President Joe Biden plans to fix the border meltdown by inviting economic migrants to come in legally, Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) said in a conversation with Stephen Miller, the former immigration deputy in President Donald Trump’s White House.

The legal changes are buried in the Democrats’ Build Back Better bill, which is scheduled for a House vote as early as Friday, November 5.

If the Democrats’ bill becomes law, Biden “is going to be able to say, ‘Hey, we got the border under control,'” Blackburn told Miller.

“Well, no,” she added. “What [Biden] did was to open a door over here where [he’s] going to let people pay $2,500 … Come in, get citizenship, and then reap the benefits,” she said.

“You’re not supposed to be changing law in a reconciliation budget bill,” she added. Democrats “know this would never pass, so they’re going to try to get this provision through in the [fast-track] budget bill, and we want to get the word out on it.” Miller responded:

It’s really important that people speak out about this as much as they can. As you know from personal experience, most Democrats in Congress just do what they’re told by [House Speaker Nancy]  Pelosi and [Senate Majority Leader Chuck] Schumer and do not exercise any independent thought whatsoever.

Miller described the pending immigration changes in the Democrats’ bill.

“Little attention has been given to the immigration provisions, which are truly breathtaking in scope and would completely, completely, reorder American society,” he said, adding:

First, and simplest really, is a giant amnesty for most of the nation’s illegal immigrant population …

The second is a very shocking provision, which I know you, Senator, have been very concerned about, which allows people to effectively Buy American citizenship for a relatively small fee …

How does it do this? Under federal law, there are some categories of immigration that are expressly capped [at roughly one million per year for all legal immigration].

These categories include chain migration and foreign workers [hired by U.S. companies]. So there are specific [annual] caps Congress has established on both of these to ensure that there isn’t unlimited immigration, that there’s some measure of control, as every society has. In fact, a lot of people would argue, if anything, that the caps are too generous.

What this bill does is, it says even if you can’t get into the country right away — because there’s a [annual] cap on chain migration or a cap on foreign-worker migration, for a fee of $2,500 for a family of chain migrants, or for a fee of $5,000 for foreign workers — that would primarily be in the big tech space — you can get a green card, come to America, stay here for life.

So literally, an unlimited number of people can come into the country for this fee, be put on a path to citizenship, no special criteria, no merit-based sorting, no demonstration of any particular contribution. It’s just “Give the money and get in.”

The bill is a huge threat to Americans who want to earn college degrees to better their lives, he said:

It will mean that if you’re a college student graduating in Tennessee and you want to go work for one of these big technology companies, make a great living, and be able to support your family, [the companies] can just instead go get a foreign worker for much less than they would pay an American worker.

That I think is a great tragedy, and I’m frankly astonished that this has been put in the bill without getting any real national attention.

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) also focused on the section’s impact for American technology grads in a November 3 op-ed at Fox News.

The current draft of the Democrat’s bill also includes a nearly unprecedented assault on the livelihoods of American tech workers. In service of their big money donors, Democrats intend to authorize green cards for hundreds of thousands of foreign tech workers. On day one, Democrats want to open the floodgates to 200,000 such workers.

The tech industry has been subsidized with cheap foreign labor for long enough. Silicon Valley should invest in upskilling the American workforce instead of using their money to lobby Congress for a new giveaway.

Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-TN) is also calling attention to the bill’s green-cards-for-cash rule.

Many polls show that labor migration is deeply unpopular because it damages ordinary Americans’ career opportunities, cuts their wages, and raises their rents. Migration also curbs Americans’ productivity, shrinks their political clout, widens regional wealth gaps, and radicalizes their democratic, compromise-promoting civic culture.

For many years, a wide variety of pollsters have shown deep and broad opposition to labor migration and the inflow of temporary contract workers into jobs sought by young U.S. graduates. This opposition is multiracialcross-sexnon-racistclass-basedbipartisanrationalpersistent, and recognizes the solidarity Americans owe to each other.

Crenshaw: Proposal to Pay Illegal Immigrants, Vaccine Mandates ‘Why Virginia Went the Way It Did’

2:26

Representative Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) slammed the Biden administration for a reported proposal to pay reparations to illegal immigrants who were separated from their families after illegally crossing the border during an appearance on Thursday’s broadcast of FNC’s “The Story.”

He also questioned the so-called Build Back Better agenda, vaccine mandates and tax breaks for blue states. He claimed that was “why Virginia went the way it did.”

“Well, they’re all over the place, whether it’s about the Build Back Better agenda or about what they’re doing with illegal immigration at the border,” Crenshaw said. “So it should be obvious to everybody there, they’re doing nothing. The only actions they’ve taken so far to secure our border are against Border Patrol agents who are trying to block people from coming across, you know, doing their jobs. So that’s the only thing they’ve done so far.”

“But they’re also taking more action,” he continued. “They want to pay the people $450,000. Now, to put this into context, it’s worth noting that if your family member who’s serving in our military gets killed in action, gets killed in Afghanistan, or Iraq, or in one of our wars, you would get $400,000 worth of insurance payments back to your family. So Biden administration thinks that the crimes against the families that were separated under Trump are so extreme, and even if you believe they deserve some kind of compensation, but they believe they’re so extreme that they deserve $450,000. And again, let’s add some more context here. Businesses in America, under their new vaccine mandate, could be fined up to $130,000.”

“Meanwhile, under the Build Back Better agenda, let’s not forget, they want to give rich New Yorkers a tax deduction through SALTs of up to $30,000,” Crenshaw added. “So this is the kind of priorities that this administration has. They won’t secure your border, but they will pay off illegal immigrants. They’ll give tax breaks to the rich donors and high tax states like New York and New Jersey and California. And they’re going to screw you over if you don’t force all your employees to get vaccines, and they’re going to find you as a result. So it’s — this is what America is so angry about. It’s why Virginia went the way it did.”

Bidenflation: Labor Costs Soar Even While Real Worker Pay Crashes

U.S. businesses paid sharply higher labor costs in the third quarter to produce their goods and services—even though hourly compensation for workers fell after adjusting for inflation.

So-called unit-labor costs soared 8.3 percent in the period from July through September, the Bureau of Labor Statistics said Thursday.

These costs indicate how much a business spends to produce one unit of output.

At the same time, consumer prices have been rising faster than hourly compensation, a measure that includes wages, salaries, benefits, employer contributions to benefit plans, and taxes. The Bureau of Labor Statistics said that hourly compensation rose at a seasonally adjusted, annualized rate of 2.9 percent in the quarter, near its average in the decade before the pandemic. But after adjusting for inflation, hourly compensation fell at an annual rate of 3.5 percent.

The Personal Consumption Expenditures price index rose 5.3 percent in the third quarter.

The government also said on Thursday that labor productivity, a measure of how long it takes to produce of unit of output, fell by the most since 1981.

Illegal Alien, Freed into U.S. by Biden After Lying About His Identity, Charged with Murdering Father of Four

An illegal alien charged with murdering a 46-year-old man in Jacksonville, Florida, was released into the United States by President Joe Biden’s administration after lying about his identity.

Yery Noel Medina Ulloa, a 24-year-old illegal alien from Honduras, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the death of Francisco Javier Cuellar, a father of four children. Prosecutors are also seeking a first-degree murder indictment.

On October 6, eyewitnesses called the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office after they saw Ulloa walking down a road covered in blood. When police arrived, they set up a perimeter and quickly found Ulloa before retracing his steps back to a residence.

When police entered the residence, they found Cuellar in the living room, dead.

One witness questioned by police said Ulloa had called him to state that he murdered Cuellar because the man had hit him and later texted the witness to write that he “killed Uncle Francisco,” referring to Cuellar.

Eventually, police recovered surveillance footage in the living room of the residence where they state that Ulloa can be seen repeatedly stabbing Cuellar to death and beating him with a piece of furniture. When police searched the wooded area near the residence, they found a bloody knife.

Ulloa, who turned 24 last week, duped Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) when he showed up at the U.S.-Mexico border months ago, claiming he was an Unaccompanied Alien Child (UAC) named “Reynel Alexander Hernandez,” according to a Univision interview with Ulloa’s mother.

“When he entered [the U.S.] he told me, ‘Mommy, I didn’t go in with my name,'” his mother, Wendy Florencia Ulloa, said, adding that he explained, “‘I went in with the name of another person because right there at the shelter they helped me.'”

After lying to DHS officials, Ulloa was released into the U.S. and given only a Notice to Appear (NTA) in immigration proceedings. Ulloa’s mother said Cuellar was not actually her son’s uncle, nor where they related to him.

“‘I live with him. But don’t worry, he treats me like a son,'” Ulloa reportedly told his mother.

Ulloa moved in with Cuellar, who reportedly gave him a job at La Raza Mexican Store, the family’s business.

Unclear is how Ulloa arrived in Florida.

Last month, a New York Post report detailed how the Biden administration has been flying thousands of border crossers and UACs to various states, including New York, Connecticut, and Florida, in the middle of the night.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki confirmed the overnight flights, justifying them as routine DHS operations as part of its UAC resettlement process.

“In recent weeks, unaccompanied children passed through the Westchester airport … en route to their final destination … It’s no surprise that kids can be seen traveling through states, not just New York … but in other parts of the country as well,” Psaki said.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis slammed Biden’s mass release of border crossers into the U.S. interior, which allegedly resulted in Cuellar’s murder.

“[Ulloa] has been detained, should have never been in this country, to begin with, and definitely should not have been dumped in the state of Florida,” DeSantis told the Post.

“This is not the way you keep people safe, it’s reckless, and it’s wrong,” DeSantis continued. “… I’m going to see what we can do … of course, [I] have a pending lawsuit against the administration challenging their catch and release policies. But this is what happens when you engage in reckless policies.”

Ulloa is currently being held at the Duval County Jail. His next pretrial hearing is on November 30.

Over half a million border crossers and illegal aliens were released into the U.S. interior since January by the Biden administration, data revealed last month. From October 2020 to August 2021, nearly 92,500 UACs, alone, have been resettled across the U.S.

EXCLUSIVE: 50K Migrants Elude Border Patrol in October

The number of migrants crossing the border without being apprehended since the start of Fiscal Year 2022 is more than 50,000, according to a U.S. Customs and Border Protection source. This figure represents an estimate of the total number of migrants believed to have escaped into the U.S. interior without apprehension by Border Patrol.

According to the source, more than 400,000 “got-away” migrants were recorded during the last fiscal year which ended on September 30. In Fiscal Year 2020, an estimated 69,000 migrants managed to avoid apprehension by the Border Patrol.

The source says the numbers are not a good sign this early in the fiscal year. In addition to the nearly 160,000 migrants the Border Patrol encountered during the month of October; more than 15,000 were arrested during the first three days of November. The Border Patrol is overwhelmed by the need to process and provide humanitarian care to more than 5,000 migrants per day during a pandemic.

The got-away metric is usually not officially released. The number is determined by counting migrants who ultimately escape apprehension after being observed by surveillance systems. Border Patrol agents also use traditional sign-cutting techniques to spot footprints. It is not a perfect investigative method, however, and sources say the actual got-away count is usually greater.

The reduced number of actual Border Patrol agents available to perform routine duties means there are fewer opportunities to locate and document evidence of escaped migrants. The source says fresh footprints are erased by the elements in short order and traffic flow awareness is impeded when patrols are cancelled.

EAGLE PASS, Texas — In separate events, local Border Patrol Agents and their Brackettville-stationed colleagues apprehended migrants from two counties designated by the Department of Homeland Security as “special interest.” The arrests triggered immediate reporting to DHS headquarters. According to a source within Customs and Border Protection, the incidents occurred on Monday and involved one group of 13 Eritreans and a separate family of three from Uzbekistan.

The source says the first arrests took place in Eagle Pass when agents spotted 13 mostly male Eritrean nationals attempting to evade arrest. The Eritreans were in a residential neighborhood several miles from the Rio Grande.

In an unrelated event, three members of an Uzbek family were arrested by Border Patrol in Brackettville. The Uzbek nationals traveled more than 25 miles inland after crossing near Eagle Pass. The familynconsisted of a mother and two children. According to the source, the Uzbek mother paid smugglers nearly $15,000 to reach the U.S. border.

The Uzbek woman told Border Patrol agents she was a schoolteacher and moved her two children from Uzbekistan to Turkey, Ecuador, Columbia, Panama, and Mexico, eventually reaching the United States.

The U.S. State Department currently lists Uzbekistan and Eritrea as a “Level 4: Do Not Travel” countries.

Eritrea and Uzbekistan are on the Department of Homeland Security’s list of special interest countries. The designation of special interest migrant is related to the travel pattern and conditions within the home country, rather than specific threats.

According to DHS, the designation of special interest migrant is different than the designation of an individual migrant known or suspected of terrorism. The term “Special Interest Migrant” and “Known or Suspected Terrorist” (KST) are not interchangeable.
