IT'S OFFICIAL! THE BIDEN - MAYORKAS PACK OF GAMER LAWYERS HAVE DESTROYED AMERICAN'S BORDER - DHS Chief Alejandro Mayorkas Vows to Reinstate ‘Sanctuary Country’ Orders After SCOTUS Ruling

After the Supreme Court ruled that states lack standing to sue President Joe Biden’s administration for not enforcing federal immigration law, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas says he will reinstate the agency’s so-called “sanctuary country” orders that shield most of the nation’s illegal aliens from arrest and deportation.

“We applaud the Supreme Court’s ruling,” Mayorkas said:

DHS looks forward to reinstituting these guidelines, which had been effectively applied by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers to focus limited resources and enforcement actions on those who pose a threat to our national security, public safety, and border security. The guidelines enable DHS to most effectively accomplish its law enforcement mission with the authorities and resources provided by Congress. [Emphasis added]

On Friday, the Supreme Court ruled in an 8-1 decision that “a citizen lacks standing to contest the policies of the prosecuting authority when he himself is neither prosecuted nor threatened with prosecution” and thus states lacked standing to sue over the orders.

Texas and Louisiana first filed suit against the Biden administration in April 2021 after DHS started imposing the orders that require Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to only prioritize arrests and deportations of illegal aliens who have been recently convicted of aggravated felonies, terrorists, or known gang members.

Following the Supreme Court’s ruling, Mayorkas said he will reinstate the orders to begin ensuring that most of the nation’s 11 to 22 million illegal aliens are not eligible for deportation.

Lora Ries, director of Heritage’s Border Security and Immigration Center, said the ruling “disregards the … costs that states have accrued” from illegal aliens not being detained and, thus, deported by ICE agents.

“… numerous other state lawsuits are pending against the Biden administration for similar costs from additional clear violations of immigration law,” Ries said. “Today’s decision raises worrisome questions as to the future of those cases and states’ ability to protect themselves and their residents.”

As Breitbart News reported, the orders were hugely impactful in terms of cutting the number of arrests and deportations of illegal aliens in Fiscal 2021 before federal courts stopped them from being implemented while the case was litigated up to the Supreme Court.

For example, before the orders were implemented, ICE agents were deporting about 121 illegal aliens every day. After the orders went into effect, ICE agents were left deporting just 65 illegal aliens every day.

Exclusive: Marjorie Taylor Greene to Force Joe Biden Impeachment Vote

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) in the coming days will introduce articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden under a privileged resolution.

By superseding House Republican leadership’s ability to control what comes to the House floor, Greene will launch articles of impeachment against Joe Biden, bypassing the usual process for bringing legislation to a full House vote.

Greene’s resolution will force House Republicans to vote on the measure.

“I don’t know what it’s going to take to get them to realize what fools Republicans look like in Congress for not moving forward on impeachment,” Greene exclusively told Breitbart News.

“Joe Biden is a criminal,” she said. “And as vice president of the United States, he committed crimes. He committed crimes, high crimes, and misdemeanors.”

“We now know on the Oversight Committee through our investigation that he took a $5 million bribe from a Ukrainian oligarch in order to get Victor Shokin fired — the prosecutor that was investigating Burisma,” she said.

“We have bank records after bank records after bank records showing that money was transferred, wire transferred in, from all kinds of countries all over the world, from all kinds of foreign nationals and businesses and state governments into the fake LLC, paying the Biden family members,” Greene continued.

“Everyone knows this,” she said. “But for some reason, Republicans in Congress can’t even start the process of impeachment. They can’t even begin it at this point.”

Greene told Breitbart News her privileged resolution posted on Congress.gov was the most viewed bill on the site all Wednesday.

But despite the grassroots interest in the bill, Greene said Republican members on the House Judiciary Committee do not support the impeachment effort.

“Everyone knows that Joe Biden is a criminal, and they [Republicans] will not move forward with impeachment anywhere in Judiciary, because you know what, you know what it is? There’s a couple of Republicans that sit on the Judiciary Committee, Ken Buck and [Tom] McClintock who don’t want to vote for impeachment.”

“Today, I addressed the entire [Republican] conference and told them that I could not disagree with them anymore on their stance on an impeachment because leadership is completely against [it],” she said. “They just aren’t there yet. And I told every single one of them, I could not disagree with them more.”

Greene’s difference of opinion does not appear to impact her relationship with House leadership. She told Breitbart News that she intends to keep the lines of communication open to hopefully change leadership’s mind.

“I support our leadership,” Greene said. “I also support Kevin McCarthy. I have all along, and I still support him. But I will have conversations with Kevin McCarthy and the rest of leadership before I file my privilege resolution.”

Greene’s resolution could be ready for a vote as soon as Friday. If the legislative language is not ready by then, she told Breitbart News it will be voted upon when members of Congress return to Washington, DC, in two weeks.

Washington, D.C. (June 23, 2023) – A Center for Immigration Studies analysis of the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) quietly published overdue overstay report shows that more than 850,000 foreign visitors overstayed their authorized stay in FY2022, which is probably a record high. A more detailed analysis of the numbers is forthcoming, but here are the highlights:
  • The total overstay rate for 2022 was 3.64 percent, which is more than double the rate of recent years.
  • Approximately 98,000 visitors who entered under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP), which allows visa-free travel for short-term visitors from low-risk countries, overstayed in 2022. The country with both the largest number and highest rate of VWP overstayers was Spain, with 28,356 overstays and a rate of 5.6 percent, which could trigger corrective measures.
  • The largest number of short-term visitor overstays from non-VWP countries came from Venezuela. About 173,000 Venezuelans overstayed during the year -- which is about 94 percent of the visitors. This is because the Biden administration has allowed Venezuelans to enter and receive Temporary Protected Status, a designation that includes a work permit.
  • The next largest number of overstays by short-term visitors are citizens of Mexico, with approximately 124,000 overstays, at a rate of 3.5 percent.
  • For the first time, DHS broke down the overstay rates for the three sub-categories of student/exchange visas. Vocational school students had the highest overstay rate of the three (9.1 percent). Exchange visitors overstayed at a rate of 5.6 percent, and university and other traditional students overstayed at a rate of 4.1 percent.
  • Just over 9,000 citizens of China overstayed on student or exchange visitor visas, representing more than 16 percent of all student/exchange overstays.
  • The largest number of overstays in the category that includes temporary workers came from Mexico (131,000) and India (5,800).
Visa overstays are a significant contributor to our nation's illegal immigration problem, and improving the situation requires a multi-pronged approach. The State Department should be required to adjust visa issuance standards in certain countries and in certain visa categories, to reflect overstay risks. Sponsors and employers of students and workers that produce disproportionately high numbers of overstays should be barred from participating in visa programs. ICE should be directed to expand enforcement programs that target overstays. Laws should be tweaked to impose the same penalties for overstayers as illegal border crossers. Congress should continue to press DHS to build the biometric entry-exit system that will help maintain the integrity of the visa programs.

THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES ALONE PUTS OUT MORE THAN $1.5 BILLION IN WELFARE FOR ANCHOR BABIES. MORE THAN THE COUNTRY OF MEXICO PUTS OUT FOR THEIR OWN PEOPLE. NOT ONE LEGAL VOTED TO BE MEXICO'S WELFARE STATE!

'CHEAP' LABOR IS ONLY 'CHEAP' TO EMPLOYERS OF ILLEGALS!

Analysis: Nearly 17 Million Illegal Aliens in the United States Cost Americans $163 Billion Annually

Bass: We Can’t Absorb More Migrant Buses Because of Homelessness ‘Crisis’ — I Defend Sanctuary Status that Requires Spending on Migrants

On Thursday’s broadcast of NPR’s “All Things Considered,” Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass defended the city codifying its sanctuary city status and acknowledged that being a sanctuary city will spend city resources on migrants and also said that they can’t handle any more buses of migrants sent by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) or any other Republican officials because “we are in the middle of a crisis where we are not able to provide housing for Angelenos” and more buses “would exacerbate that crisis.”

Bass said that she was surprised Los Angeles hadn’t officially codified its sanctuary city status, because “from my point of view, L.A. had been a sanctuary city from years ago. I did not realize it hadn’t been codified into law. The primary reason for that is to protect immigrants, because we don’t want the Los Angeles Police Department essentially doing the work of ICE, of immigration. Undocumented immigrants are vulnerable. And if they feel like they can’t report a crime, they can’t call public officials or they might be deported, then that compromises the safety of all Angelenos.”

Co-host Juana Summers then asked, “Well, the way I understand it, and I’m just reading from a news release here, this city ordinance ensures that no city resources, property, or personnel are to be used for federal immigration enforcement. So, does this mean, then, that being a sanctuary city essentially translates into Los Angeles is prepared to spend city resources, property, and personnel to help migrants find shelter and services? Is that something that you would stand by as the Mayor of the city?”

Bass answered, “Well, of course. This is a city of immigrants. We have people here from over 100 countries. And obviously, we want to make sure that anybody in our city is protected. We are also a city that has 40,000 unhoused people. And so, we are in the middle of a crisis where we are not able to provide housing for Angelenos. But that should never be an excuse for there to be an anti-immigrant sentiment. And what the governors are doing in these other cities is just a reflection of their xenophobia, of their anti-immigrant ideology. And it’s really political. This is in preparation for the 2024 election. The Republicans plan to run on an anti-immigrant platform, just like they have been doing pretty consistently over the last few years.”

Summers then asked, “But is this city, is Los Angeles in a position to absorb more busloads of migrants should Gov. Abbott or any other Republican leaders send more busloads this way?”

Bass answered, “No, that — well, that’s why I said if what happened to New York happened in Los Angeles, it would send a city that is already in a crisis and it would exacerbate that crisis.”

THERE ARE MORE THAN 17 MILLION ILLEGALS IN CA ALONE. NOW DO THE MATH!

Why Are There SO MANY HOMELESS IN CALIFORNIA?   TOO MANY ILLEGALS!

The nation’s illegal alien population has hit nearly 17 million, an increase of more than two million since President Joe Biden began implementing his Catch and Release network at the United States–Mexico border, an analysis reveals.

The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) released its annual report estimating the size of the illegal alien population residing in the United States.

Based on the latest Census Bureau data, FAIR researchers found that there are at least 16.8 million illegal aliens now living in American communities — an increase of 2.3 million illegal aliens since Biden took office in January 2021 and an increase of 1.3 million illegal aliens since the same time last year.

Chart via Federation for American Immigration Reform

As the illegal alien population skyrockets under Biden, so do the costs to Americans.

“Along with the sharp increase in the illegal alien population comes [sic] sharp increases in costs to American taxpayers,” researchers note:

The unprecedented rate of influx of new illegal aliens over the past year would add $12.6 billion annually to the costs of illegal immigration, bringing the cumulative net cost to at least $163 billion a year. At the current pace of illegal immigration, the annual net cost will exceed $200 billion by 2026. [Emphasis added]

“… [T]he fiscal and social burdens of the Biden administration’s sabotage of our immigration enforcement policies are unsustainable,” FAIR President Dan Stein said in a statement.

Chart via Federation for American Immigration Reform

Researchers also state that at the current pace of illegal immigration, more illegal aliens will have resettled across the U.S. in Biden’s first three years in office than in the entire decade of the 2010s.

“The impact of these policies is causing social upheaval, setting states against other states, big cities against surrounding communities, overwhelming school districts and social service providers, as economic migrants from all across the globe pour across our borders,” Stein said.

Indeed, recent analysis has shown the impact that illegal immigration has on American public schools and hospital systems.

The House Homeland Security Committee detailed how illegal aliens are driving up costs for hospitals with billions in unpaid medical bills that American taxpayers are then forced to subsidize.

Likewise, the Center for Immigration Studies published research this week which reveals that mass immigration has tripled the number of public school students from immigrant-headed households in the U.S. since 1980 and, as a result, “added disproportionately to the number of low-income students in public schools.”

170K Migrants Apprehended in May at Southern Border Doubles Biden’s Inaugural Month

Border Patrol agents along the southwest border with Mexico apprehended nearly 170,000 migrants who crossed between ports of entry in May. While this is down from the more than 183,000 apprehended in April, it is more than double the 71,141 apprehensions in January 2021 — the month President Joe Biden took office.

Border Patrol agents in the nine southwest border sectors apprehended 169,244 migrants who crossed the border between ports of entry in May. This is down by less than eight percent from the 183,079 apprehended in April.

The apprehension numbers do not include an estimated 51,000 migrants who were classified as known got-aways, according to a CBP source not authorized to speak to the media. This brings the number of known migrant crossers to more than 220,000 migrants.

While the Biden administration credited the decrease in apprehensions to new border security and immigration policies, the number is an increase of nearly 125 percent from the 75,316 migrant apprehensions in January 2021 — Joe Biden’s inaugural month.

“As a result of comprehensive planning and preparation efforts, there has been a significant reduction in encounters along the Southwest border since the return to full Title 8 immigration enforcement on May 12,” Senior Official Performing the Duties of CBP Commissioner Troy A. Miller said in a written statement rolling out the May numbers. “As we continue to execute our plans –including delivering strengthened consequences for those who cross unlawfully while expanding access to lawful pathways and processes– we will continue to monitor changes in encounter trends and adjust our response as necessary.”

CBP officials continue claiming to operate a “safe, orderly, and humane immigration system.

“CBP has been executing the Department’s comprehensive plan to secure our borders and build a safe, orderly, and humane immigration system,” CBP officials wrote in the statement releasing the May Southwest Land Border Encounters Report. However, the Biden administration’s appointed Border Patrol sector chiefs continue to tweet examples showing the process is anything but “safe, orderly, and humane,” Breitbart Texas reported.

CBP officials continue to blame the CDC’s Title 42 migrant expulsion program for the high numbers in May:

More than half of the U.S. Border Patrol’s encounters in May occurred prior to the lifting of the CDC’s Title 42 public health Order. From May 1 – 11, U.S. Border Patrol encountered 98,850 individuals between ports of entry along the Southwest border. After the termination of the order as of 11:59 pm ET on May 11 through the end of the month on May 31, U.S. Border Patrol’s encounters between ports of entry along the Southwest border were 70,394.

With four months to go in the current fiscal year, agents appended 1,410,801 migrants. This compares to the 1,442,862 migrants apprehended during the same period last year.

Single adult migrants accounted for 114,886 of the 169,244 migrants apprehended by Border Patrol agents in May (68 percent). So far this year, agents apprehended nearly one million single adult migrants who crossed between ports of entry.

Family units and single unaccompanied minors account for 44,900 and 9,458 apprehensions, respectively.

The apprehension of Chinese migrants at the southern border continues at a historic rate. During May, agents apprehended 2,769 Chinese migrants. This is more than the entire year totals for FY22 and FY21 combined (2,293). So far this fiscal year, agents apprehended 12,480 Chinese nationals along the southwest border with Mexico.

Migrants from Mexico and the Central American northern triangle countries of El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras accounted for 54,140 migrants in May. Another 23,154 came from Venezuela.

BILLIONAIRE GEORGE SOROS IS BARACK OBAMA AND JOE BIDEN'S GODFATHER AND A GLOBALIST FOR NO BORDERS AMERICA- A NATION OVERRUN BY MEXICO!

Viktor Orbán Accuses Soros Scion of Scheming to ‘Incite’ Another Migrant Crisis

LJUBLJANA, LENDAVA, SLOVENIA - 2022/02/21: Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban attends a press conference after signing an agreement with Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa on cross-border regional cooperation in Lendava. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán warned that the Soros empire, the reigns of which will be handed over to 37-year-old scion Alexander, is planning to “incite” another migrant crisis in Europe.

In his weekly radio appearance, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said according to 24.hu that he believed that the latest migrant relocation scheme from the European Union was a result of pressure from George Soros’ son Alex, who is set to take over the $25 billion financial empire.

Orbán, who has long maligned the mal-influence of the 92-year-old Hungarian billionaire in his country and elsewhere, warned that his heir may be more ruthless in achieving the goals of the ‘Open Society’ foundations owned by the family.

The EU migration deal, which was reached earlier this month, was opposed by Hungary and Poland, with both countries objecting to accepting migrants who entered other countries. Under the parameters of the plan, EU member states would either have to accept a number of relocated asylum-seekers per year or pay €20,000 for each migrant refused.

According to Orbán, the plan would see some 8,500 migrants forced onto Hungary, however, the populist leader has so far maintained that he has no intention of abiding by the diktats from Brussels.

The Hungarian leader said that he believed the reason why the deal was struck, seemingly out of nowhere, was as a result of a lobbying effort from Alex Soros, whom he said “dictates an even tougher pace” than his father and that Hungary should prepare for the Soros family to ” incite the migrants, and increase the pressure on Hungary’s southern border.”

“One could say that the Soros empire has struck back, something that’s been forced down the throats of the majority of Europeans,” Mr Orbán said.

On Monday, George Soros announced that he would be handing over the reins of his empire to his son, 37-year-old Alexander “Alex” Sorors. For his part, Alex Soros has claimed to be “more political” than his globalist financier father.

In an interview this week with the Wall Street Journal, Soros said that he would continue to pursue hard-left policies on issues such as abortion, voting, and gender equality.

Following the announcement of the handover, Orbán was quick to respond, posting a gif on his Twitter account from The Godfather, showing Vito Corleone kissing his son Micheal, along which the Hungarian leader wrote: “Soros 2.0”.

In his Friday radio appearance, Orbán went on to accuse George Soros of acting as a “war speculator” and trying to stymie attempts from figures such as himself to peacefully negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine.

This was the reason why the Soros family, he claimed, is attacking former U.S. President Donald Trump “with all its means,” given Trump’s persistent calls for peace talks between Moscow and Kyiv.

“The pro-war camp [is] attacking with full force. That’s what you get nowadays if you’re on the side of peace. Keep on fighting, Mr. President! The world needs you, the world needs peace,” Orban said to Mr Trump on Friday following the latest arrest of the former president.

‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ Teams with Soros-Backed American Immigration Council

Sony’s animated blockbuster Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has released an ad in partnership with a George Soros-backed group whose goal is to import more cheap immigrant labor.

The American Immigration Council (AIC) is taking credit for the PSA — but instead of mentioning immigration, the Hollywood partnership is being marketed as a plea for “belonging,” with the goal of creating a “more welcoming nation.”

The Spider-Man tie-in consists of a 30-second video featuring characters from the hit sequel accompanied by a voice-over urging greater acceptance of others.

“It doesn’t take a superhero to bring forces together. We all have the power to reach out and help someone feel like they belong,” the narrator says.

Watch below:

Spider-Man is partnering with a group called Belonging Begins with Us, which is a project of AIC — the Soros-backed organization that is trying to flood the country with cheap labor by pushing for more immigration as well as amnesty for some illegal aliens.

Belonging Begins with Us works with the Ad Council to partner with prominent brands and entertainment titles in an attempt to push its soft message of “belonging” and “welcoming.”

“Belonging” has emerged as a key marketing buzzword for the AIC, which defines it as a “fundamental human need, and one that is linked to many of the most complex challenges of our time.”  The organization has even published a study titled “The Belonging Barometer,” which calls for greater acceptance of “non-citizen immigrants” and other groups.

“The Americans who report being treated as ‘less than’ tend to be younger, first-generation or non-citizen immigrants, identify as non-Hispanic white, or identify as a gender minority,” the study concludes. “The range of demographic categories who reported being treated as ‘less than others.'”

The Hollywood push comes amid falling support for immigration, as the Biden administration’s open-border policies have resulted in an unprecedented tsunami of illegal border crossings.

As Breitbart News reported, a YouGov poll found a growing plurality of citizens alongside almost two out of three Republicans say immigration makes the nation “worse off.”

Spider-Verse 2, which is a Marvel Studios production, is poised to become one of the biggest movies of the summer. The sequel has so far grossed $225 million domestically and is in the midst of its global rollout.

The Soros network may go through a shakeup in the coming years, as the infamous left-wing billionaire has handed over the reins of his activism-charity projects to his millennial son Alex.

Wanted Killers Among 2 Million Illegal Aliens Freed into U.S. by Biden’s DHS

US President Joe Biden during a Pride Month celebration event at the White House in Washington, DC, US, on Saturday, June 10, 2023. Biden this week announced new federal efforts designed to help LGBTQ youth and counter book bans following Republican efforts at the state and local level to pass …
ICE/Nathan Howard/Bloomberg

Wanted killers are among the more than two million border crossers and illegal aliens that Rep. Tom McClintock (R-CA) estimates have been released into the United States since President Joe Biden took office in late January 2021.

Late last month, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested a 50-year-old illegal alien from Brazil, and a member of the nation’s largest criminal gang known as Primeiro Comando Da Capital, who was convicted of murder.

The illegal alien gang member first crossed the U.S.-Mexico border near San Luiz, Arizona, in March of this year. At the time, he was apprehended by Border Patrol agents and put into deportation proceedings.

Subsequently, thanks to the Biden administration’s expansive catch and release network, the illegal alien gang member was given a Notice to Appear (NTA) before a federal immigration judge and released into the nation’s interior.

RJ Hauman, president of the newly-formed National Immigration Center for Enforcement (NICE), told Breitbart News that the illegal alien gang member’s case “is yet another dangerous example of flaws in the ‘vetting’ that the Biden Administration says occurs when illegal aliens are encountered at the border and then released into the country.”

“The Border Patrol has no access to foreign criminal databases. The only way they would know about an illegal alien’s criminal record is if they committed a crime while here. So what are we supposed to do, believe everything an illegal alien says?” Hauman continued. “[F]ortunately, the brave men and women of ICE saved the day. When will their open-borders political leaders finally be held accountable?”

NICE, like the majority of Americans, backs full enforcement of the nation’s immigration laws — supporting ICE agents’ authority to quickly and easily arrest and deport illegal aliens.

In a similar case, twice-deported illegal alien Edickson Paulino Castano, 52 years old, was recently deported for the third time from the U.S. after he had been released into the U.S. interior on an order of supervision in September 2021.

Castano is wanted for murder in his native Dominican Republic.

John Fabbricatore, an advisory board member for NICE and a retired ICE Field Office Director, told Breitbart News that Biden’s “laissez-faire attitude” toward enforcement is resulting in “illegal aliens, including violent criminals continually being released” into the U.S. interior.

“The Border Patrol is being instructed to quickly process and release as fast as they can into the interior of the country. They take whatever they’re told as the truth, and the illegal alien is long gone before international warrants can be discovered,” Fabbricatore continued:

Criminal cases are dangerously being pushed into our communities in blatant disregard of federal law. While [Enforcement and Removal Operations] Boston did a great job of making this arrest, we can’t ignore the fact that an illegal alien murderer was released into the country. INTERPOL notices can take days or a few weeks to send out an alert for an update for an investigation. [Emphasis added]

The blatant disregard of federal law by the Biden administration is putting this country in danger. How many convicted criminals have been allowed to enter or have entered undetected since the start of this administration? How many known or suspected terrorists? Congress must get to the bottom of this, and fast. [Emphasis added]

Both illegal aliens are among the more than two million border crossers and illegal aliens that Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has released into American communities since early 2021.

During a recent hearing by the House Judiciary’s Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement, Chairman McClintock noted that such a foreign population, “deliberately released into this country,” is equivalent to the population of Nebraska.

Those released into the U.S. interior by DHS are not the only illegal aliens to be added to the nation’s population since Biden took office.

“Meanwhile, more than a million and a half known got-aways have also entered illegally, an additional illegal population the size of Hawaii,” McClintock said:

For Americans, it means classrooms flooded with non-English speaking students, hospitals overwhelmed with illegal immigrants demanding care, fentanyl poisoning our young people, catastrophic strains on the social safety net meant to help Americans in need … working wages suppressed by a flood of cheap, illegal labor. [Emphasis added]

And now we observe the irony of officials in so-called sanctuary cities like New York and Chicago and sanctuary states like California warning that they cannot handle this influx. [Emphasis added]

Former Acting Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Joseph Edlow told the subcommittee that Biden’s DHS was focused on giving mass parole to border crossers and illegal aliens to get them into the nation’s interior but now is using NTAs to mass release those arriving at the southern border.

“For the most part, there are more interests in — it was paroling people in — now it’s giving Notices to Appear and letting people go along their way,” Edlow said. “There is not an interest in detaining as far as I can see.”
