or pension fund. Individuals with state or municipal pensions should contact state officials to find out if any portion of their pension fund is managed by BlackRock. The Consumer Warning was sent to states whose economy has been most impacted by BlackRock, which includes Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, Wyoming, Montana, New Mexico, Idaho, Alaska, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas.

BlackRock has $10 trillion under management and holds great power with Biden's White House. It is a big pusher of the green agenda. The green agenda is destroying America with rampant inflation, especially the poor, the middle class, and small businesses, but BlackRock has done great.
Wall Street rises as economic
and financial problems mount
If one were to take the movement of stock prices on Wall Street as a guide, then the problems for the financial system and the broader economy arising from inflation and interest rate hikes by the US Fed and other central banks are on the wane.

Over the same period the broad-based S&P 500 index has risen by 17 percent while remaining down by 10 percent for the year. The Dow is also up from its June lows.
The rise in the market has been driven by the belief that inflation is starting to come down—official figures for July saw no increase, bringing the US annual rate of inflation down from 9.1 percent to 8.5 percent—and the Fed will start to ease off on its rate increases after two consecutive hikes of 75 basis points each.
The view is that if this does take place, then the orgy of profit-making based on cheap money will be able to resume.
But looking beyond Wall Street, it becomes clear that, far from being alleviated, problems in the financial system and the global economy are growing.
In the first instance, the Fed may pull back on the interest rate hikes at its meeting in September—the expectation is that there will be a rise of 50 basis points rather than 75. However, Fed officials have made it clear the central bank is far from finished in its drive to ensure that a wages movement by the working class in response to price hikes is suppressed.
The Fed’s program is part of an international strategy by the world’s central banks to drive down the living standards and social conditions of the working class in the name of “fighting inflation.” At this point, this social counter-revolution is most sharply expressed in the UK where the Bank of England has lifted interest rates with the aim of driving the economy into a recession to counter wage demands.
In an interview with the Financial Times last week, Mary Daly, president of the San Francisco Fed, indicated that 0.75 percentage point rise was not off the table in September, while her “baseline” was a 0.5 percentage point increase.
While there was some “good news” in the monthly data, inflation “remains far too high and not near our price stability goal.” It was too early to declare victory over inflation, she said, and “we’re not near done yet.”
Minneapolis Fed president Neel Kashkari has said he still anticipated the Fed would need to rate its base rate by another 1.5 percentage points by next year, lifting it to around 4.4 percent.
In an interview last week, St Louis Fed president James Bullard, regarded as one of the more hawkish members of the Fed’s governing body, pointed to the essential driving force of the rate increases. “We’ve got a long ways to go on the labour market,” he said.
Bullard was pointing to what is regarded as a “tight” labour market, saying there would need to be tangible and widespread evidence of disinflation occurring “before we can be really confident.” That evidence will be indications that even the limited wage increases, below the inflation rate, which workers have so far been able to secure, have ceased.
As prices in basic items continue to rise—grocery items, for example, are up by more than 13 percent—are clear signs of recessionary trends. US gross domestic product has been negative for each of the past two quarters, a situation sometimes described as a “technical recession” with indications the contraction is continuing.
On Monday, a New York Federal Reserve survey of manufacturers registered minus 31.3 for August compared to 11 the previous month. The forecast was for a reading of 5 and the slump in the so-called Empire State gauge was the second largest monthly fall on record.
Recession signs are also flashing in financial markets as so-called yield curve inversion—a situation in which the interest rate on short-term government debt is above that on 10-year Treasury bonds—persists. Over the past 50 years, this inversion, which is contrary to the normal situation, has been a reliable indicator of recession.
There are also clear warning signs of a marked slowdown in the world’s second largest economy, China.
On Monday, the People’s Bank of China (PBoC) unexpectedly cut its medium-term lending rate by 10 basis points in a bid to boost the economy amid signs of slowing consumer demand, lower industrial demand and a worsening housing and real estate market.
In the second quarter, the economy narrowly avoided a contraction, expanding by only 0.4 percent, and the problems appear to be worsening.
July data show that retail sales rose by only 2.7 percent for the year, compared to forecasts of a 5 percent rise, while industrial production was up by 3.8 percent, compared to the forecast of a 4.6 percent increase.
Chinese financial authorities have been reluctant to ease financial conditions because of concerns over rising debt. But Julian Evans-Pritchard, senior China economist with Capital Economics, told the FT that the PBoC seemed to have decided that it faced a more pressing problem.
“The latest data show lacklustre economic momentum in July and a slowdown in credit growth, which has been less responsive to policy easing than during previous economic downturns,” he said.
Real estate and housing, which account for more than a quarter of the Chinese economy when flow-on effects are considered, are at the centre of the slide in economic growth. This threatens to render the official target of 5.5 percent growth for this year—itself the lowest target in more than three decades—a dead letter.
Data released on Monday show that new home prices recorded their steepest year-on-year decline in more than six years in July.
In comments to the Wall Street Journal last week, Logan Wright, the director at Rhodium Group, a New York research firm that closely follows China, said: “We’ve never seen a property market slowdown of this size and severity.” There was little financial authorities could do to turn it around, he added.
There are significant financial effects. More than 30 property developers have now joined the real estate giant Evergrande in defaulting on their international debts.
The issue of debt defaults is by no means confined to China. The rise in interest rates internationally has created the conditions where a number of less developed countries will be unable to pay back loans.
Sri Lanka is already in this situation and others, including Kenya, Egypt, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, could follow. According to Leland Goss, general counsel at the International Capital Markets Association, borrowing in emerging markets, even before COVID hit, grew from $3.3 trillion, a quarter of economic output, to $5.6 trillion, around one third, in a decade.
Goss told the FT the prospect of “possibly systemic debt crisis” was real. “Creditors with exposures to not one, or a few, but many sovereign borrowers could have large aggregate exposures” with “potential systemic implications” if they were large financial institutions, he said.
A report issued at the end of last month revealed that emerging markets are already being hit by withdrawals of money. The Institute of International Finance reported that outflows from emerging markets in July were $10.5 billion, taking the total to $38 billion over the past five months—the longest period of outflows since records began in 2005.
The gyrations on Wall Street are driven by the shortest of short-term considerations. Interest rate rises by the Fed may ease somewhat and so the market goes up. But the longer-term implications of the rises so far have yet to take full effect. They will begin to impact when debt, taken out when interest rates were near zero, must be refinanced.
According to the rating agency Fitch, defaults on high-yield US debt could double this year to 1 percent and also double in Europe to 1.5 percent. Other estimates put the rate even higher, as much as 4 percent per year.

On Thursday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” John Ratcliffe, who served as Director of National Intelligence under former President Donald Trump, argued that the Biden administration is “one of the worst offenders” when it comes to ignoring warnings from FBI Director Christopher Wray about the threat of China and part of this is due to Biden getting advice from people who worked for BlackRock, an investment firm that he says “has been more collaborative and complicit with the Chinese Communist Party, soft on China than anyone.” And that unless the Biden administration approaches China with the right mindset, “China’s going to continue to be aggressive and to bully and to be more forthright and move, not just in the Indo-Pacific, but around the world.”
Ratcliffe stated, “It’s like when you look out the passenger side window of your car, you see the words, ‘Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear.’ And in this case, that’s China, and that’s what — the warning that Director Wray gave yesterday and that he’s been giving for years and that many of us have been giving. … China does intend to own the control points in the global marketplace and in geopolitics. They intend to dominate economically, technologically, militarily, and they are willing to spy and steal and lie and cheat their way to superiority. And the message yesterday was to businesses and universities that they need to get that. But one of the worst offenders, I think, as you pointed out, Bill, is the Biden administration. They are just — they’re not getting the message and they’re taking down many of the guardrails that were put up in place in the Trump administration to counter China’s aggression.”
He added, “[Y]ou have to look at who’s making the policy there. So, President Biden’s top economic adviser is Brian Deese . His top foreign policy adviser announced last week on China is Tom Donilon . Those are both BlackRock executives. BlackRock as an investment firm has been more collaborative and complicit with the Chinese Communist Party, soft on China than anyone. Those are the people that are making policy decisions…ending the DOJ China Initiative, and in response to China’s aggression just two weeks ago saying, Bill, that if we interfere with Taiwan, they will put us on a path to death and smash us to smithereens, the response from the Biden administration was, we need to consider easing tariffs. So, we’re sending the wrong message. The Biden administration from the beginning has gone back to this misconception that China is a strategic competitor. They are not. They are a lying, cheating, stealing competitor. They are a strategic adversary that intends to dominate us. And again, until that mindset takes hold in this administration, China’s going to continue to be aggressive and to bully and to be more forthright and move, not just in the Indo-Pacific, but around the world.”

Judicial watchdog JCN is targeting Attorney General Merrick Garland as part of a $10 million ad campaign against Democrats for stoking the flames of violence against Supreme Court justices.
The $1 million Garland ad, titled “Twelve Years,” is premised on the fact Garland and now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh were colleagues on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia.
Pointing out that Kavanaugh is being “harassed, threatened, even an armed assassin was after him” in the wake of the decision to overturn infamous pro-abortion case Roe v. Wade , the ad says Garland “could stop it, but doesn’t.”

The ad calls on Garland to “uphold the rule of law, protect his former colleagues, and the Court.”
“Instead,” it continues, “he’s cowering to the woke mob.”
“Twelve Years” will begin airing Thursday, 101 days after the leak of the opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization — the opinion that saw leftists react violently and attempt to intimidate members of the Court to change the opinion.
Groups like “Jane’s Revenge” and “Ruth Sent Us” have been on the forefront of trying to intimidate justices, aiding or staging protests outside their homes.
Garland, notably, has been silent on the protection of justices, forcing Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngking (R) and Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) to use their authorities to protect Supreme Court justices in their own homes.
The two governors wrote to Garland asking for adequate resources to protect the justices.
Youngking recently called out the Department of Justice for executing a raid on former President Donald Trump’s Florida home, while also criticizing it for labeling parents as “terrorists” and “fail[ing] to enforce federal law to protect Justices in their homes.”
“Merrick Garland has consistently bowed to the radical left’s agenda, whether it’s calling concerned parents ‘domestic terrorists’ or suing states for protecting the unborn,” JCN President Carrie Severino said in a statement. “What the Attorney General is clearly *not* doing is enforcing a federal law designed to protect judges at their homes, as mobs of protestors continue to harass six of the Court’s justices at their homes, even after the attempted assassination of Brett Kavanaugh.”
The “Twelve Years” ad is a $1 million ad buy in the Washington, DC, market as part of a $10 million total ad campaign — the same amount JCN spent on “several recent Supreme Court confirmation battles,” according to a press release.
The campaign seeks to “expose how Democrats are endangering the lives of Supreme Court justices.”

It’s amazing that Democrats who still care about their party still support the very people who have brought it down.
Attorney General Merrick Garland
Garland is the exception in this group. He has actual professional qualifications to be attorney general. He was a well-established U.S Circuit Court of Appeals judge in D.C. and has had a long career in the legal profession. Unlike all the other cabinet members, Garland’s education, experience, and expertise in his field are beyond question.
Unfortunately, his obvious qualifications make him the saddest, most pathetic political hack of a group of truly notable hacks. Garland can’t fall back on the “I didn’t know any better” or the “Well, it’s not my area” excuse. He does know better and it is his area. When he initiates a fraudulent, arbitrary prosecution against a former Trump associate or refuses to prosecute flagrant crimes against conservative Republicans, there can be no doubt that Garland is carrying out a one-sided, partisan legal strategy of the worst kind. He is so prejudiced and vengeful that he makes Eric Holder (known for being “Obama’s wingman”) and Loretta Lynch (she of the infamous Clinton runway meeting) look like Atticus Finch by comparison.
The fact that Merrick Garland is the only Biden cabinet member with any semblance of professional credentials and that he misuses those credentials in the extreme manner in which he does says everything one needs to know about this absolute embarrassment of a presidency.
Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) blasted the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for raiding former President Donald Trump’s home, but not the homes of former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
Trump revealed in a lengthy statement that FBI agents raided his Mar-a-Lago Florida residence on Monday.
“These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents,” Trump said. “Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before.”
The raid was reportedly focused on documents that Trump allegedly took with him from the White House to Mar-a-Lago.
Shortly after Trump confirmed the FBI raid, Blackburn criticized the FBI for raiding Trump’s home but not other former presidents who have allegedly violated federal law.
Blackburn noted that Clinton and former first lady Hillary Clinton took $28,000 worth of furniture from the White House after Clinton left office. She also pointed toward Obama’s alleged violation of the Presidential Records Act as cause for a potential FBI raid.
“Bill and Hillary Clinton took $28,000 worth of furnishings from the White House. Obama violated the Presidential Records Act,” Blackburn tweeted . “Why did the FBI not raid their houses?”
“This is a political witch hunt to take down President Trump,” the Tennessee senator concluded.
Trump also called out the FBI’s bias in raiding his home and not Hillary Clinton’s home in his statement.
“Hillary Clinton was allowed to delete and acid wash 33.000 E-mails AFTER they were subpoenaed by Congress. Absolutely nothing has happened to hold her accountable. She even took antique furniture, and other items from the White House,” Trump said . “I stood up to America’s bureaucratic corruption, I restored power to the people, and truly delivered for our Country, like we have never seen before. The establishment hated it.”

House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) promised on Monday to launch a full-throated investigation into Attorney General Merrick Garland and the FBI’s raid on former President Donald Trump’s home.
Trump announced in a statement that the FBI had raided Trump’s Florida home, Mar-A-Lago. In response to the raid, McCarthy said that Republicans will investigate every aspect of what led to the FBI raid against the former president.
McCarthy said:

The Department of Justice has reached an intolerable state of weaponized politicization.
When Republicans take back the House, we will conduct immediate oversight of this department, follow the facts, and leave no stone unturned.
Attorney General Garland, preserve your documents and clear your calendar.
Indeed, Republicans, should they take back the House during the 2022 congressional midterms, will gain the ability to launch subpoenas into the raid against the former president. The House Judiciary Committee and the House Oversight and Reform Committee can focus on the events and decision-making process that led to the search warrant against Trump.
The House Judiciary Republicans wrote, “This is what happens in third world countries. Not the United States. Doesn’t the FBI have better things to do than harass the former PRESIDENT?”
Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel wrote, “Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Countless times we have examples of Democrats flaunting the law and abusing power with no recourse, including Hunter Biden. Democrats continually weaponize the bureaucracy against Republicans. This raid is outrageous.”

The Department of Justice (DOJ) was reported this week to have begun a criminal investigation of former President Donald Trump in connection with his effort to contest the 2020 election.
Also this week, the DOJ was accused of having spiked its own investigation of President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, based on false clams that reports of his misconduct were just “disinformation.” And last week, the DOJ convinced a D.C. jury to convict Stephen K. Bannon, a Trump associate and former Breitbart News executive chairman, for contempt of Congress.
Notably, the DOJ declined to prosecute past left-wing offenders for the same crime — such as Lois Lerner, the former IRS official who targeted conservative groups; and former Attorney General Eric Holder, who refused to provide Congress with information about Operation Fast & Furious, a gunrunning fiasco that led to the murder of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.
And few at DOJ were punished for the “Russia collusion” hoax, a partisan operation that involved lying to the FISA court.
We are witnessing the transformation of the DOJ into an arm of the Democratic Party.
There have always been a few partisan prosecutors, but the political corruption began in earnest under President Barack Obama, who declined to prosecute members of the New Black Panther Party for voter intimidation; gave millions of dollars to left-wing groups from DOJ fines; and imposed DOJ consent decrees on police in Democrat-run cities to appease Black Lives Matter.
In 2016, the DOJ attempted to influence the presidential election in several ways — first, by declining to prosecute former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in open-and-shut cases of mishandling classified information; second, by investigating Trump for “Russia collusion”; and third, by trying to sanitize the anticipated Hillary Clinton presidency by reopening the inquiry into her emails — a move that backfired spectacularly.
The “Russia collusion” probe continued into the Trump era, fueling efforts to undo the results of a democratic election, and arguably denting Trump’s ability to conduct foreign policy.
Throughout the left-wing riots that gripped the country in 2020, the DOJ was remarkably passive. Attorney General William Barr directed law enforcement on the streets of D.C. as Black Lives Matter and Antifa attacked the White House, but FBI Director Christopher Wray led efforts to deny that Antifa was a threat, insisting it was an “ideology,” not an organization.
The DOJ seemed to shrug at the riots that raged in 48 out of 50 major U.S. cities. And it dithered for years after Hunter Biden’s influence-peddling came to light. The FBI did nothing about his laptop, which it seemed to have seized in 2019 to cover up the story rather than to follow up on evidence of corruption at the highest level.
But after the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, the DOJ prosecuted participants aggressively even for minor offenses, and detained non-violent suspects for months.
Now comes the news that Trump is being investigated by the DOJ in connection with January 6 — reportedly for “seditious conspiracy and conspiracy to obstruct a government proceeding” and “potential fraud associated with the false-electors scheme” or efforts to pressure officials to claim the election was fraudulent.
The timing of the news gave undue legitimacy to the January 6 Committee, a one-sided, arguably unlawful and unconstitutional show trial with obvious political motivations.
The DOJ inquiry is supposedly independent of the January 6 Committee, but there have already been reports that the DOJ has asked the Committee to hand over transcripts of witness depositions — given behind closed doors, and with few of the basic protections they would ordinarily have in a criminal inquiry.
In effect, the DOJ appears to have deputized the committee to carry out its own law enforcement functions — a violation of the Constitution’s separation of powers and the Bill of Rights.
After months of investigation, and more than 1,000 witnesses, the committee turned up nothing on Trump except the claim that he should have done more, or acted sooner, to stop the riot.
Trump did what many of the Democrats on the committee had done themselves: oppose the certification of electors from states where the results were controversial. He also organized a protest to influence a Congressional vote — an activity guaranteed by the protections of the First Amendment.
Notably, the DOJ is declining to prosecute the left-wing protesters who have besieged the homes of conservative Supreme Court justices in an effort to pressure them on the abortion issue — despite a specific federal law barring such protests as an exception to the First Amendment because they represent a threat to impartial justice and an independent judiciary.
The DOJ’s indulgence was followed by an attempt on the life of Justice Brett Kavanaugh by a leftist who, luckily, called 911 on himself.
Both President Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland promised to “depoliticize” the DOJ, referring to the bogus claims by Democrats that Trump “politicized” it because Barr would not break federal law and hand over grand jury materials to Democrats desperate to smear Trump.
It was Trump, actually, who depoliticized the DOJ — or tried to, though he ran into the resistance of careerists and holdovers who were willing to break the law in their effort to undermine his presidency.
Garland told NBC News that the DOJ would not hesitate to prosecute Trump even if he were a candidate for president in 2024. That is the right policy — though the DOJ did not apply it to Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden. Worse, it followed Hillary Clinton’s lead in smearing and spying on her opponent, and covered up legitimate questions about Biden’s conflicts of interest. To this day, the perpetrators of the “Russia collusion” hoax remain unpunished for what was, in effect, a silent coup attempt.
Now the DOJ is apparently trying to find a way to put Trump behind bars, and satisfy the Democrats’ lust for revenge for 2016. This is what happens in Third World countries.
I witnessed it happening in my native South Africa, where the ruling clique began using petty investigations to discredit the opposition and internal rivals. Today, South Africa is on the verge of being a failed state.
The political corruption of the DOJ is likewise undermining faith in the rule of law; it must be stopped.

A Corrupt and Rigged Government
A recent University of Chicago Institute of Politics poll showed that a majority of Americans think our government is corrupt and rigged against them. And almost a third of respondents also feel it may eventually be necessary to take up arms against the evil empire currently running the show.
Subtract from that poll the bleeding-heart libs who think feelings matter more than facts, and the numbers are scarier still.
Big Government, including their toadies in the mainstream media, has clearly blown its cover. And it appears, based on this poll, that the American people are mad as hell and not gonna take it anymore.
Why have so many lost faith in our government to the point that armed rebellion is being considered?
Double standards, that’s why. Americans see them and they’re rightfully furious.
They see the despicable treatment afforded President Trump, whose term in office surely seems like the good old days when compared to the turmoil Democrats have unleashed in just a year and a half at the helm.
They watched the press question Trump’s mental fitness and acuity while staunchly supporting the corrupt, dried-up turnip currently occupying the Oval Office.
They observed the media constantly demonizing Trump’s family and then totally supporting “Dr.” Jill and the hapless, hopeless Biden spawn.
They’ve seen every aspect of the Donald’s financial dealings examined with a fine-tooth comb, while the Big Guy (Hunter’s nickname for Crusty Joe) gets half of his crack and sex-addled son’s ill-gotten millions with impunity.
They’ve watched the FBI run multiple coups against both candidate and President Trump, while sitting on the treasure trove of Biden family criminality contained in Hunter’s laptop, which the Feebs have been “investigating” for two and a half years now.
They’ve observed how law enforcement looked the other way as BLMers peacefully rioted, taking lives, ruining businesses, and causing billions of dollars in damage -- all this while authorities pretend that January 6 was another Pearl Harbor, instead of a relatively small dustup where the crowd was rife with Feds, officers obligingly opened the doors to the Capitol, and the only person killed was an unarmed woman, shot to death with impunity by a cop.
They see criminals, perverts and drug dealers released without bail to continue their wicked ways while the Jan. 6th defendants rot in D.C. jails, their Constitutional rights suspended and their personal lives ruined.
They’ve watched in stunned silence as Democrats and the Deep State pulled every dirty trick in the book on President Trump, while the Republican members of the D.C. Uni-Party sat silent or, as in the case of Cheney and Kinzinger, eagerly concurred.
They’ve listened as Hollywood, the media, and academia all denigrated Trump’s burning desire to make America great again, at the same time supporting the notion that our country is a racist, sexist, xenophobic hellhole, and always has been.
They’ve undoubtedly noticed that Democrats, with the help of Big Tech and many millions of Zucker-bucks, made it incredibly easy to cheat in the last election; yet Trump has been portrayed as a psychopathic monster for pointing out that he was clearly jobbed out of a second term.
They watched President Trump fight the COVID-19 pandemic with all his might, even as wee Dr. Fauci and Dr. Scarf purposely undermined his efforts with their lies, double-talk and obfuscation. While Trump fought the good fight, white-coated bureaucrats and their pals in Big Pharma got incredibly wealthy.
They watched Trump castigate China for loosing COVID-19 upon the world, causing millions of needless deaths, even as the NBA, Hollywood, influential leaders of both parties, and the Biden Crime Family all filled their pockets with yauns while defending the fine folks of the Chinese Communist Party.
They surely observed how President Trump’s policies lifted all financial boats, setting records for black and Hispanic employment, while the Swamp was busy calling Trump and his supporters irredeemable racists.
They couldn’t help but notice how Trump was deemed a scoundrel for pointing out that women generally allowed him easy sexual access because he was a wealthy celebrity. But those same folks upset with Trump’s statement of fact, were totally incurious about our current demented president’s fondness for touching, fondling, and smelling small children; nor did they show any interest in reports that Creepy Joe took showers with his young daughter, who then became a promiscuous young woman and an addict.
They surely took note of Trump’s incredible energy in his old age, how quick he was to travel the world, campaign for his undeserving party, and speak to reporters. It must have been shocking then to see Senile Joe garble his words, hide from the press, and spend long weekends out of sight and out of mind in Delaware, all this while falling up stairs and off his bicycle.
They also noted how firm President Trump was with other countries, telling Germany to pony up for NATO, forcing Mexico to stop enabling illegal immigration with financial penalties, and reducing IRGC general Qasem Suleimani to a grease stain on the desert floor for threatening U.S. soldiers and diplomats. Now, of course, they watch as Iran plays Biden’s diplomats for fools, Russia feels secure enough in Biden’s impotence to start a war, and the Saudis laugh in the doddering old fool’s face when Biden comes begging for more oil.
They could see that President Trump made the U.S. energy independent, creating jobs and prosperity for everyone; while the current administration has crushed the energy industry, making gas and oil unaffordable for the common man, even as the climate-change crusaders fly around in private jets, party maskless during a pandemic, and buy up oceanfront mansions.
They watched Donald Trump become the first president to stand up for the rights of unborn babies and choose like-minded justices for the Supreme Court; this followed by an administration vowing to use all means, legal and extralegal, to facilitate the dismemberment of unborn innocents, not to mention choosing a Supreme Court justice solely on the basis of her genitalia and skin color.
They observed Trump praising and building up our military might, even as turncoats like General Mark “White Rage” Milley and Col. Alexander Vindman, surely the softest Ranger ever, purposely undermined their commander-in-chief by providing comfort to the enemy and conspiring to impeach the president, respectively.
In summation, it’s clear to me and anyone with eyes to see why a majority of Americans thinks our government is rotten to the core, and why many think a second American Revolution may be necessary to restore integrity in government. What’s not clear is why anyone who’s lived through the obvious double standards I just enumerated, doesn’t feel that way.

Biden's Cabinet: Let us Count the Ways
That “President” Biden’s administration is the most inept, counterproductive, outright laughable in post-World War II American history is beyond question. One hardly needs to list out all the failures, missed goals and broken promises that we’ve suffered through in the last two years. From generationally high inflation to skyrocketing energy prices to product shortages to rampant illegal immigration, Biden’s pathetic collection of Keystone Kops advisors and operatives could not have done a better job of destroying American culture, ruining the economy, gutting our defenses, and robbing us of international respect and influence if they’d tried.
Much of the blame can be laid at the feet of his sorrowful collection of incapable, bumbling cabinet members. To a person, they are simply a pitiful assemblage of special-interest box-checkers, apparently chosen for their appearance and demographic makeup, as opposed to their actual expertise and experience.
Mercifully, we won’t go through an analysis of every one of them here. Let’s just look at a few and see how they’ve played their role in harming the country with their utter incompetence and their hyperpartisan behavior.
Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg
This appointment could be the most egregious of a truly notable group of incompetents. Mayor Pete was loved by the rank-and-file Democratic primary crowd not because of any worthwhile talent or accomplishment, but because of his choice of his life partner’s gender. He is the ultimate box-checker, the quintessential example of valueless progressive virtue-signaling. Buttigieg has never had the slightest experience in matters of complex international logistics, yet here he is, occupying a high-profile cabinet post and drawing inordinate negative attention to a normally invisible position by his having messed things up so badly.
Empty store shelves, container ships backed up, airlines canceling flights, inane statements like, “Just buy an electric car,” and more mark his totally deficient stewardship over what should be a relatively easy, straightforward post. No one can even name a past Secretary of Transportation, but everyone knows Mayor Pete because things are so screwed up. And for no good reason.

Where do we even start? Rolling over to China in the Administration’s first high-stakes face-to-face meeting in Alaska in March 2021? His part in the completely disastrous and humiliating withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021? His total lack of personal gravitas with a demeanor that screams of soft weakness? As America’s diplomatic face to the world, Blinken is the utter embodiment of the term “pushover.”

There was a great TV ad a few decades ago, where a sleazy salesman was on the phone with a disgruntled customer, caught in an obvious lie about his substandard product, saying, “I have… uh…. total confidence… that… uh…. everything will work out just fine” as copious, comical amounts of sweat poured from his brow. That’s Yellin, as she admitted that this horrific inflation would not be transitory after all, her earlier pronouncements to the contrary now exposed as the transparent partisan lies everyone knew them to be all along.

This choice is particularly rich. Energy -- which really means the management of nation’s exploration and production of fossil fuels -- is a very complicated and demanding position. Unlike many other cabinet posts, the selection of Energy Secretary demands that the individual have actual, real expertise and experience in that area. This is not a position for “on the job” training. An in-depth knowledge of worldwide energy market/economic dynamics, a true understanding of the U.S. auto market, the ability to balance competing economic vs. environmental factors, the capability to be mindful of political considerations without being blindly beholden to them to the detriment of the country, all these skills are essential in order for the Secretary of Energy to effectively discharge his responsibilities.
In fairness to Granholm, very few of her predecessors have satisfied all those requirements either. But most have at least done little harm, unlike her. Granholm apparently has no real knowledge of anything and simply parrots the Green line that, “Fossil fuels are bad, buy an EV, drive past the gas station.” That’s our national energy policy? Really? The conflicting considerations of worldwide oil supply and demand, domestic exploration/production, our national refining capacity, fuel distribution/logistics, political/environmental issues, all of these must be weighed in proper proportion in order to create an energy policy that works to the country’s benefit. Granholm gives every indication that she knows none of this whatsoever, and worse yet, doesn’t care. Her aim is clearly just to prop up the current Administration’s political position.
We could go on, with cabinet member after cabinet member. Are any of them experts in their field? Being from Massachusetts, the memory of Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh as a glib-talking, heavily-accented Boston mayor totally bereft of any substantive accomplishments is all too clear to me. What notable, innovative enhancements has he brought to the national labor market in his current position? None. Raimondo? Becerra? The bungling Lloyd Austin? Cardona? Fudge? Any of the others? They are all box-checking political rewards.
Attorney General Merrick Garland
Garland is the exception in this group. He has actual professional qualifications to be attorney general. He was a well-established U.S Circuit Court of Appeals judge in D.C. and has had a long career in the legal profession. Unlike all the other cabinet members, Garland’s education, experience, and expertise in his field are beyond question.
Unfortunately, his obvious qualifications make him the saddest, most pathetic political hack of a group of truly notable hacks. Garland can’t fall back on the “I didn’t know any better” or the “Well, it’s not my area” excuse. He does know better and it is his area. When he initiates a fraudulent, arbitrary prosecution against a former Trump associate or refuses to prosecute flagrant crimes against conservative Republicans, there can be no doubt that Garland is carrying out a one-sided, partisan legal strategy of the worst kind. He is so prejudiced and vengeful that he makes Eric Holder (known for being “Obama’s wingman”) and Loretta Lynch (she of the infamous Clinton runway meeting) look like Atticus Finch by comparison.
The fact that Merrick Garland is the only Biden cabinet member with any semblance of professional credentials and that he misuses those credentials in the extreme manner in which he does says everything one needs to know about this absolute embarrassment of a presidency.
Hunter Biden could reportedly be charged by the Justice Department for tax violations and lying to law enforcement about illegally purchasing a firearm, as the probe into President Joe Biden’s son comes to a head.
Trump-appointed U.S. prosecutor David Weiss is deliberating whether to charge Hunter for “making a false statement in connection with Biden’s purchase of a firearm at a time he would have been prohibited from doing so because of his acknowledged struggles with drug addiction,” CNN reported Wednesday.
As Breitbart News reported , Hunter may have lied on paperwork he submitted when purchasing a handgun in 2018 by not disclosing his drug additions. Hunter’s sister-in-law, with whom he had an affair, reportedly took his gun and disposed of it. Hunter’s text messages reveal the Secret Service, the FBI, and state law enforcement likely became involved, but without consequences for the president’s son.
The probe, which has been ongoing for years and debated for months among Justice Department officials, also centers on the Biden family’s foreign business schemes while Joe Biden was vice president. During those years, Hunter routinely met with Joe Biden about 30 times at either the White House or the vice president’s residences at the Naval Observatory, Hunter’s laptop from hell revealed.
In particular, Weiss is studying whether Hunter and associates “violated money laundering, campaign finance, tax and foreign lobbying laws, as well as whether Hunter Biden broke federal firearm and other regulations,” multiple CNN sources said.
The deliberations have not only included the Justice Department but have reportedly engulfed the FBI and IRS Criminal Investigation agency.
Hunter has been hoping to settle the investigation without criminal or civil charges, the New York Times reported.
Joe Biden’s Attorney General, Merrick Garland, has promised not to interfere with the probe. “He is supervising the investigation and I’m not at liberty to talk about internal Justice Department deliberations, but he is in charge of that investigation,” Garland said of Weiss.
Garland has refused to say whether a special counsel should be placed over the investigation to maintain a just investigation. A special counsel would provide a degree of separation between Biden’s administration and the probe. Legal experts have stated a special counsel is necessary because Joe Biden has denied any wrongdoing by Hunter and may have influenced the ongoing investigation.
Weiss will have to weigh if there is enough evidence to seek a federal grand jury indictment against Hunter in an investigation that may end up including other members of the Biden family, such as Joe Biden’s brother, James Biden, and potentially the president himself. CNN reported, however, that the president is not under the microscope of the probe. Yet evidence shows Joe Biden has been involved in his the family business schemes13 times.
The probe into Hunter could include his business dealings with Ukrainian Energy company Burisma Holdings and a Chinese energy conglomerate, as well as implicating his father the Vice President and other family members.
According to a Rasmussen Reports poll on Thursday, most Americans believe the Bidens’ corrupt business practices are worrisome. Sixty-nine percent of voters say Joe Biden is aware of “at least some” of Hunter Biden’s corrupt foreign business deals. Sixty-two percent say it is likely Joe Biden “personally profited from deals with Chinese- government connected companies.”

There is nothing unexpected about the emerging right-wing, pro-war, pro-Wall Street composition of the incoming Biden administration. Biden himself spent decades in Washington as a corrupt bag-man for wealthy interests in the state of Delaware, the legal headquarters of hundreds of thousands of corporations that take advantage of its business-friendly laws.
President Joe Biden returned to his home in Delaware on Tuesday, marking his 49th trip to the state as president.
The president left for home again on Tuesday afternoon after signing his green energy spending bill.
Biden has now spent a record 150 days at home in Delaware in the 18 months since he was elected president, according to former CBS correspondent Mark Knoller, easily beating recent presidential records.
That number does not count Biden’s other vacation in Nantucket Island, Massachusetts for Thanksgiving and his summer vacation at Kiawah Island, North Carolina last week.
Former President Donald Trump spent 132 days away from the White House at his own properties, either at Mar-a-Lago in the winter or Bedminster, New Jersey in the summer.

Biden’s numbers are high as he prefers to spend his weekends at his home in Delaware, usually deploying considerable federal resources to return home for either long weekends or even just one day. The White House press pool also has to shuttle back and forth to Delaware with the president, despite his preference to remain mostly out of sight of the cameras while at home.
In August 2021, Biden took nine Marine One flights in just 18 days as he tried to maintain his vacation schedule in Delaware and the presidential retreat at Camp David.
The White House has repeatedly defended Biden’s frequent trips to Delaware, noting that his two properties in the state are his “home.”
“The president lives in Wilmington. It’s his home. That’s where he’s lived for many, many years,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said in 2021.
In February, Biden boasted of his multiple trips home during a speech he delivered in Ohio.

FRESNO, Calif. — A former U.S. Congressman from central California was arrested Tuesday by federal agents on wire fraud, money laundering, and campaign contribution fraud charges stemming from “multiple fraud schemes,” federal prosecutors said.
Terrance “T.J.” Cox was arrested by agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigations in Fresno, where he was booked to the Fresno County jail on a U.S. Marshals hold, jail records showed. It was not immediately known if he has an attorney who can speak on his behalf. An email message sent to Cox Tuesday was not immediately answered.
Cox, a Democrat, represented the 21st Congressional District from January 2019 to January 2021. The district is in the agriculture-rich San Joaquin Valley and includes Kings County and portions of Fresno, Kern, and Tulare counties.
Cox, 59, was charged with 15 counts of wire fraud, 11 counts of money laundering, one count of financial institution fraud, and one count of campaign contribution fraud, U.S. Attorney Phillip Talbert said in a statement.
Talbert said that between 2013 and 2018, Cox allegedly obtained $1.7 million from funds he solicited from clients and loans he got for his companies and then stole by diverting the money to “off-the-book bank accounts.”
Cox partially owned, managed and was employed by several companies and non-profit organizations, including a business that helped companies get loans and federal tax credits, an almond processing company and a non-profit that operated Granite Park, a recreation facility in Fresno, according to the complaint.
Cox also fraudulently obtained a $1.5 million construction loan to develop Granite Park, Talbert said.
After his nonprofit could not qualify for the construction loan for the recreation facility without a party guaranteeing the loan, Cox said that one of his companies would guarantee the loan, and submitted a fabricated board resolution that falsely stated that during a meeting all company owners had agreed to guarantee the Granite Park loan.
“No meeting took place, and the other owners did not agree to back the loan,” Talbert said.
The loan later went into default, causing a loss of more than $1.28 million, he said.
According to the indictment, when Cox was campaigning in 2017 for the U.S. House of Representatives he perpetrated a scheme to fund and reimburse family members and associates for donations to his campaign, prosecutors said. Cox arranged for over $25,000 in illegal straw or conduit donations to his campaign, Talbert said.
If convicted, Cox faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for wire fraud and money laundering, and up to 30 years in prison and a $1 million fine for wire fraud affecting a financial institution. The charge of campaign contribution fraud carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Nancy Bass Wyden, the multimillionaire owner of New York's Strand bookstore, received $2.7 million in Paycheck Protection Program loans between 2020 and 2021 and nonetheless went on to lay off 180 employees. Small businesses were eligible for the federally forgiven loans on the condition that they used a majority of the funds to keep employees on the payroll. In October 2020, Bass Wyden told CBS News that the Strand would not rehire many of those employees and that the store would "have to give back part of the loan due to the forgiveness rules."
But as of September of last year, the federal government had forgiven both loans, ProPublica reported . The Small Business Administration declined to comment and the Strand did not respond to the Washington Free Beacon's requests for comments on the loans.
The Paycheck Protection Program came under fire in 2020 for shelling out millions to billionaire real estate investors. Other family members of Democrats also got in line for handouts, including the multimillionaire father of then-Senate candidate Jon Ossoff (D.) who scored as much as $1 million from the program. Businesses like the Strand were able to line their pockets and lay off dozens of workers without rehiring them as long as 60 percent of the money went to payroll expenses.
Wyden and a group of senators pushed then-Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin and Small Business Administrator Jovita Carranza in April 2020 "to develop strong supervisory mechanisms to identify instances of unjust enrichment" for the program.
"Every loan that provides a windfall for an applicant who does not truly need it results in one fewer loan made to a struggling small business owner whose employees could be truly helped by this funding," the senators wrote in a letter.
Wyden’s wife refused to rehire many of the employees she fired even after the Strand received its PPP loans, leaving the bookstore "woefully understaffed," according to the union that represents the workers. She pleaded with the public to purchase more books in late 2020, saying the store’s revenue had plummeted 70 percent and that loans and cash reserves were "depleted." The Strand said it was "impossible" to rehire all staff even with the paycheck loan boost.
"The limited sales we make now plus the PPP loan are the only things keeping our staff paid," a Strand spokesman told Vulture in March 2021. "So until in-store sales bounce back, this is the best we can do."
Bass Wyden earned as much as $3 million in book sales during the layoffs, according to her husband’s annual financial disclosures. The Oregonian reported in 2011 the couple’s net worth is between $12 million and $56 million.
The couple purchased millions of dollars' worth of stock in 2020 that appreciated substantially following lockdowns, including as much as $600,000 in shares of Amazon, a prime competitor with independent bookstores.
An inspector general’s report in May found many Americans took advantage of the PPP loans as the Small Business Administration had no plan to counter fraud. One former U.S. attorney dubbed the program "the biggest fraud in a generation."
Bass Wyden inherited the Strand from her father Ben Bass. Her children are next in line to take control of the 90-year-old bookstore next, according to the Strand's website.

Americans overwhelmingly dismiss corporate demands for more legal and illegal immigrant workers, even at the threatened cost of higher inflation.
Instead, by a factor of more than two to one, Americans agree companies “should raise wages and try harder to recruit Americans even if it causes the prices of their products to rise,” according to a July 20-22 poll by YouGov.com
The poll asked 1,000 citizens: “When businesses say they are having trouble finding Americans to take jobs in construction, manufacturing, hospitality, and other service work, what do you think they should do?”
Just 22 percent agreed with the pro-migration view, that employers “should recruit immigrant workers to help keep business costs and prices down.”
In contrast, 50 percent favored the “raise wages …[and[] recruit Americans” policy.
The remaining 28 percent percent of respondents said they were “not sure.” Their answer suggests those adults did not care about the issue.
So 50 percent “raise wages” group is more than two-thirds of the respondents who had an opinion on the question.
The polls’ crosstabs show the 2:1 favoritism towards fellow American employees in nearly all demographic groups.
The subgroups least favorable to Americans were Democrats, Asians, Hispanics, and younger voters, which includes a disproportionate share of Hispanics and immigrants.
The subgroups most favorable toward fellow Americans were Republicans, older people, and middle-income people.
Republicans split 59 percent for American employees, and 17 percent for employers.
Democrats, however, split 47 percent for employees, and 30 percent for employers.
The data shows a 25-point difference between the two parties.
However, so far, GOP leaders have dodged the jobs and wages issue in their frequent denunciations of the Democratic Party’s growing favoritism for immigrants over Americans.
For example, New York’s Governor recently touted the bussed-in southern economic migrants as ready to replace Americans in the workforce. The inflow of low-wage workers “is good for our economy,” Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul claimed on August 11. “I just did a farm tour upstate New York — they’re begging for workers,” she told media outlets, according to the New York Post :
“I walked the streets of Manhattan, I walked the streets of Albany — there’s help-wanted signs everywhere. We are a smart, thoughtful country, and can put aside everybody’s passions around this and say: ‘This is actually good for our economy,’” she insisted.
Yet on August 9, GOP leaders released a letter complaining about the migrants’ receipt of aid and welfare while ignoring the widespread pocketbook concerns about the migrants’ impact on jobs, wages, rents, and housing prices :
The Biden Administration’s refusal to secure our nation’s border is resulting in a historic influx of illegal immigrants, who are being transported to their destinations of choice, including New York. This creates a significant stress on state and local resources, and also increases security risks.
However, the YouGov poll showed that Americans in the northeast – including New York — took the strongest position in favor of American employees, 57 percent to 18 percent.
The August 9 GOP letter was signed by the GOP’s gubernatorial candidate, Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY), and Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), who chairs the House GOP conference, as well as New York Reps. Andrew Garbarino, Chris Jacobs, Nicole Malliotakis, Claudia Tenney, and retired John Katko.
But the state party is deeply reliant on investors for funding. Those investors stand to gain from an inflow of immigrant workers, consumers, and renters — yet they also stand to lose when Democrats raise taxes and regulations, impose price controls, and skew social status in favor of their diversity coalition.
So far, GOP investors nationwide have insisted on their migration priorities even though the GOP needs to win swing voters and spike turnout by the GOP’s free-market base.
The YouGov results are echoed by prior polls and by Rasmussen Reports.
Since 2019, Rasmussen’s bi-weekly “Immigration Index” polls show a lopsided 3:1 favoritism towards employees over employers who want to hire foreign workers.
From July 31 to August 4, Rasmussen asked 1,250 likely voters:

Is it better for businesses to raise the pay and try harder to recruit non-working Americans even if it causes prices to rise, or is it better for the government to bring in new foreign workers to help keep business costs and prices down?
Sixty-three percent picked “recruit non-working Americans” and 19 percent picked “being in new foreign workers.”
Republicans split 68 percent for employees to 14 percent for employers, while independent voters split 60 percent to 19 percent.
Extraction Migration
The policy of Extraction Migration is central to the U.S. economy. The policy extracts human material — migrants — from poor countries and uses them as workers, renters, and consumers to shift vast wealth from ordinary people to billionaires and Wall St .
Since at least 1990, the D.C. establishment has extracted tens of millions of legal and illegal migrants — plus temporary visa workers — from poor countries to serve as workers, managers, consumers, and renters for various U.S. investors and CEOs.
This policy of labor inflation makes it difficult for ordinary Americans to get married, advance in their careers, raise families, or buy homes.
Extraction migration slows innovation and shrinks Americans’ productivity, partly because it allows employers to boost stock prices by using cheap stoop labor instead of productivity-boosting technology .
Migration undermines employees’ workplace rights, and it widens the regional wealth gaps between the Democrats’ big coastal states and the Republicans’ heartland and southern states. The flood of cheap labor tilts the economy towards low-productivity jobs and has shoved at least ten million American men out of the labor force.
An economy built on extraction migration also drains Americans’ political clout over elites, alienates young people, and radicalizes Americans’ democratic civic culture because it allows wealthy elites to ignore despairing Americans at the bottom of society.

The economic policy is backed by progressives who wish to transform the U.S. from a society governed by European-origin civic culture into a progressive-directed empire of competitive, resentful identity groups. “We’re trying to become the first multiracial, multi-ethnic superpower in the world,” Rep. Rohit Khanna (D-CA) told the New York Times in March 2022. “It will be an extraordinary achievement … we will ultimately triumph,” he boasted.
The progressives’ colonialism-like economic strategy kills many migrants . It exploits the poverty of migrants and splits foreign families as it extracts human resources from poor home countries to serve wealthy U.S. investors. This migration policy also minimizes shareholder pressure on U.S. companies to build up beneficial and complementary trade with people in poor countries. EAGLE PASS, Texas — Within the course of a few short hours, nearly 700 migrants waded across the Rio Grande hoping to surrender to authorities and gain release into the United States. Breitbart Texas posted at several major migrant crossings and observed several large and small migrant groups surrendering to Texas Army National Guard soldiers, Highway Patrol troopers, and Border Patrol agents in and around the small Texas border town of Eagle Pass on Sunday.
The first large migrant group crossed the Rio Grande near Normandy, Texas, 20 miles north of Eagle Pass. The group of nearly 300 migrants, mostly single adults, surrendered to Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Highway Patrol troopers and Border Patrol agents. Some members of the migrant group waited for nearly four hours to be transported to a nearby processing center. The delay in transporting the migrants from the immediate border area was the result of the sudden, overwhelming influx of migrants surrendering to law enforcement authorities in a short span of time.

Within five hours, almost 700 mostly Venezuelan, Cuban, and Nicaraguan migrants would ford the Rio Grande at multiple locations in and around the city of Eagle Pass. One group of more than 200 migrants were apprehended after they surrendered to Texas Army National Guard soldiers and Texas DPS troopers just south of the city. Texas DPS officials transported that group to an international port of entry to await transfer to the Border Patrol as part of Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s plan to return the migrants directly to Customs and Border Protection ports of entry.

As temperatures rose to above 100 degrees Fahrenheit, troopers stood guard over the migrants at the Camino Real Port of Entry until Border Patrol agents arrived to take custody of the migrants. Breitbart Texas observed the troopers as they awaited several hours for the arrival of the Border Patrol’s limited and overwhelmed transportation resources to arrive.

Smaller groups of migrants crossed the Rio Grande in and around the city of Eagle Pass in a steady flow as Breitbart Texas looked on. The smaller groups, numbering from three to more than a dozen waded the swift currents of the river to surrender to awaiting Texas Army National Guard soldiers.

Just south of the city, another large group moved inland from the Rio Grande walking along a marked path directing the migrants to the nearest roadway. The group of nearly 100 walked along a dusty road for nearly one mile before surrendering to Texas Army National Guard soldiers and Texas DPS Highway Patrol troopers.

Eagle Pass, part of the Del Rio Sector of the Border Patrol, is now the hotspot for migrant crossings and currently leads all other border sectors in migrant apprehensions. As reported by Breitbart Texas, nearly 50,000 migrants entered the United States in July within Del Rio Sector — now the nation’s busiest Border Patrol sector. According to a CBP source, the vast majority of those 50,000 migrants crossed the Rio Grande at or near Eagle Pass. This represents an average of more than, 1,600 migrants per day in this single border sector.

Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) is again requesting President Joe Biden deploy the National Guard to help deal with the illegal immigration “crisis,” as Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) continues busing migrants to the sanctuary city.
This week, Bowser again requested Biden’s Department of Defense to deploy the National Guard after her last request was rejected by the administration. Bowser posted the letter she sent the Pentagon to her Twitter account:

Biden officials, speaking anonymously, have said the president is concerned about “the optics” of a Democrat mayor calling record-setting illegal immigration levels a “humanitarian crisis, as Bowser has done.
For months now, Abbott has sent thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens to Washington, D.C., as well as New York City — two of the nation’s premier sanctuary jurisdictions with Democrat mayors that have promised to shield illegal aliens from arrest and deportation.
Late last month, Bowser called the migrant buses to D.C. a “tipping point” for the city. In her most recent National Guard request, Bowser called the buses a “crisis.”

In Texas border towns alone, nearly 130,000 border crossers and illegal aliens were caught crossing the border in June. Last month, in the small town of Normandy, Texas — with a population of just 29 residents — a single group of about 400 border crossers and illegal aliens crossed into the area in a single day.
Abbott’s migrant busing policy has come as the Biden administration has hugely expanded its Catch and Release operation whereby thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens are released into the United States interior every day.
From February 2021 to May 2022, more than a million border crossers and illegal aliens have been released into American communities by the Biden administration.

Less than 20 miles away from where I'm writing this in San Diego, the next city over is exploding into some kind of Ukraine-like hellscape.
According to local station CBS8 :
TIJUANA, Baja California — The United States Consulate General in Tijuana is instructing employees to shelter in place after unrest in the region began on Friday.
The U.S. consulate is warning government employees near Tijuana, Mexicali, Rosarito, Ensenada, Tecate to shelter in place until further notice due to vehicle fires, roadblocks and heavy police activity.
U.S. citizens are being told to avoid the area, seek secure shelter, and monitor local media for updates.
It must be still on the national-news radar as a local story, maybe something that happens all the time, this being Tee Jay.
But it's no local story. It's the logical consequence of Joe Biden's open borders policy, which has made control of Tijuana and all border cities worth fighting for to Mexico's brutal cartels. Apparently, three have laid claim to these cities -- and they are big ones, TJ is bigger than San Diego, which is America's sixth-largest city, for one, putting these cities under an unprecedented siege.

Cartels don't go to "war" like this unless a lot of money is at stake. And there is.
Joe Biden's open borders policies has led to a full-blown war zone at the very edge of the U.S. with scenes like these all because of the money and power at stake. It's compounded by the Mexican federal government's coddling of cartels. That's a toxic, explosive mixture that has led to this actual national security crisis.
Why would three cartels set off this level of violence to gain control of Tijuana? Well, look at the map -- Tijuana is the gateway to San Diego, Los Angeles, San Jose, Riverside, Las Vegas, Fresno, Sacramento, San Francisco, and beyond, all huge markets of intense interest to Mexican drug smugglers and human traffickers. Biden's dinner triangle to illegal aliens still breaking into the country has led to more than a million illegal border crossings since his administration took office. With the U.S. no longer controlling its border, cartels have filled the void, collecting some $7,000 per migrant per crossing. That's a lot of fresh capital for the cartels, even as the states are expected to pick up the tab for the migrants themselves.
The second issue is that this is damn close to the states, and anyone who thinks this level of violence and disorder couldn't possibly spread inside here, what with Joe Biden's open border and its 900,000 'gotaways' is an idiot. Who does Joe think the gotaways might be? The cartels are here, and they have been here for years. Why wouldn't the battle for control of Tijuana not spread to Lancaster, Riverside, San Bernardino, Chula Vista, San Diego proper, Pine Valley, San Pedro, Echo Park, Huntington Park, Southgate, Cudahy, Santa Ana, Garden Grove, San Fernando, Van Nuys, Sun Valley, or East L.A.? All of these areas have seen significant cartel and illegal alien activity in recent years.
There's a war on now, and while it's obvious enough to those of us staring down this 1990s-like Medellin with our own eyes, Joe Biden's not talking about it. He's about to sign off on 87,000 new IRS agents to audit us dreadful deplorables, but not a single cent for more Border Patrol agents or ICE agents. Those agencies have been converted into "processors" and transport agents for illegal immigrants which is ultimately a service for the cartels, which as a result are now richer and and more ravenous than ever.
Now the war is on, it's August, and same as Afghanistan, Joe Biden is on vacation.
Perhaps it's just a blow-up that will settle down. But more likely, something bigger is happening. Biden can thank himself for setting the series of events in motion. But ultimately, the bad story will be in his likely head-in-the-sand Afghanistan-like handling of the disaster which will be more legacy for him.

The Gulf Cartel continues to implement a strategy where they board passenger buses to search for migrants traveling north to the border city of Reynosa. The interceptions take place on the outskirts of the city or at the bus station. The migrants trying to get to Texas are forced to go to cartel stash houses.
Breitbart Texas spoke with Miranda Villanueva, a woman from Mexico who recently traveled by bus from Central Mexico to Reynosa. According to Villanueva, as the bus arrived at the bus station, three men began asking the passengers where they were from and demanded identification. Those who did not have ID or travel documents were singled out and told to go with the men.
“They got on the bus and asked us to identify ourselves,” Villanueva said. “I heard them say that whoever had the [cartel] codes to put their hands up. More than one person raised their hands.”
The tactic is similar to another bus raid caught on tape in 2016 . In that case, the gunmen were intercepting travelers from Reynosa to Miguel Aleman and ordering migrants off the bus.
Breitbart Texas spoke with law enforcement in Tamaulipas who revealed that when cartel-connected human smugglers use a coding system to identify migrants whose smuggling fees are paid. The codes are provided at the start of their journey. Those migrants are taken to stash houses and the rest of the trip depends on individual conditions.
If the migrants are able to request asylum, they simply wait for their turn and then are taken to the Rio Grande and coached on what to say to U.S. immigration authorities.
Migrants who have been previously deported or do not qualify for asylum must wait to be smuggled into Texas and taken to via stash house, a costly process.
The Tamaulipas law enforcement official added that in the case of those who do not have a code or travel documents, they are taken to a separate stash house where they are forced to pay for the right to cross through Reynosa or call loved ones to arrange wire transfers.
The source revealed that state authorities have their hands tied in most cases due to jurisdictional limitations. Only when migrants complain about kidnapping or extortion can state authorities investigate and make arrests.

Mexican Border City Highway Turns into Cartel Dumping Ground for Bodies Breitbart Texas / Cartel Chronicles 2:49
Cartel gunmen have turned a 10-mile stretch of highway in the Mexican border city of Reynosa into a dumping ground for the bodies. So far this year, gunmen have dumped, buried, or burned 15 victims that have been found by authorities.
Viaducto Reynosa runs about 10 miles on the south side of the city. Along that road, Gulf Cartel gunmen dispose of bodies despite a nearby state police substation.
The most recent dumping took place on Tuesday afternoon when authorities received a 911 call about a body on fire just south of the highway. It took authorities about three hours to respond to the scene and locate the still smoldering remains of a man who had been set on fire next to a stack of tires.
Authorities called the local fire department to help them put out the flames before documenting the crime scene. The victim has not been identified.
Also on Tuesday afternoon, social media posts led authorities to a body wrapped in trash bags and dumped along Viaducto Reynosa near a rural community known as Anacuas.
The Gulf Cartel has been using mass graves and burning for years to dispose of victims . As a result, local officials claim the border city has a low murder rate thanks to lacking physical evidence of homicides.

Cartel gunmen shot and killed a radio crew and several bystanders during a series of attacks on businesses throughout Ciudad Juarez. Authorities note 11 murders and several cars and businesses set on fire in a span of 10 hours. The violence is attributed to a cartel turf war that began inside a local prison.
The mass killing of the media workers took place Thursday evening in the north side of Ciudad Juarez in the Pradera Dorada neighborhood, where Alan Gonzalez, a radio host for Switch 105.9 FM was broadcasting a segment, Milenio
Gonzalez and three of his coworkers were broadcasting outside a local pizza shop when cartel gunmen shot at them before storming the business, targeting customers. The gunmen killed the media workers and injured four other nearby victims. In a separate attack at a convenience store, gunmen shot two women, La Verdad reported.
The violence began earlier in the day inside a Chihuahua State Prison during a riot involving the Chapos and Mexicles, said Mexico’s President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador. The two cells are enforcement wings of the Sinaloa Cartel but have been at odds for some time.
The riot broke out at around 1 pm at the #3 CERESO state prison, when inmates from Los Chapos were attacked by the Mexicles, El Universal
As authorities tried to take control of the prison, members of the Mexicles cell began carrying out random attacks throughout the city as a way to keep police forces busy, El Universal
According to La Verdad , prison guards allegedly allowed gunmen to enter the facility just before the riot. Hours later, social media messages signed by Fuerzas Especiales Mexicles issued a threat to local police and claimed that they had sold out to the Chapiza and would be targeted as a result.

Police: Illegal Alien, Accused of Murdering a Mother and Son, Held Girl Captive to Sexually Assault Her TCSO 2:23
A previously deported illegal alien, charged with brutally murdering a young mother and her son, is accused of keeping the woman’s daughter alive and holding her captive for the purpose of sexually assaulting her, police allege.
As Breitbart News reported , 37-year-old illegal alien José Paulino Pascual-Reyes of Mexico is charged with three counts of capital murder, two counts of corpse abuse, and one count of kidnapping after allegedly murdering 34-year-old Sandra Vazquez Ceja and her 14-year-old son as well as keeping her 12-year-old daughter captive in Dadeville, Alabama.
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency has since confirmed that Pascual-Reyes was previously deported in 2014 under the Obama administration but later re-entered the United States via the southern border at an unknown date.
Ceja and her two children first arrived at the southern border in 2017 and were given parole to enter the U.S. by the Trump administration while awaiting an asylum court hearing. Though Ceja was dating Pascual-Reyes, he was not the father of her two children.
The 12-year-old girl, according to the Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Office, was held captive by Pascual-Reyes for a week beginning on July 24 — tied to a bed in his Dadeville residence — but was able to escape by chewing off her restraints.
Police allege Pascual-Reyes did not kill the girl and was keeping her captive for the purpose of later sexually assaulting her. The girl, police said, suffered a blow to the head at the hands of Pascual-Reyes while she was held captive.
Ceja, according to police, was smothered to death with a pillow by Pascual-Reyes. The illegal alien, police said, also murdered Ceja’s 14-year-old son by beating and kicking him to death.
Both their bodies were found dismembered in Pascual-Reyes’s residence after a driver spotted the 12-year-old girl walking down a highway near the residence. The girl led police to her mother’s and brother’s bodies.
Pascual-Reyes is being held without bail in an Alabama jail.

Fake Arizona Fire Dept. SUV Used in Human Smuggling Attempt at Border U.S. Border Patrol/Tucson Sector 2:42
Douglas Station Border Patrol agents found an abandoned SUV disguised as a fire department vehicle. Several migrants fled back across the border into Mexico before agents arrived.
Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents from the Douglas Station responded to a report of a vehicle incursion along the Arizona border with Mexico, according to a tweet by Chief Patrol Agent John R. Modlin. Agents arrived a found what appeared to be a Mormon Lake Fire District chief’s vehicle.
Modlin said multiple migrants fled from the vehicle and went back into Mexico. Agents conducted a search and inspection of the vehicle and discovered a typo in one of the decals used to make it look like an emergency response vehicle.
Instead of “Mormon Lake,” the decal on the doors read “Mormon Like,” Modlin reported. Agents took possession of the fake fire department vehicle.
While not entirely commonplace, the tactic of using cloned emergency vehicles or commercial service trucks is employed from time to time.
As far back as December 2015, Breitbart Texas has been reporting on the tactic as human smugglers disguised a Chevy Tahoe as a Border Patrol SUV to bring in a load of migrants. agents found the vehicle on Interstate 35 north of Laredo, Texas.
Nearly one year later, human smugglers cloned a pickup truck to appear as an Imperial Valley Irrigation District vehicle. The driver admitted to using the fake county truck in an attempt to smuggle migrants away from the border, Breitbart Texas reported .
Smugglers also used a stolen EMS vehicle in August 2018 to attempt to sneak a load of migrants through the Falfurrias Border Patrol Checkpoint on U.S. Highway 281 in Brooks County, Texas.

Tucson Sector Chief Patrol Agent John R. Modlin tweeted a photo showing a group of 51 migrants apprehended by Tucson Station Border Patrol agents. The agents reported the group consisted mostly of Guatemalan migrants.
Modlin stated that of the 51 migrants, only one was an adult. The 50 minors also included an 11-month-old infant.
The human smuggling incident tied up multiple agents who had to take care of processing, feeding, providing medical screening, and transportation for the unaccompanied minors.
Elsewhere in the sector, Nogales Station agents received a tip from a concerned citizen regarding a possible human smuggling incident, Modlin tweeted.
Agents from the Nogales Station made contact with the vehicle near Green Valley, Arizona, and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle failed to yield and led agents on a pursuit.
The driver eventually lost control and crashed into the brush.
Agents found six adults and three juvenile migrants inside the smuggler’s SUV.

Ken Paxton, the attorney general of Texas, said his state is "desperate for help" to combat illegal immigration but the federal government "refuses to give it" help. Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents arrested five previously deported sex offenders and more than 20 dangerous gang members during a one-week period of time. The arrests took place along the border and as far inland as 80 miles.
Falfurrias Station Border Patrol agents apprehended Manuel Ramirez, a Honduran national illegally present in the United States. During a background investigation, agents discovered a conviction from a New York court in 2017 for first-degree attempted rape, according to information provided by Rio Grande Valley Sector officials. The court sentenced the Honduran national to four years in prison. The agents also reported the man as a member of the hyperviolent Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang
Two days later, Falfurrias agents arrested another MS-13 gang member. Agents identified the man as a Salvadoran national. A Virginia court sentenced the man to five years in prison following a conviction for carnal knowledge of a child.
Rio Grande City Station agents patrolling the border on August 2 arrested a Salvadoran national and identified him as a member of the Salvadoran 18th Street gang. Court records from El Salvador revealed a history of conviction for attempted homicide, possession of firearms, and theft, officials stated.
The following day, agents from the same station arrested Cesar Campos, a Peruvian national illegally present in the U.S. A records check led to the discovery of a conviction from a New York court for raping a child under the age of 17. The court handed down a sentence of 16 months to four years.
Later that day, Rio Grande City agents also arrested a Honduran migrant with a criminal conviction from a New Jersey court for criminal sexual contact. The court sentenced the man to 12 months in jail.
During the one-week period, agents in the South Texas border sector arrested 11 18th Street gang members, nine members of MS-13, and a Paisa gang member.
Any migrants previously deported following a criminal felony conviction are subject to prosecution in a federal court for illegal re-entry after removal. If charged and convicted, each could spend up to 20 years in federal prison.

Prosecutor: DNA Test Proves Illegal Alien Raped, Impregnated 10-Year-Old Girl Who Sought Abortion In the midst of its escalating provocations against China over Taiwan, the Biden administration approved yet another $1 billion in military aid to Ukraine. This brings the total direct military aid provided by the Pentagon to Ukraine since the beginning of the imperialist-provoked invasion by Russia to $9.8 billion. The White House also announced an additional $4.5 billion in financial aid for Ukraine on Monday.
According to the Pentagon, the new tranche of weapons deliveries will include:
additional ammunition for the 16 long-range HIMARS missiles which the Biden administration began delivering to Ukraine in May; 75,000 rounds of 155mm artillery ammunition; 20 120 mm mortar systems and 20,000 rounds of 120 mm mortar ammunition; 1,000 Javelin (each worth about $78,000) and hundreds of AT4 anti-armor systems; 50 armored medical treatment vehicles; C-4 explosives, demolition munitions and demolition equipment; and Munitions for National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems (NASAMS). This comes on top of $23.8 billion in military aid, including direct military aid and financial aid designed to help finance future weapons purchases, that the US had pledged as of July 1, according to the Kiehl Institute for the World Economy.
The new tranche in weapons is aimed at bolstering the Ukrainian army as it is preparing an offensive in the south of the country which has been largely occupied by Russia. Ukrainian officials have also threatened an offensive targeting the Black Sea peninsula of Crimea, which was annexed by Russia in 2014, with a Pentagon spokesman refusing to rule out such attacks , even though Kremlin officials have threatened to retaliate with nuclear weapons.
Highlighting the immense dangers posed by the conflict, there has been intense fighting at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant—the largest of its kind in Europe—over the past week. Russia and Ukraine have traded accusations of shelling the plant, which was reportedly damaged last week. Officials of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have warned that “there’s a very real risk of a nuclear disaster.” According to Bloomberg, Russia has invited IAEA representatives to visit the plant, but they are still awaiting permission from Kiev, as well as security guarantees and a safe passage through the war zone.
The latest US weapons delivery announcement comes as more and more information emerges that confirms the utterly criminal character of the imperialist proxy war against Russia in Ukraine and its horrific toll on the civilian population and soldiers on both sides. Reports by Amnesty International and the United Nations have now confirmed that the Ukrainian military is deploying tactics that serve to drive up civilian casualties. In violation of international law, Ukrainian troops have been routinely launching rockets and stationing personnel in densely populated areas, including hospitals, and have been using civilians as human shields.
While the Ukrainian government responded with hysterical denunciations to the report by Amnesty International, there has been no credible denial of the allegations of serious violations of international law.
The United Nations now put the figures of civilian casualties at over 5,400 dead and over 7,300 wounded. At least 12 million people out of a pre-war population of less than 40 million have been displaced by the war. Out of these 12 million, about 5 million have fled to neighboring countries, primarily Poland, while at least 7 million were displaced within Ukraine.
Ever more horrifying figures are also emerging about the shocking number of casualties among the Ukrainian army. While it has been impossible to confirm the veracity of documents circulating on social media which suggest that a stunning 191,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been either killed or wounded in action, it is clear that the casualties among the Ukrainian army must by now be in the tens of thousands. In June, one of the advisers of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Aleksei Arestovich, publicly stated that about 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers had been killed with another 100 more dying each day. The total number of dead must have increased significantly in the past months since this public revelation. The Ukrainian army also admitted that 7,200 men were missing in action as of July 11.
The Russian military has not made a single public statement on its casualties since March, when it acknowledged that 1,351 soldiers had died and 3,825 had been wounded in the first few weeks of the war. The Russian BBC wrote in June that it had established the names of at least 3,502 dead Russian soldiers and officers, based on official statements and information about funerals. The US government claims that the Russian military has had between 70,000 and 80,000 casualties.
Whatever the real numbers, it is already clear that the war in Ukraine is the bloodiest conflict in Europe since 1945, and, indeed, one of the bloodiest in modern history with the Washington Post noting in June that it “is killing far more soldiers per day than the typical war.” Yet Western weapons manufacturers are reaping profits from the slaughter and the massive military build-up by the imperialist powers.
In the first month of the invasion alone, the shares of the two leading US weapons manufacturers, Lockheed Martin and Raytheon Technologies, increased by 28 and 20 percent respectively. A report by Business Insider from May revealed that 20 Democratic and Republican congressmen and women owned shares in these two weapons manufacturers, with some buying their shares on February 24 or just days before the war began. All of them voted in favor of a massive $40 billion bill , which provides for over $17 billion for weapons that are to be manufactured in the US, primarily by these two companies, and then sent to Ukraine.
The bonanza of war profiteers is not limited to the US. The German weapons manufacturer Rheinmetall, a company that already ranked among the biggest profiteers from the horrific crimes of German imperialism in both world wars, saw its stock price surge a whopping 88 percent in the first three months of the war. Using the Russian invasion of Ukraine as a pretext, the German government announced a €100 billion rearmament program, the largest in German history, which included a €42 billion order to Rheinmetall.
The British Telegraph reported in late July that the UK’s BAE Systems, the largest weapons manufacturer in Europe, is “expecting a flood of new orders from countries preparing for the return of industrial war.” In the first six months of this year, the company already enjoyed a £18 billion (70 percent) boost in orders and saw its earnings before interest payments and tax rise to £1.11 billion. The UK has been the second-biggest weapons supplier to Ukraine, after the US.
Britain’s second largest weapons manufacturer Babcock has also been seeing orders raining in from Eastern European NATO member states, which are massively building up their militaries and are trying to switch from Soviet-era weapons. After making a loss of £1.18 billion the year prior, Babcock unveiled a pre-tax profit of £182.3 million in March 2022, and an order book up more than a fifth to almost £10 billion.
Charles Woodburn, BAE chief executive, told the Financial Times last week that his company was negotiating more orders with multiple governments, including the British. He stated, “We see this playing out over a multiyear period now.”

A DNA test proves that an illegal alien raped and impregnated a ten-year-old girl in Columbus, Ohio, according to prosecutors. The case was cited by President Joe Biden after the girl sought an abortion in Indianapolis, Indiana.
As Breitbart News has chronicled , 27-year-old illegal alien Gerson Fuentes was arrested and charged this month with raping the girl who then became pregnant. The case was cited by Biden — after the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade — because the girl traveled to undergo an abortion on June 30 at six weeks pregnant.
Following his arrest and the abortion, Franklin County prosecutors ordered DNA tests to be run on tissue from the aborted child to determine if Fuentes was in fact the father. On Thursday, prosecutor Dan Meyer said those tests confirmed that Fuentes raped and impregnated the girl.
As a result, Fuentes was denied bail and will be held in prison ahead of trial. Earlier this week, Fuentes pleaded not guilty.
The girl’s mother, who is reportedly pregnant with Fuentes’s child, has twice defended him against her daughter’s rape allegations. In interviews with Telemundo, the girl’s mother said that “everything that they’re saying against him is a lie.”
Fuentes has been able to live in the United States for at least seven years, working at a cafe despite his illegal alien status. The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency told Breitbart News that they had not previously encountered Fuentes until his arrest for allegedly raping the girl.
ICE agents have placed a detainer on him so that if he is released from local custody at any time, he will be turned over to their custody for arrest and deportation.

GOP legislators must use Congress’ budget power to block President Joe Biden’s invited “invasion” if they win the 2022 election, former President Donald Trump told a political event on Saturday.
“We must stop the invasion at our southern border,” Trump said to loud applause at a CPAC event in Texas. He then described the solution to Biden’s determined effort to spike migration above the annual limits set by Congress in 1990:
Republicans in Congress musy make clear that on their watch not a single penny of taxpayer money will go to funding Joe Biden’s open border agenda. It’s a sick agenda. It’s a sick agenda. Makes no sense … Next year we have to use the purse strings to send a message to every would-be illegal alien all over the world. If you break into our country illegally you will be caught, we will detain you and we will quickly send you back to the place from which you came or put you in prison
…
We will also need a record increase in the number of new ICE officers and border patrol officers to resume the enforcement of our immigration laws and to deport the illegal aliens [that] Joe Biden is refusing to deport — he won’t even they won’t even take out illegal aliens out of our country — in addition, we should pass much tougher penalties for repeat immigration violators of which there are many.
Trump repeatedly used the “invasion” theme as he urged voters to back GOP candidates in November:
There is another horrific disaster we must confront if we want to restore safety in our country. At long last, we must stop the invasion at our southern border. It’s an invasion. Our country is being invaded. Our country’s being invaded just like a military force was boring in.
The same invasion-by-criminals theme was pushed by Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL), who is directing the Senate GOP’s election campaign in 2022. “The Biden presidency, they brought us … [a] dangerous invasion of our border, drugs, and criminals marching in every day,” he said, adding:
Writing about Rome, historian Will Durant said “A great civilization is not conquered from without, until is first destroyed itself from within.” … Now today, we face the greatest danger we have ever faced: The militant left wing in our country has become the enemy within … They want to replace freedom with their control. The elites of the government are telling us what we can and cannot believe, what we can think and what we can do. They want to completely control our lives.
But, he added, “this fall, the American people are going to give a complete butt kicking to the Democrats.”
Scott’s speech at the event downplayed promises about border security — and more importantly — about immigration policy overall.
In February, however, Scott promised some partial reforms of migration policy, mostly by reducing illegal migration and by building a wall:
Countries have borders. We will control ours and secure it, once and for all. No one will enter without our permission. We lock our doors at night, not because we hate the people on the outside, but because we love the people on the inside and want to keep them safe.
But Scott’s February plan hinted at a possible “comprehensive immigration bill, which is widely regarded as a term endorsing more legal delivery of lore low-wage workers, high-occupancy renters, and welfare-aided consumers into Americans’ communities.
We will oppose all “comprehensive” immigration reform measures until [emphasis added] we stop the lawlessness on our border, and our border is secured …We are a stronger nation because we are a nation of immigrants, but immigration without assimilation makes us weaker.
The Republican National Committee and the House GOP’s 2022 election campaign are also downplaying the economic impact of Biden’s organized, expensive and deadly invite to millions of poor foreign people.
Other GOP candidates are talking up the “invasion ” theme, including Georgia GOP Gov. Brian Kemp. For example, a TV ad by Kemp claims an “invasion on the southern border,” even though Kemp has done little or nothing to curb the massive inflow of illegal migrant workers, consumers, and renters into the jobs and housing needed by Americans across Georgia.

The strong “invasion” rhetoric from Scott and Trump, so far, has had little impact on the swing voters needed by the GOP to win the election.
For example, just 37 percent of Americans trust the congressional GOP to handle immigration issues, even though 64 percent disapprove of Biden’s immigration policies, according to an ABC/Ipsos poll of 665 adults taken August 5-6. Twenty-nine percent of respondents trust neither congressional party, according to the poll.
One cause for the lackluster public response is that GOP politicians — including Trump — refuse to describe the pocketbook damage caused by Biden’s loose-border policies.
Instead, nearly all GOP politicians and pollsters prefer to portray the overall immigration issue as a non-economic problem of border chaos, crime, terror threats, and drugs.
For example, a new survey by Public Opinion Strategies — a GOP pollster — says that swing-voting independents are most concerned about inflation, housing prices, and strengthening the economy. But the June survey sidelined the immigration issue by defining it as a non-economic issue of “improving border security and enforcing tougher penalties on immigrants here illegally.”
But Biden’s easy-immigration policy is also a deeply damaging economic and pocketbook policy.
Each year roughly 4 million young Americans begin work and careers. But Biden and his allies have welcomed the inflow of roughly 2 million people across the southern border, alongside the annual inflow of roughly 1 million legal immigrants and a similar of visa workers. Overall, that adds up to at least one new migrant for every two Americans, each of whom will compete for the jobs, homes, and careers needed by Americans.
In practice, this means the federal government is tilting the economy and political concerns away from ordinary Americans, and towards coastal investors, political donors, Fortune 500 companies, and foreign migrants.
In his Saturday speech, Trump ignored the economic impact but played up the enormous and growing death toll of Biden’s border invitation:
Just last month, an illegal alien here in Texas was indicted for the cold-blooded murders of four elderly women throughout the state. And he’s been accused of links to the deaths of at least 24 people — 24 people — perhaps the deadliest serial killer in Texas history. They’re now saying he could be the deadliest serial killer — some illegal alien.
Earlier this year an illegal alien fugitive with a prior arrest for aggravated assault and many other arrests, viciously shot and killed a Harris County police officer at a traffic stop. No reason whatsoever. None.
And in New Mexico last year, an illegal-alien criminal out of jail on unsecured bond was charged with decapitating a man, mutilating his body, and kicking his head around like a soccer ball all over the public park … Never forget, every death at the hands of a criminal illegal alien is entirely preventable.
Trump also spotlighted the contrast between the extensive, expensive, and determined efforts by Biden’s people to bring migrants into the United States and the eagerness of the D.C. establishment to defend foreign borders:
There’s nobody has open borders — it makes no sense. You know, we fight and spend billions and billions and even trillions of dollars defending the borders of countries that are 7,000 miles away, but they don’t want to spend any money to defend our border. Makes no sense, does it?
Extraction Migration
Since at least 1990, the D.C. establishment has extracted tens of millions of legal and illegal migrants —plus temporary visa workers — from poor countries to serve as workers, managers , consumers, and renters for various U.S. investors and CEOs.
This half-hidden federal economic policy of Extraction Migration has tilted the free market toward investors and employers.
This labor inflation makes it difficult for ordinary Americans to get married, advance in their careers, raise families, or buy homes.
Extraction migration has also slowed innovation and shrunk Americans’ productivity, partly because it allows employers to boost stock prices by using cheap stoop labor instead of productivity-boosting technology .
Migration undermines employees’ workplace rights, and it widens the regional wealth gaps between the Democrats’ big coastal states and the Republicans’ heartland and southern states. The flood of cheap labor tilts the economy towards low-productivity jobs and has shoved at least ten million American men out of the labor force.
An economy built on extraction migration also drains Americans’ political clout over elites, alienates young people, and radicalizes Americans’ democratic civic culture because it allows wealthy elites to ignore despairing Americans at the bottom of society.

The economic policy is backed by progressives who wish to transform the U.S. from a society governed by European-origin civic culture into a progressive-directed empire of competitive, resentful identity groups. “We’re trying to become the first multiracial, multi-ethnic superpower in the world,” Rep. Rohit Khanna (D-CA) told the New York Times in March 2022. “It will be an extraordinary achievement … we will ultimately triumph,” he boasted.
The progressives’ colonialism-like economic strategy kills many migrants . It exploits the poverty of migrants and splits foreign families as it extracts human resources from poor home countries to serve wealthy U.S. investors. This migration policy also minimizes shareholder pressure on U.S. companies to build up beneficial and complementary trade with people in poor countries. Business-backed migration advocates hide this Extraction Migration economic policy behind a wide variety of noble-sounding explanations and theatrical border security programs . For example, progressives claim that the U.S. is a “Nation of Immigrants ,” that migration is good for migrants , and that the state must renew itself by replacing populations.
The polls show the public wants to welcome some immigration — but they also show deep and broad public opposition to labor migration and the inflow of temporary contract workers into jobs sought by young U.S. graduates.
This “Third Rail ” opposition is growing , anti-establishment , multiracial , cross-sex , non-racist , class-based , bipartisan , rational , persistent , and recognizes the solidarity that American citizens owe to one another.

These so-called undocumented immigrants are becoming legally indistinguishable from citizens as they openly reside in 500 sanctuary jurisdictions , receive welfare, education and medical care, are granted drivers licenses, and given tuition breaks at public universities as they, not legal immigrants or American citizens, are exempt from federal immigration, health and travel laws.

Senate Democrats blocked a measure to include in their “Inflation Reduction Act” which required President Joe Biden to preserve the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Title 42 authority at the United States-Mexico border.
In April, CDC officials announced that the Biden administration would end Title 42 authority at the southern border by May 23. The authority, first imposed by former President Trump in March 2020, allows Border Patrol agents to quickly return illegal aliens to Mexico.
The following month, Trump-appointed Judge Robert R. Summerhays ordered Biden to keep Title 42 in place while the issue makes its way through the federal courts. The Biden administration, though, has continued pushing to end Title 42.
Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) offered an amendment to the Democrats’ Inflation Reduction Act — passed on Sunday — that would have required Biden to keep Title 42 in place to help reduce record-breaking illegal immigration levels.
Despite Sens. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ), Joe Manchin (D-WV), Jon Tester (D-MT), Gary Peters (D-MI), Maggie Hassan (D-NH), Raphael Warnock (D-GA), Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV), Mark Kelly (D-AZ), and Chris Coons (D-DE) all previously claiming they opposed ending Title 42, they voted with all other Senate Democrats to block the amendment.
For months, the Biden administration had prematurely started winding down Title 42.
Without Title 42, Biden officials admit that up to half a million border crossers and illegal aliens — the equivalent of the resident population of Atlanta, Georgia — could arrive at the border every month.
Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) told Breitbart News that he would expect 30,000 border crossers and illegal aliens every day at the border without Title 42. In April, Breitbart News exclusively reported that up to 6,000 foreign nationals in Tijuana, Mexico, were waiting to rush the border when Title 42 ends.
The Biden administration’s plan for ending Title 42, which Breitbart News reported and published , details “broadscale release mechanisms” that transform the border into a mere checkpoint for foreign nationals arriving every day .

President Joe Biden’s border chief has opened a new route for the global migrants seeking jobs and housing in the United States.
The faster route uses boats to carry roughly 1,500 migrants per day from ports in Colombia around the deadly Darien Gap trail and up to ports in Panama, according to Todd Bensman, a former intelligence official who now works with the Center for Immigration Studies.
Bandits, floods, exhaustion, and accidents have killed thousands of global migrants on the Darien Gap trail as they walked through Panama’s jungles and mountains towards Biden’s welcome, said Bensman.
But the new boat-and-bus route will not prevent the death of many migrants as they travel from South America, the Caribbean, Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East to the United States, he said.
The best way to save lives is to persuade would-be economic migrants to stay at or near home, he said. “You can pretty much guarantee you’re saving lives and victimization if they’re staying home or staying in [safer] countries near their home countries,” he told Breitbart News.
Biden’s progressives deputies — led by border chief Alejandro Mayorkas — are opening the new routes to help more of those wishing to flee to the U.S., even for unidentifiable migrants who hide their real identity, he said, adding:
Their thesis is if you build a bridge [for migrants], and make it real nice so that everybody can come, that’s really the only way to save lives. [They argue that border] enforcement causes migrants to do dangerous things, so let’s not have any enforcement. Well, that’s just an untenable position to most Americans, even liberal Americans, to just have no enforcement.
Once the migrants are delivered to small ports further along Panama’s Caribbean coast, government-funded buses take them to towns in Panama. Many of the migrants rely on aid stations run by progressive groups — usually funded by the United Nations and the U.S. government — as they travel north through Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico.
If they reach the U.S. border, the vast majority of Darien Gap migrants are welcomed by Mayorkas’s deputies, and then released to U.S. employers who are eager to hire the desperate migrants instead of hiring better-paid Americans.
The new route opened after Mayorkas visited the Darien Gap area in April.
The new boat-and-bus route bypasses the worst section of the Darien Gap where hundreds or thousands of migrants — including many women and children — have been killed as they try to reach the U.S. prize dangled by Mayorkas and other progressives, said Bensman:
Prior to Biden, the majority of people who came to the Darien Gap, under 10,000 [a year], were young single men — strong and healthy, young single men. When Biden entered office, he started exempting families with young children from Title 42 and pregnant women and unaccompanied minors. So for the first time in the history of the [Darien] Gap, the majority of those who started coming through were women, unaccompanied minors, and families dragging little kids along. Those people then became prey to all of the dangers that adult young single strong men could withstand.
I’ve taken many reports myself of dead pregnant women, of … rotting corpses on the side of the trail … I interviewed a group of Senegalese [migrants] earlier this year, in Tapachula [Mexico] when I was down there. I asked them about the trip and they were all incredibly upset still–it only happened a week or two earlier. They came as a group of childhood friends, and as young adults, they said, “Let’s go on this grand adventure and go through the Darien Gap.” And on the Panamanian side, some bandits got to them and killed one of them. They showed me video on their phones — the bandits shot the guy in the back with a shotgun and killed him on the spot and they’re all trying to save him on the video. They were still just incredibly anxious and worked up over this.
I asked them, “Would you guys have all come had you not heard that Biden would let you over the border?”, and they said, “No, absolutely, we would not have come. We came because we knew we could get in under this President.” Then I said, “Well, so your friend would be alive today if President Biden had not been elected?” [They said;] “Yes, he’d be alive.”
The U.N. reported :
The people who used the route in 2021 were mainly from Haiti, Cuba, Bangladesh, India, Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone, Nepal, Ghana, and Senegal, as well as Venezuela and Colombia. During 2021, the predominant presence of people of Haitian origin was observed, reaching almost 75% of the total number of people in transit through Panama. The vast majority [of Haitians] correspond to secondary movements and come mainly from countries such as Chile and Brazil where they had temporarily resided.
Doctors Without Borders reported in August 2021 the murderous results of Mayorkas’ lure:
“I saw at least 10 dead bodies in the jungle,” recalls 19-year-old Angel. “But the worst is the people who get left behind—people who cannot climb the mountains or who slip in the rain and mud. It is a route where nobody waits. You see people sitting down, injured, who might have been there for days, waiting for death.”

“This is a nightmare with 1,001 demons,” says 40-year-old Oscar, who is from Colombia but was living in Bolivia. “I saw a child get dragged down the river when he let go of his parents’ hands. I have seen dead bodies, drowned, four of them. I have smelled corpses decomposing in the ravine.”
The off-the-books migration route is managed by Mayorkas.
He is a pro-migration zealot who is using federal money to operate new migration routes into U.S. jobs and homes, even though Congress has repeatedly rejected his demands for more legal migration. His deadly operation is conducted in tacit cooperation with the coyotes and cartels , even while Mayorkas and his allies also try to grab market share from the cartels.
The establishment U.S. media has whitewashed Biden’s deadly invite to the world’s poor. In October 2021, for example, the pro-migration New York Times delicately reported :
in the first nine months of this year, Panamanian officials say, an estimated 95,000 migrants , most of whom are Haitian, attempted the passage on their way to the United States.
They made the journey in shorts and flip-flops, their possessions stuffed in plastic bags, their babies in arms and their children by the hand. It’s uncertain how many made it — and how many didn’t. And yet tens of thousands more are gathered in Colombia, eager for their turn to try.
But the evidence strongly suggests that thousands of migrants have been killed by the progressive welcome offered by Biden, Mayorkas and their fellow progressives, Bensman said:
I’ve talked to journalists who live in the area, or who spent a lot of months in the area, who estimate that it’s between 5 percent and as high as 10 percent of everybody who came through that year. So if 130,000 came through [in 2021 ] — and they’re having another banner year this year — so you can guess 5,000, to 10,000, to 15,000 people, died in 2021 going through there.

GOP politicians are learning to criticize Biden and his deputies for the cruelty of their Extraction Migration economic policy:
“We’ve created a process for people to come here legally,” said Marco Rubio (R-FL), said July 13. But Biden and his deputies are inviting people to enter illegally, at enormous danger to Americans and migrants, he said, adding:
There’s nothing compassionate about luring people into a trip where rapists and murderers and the worst human beings on the planet get their clutches into them, and abuse them and their children, on women traveling alone. It’s a horrifying experience. There’s nothing compassionate about it.
“This is a human catastrophe,” said Sen. Todd Young (R-IN). “I’m persuaded this administration is not going to do anything about … this humanitarian situation until we make it hurt.”
Extraction Migration
Since at least 1990, the D.C. establishment has extracted tens of millions of legal and illegal migrants —plus temporary visa workers — from poor countries to serve as workers, managers , consumers, and renters for various U.S. investors and CEOs.
This half-hidden federal economic policy of Extraction Migration has tilted the free market toward investors and employers.
The inflationary policy makes it difficult for ordinary Americans to get married, advance in their careers, raise families, or buy homes.
Extraction migration has also slowed innovation and shrunk Americans’ productivity, partly because it allows employers to boost stock prices by using cheap stoop labor instead of productivity-boosting technology .
Migration undermines employees’ workplace rights, and it widens the regional wealth gaps between the Democrats’ big coastal states and the Republicans’ heartland and southern states. The flood of cheap labor tilts the economy towards low-productivity jobs and has shoved at least ten million American men out of the labor force.
An economy built on extraction migration also drains Americans’ political clout over elites, alienates young people, and radicalizes Americans’ democratic civic culture because it allows wealthy elites to ignore despairing Americans at the bottom of society.

The economic policy is backed by progressives who wish to transform the U.S. from a society governed by European-origin civic culture into a progressive-directed empire of competitive, resentful identity groups. “We’re trying to become the first multiracial, multi-ethnic superpower in the world,” Rep. Rohit Khanna (D-CA) told the New York Times in March 2022. “It will be an extraordinary achievement … we will ultimately triumph,” he boasted.
The progressives’ colonialism-like economic strategy kills many migrants . It exploits poor foreigners and splits foreign families as it extracts human resources from poor home countries to serve wealthy U.S. investors. This migration policy also minimizes shareholder pressure on U.S. companies to build up beneficial and complementary trade with people in poor countries. Business-backed migration advocates hide this Extraction Migration economic policy behind a wide variety of noble-sounding explanations and theatrical border security programs . For example, progressives claim that the U.S. is a “Nation of Immigrants ,” that migration is good for migrants , and that the state must renew itself by replacing populations.
The polls show the public wants to welcome some immigration — but they also show deep and broad public opposition to labor migration and the inflow of temporary contract workers into jobs sought by young U.S. graduates.
This “Third Rail ” opposition is growing , anti-establishment , multiracial , cross-sex , non-racist , class-based , bipartisan , rational , persistent , and recognizes the solidarity that American citizens owe to one another.

Lawmakers reveals shocking details of border crisis

Detroit Sector Border Patrol agents thwarted a human smuggling attempt on the St. Clair River that separates Canada and Michigan. The interdiction led to the apprehension of a man from the Dominican Republic and two women from Mexico.
Remote Video Surveillance System operators in Michigan observed a suspicious boat crossing along the St. Clair River near Algonac on August 2, according to information obtained from Border Patrol officials. Agents report the vessel was crossing the border river in a known human smuggling area.
The equipment operators contacted Border Patrol agents from the Marysville Station who responded to the area and found three people in the area of the last known sighting of the boat. The agents carried out an immigration interview during which the three migrants admitted to having illegally crossed from Canada into the United States. The agents arrested the three people and transported them to the station for processing.
During processing, the agents identified the migrants as a 53-year-old male from the Dominican Republic and two Mexican females, ages 25 and 26.
“Intercepting this was made possible by technology and the teamwork of our agents and support personnel. I am proud of the vigilance and dedication to duty displayed by the men and women of Detroit Sector,” Detroit Sector Chief Patrol Agent Robert Danley said in a written statement.
Officials did not disclose the status of the boat or any involved smugglers.

President Joe Biden’s Pentagon has refused a request from Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) to activate the National Guard to help the city deal with illegal immigration.
Last week, Bowser requested the Biden administration activate the D.C. National Guard as she said the city is at a “tipping point” with a surge of illegal immigration triggered by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s busing border crossers and illegal aliens to Democrat-run sanctuary cities.
According to Bowser, Abbott has sent more than 4,000 border crossers and illegal aliens to D.C. since April. On Friday, a Defense Department official confirmed to CNN that the federal agency had denied Bowser’s request to activate the D.C. National Guard.
CNN reports :
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin rejected the request because the Department of Defense has “determined providing this support would negatively impact the readiness of the DCNG and have negative effects on the organization and members,” the official said. [Emphasis added]
Abbott has invited Bowser, along with New York City Mayor Eric Adams, to visit the U.S.-Mexico border to witness firsthand the record level of illegal immigration that Texas must deal with as a result of Biden’s expansive Catch and Release operation that continues enticing thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens every day to the United States.
Most recently, Abbott said he was looking at expanding on the Democrat-run sanctuary cities that Texas will send border crossers and illegal aliens to not only include Washington, D.C. and New York City.
“We are helping out these small local communities by sending even more buses to these communities and putting these new migrants on the buses and sending them to Washington, D.C.,” Abbott said. “And we’re looking at other cities to send them to.”

The New York Times is blaming Republican governors for “causing havoc” by busing border crossers welcomed by the Biden administration to Democrat sanctuary cities.
As Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) and Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey (R) continue busing border crossers and illegal aliens to Democrat sanctuary cities, the Times published a piece titled “GOP Governors Cause Havoc by Busing Migrants to East Coast” where Republicans are seemingly blamed for President Joe Biden’s expansive Catch and Release operation.
The Times reports :
A political tactic by the governors of Texas and Arizona to offload the problems caused by record levels of migration at the border is beginning to hit home in Washington, as hundreds of undocumented migrants arriving on the governors’ free bus rides each week increasingly tax the capital’s ability to provide emergency food and housing. [Emphasis added]
With no money and no family to receive them, the migrants are overwhelming immigrant nonprofits and other volunteer groups, with many ending up in homeless shelters or on park benches . Five buses arrived on a recent day, spilling young men and families with nowhere to go into the streets near the Capitol. [Emphasis added]

About 15 faith and community-based groups in Washington have opened their doors to the migrants, offering them meals, showers and hygiene items during daylight hours. But the increase in the frequency of buses , from two to four a day to now sometimes eight, has depleted donations and exceeded capacity, and many volunteers have contracted Covid-19 , said Ms. Scherff. [Emphasis added]
As Breitbart News exclusively reported , migrant buses from Texas have started arriving at New York City’s Port Authority near the New York Times building. One bus that arrived on Friday was filled with mostly single male adults who have no ties to the United States.

Since April, for example, Abbott has sent over 6,200 border crossers and illegal aliens to Washington, D.C. Ducey has likewise sent about 1,000 since May. Compare that roughly 7,200 figure to the 7,100 border crossers and illegal aliens who inundate American border communities every day for months as a result of Biden’s Catch and Release agenda.
That operation has transformed the U.S.-Mexico border into a checkpoint for border crossers and illegal aliens where they are apprehended, briefly detained, and then sent on their way with work permits, and sometimes cellphones, into American communities.
Soon, the Biden administration will entice foreign nationals to make the often-deadly journey to the southern border by providing government-issued identification cards so they can more freely travel throughout the U.S. interior and access public benefits.
From February 2021 to May 2022, the Biden administration released over a million border crossers and illegal aliens into the U.S. interior. The administration has yet to reveal how many were released in June and July.

Exclusive Footage: Migrant Bus of Mostly Single Adult Men, Sent by Texas Gov. Abbott, Arrives in New York City 6:21
NEW YORK CITY — A bus filled with mostly single adult male migrants arrived at Port Authority in New York City from Texas Friday morning — where they were greeted by volunteers handing out burritos — as Gov. Greg Abbott (R) continues dispersing record-breaking numbers of border crossers and illegal aliens arriving in his state to Democrat-run “sanctuary cities.”
New York City officials appeared to be unprepared for the migrants’ arrival, or at least lacked communication and coordination to receive them, as Port Authority did not initially have a gate for the bus to park, and Port Authority employees were not aware of the plan for arrival. The bus circled between 8th and 9th avenues Friday morning until it was finally able to park at Gate 14 at approximately 7:30 a.m.
“Because of President Biden’s continued refusal to acknowledge the crisis caused by his open border policies, the State of Texas has had to take unprecedented action to keep our communities safe,” Gov. Abbott said in a statement.
“In addition to Washington, D.C., New York City is the ideal destination for these migrants, who can receive the abundance of city services and housing that Mayor Eric Adams has boasted about within the sanctuary city,” Abbott said. “I hope he follows through on his promise of welcoming all migrants with open arms so that our overrun and overwhelmed border towns can find relief.”
When the bus arrived, Breitbart News witnessed passengers disembarking after a 3-day journey from Texas, greeted by a handful of volunteers. One volunteer was wearing a “NYC immigration services” t-shirt, but there did not appear to be any city employees present.
The greeters handed migrants a bag bearing the logo of the humanitarian aid organization “Save the Children”; however, there appeared to be fewer than 10 children among the group, and no more than 5 women. The rest of the 60-some passengers on the bus were single males between the ages of 20 to 40 years old.
The volunteers led the group through Port Authority, corralled them into the entrance of the bus station and handed out burritos. Some migrants were provided rides to other locations, but it was unclear where.

One migrant, a man who said his name is Alfonzo and who arrived alone, told Breitbart News he traveled from Venezuela through Mexico into Texas, where he was put directly on the bus to New York City.
He left his wife and children in Chile and explained that he came alone to America first and planned to bring them later. He does not have any family or connections in the United States and does not speak English. He came with one bag containing some toiletries and a pillow, and had 130 U.S. dollars.
Alfonzo told Breitbart News that now was a good “opportunity” to come to the United States, explaining that he did not believe he would be admitted under former President Trump’s administration, specifically mentioning that the wall along the southern border was an obstacle to entry. He said locals in Mexico accepted money to direct him toward the border.
Alfonzo said he was looking for work, but had never been to New York City or the United States. He did not have a place to stay and was not informed of any lodging services or resources.
Despite Democrat officials’ support for illegal immigration through their expansive sanctuary city policies, which shield illegal aliens from arrest and deportation from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a handful have warned that the migrant buses from Texas will overwhelm their city’s public resources.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D), for instance, has pleaded with Biden for “additional federal resources immediately” to deal with the illegal immigration surge. In another statement, Adams told New Yorkers to get “on board” with having their city overrun with border crossers and illegal aliens arriving and straining infrastructure, hospitals, schools, and neighborhoods.

“… our schools are going to be impacted, our healthcare system is going to be impacted, our infrastructure is going to be impacted,” he continued.
Adams’ office claims the migrant buses’ being sent to New York City is akin to using border crossers and illegal aliens “as political pawns,” calling the policy “disgusting.”
Gov. Abbott has issued a public invitation to Mayor Adams to visit the southern border, insisting the “sanctuary city” mayor witness “the magnitude of chaos created by Biden’s open-border policies.”
“I really wish they would [visit] because public officials across the country, they do need to realize the magnitude of the chaos created by Biden’s open-border policies,” Abbott said on Fox News Thursday.
“They’re up in arms about a few thousand people coming into their communities over the past few months? Listen, in any one sector in the state of Texas, we have more than 5,000 people coming across in that sector every single day,” Abbott continued.
Similarly, Washington, DC, Mayor Muriel Bowser requested National Guard troops last month to deal with what she called a “humanitarian crisis” of just over 6,000 migrants being bused to the capital from Texas since April.
Mayor Bowser / Facebook Bowser, a staunch supporter of the region’s sanctuary city policy, claimed the migrant buses were a “tipping point” for Washington, DC, even as they pale in comparison to the level of illegal immigration that American border towns are forced to deal with under the Biden administration.
In Texas border towns alone, nearly 130,000 border crossers and illegal aliens were caught crossing the border in June. Most recently, in the small town of Normandy, Texas — with a population of just 29 residents — about 400 border crossers and illegal aliens crossed into the area this month.
