SAN FRANCISCO - HALF THE CRIMES PERPETRATED BY BLACKS - Man Fights Back After Robber Targets His Family's Car in Golden Gate Park in SF

San Francisco is in the midst of a massive crime wave, with homicides rising 35% in 2020. The city has also become synonymous with petty crime and public nuisances, such as open drug use and defecation on the sidewalks, leading many residents to consider moving elsewhere.

A smash and grab robbery in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park was caught on cell phone video after the victim prevented the suspect from driving off with his belongings by chasing him on foot.

The victim, Jason Andaya, was in Golden Gate Park for 10 minutes with his wife Natalie and son Jasper, 2, when the incident occurred. The family was on a road trip from Seattle, KTVU reported.

"I’m just wondering like what's this guy doing on that side of our vehicle… he's got no business there," Andaya told the station.

The video, taken on Feb. 24 by SF resident Forrest Lanning, shows a man in a blue hoodie snatching a suitcase from the broken window of a parked SUV and dashing off to the other side of the street.

Andaya runs after the man to a getaway car driven by an accomplice and gets into a scuffle before the backpack, which was filled with his son’s clothes and toys, is dropped by the suspect.

Lanning recorded the incident around 1:08 p.m. in the area of Martin Luther King Drive and Kezar Drive and shared the video on Twitter.

“I saw this guy at the car and I thought he was just trying to open it, but then I saw him break the window and then I’m like, he’s doing one of those smash-and-grabs,” Lanning told CBS SF BayArea's Betty Yu (@bett_yu). “And then he was going to run across the street and what I didn’t expect is the owner of that car, chased after him.”

Lanning managed to get the suspects’ Chevy Impala license plate, 5ZZN552.

The San Francisco Police Department said it has no record of the incident. Andaya and his family called 911 but couldn’t stay to file a police report. They will do so once they return home.

"At this time, we've not located a police report matching the incident depicted in the Twitter post. It is possible that the victim did not file a report,” the department said in a statement.

An SFPD spokesperson added that robberies in the Richmond district have increased, but auto burglaries are down.

This is the second smash-and-grab Lanning has witnessed in Golden Gate Park in two years. Both times the victims had checked out of hotels and carried luggage in their vehicles.

San Francisco to Redistribute $120 Million from Police to Black Community

San Francisco Mayor London Breed released a plan Thursday to redistribute $120 million from the city’s law enforcement budget to projects aimed at helping the city’s black minority.

Bay Area public radio station KQED reported:

San Francisco Mayor London Breed on Thursday announced a plan for how the city will spend $120 million over the next two years, pulled from law enforcement budgets, to reinvest in the city’s long-underserved Black communities.

“The Dream Keeper Initiative,” as it’s dubbed, increases investments in workforce development, health campaigns, youth and cultural programs and housing support. The allocations reflect spending priorities conveyed by Black residents during a series of community meetings and public surveys led last year by the city’s Human Rights Commission, Breed said.

Black people make up only about 5% of San Francisco’s population — a proportion that has consistently decreased in the last 50 years — but make up nearly 40% of its homeless residents. Black residents have among the city’s highest mortality rates and lowest median household incomes, and are involved in a disproportionately high percentage of police use-of-force incidents.

Breed is the city’s first African-American mayor.

The city’s plan follows similar plans in Los Angeles, where Mayor Eric Garcetti promised last year to cut up to $150 million from the Los Angeles Police Department — more than 10% of the total — for investment in “communities of color.”

The move was a response to activists’ demands to “defund the police,” which accompanied the Black Lives Matter protests.

San Francisco is in the midst of a massive crime wave, with homicides rising 35% in 2020. The city has also become synonymous with petty crime and public nuisances, such as open drug use and defecation on the sidewalks, leading many residents to consider moving elsewhere.

WHAT DO CATHOLICS THINK ABOUT JOE BIDEN?

Priest: Joe Biden Is ‘Most Aggressively Anti-Catholic President in History’

Joe Biden is the “most aggressively anti-Catholic President in history” despite his outward show of piety, Virginia priest and director of Human Life International, Father Jerry Pokorsky, states.

“For most of his political life — from his consistent pro-abortion record to his officiating at a gay wedding in 2016 — despite his Catholic affiliation and public pious practices, Joe Biden has magnified and institutionalized countless major violations of the Ten Commandments,” Father Pokorsky writes in an essay Friday.

“The hypocrisy rivals that of the chief priests and Pharisees and is worthy of the same condemnation,” the priest declares. “Indeed, Biden is the most aggressively anti-Catholic President in history.”

The reason for the harsh assessment of Biden’s record is the dichotomy between his outward show of piety on the one hand and his record of supporting evil on the other, Pokorsky notes, adding that “Biden’s habitual and unapologetic sinful acts are on full display.”

“The next Republican that tells me I’m not religious I’m going to shove my rosary beads down their throat,” Biden said in 2005, and yet being a faithful Catholic means much more than carrying a rosary, the priest declares.

The words of Jesus are foreboding: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven,” Pokorsky cites.

It is “presumptuous and dangerous to proclaim oneself as a devout Catholic or to encourage (or even allow) the description,” the priest states.

In point of fact, one would never know Biden is a Catholic from the positions he takes on key moral issues, he suggests.

Biden has said he is “committed to codifying” Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion, Pokorsky observes, and he has promised he will be “appointing judges that respect foundational precedents like Roe.”

He already rescinded the pro-life Mexico City Policy, which ensured that taxpayer dollars would not go to organizations that perform or refer for abortions abroad, he adds.

Biden has also called on Congress to quickly pass the Equality Act, which would add sexual orientation and gender identity as protected classes under the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Biden nominated Xavier Becerra to lead the Department of Health and Human Services. Becerra “supports legislation that permits partial-birth abortion, forces every healthcare plan to pay for abortions, forces pro-life pregnancy centers to advertise abortions, forces the Little Sisters of the Poor to pay for contraception and abortion drugs, and allows assisted suicide,” the priest declares.

Biden’s insistent claim that he is a devout Catholic forces an “unavoidable choice,” the priest states. We either: stand with the Church and reject Biden’s “iconic culture-of-death policies,” or we join those who “celebrate Biden’s flouting of Church teaching.”

“Some prominent bishops and cardinals have already declared themselves sheep of Biden’s flock,” Pokorsky laments, while the “Georgetown Jesuits celebrate with elation his Mass attendance as President.”

“The election of Biden has forced a crisis,” the priest concludes. “From the ashes, we can expect the Holy Spirit to raise up successors to those who opposed another anti-Catholic tyrant: Saint John Fisher and Saint Thomas More.”

“May there be many of them,” he declares.

Xavier Becerra Refused to Name Even One Abortion Restriction He Could Support

California Attorney General Xavier Becerra refused to answer questions about his radical pro-abortion views during his Senate confirmation hearing Wednesday and could not name even one abortion restriction he could support.

Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) asked Becerra, President Joe Biden’s nominee for secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), whether he supported any restriction whatsoever on abortions, including those intended to end the life of babies with a prenatal disability diagnosis of Down syndrome or partial-birth abortions.

“Senator, let me try to respond this way,” Becerra said.

“I have tried to make sure on this important issue for so many people, where oftentimes again we have different views, but deeply held views, that I have tried to make sure that I am abiding by the law,” he continued to say. “Because whether it’s a particular restriction, or whether it’s the whole idea of abortion, whether we agree or not, we have to come to some conclusion, and that’s where the law gives– “

“But, to be clear,” Daines interrupted. “Is there any line you would draw? Is there just one – just one restriction that relates to abortion that you might support?”

Becerra still would not respond to Daines’ question, but, instead, attempted to distract the senator with references to his Catholic faith, including that his mother “blessed” him before he left for his confirmation hearing and that she “prays the rosary every day” and “said a prayer and included me in that prayer.”

Daines again pressed Becerra on the issue of unborn babies and “the battle for those who don’t have a voice.”

“You didn’t answer the question,” the senator asserted. “Even one, even one restriction?”

“How about a ban on the lethal discrimination of babies diagnosed with Down syndrome?” he suggested.

Becerra began, “Senator, if I can simply say to you that I respect the different views that are out there, but what’s important is to make sure that–”

“But, if you’re confirmed, you’re going to be the head of HHS!” Daines exclaimed. “That’s a huge organization, it has profound impact on our society! How about a ban on sex-selective abortion?”

Once again, Becerra responded, “I respect those that take a particular view. My job will be to make sure I am following the law.”

Becerra would also not say he would support a ban on partial-birth abortion.

During the first day of his confirmation hearing Tuesday, Sen. Mitt Romney told Becerra that “on partial-birth abortion, it sounds like we are not going to reach common ground there.”

Roger Severino of the Ethics and Public Policy Center (EPPC) said in a statement Becerra’s confirmation hearing was “devastating” for his nomination.

The former Trump administration HHS Office for Civil Rights director added the hearing “exposed him as well qualified to lead Planned Parenthood but unqualified to be America’s top public health official during a pandemic.”

“He failed to explain his never-ending obsession with illegally forcing nuns to buy contraceptive and abortion coverage and could not name a single abortion restriction he would ever support,” said Severino, who now directs EPPC’s HHS Accountability Project. “America needs an expert in public health at HHS, certainly not a divisive abortion extremist.”

National pro-life leader Kristan Hawkins also reacted to Becerra’s remarks in a statement sent to Breitbart News.

“If you can’t name ANY limits for abortion, you’re too radical to run the nation’s health care,” said the Students for Life Action president. She continued:

During two days of hearings, Xavier Becerra has talked a lot about finding common cause with pro-life Americans, but his history indicates that given the opportunity, he chooses to support the most extreme elements of the abortion lobby. It’s more important than ever for Americans to visit StopBecerra.com and ask their Senators to vote NO on Becerra.

“While Becerra kept repeating his talking points about finding common ground, he didn’t look for it when he had power in other offices,” Hawkins noted.

Sen. Cruz Notes Becerra's 'Only' Experience with Health Care

There's plenty to complain about regarding President Biden's HHS secretary nominee, Xavier Becerra. He has a poor record on the right to life, and he has supported some radical health care policies.

Asked to analyze the nomination on Fox News, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) targeted Becerra's lack of experience and made an effective analogy in the process.

"He's not a doctor, he has no scientific background, and he has no background in virology, he never worked in a pharmaceutical company," Cruz said of the HHS nominee. "He's got nothing to do with health care!"

"He's a trial lawyer," Cruz continued. "And his only experience, and his only experience, as far as I can tell, with health care is he sued the Little Sisters of the Poor."

"If a Republican nominated a trial lawyer to lead the Health and Human Services Department in the midst of a global pandemic, they'd be laughed out of the room."

Pro-life groups have blasted out warnings about Becerra these past few weeks.

“During his time in public office, Xavier Becerra has displayed a vindictiveness towards those who protect the unborn as well as a disregard for actual healthcare," said March for Life president Jeanne Mancini. "He has a record of using his position to aggressively attack pro-life institutions and individuals, and clearly has no qualms about wielding his political power to promote taxpayer-funded abortions on demand up until birth - something with which the majority of Americans disagree. Confirming this nominee to lead the Department of Health and Human Services will only further divide America. Americans deserve a well-qualified professional with real medical experience at the helm of HHS, not a puppet for big abortion.”

National Institute of Family and Life Advocates, a non-profit that once sued Becerra after the California Department of Health tried to regulate pro-life pregnancy centers.

“The nomination of Xavier Becerra to be secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services is a disgraceful attack on the pro-life values of millions of Americans," NIFLA Vice President of Legal Affairs Anne O’Connor said in a statement. "Becerra’s extensive track record of targeting pro-life centers and medical clinics – along with anyone that disagrees with his pro-abortion dogma – is evident for all to see. His appointment to HHS imperils pro-life pregnancy centers. These dedicated nonprofits provide more than $266,764,916 in free services annually to mothers, fathers, babies, and families nationwide. Failure to reject this nomination is a continuation of Becerra’s unconstitutional attacks on pregnancy centers in California and before the Supreme Court in NIFLA v. Becerra.”

Conservative Groups Lobby Joe Manchin to Sink Xavier Becerra’s Confirmation over Immigration, Abortion

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) is feeling the heat to

betray President Joe Biden and his

Department of Health and Human Services

nominee, Xavier Becerra, due to his open

borders policies on immigration and abortion.

Manchin has said he “has not yet decided” whether to support Becerra. If Manchin defects to oppose his nomination and Senate Republicans vote in lockstep, Becerra will fall short of the 50 votes necessary for confirmation.

Conservative groups are fighting Becerra’s nomination, lobbying to win over Manchin, who has voted to defund Planned Parenthood in the past and campaigned as a pro-life Democrat in conservative West Virginia. Becerra, for his part, led a coalition of 21 attorneys general asking the Food and Drug Administration to increase access to reproductive telehealthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Another group unveiled an advertising blitz aimed at blocking Becerra. Heritage Action for America announced a $600,000 push through digital advertisements and television advertisements focused in the Washington, D.C., area.

The campaign criticized Becerra for not having a background in medicine and for pushing for left-wing causes such as loosening restrictions on immigration, according to a report. “He’s a radical partisan, an activist, not a doctor. In the middle of a pandemic, the wrong appointee, the wrong time,” the advertisement says.

Becerra’s Tuesday confirmation hearing could be one of the most divisive in the Biden administration’s opening days. Eleven GOP senators have already rendered him unfit to serve as the next HHS secretary, where he succeeded then-attorney general Kamala Harris.

Republican Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Mike Braun (R-IN.) both said that they plan on holding Becerra accountable for his role in enforcing coronavirus restrictions the Supreme Court found unconstitutional.

BECERRA HAS LONG BEEN ASSOCIATED WITH THE MEXICAN FASCIST MOVEMENT OF LA RAZA 'THE RACE' NOW CALLING ITSELF UNIDOus AS WELL AS THE MEXICAN SEPARATISTI MOVMENT OF M.E.Ch.A. GOOGLE IT.

As in 2016, Democrats advance a corrupt ruling-class candidate. Like the dead man Gary Ernst, Democrats want people to vote for Joe Biden so they can swap him out for Kamala Harris, already a beneficiary of voter fraud and with the exception of Xavier Becerra possibly the worst attorney general in California history.

Planned Parenthood’s New Report Reveals More Than 8.6 Million Abortions

The number of lives ended in abortion by Planned Parenthood is staggering. But even one would be too many.

Planned Parenthood quietly released its most recent annual report last week for the fiscal year 2019–2020. The document highlighted the hurdles the nation’s largest abortion provider has faced, from the COVID-19 pandemic to the Trump administration. And yet, business is booming. Planned Parenthood counted 354,871 abortions for the year 2019–2020 – the highest number ever recorded, according to data tracked by pro-life groups.

The aborted unborn are numbers to Planned Parenthood. They should be names.

Combining abortion numbers from years past published by pro-life group Live Action, pro-life leader Jill Stanek, and Planned Parenthood itself, the abortion giant has performed more than 8.6 million estimated abortions since 1970.

To put that in context, imagine a decimated New York City. Or countries with populations comparable to that of Switzerland or Israel destroyed.

Planned Parenthood affiliates saw a total of 2.4 million patients – 321,001 of whom were male – from 2018–2019, according to the report. Assuming that no patient had more than one abortion during that time period, roughly 17 percent of the female patients (~2,078,999) were there for an abortion. And yet, the report noted, “abortion services” accounted for just “3%” of “affiliate medical services.”

For years, the media have repeated the claim that abortions performed by Planned Parenthood consist of only 3 percent of the group’s total “services,” including NBC News and CNN. Only the rare media outlet, such as the Washington Post, has debunked the low 3 percent, along with pro-life groups.

In addition to the number of abortions rising to 354,871, Planned Parenthood affiliates also received more in taxpayer funding, or “Government Health Services Reimbursements & Grants.” The report boasted $618.1 million.

In contrast, according to its 2018—2019 annual report, Planned Parenthood provided 345,672 abortions while receiving $616.8 million in taxpayer funding.

But not all numbers rose. Prenatal services decreased from 9,798 in 2018—2019 to 8,626 in 2019–2020. Likewise, adoption referrals dropped dramatically from 4,279 in 2018—2019 to 2,667 in 2019–2020.

These numbers reveal Planned Parenthood’s priorities.

And, this year, Planned Parenthood hoped for even more growth – in certain areas – with the new Biden administration.

“Now, champions for sexual and reproductive health are in the White House,” the report’s introduction read. “We’re entering a new era where we can not only undo the damage of the last four years, but move policy, and collective imagination, forward.”

They’re already trying to move forward with abortion. In a Washington Post interview published in December, Planned Parenthood President Alexis McGill Johnson called Planned Parenthood a “proud abortion provider” and went so far as to say that downplaying the number of its abortions actually “marginalizes” and “stigmatizes” abortion.

“Like: It’s really not a big deal that Planned Parenthood does this,” she insisted.

In 2019, McGill Johnson began leading Planned Parenthood after her predecessor, Leana Wen, claimed she was fired for not prioritizing abortion enough.

Planned Parenthood has demonstrated before how, even if it claims abortion is 3 percent, it dictates 100 percent of what it does. Planned Parenthood refused to give up abortion in exchange for federal funding after an offer by the Trump administration. Former workers, like Abby Johnson, have stressed that Planned Parenthood has an “abortion quota.”

Among other efforts to advance abortion, Planned Parenthood boasted about launching an “Abortion Service Locator” in its new report. The locator “provides people seeking an abortion with personalized information about their options.”

Other “highlights” from the report included the creation of a short film “showcasing four abortion storytellers” and a #BansOffMyBody campaign to “fight back against extreme, unnecessary state and federal bans and other restrictions on abortion.”

The introduction emphasized that
