Fact Check: Joe Biden Claims He Could Not Afford Child Care as a U.S. Senator
CLAIM: President Joe Biden claimed that he “could not afford child care … as a United States Senator” in 1973.
VERDICT: PROBABLY FALSE. Biden was a high earner and his sister, Valerie, moved in to take care of his two sons.
Biden told House Democrats Friday at their annual retreat that after his wife and daughter were killed in a car accident shortly after he was elected to the U.S. Senate, he commuted daily between Wilmington, Delaware, and Washington, DC, because he could not afford the cost of child care.
He made that point as a way of arguing for his proposal to cap child care expenses at 7% of income for individuals making less than $100,000, or families earning less than $120,000 annually.
“I did over 2 million some miles on Amtrak. But here’s the deal: I did it because I could not afford child care. I couldn’t even begin to think of it. And I was making, I was making at that time, as a United States Senator, I was making more money than I made before. I couldn’t afford it.”
Biden’s claim is probably false, as his Senate salary placed him among the country’s elite earners. Moreover, he wrote in his biography, Promises to Keep, that his sister, Valerie, moved in with him to help take care of his sons.
Biden has made this claim before. He did so, for example, in a Democratic Party presidential primary debate in Iowa in January 2020. The Washington Free Beacon noted at the time:
“I was a single parent, too,” Biden said when asked about universal childcare. “When my wife and daughter were killed, my two boys I had to raise. I was a senator, a young senator, I just hadn’t been sworn in yet. And I was making $42,000 a year.”
“I commuted every single solitary day to Wilmington, Delaware … 250 miles a day,” the former vice president continued. “Because I could not afford, but for my family, childcare. It was beyond my reach to be able to do it.”
While living on $42,000 would place Biden in the bottom half of U.S. households in today’s dollars, it placed him firmly among the richest Americans when he was sworn in as senator in 1973. Biden’s freshman Senate salary of $42,500 would be the equivalent of $256,370.77 in 2019 dollars, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics inflation calculator.
In a 1981 op-ed for the Salisbury, Md, newspaper the Daily Times titled “Congress is supporting deterioration of family,” Biden even argued that families in his income bracket were precisely the sort who did not need the federal government’s help providing for their childcare.
Biden made the claim again last year:
During a speech in Connecticut, Biden said his past and how he “could not afford the child care” on a senator’s salary, forcing him to commute daily between Washington and Delaware. “It made me realize how difficult it is for the vast majority of people who need help,” Biden said at the child care centre in the state capital Hartford.
The actual cost of child care at the time, according to a Senate study published in October 1974, was between $1,245 and $2,320. It is hard to understand how Biden would have been unable to afford that; it was, at most, 5.5% of his income.
In his biography, Biden does not mention the cost of health care for his surviving children, Beau and Hunter. Instead, he notes that his sister, moved in with his sons. He did, in fact, commute daily between Wilmington and Washington — for the understandable reason that he wanted to reassure them, after the loss of their mother, that he was coming home at night.
Moreover, he mentioned in his biography that he was “doing just fine” maintaining his household on his Senate salary (94).
So while it is theoretically possible that Biden is telling the truth, it is highly unlikely that he is doing so. Instead, he is exploiting and exaggerating a personal tragedy for political purposes — something he has developed a habit of doing.

GOP Rep. Jackson: Joe Biden ‘Needs to Resign,’ ‘Not Cognitively Capable of Leading’
Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), who served as White House physician during the Obama and Trump administrations, is calling for President Joe Biden to resign, noting he is “not cognitively capable of leading.”
“Biden doesn’t know what’s going on with Ukraine. He doesn’t know what’s going on with ANYTHING!” Jackson tweeted Friday. “He’s not cognitively capable of leading. He needs to RESIGN before our country suffers any more.”
On February 8, Jackson, who has been calling for Biden to undergo a cognitive assessment since last year, penned a letter to Biden demanding he take a cognitive test over fears that he may have Alzheimer’s Disease, Breitbart News reported. The letter was signed by 37 of his fellow Republican lawmakers.
The next day, Jackson appeared on Fox Business Network’s Varney & Company and reaffirmed his stance that Biden is mentally unfit to serve as President, Breitbart News reported.
Jackson said then:
I was at the White House during the Bush administration, the Obama administration, and the Trump administration. I was there for 14 years as the White House physician. I know exactly what it takes mentally and physically to do that job, and I think it’s on full display for everybody in the country and everybody in this world to see right now that President Biden does not have the cognitive ability to do his job right now. He’s continued to get worse and worse.
Jackson continued, highlighting his previous calls for an assessment, noting that the precedent was set when President Trump underwent cognitive testing following outcries from the leftwing media:
I sent a letter back in June of last year requesting that he have a cognitive test done as part of his annual physical exam. This was before he had his physical exam done. He recently had his physical exam done; there was no mention whatsoever of any cognitive testing. And I remind everybody that we did this with President Trump. We set the precedent. We did this because of the outcry from the liberal media and from mainstream media, and from the far left that the president should have a cognitive test as part of his evaluation. The precedent has been set. And President Biden needs to step up to the plate, he needs to have this test done, and they need to provide these results to the American people so we can have trust and confidence that he’s capable.
Jackson spoke with Fox News Digital in an article published on February 23 – the day before Russia invaded Ukraine. Jackson told the outlet that Biden’s mental acuity “was on full display during the debacle in Afghanistan” and cautioned Biden is “going to get more Americans killed” and “ultimately get us in a war because of his lack of leadership.”
Jackson’s call for Biden’s resignation comes as a Politico/Morning Consult poll revealed less than 25 percent of Americans strongly believe Biden to be mentally fit, healthy, and stable, Breitbart News reported Tuesday. “The Politico poll sampled 2005 registered voters from March 4-6 with a margin of error of + / – 2 percentage points,” Breitbart News noted.

The American people remain stubbornly ungrateful for the Biden economy.
The University of Michigan’s survey of consumer sentiment showed that Americans feel more rotten about the economy than any time since the summer of 2011. The composite index of consumer sentiment fell to 59.7, even lower than the depressed figures for January and February. Economists were once again proven too optimistic as they had estimated a reading of 61.7.
What exactly was going on in 2011 that had Americans feeling so glum? Consumer sentiment had been on a bumpy path upward since the lows of early 2009 and the worst moments of the global financial crisis. Unemployment was still riding high, wages were stagnant, and a protracted debate over raising the U.S. government debt ceiling made it clear that any government aid was exhausted. Sixty-one percent of people said they disapproved of President Barack Obama’s job performance.
“Never before in the history of the surveys have so many consumers spontaneously mentioned negative aspects of the government’s role,” survey director Richard Curtin said in a statement back in 2011.
The current decline is due primarily to inflation. Consumer expectations for inflation rose to their highest level since 1981 in the survey. A record number of households expect their financial situation to worsen over the coming year because of inflation. Thursday’s Consumer Price Index report showed inflation running at 7.9 percent, the highest since 1982, with no sign of slowing down. If anything, inflation is likely to pick up thanks to soaring oil and record-high gas prices.
The economy and inflation are now far and away the most important issue for Americans, even with the war in Ukraine raging. Fifty percent of Americans say it is the primary issue elected official in Washington, D.C., need to address, double that of the issue of Ukraine, which is in second place, according to a Wall Street Journal poll released Friday.
Biden, however, is flunking the exam. Sixty-five percent of Americans say the economy is headed in the wrong direction, and 60 percent say the state of the economy is poor or not so good. Sixty-three percent disapprove of the president’s handling of the issue of inflation and rising prices, including 54 percent who strongly disapprove.
You would have to be churlish to give too much blame to President Joe Biden for being fed up with a public that just will not show him the admiration Jen Psaki tells him he so richly deserves. “I’m sick of this stuff,” Biden said Friday. “The American people think the reason for inflation is the government spending more money. Simply. Not. True.”
Got that, America? However much you disapprove of the job Biden is doing on inflation, he disapproves of the job you are doing with inflation even more. It’s no doubt frustrating for the president that the founding fathers, in an obvious oversight, provided for the people to vote politicians out of office rather than the other way around.
Biden’s America: The inmates are running the asylum
How does one sanely describe what has happened to the United States since Joe Biden was inaugurated? The nation has been effectively ruined by the policies of Biden’s band of incompetents; every cabinet member is a disaster, promoted for their previous record of failure. Not one of them is qualified for the jobs they’ve been given. They were each chosen for precisely the wrong reason – their race, gender or leftist/green activism.
Consider Jennifer Granholm as Energy Secretary. She is inexplicably ignorant about energy, where it comes from or what it costs. Buttigieg as Transportation Secretary, the failed mayor of South Bend, has not a clue about transportation beyond telling all Americans to buy electric cars. Chances are he has no idea about the costs and downsides of EVs. Considering the problem of disposal of the batteries when they die, electric vehicles do far more damage to the environment than fossil fuels. Biden’s ridiculous promise to end American dependence on fossil fuel is a stupid pipe dream that will never come true. Fossil fuel is the engine of democracy, of civilization. To suggest we can live without it is pure sophistry.
Consider cabinet members Jake Sullivan, Ned Pryce, Janet Yellen, and Anthony Blinken. Each of them has a record of incompetence and failure, even criminality. Sullivan was party to the fabrication of the Russia hoax. Yellen, formerly of the Fed, now claims the American people are economically in “good shape.” Biden and Pelosi both hilariously claim that government spending is not causing the worst inflation in forty years. Pelosi even said it is “reducing our debt.”
These are very stupid people. They lie like they breathe. Jen Psaki who always speaks before she thinks is a veritable machine of lies. She hears a question, then someone pulls the string in her back and she begins spewing a word salad of non-answers. She always begins with “What I would say is….” She IS saying it for heaven’s sake.
As evident to all by now, Biden is suffering from advancing dementia, so he is clearly not making any of the policy decisions that now bedevil America. Cutting off our vast supplies of oil is sheer moonbattery, as if Air Force One will soon be able to take off on solar or wind power. And yet Biden promises “net zero” is near. Not even close. Fossil fuel is the gift that keeps on giving and will for eternity.
Those who continue to hawk the hoax of climate change as a means to subdue the world’s population are mind-numbed cultists whose dreams of a fossil fuel-free world will never be realized, certainly not in their lifetimes. And yet, we are currently benighted by these authoritarian dreamers who think they can and should be able to control how the rest of us live our lives.
They seem to most of us to be certifiably insane, clueless about the spirit of the American people and their love of freedom. Seduced by the likes of Klaus Schwab and his WEF globalist vision of a utopian/dystopian future under the auspices of self-appointed elites like himself, we should all awaken to the threat these people present to us with their “great reset” nonsense. Have no doubt, the covid pandemic was phase one of their grand plan. But millions of Americans are not complying, and they are angry about that.
The swamp that is DC in known for promoting the incompetent. How else to explain Joe Biden’s rise to President? He was always a failed senator, a grifter who used his position to cheat and enrich himself. The same goes for the Clintons, the Obamas, and a host of other swamp dwellers. They were all sold to us as the “smartest people in the room” but they are actually the most venal people in any room.
So enamored of their own superiority, they think nothing of fabricating a tall tale about the outsider presidential candidate to take him out. When he won despite the cheating that they thought ensured them that a Clinton victory was in the bag, they doubled down on their criminality; they invented the Russia hoax that enveloped and hampered the Trump presidency.
That despicable stunt has possibly led us to the Russia/Ukraine war now dominating the world. Russia never wanted Trump to win the 2016 election for now obvious reasons; he was a strong, American First leader. The wanted Hillary like they wanted Biden, thoroughly corruptible pols who would do their bidding.
We can only guess who is making American policy since Biden was installed in the Oval Office. Biden is a done deal, an empty suit, a front for whoever behind the scenes is pulling his strings, writing the speeches on his teleprompter that he can barely read. Obama? Eric Holder? Susan Rice? Valerie Jarrett? Who knows?
What we do know is that they are intent on the destruction of America as founded. Biden and his radical greens mean to destroy America by destroying the engine of civilization, fossil fuel. Their arrogance is so front and center that the mind numbed Buttigieg thinks that everyone can afford an electric vehicle to avoid high gas prices! He does not drive one; neither do Biden or Harris but they are all quick to malign all who do not fall for the false notion that EVs are the answer to “climate change” which was always a hoax from the outset. One has to wonder if Buttigieg knows from where the power comes from for all those chargers he wants spread across America.
Ukraine has long been the playground of the corrupt Democrats and their kids. Operatives in Ukraine worked with Democrats to defeat Trump in 2016. The bulk of campaign money funneled to Hillary’s campaign came from Ukraine. Adam Schiff has financial ties to Ukraine. The Biden family has been fabulously enriched by dallying in business there. The pro-Western government installed by the Obama administration in 2014 has been betrayed by those American deep staters who have for years been provoking Putin with the possibility that Ukraine might be admitted to NATO. Did Biden’s handlers think that by aggravating Putin into invading Ukraine, he would be overthrown? That is not likely. Biden’s sanctions are making Putin more popular amongst his own people and hurting Americans!
Every calculation made by this administration has been disastrous from the day Biden was inaugurated: Effectively putting a stop to American oil production, the untimely withdrawal from Afghanistan which signaled Biden’s fecklessness to the world, printing money to the point the dollar is becoming worthless, and possibly kick-starting WWIII. Can the country survive this President? It does not look good.

So you might think that during a 50-year political career, the odds would dictate that Joe Biden would, once in a blue moon, make a correct decision — just based on the odds. But you'd be mistaken. Biden has stumbled and bumbled from one disastrous decision to the next. Disastrous, that is, for America. Biden himself has prospered handsomely in spite of his glaring incompetence and corruption.

He literally stole a speech detailing a British politician's life story. He ran again in 2008 but again failed to reach even one percent of the vote.

When Barack Obama took him off the primary trash heap to make him vice president, Biden first made a hash out of the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, wasting hundreds of billions on boondoggles and giveaways to Democrat cronies. Little of the recovery billions was spent on anything useful to America. Biden went on to manage our relations with China and Ukraine, pocketing untold millions for himself and his family by selling out America's security interests.
By the time he ran for president again in 2020, he was a spent husk of his former corrupt and incompetent self, delivering asinine performances in the Iowa caucus and New Hampshire primary. When the Democrat establishment propped him up to once again stop Bernie Sanders, Biden was set up for the strangest presidential campaign in modern history. While Donald Trump barnstormed the nation with packed, enthusiastic rallies, Biden cowered in his basement, occasionally venturing out to speak with a few dozen voters sitting in circles drawn on the floor.
For his vice presidential pick, he chose — if you can believe it — an even more buffoonish candidate than himself.
Had it not been for Mark Zuckerberg buying and staffing government election offices in swing states, and the media and Big Tech's censorship of the Biden family's corruption, Biden would now be enjoying his dotage in Delaware, creeping on unsuspecting children with yarns of Corn Pop and South African arrests.
Instead, the man with one of the most astonishing records of abject failure in Washington was installed in the White House, and he has remained true to form. As one of a hundred senators and then as vice president, there was a limit to how much damage he could do. But as president, the shackles have been removed.
His first agenda item was to throttle our oil and gas sector, offshoring tens of thousands of good paying jobs to Russia and the Middle East — along with our energy independence. He threw open our southern border and encouraged virtually unlimited illegal immigration — during a global pandemic.
He sponsored trillions of dollars in wasteful spending, pushing our national debt to over $31 trillion. Were it not for two Democratic senators who had not yet taken leave of their senses, it would have been even worse. As it is, Biden has sparked the largest one-year increase in inflation in 40 years.
Biden's "defund the police" rhetoric delivered us soaring violent crime in Democrat-run cities, while he sicced federal law enforcement on parents who object too strenuously to their children being indoctrinated with anti-White racism and LGBTQIA+ ideology.
It can truly be said that as president, Biden's record of failure remains unblemished.
But now comes what may be the capstone on Biden's long history of buffoonery and corruption. In Ukraine, we have an armed conflict that threatens to plunge the world into an economic depression and raises the specter of nuclear war. Not only did Biden set the stage for this calamity when, as vice president, he was in charge of Ukraine policy and led Kiev to believe that NATO membership was in Ukraine's future, but on the eve of the Russian invasion, he refused to admit that it was not. Then Biden all but admitted to Vladimir Putin — on live TV, no less — that NATO would not defend Ukraine if Russia chose to invade.
In the aftermath of Russia's invasion, Biden and his administration have crafted sanctions that seem almost designed to boomerang on America's and Europe's fragile post-pandemic economies, while forcing Russia into a deeper alliance with China.
With the U.S. over $31 trillion in debt, Biden seems totally oblivious to the perilous position of the U.S. dollar as the world's reserve currency and the consequences should that privileged position end.
Economists predict that food and gasoline will cost the average U.S. household an additional $3,000 this year, and inflation threatens to push millions of lower-middle income-earners into abject poverty.
And bumbling, corrupt Joe Biden isn't yet halfway through his first — and please God, last — term.

Kamala Proves the Peter Principle

Most of my life, I assumed that we elected serious politicians and appointed competent people to deal with the country’s complex problems -- the Cold War, the Vietnam War, the Civil Rights Movement, the economy, immigration, terrorism, foreign policy, natural disasters, etc. -- major problems that required competent people, serious about addressing (and fixing) the issues.
That was then, this is now. America is no longer a serious country, and the West is not a serious culture. Proof of how far we’ve fallen -- boys claim they’re girls, girls claim they’re boys and we must accept the new biology or be cancelled; racism is openly taught in public schools under the lie called Critical Race Theory (thank you, teachers unions); schoolchildren are taught to hate the country’s very founding claiming more racism; the military is focused on white rage (not defeating our enemies); and we installed an imbecile (as president) who mumbles the words his handlers put on the teleprompter. Vice President (VP) Kamala Harris is further proof that, as a nation, we’re unserious.
Watching Kamala, Biden, Tony Blinken, Pete Buttigieg, etc. it’s obvious that the Peter Principle is at work. The Peter Principle says that people rise to the level of their incompetence. It’s difficult to believe that Biden could find someone less competent than himself, but he did. Among the vast numbers of very unintelligent politicians, VP Kamala is perhaps the least competent and least intelligent of them all. Her diminished mental acuity is Biden’s insurance against replacing him. Kamala’s incoherent statements are legendary. Following are some examples:
· She told us her pronouns are “she, her, and hers.” What should a woman’s pronouns be? Oh, that’s right, in Democrat world, boys can be girls and vice versa. Only Dems and Leftist understand such nonsense.
· Months after Kamala was appointed the immigration/border security czar, she was challenged why she had not visited the Mexican border. Her snarky response, “and I haven’t been to Europe either.” Say what?
· January 2022, Harris was asked if it’s time to change COVID strategy. Kamala responded, “It’s time for us to do what we have been doing, and that time is every day. Every day it is time for us to agree that there are things available to us.” I have no clue what she said. Unfortunately, neither does she.
· 
Last month, at a NATO conference held to discuss Russia’s massed troops threatening to invade Ukraine, Kamala made the following comment, “Perhaps this is a moment, as life presents us with these moments, that challenge us to ask what is our reason for being? I think we all know the history of NATO and its reason for being. The spirit behind this term we use “the transatlantic community”, the word community meaning a collection, not a collection of individuals who see themselves as a collection, than as one.” Despite such incoherent babble, Putin invaded Ukraine two days later.
· When NBC asked her about sanctions on Russia’s oil industry, Harris said, “As it relates to what we need to do domestically as well as what we need to do in terms of this issue generally, we have, as the president said, reevaluated what we’re doing”
· Finally, further proof that Biden is not serious, he appointed Kamala as point person on Ukraine. Why not Biden, you ask? Good question, but he goes home to Delaware most weekends; perhaps that’s why he delegates war and Ukraine to Kamala. To demonstrate her superior knowledge on Europe (she’s now been once), a radio show asked her to explain the Ukraine situation to its audience. Harris said, “Ukraine is a country in Europe. It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine. So, basically that’s wrong.”
Yes, those were her words. Her condescending answers tell us everything about her. She belittles the audience. She can’t talk normally to people because she thinks we’re too dumb to understand the situation. Then again, who’s surprised? Our elite leftists (Hillary, Obama, NY Times readers, academics, Hollywood, the media, etc.) think we’re beneath them because we haven’t been educated at Harvard or Yale. They demand we defer to their superior education to save us uneducated bumpkins out here in places like rural Georgia. With Kamala, Biden, and his entire administration, the Peter Principle is alive and well. Between Biden’s and Harris’ constant idiotic statements, it’s almost impossible to quantify which one is the least capable.

It is hard to find words to describe the debauched and sleazy satyr that is Hunter Biden and how he used his family name and his father’s status as an important American politician to become an extraordinary international grifter involved in multi-million dollar -- sometimes billion dollar -- deals with international entities that included corrupt criminal enterprises such as Burisma Holdings of Ukraine and the government- and military-controlled companies of Russia and China, international enemies of the United States.
His business activities and lifestyle were revealed on the laptop he left in a Wilmington, Delaware Mac computer repair shop owned by a Mr. Isaac, who took possession after Hunter failed to pick it up after 90 days. Mr. Isaac had already fixed the water damage and looked at the contents, found discussions about Burisma (the Ukrainian oil and gas company) so he arranged through his father, a retired Air Force Colonel, to turn the laptop over to the FBI in Arizona.
Mr. Isaac kept a hard drive copy to protect himself. Then he made some inquiries after the FBI failed to do anything. The inquiry that was most productive was to Rudy Giuliani, who was Trump’s personal attorney and very interested in the Burisma matter. Mr. G had an old DOJ colleague named Costello from his federal prosecutor days who was an IT expert, and the hard drive was analyzed. Then, in October, it was presented to the New York Post for the bombshell it was -- proof of Hunter’s grifting and also proof that Joe Biden lied when he claimed he didn’t know anything about Hunter’s international machinations involving corrupt Ukrainians and nefarious Chinese and Russian autocrats/plutocrats.
The plot thickened as the Post did its due diligence. A full-court press was initiated to suppress and censor the Post's publication of the laptop materials in October of 2020, the run-up to the election and the interval in the debates being held between Trump and Biden.
Biden denied Trump’s accusations about corruption and influence peddling. Former CIA director John Brennan organized a letter by deep state intelligence doyens who claimed it was just Russian disinformation and the major social media banned the Post and anyone who quoted Post stories about the laptop.
The scandal of a lifetime -- son of a president selling his name and living a despoiled life of excess -- sidling up to Russian and Chinese on deals involving millions -- while living the life of a depraved sex fiend and cocaine/alcohol abuser.
My opinion is that if Hunter’s choice of drugs had leaned more to opiates he would be dead. But instead, the president’s scion lived the manic life of a cocaine addict bouncing in and out of rehab and even prompting repeat inquiries from his father about his situation, with the implication that Joe Biden was hesitant to run for president if Hunter was on the streets of the world hustling foreign investment deals, whoring, drinking, throwing money around and smoking crack cocaine.
Is that a mouthful -- Joe Biden, head of a corrupt enterprise -- proof of Joe’s sharing of Hunter's ill-gotten gains, trying to keep Hunter from blowing up his presidential ambitions? Imagine, a presidential candidate involved in an intervention of his addict son who was traveling the world selling the family name with his father’s support and approval. At one point the Chinese patron Hunter was taking money from and working on investments with even offered Hunter a side/back door deal of 10 million dollars just for “introductions” and “access,’’ certainly nothing more than selling the Biden name as a door opener.
The book revealing the details of the decadent life and dirty deals has been written by the New York Post’s journalist Miranda Devine about one year after Joe Biden was supposedly elected president of the United States. Here we are, and like the people trying to expose the election fraud, Ms. Devine is working uphill against a media and political army intent on burying the scandal and censoring the journalists who would expose the vile degenerate corrupt wickedness of Hunter and the enabling and complicit behavior of so many in the family’s close political circle of important and not so important players,
Laptop From Hell covers the life of the Biden family and focuses on the life of Hunter during the period of time exposed in the laptop: 2005 to 2020. Robert Hunter Biden was the third child of Joe Biden, born in 1970. In 1972 when Hunter was almost 3 his mother and younger sister were killed in a truck car crash when his mother ran a stop sign -- they were not struck by a drunk driver as Joe Biden has claimed so many times. Hunter and Beau, his older brother, were injured, Hunter with a head injury, and Joe Biden was sworn in as a newly elected and very young US Senator in the hospital room where the boys were recuperating.
The death of his mother and elective office of his father aside, Hunter had an unremarkable childhood, graduated from Georgetown with a history degree, and did religious volunteer work for a year before entering Georgetown Law after failing to get admission to Yale. He was advised a transfer would be available after Georgetown and was accepted and graduated Yale Law in 1996, becoming an attorney for a bank and credit card company in Delaware, MBNA. Delaware is and was the most corporate and bank/credit card company-friendly state in the nation. MBNA has been a major contributor to the Joe Biden campaigns. In two years, he was executive vice president then he went to the Clinton administration Dept. of Commerce until Bush became president and then he became a lobbyist but quit lobbying when his father was elected Vice President.
From 2006 forward, Hunter was active in investment banking with a focus on natural resource extraction and technology. A sequence of investment entities was formed, first with Uncle James, then with Devon Archer (now in prison for fraud) and Chris Heinz (yes, Ketchup heir Chris, who dropped out because of concern about the appearance of influence peddling).
Hunter’s China connections started with a discounted stake in a China investment company, and that was followed with multiple Chinese generated arrangements built on his father’s status as Vice President, Air Force Two and other visits with Chinese asset managers that were always connected to the Bank of China and Chicom political and military leaders/autocrats. The lifestyle depicted from the laptop shows that a lot of big money flowed to Hunter during those years, from China and other sources, like Burisma, that paid him $83 K a month to be on the board until Joe Biden stepped down after the 2016 election and then Burisma reduced the monthly to $40 K plus.
Laptop from Hell puts on display the personal life of a sociopath -- whoring, partying, blowing gigantic amounts of money on expensive hotels, toys, clothes, cars, homes -- excesses that can only be marveled at along with mistreatment of friends, associates, family, involvement in criminal and immoral nihilistic behavior. Hunter is a monument to bad parenting -- so he is Exhibit One for the case that Joe and Jill Biden are their own form of sociopath -- sociopathic behavior runs in families for a reason.

The diagnosis of antisocial personality disorder is not given to individuals under the age of 18. However, ASPD symptoms will first appear in childhood or adolescence and may garner a diagnosis of conduct disorder during that time. Antisocial personality disorder is much more common in males than in females. The highest prevalence of antisocial personality disorder is found among males who abuse alcohol or drugs or who are in prisons or other forensic settings
