Report: Merrick Garland Identified as Official Misleading Congress in Hunter Biden Tax Probe
Attorney General Merrick Garland is the previously unidentified official who, according to an IRS whistleblower, misled Congress about the Justice Department’s probe into Hunter Biden, a report alleged Friday.
Garland refused to name a special counsel in Hunter’s tax investigation to provide a degree of separation between President Joe Biden and his Justice Department.

Garland has repeatedly testified before Congress that U.S. Attorney David Weiss has the “full authority” to make a criminal referral against Hunter without the permission of the Justice Department. Garland noted he would personally have to “authorize” any charges.
“There will not be interference of any political or improper kind” in the investigation of Hunter led by Weiss, Garland insisted in April 2022.
But the IRS whistleblower believes that Garland’s claims have misled Congress. The IRS agent’s attorney explained that his client can “contradict sworn testimony to Congress by a senior political appointee” — whom the New York Post identified as Garland.
As early as 2019, Hunter has been under investigation by Weiss, the Trump-appointed U.S. attorney for Delaware, for potential tax and gun violations. Yet no charges have been levied.
“There’s enough to indict Hunter Biden now, there was enough to indict Hunter Biden three or four years ago with what’s on the laptop,” House Oversight Committee chair James Comer (R-KY) exclaimed on Lou Dobbs’ podcast. “So for whatever reason, this U.S. attorney hasn’t produced very many results.”
The tax probe into Hunter could implicate President Joe Biden. A witness who testified before the jury was reportedly asked to identify the “big guy.”

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) told Breitbart News he believes Garland and Biden are culpable for the alleged abuses.
“Under President Biden and Attorney General Garland, America is not equally applying justice and the rule of law. They are both equally culpable and responsible for abuse alleged by the IRS whistleblower,” he said.

A retired CIA leader coordinated a letter from former intelligence chiefs claiming that Hunter Biden's laptop was Russian disinformation because he wanted to help Joe Biden's presidential campaign.
Morell was a former acting CIA director, serving for two months in 2011 and four months from 2012 to 2013. He retired from the CIA in September 2013.
The House Judiciary Committee, led by Jim Jordan, is currently investigating Hunter Biden's laptop, as well as the Biden family businesses.
Morell 'recently' conducted a transcribed interview with Jordan's team and was asked about the Biden campaign's response to the laptop.

The laptop, which had been left in a Delaware repair store, was touted by Rudy Giuliani, Donald Trump's lawyer, as providing evidence of supposed corruption among the Biden family.
The Biden campaign said the efforts to publicize the contents of the laptop bore the hallmarks of a Russian disinformation campaign.
The laptop included explicit photos of the troubled Hunter Biden naked, with prostitutes, and taking drugs, as well as multiple emails and texts between the 53-year-old and his father.
Morell said that he was asked by Blinken to rally former intelligence chiefs to agree that the laptop looked like a smear campaign.
He carried out 'a little bit of my own research,' and then reached out to retired CIA senior operations officer Marc Polymeropoulos for assistance in compiling the letter.
The letter was ultimately signed by 51 former intelligence officials, including himself and four other former CIA directors, including John Brennan and Leon Panetta.
The letter was published by Politico five days after The New York Post first reported on the contents of the laptop.
The headline for Politico's story, on October 19, 2020, was: 'Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former officials say.'
The letter alleged that The New York Post story 'has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.'
Several media outlets, including DailyMail.com, have since confirmed the contents of the laptop and that it belonged to Hunter Biden.

Joe Biden used the letter during the October 22 debate against Donald Trump, saying he thought the reporting around his son's abandoned computer was the work of Russia.
Morell was thanked for his work in coordinating the letter, with Steve Ricchetti, chairman of the Biden campaign, telephoning him after the debate to say thank you.
He was then said to be in consideration for the role of CIA director - a job that ultimately went to William Burns.
Morell, who has been a consultant, strategist, lecturer and author since his resignation almost a decade ago, said he was never formally in talks for the role.
On Thursday, Jordan and Michael Turner, the chairman of the Select Committee on Intelligence, wrote to Blinken requesting his communications with Morell around the laptop.
They issued a statement accusing Morell and the other intel chiefs of 'concerted effort to minimize and suppress' information harmful to the Biden campaign.
'Based on Morell's testimony, it is apparent that the Biden campaign played an active role in the origins of the public statement, which had the effect of helping to suppress the Hunter Biden story and preventing American citizens from making a fully informed decision during the 2020 presidential election,' they wrote.
'Although the statement's signatories have an unquestioned right to free speech and free association—which we do not dispute—their reference to their national security credentials lent weight to the story and suggested access to specialized information unavailable to other Americans.
'This concerted effort to minimize and suppress public dissemination of the serious allegations about the Biden family was a grave disservice to all American citizens' informed participation in our democracy.'

White House Denies Whistleblower Accusations
The White House on Thursday denied whistleblower accusations that it is giving "preferential treatment" to first son Hunter Biden in the federal investigation into Biden's finances.
White House spokesman Ian Sams, who has a long history of mismanaging responses to Democrats' scandals, said that President Joe Biden has upheld his commitment to keep the investigation "free from any political interference," Fox News reported.
News broke last night that an IRS whistleblower is "offering to provide Congress with evidence that the Biden Justice Department has pulled punches in an investigation into Hunter Biden's taxes for political reasons," the Washington Free Beacon reported. The whistleblower also accuses Attorney General Merrick Garland of misleading Congress about the probe. The U.S. attorney for Delaware is investigating Hunter Biden's unpaid taxes, foreign business activities, and foreign lobbying activities, as well as a gun incident that took place near his home in Wilmington, Del.
The whistleblower's attorney, Mark Lytle, says his client, who oversees the investigation, has seen evidence of possible perjury by a "senior political appointee," conflicts of interest, "preferential treatment," and "politics improperly infecting" the investigation, the Free Beacon reported:
The allegations are sure to spark a firestorm on Capitol Hill, and could raise questions about whether the administration has interfered in investigations of Hunter Biden's business activities, which have involved other members of the Biden family. The allegations could also pose problems for Garland, who is said to be the senior political appointee mentioned in Lytle's letter.
"Since taking office, the White House has maintained that the president never spoke to his son about his business dealings," Fox News noted.
Rep. Nancy Mace (R., S.C.) said Wednesday that she'd seen evidence that the first family had business dealings involving "astronomical" amounts of money, some of which went to "prostitution rings," the Free Beacon reported. Mace and other members of the House Oversight Committee are examining the Biden family's murky business dealings, including with Chinese and Ukrainian companies.

Report: Joe Biden’s White House Involved in Raid on Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Residence
President Joe Biden’s administration was involved in the raid of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence through a “special access request,” according to documents obtained from the National Archives by America First Legal.
On August 8, 2022, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) raided Mar-a-Lago on the grounds of retrieving alleged classified documents. According to the establishment media, Biden administration officials were “stunned” to hear of the unprecedented action. The Archives also claimed that it had “not been involved in the DOJ investigation.”
But documents show the FBI obtained access to the records through a “special access request” from the Biden White House on behalf of the DOJ, contradicting what the Archives told Congress, America First Legal revealed Monday:
Notably, despite the Archives’ claim that it had “not been involved in the DOJ investigation,” the documents show that the Archives’ official responsible for administering all access requests for Presidential records, John Laster, was involved in preparing the 15 boxes for FBI review as late as August 23, 2022:
On October 25, 2022, Acting Archivist Wall wrote to then-Ranking Members James Comer and Jim Jordan, claiming “NARA received the 15 boxes from President Trump on January 18, 2022, and then discovered that they contained classified national security information. Shortly after the discovery, NARA consulted with its Office of Inspector General (OIG), which operates independently of NARA. As DOJ has disclosed publicly in court filings, NARA’s OIG subsequently referred the matter to DOJ on February 9, 2022.”
If the OIG acted independently in making a referral to the FBI, then Mr. Laster would not have involved himself in the FBI’s review of the 15 boxes in his capacity as the Director of the White House Liaison Division “responsible for all access requests for Presidential records.” Similarly, the FBI affidavit before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida that provided the probable cause for the issuance of a search warrant against Mar-a-Lago on August 8, 2022, stated, “[on February 9, 2022] the Special Agent in Charge of NARA’s Office of the Inspector General sent the NARA Referral via email to DOJ.” However, the evidence is that the Biden White House and the Department of Justice coordinated to obtain the Trump records, and perhaps create a pretext for a law enforcement raid, by way of a “special access request.”
“The special access statute authorizes special access requests to an incumbent president only when the records in question are needed for ‘the conduct of current business’ of the White House,” America First Legal explained. “Providing documents to the DOJ for purposes of a criminal investigation is not the ‘current business’ of the White House.”
Reed D. Rubinstein, senior counselor and director of oversight and investigations, released a statement ripping the White House’s reported role in the FBI raid of Trump’s home.
“The evidence further suggests that Biden officials in the Executive Office of the President and the Department of Justice unlawfully abused their power and then lied about it to the American people,” he said. “This government, it seems, acknowledges no limits on its power to harass, intimidate, and silence its political opponents.”
America First Legal has vowed to keep investigating the developing scandal.
Attorney General Merrick Garland has appointed Special Counsel Jack Smith to handle the probe into documents that Trump took at the end of his presidency.
Trump has recently called the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago “illegal and unconstitutional.” He also scolded Smith as a “radical left lunatic known as a bomb thrower who is harassing hundreds of my people day after day over the boxes hoax.”

Christopher Wray and the Politicization of the FBI
The Federal Bureau of Investigation has shocked many Americans by becoming a politicized law enforcement arm of the Democrat party. As the target of one of the FBI and Department of Justice political attacks -- solely because I had been talking to Ukrainian whistleblowers about Biden family corruption in that country -- I want to discuss the problem. It starts with the most political Director of the FBI, Christopher Wray.
DOJ's arrest policies
When Merrick Garland was questioned about why excessive force was used in the arrest of Mark Houck, an anti-abortion activist who had offered to turn himself in, the Attorney General evaded responsibility for the policy by saying,
“The determinations of how to make arrests under arrest warrants are made based by the tactical operators in the district. They made the decision on the ground as to what was safest and easiest.”
Garland did not comment on the enormous expense of sending a SWAT team to arrest a father of seven. Also not mentioned was the fact that this early morning raid tactic, first developed by the Soviet KGB, is frequently used to arrest non-violent targets.
Early morning or pre-dawn raids are designed for maximum humiliation and intimidation. Dozens of federal agents with automatic weapons, armored vehicles, and sometimes a helicopter and amphibious watercraft are used intimidate the target, as was the case with Roger Stone. In the raid on Thomas Caldwell’s home, Caldwell’s 61-year-old wife was covered in red dots from the weapons aimed at her. She begged to put on her socks before they forced her outside in the cold. Caldwell himself, clad only in his underwear, was dragged through the grass. James O’Keefe claims he was partially clothed in front of his neighbors when he was dragged out of his apartment.
The federal government has a constitutional right to arrest people for certain offenses. When it goes to enormous expense to arrest cooperating subjects, there is another motive to their actions. Intimidation and humiliation are not proper components of an arrest. There is also the factor that SWAT raids can go terribly wrong. Innocent people have been killed in their homes. The federal government has a history of heavy-handed attacks. It paid Randy Weaver $3.1 Million for the murder of this wife and son. There was also the Waco siege resulting in 75 deaths, including 25 children.
The Justice Department may be overzealous in some areas while in other areas they are reluctant to enforce the law. Merrick Garland claimed he was not aware of guidelines given to the U.S. Marshals Service to "avoid" arresting protesters outside the homes of Supreme Court justices. These protesters were in violation of 18 USC § 1507, which prohibits picketing with the intent of influencing any judge. Pro-abortion protesters have publicized the justices’ home addresses, the schools attended by their children, and their houses of worship. The protesters posed a serious threat to the justices and their families. Nicholas John Roske was arrested because he traveled to D.C. to assassinate Judge Kavanaugh. Garland’s response to these protests seems to contradict his claim that, “Threats against public servants are not only illegal, they run counter to our nation’s core values.”

How Could a Democrat Voter Learn the Truth?
I'm a lifelong Republican voter, born and raised in Massachusetts. My Dad is a well informed, outspoken, rock-ribbed conservative republican. I remember him putting a Barry Goldwater bumper sticker on our station wagon in 1964, when we lived in tough, blue-collar Worcester. This man is afraid of nothing.
I was afforded many opportunities to listen to lively political discourse at family events while I was growing up. These people loved one another, so the discussions were never nasty or hurtful. Most of the younger members of the family watching these discussions eventually gravitated toward being Republicans. Family fights and ugly words would not have produced that result. That was an important lesson.
It's no secret that deep-blue Massachusetts breeds rabid leftist ideologues — it's the state's chief export (and I do mean chief). However, those people aren't anywhere near the majority in Massachusetts, even though they run the place. The fact is, these people aren't the majority anywhere, though they try to convince us otherwise.
Here is the problem in a nutshell. Most Democrat voters don't realize that leftist idealogues have hijacked the Democrat party, actively pushing traditional Democrat politicians out. They don't yet understand that the Democrat party they knew doesn't exist anymore. Almost all of the major news organizations work together to lie to Democrat voters and feed them misinformation constantly. Corrupted government entities like the FBI and the DOJ, and the leftists running all social media, have worked together to censor and silence any dissenting voices. The goal is to create a false reality in the eyes of Democrat voters and shield them from the truth. This is vital to ensure their continued support on Election Day.
Most Democrat voters I talk to up here are comparatively normal, although deceived and misinformed. Most of them don't seem to like leftists very much, though. Many of them can't identify with their own party anymore and feel like displaced persons politically. When he was voted in as House minority leader, Hakeem Jeffries received 100% of the vote from his party. It's interesting that he had only a 35% approval rating among Democrat voters at the time. That left 65% who disapproved. That tells me that, yes, the leftists have hijacked the Democrat party, and it tells me that there's a large pool of Democrat voters who aren't on board with their party right now. Quite a few of them are starting to tune out, too. Have you seen CNN's ratings lately?
We have a rare opportunity. Shocking levels of malfeasance and corruption from leftist Democrats have recently been revealed to the public. They can no longer hide what they really are and what they're doing to this country. Let's dialogue with that disillusioned 65% and show them the evidence. They have no one else to tell them the truth. It's the only way to undermine the stranglehold leftists currently have on the Democrat party.
I'm not saying we should waste our time trying to talk to people who wear "pussy hats" and take their toddlers to Drag Queen Story Hour. Only a psychiatrist can help people like those. I'm saying that we can, and we should, try to engage positively with reasonable Democrat voters about the current state of the country.
First, we need to get the idea out of our heads that every democrat voter is a Marxist. Many are, there's no doubt. However, the guy next door mowing his lawn and taking his kids to Little League is not a Marxist. He's a guy who never hears the truth, doesn't know where to find it, is probably part of the 65% who aren't Hakeem Jeffries fans, and is likely to have tuned out of current events to keep from losing his mind. He just doesn't know enough to stop pulling the "D" lever on election day. If the truth can find Naomi Wolfe, then we can reach this guy.
Below are a few subject ideas, with some information links to show people. As you see below, try to ask non-confrontational questions, and know your facts. Remember, we're trying to expose reasonable Democrat voters to truths the lying media never let them see, not win an argument. Try to guide them to good-quality, well sourced information on sites like American Thinker, Breitbart News, American Greatness, etc. If you can expose them to the truth, they won't be able to unsee it.
Right Track, Wrong Track
Did you know that nearly 70% of Americans polled think the country is on the "wrong track" at this point? That's 7 out of 10 Americans. Do you agree with that majority? Do you think most Democrats you know agree with the majority? Who do you think makes up the small group who feels like everything is just fine?
Government Censorship
Have you heard any information from the so-called "Twitter Files" on the news? Are you comfortable with the idea of the FBI, and even the White House, censoring free speech on social media? It's clear now that the federal government worked to eliminate all opposing political views, tried to remove people who disagreed with the Democrat party, and hid important medical information from the public. Are you aware that it is a violation of the U.S. Constitution for the federal government to engage in censorship of any kind? Have you ever seen the government behaving like this before?
Untrustworthy Media and Politicians
President Biden, various Democrat politicians, and the media keep repeating that President Trump said white supremacists were "very fine people" at Charlottesville. They also say he never condemned the white supremacists. These people are knowingly lying. Did you ever actually see the transcript of President Trump's full remarks at Charlottesville?
We've been told for two years that the protest on January 6 was an "armed insurrection." That claim has been used to justify the arrest and incarceration of hundreds of people, and used to justify the censorship of those who disagree with the Democrat party. No one outside the January 6 Committee was allowed to see any of the supposed evidence supporting all this government activity. Recently, hidden security tapes were seized and finally made public by the speaker of the House, who allowed Tucker Carlson to play them on his news show. Did you see any of the revelations from these security tapes? If so, what did you think when you saw that we've been lied to by our government? Do you still trust President Biden, Democrat politicians, or the mainstream media to tell you the truth about important issues?
Enemies of the State?
President Biden repeatedly says that he considers conservative Republicans "enemies of the state" (here and here), as do other Democrat politicians. Do you agree that fully half the country's voters are "enemies of the state," simply because they don't agree with President Biden and current Democrat policies? Are you comfortable with President Biden recklessly taunting American citizens (here and here) during speeches, saying that they would "need F-15s" to prevent the federal government from basically trampling our guaranteed constitutional rights? Have you ever heard a U.S. president saying things like these before?
The IRS Went Down to Georgia to Steal an Election
The Democrats were in a bind, falling behind and looking to make a steal.
An estimated 3.5 million people voted in the Georgia Senate runoff election. State Voices, a leftist nonprofit, claimed that it had made 3 million voter contacts for the runoff.
ProGeorgia, the local partner for State Voices, bragged of having conducted “31,000 face-to-face conversations, 10 million texts, and 133,000 phone conversations” and of registering “tens of thousands for the midterm election” so that “voters of color turned out in early voting at higher levels than their white counterparts”. Such an outcome was inherently partisan and could and only did benefit one particular party: the Democrats.
While such claims are commonplace among party activists, State Voices and Pro-Georgia are both 501(c)(3) nonprofits. That means that they’re funded by tax-deductible contributions and are not supposed to be involved in elections. But they’re also typical of a massive network of political nonprofits which not only advocate for the Left but help Democrats win races.
“We leaned on our trusted partners in our fight for our democracy. Partnership for Southern Equity, Georgia Equality, Black Voters Matter, Coalition for the People’s Agenda, Georgia STAND-UP, and GALEO were instrumental in securing this critical win for people power,” ProGeorgia’s director, Tamieka Atkins, boasted.
The Black Lives Matter Fund has a 501(c)(4) that focuses on recruiting voters and a 501(c)(3) which engages in “capacity building assistance for community based organization” which can accept tax-deductible contributions. This is likely where ProGeorgia partnered with BVM.
“Georgia voters practically handed victories to President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris with a historic election outcome,” BVM head LaTosha Brown boasted. “Georgia owes tremendous gratitude to its Black voters, who turned out and voted in record numbers.”
BVM benefited from a $100 million voter outreach and engagement war chest from the Southern Poverty Law Center. The SPLC is also a 501(c)(3), but so are many of the Democrat organizations which are swinging elections using tax-deductible funds to bring in voters.
State Voices, through its various partners, claims similarly massive results across the country with “over 140 million voter contacts”, “1.9 million calls, 34.5 million texts”, “90 million emails” and 1 million door knocks. Parker Thayer at the Capital Research Center pointed out that these numbers trumped the 50 million voter contacts that the RNC had described as a new record.
While State Voices claims to be nonpartisan to retain its 501(c)(3) status, its partners are universally leftist groups including extremely partisan organizations like MoveOn and Color of Change. The IRS has ignored the close integration between C3s and C4s, whether it’s BVM or the ACLU balancing dual C3 and C4 arms or C3s like State Voices and ProGeorgia working closely on political goals with C4s. Either way the distinction between groups that are allowed to take in tax-deductible donations and those that are not has become a minor technicality.
And it could not have happened without the complicity of the IRS.
State Voices recently released a survey in three states on what people think “are problems and messages they may be most responsive to on issues” while emphasizing that it “encourages affiliates and partners to apply the guidance found in this research towards year round 501(c)(3) civic engagement activity” for “relevant legislative action and civic education work” but cautions about applying it to “voter registration or nonpartisan voter engagement activity without consulting counsel.” The legal firewall between polling voters about their views on abortion and then using it for “civic education”, but not “nonpartisan voter engagement”, or partisan voting engagement is equally thin.
Ever since the days of the NAACP, identity politics has been a convenient hook for setting up voter engagement organizations that appeal to particular demographics on particular issues. Nonprofits claim to be conducting “civic education” when they engage voters on the pet causes of the Democrats. But what’s the line between “civic education”, “nonpartisan voter engagement” and campaign activities? The IRS has made those lines meaningless.
And as a result, billions of dollars in tax-deductible funds have been used to finance Democrat campaign activities. This money passes through a series of ‘Russian nesting doll’ organizations as money from leftist megadonors like George Soros and foundations like the Ford Foundation is fed through smaller, but still huge middlemen like State Voices, which distribute money to their state counterparts, like ProGeorgia, that are themselves coalitions, uniting in this case, the Georgia AFL-CIO, Planned Parenthood, the ACLU, a teachers’ union and the Georgia Muslim Voter Project, along with dozens of more obscure local activist groups. Some of those groups also consist of even smaller coalitions that go down to the granular community group level.
The end result is a parallel operation that closely resembles the Democrats, shares their political views and works for the same causes, and funnels money that megadonors could not directly provide to the party to build something that is bigger and more effective than the party.
And much of it has the virtue of being tax-deductible so that taxpayers are the ones financing it.
State Voices claims that its “25 state-based coalitions… collectively partner with over 1,200 organizations.” The scale of the infrastructure involved easily dwarfs that of either party because State Voices is just one of a number of middlemen organizations that are playing a similar role.
While some campaign activities are still off limits, nonprofit cash is used to change voting rules, to finance elections, to conduct voter engagement and to collect lists used by Democrats. The nonprofit political machines shape the election battlefield so that the Democrats only have to focus on the most direct expenditures of the campaign rather than the big picture.
The IRS has made this political nonprofit taxocracy possible. It allows C3s to coordinate, partner, fund and provide resources to C4s on partisan issues. It lets C3s lobby on ballot measures while ignoring the requirement that these form only a small part of their expenditures. Its wilful neglect has permitted the Democrats to build a tax-deductible political machine that is not only altering the fabric of our country, but taking a direct and active role in its elections.
As discussed in Internal Radical Service by David Horowitz and John Perazzo, a pamphlet from the David Horowitz Freedom Center, the IRS has allowed leftists to build massive nonprofit networks aimed at achieving their political agenda. What happened in Georgia is just one example. And it’s happening not only in Georgia but all across the United States of America.
How much of an impact did State Voices and its claim of 140 million voter contacts have on the 2022 election? And how much of an impact will its over a thousand partners have in 2024?
Those are inquiries that the IRS does not want to conduct, but they are the burning questions that lie at the core of what it means to have free and fair elections. The IRS has allowed its leftist political allies to taint our elections at the base using tax-deductible money. That is its original sin and it is destroying the integrity of not only our elections, but our nation.
When the devil went down to Georgia to steal its elections, the IRS went with him. There was no fiddle of gold in it: just a Senate committed to abortion, treason and the mutilation of children.

Authoritarian States ‘Want to Control People’ by Censoring Internet: ICANN
Authoritarian governments across the world are looking to censor the Internet in order to “control people”, a senior official from ICANN has said.
David Huberman, a senior official within the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), has accused authoritarian governments across the globe of looking to fracture the Internet in the hopes of controlling people.
Legally registered as an NGO, ICANN is responsible for making the international system of IP addresses function correctly, with the organisation describing itself as being “dedicated to keeping the Internet secure, stable and interoperable”.
Those within the organisation are now claiming that authoritarian governments are starting to get in the way of this goal, with Huberman telling the Cloudfest industry meeting in Germany that some states now aim to cut up the Internet in order to better control their populations.
“The potential fragmentation of the Internet is a worrying topic,” Der Spiegel reports the expert as saying, before discussing the impact that such governments could have on the Internet.
“They are authoritarian governments that want to control their people,” he said.
Although Huberman did not name any individual nation-states in particular as being involved in this effort to undermine the net, the report published by Der Spiegel goes on to name China, Iran, and Russia as being the three countries tech experts are primarily focused on.
However, many governments in the West are also now jumping on the bandwagon of splitting off and censoring the Internet, with authorities in the United Kingdom and European Union in particular now regularly taking potshots at the free transmission of information online.
Authorities in Brussels have so far been the most active in forcing Internet censorship on the people, blocking its citizens from accessing a number of Russian news outlets online in March last year.
Such material can now only be accessed by those residing within the bloc through use of a virtual private network (VPN), similar to how those living within Communist China must use such services to access many Western websites and media outlets.
Politicians in the United Kingdom appear to be just as keen on implementing widespread Internet censorship, with the country’s planned Online Safety Bill set to hand regulators widespread powers to force social media firms to censor content deemed to problematic.
As of the time of writing, such targets of censorship will range from already highly illegal content such as child pornography to perfectly legal material that simply upsets the progressive sensibilities of those ruling Britain.
The planned censorship regime has been widely panned by various tech firms as being set to end Internet privacy in the UK, with the bill set to render end-to-end encryption effectively illegal by mandating chat apps spy on their userbase using AI to make sure they are not doing anything illegal.
Multiple apps, including Signal and WhatsApp, have now threatened that they will withdraw their services entirely from the country should the bill become law, saying that the measures would completely compromise security and privacy on their platforms.

I never thought I’d be thanking an ex-Democrat former congresswoman and presidential candidate for telling the truth, exposing the evil Democrat agenda and saving the GOP. But former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard just broke the mold.
Tulsi, we all love and appreciate you. You are our hero. You may have changed the midterms. You may have just saved America!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your courage, strength and raw honesty. You have done something that no one could even imagine before this week. You just broke with not only the entire Democrat Party, but also the D.C. swamp, the deep state and the evil cabal of Marxist Democrat donors like George Soros and Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum.
You just exposed the purposeful Democrat plan to destroy this country. Remarkably, you said it louder and with more truth than 99% of Republican officeholders and 99% of Republican candidates in this election.
Gabbard’s exit statement in leaving the Democrat Party sounded like I wrote it. It was word for word everything I’ve said on my national radio show, two national television shows and podcast for years. Word for word.
We finally have a true Democrat insider who has witnessed and exposed the evil of the Democrat Party.
Gabbard didn’t just say something short, sweet and meaningless, like “I’m not leaving the Democrat Party; the party left me.” She stuck a sword through their heart like a hero killing a monster. She destroyed the Democrat Party like no former Democrat officeholder has in history. She explained in detail their radical agenda.
Gabbard’s exit speech read like a Donald Trump or Wayne Allyn Root stump speech. She called Democrats an elitist cabal.
She admitted they have weaponized the government against conservatives.
She blames Democrats for wanting to kill free speech and send their political opponents to prison.
She reported Democrats are anti-white — in other words, she admitted Democrats are racists who hate white people.
She said Democrats are hostile to people of faith — and want to take away our God-given freedoms.
She admitted Democrats have purposely opened the borders to destroy America.
She reported Democrats hate and demonize the police and openly protect and support criminals.
She said Democrats are a cabal of warmongers intent on starting World War III and bringing us purposely to the brink of nuclear war.
She said Democrats don’t believe in government of, by and for the people, but rather a government of, by and for the powerful elite.
She warned of the woke direction these radical, extreme idealogues are taking our country.
And then she added in a media interview that Democrats are ushering in the “normalization of pedophilia.”
All true. But… WOW. My jaw is on the floor. No former high-level Democrat official has ever said these words in history.
I’ve reported and warned about every one of these threats to our country for many years. So, what’s the significance of Gabbard saying these same things?
No. 1: She is the first Democrat congresswoman and former Democrat presidential candidate to ever admit any of this. That’s credibility.
No. 2: She is giving an “insider” account of what is happening in the Democrat Party at the highest levels. She is a witness. She proves what I’ve always warned: These are not mistakes, ignorance or incompetence. This is all a purposeful, planned, coordinated, radical, extreme, communist, globalist, fascist attack on America.
No. 3: Her words should embolden moderate and RINO Republicans to tell the truth about how bad this attack on America really is — 99% of Republican candidates have never gone this far, never used words like this. They are cowards, scared of their own shadows. They’re worried about what the media would say about them. Hopefully Gabbard’s words will embolden (or shame) them to start telling the raw truth about what what’s really happening to America. Gabbard gives them cover.
No. 4: Gabbard’s brave words and action could inspire moderate, non-insane Democrats like Sens. Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona to leave the Democrat Party to become either Republicans or independents.
My hope is that Tulsi Gabbard is the canary in the coal mine. She is the model. She has started a trend. She has started a tsunami away from the radical, insane, extreme, America-hating Democrat Party.
Gabbard then backed up her words by immediately endorsing two MAGA, America-First Republican candidates: Joe Kent for Congress in Washington and GOP Senate candidate Dan Bolduc in New Hampshire. I don’t know if Gabbard is officially joining the GOP, but it’s a darn good start!
Tulsi, it’s great to have you on my team. Welcome to “Wayne’s World.” You may have just changed the direction of America. You may have just saved the GOP with your raw truth. God bless you.

Justifying The Suppression of Conservative Content
Leftists aren't as blind as conservatives think they are.

According to the avalanche of posts by reporters Matt Taibbi and Bari Weiss, and writer Michael Shellenberger, to whom new Twitter owner and CEO Elon Musk provided access to internal communications, Twitter massively “shadow-banned,” restricted and even flat-out blocked access to conservatives and conservative content.
So, how does the anti-Donald Trump and the anti-conservative Left ignore and even justify this nefarious practice? How do they completely ignore real “election interference” and this blatant attack to manipulate information to alter what we read, how we think and how we vote?
One defender wrote: “So it’s just occurring to so called conservative ‘intellectuals’ that private companies have internal memos discussing business practices. Amazing.”
The same leftists who dismiss the Twitter expose on the grounds that “it’s a private company” see no problem using government to compel a private company to provide health insurance, minimum wage, racial diversity and sensitivity training, paid medical and family leave or to require at least one female on its Board of Directors (a California law that was struck down as unconstitutional promptly followed by California Gov. Gavin Newsom signing another bill that requires at least one member of the “disadvantaged” community to be on the board of a private publicly held company, headquartered in California.)
It’s one thing to suppress conservative content and conservatives, it’s another not to tell them — and it’s another level of evil to deny that they do it. Fox News writes: “CEO Jack Dorsey and top Twitter employees, as well as members of the liberal media, have repeatedly claimed over the years that the social media company did not ‘shadow ban’ users or secretly censor conservative accounts.
“Yet, the second installment of the ‘Twitter Files’ released Thursday (Dec. 8) revealed a comprehensive system and internal communications in which the social media site created SECRET (emphasis added) ‘blacklists’ that applied to certain users and tweets, many of which leaned right politically.”
Consider this July 2018 statement by Twitter product lead Kayvon Beykpour and Twitter lawyer Vijaya Gadde who said “we do not shadow ban”: “You are always able to see the tweets from accounts you follow (although you may have to do more work to find them, like go directly to their profile). And we certainly don’t shadow ban based on political viewpoints or ideology.”
In August 2018, in an interview with Fox’s Sean Hannity, Twitter founder, then-owner and CEO Jack Dorsey was adamant: “We do not shadow ban according to political ideology or viewpoint or content. Period.”
Dorsey, in a 2018 interview with CNN’s media critic Brian Stelter, was equally emphatic: “Are we doing something according to political ideology or viewpoints? And we are not. Period. We do not look at content with regards to political viewpoint. We look at behavior.”
In September 2018, Dorsey appeared before the House Energy and Commerce Committee where this exchange took place:
Rep. Mike Doyle, D-Penn.: “I want to read a few quotes about Twitter’s practices and I just want you to tell me if they’re true or not. Social media is being rigged to censor conservatives. Is that true of Twitter?”
Dorsey: “No.”
Doyle: “Are you censoring people?”
Dorsey: “No.”

Journalist and author Glenn Greenwald tweeted: “The list of prominent conservative US/Western elected officials, journalists, authors, etc. banned by Big Tech is very long.
“No establishment left-liberal voice ever is.
“To deny Big Tech censorship targets conservatives requires pathological lying.
“Name the comparable Dems?”
Given that much of Left/Dems/liberal media/Hollywood/academia/Big Tech think of most conservatives — to quote Biden — as “semi-fascists,” they view suppression of conservatives and conservative content on social media as an act of patriotism.
But on one level, this corroboration that social media suppresses conservative content and therefore stifles the exchange of differing ideas and opinion is good news. This means that the American Left is not quite as blind on many issues as conservatives think. The American Left cannot know what they are prevented from knowing by those who believe they know better.

American people deserve to know what China was up to with Joe Biden, especially when Beijing had already shelled out millions of dollars to Biden family members — including millions in set-asides for “the big guy.” What else is on that infamous Hunter Biden laptop? The conflicted Biden Justice Department cannot be trusted to engage in any meaningful oversight on this issue. We need a special counsel now.

Cotton: Joe Biden Has Been Using His Public Office for 50 years to Benefit His Family
During an appearance on Thursday’s broadcast of “The Ingraham Angle,” Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) expressed his approval of the House Republican investigations in the Biden family business dealings.
Cotton alleged Biden had used his office for financial benefit for 50 years.
“Laura, my main thoughts are I’m very glad that Jim Jordan, my old friend in the House, is the Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, so he can get to the bottom of it because I don’t think Dick Durbin on the Senate Judiciary Committee is going to be probing, yes, but they’re very troubling reports that the IRS and the FBI had been thwarted from investigating Hunter Biden’s dealings which as you say, are not about Hunter Biden, a very troubled but private citizen,” he said. “They’re how the Biden family has been trading on Joe Biden’s public office for 50 years.”
“In other investigations, you have Jim Comer and his committee reviewing the suspicious activity reports that the treasury of money transfers involving the Biden family,” Cotton added. “Again, not just Hunter, but other members of the family. More troubling information appears to be coming out there that Joe Biden has been using his public office for 50 years to benefit his family. And he did it when he was a senator. And he did it when he was vice president. Do we really think he wouldn’t do it when he held the highest land in the office?”

White House Deflects Allegations of Hunter Biden Tax Probe Interference, Says DOJ Is Independent
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Thursday deflected allegations that the Biden administration interfered in an ongoing probe into Hunter Biden’s potential tax violations.
“The president has always been clear during the campaign, during his presidency that the Department of Justice should have independence; they should not be politicized,” Jean-Pierre said during a White House press briefing. “And they should be able to do their job independently, essentially.”
“The president respects the rule of law and the independence of the Department of Justice,” she added.
Hunter is under investigation by the DOJ for tax fraud, money laundering, and violation of lobbying laws. For months, Trump-appointed U.S. prosecutor David Weiss has been weighing if there is sufficient evidence for the grand jury to indict him. But no charges have been forthcoming.
On Wednesday, an IRS whistleblower alleged two Biden administration political appointees within the Justice Department are working to block charges against Hunter for tax violations against recommendations.
Moreover, Weiss allegedly asked to be named as special counsel in the probe to provide a degree of separation between the probe and Joe Biden. That request was apparently turned down.
In March, Garland insisted Weiss has the authority to bring charges against Hunter. However, Garland additionally noted he would personally have to authorize any potential charges.
“The criminal probe of Hunter Biden directly affects Garland’s boss. This is a coverup,” Mike Davis, founder and president of the pro-Trump Article III Project and former Chief Counsel for Nominations to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, told Breitbart News.
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) told Breitbart News that both Joe Biden and Garland are culpable for the alleged abuse.
“Under President Biden and Attorney General Garland, America is not equally applying justice and the rule of law. They are both equally culpable and responsible for abuse alleged by the IRS whistleblower,” he said.
House Republicans have vowed to investigate the claims. “This is absolutely something that Chairman Jordan will look at,” a House Judiciary Committee spokesperson told Breitbart News.
Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) told Breitbart News he has been wondering why the DOJ has not charged Hunter in the tax probe. The grand jury appears to have convened as far back as May 2019, a confidential subpoena served to JPMorgan Chase bank reveals.
“We’ve been wondering all along where the heck the DOJ and the IRS have been. Now it appears the Biden Administration may have been working overtime to prevent the Bidens from facing any consequences,” Comer said. “The House Oversight Committee will work to hold accountable anyone in the Biden Administration who may be covering up this criminal activity.”

Report: Federal Prosecutors Considered Charging Hunter with Four Crimes a Year Ago
Federal prosecutors reportedly considered charging Hunter Biden over a year ago for three tax crimes and one gun crime — charges allegedly blocked by two Biden administration political appointees within the Justice Department.
The charges against the president’s son are two misdemeanor counts for failure to file taxes, one felony count of tax evasion related to a business expense for one year of taxes, and one felony gun charge related to a gun purchase, two senior law enforcement familiar with the matter told NBC News.
The two sources also complained about “growing frustration” inside the FBI because the investigation into Hunter was mostly completed about a year ago. A third source told NBC News the IRS finished its probe over a year ago.
