Six men were arrested after working together on over 70 crimes targeting Asian women in California’s Bay Area, according to Santa Clara County authorities.

The six men allegedly committed more than 70 robberies, thefts, and burglaries against Asian women between October 2020 and September 2021. Santa Clara County’s District Attorney’s Office charged the six men with hate crime enhancements after the suspects targeted Asian women and used “ethnic slurs against Asians.”

Santa Clara County District Attorney Jeff Rosen said:

I decided to charge this also as a hate crime for a few reasons. Number one, it adds additional time in custody, which is appropriate for a case of this magnitude. Number two, I recognize that a hate crime doesn’t only affect the individuals involved… it also affects the people in the Asian American community who were not targeted in that it makes them fearful that they may be next.

San Jose Police Captain Brian Shab revealed that three suspects are in custody. The other three were released. One of the men faces a maximum sentence of 95 years in prison.

One man, who is suspected to be involved in over 30 robberies and thefts, was arrested in August on suspicion of felony robbery and misdemeanor vandalism.

Three of the suspects were arrested and charged with hate crimes in September. Then, in November, authorities made the final arrests after witnesses the last two suspects commit robberies.

Mercury News reported:

Ethnic slurs were allegedly used against some of the women by the three men and officials said the suspects followed the women to their cars in parking lots and waited until they were inside before opening the door or breaking a window to snatch a purse from their passenger seat.

“There is no doubt that these suspects believed they could prey on these victims because of their ethnicity and because of their gender,” Shab said. “They believed that they were going to be easy targets and that they were carrying large sums of cash.”

THE REALITY OF THE STAGGERING EPIDEMIC BLACK CRIME TIDAL WAVE IN AMERICA!

BLACKS ARE 15xs to 30xs MORE LIKELY TO PERPETRATE VIOLENCE THAN WHITES.

Dr. Williams comments on another reality: that the rate of black homicide and armed robbery as well as other violent crimes are as is as much as 15–30 times more than whites

Blacks are also overrepresented among perpetrators of hate crimes—by 50 percent—according to the most recent Justice Department data from 2017; whites are underrepresented by 24 percent. This is particularly true for anti-gay and anti-Semitic hate crimes.

Police: Alleged Serial Killer in Virginia Responsible for Four Murders

During a press conference, police described Anthony Robinson as the “Shopping Cart Killer,” the outlet said.

Officials said evidence discovered in Virginia indicated the existence of a serial killer who may be responsible for approximately four murders, Fox 5 reported Friday.

During a press conference, police described Anthony Robinson as the “Shopping Cart Killer,” the outlet said.

Authorities said he met victims through dating sites, then met them at motels where he allegedly beat them to death and moved their bodies to another place.

“He’s a predator as all serial killers are,” Fairfax County Police Department Chief Kevin Davis said. “He does unspeakable things with his victims.”

Police said the recent remains were located Wednesday in a wooded area. The remains were inside a container placed near a shopping cart in the 2400 block of Fairhaven Avenue in Alexandria.

In a social media post on Friday, the department shared a photo of what appeared to be the shopping cart:

The Fox report continued:

Two other bodies were found in Harrisonburg on Nov. 23, 2021.  Police identified the victims as Allene Elizabeth Redmon, 54, of Harrisonburg, Virginia and Tonita Lorice Smith, 39, of Charlottesville. Police say their bodies were also transported into the woods in a shopping cart. They believe another victim is Cheyenne Brown, a missing Washington, D.C. woman because of a tattoo they found on the body.

A fourth victim has yet to be identified, however, officials said they are working leads regarding a victim reported missing in the area where the body was discovered.

“We have a serial killer. The good thing is, he is in custody. The challenge that remains is identifying other victims,” Davis said Friday. “We’re in the process of conducting, along with many other partners, a retrospective investigation to figure out where he’s been.”

“And we’re going to find out exactly where he’s been and we’re going to work with our law enforcement partners, homicide detectives, missing person detectives, to see if we can identify any other victims and families and communities he has brought harm to,” he concluded.

Refugee resettlement costs taxpayers nearly $9 billion every five years. Over the course of a lifetime, taxpayers pay about $133,000 per refugee and within five years of resettlement, roughly 16 percent will need taxpayer-funded housing assistance.

Arizona attorney general: Border crisis is a man-made disaster

There it is.  That's the issue.  To begin, you have the corrupt family Biden.  They've been scamming us and our system well for almost fifty years.  The man is supposedly worth over 250 million dollars.  How is this possible on his salary?  It's not.  So where did his wealth come from?  Not from being a brilliant businessman. DAVID PRENTICE

Joe Biden didn’t do anything wrong? A time-honored method of taking bribes is having them paid to a family member, usually in exchange for nominal or nonexistent services. It is comical to watch “reporters” pretend not to understand this.

 MONICA SHOWALTER

There’s also the little problem of Hillary’s incredible corruption (making her and Biden birds of a feather). And of course, the fact that Hillary’s unsecure server damaged national security in a way that would have seen an ordinary, politically unconnected person spend the rest of her life in prison—which, not coincidentally, is where Papa Joe belongs for using his debauched son Hunter as the bagman for decades of anti-American corruption

From April 2020 to April 2021, more than 100,000 Americans died from drug overdoses, according to data from the National Center for Health Statistics. An overwhelming majority of those deaths came from opioids, and fentanyl smuggling has surged at the southern border since the start of Joe Biden's presidency.     Joseph Simonson and Collin Anderson

“Joe Biden is great on immigration. I guess depends on your perspective. If you’re a human trafficker, or drug dealer, you’d give him an A-plus, but theAmerican people would give him an F. The crisis at our border was not only entirely predictable, it was predicted. I predicted that if you campaign all year long on open borders, amnesty, and health care for illegals, you’re going to get more migrants at the border. That’s what’s happened since the election.” SEN. TOM COTTON

Many Democrats understand that the welfare checks for foreign children will encourage more illegal immigration, he said:

They know what’s going on. But they know that they can’t say what their true goal is, which is actual open borders with open, uncontrolled migration both ways. And this is a step toward getting rid of borders.

“It’s a globalist mindset and it welcomes anything that moves toward open borders,” he concluded. NEIL MUNRO

“Protect and enrich.” This is a perfect encapsulation of the Clinton Foundation and the Obama book and television deals. Then there is the Biden family corruption, followed closely behind by similar abuses of power and office by the Warren and Sanders families, as Peter Schweizer described in his recent book “Profiles in Corruption.” These names just scratch the surface of government corruption.    BRIAN C JOONDEPH

What’s really baffling is Hunter’s success with women. Despite being a total loser with a terrible drug habit and some weird sexual perversions, Hunter managed to seduce his brother’s widow, her sister, a stripper, and the woman he married, all over the course of four years. It’s enough to make one think that Hunter’s charm had less to do with the man himself and more with the benefits flowing from the Biden family cartel.   ANDREA WIDBERG

Texas Governor: 'Unconscionable' for Biden Administration to 'Hollow Out the National Guard'

(CNSNews.com) - The Biden administration's "willingness to hollow out the National Guard is unconscionable in the face of growing global threats and a border crisis created by the Biden administration," Texas Gov. Greg Abbott wrote in a December 16 letter to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.

Abbott, a Republican, made it clear that Texas will not force COVID vaccinations on its guardsmen and women, despite the Biden administration's threat to cut off federal dollars for unvaccinated members.

"As Governor of Texas, I am the commander-in-chief of this State’s militia," Abbott said.

As the commander in chief, Abbott said he has ordered the adjutant general of Texas to comply with his executive order stating that "[n]o governmental entity can compel any individual to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. That includes the Texas National Guard and Texas State Guard. Under this order, General Norris will not punish any guardsman in Texas for choosing not to receive the vaccine," Abbott wrote.

Not only did Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin threaten to cut off federal funding -- the secretary of the Air Force warned of discharge proceedings earlier this month.

Abbott pointed to a string of legal setbacks for the vaccine mandates as a further reason to flout the feds.

"The State of Texas will not enforce this latest COVID-19 vaccine mandate against its guardsmen," Abbott's letter concluded.

"If the federal government keeps threatening to defund the Texas National Guard, I will deploy every legal tool available to me as Governor in defense of these American heroes."

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has deployed thousands of state troopers and National Guard members to the Texas border as part of “Operation Lone Star," an effort launched in March to arrest people (and criminals) crossing the border that Biden refuses to protect.

IS LAWYER MAYORKAS 'PRO-MIGRATION' OR SIMPLY PRO JOE'S INVASION OF 'CHEAP' LABOR?

Alejandro Mayorkas, the nation’s zealously pro-migration border chief, says the nation’s technology companies want to curb Americans’ speech that is deemed “misinformation.”

Joe Biden is on record that illegals are “already Americans,” and under Alejandro Mayorkas, the Biden Department of Homeland Security is effectively the Department of Human Trafficking. John Fonte of the Hudson Institute makes a strong case that “operational control of the border is no longer in American hands,” and under the control of Mexican cartels. Alejandro Mayorkas, the nation’s zealously pro-migration border chief, says the nation’s technology companies want to curb Americans’ speech that is deemed “misinformation.”

“I think they’re very committed to doing so,” Mayorkas told a Bloomberg interview on December 14. He continued:

I had very robust discussions with individuals [in Silicon Valley and the tech sector]. You know, the “How to accomplish it?” is something that is not easily navigated. We recognize that the First Amendment concerns are extraordinarily important. It’s a founding principle of our country. I think they’re very dedicated to doing so. And I think the “How to” and “How we can work together” … is something we’re all working through.

Misinformation “is very much within our domain,” Mayorkas said:

Misinformation — pointedly, disinformation — has very serious and significant ramifications for [the Department of] homeland security [and] the integrity of our election system. The security of our election system is a prime example of that. And so, our office of Strategy, Policy, and Plans under Rob Silver’s leadership, CISA [Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency] under Jen Easterly’s leadership, John Cohen leading the office of intelligence and analysis in an acting capacity, Samantha Winograd, a senior counselor to the secretary and our Acting Assistant Secretary for Counterterrorism — these are individuals very much involved in their respective workforces, very much involved in addressing misinformation, disinformation, and the threats that they pose to the homeland.

Bloomberg refused to ask Mayorkas about his agency’s oversight over the huge flow of white-collar foreigners into Americans’ tech jobs. But Brad Stone, a senior executive editor at Bloomberg News, did throw this softball question to Mayorkas:

Do you ever get … upset by just the ubiquity of falsehoods and missile and myth in our in our public dialogue, and and the ease with which they are transported across social media and the internet?

Mayorkas graciously replied:

I do. I think that false narratives present a threat to our security. The propagation of false narratives is something to be condemned. We need our leaders to step up and fight against it. Because the words of leaders, they matter quite a bit. They can be very influential in the public discourse. The Department of Homeland Security, our work, rests often at the epicenter of the country’s [political] divide. And the country’s divide is something that has security implications, and it’s also very saddening.

You know, last week I was privileged to attend the memorial service for Bob Dole, one of our nation’s great leaders and great public servants and heroes … It spoke of a different time spoke of a time when people could disagree on policy, and still work together in the service of a country that we all love. And I am in so many others who are working to renew that day.

Mayorkas and his agency keep a population of roughly 1 million foreign contract workers in the jobs needed by U.S. college graduates.

They now also cutting doorways in the nation’s border laws to extract more resources — renters, consumers, and blue-collar workers — from poor countries.

Mayorkas’ eagerness to raise the human-resource inflow is welcomed by the investors who control the technology companies, such as Paul Singer, the owner of Elliott Management. In November, Singer helped remove Jack Dorsey from Twitter, and instead install a former Indian visa worker – Parag Agrawal — as CEO.

The inflow is also welcomed by Mike Bloomberg, the pro-migration owner of Bloomberg News.

In 2021, Mayorkas helped to spike the migrant inflow to roughly two million, including roughly 500,000 illegals, 500,000 temporarily legal migrants, plus many visa workers and roughly 850,000 legal immigrants.

Many polls show the government-run labor migration is deeply unpopular because it damages ordinary Americans’ career opportunities, cuts their wages, and raises their rents.

Migration also curbs Americans’ productivity, shrinks their political clout, widens regional wealth gapsradicalizes their democratic, compromise-promoting civic culture, and allows elites to ignore despairing Americans at the bottom of society.

For many years, a wide variety of pollsters have shown deep and broad opposition to labor migration and the inflow of temporary contract workers into jobs sought by young U.S. graduates. This opposition is multiracialcross-sexnon-racistclass-basedbipartisanrationalpersistent, and recognizes the solidarity Americans owe to each other.

Study: Amnesty Will Cost ‘Hundreds of Billions’

John Moore/Getty Images

NEIL MUNRO

President Joe Biden’s amnesty plan will spike Social Security

spending by “hundreds of billions” over the next few decades,

according to a forecast by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS).

The February 22 report, titled “Amnesty Would Cost the Social Security and Medicare Trust Funds Hundreds of Billions of Dollars,” says:

The new taxes paid by the average amnesty recipient amount to only half of the $94,500 noted above. The net effect of amnesty is therefore $140,330 [in Social Security benefits] minus $47,250 [in paid taxes], which is about $93,000 per recipient. In any large-scale amnesty, in which millions of illegal immigrants gain legal status, it is easy to see how the net cost could reach into the hundreds of billions of dollars.

Fact Check: Democrat Falsely Claims ‘There’s No Amnesty’ in Biden’s ‘Build Back Better Act’

2:34

CLAIM: Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) claimed President Joe Biden’s “Build Back Better Act,” which she voted for, does not include amnesty for illegal aliens residing in the United States.

VERDICT: False. The filibuster-proof reconciliation package, passed by House Democrats, includes an amnesty for 6.5 million illegal aliens.

During a virtual town hall this week, Spanberger was asked by a constituent how she can “justify” her vote for Biden’s Build Back Better Act, even as she considers herself a “moderate,” since the bill has “provisions regarding amnesty for illegals while our borders are open, and massive expansion of social programs.”

Spanberger claims “there’s no amnesty in the bill,” saying she “proudly” supported the bill.

The bill, despite Spanberger’s claims, includes an amnesty for roughly 6.5 million illegal aliens who would be shielded from arrest and deportation by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency while securing work permits, driver’s licenses, and travel documents.

If signed into law, the amnesty would be the largest in American history.

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) confirmed the amnesty provision — costing American taxpayers about $500 billion over two decades — so long as illegal aliens claim they have lived in the U.S. since 2010.

“About 6.5 million aliens (non-U.S. nationals) would receive parole,” the CBO notes.

Further analysis reveals that the bill’s amnesty provision will ensure that millions of eligible illegal aliens “would be able to receive Affordable Care Act subsidies, Medicaid, the Earned Income and Child Tax Credits, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, often called food stamps), Social Security, and Medicare to a much greater extent than they would without legal status.”

Spanberger is one of many House Democrats who are at risk of losing their seats in either the 2022 midterm elections or as a result of redistricting maps. At least 27 vulnerable House Democrats voted for the amnesty.

Democrats and billionaire executives for giant tech corporations are urging the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to keep illegal aliens, enrolled in former President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, in American jobs.

In July, Judge Andrew Hanen ordered President Joe Biden’s administration to shut down the DACA program by blocking the federal government from allowing new applicants, illegal aliens who have not previously been enrolled, onto the program’s rolls.

Months later, in September, Biden’s DHS issued a draft regulation that would effectively preserve the DACA program that has allowed more than 800,000 illegal aliens to remain in the United States and hold American jobs since 2012.

In a letter to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Senate Democrats including Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Cory Booker (D-NJ), Alex Padilla (D-CA), and Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV), along with a number of House Democrats, urged the Biden administration to move forward with the regulation and expand the program to include more illegal aliens.

The Democrats write:

To preserve family unity, we urge you to update the DACA threshold criteria to include individuals who had lawful status on June 15, 2012. One of the threshold criteria in the proposed rule is that DACA applicants must have “had no lawful immigration status on June 15, 2012, as well as at the time of filing of the request for DACA.” We ask that DHS to update these criteria to allow individuals who had lawful status in the United States on June 15, 2012, but subsequently lost such status by the time of their request, to qualify for DACA. This update could be accomplished by changing the above criterium to read: “had no lawful status at the time of filing of the request for DACA.” [Emphasis added]

We also encourage you to consider adopting additional changes to DACA eligibility requirements that would enable more Documented Dreamers to utilize the protection this program offers if the unlawful status requirement were revoked. Specifically, we urge you to consider removing the threshold criteria that require requestors to have continuously resided in the United States from June 15, 2007 to the time of filing of the request. We also support adjusting the dates in the threshold criteria to provide relief for individuals who arrived in the United States after 2007. These adjustments would help a greater number of Documented Dreamers access relief and avoid accruing unlawful status. [Emphasis added]

Likewise, executives at Amazon, Google, Cisco, the Intel Corporation, IBM, and Meta Platforms have sent a letter to DHS asking that DACA work permits be preserved and that Congress grant amnesty to DACA illegal aliens.

“DACA recipients help us innovate on behalf of customers and are a critical part of our diverse workforce,” the executives wrote. “… DACA recipients enrich our companies and the economy in different ways.”

Already, current immigration levels put downward pressure on U.S. wages while redistributing about $500 billion in wealth away from America’s working and middle class and towards employers and new arrivals, research by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine has found.

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has repeatedly found that amnesty for illegal aliens would be a net fiscal drain for American taxpayers while driving down U.S. wages.

Every year, 1.2 million legal immigrants receive green cards to permanently resettle in the U.S. In addition, 1.4 million foreign nationals are given visas to take American jobs, while hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens enter the U.S. annually.

Congressional Democrats are apparently fine with catch-and-release policies because they see the likely electoral benefits. According to Customs and Border Protection (CPB), of the 94,285 Central American family units apprehended last year, 99 percent of them remain in the country today. CPB also reports that 98 percent of the 31,754 unaccompanied minors from the Northern Triangle of Central America remain in the country. CAL THOMAS

Yuma Sector staffing reports leaked to Townhall.com reveal most Border Patrol agents within the sector are performing duties related to processing, migrant transport, and providing humanitarian care versus performing enforcement patrols along the Mexican border.

In an exclusive report by Townhall.com’s Julio Rosas, Border Patrol daily assignment rosters were obtained and examined. The assignment rosters show most Border Patrol agents within the Yuma Sector are performing duties related to processing, migrant transport, and providing humanitarian care versus performing enforcement patrols along the border.

The documents in the report were obtained exclusively by Townhall reporter Julio Rosas who has spent a considerable amount of time in Yuma observing the ongoing border migrant surge.

On most days covered by the daily schedules, less than three of twenty Border Patrol agents on a single shift are on patrol in the harsh desert environment surrounding Yuma.

According to Townhall, the daily schedules examined for the Yuma Station span several weeks and provide an insight into how the increase in migrant apprehensions crippled the station’s ability to conduct routine enforcement patrols. When Border Patrol agents are assigned to patrol duties, they are required to cover more territory due to the staffing shortages caused by the massive migrant influx.

A source told Townhall “When the “all-hands-on-deck” approach to processing illegal immigrants started in early August, “we were at zero people patrolling. That lasted until that lady and her child died along the river.”

The source referred to the death of two migrants in the desert near Yuma in late August. In that incident, Claudia Marcela Pineda Sarmiento and her ten-year-old child perished due to dehydration and heat exhaustion. Pineda’s two-year-old child survived. A 12news report outlined the details of the tragedy.

Desert temperatures reached 113 degrees when Pineda Sarmiento got lost in the Cocopah Indian Reservation after crossing into the United States with her children. Pineda managed to call 911 hoping to be rescued shortly after the migrants crossed the border. An exhaustive search led authorities to Pineda’s body and the body of her 10-year-old daughter.

As reported by Breitbart Texas, the Border Patrol in Yuma is struggling to deal with thousands of migrants from a multitude of countries crossing through a gap in the existing border wall near the Morelos dam. The migrants, mostly family units and unaccompanied migrant children, have overwhelmed the agency’s resources leading to the staffing challenges resulting in reduced field patrols.

Yuma Mayor Douglas Nicholls issued an emergency proclamation last week in response to the unprecedented number of migrants entering the city. Nicholls asserts the influx is overwhelming federal authorities and creating a humanitarian crisis.

Yuma is not the only border sector experiencing similar staffing issues. The increased migrant traffic is plaguing the agency across the southwest border as the volume of migrants surrendering has inundated the Border Patrol’s detention facilities causing overcrowding in Border Patrol facilities.

Ranchers and residents are also reeling from the lack of law enforcement presence along the border — becoming increasingly frustrated with the lack of federal response to the crisis.

Report: Biden Considers Greeting Border Crossers with ‘European-Style Reception Centers’

President Joe Biden’s administration is considering a plan that would greet border crossers and illegal aliens at the United States-Mexico border with “European-style reception centers,” a new report details.

Biden’s migration officials, according to the Washington Post, are weighing a plan that would turn the southern border into a reception center for border crossers.

The plan, which remains in the early stages of development, would temporarily house border crossers at the centers providing them “with access to recreation and educational programming, medical services, and legal counsel” while non-governmental organizations (NGOs) aid in their asylum process.

The goal of the reception centers at the border would be to reduce the number of border crossers released directly into the U.S. interior and instead shift to a program that hopes to quickly secure asylum for border crossers so they can be resettled throughout the country.

Border crossers, though, would not be required to remain at the reception centers and would be allowed to leave for the U.S. interior.

“Some versions of the program would allow migrants to come and go during the day, or rely on the electronic monitoring tools used by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Alternatives to Detention programs,” the Post reports.

It is unclear if the plan would drastically increase the rate at which the administration hands out asylum to border crossers so they can remain in the U.S. and eventually bring foreign relatives over on green cards.

As the Post notes, currently, less than 2-in-10 border crossers from Mexico and Central America end up qualifying for asylum. That low qualification rate does not equate to a high deportation rate. From 2014 to 2019, even as 1.7 million Central Americans were apprehended at the border, less than 3-in-10 have been deported despite only 7.6 percent qualifying for asylum.

The Biden administration is looking to convince moderate Republican lawmakers on the plan, pointing to its massive Afghan resettlement operation where more than 70,000 Afghans have been brought to the U.S., with minimal vetting, and temporarily housed at various U.S. military bases.

A number of House and Senate Republicans, along with Republican governors, have been supporting Biden’s Afghan resettlement.

As Breitbart News has reported, Biden’s agencies expect that more than two million border crossers will have arrived at the U.S.-Mexico border by the end of the year. Meanwhile, as of late October, Biden has released more than 530,000 border crossers and illegal aliens into the U.S. interior — more than twice the population of Boise, Idaho.

Thousands of Migrants from 30 Countries Arrive at Arizona Border

Border Patrol agents in Yuma arrested nearly 3,000 migrants between Friday and Sunday, marking another busy weekend. The migrants were from 30 countries and included family units, unaccompanied children, and single adults.

The volume of migrants choosing Yuma as an entry point prompted Mayor Douglas Nicholls to issue an emergency proclamation, hoping to secure additional resources to combat the flow and effects of illegal migration on local resources.

According to Nicholls, last week showed reports of more than 6,000 migrants attempting to travel through the Yuma area. With Border Patrol facilities and transportation resources stretched thin, many migrants were openly moving through residential areas searching for Border Patrol agents.

Nicholls added:

Migrants are traveling through Yuma during a time of great uncertainty about the COVID-19 virus, and without provisions for adequate food, water, shelter, transportation, and medical care. This surge of migrants has and will continue to strain the ability of medical staff and local hospital resources to provide essential and necessary medical care.

The Border Patrol was quickly overwhelmed by the increase in volume that some attribute to fears the migrants have over the restart of the Trump era Migrant Protection Protocols, also known as the “Remain in Mexico” program. The program was restarted on a limited basis along the southwest border. Although the impact to migrants at present is extremely limited, there is a sense that it may more widely applied to asylum applicants soon.

Border Patrol facilities in the area are experiencing overcrowding and are resorting to temporarily holding migrants in outdoor detention settings when necessary. In early December, a detention log reviewed by Breitbart Texas showed the sector recommended COVID-19 detention capacity was exceeded by 800 percent.

The Yuma sector is currently the third busiest Border Patrol sector behind only the Rio Grande Valley and Del Rio sectors in Texas.

Biden Admin Stonewalls Congress on Security Screening of Illegal Immigrant Minors, GOP Lawmaker Says

Admin will not answer questions on thousands of undocumented minors relocated across the country

Nearly two months after a member of the House Homeland Security Committee launched a formal probe into the Biden administration’s decision to relocate nearly 3,000 undocumented minors to New York, the White House has not provided Congress with security vetting information or the status of coronavirus tests for those illegal immigrants, according to the congressman.

Rep. Andrew Garbarino (R., N.Y.), who oversees the Department of Homeland Security as a member of the House committee, late last week accused the Biden administration of stonewalling Congress on the information.

"Almost two months have passed, and I have yet to receive a response from your administration," Garbarino, who first petitioned the Biden administration in October for answers about its relocation program, wrote in a letter obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. "I remain troubled by the potential security and health risks that these migrants pose to Americans in my district." The lawmaker said the Biden administration is withholding "information about who these people are, what their security vetting and COVID-19 screening status is, and how local resources will be impacted."

The letter was sent just days after a brawl at the MercyFirst group home in Syosset, N.Y., where illegal immigrants are housed, in which two police officers were injured. The incident reignited concerns over the lack of security screening implemented by the administration when it decided to relocate the immigrant children. When news of the relocation effort first broke, Republicans in Congress accused the Biden administration of endangering communities by sending undocumented and unscreened illegal immigrants into them.

"One officer suffered a concussion and the other had a broken hand," Garbarino wrote of the incident. "This assault on law enforcement is absolutely disgraceful and should not be tolerated. I am determined to obtain additional information about the perpetrators of this attack, and I intend to introduce legislation to ensure assault of a law enforcement officer is considered a deportable offense."

Garbarino first petitioned the Biden administration for answers about its illegal immigrant relocation program in October. He called on officials to turn over documents related to the secret transport of illegal minors to several locations in New York. More than 2,600 illegal minors were flown into the state amid a massive surge in migrants along the U.S. southern border that has strained federal law enforcement. The New York Post reported in October that "planeloads of underage migrants are being flown secretly into suburban New York in an effort by President Biden’s administration to quietly resettle them across the region."

In addition to documents related to the relocation effort, Garbarino is ordering the Biden administration to brief Congress about how it plans to combat growing public safety issues that have arisen from the influx of illegal immigrants into Long Island and other New York communities.

Garbarino said the assault last week on police represents "the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the negative ramifications of your irresponsible border policies."

The White House’s decision to roll back many of the former Trump administration’s tough border restrictions has sparked an increase in gang violence, particularly among MS-13, an international criminal organization prevalent in Latin America, according to Garbarino.

The lawmaker said it is unacceptable for the Biden administration to enact these policies without informing Congress or providing the proper oversight committees with documentation.

Arizona Mayor Declares Emergency amid Migrant Border Surge

Yuma

Yuma Mayor Douglas Nicholls issued an emergency proclamation on Thursday in response to an unprecedented number of migrants entering the city. Nicholls asserts the influx is overwhelming federal authorities and creating a humanitarian crisis.

In a Thursday press release, the mayor says federal personnel are struggling to manage the flow of migrants into the community and at official facilities. According to Nichols, there have been reports of more than 6,000 migrants attempting to travel through the Yuma area.

The emergency proclamation makes the city eligible to receive state and federal funding for aid, relief, and assistance to mitigate the crisis, according to Nicholls. Mayor Nicholls addressed the impact to the community:

Migrants are traveling through Yuma during a time of great uncertainty about the COVID-19 virus, and without provisions for adequate food, water, shelter, transportation, and medical care. This surge of migrants has and will continue to strain the ability of medical staff and local hospital resources to provide essential and necessary medical care.

The Yuma area experienced a sharp increase in migrant crossings in recent months. Arrests in October 2021 were more than 2,600 percent greater when compared to the previous October.

The recent surge in migrant crossings is having a devastating impact on the surrounding Border Patrol stations and the soft sided processing center near Yuma. They are cumulatively more than 800 percent over the recommended COVID-19 detention capacity.

Most of the migrant groups are breaching a border wall gap near the Morelos Dam, west of Yuma.

Exclusive: DeSantis Will Issue Emergency Order Barring State Licenses for Florida Facilities that House Illegal Alien Children from Biden Border Crisis

Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis will take a major step on Friday morning to stop the influx of illegal aliens claiming to be unaccompanied children into his state thanks to Democrat President Joe Biden’s secret nighttime flights, Breitbart News has learned exclusively from the governor’s team.

DeSantis’s administration, through the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), will issue what is called an “emergency order” blocking the issuance or renewal of state licenses to DCF facilities throughout the state of Florida if any of those facilities are currently housing illegal migrant children — or illegal migrants claiming to be children — that the Biden administration flew into Florida.

DeSantis will appear in Jacksonville on Friday morning at a press conference to announce the new order as well, and the governor’s office conveyed to Breitbart News just how significant of a development this policy represents.

“The mission of the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) is to protect the health, safety, and well-being of Floridians, especially children,” DeSantis spokeswoman Christina Pushaw told Breitbart News on Thursday evening. “To this end, DCF licenses facilities that house children whose families are unable to care for them. As a state agency, DCF serves the people of Florida. Diverting resources away from kids in need in Florida, to illegal aliens being smuggled here by the Biden Administration for clandestine resettlement, does not serve the people of our state. Under the new emergency rule, the federal government’s resettlement of illegal aliens (unaccompanied minors) from outside Florida does not constitute ‘evidence of need’ as required for issuance or renewal of a state license for a child-care facility. Therefore, no licenses shall be issued or renewed with respect to any child-care agency that provides services to illegal aliens transported to Florida from outside our state.”

This emergency order is the next step after an executive order DeSantis signed at the end of September outlining steps he was taking to protect Floridians from illegal migration and the effects of it. In section 8 of that executive order, DeSantis ordered DCF to begin investigating this matter and to develop plans on how to stop what Biden is doing. Now, DCF is rolling this new rule out just after one of the migrants Biden brought in who claimed to be a child but was actually an adult allegedly murdered a Florida man. He allegedly stabbed the man to death after Biden’s team placed the 24-year-old migrant, who claimed he was 17, with a father of four in Jacksonville.

What’s more, these licensed DCF facilities in question are supposed to care for displaced Florida children who do not have parents or legal guardians, but Biden’s open border policies have perverted their purpose to be used to house and care for unaccompanied, underage illegal alien children. So, now, such facilities will not be able to operate under this emergency order if they are housing illegal alien children that Biden sent there — and will lose their licenses.

“We hope this action will serve as a deterrent to the Biden Administration’s massive human-smuggling operation, while protecting Florida’s most vulnerable kids,” Pushaw, DeSantis’s spokeswoman, told Breitbart News. “Governor DeSantis will continue to use his lawful authority to stand up for Floridians in the face of the Biden Administration’s dereliction of its duty to enforce our country’s immigration laws.”

This massive escalation between the DeSantis and the Biden administrations when it comes to migrants comes as the Biden team had ended former President Donald Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policies, welcoming millions of illegal aliens to stream across the border — including many children or migrants who claim to be children. Instead of keeping prospective asylum seekers or other unaccompanied children in Mexico while they await their cases to be adjudicated by immigration judges, as Trump did, Biden has restarted and accelerated the failed “Catch and Release” policies from the Barack Obama presidency. As part of releasing these migrants into the United States, Biden’s team has arranged for secret nighttime flights across America to resettle them in cities and towns nationwide.

“With destinations like Chicago, Denver, Minneapolis, New York City, Yakima, Wash., and Harrisburg, Pa., U.S. government-contracted planes transport migrants from the border and into the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) field offices around the country. These migrants are often later released from these destinations,” Fox News reported in September. “These flights are made by iAero Airways, which is a major government contractor. The airline also transports migrants around the country in the custody of Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for children. The migrants released into the U.S. after taking these flights add up to at least tens of thousands of individuals.”

DeSantis’s team told Breitbart News that the governor and his staff have been able to identify at least 70 such secret nighttime flights the Biden administration arranged filled with migrants that have landed this year in Jacksonville alone — and that it is unclear just how many such flights have touched down in Florida since Biden flung the southern border open. Biden and his administration do not inform the governor or local law enforcement of these flights, so the governor and his team rely on local sources for information around the state. The flights land in low traffic areas of airports secretly in the middle of the night and contain anywhere from 30 or so migrants to as many as more than a hundred on some flights.

Similar flights have been landing all across America, too, including in New York where the New York Post estimated in an October piece that between August 2021 and that piece’s publication date the secret flights brought as many as 2,000 or more migrant children into the New York City area at the Westchester County Airport.

One illegal migrant who was actually a 24-year-old man but posed as a child to get into America and was flown courtesy of the Biden administration to Jacksonville, Florida, is now in jail awaiting trial after being arraigned on murder charges for allegedly stabbing to death the man who opened his home to the young man.

That 24-year-old migrant, Yery Noel Medina Ulloa, posed as a 17-year-old to get into America and onto a plane courtesy of Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services to Jacksonville, where he later, according to police, stabbed Francisco Javier Cuellar, a 46-year-old father of four who took in Ulloa after Ulloa used a false identity to claim he was a child.

Ulloa allegedly attempted to cross the border in March of this year but was turned back by authorities. He tried again in May 2021, using a fake name and identity in which he claimed he was 17 years old instead of 24 — and was, thanks to Biden’s open borders policies, able to slip past detection and vetting and get into the United States. When he was first arrested for the murder, Ulloa even gave that same fake identity to police in Jacksonville, but officials later discovered his true identity and he was arraigned on the murder charges on November 4.

JSO

It is unclear how many more potential murderers or other potential criminals — and unclear how many adults posing as teenagers — Biden and his administration have resettled in Florida and elsewhere around America for that matter. DeSantis has been aggressive in asking for the Biden administration to answer questions about this and has formally requested that they cease this practice immediately. Biden has, according to some reports, by the end of October, already released more than half a million illegal aliens into the U.S. interior this year alone.

“While Floridians are working to ensure that criminal aliens are not released back into our communities, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) appears to be hard at work resettling ever larger numbers of illegal aliens who have no lawful status under federal immigration law from the southwest border to Florida,” DeSantis wrote in an August 26 letter to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. “I ask that DHS immediately cease any further resettlement of illegal aliens in Florida and that the aliens instead be removed from the United States or resettled in states that support the administration’s continued flouting of our immigration laws.”

Later in the letter, DeSantis noted he was under “no illusion” that Mayorkas and Biden would “voluntarily” stop flying migrants into Florida — and so he demanded the administration at least provide state and local officials with critical details about the illegal aliens the Biden team is resettling in Florida. That information includes the number of such illegal aliens, each of their names and the addresses at which they are being resettled, and the names and addresses of any of their sponsors hosting them. DeSantis asked for the dates and locations of each of these illegal aliens’ removal proceedings, any criminal record history, and for any coronavirus pandemic testing data and information on them, among other critical details.

The Biden team has thus far provided none of this. If the Biden administration begins formally cooperating with law enforcement and state and local officials in Florida, the new DCF emergency order that DeSantis is rolling out on Friday morning will allow for licensure of DCF facilities under the proper legal framework — but until then, Biden’s migrant crisis will cause any facilities housing such illegal aliens to lose their ability to operate.

“The rule does provide that a license might be granted for a state facility housing unaccompanied minors only if the State of Florida and the federal government were to enter a cooperative agreement requiring the Biden Administration to consult with Florida’s state government in advance of any resettlement operation,” Pushaw, the governor’s spokeswoman, told Breitbart News. “Given the level of secrecy and refusal to share information about illegal alien resettlement that we have experienced thus far from the Biden Administration, it is fair to assume that such an agreement would be very unlikely. Moreover, the State of Florida has no obligation to enter or renew any agreement with the U.S. Government to allow resettlement of unaccompanied minors in Florida.”

Pro-Amnesty Democrats Threaten Senate Referee’s Authority

Some Democratic Senators are threatening to override the Senate’s debate referee, amid signals that the referee has decided to exclude the Democrats’ parole amnesty from the $1.7 trillion Build Back Better spending plan.

The Los Angeles Times reported December 8:

Senate Majority Whip Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.), a longtime proponent of immigration reform, said he would support overruling the parliamentarian if she rules against their latest proposal.

“I’d vote for that,” Durbin said in a brief interview. “I hope it doesn’t come to that.”

Sen. Alex Padilla (D-CA), the successful son of illegal migrants, also suggested he would try to overrule the Senate’s parliamentarian:

“Whatever it takes to get this done,” he said. “For Democrats as a whole, I think as time goes on, as negotiations continue, it’s increasingly clear how important and urgent this is.”

The parliamentarian is expected to decide this week if the Democrats’ amnesty plan is too much of a policy change to be included in a bill that is being processed via the fast-track, no-filibuster “reconciliation” process.

The Democrats are using the reconciliation bill to push their migration expansion plans because they do not have the needed 60 votes needed to overcome the Senate’s minority-protection filibuster rules.

The amnesty proposal would provide at least 6.5 million illegals with a 10-year parole status, including work permits.

But it is not clear if the Democrats can override the parliamentarian.

The Senate’s filibuster rules protect the clout of Senators from small states, and so several Democratic Senators are quietly defending the authority of the parliamentarian to enforce those rules, a Senate source told Breitbart News.

The most prominent supporter of the parliamentarian is likely Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), who has repeatedly said he would not support an override of the parliamentarian.

“It gets complicated,” Durbin told the Los Angeles Times. “There are a lot of different vectors that you can use in this debate, and I expect to see them all.”

The parole amnesty is being packaged with three other changes that would accelerate the inflow of chain migration, distribute a few hundred thousand extra green cards to migrants imported by U.S. companies, and widen the already-huge pipeline of foreign graduates into the careers needed by U.S. graduates.

“If they lose the parole piece [because of the parliamentarian’s decision], do they keep the green card giveaway in there?” a Hill staffer told Breitbart News. “It would be really bad politics for them to not get their amnesty but be giving this big green card giveaway to businesses.”

“It would be the height of irony that all of our efforts on immigration would be to help business and not help people who are undocumented,” Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ), told Bloomberg News.

But the Democrats’ real intentions are difficult to gauge. For example, even if they quietly decide to accept the parliamentarian’s decision, they likely would also stage an insincere P.R. campaign against the parliamentarian to help soften the blow to their supporters and donors.

The Fortune 500’s lobbyists say they will keep going back to the parliamentarian until she says yes to one of their cheap-labor proposals. “Just remember this process is iterative,” said a December 1 tweet from Alida Garcia, a top lobbyist at Mark and Priscilla Zuckerberg’s pro-migration group, FWD.us. “What comes back is refined clarity on what next step is – not the beginning or end.”

The parliamentarian has already shot down two Democratic amnesty plans inserted into the reconciliation bill.

Many polls show that labor migration is deeply unpopular because it damages ordinary Americans’ career opportunities, cuts their wages, and raises their rents.

Migration also curbs Americans’ productivity, shrinks their political clout, widens regional wealth gapsradicalizes their democratic, compromise-promoting civic culture, and allows elites to ignore despairing Americans at the bottom of society.

Voters Largely Agree That There Is a Border ‘Crisis’ and a Border Wall Would Help Stop It

By wide margins, U.S. voters say there is a crisis at the U.S. southern border and that building a border wall would be an effective method of stopping it, a new survey conducted for The Washington Times shows.

Fully 70% of voters – including 60% of self-described Democrats – agree that there is, indeed, a border crisis, The Times reports.

Additionally, twice as many voters disagree as agree with President Joe Biden’s contention that illegal aliens have been traumatized by the U.S. government and, thus, deserve to be compensated with payments funded by taxpayers. Forty-seven percent (47%) “strongly” disagree, nearly four times the 13% who strongly agree.

A majority of voters agree that building a border wall would be an effective way to deal with the crisis, topping anti-wall voters by a 13-point margin. In comparison, past Gallup polls revealed that majorities opposed border wall construction in both 2019 (60%) and 2018 (57%).

Today’s voters are also more likely to agree that the U.S. is admitting too many legal aliens into the country, creating a glut that makes it harder for Americans to find jobs.

In all, The Times reports that U.S. voters are most likely to:

  • Agree There is a border “crisis” (70%).
  • Agree border wall “effective” (53%-40%).
  • Agree U.S. “Admits too many people, hurting Americans already looking for jobs” (49%-40%).
  • Disagree Illegal aliens have suffered trauma and deserve taxpayer money (60%-29%).

The Times’ national survey of voters was conducted from November 19 to December 3 by OnMessage, Inc.

The New York Times is seemingly giving advice to President Joe Biden’s administration on how to provide potentially $450,000 payouts to border crossers subjected to former President Trump’s “Zero Tolerance” policy.

Biden’s Departments of Justice (DOJ), Homeland Security (DHS), and Health and Human Services (HHS) are working to settle with a number of border crossers represented by the ACLU, who claim they have suffered trauma as a result of the Zero Tolerance policy.

As part of the settlement, attorneys with the DOJ, DHS, and HHS are considering a plan that would give each border crosser about $450,000 and family units about $1 million. The total cost of the payouts would reach $1 billion.

In a piece by Times reporters Jeremy Peters and Miriam Jordan, conservatives are portrayed as “seizing on premature news of potential $450,000 payments” while the Biden administration attempts to reach a settlement with border crossers.

Biden, the Times suggests, would be smart to settle with border crossers because they claim such a deal will save American taxpayers money and avoid an awkward situation for the White House:

But there remained the question of compensating the families for the damage done. “There is no amount of money that can undo the harm that being separated for months — and in some cases, years, if parents were deported — caused our clients,” said Bree Bernwanger of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights in San Francisco, who is representing a number of families. “But, under the law, if the government hurts people, commits a torturous action, it has to be accountable for that harm.” [Emphasis added]

Anyone wronged by the United States can bring claims against the government, regardless of that person’s nationality, and the migrants have that right to due process. As a result, settling with the families as a group could actually save the government, experts said, by sparing it the expense of fighting hundreds of legal cases one by one — and it could also spare the Biden administration the awkwardness of having to defend, in court, a policy that it disavowed. [Emphasis added]

While seemingly coaching Biden on how best to handle the payouts to border crossers, the Times paints Republicans and conservatives as having “erupted at the potential figure” and even spotlight the initial government official who leaked the $450,000 figure to the Wall Street Journal.

“It was leaked by a government official, apparently out of a desire to put a public spotlight on the payments and bring the number down, according to people familiar with the negotiations, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal deliberations,” the Times reports.

Though the Times attempts to portray the issue as being one solely of concern to Republicans in Washington, D.C., opinion polls have repeatedly shown that American adults, by majorities, oppose the payouts.

About 63 percent of Americans told CBS News/YouGov pollsters that they are opposed to the payouts, including 64 percent of swing voters, and even 4-in-10 voters who supported Biden against Trump in the 2020 presidential election.

Polls from Rasmussen Reports and the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) have shown similar results wherein a majority of Americans, including likely swing voters, oppose the payouts.

A Trafalgar Group poll from November revealed that nearly 46 percent of Democrats oppose the payouts, as well as more than 88 percent of Republicans. In total, nearly 7-in-10 of all American voters said they oppose the payouts, including 67.5 percent of swing voters.

Analysis: Biden’s Amnesty to Cost Americans Nearly $500B Over 20 Years

A plan by President Joe Biden to give amnesty to millions of illegal aliens would cost American taxpayers nearly $500 billion over the course of two decades, a new analysis reveals.

Late last month, House Democrats passed the filibuster-proof “Build Back Better” reconciliation package which includes an amnesty for nearly seven million illegal aliens. Effectively, millions of illegal aliens would be able to secure parole through the legislation and thus be shielded from deportation while gaining work permits to compete against working class Americans for jobs.

new analysis by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) states that over a 20-year period, the amnesty will cost American taxpayers more than $483 billion, based on figures from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO).

CIS

Center for Immigration Studies

CIS Director of Research Steven Camarota writes that much of the cost is a result of the amnesty’s opening a number of federal welfare programs to illegal aliens:

The primary reason a parole amnesty would result in large new expenditures according to the CBO is that amnesty recipients would be able to receive Affordable Care Act subsidies, Medicaid, the Earned Income and Child Tax Credits, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, often called food stamps), Social Security, and Medicare to a much greater extent than they would without legal status. [Emphasis added]

Though providing a look into the fiscal cost of the amnesty plan, the CBO figures do not factor in the millions to billions in lost wages and jobs that such a plan may have as illegal aliens would be legally allowed to compete for jobs against Americans.

Specifically, the amnesty would allow illegal aliens to obtain work permits, driver’s licenses, and documents to travel abroad for at least a decade so long as they can prove that they have been residing in the United States since 2010.

Every year, 1.2 million legal immigrants receive green cards to permanently resettle in the U.S. In addition, 1.4 million foreign nationals are given visas to take American jobs. On top of legal immigration levels, federal officials expect that more than two million illegal aliens will have tried to cross into the U.S., many successfully, in the last year.

Democrats: Let’s Curb Inflation by Using Migrants to Cut American Wages

Democrats are openly arguing that more wage-cutting migrants should be imported to shrink the inflation that is threatening President Joe Biden’s political future.

The pro-migration LatinoRebels.com website reported the migrants-reduce-inflation claims on December 2:

Rep. Jimmy Gomez (D-CA) understands inflation at the immigrant community level. The three-term Congressman from Los Angeles has a diverse immigrant constituency from Koreatown to Eagle Rock, Boyle Heights to Downtown.

“If you have more people that are allowed to work in this country, then there’s gonna be less of a tight labor market,” said Gomez on Thursday, echoing Warren.

The Democrats’ top advocate for amnesty and migration, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL), also backed the argument, according to Bloomberg: “Asked if immigration parole proposal in [the pending Build Back Better bill] would decrease inflation, Durbin says ‘Oh most certainly … If there are more workers filling those jobs, it’s deflationary.'”

“Not enough people are seeking jobs. … As a consequence, that drives up the cost of doing business and the cost to the consumers. If there are more workers doing their jobs, it’s deflationary,” Durbin said, according to Latinorebels.com.

A “help wanted” sign hangs on a window of a restaurant in Lower Manhattan, May 4, 2018, in New York City. U.S. unemployment fell to a near-historic low of 3.9 percent and hiring remained strong in April (Drew Angerer/Getty Images).

The Democrats’ support for using migrants to cut Americans’ wages comes after a host of media and advocates argued that inflation should be curbed by immigration.

“A tight labor market is the way less-skilled workers increase their wages,” Mark Krikorian, director of the Center for Immigration Studies, responded. He continued, “Why would a Democrat — of all people — favor lowering or holding down the wages of working people through immigration? The answer is immigration is more important [to them] than anything, including the wages of working people.”

The Democrats “are saying the quiet part out loud,” Krikorian said.

However, the LatinoRebels.com site noted that Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) dodged the question: “‘I reject the false notion that the only way to keep consumer prices low is to rely on low-wage, unregulated labor,’ said Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH). ‘More stable and reliable work is the key to future supply chain resiliency.’”

Most GOP legislators also dodge the link between wages and migration and are eager to blame inflation on government spending.

Most legislators “dance around the issue and refuse to address it — even refuse to think about it. … Some of these guys are just maintaining cognitive balance by duping themselves,” Krikorian said. For example, Sen. Brown, he said, has “been voting for lowering wages [via migration] for his entire tenure in Congress. The [pending] amnesty he could maybe justify because they’re already here, but only if you’re also calling for reductions in future immigration … [and he’s] not.”

Media reporters also ignore the harmful economic impact of cheap labor, Krikorian added:

They’re part of the the apparatus. …  Some don’t even think about it, so there’s no issue there. Or they figure they’ve got a mortgage and kids, and they’ve been doing this too long and they can’t risk the Red Guards coming in throwing them out of their job. So they do what the party tells them to do.

Migration hurts U.S. journalists — and their college-graduate peers — by flooding the nation’s labor market with roughly one million imported white-collar visa workers. That imported labor force lowers white-collar salaries across many careers and pushes U.S. technology grads out of tech careers and into journalism, further reducing market-rate salaries for journalists.

Many U.S. companies also use the visa programs to import replacements for U.S. journalists. [Note: this reporter is a former immigrant.]

On a related note, Yahoo News reported on December 2:

BuzzFeed [managers] told employees of BuzzFeed News who staged a walkout Thursday — protesting what their union claims is the media company’s refusal to negotiate on key contract terms — that their pay would be docked by one day, unless they retroactively applied for paid time off.

BuzzFeed’s coverage is very pro-migration.

In the United States, migration curbs Americans’ productivity, shrinks their political clout, and widens regional wealth gaps. It radicalizes their democratic, compromise-promoting civic culture and allows elites to ignore despairing Americans at the bottom of society.

Arizona and Texas sue President Biden over border policies

EXCLUSIVE: 100K Migrant ‘Got-Aways’ Since October, Says CBP Source

Border Patrol agents estimate more than 100,000 known migrant got-aways since the fiscal year began in October. A source operating under the umbrella of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, speaking on the condition of anonymity, says the agency recorded 47,500 got-a-ways during the month of October. That is followed by an additional 52,000 got-aways in November. The source believes the increase in November means more than 600,000 migrant got-aways will be recorded this fiscal year if the trend continues.

The source says the constant flow of migrants being apprehended along the southern border impedes the agency’s ability to adequately patrol miles of the border. The absence of routine patrols is driving the got-away numbers up as there are no available Border Patrol agents to respond to electronic sensors, camera activations, and unmanned aerial surveillance sightings. On average, more than 1,700 migrants avoided apprehension by the Border Patrol each day in November.

“The best we can do is just record the got-aways and move on,” the source explained.  “We’re trying to increase patrols but the flow of migrants surrendering is unstoppable.”

The routine patrol of many areas along the southwest border has been a source of concern for many as the Border Patrol is relegated to processing, transporting, and providing transportation for thousands of migrants apprehended daily.

The known got-away count is updated daily by the Border Patrol, according to the source. The data is entered into a system of record easily accessible to agency leaders.
The metric is usually not released by DHS. The estimate is achieved by counting migrants who ultimately escape apprehension after being observed by aircraft and camera systems. Agents also use traditional sign-cutting techniques to identify footprints.

According to the source, the got-away count is usually lower than reality as the elements usually destroy the evidence of crossings after high winds and rains. The source says Border Patrol agents are frustrated knowing that areas along the border are wide open and free of patrols. “When unmanned areal systems report active border crossings, there is no doubt concerning the accuracy of the numbers, the body counts are precise, what we don’t know, is who they are and why they are crossing the border” the source added.

The constant flow of migrants crossing the southwest border has proven challenging to the Border Patrol and kept many stations above COVID-19 recommended detention levels. In one area of the border, the agency routinely relies on outdoor detention areas to stage migrants awaiting limited transportation resources and indoor detention space, Breitbart Texas reported.

Apprehension of migrants by Border Patrol agents across the U.S. remained at record levels in November, according to a CBP document reviewed by Breitbart Texas. The unofficially reported apprehension of more than 160,000 migrants in November represents an increase of more than 140 percent over the same month in 2020.

Joe Biden Abolishes 90 Percent of ICE’s Deportations

In this Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017, photo released by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement ICE shows foreign nationals being arrested this week during a targeted enforcement operation conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) aimed at immigration fugitives, re-entrants and at-large criminal aliens in Los Angeles. President Joe Biden has slashed the deportation of illegal migrants from 25 cities by roughly 90 percent, so helping business groups with a flood of desperate, low-wage workers.

Biden’s business giveaway was revealed by the Center for Immigration Studies, which also showed that Biden’s deputies have reduced by two-thirds the deportation of criminal migrants who threaten Americans and the nation’s growing population of illegal migrants.

Only 18,713 illegals were formally “removed” — deported —  from 25 interior cities, such as Atlanta, Baltimore, and Miami, from January to July in 2021, according to the data from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency. The 2021 removal number includes only 6,000 migrants convicted of serious crimes, such as MS-13 migrants.

In 2019, under Trump, 186,019 migrants were removed from the 25 cities, including 17,553 migrants convicted of serious crimes. Amid the Trump enforcement, employers were forced to raise wages, especially for lower-income Americans.

In 2020, despite the coronavirus crash, Trump’s deputies removed 93,247 migrants from the cities, including 13,120 migrants convicted of serious crimes.

In 2021, the 25-cities’ deportation rate has dropped to roughly 3,000 per month since the Senate’s confirmation of Alejandro Mayorkas, Biden’s appointee to run the Department of Homeland Security.

In calendar year 2021, Mayorkas is on track to deport just 40,000 migrants from the 25 cities. Mayorkas’s annual deportations amount to one of every 275 illegal migrants living in the United States.

In 2019, before the coronavirus crash, Trump’s deputies removed 267,000 illegal migrants nationwide, including many who committed violent crimes in the United States.

Mayorkas’s likely deportation of 40,000 migrants in all of 2021 from the 25 cities is less than just one month of arriving “got-aways” — illegal migrants who are detected yet successfully evade the border patrol. So far, roughly 400,000 job-seeking migrants have sneaked across the border under Mayorkas’ lax rules.

The Biden ICE data does not include migrants who were turned back from the border — and sometimes deported to their homelands — under the Title 42 anti-epidemic rules.

Mayorkas is a Cuban immigrant and a pro-migration zealot. In a November Senate hearing, for example, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) asked him: “What should be a higher priority of the United States Government? Securing our border or giving amnesty to illegal aliens who are already here?”

“Justice is our priority,” Mayorkas responded, adding “That includes securing our border and providing relief to those [migrants] who qualify for it under our laws.”

No Democrats voted against Mayorkas’ confirmation in February. His confirmation was also backed by several GOP senators, including Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Mitt Romney (R-UT), Dan Sullivan (R-AK), Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV),  Susan Collins (R-ME), and retiring Senator Rob Portman (R-OH).

Mayorkas’ policies reflect the U.S. government’s post-1990 policy of extracting migrants from other countries to work, rent, and spend in the United States. This economic policy pulls migrants from other countries via several channels — legal migration, visa workers, and illegal migration — so flatlining wages for employees, but spiking real estate values and the stock market for investors.

Mayorkas DHS refused to release some data that was formerly made public, according to CIS:

ICE has so far refused to provide information on whether the removed alien was arrested at the border or in the interior. Therefore, these statistics should be interpreted with caution because it is not clear to what extent they may reflect the level of enforcement at the border as well as in the interior. Nevertheless, it is possible to see in these records just how dramatically the new Biden policies have reduced ICE enforcement activity.

Mayorkas and his allies say they are using taxpayer funds to focus on the “worst of the worst.”

“ICE officers are not actually doing more effective enforcement, but are simply doing less enforcement” because of imposed bureaucratic barriers, CIS wrote:

According to ICE sources, because of the cumbersome process, and also because of sanctuary policies in some large jurisdictions, most ICE arrests are now handled by fugitive operations teams rather than by ICE officers working in jails, as had been the norm before the Biden policies were implemented. Routine arrests, once approved, now require a team of several officers who work for days to prepare a plan and execute each arrest, which now must take place in the community in an area not designated a “sensitive” location.

One ICE staff member told me that the process is extremely inefficient: “Instead of having one person working in a jail who can arrest four or five criminal aliens in a shift, now we have to send five or six guys out to make one or maybe two arrests in a shift.”

In addition to requiring what is essentially pointless busywork to seek an extra layer of approval for each arrest, agency leadership has also reduced interior enforcement by downsizing the number of working officers. This has been accomplished in many ways, including sending officers to work at the border and even by paying officers not to work. For example, ICE personnel recently were given extra “administrative leave” days off for Veteran’s Day and the Friday after Thanksgiving, which are not typically federal holidays.

Pending the arrival of new leadership in the agency, states should use their powers to ease deportations, Vaughan wrote:

With less immigration enforcement, American communities will continue to be saddled with the costs associated with illegal immigration, including displacement of U.S. workers, wage depression, more spending on social services and education, and additional crime problems. While Congress theoretically could intervene to impose stricter enforcement mandates and spending requirements, in the meantime state and local governments should act to discourage illegal settlement, penalize illegal employment, maintain strict eligibility requirements for all public benefits and driver’s licenses, and ensure that state and local law enforcement agencies are cooperating fully with ICE to identify criminal aliens.

Overall, legal and illegal migration moves wealth from employees to employers, from families to investors, from young to old, from children to their parents, from homebuyers to investors, from technology to stoop labor.

Immigration also moves wealth from heartland red states to the coastal blue states. Within each state, the extraction policy also helps move wealth and status from GOP rural districts to Democrat cities.

Immigration radicalizes Americans’ democratic, compromise-promoting civic culture and allows elites to ignore despairing Americans at the bottom of society.

“The Democrats had abandoned their working-class base to chase what they pretended was a racial group when what they were actually chasing was the momentum of unlimited migration”.

                                                DANIEL GREENFIELD

Likewise, the Biden-Harris plan for national immigration policy — which seeks to drive up legal and illegal immigration levels to their highest levels in decades — offers a flooded labor market with low wages for U.S. workers and increased bargaining power for big business that has long been supported by Wall Street.

Study: Amnesty Will Cost ‘Hundreds of Billions’

President Joe Biden’s amnesty plan will spike Social Security

spending by “hundreds of billions” over the next few decades,

according to a forecast by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS).

A DACA amnesty would put more citizen children of illegal aliens — known as “anchor babies” — on federal welfare, as Breitbart News reported, while American taxpayers would be left potentially with a $26 billion bill.

Additionally, about one-in-five DACA illegal aliens, after an amnesty, would end up on food stamps, while at least one-in-seven would go on Medicaid. JOHN BINDER

Amnesty Provisions in ‘Build Back Better’ Will Cost $483 Billion
CBO Estimates Huge Net Fiscal Drain
in First 20 years After Passage

Washington, D.C. (December 6, 2021) – As the Senate debates the Build Back Better Act (H.R. 5376), a little-noticed part of the Congressional Budget Office’s (CBO) cost estimates show the bill’s amnesty provisions create an enormous net fiscal burden (taxes paid minus costs) that starts out large and grows even larger over time — $124 billion in the first decade after passage and $359 billion in the second.  The total net fiscal cost of the bill’s amnesty provisions over 20 years is $483 billion.  The CBO also states that the bill would increase the deficit “by larger amounts in the subsequent decade.” A brief Center for Immigration Studies analysis of the CBO estimates can be found here.

“The CBO’s estimates show that legalizing illegal immigrants creates a huge burden for taxpayers that only grows larger over time,” said Dr. Steven Camarota, the Center’s Director of Research and author of the analysis.  “This is not because they all came to this country to obtain welfare. Rather, it reflects their low average levels of education, and resulting low incomes and tax contributions. Legalization does not change these basic facts, but it does allow them to access more and more programs over time.”

Among the CBO’s finding:

· Section 60001 of H.R. 5376 (parolee amnesty) would create nearly $132 billion in new expenditures 2022-2031, while generating just $7.5 billion in new revenue, for a net fiscal drain of about $124 billion in the first 10 years.

· The amnesty would create an additional $358 billion in new expenditures between 2032 and 2041, and it would also reduce revenue by more than $1 billion, creating a net drain of $359 billion in the second 10 years.

· The total net fiscal drain from the amnesty provisions for the entire 20-year period (2022 to 2041) would be about $483 billion.

· The primary reason a parole amnesty would result in large new expenditures according to the CBO is that amnesty recipients would be able to receive Affordable Care Act subsidies, Medicaid, the Earned Income and Child Tax Credits, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, Social Security, and Medicare to a much greater extent than they would without legal status.

Environmental Impact Study Must Precede 'Build Back Better'

Bill’s immigration amnesty would devastate U.S. ecology and U.S. economy.

The leaders of the Democrat Party claim to be concerned about the environment.  It was the Democrats, after all, who have been pushing The Green New Deal, a major element of the disastrous legislation known as “Build Back Better.”

However, as we shall see, hypocrisy is never difficult to find.

Before America is pushed off the proverbial cliff by the lunacy of Build Back Better, I propose that an all-inclusive environmental impact study be conducted first to explore the intended and unintended consequences of this bill.

The “pro-environment” Democrats should be delighted to have an independent study done to make certain that we safeguard the environment that they claim to be ever so concerned about!

In 1973 the Endangered Species Act was enacted to protect endangered species of flora and fauna from extinction.

Frequently  major construction projects require that environmental impact studies be conducted before work can begin, to safeguard the environment.

Having brought up the Endangered Species Act it is worth noting that on August 31, 2021 the Center for Biological Diversity issued a press release, Historic Accomplishment: Snail Darter Recovered Fish Made Famous in Tellico Dam Controversy No Longer Endangered that began with the following excerpt:

WASHINGTON— The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service proposed today to remove the snail darter from the endangered species list due to recovery. Thanks to government and collaborative efforts, the little fish is no longer in danger of extinction.

The 3-inch-long fish — named after its primary food source, small riverine mollusks — gained fame in the 1978 U.S. Supreme Court case Tennessee Valley Authority vs. Hill. The court upheld the newly passed Endangered Species Act at the request of conservationists and others who sought to protect the fish and its last free-flowing habitat in the Little Tennessee River, along with 300 family farms and countless Cherokee ancestral sites, from the construction of the Tennessee Valley Authoritys highly controversial Tellico Dam.

The press release went on to note:

Thanks to the persistence of many people, the extinction of the snail darter was ultimately avoided, and today we can celebrate its recovery,” said Zygmunt Plater, the attorney who wrote the citizens’ petition to save the darter in 1975 and represented the fish and the farmers in the Supreme Court victory. But the uneconomical Tellico project was a boondoggle from the start. The snail darter, like many other endangered species, signaled that human values are also endangered when their survival is threatened. The destruction of the Little Tennessee River shows that bad ecology is usually bad economics and its safer to save an animals natural habitat in the first place.

Today America’s middle class should be placed at the top of that Endangered Species List and should be given as much concern as the snail darter was accorded in 1975.

This past June I wrote an article about the disastrous impact that Biden’s immigration policies are having on the environment, Biden Administration Advances Environmentally-Unsustainable Immigration Policies.

The amnesty provision contained within Build Back Better would also potentially lead to the influx of tens of millions of immigrants as I outlined in my article, Biden’s 'Build Back Better' is BunkDems' plans to import tens of millions of immigrant children prove it.

Each person who is present in the United States needs much more than a pillow on which to lay his/her head at night.

Each person present in the United States creates a significant ecological footprint.

Each person needs food, water, electricity, sewerage, clothing, housing, transportation, health care and, in the case of minors, eduction.  Food required acreage of land be set aside to grow food for each person.

While Build Back Better promises to provide clean water, water shortages are becoming more pronounced, especially in the American West.

Consider this worrying report from CBS News’ 60 Minutes, Southwest states facing tough choices about water as Colorado River diminishes.

Water is not just used for drinking but to prepare food and grow crops and sustain farm animals.  Water is also essential for sanitary purposes.

While the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimates that 6.5 million illegal aliens would benefit from the amnesty provided in Build Back Better, the realty is that there is no way to really know what number of illegal aliens would participate.  The requirement that these aliens had to have entered the United States prior to 2011 is utterly meaningless.  Because the numbers of aliens are so huge there will be no interviews and no field investigations. Additionally, speaking from direct experience, I spent one year as an adjudications officer during my 30 year career with the former INS (Immigration and Naturalization Service) it is far easier and quicker for an adjudicator to approve an application for an immigration benefit than to deny it.

An application can be approved in less than 30 minutes while denials could take days or longer.

Denials are likely to be followed up by appeals by the aliens.  No one appeals an approval!

Furthermore, no record of entry is created aliens who enter the United States without inspection.  Many aliens use multiple false identities and so there would be no way to reliably determine whether an alien entered the United States ten years ago or ten days ago.

Considering the checkered background of Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Alejandro “Get to Yes” Mayorkas, adjudicators will likely be pressured to approve all of the applications they are assigned and it is also likely that there will be no efforts to verify the familial relationships between the legalized aliens and their supposed children and spouses for whom the newly legalized aliens will most likely have the authority to file petitions to grant them immigrant visas.  The outrageous claim that “only” 6.5 million illegal aliens would be granted lawful status could easily explode into tens of millions of lawful immigrants.

Each person has an economic footprint as well.  Flooding America with millions of aliens would have an adverse impact on inflation, the national debt, education, unemployment, jobs and wages.

Meanwhile, flooding America with millions of immigrants would lead to more inflation as they require food, clothing and shelter.  The cost of housing will rise dramatically while the value of labor would plummet, leading to more homelessness.

Our roads and our cities would suffer from far more congestion which would lead to more pollution.

The inability to properly vet millions if aliens would irrevocably undermine national security and public safety and send that very dangerous message to aspiring illegal aliens from around the world that in the United States violations of laws will not just be tolerated but rewarded, essentially firing the starter’s pistol for this race to the borders of the United States.

It is important to be clear that the United States has the most generous immigration policies of any other country on this planet.  Indeed, generally the United States admits more than one million lawful immigrants each year.  They are provided with “Green Cards” and are immediately placed on the path to United States citizenship.

This is more than all of the other countries from the rest of the world combined.

Additionally the United States admits tens of millions of aliens on various temporary (non-immigrant) visas- again, more than the rest of the world combined.

However, I fear that the lunacy of Build Back Better would discourage highly qualified immigrants to seek to enter our country as the situation spirals out of control even as America’s adversaries lick their chops in anticipation of the self-destruction of our nation at the hands of those We The People elected to protect the Constitution, our nation and our fellow Americans.

There is nothing “Anti-Immigrant” about securing our borders from the un-inspected entry of aliens who may pose a threat to national security, public safety, public health and the jobs and wages of Americans.  Indeed, the entry of such aliens poses a threat to Americans and lawful immigrants alike.

As the title of one of my previous articles noted, Biden’s Immigration Bill Would Be an Act of National SuicideFigures don’t lie - but liars can figure.

State and Local Politicians Move to Grant Coronavirus Relief to Illegal Aliens

Study: More than 7-in-10 California Immigrant

Welfare

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2018/12/04/study-more-than-7-in-10-california-immigrant-households-are-on-welfare/

More than 7-in-10 households headed by immigrants in the state of California are on taxpayer-funded welfare, a new study reveals.

The latest Census Bureau data analyzed by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) finds that about 72 percent of households headed by noncitizens and immigrants use one or more forms of taxpayer-funded welfare programs in California — the number one immigrant-receiving state in the U.S.

Meanwhile, only about 35 percent of households headed by native-born Americans use welfare in California.

All four states with the largest foreign-born populations, including California, have extremely high use of welfare by immigrant households. In Texas, for example, nearly 70 percent of households headed by immigrants use taxpayer-funded welfare. Meanwhile, only about 35 percent of native-born households in Texas are on welfare.

In New York and Florida, a majority of households headed by immigrants and noncitizens are on welfare. Overall, about 63 percent of immigrant households use welfare while only 35 percent of native-born households use welfare.

President Trump’s administration is looking to soon implement a policy that protects American taxpayers’ dollars from funding the mass importation of welfare-dependent foreign nationals by enforcing a “public charge” rule whereby legal immigrants would be less likely to secure a permanent residency in the U.S. if they have used any forms of welfare in the past, including using Obamacare, food stamps, and public housing.

The immigration controls would be a boon for American taxpayers in the form of an annual $57.4 billion tax cut — the amount taxpayers spend every year on paying for the welfare, crime, and schooling costs of the country’s mass importation of 1.5 million new, mostly low-skilled legal immigrants.

As Breitbart News reported, the majority of the more than 1.5 million foreign nationals entering the country every year use about 57 percent more food stamps than the average native-born American household. Overall, immigrant households consume 33 percent more cash welfare than American citizen households and 44 percent more in Medicaid dollars. This straining of public services by a booming 44 million foreign-born population translates to the average immigrant household costing American taxpayers $6,234 in federal welfare.

Biden’s Open Borders Drain American Resources: And deny citizens their rightful political role regarding immigration

By Jason Richwine

The American Spectator,

Excerpt: The border crisis has immediate legal and humanitarian consequences, but what can we expect the downstream effects on our economy to be? How will American workers and taxpayers ultimately fare? While advocates insist that the economic effects of immigration are virtually all positive, a fair assessment of the literature cannot support such a rosy outlook. In reality, the economic impact of immigration is mixed. It offers some benefits for Americans but also some costs, and weighing those competing impacts is a matter for the political process. Uncontrolled immigration denies Americans the right to that process.

Biden’s Open Borders Drain American Resources And deny citizens their rightful political role regarding immigration.

by JASON RICHWINE

Rarely is the sequence of cause and effect so clear. The current surge of migrants at our southern border is the direct result of the Biden administration eliminating the Trump rules that had once tamed the flow. Gone are the “safe third country” agreements that helped migrants apply for asylum in countries through which they had already traveled. Gone is the “remain in Mexico” policy that ensured a mere application for asylum would not be a free ticket into the United States. At the same time, Obama-era “catch and release” for minors and family units has made a comeback. As word has spread of this lax enforcement, more and more migrants throughout the world are attempting the journey.

The border crisis has immediate legal and humanitarian consequences, but what can we expect the downstream effects on our economy to be? How will American workers and taxpayers ultimately fare? While advocates insist that the economic effects of immigration are virtually all positive, a fair assessment of the literature cannot support such a rosy outlook. In reality, the economic impact of immigration is mixed. It offers some benefits for Americans but also some costs, and weighing those competing impacts is a matter for the political process. Uncontrolled immigration denies Americans the right to that process.

One of the most straightforward economic benefits of immigration is that it can hold down labor costs, thus reducing the prices of goods and services for consumers. The corresponding downside, of course, is that U.S. workers see a decline in their wages. The National Academies of Sciences demonstrated this tradeoff in its book-length report published in 2016. In one of the report’s simpler models, U.S. residents collected an annual $54 billion in economic gains due to immigration. But those gains required the transfer of about $500 billion from U.S. workers to owners of capital.

The distributional impact of immigration becomes even more concerning when we consider which workers are affected the most. Over the past fifty years, immigrants to the U.S. have been generally less skilled than the average U.S. worker, and this is especially true of the Central Americans who are now surging at the border. As a result, most will compete in the labor market with Americans who are similarly less skilled. The gains in efficiency due to immigration therefore tend to come at the expense of the least-skilled U.S. workers.

The empirical evidence for this phenomenon was aptly summarized by the National Academies in its table of estimated wage effects. Out of the twenty-two estimates in that table, eighteen were negative, and most affected U.S. residents with low levels of education. The empirical studies do have a couple of drawbacks, however. First, they use complicated models that can be difficult to relate back to the real world. Second, because these models are so assumption-driven, they generate a wide range of estimates. Even though the literature points strongly toward negative wage effects, one can always find individual studies that claim zero impact from immigration.

For some real-world evidence that falsifies the “zero impact” theory, consider the multitude of cases filed by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) against employers who openly favor immigrants over natives. The discrimination in these cases is not subtle. “All you Americans are fired” and “All you black American people, f*** you all … just go to the office and pick up your check” are actual quotes from an EEOC case against one Georgia farm. In case after case, the pattern of using immigration to depress wages and working conditions clearly emerges, and one need not be an econometrician to observe it.

Aside from the labor market, the other major economic impact of immigration falls on the government’s finances, and here again the effects are mixed. On the positive side, immigrants make the U.S. economy larger. A larger GDP gives the U.S. government more resources to exert influence on the world stage. It also can boost pure public goods, such as national defense and scientific research.

Remember, however, that although immigration increases GDP, the vast majority of the economic gains go to immigrants themselves, with little impact on per-person GDP. And unlike national defense, most government services become proportionately more expensive as the population increases. Even services meant to benefit the community as a whole — such as parks, highways, and police — can become congested and require new investments when immigrants arrive.

Determining the overall fiscal impact of immigration can be complicated, but the National Academies report offers two intuitive lessons. First, today’s immigrants as a whole are net fiscal drains — they receive more in services than they contribute in taxes. Second, although long-term estimates are less reliable, immigrants who arrive with no more than a high school diploma are likely to be net fiscal drains throughout their lives, while immigrants who arrive with at least a four-year college degree are likely to be net fiscal contributors. The U.S. may therefore wish to select for the highest-skilled immigrants, but no selection is possible while the border remains porous.

In an effort to reduce the budgetary strain associated with immigration, the Trump administration strengthened the rule against admitting aliens who are likely to become “public charges,” meaning dependent on government for their basic needs. While prior administrations had defined dependency as receiving cash welfare or institutional care, the Trump administration expanded the criteria to include receipt of Medicaid, housing assistance, and food stamps. Upon taking office, Biden promptly canceled this expansion, preferring to admit more immigrants who will use those programs.

Although illegal immigrants have largely the same labor-market impact as similarly skilled legal immigrants, some important fiscal differences exist. The most salient is that illegal immigrants cannot collect Social Security and Medicare benefits, but roughly half do contribute taxes toward those programs. These “free” contributions are an unambiguous benefit for natives, but they are also a ticking time bomb of sorts. Each surge of illegal immigration generates calls for amnesty, and since amnesty confers eligibility for benefits, the “free” contributions would turn into a net cost to taxpayers of over $1 trillion.

Once again, the economic tradeoffs inherent to immigration policy are real. A full accounting of costs and benefits needs to be part of the political process that establishes a sound immigration policy. Unfortunately, the political process cannot operate as long as the border remains unsecured. Americans have the right to decide how many and which types of people enter their country each year, but illegal immigration takes that decision out of their hands.

NY Times: Border Crossers Staying in Hotels Before Release into U.S….. AND HOMELESS LEGALS SLEEPING UNDER FREEWAYS!

JOHN BINDER

Border crossers arriving at the United States-Mexico border are being put up in high-rise hotels in southern California to quarantine before being released into the interior of the U.S., the New York Times reports.

As President Joe Biden’s administration has restarted Catch and Release — whereby border crossers are freed into the U.S. interior while awaiting their asylum and immigration hearings — many are being put up in hotels to quarantine until they are released.

In Texas, border crossers do not have to quarantine before being released into the U.S.

The Times reports:

To guard against the coronavirus, health authorities in San Diego have arranged housing for hundreds of arriving migrants in a downtown high-rise hotel, where they are being quarantined before being allowed to join family or friends in the interior of the United States. [Emphasis added]

Health authorities in San Diego have ruled that those crossing into California must remain at the hotel for 10 days before being allowed to go onward. There is no similar quarantine requirement in Texas for migrants who arrive with no coronavirus symptoms, according to volunteers working with the migrants; there, they said, those released by Border Patrol are being allowed to board buses and travel to other destinations. [Emphasis added]

In San Diego, more hotels were being lined up to take in migrants, said Ms. Clark of Jewish Family Service. “We are going to need federal resources,” she said. [Emphasis added]

The Times report reveals some of the first totals of the rate at which border crossers are being released into the U.S. despite the ongoing Chinese coronavirus crisis. The uptick in border crossers, the Times admits, is due to “expectations of a friendlier reception” spurred by the Biden administration’s talk of amnesty for illegal aliens, a halt to deportations, and a crippling of interior immigration enforcement.

For instance, the Times reports that more than 1,000 border crossers have been released into the U.S. interior “in recent days,” while migrant camps across the border in Mexico have “boomed to 1,000 people over the past few weeks.”

Activists said that at least 1,000 border crossers have been released into the U.S. “in recent days” in Texas and hundreds more have been released in southern California.

According to Catch and Release totals from one advocacy group, more than 200 border crossers have been released to them in southern California in the first week of February. For context, only 54 border crossers were released to the group in the entire month of December and just 140 in January.

In Texas, 47 migrant families were released near Kingsville, Texas, recently.

The increase in Catch and Release has meant a shift in the kinds of migration the U.S. is experiencing as well. Previously, federal immigration officials had made clear that lacking health care is not a legal claim for asylum.

The Biden administration is using parole programs to release border crossers who are in poor health into the U.S. so they can take advantage of public resources and medical services meant for legal immigrants and American citizens.

One case detailed by the Times noted that a Honduran national in poor health had fled Honduras with her family more than a year ago but was not admitted to the U.S. until a week ago thanks to a loose border policy by the Biden administration.

As Breitbart News reported, the Biden administration has been releasing border crossers into the U.S. without testing them for coronavirus. Nearly 400 border crossers in McAllen, Texas, were released in recent weeks and given parole to stay in the U.S.

Jobless as Biden Packs U.S. Labor Force with Foreign Workers

Pixabay

JOHN BINDER

Millions of Americans are projected to remain jobless for the next three to four years, according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), though President Joe Biden is looking to fill American jobs with foreign workers.

In a report released this month, CBO analysts said the number of jobless Americans — all of whom want full-time jobs — will not return to pre-coronavirus levels until around 2024.

“As the economy expands, many people rejoin the civilian labor force who had left it during the pandemic, restoring it to its pre-pandemic size in 2022,” the CBO report states. “The unemployment rate gradually declines throughout the period, and the number of people employed returns to its pre-pandemic level in 2024.”

The CBO analysis projects that while the unemployment rate, which hides the number of total Americans out of the workforce, will return to an average of about four percent between 2024 and 2025. Biden, himself, admitted on camera that the U.S. would not be at “full employment” until 2031.

“That’s not hyperbole. That’s a fact,” Biden said.

— Breaking911 (@Breaking911) February 5, 2021

Before then, millions of Americans are projected to remain jobless though that has not kept the Biden administration from pursuing a labor policy that floods the United States labor market with millions of illegal aliens, foreign visa workers, and green card-holders.

At the U.S.-Mexico border, Biden has restarted the Catch and Release program, which frees border crossers and illegal aliens into the interior of the country while they await their asylum hearings. Previously, a series of cooperative agreements with Central America and the Remain in Mexico policy had effectively ended Catch and Release, drastically cutting asylum fraud.

Many of those border crossers and illegal aliens will hunt for mostly blue-collar American jobs that otherwise would go to Americans.

Similarly, Biden has suggested he will surge refugee resettlement to the U.S. by 2022, seek an amnesty for nearly all illegal aliens, and block reforms to various visa programs while seeking an increase in legal immigration levels.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which helps protect the U.S. labor market by enforcing federal immigration law, has been crippled by Biden’s orders that attempt to halt deportations and only prioritize the arrest of illegal aliens who are terrorists, national security threats, or convicted aggravated felons.

The initiatives are being cheered by Wall Street, Big Tech, and corporate interests who can boost profit margins by cutting the cost of U.S. labor via a flooded labor market.

Today, there are more than 17 million jobless Americans and another six million who are underemployed. All want full-time jobs with competitive wages and good benefits.

Every year, about 1.2 million legal immigrants are awarded green cards to permanently resettle in the U.S. and eventually apply for citizenship. In addition, another 1.4 million visas are given out annually to foreign nationals to take U.S. jobs, while 11 to 22 million illegal aliens currently live in the country.

THE STAGGERING COST OF THE WELFARE STATE MEXICO AND THE LA RAZA SUPREMACY DEMOCRAT PARTY HAVE BUILT BORDER to OPEN BORDER’

http://mexicanoccupation.blogspot.com/2017/10/spencer-p-morrison-devastating-cost-of.html

According to the Federation for American Immigration Reform’s 2017 report, illegal immigrants, and their children, cost American taxpayers a net $116 billion annually -- roughly $7,000 per alien annually. While high, this number is not an outlier: a recent study by the Heritage Foundation found that low-skilled immigrants (including those here illegally) cost Americans trillions over the course of their lifetimes, and a study from the National Economics Editorial found that illegal immigration costs America over $140 billion annually. As it stands, illegal immigrants are a massive burden on American taxpayers.

Study: 14.5M Illegal Aliens Living in U.S., Costing Americans $134B a Year…. THE NUMBER OF ILLEGALS EXCEEDS 40 MILLION WITH THOUSANDS JUMPING OUR OPEN BORDERS AND JOBS DAILY. NOW DO THE MATH!

JOHN BINDER

Roughly 14.5 million illegal aliens live across the United States, costing American taxpayers about $134 billion every year, a new study reveals.

An annual study released by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) finds that the illegal alien population in the U.S. has grown by at least 200,000 since 2019 and has cost taxpayers an additional $2 billion since last year.

Though the number of illegal aliens in the U.S. has increased, the FAIR study states that growth among the illegal alien population has slowed over the last year because of the Chinese coronavirus crisis and because of former President Donald Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy, which stopped the practice of border crossers being released into the interior of the country.

“As many as 60 percent of all new illegal aliens in any given year are those who have overstayed visas,” FAIR researchers write. “Thanks to a timely travel freeze implemented by the Trump administration to stop the spread of the virus, far fewer people entered the United States in recent months, so far fewer people had the opportunity to overstay their visas.”

The growth of the illegal alien population and its fiscal burden on taxpayers has been enormous over the last decade, though. In 2010, for instance, FAIR estimated the illegal alien population stood at just over 11 million, indicating a more than 31 percent increase in the population in just ten years.

Study: Amnesty Will Cost ‘Hundreds of Billions’

NEIL MUNRO

President Joe Biden’s amnesty plan will spike Social Security spending by “hundreds of billions” over the next few decades, according to a forecast by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS).

The predicted $93,000 per person cost would be a financial burden for taxpayers — but would be a giveaway to business groups because the Social Security payments will be converted into purchases of consumer products, healthcare services, medical drugs, apartments, and food.

At least 11 million people — perhaps 20 million — are living illegally in the United States. The number rises as people overstay their visas, evade deportation orders, or sneak over the border — but it also falls as some migrants get deported, leave, or find ways to get green cards via the rolling “Adjustment of Status” process.

But taxpayers’ expenses are also economic gains for business groups and investors. In January 2020, a coalition of business groups sued deputies for President Donald Trump after he reduced the inflow of poor migrants into the U.S. consumer market, saying:

Because [green-card applicants] will receive fewer public benefits under the Rule, they will cut back their consumption of goods and services, depressing demand throughout the economy …

The New American Economy Research Fund calculates that, on top of the $48 billion in income that is earned by individuals who will be affected by the Rule—and that will likely be removed from the U.S. economy—the Rule will cause an indirect economic loss of more than $33.9 billion … Indeed, the Fiscal Policy Institute has estimated that the decrease in SNAP and Medicaid enrollment under the Rule could, by itself, lead to economic ripple effects of anywhere between $14.5 and $33.8 billion, with between approximately 100,000 and 230,000 jobs lost … Health centers alone would be forced to drop as many as 6,100 full-time medical staff.

CIS promised a more detailed report:

This is just a rough estimate. We are currently working on a detailed model that will provide more precise costs for both Social Security and Medicare. Again, however, any reasonable calculation will produce a large cost, simply because amnesty will convert so many outside contributors into actual beneficiaries.

For years, a wide variety of pollsters have shown deep and broad opposition to labor migration and to the inflow of temporary contract workers into jobs sought by young U.S. graduates.

The multiracialcross-sexnon-racistclass-basedintra-Democratic, and solidarity-themed opposition to labor migration coexists with generally favorable personal feelings toward legal immigrants and toward immigration in theory — despite the media magnification of many skewed polls and articles that still push the 1950’s corporate “Nation of Immigrants” claim.

The deep public opposition is built on the widespread recognition that migration moves money from employees to employers, from families to investors, from young to old, from children to their parents, from homebuyers to real estate investors, and from the central states to the coastal states.

However, Biden’s officials have been broadcasting their desire to change border policies to help extract more migrants from Central America for the U.S. economy. On February 19, for example, deputies of DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas posted a tweet offering support to migrants illegally working in the United States and to migrants who may wish to live in the United States.

We'll get 1 million-plus Biden migrants this year, warns ex-Obama/DHS official now at Harvard.
The warning includes a weak criticism of the ethnic lobbies & open-borders progressives who are undermining an Ivy League giveaway in the amnesty bill.#H1B https://t.co/RqZBEGcxKO

Biden’s HHS Nominee Does Not Rule Out Taxpayer-Funded Healthcare for Illegal Aliens

 JOHN BINDER

President Joe Biden’s nominee to lead the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), California Attorney General Xavier Becerra, dodged a question on whether he would push to provide American taxpayer-funded healthcare benefits to illegal aliens.

This week, during a hearing before the Senate Finance Committee, Becerra was asked by Senator Steve Daines (R-MT) about his previous support for decriminalizing illegal immigration and providing illegal aliens with taxpayer-funded healthcare benefits.

Becerra, though, dodged the question by saying he would follow the parameters of the Affordable Care Act, commonly known as Obamacare, which he said allows “very rare” cases of illegal aliens to receive benefits.

The exchange went as follows:

DAINES: You’re on record for pushing for allowing illegal immigrants to receive taxpayer-funded healthcare and for decriminalizing illegal entry into the United States. This coupled with President Biden’s radical plan for granting citizenship to those who are here illegally would potentially lead to hundreds of thousands, if not potentially millions, more people flooding into our country. [Emphasis added]

As you know, in 2016, California passed a law requiring covered Californians to apply for … waivers to allow illegal immigrants to purchase health insurance in the marketplace. This waiver was withdrawn after President Trump’s election. [Emphasis added]

My question is this: Will you attempt to use the waiver authority contained in the Affordable Care Act to grant healthcare benefits to illegal immigrants? [Emphasis added]

BECERRA: Senator, I can tell you that where the law, as it stands now as I see it, it does not allow those who are unauthorized in this country to receive taxpayer-paid benefits except in very rare circumstances and it will be my job to make sure that we are following and enforcing the law. And I can commit to you that that is what we will do. [Emphasis added]

In a letter to Biden, 11 Senate Republicans and 64 House Republicans asked the president to withdraw Becerra’s nomination to be HHS Secretary, citing his support for taxpayer-funded healthcare benefits for illegal aliens, among other issues.

“Mr. Becerra seeks to decriminalize illegal immigration, which would extend expensive government benefits like Medicaid to anyone who illegally crosses our borders,” the letter states.

A Politico report this week suggested Becerra is eyeing plans to provide illegal aliens with taxpayer-funded healthcare benefits should he lead HHS.

“He’s one of those individuals that had exceedingly deep convictions about the need to cover the undocumented individuals in all of our communities,” former Rep. Charles Gonzalez (D-TX) told Politico of Becerra.

Should Becerra become HHS Secretary, he could let illegal aliens onto Obamacare exchanges while pressuring states to pursue similar policies to those in California. Likewise, Becerra could open Obamacare exchanges to particular subgroups of illegal aliens, like those enrolled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

As Breitbart News reported, forcing taxpayers to provide healthcare to all illegal aliens would cost citizens anywhere between $23 billion to $66 billion every single year — potentially a $660 billion bill for taxpayers every decade, without adjusting for inflation and the increasing number of illegal aliens.

Cost is only the first issue facing taxpayers. Medical experts have admitted providing healthcare to illegal aliens would ensure a never-ending flood of illegal aliens arriving at the southern border with “serious health problems” and local hospitals would have to cover the costs.

Already, taxpayers are forced to subsidize about $18.5 billion of yearly medical costs for illegal aliens living in the U.S., according to estimates by Chris Conover, formerly of the Center for Health Policy and Inequalities Research at Duke University.

When U.S. voters were polled by CNN on the issue in July 2019, nearly 6-in-10 said they were opposed to such a policy, including 63 percent of swing voters and 61 percent of self-described “moderates.”

JOHN BINDER

THE NEW PRIVILEGED CLASS: Illegals!

This is why you work From Jan - May paying taxes to the government ....with the rest of the calendar year is money for you and your family.

Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children. He takes a job for $5.00 or 6.00/hour. At that wage, with six dependents, he pays no income tax, yet at the end of the year, if he files an Income Tax Return, with his fake Social Security number, he gets an "earned income credit" of up to $3,200..... free.

He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent.

He qualifies for food stamps.

He qualifies for free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care.

His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school.

He requires bilingual teachers and books.

He qualifies for relief from high energy bills.

If they are or become, aged, blind or disabled, they qualify for SSI.

Once qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicare. All of this is at (our) taxpayer's expense.

He doesn't worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance.

Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed material.

He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to $30.00/hour in benefits.

Working Americans are lucky to have $5.00 or $6.00/hour left after Paying their bills and his.

The American taxpayers also pay for increased crime, graffiti and trash clean-up.

ExclusiveSteve Camarota: Every Illegal Alien Costs Americans $70K Over Their Lifetime

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/04/11/exclusive-steve-camarota-every-illegal-alien-costs-americans-70k-over-their-lifetime/

JOHN BINDER

Every illegal alien, over the course of their lifetime, costs American taxpayers about $70,000, Center for Immigration Studies Director of Research Steve Camarota says.

During an interview with SiriusXM Patriot’s Breitbart News Daily, Camarota said his research has revealed the enormous financial burden that illegal immigration has on America’s working and middle class taxpayers in terms of public services, depressed wages, and welfare.

“In a person’s lifetime, I’ve estimated that an illegal border crosser might cost taxpayers … maybe over $70,000 a year as a net cost,” Camarota said. “And that excludes the cost of their U.S.-born children, which gets pretty big when you add that in.”

LISTEN:

“Once [an illegal alien] has a child, they can receive cash welfare on behalf of their U.S.-born children,” Camarota explained. “Once they have a child, they can live in public housing. Once they have a child, they can receive food stamps on behalf of that child. That’s how that works.”

Camarota said the education levels of illegal aliens, border crossers, and legal immigrants are largely to blame for the high level of welfare usage by the f0reign-born population in the U.S., noting that new arrivals tend to compete for jobs against America’s poor and working class communities.

In past waves of mass immigration, Camarota said, the U.S. did not have an expansive welfare system. Today’s ever-growing welfare system, coupled with mass illegal and legal immigration levels, is “extremely problematic,” according to Camarota, for American taxpayers.

The RAISE Act — reintroduced in the Senate by Senators Tom Cotton (R-AR), David Perdue (R-GA), and Josh Hawley (R-MO) — would cut legal immigration levels in half and convert the immigration system to favor well-educated foreign nationals, thus relieving American workers and taxpayers of the nearly five-decade-long wave of booming immigration. Currently, mass legal immigration redistributes the wealth of working and middle class Americans to the country’s top earners.

“Virtually none of that existed in 1900 during the last great wave of immigration, when we also took in a number of poor people. We didn’t have a well-developed welfare state,” Camarota continued:

We’re not going to stop [the welfare state] tomorrow. So in that context, bringing in less educated people who are poor is extremely problematic for public coffers, for taxpayers in a way that it wasn’t in 1900 because the roads weren’t even paved between the cities in 1900. It’s just a totally different world. And that’s the point of the RAISE Act is to sort of bring in line immigration policy with the reality say of a large government … and a welfare state. [Emphasis added]

The immigrants are not all coming to get welfare and they don’t immediately sign up, but over time, an enormous fraction sign their children up. It’s likely the case that of the U.S.-born children of illegal immigrants, more than half are signed up for Medicaid — which is our most expensive program. [Emphasis added]

As Breitbart News has reported, U.S. households headed by foreign-born residents use nearly twice the welfare of households headed by native-born Americans.

Every year the U.S. admits more than 1.5 million foreign nationals, with the vast majority deriving from chain migration. In 2017, the foreign-born population reached a record high of 44.5 million. By 2023, the Center for Immigration Studies estimates that the legal and illegal immigrant population of the U.S. will make up nearly 15 percent of the entire U.S. population.

Another line they cut into: Illegals get free public housing as impoverished Americans wait

By Monica Showalter

Want some perspective on why so many blue sanctuary cities have so many homeless encampments hovering around?

Try the reality that illegal immigrants are routinely given free public housing by the U.S., based on the fact that they are uneducated, unskilled, and largely unemployable. Those are the criteria, and now importing poverty has never been easier. Shockingly, this comes as millions of poor Americans are out in the cold awaiting that housing that the original law was intended to help.

Thus, the tent cities, and by coincidence, the worst of these emerging shantytowns are in blue sanctuary cities loaded with illegal immigrants - Orange County, San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, New York...Is there a connection? At a minimum, it's worth looking at.

The Trump administration's Department of Housing and Urban Development is finally trying to put a stop to it as 1.5 million illegals prepare to enter the U.S. this year, and one can only wonder why they didn't do it yesterday.

According to a report in the Washington Times:

The plan would scrap Clinton-era regulations that allowed illegal immigrants to sign up for assistance without having to disclose their status.

Under the new Trump rules, not only would the leaseholder using public housing have to be an eligible U.S. person, but the government would verify all applicants through the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) database, a federal system that’s used to weed illegal immigrants out of other welfare programs.

Those already getting HUD assistance would have to go through a new verification, though it would be over a period of time and wouldn’t all come at once.

“We’ve got our own people to house and need to take care of our citizens,” an administration official told The Washington Times. “Because of past loopholes in HUD guidance, illegal aliens were able to live in free public housing desperately needed by so many of our own citizens. As illegal aliens attempt to swarm our borders, we’re sending the message that you can’t live off of American welfare on the taxpayers’ dime.”

The Times notes that the rules are confusingly contradictary, and some illegal immigrant families are getting full rides based on just one member being born in the U.S. The pregnant caravaner who calculatingly slipped across the U.S. in San Diego late last year, only to have her baby the next day, now, along with her entire family, gets that free ride on government housing. Plus lots of cheesy news coverage about how heartwarming it all is. That's a lot cheaper than any housing she's going to find back in Tegucigalpa.

Migrants would be almost fools not to take the offering.

The problem of course is that Americans who paid into these programs, and the subset who find themselves in dire circumstances, are in fact being shut out.

The fill-the-pews Catholic archbishops may love to tout the virtues of illegal immigrants and wave signs about getting 'justice" for them, but the hard fact here is that these foreign nationals are stealing from others as they take this housing benefit under legal technicalities. That's not a good thing under anyone's theological law. But hypocrisy is comfortable ground for the entire open borders lobby as they shamelessly celebrate lawbreaking at the border, leaving the impoverished of the U.S. out cold.

The Trump administration is trying to have this outrage fixed by summer. But don't imagine it won't be without the open-borders lawsuits, the media sob stories, the leftist judges, and the scolding clerics.

Los Angeles County Pays Over a Billion in Welfare to Illegal Aliens Over Two Years

BY MASOOMA HAQ

In 2015 and 2016, Los Angeles County paid nearly $1.3 billion in welfare funds to illegal aliens and their families. That figure amounts to 25 percent of the total spent on the county’s entire needy population, according to Fox News.

The state of California is home to more illegal aliens than any other state in the country. Approximately one in five illegal aliens lives in California, Pew reported.

Approximately a quarter of California’s 4 million illegal immigrants reside in Los Angeles County. The county allows illegal immigrant parents with children born in the United States to seek welfare and food stamp benefits.

The welfare benefits data acquired by Fox News comes from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services and shows welfare and food stamp costs for the county’s entire population were $3.1 billion in 2015, $2.9 billion in 2016.

The data also shows that during the first five months of 2017, more than 60,000 families received a total of $181 million.

Over 58,000 families received a total of $602 million in benefits in 2015 and more than 64,000 families received a total of $675 million in 2016.

Robert Rector, a Heritage Foundation senior fellow who studies poverty and illegal immigration, told Fox the costs represent “the tip of the iceberg.”

“They get $3 in benefits for every $1 they spend,” Rector said. It can cost the government a total of $24,000 per year per family to pay for things like education, police, fire, medical, and subsidized housing.

In February of 2019, the Los Angeles city council signed a resolution making it a sanctuary city. The resolution did not provide any new legal protections to their immigrants, but instead solidified existing policies.

In October 2017, former California governor Jerry Brown signed SB 54 into law. This bill made California, in Brown’s own words, a “sanctuary state.” The Justice Department filed a lawsuit against the State of California over the law. A federal judge dismissed that suit in July. SB 54 took effect on Jan. 1, 2018.

According to Center for Immigration Studies, “The new law does many things: It forbids all localities from cooperating with ICE detainer notices, it bars any law enforcement officer from participating in the popular 287(g) program, and it prevents state and local police from inquiring about individuals’ immigration status.”

Some counties in California have protested its implementation and joined the Trump administration’s lawsuit against the state.

California’s campaign to provide public services to illegal immigrants did not end with the exit of Jerry Brown. His successor, Gavin Newsom, is just as focused as Brown in funding programs for illegal residents at the expense of California taxpayers.

California’s budget earmarks millions of dollars annually to the One California program, which provides free legal assistance to all aliens, including those facing deportation, and makes California’s public universities easier for illegal-alien students to attend.

According to the Fiscal Burden of Illegal Immigration on United States Taxpayers 2017 report, for the estimated 12.5 million illegal immigrants living in the country, the resulting cost is a $116 billion burden on the national economy and taxpayers each year, after deducting the $19 billion in taxes paid by some of those illegal immigrants.

New data from the U.S. Census Bureau shows that more than 22 million non-citizens now live in the United States.

Study: Amnesty Will Cost ‘Hundreds of Billions’

President Joe Biden’s amnesty plan will spike Social Security

spending by “hundreds of billions” over the next few decades,

according to a forecast by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS).

In today's election, yours is a choice between freedom and globalism

By Mark Christian

I know something about both freedom and globalism.  What I know is that you cannot have both, which is why I immigrated to America, the world's last stronghold of freedom.

In the way of background, I grew up in a prominent Muslim family in Egypt and became an imam at an early age.  Like Christianity, Islam is a global religion.  Unlike Christianity, Islam imposes an imperial global vision on true believers and denies them freedom of thought and movement.

Progressive globalism does much the same.  Although Islam and progressivism would seem to have nothing in common, they do share one overriding goal: the need to crush traditional American Christianity, the one obstacle to world dominance in either case.  At some point, Islam and progressivism will part ways, but for now, they are content to "coexist."

Progressive leaders turn a blind eye to the slaughter of Christians at a church in France or the shooting of a priest in another church or the beheading of a French teacher for daring to show a picture of Mohammed, the prophet of Islam.  In countries like France, leftists have been responsible for as much church vandalism as Muslims, maybe more.  For now, the left and Islam are allies.  The result of the failed immigration policies and the rabid push of atheism by most European governments has made their combined mayhem possible.

The mayhem has been papered over with lies, which is why Joe Biden makes such a perfect front man for the global elites.  Biden has lied about almost everything in his life.  Where to begin?

Biden lied about his undergraduate degree and his majors, lied about his rank in law school, lied  aboutscholarships and educational aid he had  received, lied about his stance toward the Vietnam  war while in college, lied about his plagiarism of  other politician's writings and speeches, lied about  the circumstances around his first wife's fatal  accident, lied about how he met his second and  current wife, and lied about the affair they were  having when they were both married.

Joe Biden is the embodiment of the dark side of American politics.

When the Vietnam war ended, and our troops needed funding to evacuate gracefully, Joe Biden stood in the way.  His obstruction led to Saigon's fall and the disgraceful flight of American troops and personnel off the American embassy's rooftop in Vietnam.

When President Ford pleaded with Congress to help the Vietnamese refugees, the ones who were aiding Americans during the war, Joe Biden stood in the way.  Even though many of these refugees were orphan children, Joe Biden called them criminals and prostitutes on the Senate floor.

Most recently and dramatically, Biden lied about his knowledge of his son's shady dealings,  lied about his own involvement in corruption and bribery, and lied about his current presidential agenda and what he wants to implement in regards to energy, fracking, court-packing, health care, education, and COVID among other issues.

Biden has lied about so much that I am not sure if he ever told the truth or is now even capable of doing so.  Thanks to Big Tech's and Big Media's suppression of his record, he can present himself as a man of character and high morals.  We must feel sorry for the multitude of gullible Americans who believe him.

Do not be a fool and believe for a second that the elites hate Trump because of his tweets or because he is allegedly a sexist, a rapist, a racist, or a foreign agent.  Nor do they hate him because of the pandemic death toll.

In reality, the elites hate Trump because of "YOU," because you elected a man they did not nominate and could not control.  I have never seen global anticipation for an American election like this one.  The world is watching.  The progressive and Islamic elites are pulling for Biden, but lovers of freedom all over the world are quietly cheering for Trump.  If you have yet to vote, be sure to vote today and give them something to cheer about.

Likewise, the Biden-Harris plan for national immigration policy — which seeks to drive up legal and illegal immigration levels to their highest levels in decades — offers a flooded labor market with low wages for U.S. workers and increased bargaining power for big business that has long been supported by Wall Street.

Biden to Give Free Work Permits to Most of 70K Afghans Brought to U.S. Thus Far

JOHN BINDER

President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has announced plans to provide work permits to tens of thousands of Afghans brought to the United States, free of charge.

On Monday, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced that the agency will exempt Afghans brought to the U.S. via “humanitarian parole” from filing fees to “help facilitate their resettlement in the U.S. by streamlining the processing of requests for work authorization, green cards, and associated services.”

“By providing these evacuees with access to streamlined processing and fee exemptions, we will open doors of opportunity for our Afghan allies and help them begin to rebuild their lives in communities across our country more quickly,” Mayorkas said in a statement.

The policy move means that most of the roughly 70,000 Afghans, whom Biden has flown to the U.S. for resettlement across 46 states, will be able to apply for and secure work permits without paying the $500 filing fees that other foreign nationals typically must pay.

As Breitbart News has reported, multinational corporations in the airline industry, pharmaceutical industry, big banks, and tech conglomerates are working closely with the Biden administration to funnel Afghans into American jobs.

Facilitating much of the corporate partnership is a non-governmental organization (NGO) backed by former Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama and former first ladies Hillary Clinton, Laura Bush, and Michelle Obama.

As of November 1, about 10,000 of the 70,000 Afghans brought to the U.S. thus far have been resettled in American communities with no say from residents or local and state officials.

Refugee resettlement costs taxpayers nearly $9 billion every five years. Over the course of a lifetime, taxpayers pay about $133,000 per refugee and within five years of resettlement, roughly 16 percent will need taxpayer-funded housing assistance.

Over the last 20 years, nearly a million refugees have been resettled in the nation — more than double the number of residents living in Miami, Florida, and it would be the equivalent of annually adding the population of Pensacola, Florida.
