JOE BIDEN NAMES ANDREW CUOMO FOR ATTORNEY GENERAL - I LOVE MY CORRUPT LAWYERS! - I'M ONE MYSELF AND SO IS HUNTER!

BREAKING NEWS: Joe Biden considering Andrew Cuomo for Attorney General: NY Governor revealed to be on President-elect's shortlist for top job alongside Merrick Garland and Senator Doug Jones

  • Andrew Cuomo revealed to be on Biden's shortlist alongside Merrick Garland, Sally Yates and Senator Doug Jones
  • Biden is known to be fond of Cuomo, and the pair have been friends for decades
  • Cuomo previously served as New York State Attorney General from 2007 -2010
  • He also has experience serving in the federal government; he was Secretary of Housing and Urban Development during the Clinton Administration
  • However, its unclear whether Biden allies would be satisfied with Cuomo; Rev Al Sharpton is pushing Biden to choose a black Attorney General

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is one of several contenders under consideration by President-elect Joe Biden for the role of attorney general, a person with knowledge of the search process told the Associated Press on Friday.

The other three contender are reported to be outgoing Alabama Sen. Doug Jones, federal appeals court judge Merrick Garland and former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates,

The Associated Press reported earlier in the week that Jones, who lost his Senate seat last month, and Garland, who was spurned by Republicans four years ago for a spot on the Supreme Court, had emerged as the two front-runners in the search process.

However, Biden and Cuomo have known one another for decades, and the President-elect is said to be extremely fond of the New York Governor.

Spokespeople for Cuomo did not immediately return emails seeking comment Friday.

It was not clear to what extent the disclosure this week that federal prosecutors were investigating the finances of Biden's son, Hunter, might have scrambled the attorney general search process since the person who is ultimately picked would inherit the probe, assuming it remains active next month.

It was also not immediately clear how seriously Cuomo was being considered or how any nomination of him would be greeted by either Republicans, given Cuomo's antagonistic relationship with President Donald Trump, or by civil rights activists who have encouraged Biden to build a diverse cabinet.

Rev. Al Sharpton, who was among advocates who met with Biden on Tuesday on the subject of diversity and civil rights, told reporters he had encouraged Biden to select a black attorney general but gave him room to select someone of another race as long as they had a background in civil rights.

Cuomo has been asked in recent weeks about his interest in the attorney general spot. Just this week, he said in a public radio interview in New York, 'I have no intention to run for president or vice president, or go to the administration.'

However, he said the attorney general job 'is really critical, especially now.'

A former state attorney general and Housing and Urban Development secretary in the Clinton administration, Cuomo has been governor of New York since 2011 and has been the public face of the state's response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Bailout Bill

Mayor de Blasio can’t conceive of solutions to New York City’s problems that don’t involve massive federal assistance.December 11, 2020
New York
Politics and law
Economy, finance, and budgets

New York mayor Bill de Blasio remains unable to conceive of any real solution to the city’s bleak fiscal and economic position short of a massive bailout from the federal government—ideally in conjunction with a massive tax hike on the rich.

“Obviously, the number-one thing we’re fighting for is a stimulus,” de Blasio told business owners in an address to the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. As a measure of how few solutions he has to offer, he reviewed the kinds of bailouts that the government might provide, and in what priority he’d prefer them. “I think a stimulus should absolutely involve direct relief for small business,” he said. “I think that’s going to be tough to achieve perhaps in the first stimulus, the one that’s being debated right now. I think there could be some, but probably limited. I think the bigger question is when President Biden comes into office with a goal of a much more substantial stimulus, how we can all work together to push for a much more real direct relief to small business to tide folks over.”

The mayor’s zeal for federal help stands in sharp contrast with his apparent indifference to doing what only New York can do for itself—make its own business climate more promising, starting with restoring public order. In September, the Partnership for New York City, also representing local business interests, albeit on a larger scale than the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, sent de Blasio a letter expressing concern about the city’s apparent lack of determination to get the economy humming again, and noting the deterioration of public order on streets and subways. The Partnership suggested that the mayor’s failure to address “concerns about security and the livability of our communities” would undermine New York’s position as “a thriving global center of commerce, innovation and opportunity.”

When asked for a response to the letter, de Blasio deflected its main point, instead calling on the Partnership to “use your power and influence in Albany to help us get long-term borrowing. You say you want to help New York City recover, the thing we need immediately is the long-term borrowing capacity so that we can, in fact, bring back some of the services that have been cut back because of the fiscal crisis.” De Blasio’s request for borrowing power—essentially, to issue debt to fund operations—absent strict financial controls or the implementation of a real savings plan would be tantamount to giving a compulsive spender a new credit card.

De Blasio simply cannot be trusted to borrow responsibly. In seven years as mayor, he has expanded city government broadly, increasing spending at three times the rate of inflation. And what are the “services that have been cut back because of the fiscal crisis?” The mayor has not laid off a single city employee; on the contrary, he has made it clear that he intends to preserve every municipal job, even though laying off workers in April would have shifted them onto the federal rolls at a time when Washington had made available trillions of dollars of support for the newly unemployed.

The mayor’s other solution to closing the city’s $9 billion loss in revenue is a massive tax hike on the wealthy, who “have literally gotten richer while everyone else is suffering.” He also calls for a “reconsideration” of the city’s inert stock transfer tax, which levies a small fee on every stock transaction but has been fully rebated since 1981.

De Blasio is incapable of recognizing that old ways of doing business may be gone for good. Goldman Sachs Asset Management has announced that it will relocate to Florida, which could mean hundreds, or possibly thousands, of high-paying jobs leaving the New York region. NASDAQ and the NYSE have indicated that they would be willing to leave the area, too, if stock transfer taxes are imposed in New Jersey. “Proximity to New York City is no longer relevant in today’s trading environment,” said Hope Jarkowski, a top NYSE executive.

More than 300,000 New York City households have filed change-of-address forms with the Post Office indicating out-of-state destinations. Many more are eyeing the exits. The mayor can bluster about how tough “real” New Yorkers are, but real New Yorkers are also unsentimental and willing to cut their losses. Given de Blasio’s unwillingness to face these realities, it will likely fall to a new mayor to stem New York’s slide.

Former Cuomo staffer says the New York governor sexually harassed her 'for years'

  • A woman who was once an advisor to Andrew Cuomo said the New York governor sexually harassed her for years.

  • "Yes, @NYGovCuomo sexually harassed me for years," said Lindsey Boylan, who worked for him between 2015 and 2018.

  • Boylan, who is a Democratic candidate for Manhattan Borough President, was an aide to Cuomo, as well as the deputy secretary for economic development, according to her LinkedIn profile.

  • In a series of tweets last week, Boylan called Cuomo's office the "most toxic team environment," saying that people don't come forward because they're afraid of the repercussions.

  • Visit Business Insider's homepage for more stories.

A former aide to Gov. Andrew Cuomo said in a tweet on Sunday that the New York official sexually harassed her for years while she was employed in his office.

"Yes, @NYGovCuomo sexually harassed me for years," said Lindsey Boylan, who worked for the governor between 2015 and 2018. Boylan was an advisor to Cuomo, as well as the deputy secretary for economic development, according to her LinkedIn profile.

"Many saw it, and watched. I could never anticipate what to expect: would I be grilled on my work (which was very good) or harassed about my looks. Or would it be both in the same conversation?" she tweeted. "This was the way for years."

"Not knowing what to expect what's the most upsetting part aside from knowing that no one would do a damn thing even when they saw it," she added. "No one. And I *know* I am not the only woman."

In a series of tweets last week, Boylan called Cuomo's office the "most toxic team environment," saying that people don't come forward because they're afraid of the repercussions.

"If people weren't deathly afraid of him, they'd be saying the same thing and you'd already know the stories," she said, adding that she's heard from others who've said similar things about working for him. Boylan did not give any names or more specific information last week when she called the office "toxic."

Boylan said she goes to therapy to work out the trauma she's experiencing from her three years in the governor's office.

Around the same time that Boylan worked for Cuomo, the lowest-paying jobs at his office belonged largely and disproportionately to women, according to a 2015 investigation done by Politico. Cuomo at the time had 96 women working in his office who had the lowest-paying jobs, while 52 men occupied the highest-paid positions with the most decision-making power.

In her former role, Boylan wrote on her website that she "worked on some of the biggest issues facing New Yorkers, from helping to pass $15 minimum wage and paid family leave to developing workforce programs, creating jobs, and investing in small businesses."

"I've worked hard my whole life. Hustled - fake it till you make it style," she tweeted last week. "That environment is beyond toxic. I'm still unwrapping it years later in therapy!"

Cuomo, part of a longstanding New York political family - his father, the late Gov. Mario Cuomo, served for three terms, from 1983 to 1994 - was first elected governor in 2010 and is currently in his third term. Before his election as governor, he was the US Secretary of Housing and Urban Development from 1997 to 2001 under then-President Bill Clinton and served as New York's Attorney General from 2007 to 2010.

Recent speculation has swirled around Cuomo possibly joining President-elect Joe Biden's administration as attorney general, a prospect that Boylan firmly warned against.

"There are fewer things more scary than giving this man, who exists without ethics, even more control," she wrote on Twitter. "I saw how he wielded power for years. He takes advantage of people, including me. I hope ⁦@JoeBiden⁩ & ⁦⁦@KamalaHarris⁩ don't do this."

Cuomo, who had received widespread praise this year for his coronavirus response, has touted himself as a progressive governor, pushing for the advancement of women. In January 2020, the governor signed a bill requiring an investigation of the number of women sitting on domestic and foreign boards that do business in New York.

"From new pay equity laws to strongest-in-the-nation sexual harassment policies, New York is leading the fight for gender equality in the workplace - but our work won't be done until women are better represented at the highest levels of organizations," Cuomo said when he signed the legislation.

In October 2015 - during the time of Boylan's tenure at the governor's office - Cuomo signed a $6.4 million legislation for a sexual assault prevention and assistance plan.

"This State has a legacy of leading the way in advancing equal rights - and today, we are making New York a model of equality for women," he said in the press release announcing the effort.

In 2014, Cuomo referred to himself as a feminist

Cuomo's office did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Business Insider.

Without naming anyone, Boylan suggested there are others who have also experienced and witnessed Cuomo sexually harassing office workers. By engaging in this culture of sexual harassment against women, she said, Cuomo abuses his power.

"I'm angry to be put in this situation at all. That because I am a woman, I can work hard my whole life to better myself and help others and yet still fall victim as countless women over generations have. Mostly silently. I hate that some men, like @NYGovCuomo abuse their power."

Boylan did not respond to Business Insider's requests for an interview. After Business Insider asked for comment, Boylan tweeted that she's not interested "in talking to journalists."

"I am about validating the experience of countless women and making sure abuse stops," adding that the experiences are difficult to relive and talk about.

This past June, Boylan ran for Congress against House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler in the Democratic primary for New York's 10th Congressional district. Nadler, who has served in House of Representatives since 1992, won the primary with 68% of the vote; Boylan came in second place, securing 22% of the vote.

Boylan recently joined the 2021 race for Manhattan borough president, where she hopes to succeed two-term incumbent Gale Brewer, who is term-limited. If she can win the Democratic primary, she'll advance to the November election, where New Yorkers will also be choosing a new mayor to succeed Bill de Blasio, who is also term-limited.

On her Twitter page, she wrote that she was running for the borough presidency "to create a more equitable, sustainable, and livable city."

She added: "Although we have many challenges ahead, I know that we can meet those challenges together and create lasting change for our city. Join me on this journey!"

THE SWAMPS' BIDEN BOYS - It Looks Like Hunter 'Forgot' to Report This Huge Payday from Burisma on His Taxes

Hunter Biden Email: Joe Biden, Chinese Business Partner Are ‘Office Mates’

An email reportedly from the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop called his father, former Vice President Joe Biden, and a Chinese business partner “new office mates.”

The email, reported by the Daily Caller News Foundation, was sent on September 21, 2017, by Hunter Biden to Cecilia Browning, the manager of the “House of Sweden” office building:

“Please have keys made available for new office mates,” Hunter Biden wrote, and listed several individuals:

  • Joe Biden
  • Jill Biden
  • Jim Biden, Joe Biden’s brother
  • Gongwen Dong (Chairman Ye CEFC emissary), referring to the Chinese oil company. Ye is Ye Jianming, the founder of CEFC China Energy Company Limited.

Hunter Biden indicated he wanted the signage to reflect the link between the Biden Foundation and “Hudson West,” which was affiliated with the Chinese communist energy entity.

The Daily Caller News Foundation reported:

Hunter Biden’s dealings with CEFC in 2017 were at the center of allegations from his ex-business partner, Tony Bobulinksi, who said in October that Joe Biden was “plainly familiar” with his family’s business dealings in China. Bobulinski was one of the recipients of the much-publicized May 2017 email purportedly referencing Joe Biden as the “big guy” who would hold 10% in a joint-venture deal with Hunter Biden and CEFC.

During the campaign, Joe Biden lashed out at questions about his son’s business dealings.

In October, WYOU reporter Andy Mehalshick began, “Questions and controversy continue today about Hunter Biden, your son” before Biden cut him off:

“There is no controversy,” he snapped. “That’s all a lie.”

“It’s a flat lie because the president has nothing else to run on. If you noticed, while the American people are talking about what’s happening to their families, he has no plan, and at the debate, he has no plan,” Biden said.

“Everything from Wall Street Journal, other major news outlets said what he is saying is simply not true about my son, but it’s classic Trump,” he claimed.

JOE BIDEN SUCKS OFF THE BRIBES

Senate Republicans have pledged to continue investigating the matter once the new Congress opens session in January. Of particular interest for some congressional watchdogs are allegations, first reported by Breitbart News in October, that a top official from a Chinese energy firm offered to provide the Biden “family” a $5 million non-secured, forgivable loan.

NBC News of all places is reporting on an email that Hunter Biden received in 2017 from Eric Schwerin, then president of Rosemont Seneca Partners. The email makes mention of some $400,000 Hunter Biden received from Burisma Holdings and failed to report on his tax returns. Apparently, the mainstream media no longer thinks the emails are "Russian disinformation" now that the election is over.

(Via NBC NEWS

“In 2014 you joined the Burisma board and we still need to amend your 2014 returns to reflect the unreported Burisma income,” says the email dated Jan. 16, 2017.

The email goes on to note that Hunter Biden, who is now the subject of a federal tax probe, netted more than $1.2 million for the year. The earnings include the $400,000 from Burisma as well as income from Rosemont Seneca Advisors and a legal firm.

The email was made available by Rudy Giuliani’s attorney Robert Costello. Costello has said he was given a copy of one of Hunter Biden’s hard drives from the owner of a computer repair shop in Delaware.

NBC News did not have access to the full drive. It is not known what, if any, action Hunter Biden took in response to the email.

The Biden-Harris transition team revealed earlier this week that Hunter Biden was the subject of an ongoing criminal investigation centered around his tax returns. In response to the news, Joe Biden said he's proud of his son.

Joe Biden has come to count on his liberal allies in the mainstream media and big tech suppressing damaging news for him, but that may be changing now that protecting Biden is no longer about stopping a second Trump term. Let's face it. The media would love to call Kamala president.

The Hunter Biden laptop unrolls two ragged threads. One is the descent of Joe Biden’s son into new depths of depravity and the other are the foreign investors who bought into Joe Biden Inc.

If they can buy an election for Biden, the theory is, they can buy it for anyone.

Oligarchies always have lots of money even when workers go hungry and lose their homes. And they get that money by seizing the centers of power and consuming the wealth of nations.

GOP Senators Plan to Continue Probe into Hunter Biden’s Dealings

At least two high-ranking Republican senators plan to continue investigating Hunter Biden’s business dealings even should his father, former Vice President Joe Biden, take office in January.

Sens. Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Chuck Grassley (R-IA), who authored a report earlier this year detailing the potential conflicts of interest between Hunter Biden’s foreign ties and his father’s political influence, will keep pursuing the matter after the new Congress takes office next year.

Johnson, who currently chairs the Senate’s Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, has begun telling news outlets that he will not “turn a blind eye” to recent revelations about the Biden family just because the 2020 election had passed.

“Tony Bobulinski coming forward, the computer being revealed, the FBI possibly starting an investigation,” Johnson told the Hill over the weekend. “We had a hard enough time getting what evidence we got to even write a report, and then all of a sudden our report sort of opened up this logjam.”

“I’m very confident there are probably more financial transactions that will probably be revealed,” the senator added.

Similarly, Grassley, who currently chairs the Senate Finance Committee, has asked the Department of Justice (DOJ) in recent days to make public any documents pertaining to Hunter Biden’s overseas interest. The Iowa lawmaker, specifically, has asked Attorney General William Barr whether any member of the Biden family sought guidance on whether their international business ventures complied with the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).

Although both Grassley and Johnson are set to leave their current chairmanships in January, they plan to continue looking into the Biden family from other perches within the United States Senate.

Provided that Republicans retain control of the chamber, Johnson will use his position as the incoming chairman of the Homeland Security Committee’s permanent subcommittee on investigations to keep his probe going. Grassley, likewise, will rely on his status as the incoming chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Last month, Tony Bobulinski, a one-time business associate of Hunter Biden, came forward to accuse the former vice president of lying about his involvement in his son’s dealings. Bobulinski claims that he met the Bidens in 2017 and became involved in a venture with Hunter and the former vice president’s younger brother, James.

Since coming forward, Bobulinski has agreed to cooperate with the Homeland Security Committee. Bobulinksi also told the Sinclair Broadcast Group in late-October that he was interviewed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) regarding Hunter’s tenure on the board of directors of Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian natural gas conglomerate.

JOE BIDEN'S TOXIC SWAMP COMES TO TOWN - Joe Biden Names Susan Rice to WH Despite Record of Lying, Failure

Pollak: Joe Biden Names Susan Rice to WH Despite Record of Lying, Failure

Former Vice President Joe Biden named Susan Rice to lead his White House Domestic Policy Council on Friday, despite her long history of failure and her record of lying to the American people.

Rice has no experience in domestic policy. She has extensive experience in foreign policy, however — almost all of it bad.

In President Bill Clinton’s administration, Rice tried to keep the U.S. from intervening in the Rwandan genocide, and then tried to cover up the president’s inaction.

Moreover, as Breitbart News has previously noted, “Rice also defended the Clinton administration’s initial refusal to provide cheaper HIV/Aids drugs to Africa, and opposed efforts to work with the Sudanese government when it was prepared to hand over a terrorist named Osama bin Laden.”

She was a foreign policy adviser to then-Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) during his first presidential campaign, famously lying about the fact that her candidate had promised to meet with enemy leaders “without preconditions” (he did so during a 2007 debate). Obama elevated her to the position of UN Ambassador, where she compounded dishonesty with mismanagement.

As Breitbart News has noted:

Frequently absent from meetings, Rice also attacked Israel but tolerated Iran. She opposed scrutiny of human rights abuses in the Democratic Republic of Congo, but enthusiastically supported the UN Human Rights Council, a discredited club of dictators obsessively focused on condemning Israel. Her office enthusiastically complained to the council about supposed abuses in the U.S., such as Arizona’s immigration law.

In her role as UN Ambassador, Rice infamously led the Obama administration’s effort to cover up its failures during the Benghazi terror attack in September 12, blaming an obscure anti-Muslim YouTube video rather than Islamic terrorists.

That episode doomed her prospects to survive Senate confirmation, were Obama to have nominated her to be Secretary of State in his second term.

Instead, he made her National Security Advisor, where she presided over major failures, allowing Russia to seize Crimea and pursuing a flawed nuclear deal with Iran that encouraged the regime’s regional aggression.

On her way out of office in 2017, Rice was deeply involved in the Obama administration’s efforts to undermine the incoming Trump administration. She helped “unmask” the names of Trump aides in intelligence reports, and later lied about it.

She was present at a key Oval Office meeting in January 2017 when the investigation of incoming National Security Advisor Michael Flynn was discussed (so, too, was Vice President Biden). Though the FBI knew by then that Flynn was innocent, the Obama administration allowed the inquiry to continue.

Rice later tried to cover up the Obama administration’s involvement by writing a memo on her last day in office in which she insisted that President Obama wanted everything done “by the book.”

On Friday, Biden promised that Rice would “elevate and turbocharge” the Domestic Policy Council, but he did not explain what qualifications, if any, she had for that specific role.

In accepting her appointment, Rice talked about her family background, and the achievements of her forebears. But she added: “Today, for far too many, the American dream has become an empty promise, a cruel mockery of lives held back by barriers, new and old.”

Why does someone with contempt for America want to govern it?

There is hardly anyone in America with a worse public record of failure, dishonesty, and conniving than Susan Rice. She has no place in the Biden administration — or any administration.

Former National Security Advisor Susan Rice will formally leave her post on the Netflix board next month to join Joe Biden’s administration, with Netflix chairman and co-CEO Reed Hastings thanking Rice for her “service.”

“We are grateful to Susan Rice for her many contributions on our board and congratulate her on her return to public service,” Hastings said following reports of Biden selecting Rice to head the Domestic Policy Council.

Rice, who joined the Netflix board in 2018, will be leaving January 20, according to Deadline.

The former Obama administration official sparked suspicions in August after selling a sizeable portion of her Netflix shares as Biden continued his search for a running mate, though he ultimately chose Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA). However, a representative at the time claimed that Rice’s move had “nothing to do” with Biden or his campaign.

“Ambassador Rice’s sale of a fraction of her Netflix stock has nothing to do with V.P. speculation,”  Rice spokesperson Erin Pelton said in a statement. “She filed a stock plan pursuant to SEC regulations over three months ago.”

“She will coordinate the formulation and implementation of President-elect Biden’s domestic policy agenda to build back better,” Biden’s team stated, describing Rice as a “deeply experienced, talented negotiator.”

In a statement, the former vice president said his selection of Rice is aimed to bring “the highest level of experience, compassion, and integrity” to his administration.

Rice, as well as the Obamas, were among those who remained relatively silent in the thick of the controversy over Netflix’s Cuties, a French drama critics say is rife with the sexualization of pre-pubescent children.

Big Tech executives will be the “most notable billionaire winners” of the presidential election if former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) are sworn in as president and vice president in January 2021, according to Forbes.

If Biden takes office, four billionaires will have come out on top as a result of their quest to unseat President Donald Trump, according to Forbes. Three of those billionaires are from Silicon Valley, California’s tech industry where a handful of multinational corporations have monopolized power.

Forbes notes:

Dustin Moskovitz: Mark Zuckerberg’s college roommate, the Facebook and Asana cofounder spent big to fight Trump. He gave more than $800,000 to Biden and made a $20 million-plus donation to Future Forward, a super-PAC that shelled out $100 million to fund a last-minute TV ad blitz attacking Trump. “It’s raining in San Francisco, which is actually just perfect,” Moskovitz tweeted the day after Biden was named the victor. “5 star weekend.”

Reid Hoffman: The LinkedIn cofounder was one of Biden’s top fundraisers, helping the former vice president haul in record sums for his campaign. Hoffman himself gave more than $12 million this cycle, including at least $500,000 to Biden and $1.5 million to Unite The Country, a pro-Biden super-PAC. He told Axios in the days before the election that he would put $1 million into a digital ad campaign urging voters to be patient as votes are counted. Ahead of the 2016 election, Hoffman trolled Trump with his own Cards Against Humanity-style game called “Trumped Up Cards.”

Reed Hastings & Patty Quillin: The Netflix cofounder and co-CEO and his wife, Patty Quillin, reportedly co-hosted a fundraiser for Pete Buttigieg in December 2019 but ended up giving at least $1.4 million to Biden. Quillin was also one of the biggest political donors to California propositions this year. She put $2 million into opposing Proposition 20, which would have made it more difficult for convicted felons to qualify for early parole. It was struck down by voters. She put a quarter-million dollars into supporting Proposition 17, giving parolees in the state the right to vote, which won.

The other billionaire set to win big if Biden is sworn into office is former hedge fund executive Jim Simons who is worth more than $23 billion and who spent more than $20 million to defeat Trump.

Biden’s choice to make Harris his running mate elated not only Wall Street, but also Silicon Valley as she represents their interests in the United States Senate and has close family connections to tech executives. Harris’ brother-in-law is the chief legal officer for Uber, the ride-sharing corporation that has become a billion-dollar business by shifting most of the risk to its drivers.

In his transition, Biden has reportedly stacked positions with special interests from Big Tech. Most recently, the former vice president announced that former Obama official Susan Rice would become head of his Domestic Policy Council. Rice currently sits on the board of Netflix.

Big Tech and Big Law dominate Biden transition teams, tempering progressive hopes

"Along with Obama (LAWYER) Biden (LAWYER), Pelosi and Schumer (LAWYER) are responsible for incalculable damage done to this country over the eight years of that administration."       PATRICIA McCARTHY

Add the Banksters’ rent boy Eric Holder (LAWYER) and the up and coming Swamp Empress Kamala Harris (LAWYER, SO IS HER SHADY HUSBAND)…but keep counting….(LAWYER) Brian Deese, Obama-Biden’s loot-for-Wall Street guy.

Hauser also didn’t like the prevalence of Big Law talent on the Department of Justice team, which signaled to him that the Biden administration could go soft on corporate malefactors.

BIDEN’S WALL STREET CABINET: EXPECT BOTTOMLESS BAILOUTS NEXT!

Biden administration will be committed to austerity and back-to-work campaign aimed at forcing workers to pay for the corporate bailout no matter how many lives are needlessly lost to the pandemic.

The selection of Deese and Adeyemo—who both previously served in the Obama administration—exemplifies the revolving door between Wall Street and Washington, DC, which operates constantly, regardless of which party controls the White House.

It is a further signal to the financial oligarchy that a Biden administration will dispense with its rhetoric about raising taxes on the wealthy and continue funneling trillions into the stock markets. “By picking folks with deep ties to large asset managers,” Tyler Gellasch, executive director of investor trade group Healthy Markets Association, told the Journal, “the administration can help assuage financial executives’ concerns. It sends a clear signal to the industry to breathe easier: They can plan for stability without likely facing massive new regulatory or tax risks.”
