The answers Sec. of State Antony Blinken had for Chuck Todd on Sunday's "Meet the Press" may explain why congressmen are filing articles of impeachment against him. When confronted about the families who lost their children as a result of Thursday's terrorist attack, Blinken discussed "taking[ing] responsibility."

Here's the relevant part of the exchange:

CHUCK TODD:

I want to close -- you talked about how personal this has been, this tragic terrorist attack. It's not been easy for the parents. And you may have to speak to some of these parents face to face. Steve Nikoui, who is the father of Marine Lance Corporal Kareem Nikoui, one of the soldiers who died in the attack, here's what he said. He said, "They sent my son over there as a paper pusher, and then had the Taliban outside providing security. I blame my own military leaders. Biden turned his back on him. That's it." Obviously, he's grieving, and he's very upset. What are you going to say to these parents that believe it's the American government in some way that let their son down?

SEC. ANTONY BLINKEN:

Chuck, there are no words that I can say that, I think, anyone can say to assuage the grief that a parent is feeling at the loss of their child. Nothing. And if I were in his shoes, probably I'd feel exactly the same way. All I can do is take responsibility for my own actions and do everything possible to continue to bring people out of Afghanistan who want to leave between now and the 31st, and every single day thereafter. That's my -- my responsibility. But I -- as a -- as a parent myself, I feel deeply what he expressed. And all I can say is, I'm deeply, deeply sorry.

To say Sec. Blinken--or really anyone--has taken responsibility is a stretch at best.

As Reagan reported, Reps. Ralph Norman (R-SC) and Andy Harris (R-MD) have filed articles of impeachment against the secretary.

statement from Rep. Norman in part mentioned such responsibilities in that "Secretary Blinken is also responsible for the safety of American citizens abroad and, in the case of danger, the safe and efficient evacuation of those Americans – which he has not done thus far."

Blinken's other responses during the interview weren't much better.

When pressed about what will happen on September 1, Blinken confirmed they have not changed the deadline:

Well, two things Chuck. First, in terms of having an on-the-ground diplomatic presence on September 1st, that's not likely to happen. But what is going to happen is that our commitment to continue to help people leave Afghanistan who want to leave and who are not out by September 1st, that endures. There's no deadline on that effort. And we have ways, we have mechanisms to help facilitate the ongoing departure of people from Afghanistan if they choose to leave.

His assurances about the Taliban were also lackluster. When asked if there was going to be "more negotiating with the Taliban, here was Blinken's response:

Well, look, I'm not going to get into the detail, but let me say this. First, you may have seen that just yesterday a very senior Talib an official went on television and radio across the country and repeatedly assured people in Afghanistan that they would have the freedom to travel after August 31st. He even specifically said, "Those who worked for the Americans and those who want to leave for whatever reason will have that freedom." Now of course, we don't take the Taliban at their word, we take them by their deed. And that's what we're going to be looking to. We have more than 100 countries, 114 countries who signed onto a statement we initiated making clear the international community expects the Taliban to make good on a commitment to let people continue to leave the country after August 31st. That freedom of travel is essential to the international community's expectations of the Taliban going forward. And working with other countries very closely, we're going to make sure that we put in place the means to do that. An airport that functions, other ways of leaving the country, all of that is what we're working on in the days ahead.

There was also a question about "cooperation" with Taliban can be assured, with Blinken sticking to dependency on this "international community":

CHUCK TODD:

What -- what has been promised to the Taliban for this cooperation? Is it money? Is it -- is it money that we have frozen right now that they perhaps might be able to use for governing?

SEC. ANTONY BLINKEN:

Nothing has been promised to the Taliban. To the contrary, we have made very clear, and not just us, country upon country around the world have made clear that there are very significant expectations of the Taliban going forward if they're going to have any kind of relationship with the rest of the world. Starting with freedom of travel, but then going on to making sure that they're sustaining the basic rights of their people, including women and girls, making sure that they're making good on commitments they've repeatedly made on counterterrorism and having some inclusivity in governance.

He denied there being that kill list given to the Taliban, but his answer indicated there was indeed one:

CHUCK TODD:

I want to ask about this idea that we’re -- some of these lists of people that you're trying to get out of the country you've had to give to the Taliban. And I know you guys have some -- that you think some of this has been a bit overreported or exaggerated. But given the Haqqani network's ties to the Taliban, how can you be sure any list you share of Afghans who helped Americans won't be used for horrendous reasons by the Haqqani network or others?

SEC. ANTONY BLINKEN:

Chuck, it's simply not the case. The idea that we've done anything to put at further risk those that we're trying to help leave the country is simply wrong. And the idea that we shared lists of Americans or others with the Taliban is simply wrong --

CHUCK TODD:

What was shared?

SEC. ANTONY BLINKEN:

In specific -- so, in specific instances when you're trying to get a bus or a group of people through, and you need to show a manifest to do that, because particularly in cases where people don't have the necessary credentials on them or documents on them, then you would -- you'll share names on a list of people on the bus so they can be assured that those are people that we're looking to bring in. And by definition, that's exactly what's happened. We've gotten 5,500 American citizens out of Afghanistan. And to the extent that in an individual case with a particular group or a bus to verify that the people on the bus or in that group were people who were supposed to come out, American citizens, especially again, if they lacked the right document with them, that's what we would do. But the idea that we put anyone in any further jeopardy is simply wrong.

It's worth reminding that not even President Joe Biden denied there was such a list.

President Biden said he would bring America back. No, the Taliban is back. In little more than seven months, he seems to be doing everything he can to bring America down.

A guest on Dan Bongino’s radio show asked a question that demands an answer—If Biden wanted to destroy this country, would he do anything differently than what he has been doing? By looking at some of his policies and decisions in his first seven months, it could be argued that President Biden and his administration seem committed to destroying America as a beacon of freedom, law and order, and opportunity! The list of evidence keeps growing:

If you want to destroy America, open our Southern border to all who want to come in.Instead of continuing the work of his predecessor to secure our Southern border, Biden has opened America to unprecedented numbers of illegal aliens, M13 gang members, drug dealers, and potential terrorists from around the world. Even illegal immigrants with COVID have been welcomed and transported to states throughout the country at American taxpayer expense. Thankfully, a U.S. Supreme Court ruling has revived Trump’s “Stay in Mexico” policy, but implementation requires Mexico’s cooperation and that’s far from sure.

If you want to destroy America, do everything you can to end our energy independence. While giving his stamp of approval to Russia’s oil pipeline to Europe,President Biden has sabotaged President Trump’s progress in securing energy independence, He has halted construction on the Keystone XL Pipeline, closed drilling on federal lands, and is working to revive our support for the Paris Climate Accord that promises to dampen our country’s economic growth for years to come. He has called for electric cars without adequate plans to establish charging stations that can sustain the mass use of such vehicles.

If you want to destroy America, stoke the fires of racial hatred in an already divided country.President Biden has legitimized and supported the teaching of critical race theory and white privilege. Instead of unifying our country, he’s fueling a new racism that sees every white citizen as a privileged racist. We need another Martin Luther King Jr., not a Black Lives Matter movement that feeds racial hatred, demands reparations, encourages racial segregation, and fuels racial mistrust. The progress America has made in civil rights is in danger of being reversed while fracturing our country across racial lines.

If you want to destroy America, allow crime on the streets to go unpunished.President Biden and his Democratic colleagues continue to rail about Trump’s supposed January 6th ‘insurrection” even when the FBI has found no evidence supporting such allegations of a planned breach. At the same time, he remains silent about the real “insurrection” on the streets of many of our major cities. Democratic district attorneys are failing to prosecute low level looting, destructive rioting, and even arson. When you do not hold criminals responsible and set them free, crime is rewarded. Even worse, President Biden wants to take guns away from responsible citizens while not protecting citizens from crime on the streets.

If you want to destroy America, keep calling for lockdowns and strict mask guidelines. Under the guise of protecting Americans from COVID-19, President Biden has defended economic lockdowns, unproven mask requirements, and restrictive requirements that have closed many small businesses forever and cost Americans jobs. What’s worse is some Democratic leaders don’t even consistently follow the very requirements they institute. Such hypocrisy undermines respect for leaders and the laws they create.

If you want to destroy America, allow congress to pass reckless deficit spending creating government dependence and rampant Inflation. President Biden is supporting drastic increases in government spending. Inflation rate has already increased to 5%, hitting the citizens who are already struggling to make ends meet. No wonder they are demanding more support from government and limits on evictions. There are jobs available, but the costs for housing, food, and gas for their cars is going up beyond what they can afford with the jobs available. Biden is doing all he can to make socialism appear the only answer possible.

If you want to destroy America, establish the federal control of elections. At a time trust in our elections is at an all-time low, President Biden has fully supported the federal takeover of our elections from the states. Biden’s supported “reforms” literally outlaw states from requiring verification of citizenship. By expanding the times and ways you can vote without increasing necessary controls will just ensure further opportunities for cheating and creating more distrust in our elections.

If you want to destroy America, project military weakness and failed leadership in times of crisis.President Biden’s poorly planned military withdrawal from Afghanistan has resulted in unnecessary deaths of our soldiers, citizens, and Afghan allies. By going it alone, he earned the criticism and condemnation of some of our best allies. By failing to expedite withdrawals before initiating the military departure, many have been left stranded at the mercy of Taliban rule. His failure to get critical military systems and equipment out has equipped potential enemies. The strengthened Taliban rule has once again provided a haven for and emboldened terrorists eager to attack America. The death of 13 American soldiers by two ISIS suicide bombers is but a foretaste of terrorist attacks to come.

In short, those of you who voted for President Biden, this is all on you. Yes, you may not have liked President Trump’s brash attacks and egotistical tweets. But by voting for Joe Biden, you took down a President who projected no-nonsense strength and resolve in making America strong. He unleashed the economy to record levels curtailed only by the pandemic. He was quick to free big pharma to produce vaccines to counter the COVID threat. Instead of begging for oil, he created energy independence. He lowered taxes on all Americans and small businesses. You traded an amazing future for weak leadership, uncertainty, and growing chaos for our country and our world. New elections cannot come soon enough to stop the downward American spiral Biden’s presidency has unleashed.

President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden were at the Dover Air Force Base Sunday morning for the dignified transfer of 11 of the 13 service members who lost their lives on Thursday. While there, the president actually checked his watch. And he wasn't subtle about it, not even close to it.

The bodies arrived last night, but the president did not go to meet them. To be fair, Julio had on good authority that some family members did not want him there.

Again, the president wasn't even subtle about it. The fact that it looks as if this is one of his more cognizant moments--though that's not saying much--doesn't help his case.

Of course, the left is likely going to spin this, just as they did when the president appeared to be asleep during a meeting with Prime Minister Naftali Bennett of Israel, whom Biden was meeting for the first time.

AMERICAN HERO MARINE STUART SCHELLER - Marine Lieutenant Colonel Resigns Commission over Afghanistan, Vows to Bring the Whole Fucking System Down’

The military brass may regret firing Lieutenant Colonel Stuart Scheller

Lieutenant Colonel Stuart Scheller was fired for speaking the truth about the fact that the top brass in the Pentagon never pay for their bad decisions, even as the ordinary men and women get no quarter for their errors. As soon as he’s free, Scheller intends to change that two-tiered system.

In fact, we’ve been watching unfold for some time in America a two-tiered justice system. In the civilian world, one tier, the higher one, is for leftists and the other, the lower one, is for conservatives.

It started in politics. We’ve all noticed that Republicans who err got fired. Meanwhile, leftists who violated the law (e.g., Hillary) never got fired. The only exception was the #MeToo movement, which was obviously targeted at Trump but instead did nothing more than destroy a handful of prominent, but sleazy, leftists. Biden, despite a credible sexual assault charge and a compulsive need to paw and sniff little girls, was untouched.

In 2020 and 2021, that two-tiered approach to the law began to play out for ordinary people. Those BLM and Antifa activists who torched police stations, burned down buildings, destroyed public monuments, assaulted people, etc., walked. Meanwhile, a lot of older conservative folks who protested at the Capitol (as leftists regularly do, including entering the Senate and House floor) have been kept in solitary confinement under terrible circumstances for eight months (with craven Republican politicians too frightened to help them).

It turns out that the military also has this two-tiered justice problem. If you’re not a high-ranking person in the Pentagon, the military is a harsh taskmaster. If you make a mistake, you get busted, whether you lose your rank, get the boot, or even get court-martialed. Meanwhile, the architects of the biggest military disaster in America’s history face no consequences. They haven’t resigned and Biden has made it clear that he doesn’t intend to fire them.

One man, Lieutenant Colonel Stuart Scheller, a Marine with seventeen years in the service at his back, created a calm Facebook video explaining that it’s extremely bad for military discipline if the upper ranks don’t face consequences just as surely as the lower ranks would:

Within one day, Scheller was relieved of duty and, as he made clear, will be leaving the Marines:

Marine Lieutenant Colonel Resigns Commission over Afghanistan, Vows to Bring the Whole F*cking System Down’

Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller on Sunday announced in a video that he was resigning his commission as a lieutenant colonel in the Marine Corps, following being fired as a battalion commander for asking for accountability from his senior leadership on the botched Afghanistan withdrawal.

In his original video, posted Thursday after the deaths of 13 service members, including one he knew personally, he said, “I want to say this very strongly. I have been fighting for 17 years. I am willing to throw it all away to say to my senior leaders I demand accountability.”

He announced in his video on Sunday, after the enormous outpouring of support and debate over his video, that he was resigning his commission as an officer in the Marine Corps — short of the 20 years needed to be eligible for lifelong retirement and medical benefits.

He said:

I want to make the announcement today. After 17 years, I currently not pending legal action and I can stay in the Marine Corps for another three years, but I don’t think that’s the path I’m on. I’m resigning my commission as a United States Marine effective now. I’m sure there’s some more admin on how I’m supposed to do that and I’ll work through that. But I have forfeiting my retirement all entitlements. I don’t want a single dollar. I don’t want any money from the VA.

I don’t want any VA benefits. I’m sure I’m entitled to a hundred percent. I, you know, breathe on the smell and smoke of burning shit for years. I don’t want any of it. All I asked for was accountability of my senior leaders. When there are clear, obvious mistakes that were made, I’m not saying we can take back what has been done. All I asked for was accountability for people to comment on what I said and to say, ‘Yes, some mistakes were made and had they done that. I wouldn’t have gone back into rank and file, submitted and accomplished what I wanted the morning after I posted my video and I came into work, my boss came in and he asked me, ‘What were you trying to accomplish?’

And that was a very tough question for me. And my response was I want senior leaders to accept accountability. I think them accepting accountability would do more for service members and PTSD and struggling with purpose than any other transparent piece of paper or message. And I haven’t received that. For the over $2 million that I would potentially receive in retirement for the rest of my life, for the however much extra the disability would be, I think that money should go back to all the senior general officers, because I think they need it more than I do because when I am done with what I’m about to do, you all are going to need the jobs and the security.

I want to be clear that I love the Marine Corps. I think, you know, there’s been a fascination with special forces over the last 15 years, special forces people that come in in the middle of the night and they killed the biggest targets that the United States has. And I have much respect. I worked in [Marine Special Operations Command] for a year, but what I’ll say is the conventional Marine on the ground who has to smell burning shit. Who, when I was in Ramadi, I was exposed to it so much that burning shit actually smelt like bacon and eggs. And I grew to enjoy the smell. Those people who are there every day, don’t get to leave the next morning or in the middle of the night, who go outside the wire, get blown up, bring their Marine back and then go back out there the next day. They don’t get the credit they deserve and they deserve accountability. ….

You have no idea what I’m capable of doing. To all the congressmen, senators, every media station, across the globe, to all the rich philanthropists, I appreciate the support and I’m going to need your support. … I don’t need a single dollar. I just need every single person that’s willing to go back outside the wire every single day to wear a blue collar and just go into work every single day and feed their families, those are the people that I need. Follow me and we will bring the whole fucking system down. I am honorable. You can ask any Marine who served with me for 17 years. I dare you to ask them all and find out what I’m made of. We’re just getting started.

Biden Refuses to Answer Afghanistan Questions Two Days Before Withdrawal Date

President Joe Biden refused to answer questions about Afghanistan, just two days before the August 31 withdrawal date, during a press conference about Hurricane Ida at FEMA’s National Response Coordination Center on Sunday.

“I’m not supposed to take any questions, but go ahead,” Biden said, calling on senior White House reporter for Bloomberg News Jennifer Jacobs.

When Jacobs asked “if there’s still an acute risk at the Kabul airport,” Biden waved her off, collected his things, and started to walk away.

“I’m not gonna answer on Afghanistan now,” he said, rebuffing her question.

Biden ignored the line of questioning just a few days before American troops are expected to fully withdraw from Afghanistan — and only a few days after suicide bombers killed more than 100 people, including 13 U.S. troops at the Hamid Karzai International Airport.

The president did release a statement on Saturday saying the Kabul airport could face more attacks before August 31.

“The situation on the ground continues to be extremely dangerous, and the threat of terrorist attacks on the airport remains high,” the statement reads. “Our commanders informed me that an attack is highly likely in the next 24-36 hours.”

The White House on Friday also walked back Biden’s promise that the United States government would evacuate any American who wanted to get out of Afghanistan.

More than once, Biden has walked away from reporters asking about Afghanistan. A day after the suicide bombings in Kabul, Biden again declined to answer reporters about the catastrophic withdrawal during his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.

President Joe Biden’s administration has flown roughly 14,000 Afghans into the Dulles International Airport in Dulles, Virginia, over the last 12 days.

According to Gov. Ralph Northam (D-VA), the Biden administration has flown about 14,000 Afghans to Dulles after having evacuated them from Afghanistan in the quest to resettle tens of thousands, and potentially hundreds of thousands, across the U.S.

Some mass migration advocates want 1.2 million Afghans resettled in the U.S.

Dulles has become such a major hub for refugee resettlement that the Biden administration is setting up a mass coronavirus vaccination site at the airport. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, though, is set to also be opened as a second resettlement hub, Northam said.

After arriving in Dulles, Afghans are being resettled in Florida, Texas, Arizona, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Arizona, among other states like New Jersey and New York. Virginia, also, is resettling Afghans.

CNN: Biden’s Agencies Bringing Afghans ‘With No Documents Whatsoever’ to U.S.

Afghans are arriving in the United States despite having “no documents whatsoever” after having been screened and approved by President Joe Biden’s federal agencies, CNN reported.

Sources with knowledge of Biden’s massive refugee resettlement operation out of Afghanistan to the U.S. told CNN that many Afghans are arriving at Dulles International Airport in Virginia without having any paperwork on them.

The goal from the top-down, a source told CNN, is to fast-track as many Afghans out of the screening and vetting process in European and Middle Eastern countries and board them on flights to the U.S. without first requiring documentation or proof of identity.

Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which is facilitating the resettlement operation, refused to disclose how many Afghans have arrived in the U.S. without any documentation.

CNN reported:

The approach from the administration has been “get as many people on the plane as you can, and we’ll sort out the (immigration visa) stuff later,” the source added, pointing to the rush to get people out of Afghanistan after the US-backed government there collapsed. [Emphasis added]

“Some people have landed with no documents whatsoever, creating a very challenging work environment for the officers,” the source added. [Emphasis added]

DHS sources told CNN that even though they are able to identify Afghans without an individual providing them with documents, “it’s just a math game” due to the tens of thousands, and potentially hundreds of thousands, the Biden administration is wanting to resettle in the U.S.

The large-scale resettlement, the source told CNN makes the likelihood of an Afghan with ties to terrorism “higher and higher.”

A former DHS official warned about the federal government’s inability to know whether a foreign national will turn to terrorism after their resettlement in the U.S., telling CNN:

Intelligence and law enforcement officials are always fearful of missing something in their vetting and that a terrorist could slip through. “The challenging aspect is you can’t predict the future. You can’t tell when someone can go bad,” the former official said. In rare cases, refugees allowed to resettle in the US have been later discovered to have ties to terror groups and charged with lying to immigration authorities. [Emphasis added]

Last week, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said he did not know the number of Afghans who have sought resettlement in the U.S. but subsequently were found to have been on terrorist watch lists.

Pentagon officials last week, though, told Defense One that “up to 100 of the 7,000 Afghans evacuated as prospective recipients” of Special Immigrant Visas (SIVs) seeking permanent resettlement in the U.S. have been “flagged” as “potential matches to intelligence agency watch lists.”

“There’s certainly been a number of them,” an official said of the Afghans flagged as possible matches for individuals listed on terrorist watch lists.

At least one of those Afghans seeking an SIV to enter the U.S. has been detained in Qatar after officials said his background revealed possible ties to the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist organization.

NBC News revealed last week that in at least five cases at the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, Afghans have attempted to board U.S.-bound flights using fraudulent American passports that do not belong to them.

“The U.S. mission team reported at least five cases of Afghans who presented U.S. passports that didn’t belong to them … highlighting fraud concerns and complicating the process of screening people to enter the airport,” the NBC News report stated.

Though Biden has touted that Afghans are being screened at U.S. Military bases abroad, he has ignored that they are also being flown to the U.S. before having completed their visa processing. Specifically, Afghans are being sent to Fort Bliss in Texas, Fort Lee in Virginia, Fort McCoy in Wisconsin, and Fort Dix in New Jersey to continue their processing.

Over the last 20 years, nearly a million refugees have been resettled in the nation — more than double that of residents living in Miami, Florida, and it would be the equivalent of annually adding the population of Pensacola, Florida.

Refugee resettlement costs American taxpayers nearly $9 billion every five years, according to research, and each refugee costs taxpayers about $133,000 over the course of their lifetime. Within five years, an estimated 16 percent of all refugees admitted will need housing assistance paid for by taxpayers.

Progressives Want 1.2 Million Afghan Immigrants

Immigration advocates are urging the government to import 1.2 million Afghan immigrants into the United States, even as President Joe Biden’s deputies are rushing to pack roughly 100,000 Afghans into the pipeline by August 31.

The New York Times reported August 25:

At least 250,000 Afghans who may be eligible for expedited American visas remain in Afghanistan, far too many for American forces to rescue before their deadline to leave next week, new estimates suggest.

These estimates are based on reports on Afghan employment published annually by the Department of Defense and analyzed by the Association of Wartime Allies, a group that advocates for Afghans affiliated with the U.S., and researchers at American University. Other estimates vary widely, from 100,000 to more than 300,000 people.

The group estimated that the number could be far higher, depending on the assumptions used: More than a million Afghans who remain in the country, it found, could be eligible for expedited immigration status.

On its website, the Association of Wartime Allies group suggests a goal of roughly 1.2 million:

The group is run by Kim Staffieri and Matt Zeller, who is affiliated with the liberal-run Truman National Security Project, which works with progressive groups that want to further expand migration.

The group’s current goal of 1.2 million is equal to one Afghan refugee for every three U.S. children born in 2020 — or 20 times the number recently suggested by President Joe Biden.

“The estimate we’re giving is somewhere between 50,000 and 65,000 folks total, counting their families,” Biden told ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos on August 19.

On August 26, Biden showed little enthusiasm for importing additional Afghans, telling a White House press conference:

Millions of Afghani citizens who are not Taliban, who did not actively cooperate with us …  if given a chance, they’d be on board a plane tomorrow. It sounds ridiculous, but the vast majority of people in communities like that want to come to America if given a choice. So, getting every single person out can’t be guaranteed for anybody because there is a [official] determination of all who want to get out … It’s a process.

The progressive push for more Afghan migrants is happening even as Biden’s Department of Homeland Security continues to extract migrants across the Mexican border for use in the U.S. economy as consumers, workers, and renters. The border inflow will likely exceed 800,000 in 2021, including illegals who sneak across the border, and perhaps 500,000 job-seeking migrants.

This southern inflow is in addition to the inflow of legal immigrants — about 730,000 — and also the inflow of visa workers, such as H-1B foreign graduates.

The total 2021 inflow of migrants is on track to deliver almost 1.6 million people into Americans’ society, or roughly one migrant for every two American births in 2020.

The government’s economic policy of extraction migration inflates the nation’s labor supply and boosts consumer spending, so aiding companies and investors. The migration is deeply unpopular because it damages ordinary Americans’ career opportunities, cuts their wages, raises their rents, curbs their productivity, shrinks their political clout, widens regional wealth gaps, and wrecks their democratic, equality-promoting civic culture.

Yet many progressives insist on importing more migrants, even after the U.S. quits Afghanistan on August 31. “We should bring as many as possible here,” said New York Times op-ed writer Michelle Goldberg on August 16:

Canada, which is about one-ninth the size of the United States, has announced its intention to take more than 20,000 fleeing Afghans. There is no way to justify America accepting fewer on a per capita basis; 180,000 should be the absolute floor.

This is likely to be unpopular; polls showed a majority of Americans opposed the comparatively tiny Syrian refugee resettlement program. But there is no moral argument against vastly expanded refugee admissions.

The mass migration would be unpopular. For example, 52 percent of Americans oppose the resettlement of more than 50,000 Afghans in the United States, according to a survey by Rasmussen Reports. Only 26 percent favor an inflow of more than 50,000, according to the August 18-19 survey of 1,000 likely voters.

For many years, a wide variety of pollsters have shown deep and broad opposition to labor migration and the inflow of temporary contract workers into jobs sought by young U.S. graduates. This public opposition is multiracialcross-sexnon-racistclass-basedbipartisan,  rationalpersistent, and recognizes the solidarity Americans owe to each other.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.) on Wednesday shared a tweet that advertised a fundraiser for an organization with ties to Hamas and the Taliban.

Tlaib, who has a long history of anti-Semitic rhetoric, retweeted a post from critical race theorist Khaled Beydoun that urged donations to Baitulmaal, a Texas-based nonprofit. Experts say Baitulmaal helps fundraise for Hamas and distributes aid to the "families of martyrs of the Palestinian people." And the group's leader, Mazen Mokhtar, has been accused of working with the Taliban and other terrorist groups.

The retweet isn't the first time Tlaib expressed support for terrorists. Days after she became a congresswoman, the controversial Democrat hosted Abbas Hamideh, a pro-Hezbollah activist who has repeatedly compared Israelis to Nazis. She shared a post last year that included an anti-Semitic phrase frequently used by Palestinian terrorist groups that seek to destroy Israel. She subsequently unshared the post.

Baitulmaal works closely with Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip, according to a 2020 analysis by the Middle East Forum. The group, which received $10,000 in emergency coronavirus funding last year, frequently partners with Unlimited Friends Association for Social Development, a Palestinian group that describes itself as a "a social, developmental, educational NGO."

The Unlimited Friends Association works with Baitulmaal to hand out cash to the families of Palestinian terrorists, according to the Middle East Forum. These donations complement the Palestinian Authority's formal "Pay to Slay" program, which has funneled hundreds of millions of dollars to Palestinian terrorists. The Palestinian government this year paid $42,000 to the family of a Palestinian terrorist who stabbed two Israelis to death and wounded two more, including a two-year-old child.

The association, which lists Baitulmaal on its website's partners and donors page, is openly hostile towards Israel. The group's Facebook page contains references to "the filth of the most dirty Jews" and "Nazi Zionist jails." The association also partners with Islamic Relief, a group with which the State Department cut ties this year because of "anti-Semitism exhibited repeatedly" by its leaders.

In 2004, federal agents in Connecticut investigated Mokhtar for running a website that "solicited funds for the Taliban and Chechen mujahideen." Mokhtar was not convicted. Three years later, he was arrested on a multi-count indictment for filing false tax returns. The lead prosecutor was former New Jersey governor Chris Christie (R.).

Baitulmaal also partners with West Bank-based Hamas organizations. The organization hosted a 2008 fundraiser for the Yazour Medical Clinic in Nablus, an offshoot of Hamas. One Palestinian newspaper reports that Baitulmaal and the Hamas offshoot have been working together "for years."

Anti-Semitic activist Linda Sarsour last year hosted a fundraiser for Baitulmaal that raised tens of thousands of dollars.

Tlaib and Baitulmaal did not respond to requests for comment.

 Report: Biden Plans to

Bring  50K Afghans to U.S. Without Visas

President Joe Biden’s administration is planning to bring about 50,000 Afghans to the United States who do not have visas and who have not completed their immigration processing.

According to three officials who spoke to Bloomberg News, Biden will use the little-known “humanitarian parole” tool to bring roughly 50,000 Afghans to the U.S. The plan is a last-minute effort to bring as many Afghans to the U.S. as possible, as this group does not have Special Immigrant Visas (SIVs), P-2 visas, or refugee status.

Instead, Afghans on humanitarian parole will arrive in the U.S. without having first secured visas and completing their immigration processing. After having humanitarian parole for a year or so, the thousands of Afghans would be able to adjust their status. Many are likely to take advantage of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) to remain in the U.S.

It is unclear how many Afghans the Biden administration has already paroled into the U.S.

The massive expansion of the Biden administration’s operation that is fast-tracking Afghans into the U.S. interior comes after a group of Senate Democrats as well as Sens. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) begged Biden to resettle more Afghans.

“We strongly urge you to create a humanitarian parole category specifically for women leaders, activists, human rights defenders, judges, parliamentarians, journalists, and members of the Female Tactical Platoon of the Afghan Special Security Forces,” the Senators wrote.

Before evacuating all American citizens from Afghanistan, the Biden administration is increasing the inflow of Afghans to the U.S. for permanent resettlement. A Pentagon spokesman this week said 25,000 Afghans applying for SIVs are likely to be resettled in the U.S. along with thousands more of their family members.

The week before, the Pentagon said the total was 22,000 SIV applicants.

India: Another Hindu Woman Converted to Islam, Sold Off, Slaughtered by Muslim Husband

An everyday occurrence in India.

Muslim men initiating romantic associations with Hindu women, marrying them, converting them to Islam, putting them through endless agonies and finally killing them has become an everyday occurrence in India. The horror of these stories remains constant; what changes is the intensity of violence these women are made to endure during their partnership with these men.

Yet another shocking case of this has been reported from Kota in the western state of Rajasthan, India; a 26-year-old mother of three, Rizwana, was attacked and killed by her husband Imran in the middle of the street in broad daylight, because she had been staying away from him and seeking a divorce.

The deceased was originally a Hindu girl named Antima. She was a 15-year-old minor when she met and fell in love with welding worker Imran, and did a “love marriage” with him. Shortly after the marriage, she converted to Islam and adopted the name Rizwana. This marriage was never a smooth and loving one. But Antima, the ninth of ten siblings, held on to the marriage, hoping for things would improve gradually. The couple also had three children, but the arrival of their children didn’t change things for the better, either. In fact, as children were added to his family, Imran picked up the habit of whipping the children as well.

Imran, as reported by Antima’s sister Anita, was a drunkard who would physically assault his wife regularly, in fits of rage. Anita further notes that Imran would often burn Antima with cigarettes.

The sister of the deceased also told the media that Imran had once taken Antima to the popular Indian tourist destination Goa, and sold her off to the skin trade. With a great deal of effort, Antima somehow rescued herself. She then, however, made a disastrous decision: she chose to stay with Imran and give him another chance.

Her living conditions kept deteriorating, and the beating and battering only grew more frequent. Antima finally decided to walk away from this toxic marriage, and moved in with her elder sister. But Imran would call her and threaten her with dire consequences; her mother-in-law (Imran’s mother) would also harass her every day, according to Anita.

“A couple of months ago, Imran had ferociously attacked her with a cricket bat. The wounds Antima received from that beating were so critical that she had to be given 17 stitches,” adds Anita.

Antima stayed away from Imran for two years, but Imran continued to threaten her, and one day forcefully took her to his dwelling. This time he was more ferocious in his tortures of the hapless woman.

For the previous two months, Antima had been staying with her elder sister. On Wednesday, August 18, Antima was on her way to perform her regular chores when Imran ambushed her and repeatedly struck her with a sharp knife; he then fled the scene. Antima’s niece, who was accompanying Antima on her way, also sustained knife injuries in the mayhem. Locals rushed Antima to a local hospital. She was bleeding profusely from the multiple injuries she had received; her throat was slit as well. Doctors at the local hospital referred her to the New Medical College. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead on arrival at the medical college. Antima met the same fate as hundreds of thousands of Hindu girls who are trapped in Love Jihad in India. The three children she has left behind are now orphaned.

This is the second known case of Hindu women being killed by Muslim partners in India this week. The first one was Diksha Mishra, who was killed by her lover, also named Imran, although he was pretending to be a Hindu, Rishabh Tiwari.

Taliban’s Regulations For Women

It will send chills down your spine.

Conventional media have put all their resources into whitewashing the brutalities of the Taliban and giving them an image makeover, so as to make them acceptable to the modern world and perhaps win these mountain savages a seat at the United Nations. They tell us that Taliban 2.0 is a whole different entity and is not comparable to the Taliban that had wreaked havoc in Afghanistan from 1996 to 2001. After all, the Muslim group has promised to honor women rights and allow them to continue to work as usual. Little girls could receive education as well.

We are a little confused by the Taliban’s commitment to permitting girls to go to school, because quite recently, Taliban jihadis were going door-to-door hunting down girls as young as twelve years old, to take them as sex slaves. We have learned of a woman being lashed for wearing revealing slippers and another burka-clad woman being shot dead for not covering her face enough. And these atrocities have happened under the rule of the moderate, women’s-rights-acknowledging Taliban 2.0.

Leaders of the Muslim outfit have clarified their views on women’s rights in the country: “The rights of women will be under the Sharia law,” affirmed Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid, during their first press conference since conquering Kabul.

And what are the rights granted to women by this esteemed Islamic law? Let’s look at the “rights” Afghan women enjoyed during Taliban 1.0 from 1996 to 2001; or shall we call them impositions?

Women were not allowed to walk out of their homes without a burqa covering every inch of their skin, including their feet, hands and face. Most women during that period opted for the shuttlecock burqa that covered them from head to toe; there was a little gap for the eyes, but with a net or mesh covering the gap so that their eyes couldn’t be seen. It was mandatory for every woman to be accompanied by a male family member – a blood relative – while she was out on the street.

No man should be able to hear the footsteps of a woman, hence, high heels or any kind of footwear that produced a sound while walking were banned from use by women.

A woman’s voice must not reach the ears of a man who is not related to her. Hence she must watch the level of sound she was producing while talking. Would it be “Islamophobia” if we said that the Taliban had perfected the textbook version of silencing a woman?

Again, as women were prohibited from being viewed by men who were not related to her by blood, it was mandatory that the windows of all ground floors be painted in a dark tint, covered, or shut at all times, just in case a woman passed by and became visible to a man in the ground floor.

Also, women were barred from standing at the balconies of their houses, as that could allow men on the streets or male neighbors to catch a glimpse of them.

The word “woman” was removed from all public places or names of public places.

Women were precluded from having their pictures taken or being filmed. No images of women could be printed on the pages of books or newspapers, or kept at stores or in homes.

It goes without saying that women were not allowed to be in movies or on television, or to work at radio stations. They were forbidden from forming groups outdoors or holding public gatherings.

Women have never been allowed to work in offices under the Taliban. They cannot work as journalists, bankers, teachers, nurses, doctors or hold administrative positions, as these jobs would land them amidst male colleagues who are not related to them. Office jobs held by women were subsequently passed on to their male family members.

Little girls were banned from going to school. Numerous schools imparting education to girls have been bombed or burned down by the Taliban, not only in Afghanistan, but in several countries where they have gained the slightest foothold.

No woman under the Taliban rule in Afghanistan ever enjoyed the basic human right of speaking her mind or dressing as she liked. Women who flouted any of the above commandments were subjected to harsh, undreamed-of and ruthless punishments by the religious police. They could be stoned to death, mutilated, or given hundreds of lashes with a meter-long metal lash. Many of these women perished in the midst of receiving their penalty.

Afghanistan in 1996 witnessed a young woman’s finger being chopped off by the Taliban; she had dared to paint her nails. A woman named Bibi Aisha was forced into a nightmarish marriage as a trade-off to settle a family dispute. When she tried to escape the violent and abusive marriage, the Taliban, to shame her for her act of disobedience and to set a warning example for the other young women in the community, severed her nose and ears.

One must be an absolute ignoramus living in denial to even begin to trust that the Taliban will leave the Afghan women alone this time.

WATCH: Canadian Imam Urges Support for Taliban, Calls Jews, Christians ‘Our Enemies’

Canadian Imam Younus Kathrada in a recent sermon attacked Jews and Christians as “our enemies,” accusing them of funding a failed war against Islam while calling on fellow Canadians to support the Taliban and its efforts to impose Islamic sharia law — which includes death by stoning for adultery and homosexuality — in Afghanistan.

In his speech, which was delivered at the Muslim Youth of Victoria Islamic Center on Friday, the Islamic scholar accused Jews and Christians of attempting to spend “mountains of gold in order to take us away from Islam,” though such attempts will ultimately fail.

“So they will spend it but don’t fear, at the end of the day they are not going to win,” he said. “Allah tells us that they will spend it, and that it will be for them a source of regret.”

Kathrada then claims that the recent U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan was a sign of the supposed prophesied failure of such attempts.

“Twenty years in Afghanistan, I don’t need to say any more,” he said.

“‘A source of regret, then they will be overcome.’ Does this sound familiar to you? Have you been listening to the news?” he asked before calling on his audience to praise Allah and demonstrate support for the recent Taliban victory.

“I incite (sic) you to show support for your brothers in Afghanistan, who want to establish the sharia in their land,” he said.

“Allah, grant victory to the mujahideen [fighting] for your sake everywhere,” he added. “Allah grant success to our brothers in Afghanistan so that they establish your shari’a on this land.”

He also accused Jews and Christians of hiding their true nature and attacking that which is most sacred to Muslims.

“They will attack what is most sacred to us but all of that [which] they do is only a small portion of what is really in their hearts, of the hatred that they have towards us in their hearts,” he said.

“Do not think that the Jews and Christians are our friends – they are our enemies,” he asserted.

The Canadian imam then attacked “the West” for its stance on women’s rights.

“We see that the West wants to talk about the rights of women … Ah, yes, her right to be a prostitute,” he said. “Her right to sleep around with whomever she wishes.”

“I want you to understand what those rights are, by the way. Her rights to be abused. Her right to show her body off to men, who get off on watching her in porn and other than that,” he added.

In response, the Canadian Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) expressed deep concern over the hateful rhetoric.

“We are very concerned that Canadian Imam Younus Kathrada continues his long history of spewing hatred against #Christians, #Jews, and #women,” the group wrote.

“This is #onlinehate and it needs to be addressed by law enforcement,” it added.

This is not Kathrada’s first time expressing radical and hateful rhetoric.

In October, he vilified French schoolteacher Samuel Paty who was murdered by a Muslim youth for showing Charlie Hebdo cartoons depicting the Islamic prophet Mohammed to his class.

After referring to Paty as “cursed,” “evil-spirited,” and a “filthy excuse for a human-being,” Kathrada implored Allah to annihilate those who slander Mohammed.

On September 11 of last year, Kathrada stated that disrespect of Mohammed is worse than police killings of black citizens in the U.S.

In 2018, Kathrada said Muslims should be offended by those who worship Jesus and that wishing non-Muslims a “Merry Christmas” is a far graver sin than murder, adultery, lying, and any other major sins.

The Taliban is infamous for its harsh treatment of those under its control.

On Thursday, senior Taliban leader Waheedullah Hashimi said the group would not implement democracy in Afghanistan because Afghan culture and Islamic sharia law do not support such a political system.

“There will be no democratic system at all because it does not have any base in our country. We will not discuss what type of political system we should apply in Afghanistan because it is clear. It is sharia law and that is it,” Hashimi told Reuters.

The Taliban’s rise has been a growing concern for various groups, including ethnic and religious minorities, within Afghanistan.

According to human rights group Amnesty International, the Taliban recently “massacred” and brutally tortured members of Afghanistan’s Hazara minority.

Amnesty’s Secretary-General Agnès Callamard said, “The cold-blooded brutality of these killings is a reminder of the Taliban’s past record, and a horrifying indicator of what Taliban rule may bring.”

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid told reporters in a press conference Tuesday that the terrorist organization is urging all women in Afghanistan to stay home for their safety as the group has not yet taught its own terrorists “how to deal with women.”

This month, the Taliban went “door-to-door” in some regions of Afghanistan to select girls as young as twelve to become “sex slaves” for the group’s jihadi fighters, News Corp Australia’s News.com.au reported.

Last Monday, a 33-year-old woman who claimed to have been brutalized by the Taliban after she was shot by the insurgents and her eyes gouged out in Afghanistan’s Ghazni province in 2020, said that to them “women are not living, breathing human beings, but merely some meat and flesh to be battered.”

Christians, too, are also reportedly in danger.

The Barnabas Fund, which monitors Christian persecution around the world, warned Tuesday that Christians remaining in Afghanistan “are very likely to be killed” if caught by the Taliban, which applies sharia law literally.

How the 9/11 Terrorists Got Here

The commercial aircraft that al-Qaeda terrorists flew into the twin towers, the Pentagon, and a field in Pennsylvania on Sept. 11, 2001 — killing 2,977 people — did not take off from some foreign land before flying toward targets here in the United States.

They were all domestic flights that took off from American cities and were headed toward American cities.

American Airlines Flight 11, which struck the north tower of the World Trade Center, took off from Boston and was heading to Los Angeles.

United Airlines Flight 175, which struck the south tower of the World Trade Center, also took off from Boston and was heading to Los Angeles.

American Airlines Flight 77, which struck the Pentagon, took off from Northern Virginia and was heading to Los Angeles.

United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed in Pennsylvania, took off from Newark and was heading to San Francisco.

Almost three years after the 2001 attacks, the staff of the national commission that Congress created by statute to investigate the event published a report on "9/11 and Terrorist Travel."

This report began by making a fundamental point: "It is perhaps obvious to state that terrorists cannot plan and carry out attacks in the United States if they are unable to enter the country."

We let the hijackers in. But did they come here legally? Did they follow our visa and immigration laws? Not according to this 9/11 Commission staff report.

"The story begins with 'A Factual Overview of the September 11 Border Story,'" says the preface to the report. "In it, we endeavor to dispel the myth that their entry into the United States was 'clean and legal.' It was not."

"Three hijackers carried passports with indicators of Islamic extremism linked to al-Qaeda; two others carried passports manipulated in a fraudulent manner," the report explained. "It is likely that several more hijackers carried passports with similar fraudulent manipulation. Two hijackers lied on their visa applications. Once in the United States, two hijackers violated the terms of their visas. One overstayed his visa. And all but one obtained some form of state identification. We know that six of the hijackers used these state-issued identifications to check in for their flights on September 11. Three of them were fraudulently obtained."

More than two dozen al-Qaeda terrorists whom the commission associated with the 9/11 conspiracy tried to enter the United States. Most of them succeeded.

"Twenty-six al-Qaeda terrorist conspirators — eighteen Saudis, two Emiratis, one Egyptian, one Lebanese, one Moroccan, one Pakistani, and two Yemenis — sought to enter the United States and carry out a suicide mission," said the commission's staff report. "The first of them began to acquire the means to enter two years and five months before the 9/11 attack."

"The 19 hijackers applied for 23 visas and obtained 22," said the report. "Five other conspirators were denied U.S. visas. Two more obtained visas but did not participate in the attack for various reasons."

One thing these terrorists tended to have in common when they applied for visas to enter the United States was a newly minted passport.

"Most of the hijackers applied with new passports, possibly to hide travel to Afghanistan recorded in their old ones," said the report.

The terrorists who actually piloted the hijacked planes had another thing in common. This was a remarkable ability to enter, leave, and re-enter the United States.

"The four pilots passed through immigration and customs inspections a total of 17 times from May 29, 2000 to August 5, 2001," said the report.

Ziad Jarrah, who flew United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed in Pennsylvania, "was the most frequent border crosser, entering the United States seven times."

Had they only let this terrorist into the United States six times, he would not have been on that flight.

Mohamed Atta, who flew American Airlines Flight 11 into the north tower, and Marwan al Shehhi, who flew United Airlines Flight 175 into the south tower, "came in three times each, entering for the last time on May 2 and July 19, 2001, respectively."

Had they only let these terrorists in twice, they would not have flown into the twin towers.

Hani Hanjour, who flew American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon, had made repeated journeys to the United States in the 1990s before coming back as a student — who never went to school — in 2000.

"Hani Hanjour was the only hijacker to enter on an academic visa, arriving on December 8, 2000," said the report. "He had already attended both English and flight training schools in the United States during three stays in the 1990s. Hanjour was also the only pilot who already had a commercial pilot's license prior to entry, having acquired it in 1999 in Arizona."

"Hanjour did not attend school after entering on a student visa in December 2000, thereby violating his immigration status and making him deportable under 8 U.S.C. 1227(a)(1)(B)," said the report.

He, of course, was not deported.

This staff report concluded that "all of the hijackers violated some aspect of U.S. immigration law."

The good news is that our government has succeeded for nearly two decades in preventing another terrorist attack like 9/11. The question now: Will it continue to do so?

How Biden Gave Islamic Terrorists Their Biggest Win Since ISIS and 9/11

Description: Afghanistan fell and America suffered its most humiliating defeat since Vietnam because Biden and his military brass pushed identity politics instead of victory. The disaster began when Obama and Biden pushed a massive surge that cost the lives of over 1,000 American soldiers even as they were prevented from fighting back. Their mission to win the hearts and minds of the Taliban ended in disgrace and betrayal. Now, Biden has handed over control over our withdrawal to the Taliban.

Biden’s Gift to Global Jihadists: A Safe National Homeland

All while selling out Americans stranded in Afghanistan.

President Joe Biden continues to humiliate the United States by letting the Taliban terrorists dictate the terms of his surrender.

Indeed, the president just capitulated to the terrorists’ threat to adhere to his own self-imposed deadline of August 31st  for the withdrawal of all U.S. troops from Afghanistan. The evacuation of U.S. troops from the Kabul airport has already begun.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid warned during a press conference in Kabul that:

August 31 is the time given and after that it's something that is against the agreement. All people should be removed prior to that date. After that we do not allow them, it will not be allowed in our country, we will take a different stance.

And Biden dutifully followed the orders.

The president is so infused with the radical agenda of his left-wing base that he began his August 24th address to the American people on the latest developments in Afghanistan with praise for the House of Representatives’ passage of the Democrats’ budget framework for their socialist $3 trillion budget bill. He went out of his way to thank Speaker Nancy Pelosi for pushing this "progressive" leftist program through the House. Then he put in a word of support for the Democrats’ partisan voting bills to federalize elections. He spent more than five minutes of his twelve minute address on left-wing domestic policies that had nothing to do with the Afghanistan crisis on most Americans' minds.

When Biden finally got around to discussing that crisis, he stated that his administration was on pace for an August 31st withdrawal. He added, however, that meeting this deadline depends on continued cooperation from the Taliban in allowing access to the Kabul airport.

The U.S. would judge the Taliban by their actions, Biden added. But his own actions can only be judged as an appeasement of the Taliban.

The president left himself a little wiggle room to adjust the timeline should that become necessary. He referred vaguely to the development of contingency plans just in case they are needed. But that is ultimately meaningless talk because the U.S. administration is operating from a position of weakness.

Biden failed as Commander-in-Chief to plan for a safe and orderly evacuation for as long as it takes, backed by a credible threat of overwhelming force against the Taliban, al Qaeda, and ISIS if they try to interfere with the evacuations.

Instead, Biden has allowed the Taliban to call the shots even when it comes to completing the evacuation of American citizens. As for those Afghans seeking to escape the Taliban’s wrath for working with the United States, they are out of luck. The Taliban are no longer letting them leave the country.

Biden has acknowledged that ISIS fighters are present in Afghanistan and that they represent a threat to the U.S. soldiers and citizens still in the country. In fact, one of the reasons cited for the U.S. military to quickly pack up and leave by August 31st is the added risk to our troops from ISIS attacks if the troops remain in the country.

But the president is clearly willfully blind to ISIS in Afghanistan being a long-term threat to the American homeland. He has assured Americans that ISIS and the Taliban are sworn enemies, implying that the Taliban will clamp down on ISIS severely enough to prevent them from getting out of hand and from using Afghanistan as a base from which to hatch attacks on Americans everywhere.

The assumption here is flawed.

The Taliban not only released al Qaeda prisoners as they took over Afghanistan; they released imprisoned ISIS terrorists as well. Yes, the Taliban may see ISIS jihadists as rivals for power in Afghanistan, but the Taliban, ISIS, and al Qaeda share a common enemy that transcends their internal squabbles: the infidels of the West, especially the United States. The three radical Islamist groups share the same jihadist ideology, which envisions the triumph through conquest of global Islam rule under strict Sharia law.

Biden has shown zero concern for any al Qaeda threat emerging from Afghanistan. In fact, according to him, the terror group is “gone” from Afghanistan, as he falsely claimed during his remarks to the press on August 20th.  “We went to Afghanistan for the express purpose of getting rid of al Qaeda in Afghanistan, as well as — as well as getting Osama bin Laden. And we did,” Biden asserted.

Biden’s claim is in sync with the Taliban’s own false claim that al Qaeda members “are not present in Afghanistan in the first place.”

Interestingly enough, however, even Biden’s Secretary of State Antony Blinken contradicted the president’s contention that al Qaeda is “gone” from Afghanistan. During a Fox News Sunday interview on August 22nd, Blinken admitted that there are still “al Qaeda members and remnants” in Afghanistan.

The Pentagon's spokesperson also acknowledged on August 24th that al Qaeda remains a threat in Afghanistan.

True, U.S. special forces did get Osama bin Laden, against the advice of then-Vice President Biden -- who did not think the mission should have gone forward. But al Qaeda did not disappear from Afghanistan during the last 20 years. Far from it.

An official monitoring team analysis submitted to the United Nations Security Council last spring reported some chilling findings. The analysis revealed that despite the attrition of al Qaeda forces, including the killing of some senior figures, a “significant part of the leadership of Al-Qaida resides in the Afghanistan and Pakistan border region, alongside Al-Qaida in the Indian Subcontinent.”

Moreover, according to the UN report, “Large numbers of Al-Qaida fighters and other foreign extremist elements aligned with the Taliban are located in various parts of Afghanistan.”

The UN report noted that “the primary component of the Taliban in dealing with Al-Qaida is the Haqqani Network. Ties between the two groups remain close, based on ideological alignment, relationships forged through common struggle and intermarriage.”

Along their road to victory, the Taliban released al Qaeda prisoners who have been joining the Taliban’s ranks. According to Thomas Joscelyn, Senior Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, several U.S. officials whom he spoke with think that “at least hundreds of al-Qaeda’s men were released during the Taliban’s jailbreaks this year.”

With the Taliban now in charge, more members of al Qaeda from near and far, along with would-be jihadist recruits, will be converging on Afghanistan. The Taliban’s promise that they will not give al Qaeda refuge in Afghanistan is a total lie. We are now facing the re-establishment of a national sanctuary for Islamic terrorists from all over the world.

Biden has argued that Afghanistan is no longer of significant strategic interest to the United States in the war against terror. The “threat from terrorism has metastasized,” Biden said. “There’s a greater danger from ISIS and — and al Qaeda and all these affiliates in other countries, by far, than there is from Afghanistan.”

Unfortunately, realities on the ground suggest otherwise. The Biden administration's catastrophic retreat from Afghanistan has given new life to global jihadists. They are boasting that their "long war" strategy is working against the infidels. And, to be sure, al Qaeda and other jihadist groups now have a safe haven to congregate, train, raise money, and hatch plots that can be executed from Afghanistan or from the other countries to which terrorism has “metastasized.”

Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, based largely in Yemen, has proclaimed the “beginning of a pivotal transformation” worldwide, according to the New Yorker article, "Afghanistan, Again, Becomes a Cradle for Jihadism—and Al Qaeda."

The Taliban have learned in the last 20 years how to manipulate the western media and to show a more “moderate” and “tolerant” public face to the so-called “international community.” Taliban leaders will say anything to drum up support for international recognition of the Taliban as the “legitimate” rulers of Afghanistan. It’s all about luring foreign aid into the country, which the Taliban will control. By negotiating with the Taliban, the Biden administration has conferred legitimacy on this terrorist group and their takeover of Afghanistan by force.

The Taliban’s new packaging is a complete sham. The Taliban remain the same bunch of murderous, misogynist thugs they always were. Their atrocities continue. They have been beating and harassing people trying desperately to enter the Kabul airport so that they can be flown out of Afghanistan.

Taliban fighters beat a woman to death who said she could not cook for them. Another woman was reportedly shot to death for not wearing a burqa. Girls were stopped and lashed last week for wearing “revealing sandals."

Women and girls have been told to leave work or schools and not come back.

Some girls have been forced into marriage or taken away as sex slaves for Taliban fighters.

Afghans who helped coalition forces or worked for the government overthrown by the Taliban have been hunted down in door-to-door searches. Captured Afghan policemen have been shot to death.

Biden has embarrassed the United States by handing these thugs the leverage to impose their will on the greatest nation on earth. Then again, Biden and his progressive left-wing allies do not believe in American exceptionalism. They would rather criticize America for its alleged “faults” than defend Americans’ freedoms against the true forces of evil.

Because of Biden’s surrender, terrorists taking American civilians as hostages may very well -- and tragically -- become our next calamity.

Report: Biden Plans to Bring 50K Afghans to U.S. Without Visas

A volunteer helps Afghan refugees to board a bus after arriving on a flight at Dulles International Airport in Chantilly, Virginia on August 23, 2021. - Around 16,000 people were evacuated over the past 24 hours from Afghanistan through the Kabul airport, the Pentagon said on August 23, 2021, as …

Osama bin Laden’s prophetic statements about Joe Biden

In 2010, Osama bin Laden, despite living in hiding, was still the brains behind al Qaeda. And, while he may have been completely evil (anyone who revels in killing civilians to advance his goals is evil), he was no dummy. He was, instead, an acute observer of Western culture—especially American culture. That’s why it shouldn’t be surprising that, a year before he was killed, he was writing letters to his followers planning future murder attacks. Nor should it be surprising that he characterized Joe Biden as a moron.

In 2011, despite Biden’s protests against doing so, Barack Obama finally ordered a mission to kill Osama bin Ladin. Not only did the SEALS successfully carry out that mission, but they also recovered a treasure trove of documents from bin Laden’s safe house in Pakistan.

One of those documents, which was made public in 2012 but was forgotten until today, saw bin Laden explaining to a subordinate why, while both Obama and General Petraeus were jihad targets, it would be a mistake to kill Biden. According to bin Laden, Biden was such an idiot that his stepping into Obama’s shoes as President would be fully as damaging to America as any terrorist attack:

Giving his reasoning for attacking Obama, he says: ‘Obama is the head of infidelity and killing him automatically will make Biden take over the presidency for the remainder of the term, as it is the norm over there.

‘Biden is totally unprepared for that post, which will lead the US into a crisis.’

Those words appear very prophetic in light of Biden’s seven months in the White House. During that time, his physical capabilities seem to have diminished before our eyes. He’s gone from being vaguely loopy to appearing like a drugged-up automaton. As Biden demonstrated during his interview with George Stephanopoulos, he frequently becomes completely incoherent:

STEPHANOPOULOS: I-- I think a lot of-- a lot of Americans, and a l-- even a lot of veterans who served in Afghanistan agree with you on the big, strategic picture. They believe we had to get out. But I wonder how you respond to an Army Special Forces officer, Javier McKay (PH). He did seven tours. He was shot twice. He agrees with you. He says, "We have to cut our losses in Afghanistan." But he adds, "I just wish we could’ve left with honor."

BIDEN: Look, that’s like askin’ my deceased son Beau, who spent six months in Kosovo and a year in Iraq as a Navy captain and then major-- I mean, as an Army major. And, you know, I’m sure h-- he had regrets comin’ out of Afganista-- I mean, out of Iraq.

He had regrets to what’s-- how-- how it’s going. But the idea-- what’s the alternative? The alternative is why are we staying in Afghanistan? Why are we there? Don’t you think that the one-- you know who’s most disappointed in us getting out? Russia and China. They’d love us to continue to have to--

It’s not just Biden’s verbal nonsense, though. Either on his own initiative or acting as a puppet for the unknown persons pulling his strings, Biden managed in seven months to tank the economy, destroy America’s energy independence, wipe out our immigration laws, dramatically increase racial tension in the country, put America on a totalitarian track with masks and vaccines, and sign off on dramatically increasing our nation’s already overwhelming debt.

Of course, the pièce de résistance was his handling of the withdrawal from Afghanistan. First, he managed to do it bass-ackwards, pulling out the military before extracting civilians, allies, and weapons. He also forgot to tell our European allies.

Thus, while leftists insisted that Trump was the outlier whom everyone hated, it was Biden who managed to get himself held in contempt by England’s Parliament, a first for an American president. Biden has also been lying steadily to the public, so much so that members of his own administration, anxious to escape his now toxic miasma, are refusing to go along with it.

As I said, bin Laden may have been evil but he was also smart. He had the measure of Biden and fully understand that a living Biden was much more dangerous to America than a martyr to a jihadist assassination.

Exclusive – Christian Aid Group: Taliban’s Afghanistan ‘Rivals North Korea’ as World’s Worst Religious Persecutor

The Christian aid organization Open Doors warned in a statement to Breitbart News on Monday that a Taliban-dominated Afghanistan may be the single worst violator of religious freedom in the world.

Afghanistan is home to a small minority of Christians already brutally repressed under the now-defunct administration of former President Ashraf Ghani. Prior to the Taliban’s return to power on August 15, Open Doors had ranked Afghanistan second only to North Korea on its World Watch List, an annual listing of countries doing the most to abuse, suppress, and violate the human rights of Christians and other religious minorities.

Following the Taliban’s installation in power this month, evidence rapidly began surfacing of Taliban terrorists going door-to-door seeking Christians to persecute and kill. Afghans found with Christian materials on their mobile phones, such as downloadable Bibles, faced immediate execution according to some on-the-ground reports.

Taliban spokesmen have insisted that the new Afghan regime they will build will be “inclusive” of all sectors of the country’s population but have explicitly avoided discussing religious freedom at all. They have renamed the country after themselves, the “Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan,” and insisted they would govern through sharia, or the Islamic law, leaving no room for religious diversity.

Open Doors confirmed that its sources have also witnessed Taliban door-to-door inspections to persecute “everyone with perceived or real connections to the West.” Many jihadist organizations associate Christianity in general with Western culture and consider it a foreign aberration.

“Non-Muslims are especially unwanted, and Christians are in grave danger,” Amy Lamb, Open Doors USA’s Director of Communications, told Breitbart News on Monday. “Those who are exposed will be severely punished with kidnapping, torture, possibly even death.”

“Afghanistan is ranked the second-worst persecutor of Christians in the world on Open Doors’ 2021 World Watch List. It lags only behind North Korea in intensity, severity, and reach of persecution,” Lamb explained. “The Taliban takeover adds another layer of persecution. Now that the risks and threats have increased, Afghanistan rivals North Korea as the worst violator of religious freedom in the world.”

“The thin layer of protection and justice that Afghan Christians had before the takeover is now completely gone. Christians are looking for ways to survive,” Lamb emphasized.

In January, the 2021 edition of the World Watch List proclaimed, “it is impossible to live openly as a Christian in Afghanistan.” Much of the persecution against Christians was occurring in areas already controlled by the Taliban, but factors such as tribal or even familial persecution of Christian converts played a tremendous role in the threat. The U.S.-backed government reportedly did little to protect Afghan Christians from violent retaliation from their relatives and neighbors.

“Areas controlled by the Taliban are particularly oppressive, but there is no safe way to express any form of Christian faith in the country,” Open Doors noted at the time, describing the country as “only very slightly less oppressive than … North Korea.”

North Korea is a communist atheist dictatorship that considers Christianity itself a national security threat. Those suspected of harboring Christian beliefs, possessing Christian materials such as Bibles, or otherwise engaging with Christianity in any way face state executions or lifetimes in grueling labor camps, enduring extreme torture. North Korean state museums display Bibles alongside firearms, identified as weapons of war.

In her remarks to Breitbart News, Lamb emphasized that Christians are not the only vulnerable religious minority in the country.

“Christians are not the only religious minorities who are targeted. Sikhs are also persecuted but are considered less threatening because they are not known for sharing their faith,” Lamb explained. “While they can still openly identify as Sikhs, they do experience plenty of hostility. Christians, however, must hide their faith or experience near-inevitable kidnapping, torture, and death.”

Lamb urged the world to offer “prayers and advocacy” for all Afghans, now facing not only the extreme dangers of Taliban rule but famine and disease given the collapse of the already precarious Afghan state infrastructure.

“Everyone in Afghanistan is in need of safety, food, clean water, and medical care. Supply chains have broken down and clinics have stopped functioning,” Lamb noted. “Clean water still runs from the taps, but it is at risk of becoming contaminated. If violence breaks out at a larger scale, more infrastructure will be lost, leading to greater loss of life.”

The Taliban have yet to make any public statements on the Chinese coronavirus pandemic since August 15. They do not have a clearly designated public health official and have not indicated they have any strategy in place to combat the pandemic.

Open Doors’ assessment of the situation for Christians in the country aligns with similar reports by other Christian groups active in the country. International Christian Concern (ICC), citing sources on the ground, warned Christians to attempt to stay out of the Taliban’s radar to the best of their ability.

“We are telling people to stay in their houses because going out now is too dangerous,” an Afghan Christian leader reportedly told ICC. “Some known Christians are already receiving threatening phone calls. In these phone calls, unknown people say, ‘We are coming for you.'”

CBN, which relayed the ICC report, noted that Afghanistan is believed to be home to between 10,000 and 12,000 Christians.

'They Were Given the Choice Between Death and Converting to Islam'

The persecution Christians experienced in just one month under Islam.

Tue Aug 17, 2021

Raymond Ibrahim

This report was first published by the Gatestone Institute.  Raymond Ibrahim is a Shillman Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center.

The following are among the abuses inflicted on Christians by Muslims throughout the month of June, 2021:

Pakistan

The Rape, Forced Conversion, and Child Marriage of Christians

A Muslim father-of-four abducted a 13-year-old Christian girl, forced her to convert to Islam, and then “married” her.  According to the father of Nayab Gill, when the beauty school she was attending shut down due to the COVID-19 lockdown, Saddam Hayat, a local Muslim who ran his own beauty shop, “told me that rather than wasting time, Nayab should learn salon skills to help her in supporting the family financially.  He even offered to pick her up from home and drop her off after work, assuring us that she was just like his daughter.”   He had also promised to pay the girl Rs.10,000 (US$63) per month for her services, but stopped paying her after a couple of months.  When the girl went missing on May 20, her frantic parents turned to Hayat, who claimed not to know where she was, and kindly offered to help them find her, including by instructing Nayab’s simple and trusting mother to fill out the missing person’s report in a way that did not implicate him.

“On May 26, we were informed by the police that Nayab was in the Darul Aman [women’s shelter] since May 21,” her father continues. “In an application submitted to a magistrate’s court, Nayab claimed she had willfully converted to Islam a month ago …” According to this application, Nayab also claimed to be 19-years-old, and an Islamic marriage certificate was registered on May 20 claiming she had married Hayat.  That same day the family managed to meet with Nayab at the women’s shelter.   She told her grandmother that she wanted to go home and was willing to sign anything to do so.  At that point, her “husband” and the police—having been notified by a shelter staffer that Nayab was in direct contact with her family—barged in and forcibly separated them.  On the following day, a visibly battered Nayab appeared before court and reaffirmed that she was 19-years-old and had converted to Islam of her own free will.  “Our lawyer did not show up at the hearing, so my wife and I directly approached the judge and presented all official documents to prove that my daughter was born on Oct. 16, 2007, which makes her 13 years and seven months old,” her father explained.

We told the judge that she was lying about her age under duress. She had bruises on her face, and her eyes were also red, which should have caught the judge’s attention, but he ignored it….  [In the end] Judge Jameel relied solely on Nayab’s statements made under obvious threat, rather than official documents, and failed to order an ossification test to determine her age….  My mother [the girl’s grandmother] collapsed in the courtroom as soon as the judge gave his order, and while we were attending to her, the police quietly spirited Nayab away.

In a separate incident, a group of Muslims abducted a Christian teenager, drugged and held him captive for five days, and repeatedly raped and tortured him, before dumping him in a desolate region.  Danish Masih, 17, vanished on June 6.  Although his father immediately reported his son’s disappearance to police, they showed no interest and failed to act.  Discussing this incident, a local human rights activist said,  “As Christians we are a minority and we are alone. For us there is no justice and no equal rights.”  No one has since been arrested.  According to the report, “Danish’s is not an isolated case. Violence against Christians in Pakistan is commonplace,” and includes a “rising number of abductions, child sexual abuses, forced conversions and forced marriages.”

In another incident, a young Christian woman was beat and raped in her home for refusing to convert to Islam and marry her rapist.  Neelam Masih shared her experiences in a June 7 report.  She was home alone when Faisal Basra  “entered my home at gunpoint.”

[He] dragged me to my bedroom and began to punch and kick me.  He threw me on the bed and started to rape me. He demanded I marry him and convert to Islam. I refused. I am not willing to deny Jesus and he said that if I would not agree he would kill me.  He hit me on the face with his pistol and I shouted and screamed and tried to escape but he kept pulling me back, dragging me by my hair.

Eventually Neelam’s neighbor, who is also her second cousin, heard her cries and came rushing to the house, at which point the rapist fled into the night.  Neelam, who is studying for a Master of Philosophy degree, said that, as the only educated Christian woman in her village, she is committed to speaking out against oppression and abuse, despite “reports that friends and family” of the Muslim rapist “are trying to hunt her down and kill her for standing up to him.”

I want the world to know what happened to me…  I am determined to struggle for my faith, my life and my community….  My family is very poor. My mother has two jobs as a sweeper and has done everything she can for my education and it is very important that I stand up for my community.

“Neelam is a very brave woman,” said her lawyer, adding that it is “very unusual” for rape victims to go public in Pakistan:

Struggling against this man has taken great courage….  Most girls feel ashamed and submit to the demands of the attacker. They don’t want to tell anyone. They are usually easily threatened. But Neelam remains faithful to Jesus and is determined to tell her story to bring an end to attacks on Christian girls and young women.

In yet another incident, a group of Muslim men led by one Muhammad Akbar—a man known to have kidnapped Christian women before—abducted a Christian mother of five.  She spent over 20 days in captivity being drugged, raped, and beaten.  Discussing her ordeal, her husband  said during an interview in between tears,

We are poor and Christian therefore the police are not taking any action against the abductor, and because he has heavily bribed the police. But I want justice for my wife. I want all the kidnappers arrested and punished for their crimes so they can stop kidnapping more Christian women.

Finally, according to a June 24 report, a “Muslim doctor forcefully converted a 13-year-old Christian girl to Islam,” so she could “work in their family kitchen.”  The doctor was initially looking to employ two girls in his house.  An impoverished Christian family with eight children sent two of their daughters, aged 13 and 11, to work there.  The agreement was that they would be paid Rs.10,000 per month (US$63); and although this was a live-in job, the girls’ family could visit them.  At the end of the month, however, Dr. Altaf only paid them Rs.3,000 (US$19).  The poor family had no choice but to accept it.  But matters soon worsened.  According to the report,

Neha and Sneha worked there for four years, during this time they started complaining about mistreatment by the family, who would swear at them and even physically assault them. The girls were being treated like slaves and were hardly allowed to meet their parents. They told the family that they wanted to go back home and live with their family, but Dr Altaf did not allow them to leave.

Both girls were missing their family. Sneha [aged 11] fell ill and wasn’t any help to Dr Altaf’s family therefore they agreed to send her back to her parents, but they were not willing to return Neha [aged 13].

Masih requested that Dr Altaf return his oldest daughter too as he was not willing to leave his daughter behind, but Dr Altaf told him that Neha had embraced Islam therefore she could not live with him.

It was a shocking revelation for Masih and [he] refused to accept it. Dr Altaf explained that since they were Muslims, it was not possible for them to allow any non-Muslim to enter the kitchen and touch their food items and kitchen utensils.

Dr Altaf dropped another bombshell on Masih, telling him they had mistakenly overpaid him, 275,000 (US$1,750) and until you pay it back, he won’t be able to get his daughter back.

“Perhaps Pakistan is the only country where such crimes are happening on a daily basis under the cover of Islam,” said one human rights activist while discussing this incident. “It cannot be justified at any cost that a young girl was converted to Islam against her will and without her parents’ knowledge and now she cannot be returned to her parents because her parents are Christians.”

Uganda: Death and Destruction for Christians

On June 11, a Muslim imam slaughtered a 70-year-old Christian pastor.  Pentecostal bishop, Francis Obo, was killed after a group of Muslims dressed in Islamic garb stopped him and his wife as they were returning home in the evening after grocery shopping.  The slain’s wife, Christine, said the men accused Francis of being an “infidel” who causes Muslims to leave Islam and that, accordingly, “Today Allah has judged you.”  One of the assailants told her to go away because “Today, it is a day for your husband,” she said. “As I moved a few meters in a hurry trying to save my life, I heard a little noise and wailing from my husband and realized that his life was in danger.”  She ran home, “trembling and unable to speak, and her children took her to a hospital where she was treated for shock”  On regaining consciousness in the early morning, she told her eldest son what had happened; he and some other siblings went to search for their father where she last saw him.  “Reaching there, they were shocked and fearful as they found a big number of Christians and relatives gathered around the dead body mourning their bishop after being murdered by Muslims,” she said.  Police arrested suspect Imam Uthman Olingha, for having blood splattered on his clothes, and another Muslim.  An officer later told the family that “Olingha openly confessed that he can’t regret that he killed the bishop because he did it in the cause of Allah’s word to kill all infidels who mislead Muslims.”  The murderer added that “Allah will be with him in jail, but the kafiri [infidels] deserved the killing.” Bishop Francis is survived by his wife Christine and 13 children.  He oversaw 17 churches in the area and was active is spreading the Gospel among Muslims—hence why he was targeted.

In a separate but similar incident, the Muslim employer of Fred Isiko, a Christian evangelist, had him killed by assassins. Earlier, Fred had recorded his boss, Ashirafu Kasenyi, a Muslim sheikh, pressuring him to convert:  “You need to convert to Islam if you are to remain as my employee,” Kasenyi says in a May 7 recording.  Fred replies, “I am not going to leave Jesus Christ; better to resign than leave Christianity.”  On the day he was killed, Kasenyi had sent Fred to fetch supplies from the local market.  Fred had a Christian friend with him, Francis, who explains what happened next:

As we were about to reach the trading center, three people stopped us. They said that they have some information for Fred. So I moved at a distance, and immediately one of them removed a long knife and cut his neck as I fled for my life and reported the incident at Kagumu police post.

Police later confirmed that their suspect confessed that the Muslim employer had hired him for the killing.

Finally, the Muslim relatives of a recent convert to Christianity burned his family home down.  After Louis Levi Baula, 46, had taken his 3-year-old son, who suffered from seizures and other symptoms, to the local imam several times, and paid him for prayers of healing, nothing changed.   So he took him to a nearby Christian church where the prayers, Louis and his wife say, healed their son.  “We went back home but did not tell anyone, except I shared with my mother-in-law about the prayers in church that made my child well, and that we were planning to go back to the church the following Sunday,” Louis said. “She kept quiet.”  The next Sunday the family attended the worship service and thanked the church for the prayers that healed their son. When they returned home, more than 20 Muslim relatives were gathered outside their home.  They began questioning them. One got very animated and began crying “Allahu Akbar.”  “We thought that they were going to kill us,” the mother continues, “but they only warned us not to attend the church, and the meeting ended.”  They initially stopped going to church, but then went again.  On returning home that Sunday, they found three of their goats missing.  “A [Muslim] relative named Hamisi told me that Allah had taken the goats,” Louis said. “I was scared by that statement and came back and told my wife.”  She insisted they and their three children, ages 3, 6, and 10, must relocate.

As we were thinking of where to go, at around 9 p.m. we heard hens making a lot of noise in the kitchen, and when I came out, I saw smoke and flames going up the roof, and I went back and told my wife that we are dying.  We picked up our children and went out very fast, and within a short period my brothers, sisters and Muslim neighbors together with an imam arrived. The imam recited the Koran, and then later told my brothers to start destroying the house.

They watched helplessly as their Muslim relatives and the fire destroyed their home, property, and livestock. “The imam told us,” Louis continues, “that from today we were no longer one of the family members, that we were kafir [infidels] and that we should leave the homestead immediately to go and look for other infidels.  He added that had it not been the law of our state, we would face death, but ‘go out of here since you have disobeyed Allah and his messenger.’”

The family fled with nothing but the clothes on their back and since last reported took refuge in another Christian’s home.

More Christian Slaughter in Africa

Mozambique: As the southeast African nation continues to fight off the Islamic State and other terrorists—nearly a million people have been displaced since 2017 and thousands slaughtered—in a June 28 report, Todd Nettleton of The Voice of the Martyrs USA explained how the terrorists mostly target Christians:

They say their goal is to set up a caliphate similar to ISIS in Iraq and Syria. And they are in some cases, literally going door to door. They ask, ‘Are you a Christian? Or are you a Muslim?’ If you’re a Christian, you’re killed. If you’re a Muslim, then you get the opportunity to quote some Quranic verses. And if you can quote them sufficiently, you save your life. Otherwise, you also get killed [including by crucifixion].

In another report on Mozambique from June 23, Amy Lamb of Open Doors said,

Because of [the rise in Christianity], we’re seeing jihadist groups including those who are affiliated with the Islamic state, with al Shabab, with Boko Haram, al Qaeda….   [They are] organizing together in order to expand their territories throughout the African continent, and their goal is really to eradicate Christianity from this territory and, unfortunately, in some ways, it’s working.  Even specifically from this northern part of Mozambique, an estimated 800,000 people have fled the region, and those who remain, including women, children, families, are facing starvation even if they’re spared from … violence.

Nigeria: Among several other lethal attacks on Christians, which claimed at least 17 Christian lives in the preceding days, Muslim Fulani herdsmen shot to death Precious Emeka Chinedu, a Christian doctor, on June 17 in Niger State.  Five Muslims entered the hospital he worked in, seized and left with him, and then killed him and left his body in the bush.  Discussing this incident, the doctor’s colleague, Baridueh Badon, said:

His killers, who are herdsmen, came to the hospital, specifically asked for him, didn’t harm anybody, collected his money, took him away, and killed him without asking for ransom. What did he do wrong? Your blood will keep crying until justice is done….  Everyone loved him, always smiling, and he was one of the most hard-working persons I have ever known.  His hospital boomed because he was saving lives. If you had any problems, Emeka would be there to help.

Attacks on Churches

Democratic Republic of Congo: On Sunday, June 27, a makeshift bomb placed in the first row behind the altar exploded inside a Catholic church in Beni, leaving at least two injured.  “I had just entered the church, I hadn’t even managed to sit down, I heard ‘Boom’… Blood started flowing from my mouth.  I lost four teeth and was injured in the arms,” one of the injured women, Antoinette Kavira, explained from her hospital bed.  The blast occurred shortly before the start of a confirmation ceremony. “They were targeting a large crowd because the ceremony would bring together children, their parents and the faithful,” said a church official.  The Allied Democratic Forces, a terrorist group connected to the Islamic State, is believed to be responsible for the attack.  While discussing this latest attack, local Bishop Paluku shed light on the devastation committed by the Islamic terrorists:

Armed groups are destroying schools and hospitals. Teachers and pupils are being killed. They are even killing the sick as they lie in their hospital beds. Not a day goes by without people being killed… We need centers where people can go for therapy. Many people are traumatized…  A large-scale project is underway to Islamize or expel the indigenous populations.  Anyone who has been kidnapped by these terrorist groups and managed to escape from them alive has told the same story. They were given the choice between death and converting to Islam.

Indonesia:  In the early morning hours of Sunday, June 27, a Protestant church was vandalized and then set aflame in the world’s most populous Muslim nation.  The fire was put out before doing extensive damage.  Although evidence indicates that the arsonist acted purposefully—he first broke the church’s windows, vandalized the interior, and then torched the exterior, all under the helpful cover of darkness—police concluded that the suspect is mentally disabled, prompting some critics to say that the incident is being “played down.”

Separately, police arrested “11 suspected Islamic militants accused of plotting attacks at several Christian churches in easternmost Papua province,” says a May 31 report:

The arrests led police to another suspect who was detained Sunday, and led them to seize items from various locations including chemicals for explosives, modified air guns able to fire real bullets, jihadist books and documents on planned attacks.

Those arrested are members of Jemaah Anshorut Daulah, which has pledged allegiance to the Islamic State group and carried out a series of suicide bombings in Indonesia, including the bombing of a cathedral during Palm Sunday mass in March 2021 in Makassar, in which 20 were seriously wounded.

Finally, on June 19, ten Muslim schoolchildren, between the ages of 5 and 12, vandalized and desecrated a Christian cemetery, including by breaking the crosses off a dozen gravestones.  After inspecting the damage done, the mayor of Solo laid the blame on the Islamic madrasa the children attend, and its teachers,  “because they are teaching intolerance to their students.”  He even urged police to prosecute the teachers and punish the students despite them being children. “Their actions were a gross act of intolerance.”

Pakistan: According to a June 22 report, a group of armed Muslim men attacked Harvest Church in the Punjab province.  They broke in, shooting their guns in the air and severely beating the watchman present; several other Christians, men and women who were participating in evening prayers, were also hurt and hospitalized.

Egypt: Authorities recently barged onto and seized land belonging to  an ancient Coptic monastery that was originally founded in the year 360—that is, nearly 300 years before Islam invaded and subsequently conquered Egypt in the seventh century.  On May 30, authorities arrived with bulldozers and police at the Monastery of Saint Macarius in the deserts of Wadi al-Rayan in Fayum.  They demolished a fence of the annex-farm and other structures—including a church—that had been erected by the monks living there.  Several monks who protested or tried to prevent this state sanctioned destruction were arrested but shortly released.  The reason for this takeover is that the monastery has been unable to pay the exorbitant levies that the government imposed on it a few years ago, in large measure due to the many government enforced COVID-19 restrictions, including on tourism, which would have helped keep the ancient monastery afloat.  Commenting on this, Christian Solidarity Worldwide, a human rights organization, said:

Whilst we recognise the right of the government to collect the agreed taxes, we also recognise that this monastery has been on this site for centuries and that the rental levies are a relatively recent expense in its historic existence. We encourage … a just settlement in this matter, including a reappraisal of the rent that the monastery is required to pay, which is a considerable financial burden even outside the unusual circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has negatively impacted livelihoods in Egypt and across the world.

This is not the first time that the Egyptian government harasses the ancient Christian monasteries scattered in the deserts of Egypt—the one in question, St. Macarius, in particular.  In 2015, the government initiated a project to build a road around Fayum.  The proposed road would have crossed the territory around and threatened to destroy ancient heritage sites connected to the Monastery of St. Macarius.

In the end, the monks had no choice but to lay their bodies down before the path of the bulldozers, which arrived to the accompaniment of triumphant cries of “Allahu Akbar” from the company drivers and workers (pictures here).  Then, the monks were again arrested, though later released, and the road construction started, against their will.

Have You or a Loved One Been Hurt or Injured by the Democrat Party?

By J.B. Shurk

"Have you or a loved one been hurt or injured by the Democrat Party?"  That's the only question Republicans should run on radio and television ads from here on out.  It's the same question civil litigators regularly use in late-night commercials when they're looking to add new members to class action lawsuits, but compared to asbestos poisoning, the side-effects of prescription medicines, or injuries from medical devices, the Democrats are the Grand Pooh-bahs of causing physical and emotional harm to everyday Americans.

Have you been living in a run-down American city plagued by crime, awful public schools, and economic deprivation?  You're most likely living in a city that has been run by Democrats for over a century.  Life does not have to be this way.  Most of the country does not live this way.  Vote out those who make life miserable.

Have you or a loved one experienced anti-Semitism or religious bigotry?  You may be represented by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, Rashida Tlaib, Cori Bush, or any of the many Democrats who choose Islamic terrorism over Israel's right to exist.  End the madness.  You deserve to be represented by people who don't sympathize with those who wish you dead.

Are you tired of endless medical lockdowns indistinguishable from house arrest; mask Nazis policing what you wear; and vaccination passports mandated by Democrats in return for the "privilege" of being allowed to walk around in public, shop, and eat in restaurants without being harassed?  Does your child find it difficult to breathe when running around the playground with a covered face?  Is your little one struggling emotionally and academically after missing over a year of school because Democrat-run public school unions refuse to teach?  Government coercion and threats do not have to be endured.  You do not have to elect those who work to muzzle you.

Have you or a loved one been injured by foreign nationals not legally in the country?  Have you experienced depreciated wages because local businesses can hire illegal aliens for far less?  Has your child been a victim of drugs or gang violence made possible by an open southern border and unenforced immigration laws?  If so, stop voting for the same people who hurt your family by using tax dollars to incentivize illegal immigration and crime.

Have you been denied school admission or employment because you happen to be an "over-achieving" Asian?  Have you been told, "You ain't Black" because you questioned Democrat policies?  Has your church or synagogue been closed by government authorities because your faith is demonized as "harmful" to public health while those same government authorities encourage Antifa domestic terrorists to run roughshod over the streets to intimidate citizens into political compliance?  Have you been told you must support abortion even though it directly conflicts with your religion?  Have you been pressured to support illegal immigration just because you are a legal immigrant relatively new to the United States?  Are you tired of being told that the color of your skin is more important than what is going on in your brain or heart?  Are you exhausted at being told you must "learn someone's pronouns" or risk punishment?  If so, you do not have to elect people who divide Americans into small warring tribes based upon how they look.  You do not have to choose a political party that sees everything in terms of race.  You do not have to support officials who would be properly called bigots in another age.  You do not have to keep voting for hate.

Now, to me, those questions are so obvious and so damning that you'd have to have been running the Republican Party for the last thirty years not to see their worth.  That Republican officeholders and operatives have so spectacularly failed to highlight the social and economic destruction caused by Democrat policies stands as enduring proof of their own institutional mediocrity.  Considering how many former party chairs and leaders have either officially joined the Democrat party in recent years or actively support that party by pushing policies despised by the Republican base, the Republicans' inability to expand their appeal until Donald Trump emerged in politics is hardly surprising.

Too many potential Republicans have never made the jump because too many people are rightly confused about whom Republicans actually represent.  (Hint: There is nothing wrong with "populism" if that means doing what actual voters prefer rather than what corporate lobbyists demand.)  Most of the corporate boards, Wall Street banks, and Silicon Valley tech behemoths stand solidly with Democrats, yet Republicans are still routinely demonized as the "party of the rich."  Is that because Republican officeholders are so pathetically bad at politics, or because they too frequently vote for corporate welfare and investment firm bailouts, enact policies that encourage the outsourcing of working-class jobs overseas, and protect multinational conglomerates at the expense of American industries?  Well, Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, Lindsey Graham, and sixteen other Senate Republicans answered this question once again by joining Democrats in a one-and-a-half-trillion-dollar drunken spending binge filled with pork, crony insider enrichment, and a massive expansion of government power under the guise of "infrastructure" improvement.  And while it sets the stage for the additional three-and-a-half-trillion-dollar Green New Deal takeover of the economy barreling our way, it does nothing to give Republicans even a patina of restraint or sensibility.  It is difficult to explain to fence-sitters how the Democrat-corporate alliance is threatening Americans' freedoms when half the Republicans in office use their powers to strengthen Wall Street and weaken Main Street at every turn.

So like all commercial advertisements worried about legal liability for causing unknown future harm from defective products, perhaps any ads against Democrats should include some variation of the following boilerplate language:

Warning: Although Republican voters overwhelmingly believe in limited government; individual freedom; the Bill of Rights; constitutional separation of powers; and the God-given guarantee of every American to live, work, and own property without giving a fig what anybody in government thinks, RINO-ism may occur when too many Establishment Republicans directly or indirectly support Silicon Valley censorship of Americans; the growth and entrenched power of D.C.'s labyrinthine bureaucracy; the super-taxation of the working class by enacting policies that devalue the dollar; the destruction of American jobs in the name of "free trade"; the expansion of the nanny state in the name of "compassion"; the proliferation of the surveillance state in the name of "security"; and the routine demonization of the Republican base as "domestic terrorists," "extremists," "Neanderthals," "deplorables," and other vile slurs cooked up by Democrats and their media monopoly but which Republican elites fully embrace.  RINO-ism may or may not occur after Establishment Republicans accept huge campaign contributions from corporate interests or lobbyists.  Additionally, some Republicans have a tendency to stab voters in the back, allow elections to be stolen right from under them, and engage in forever-wars.  Should their tumescent narcissism last longer than it takes Lord Fauci to flip-flop, chuck those useless idiots out of office, too.

Report: Taliban Abducting Girls to Turn into ‘Sex Slaves’ in Afghanistan

The Taliban terror group is allegedly “going door-to-door” in some regions of Afghanistan to select girls as young as 12 years old to become “sex slaves” for the group’s jihadi fighters, News Corp Australia’s News.com.au reported Thursday.

“An inside source suggests that Taliban leaders are attempting to kidnap and forcibly marry women,” the news site relayed, citing an earlier report by Bloomberg, published Monday.

“[T]he Taliban are going door-to-door in some areas, compiling lists of women and girls aged between 12 and 45 years for their fighters to forcibly marry,” Bloomberg reported on August 9.

“Taliban commanders, after capturing some of the provincial capitals, have ordered local Imams [Islamic leaders] to bring the lists of unmarried women aged from 12 to 45 for their soldiers to marry as they view them as ‘qhanimat or ‘spoils of war,’” OpIndia reported August 12, citing an August 11 report by the U.K.’s Daily Mail.

“The Taliban intends to ‘divide’ these kids among themselves as Jihadists consider them as a ‘prize,'” according to OpIndia, a conservative Indian news site.

“Taliban fighters are permitted to do this under their strict interpretation of Islam which views women as ‘kaniz’ or ‘commodities,'” Omar Sadr, a professor at the American University of Afghanistan, told the Daily Mail.

The Taliban reconquered large swaths of Afghanistan in recent months as U.S. and NATO-allied troops withdrew from the country to end a 20-year-long joint military operation based out of Kabul. The U.S. launched the War in Afghanistan in the autumn of 2001, by ousting the Taliban from Afghanistan’s government and will end the operation by August 31. The Taliban has swiftly regained control over at least 85 percent of the country in the wake of the nearly complete troop withdrawal. The Sunni terror group has ramped up its military campaign over the past week, retaking three northern provincial capitals in a single day on August 8.

The Taliban has reimposed sharia, or Islamic law, across most of the regions it reconquered in recent weeks. The group has ordered taxi drivers in the Afghan town of Balkh, a regional hub near the Uzbek border, “not to drive any woman into the town unless she’s fully veiled,” the BBC reported on August 11. The British broadcaster published its report after sending a group of reporters to Balkh to interview members of the Taliban.

“The day after we leave, reports emerge of a young woman being murdered because of her clothing,” the BBC revealed. “Haji Hekmat, though, rejects allegations Taliban members were responsible.”

The BBC identified Hekmat as a “local Taliban leader and our host in Balkh.”

“All the women we see … are wearing the all-encompassing burqa, covering both their hair and face,” the broadcaster wrote of its visit to Balkh’s main bazaar, or market.

Hekmat insisted to the BBC that no women were being “forced” to wear the full burka, claiming that “the Taliban are simply ‘preaching’ that this is how women should dress.”

“In our Sharia it’s clear, for those who have sex and are unmarried, whether it’s a girl or a boy, the punishment is 100 lashes in public,” a Taliban judge named Haji Badruddin told the BBC after the broadcaster visited “a Taliban court session” in Balkh.

“But for anyone who’s married, they have to be stoned to death … For those who steal: if it’s proved, then his hand should be cut off,” he said.

Bangladesh: Muslim Mob Vandalizes and Loots Hindu Temples, Shops, Homes

Inside the world of Sharia.

More on this story: days after a Hindu temple dedicated to the Hindu deity Ganesh was vandalized and burned down in Bhong city, Pakistan, another South Asian Islamic country, the erstwhile East Pakistan, has followed the same line of bigotry. We must give credit to Bangladesh for outdoing its former masters and taking down not just one Hindu temple, but four.

On Friday night, a group of Hindu women in the Shiali village of Rupsha Upazila in Khulna took out a religious procession from the local Purba Para temple and were headed for the Shiali crematorium. They had to pass by a local mosque to reach their destination, and crossed paths with an Islamic cleric, who registered his objections to the procession. This spiraled into a heated altercation between the Hindu devotees and the Muslim cleric. As it was already past 9PM, both parties decided to take the matter up with the police the following day.

However, on Saturday, August 7 between 3 and 6PM, a mob of Muslims launched an ambush attack on the Hindus of Shiali village. Hundreds of Muslims joined this frantic mob and entered the village armed with locally-made makeshift weapons including cleavers, hatchets, and axes. Their first target was the four major Hindu temples in the village; they were desecrated and torn down in minutes by the mob. Six smaller temples in the proximity became the next targets, and were razed to the ground as well. Idols of Hindu deities at the Govinda Temple, Shiyali Purbpara Durga Temple, Shiyali Purbapara Hari Temple, and Shiyali Mahasmashan temple were crushed to bits.

But the ire of the Muslim mob was not placated by the desecration of these Hindu temples alone. They shifted their ire to human beings and their livelihood. Dozens of shops belonging to the Hindus, including Ganesh Mallick’s drug store, Sourav Mallick’s tea and grocery store, Srivastava Mallick’s grocery store, Anirban Hira’s tea shop and his father Majumdar’s shop situated in the local marketplace, were plundered; over fifty-five Hindu houses were ransacked and emptied of valuables. The jihadi crowd also looted milching cows and other cattle belonging to the Hindus, which provided a source of nutrition as well as income to the hapless people from the marginalized community. Numerous unarmed Hindu villagers were assaulted and suffered severe injuries in this clash; many were brutally beaten when they tried to defend their shops from the jihadist plunderers.

The mayhem lasted for hours. Once the thirst for Hindu misery was satiated, the mob decided to disperse. By this time, some Hindus had informed the local police, and some had formed groups to confront the jihadis. However, Shaktipada Basu, the president of the Rupsha Thana Puja Celebration Parishad, accuses the police of chasing away the Hindus when they first went to complain to the Shiali Camp police station. “Police of the Shiali camp resisted the Hindu villagers when they wanted to chase the attackers during the attack,” alleges Basu.

Khulna Superintendent of Police Mahbub Hasan informed the media that a heavy police contingent had been deployed in the area of clash and claimed that the unrest had been brought under control. “We are working with local people,” Hasan briefed the press.

Attacks on the minorities have become a routine recourse for the jihadis of Bangladesh. On the occasion of Eid al-Adha last month, Kotalipara Upazila of Gopalganj district in Bangladesh carried out a similar orchestrated attack on the local Hindus, raiding Hindu houses and Hindu-owned businesses, and assaulting Hindus. No part of the plan for destruction was omitted in that act of mob violence, either.

Back in March 2021, triggered by a social media post allegedly made by a Hindu youth named Jhumon Das, a series of planned attacks was carried out on Hindu homes in the area of Das’s residence in Sunamganj. Das’s immediate arrest by the police couldn’t pacify the fuming mob, which targeted other Hindus who had no relation to the alleged offense, just for the fun of it. Economically deprived Hindus struggling to make ends meet were stripped of their last resources in the mob violence in Shalla Upazila.

The media’s colossal indifference to all this, and the inaction of the police in the face of these repeated acts of terrorizing the minority emboldens the mobs’ bloodlust and thirst for destruction and loot. They act upon these desires with unmatched impunity. They know for a fact that they have been made into a global victim by the Leftist platforms that shape the popular narrative; hence they have neither the fear of repercussions nor any reputation to salvage.

Do You Want to Be a Teacher at a Private School Led by an ‘ISIS Imam’?

Muslim Federation advertises job positions for terror-linked Miami madrassa.

Thu Aug 12, 2021

Joe Kaufman

Joe Kaufman is a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center and the Chairman of the Joe Kaufman Security Initiative. He was the 2014, 2016 and 2018 Republican Nominee for U.S. House of Representatives (Florida-CD23).

The South Florida Muslim Federation (SoFlo Muslims) is an umbrella group for South Florida’s many Islamic extremist entities, including radical mosques. However, one fanatic mosque that the Federation is yet to affiliate with is Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, the North Miami Islamic Center (NMIC). That may be changing, though, as the Federation recently used its social media to announce vacancies and advertise teaching jobs for the children’s school run by the mosque, Reviver Academy. Given the level of bigotry and incitement that is preached at NMIC, it is obvious as to why the Federation is eager to aid and abet its establishment.

On July 12th, an ad appeared on the Muslim Federation Facebook page with a large Reviver Academy logo affixed to it, stating the following: “Vacancy… Reviver Academy K-12 Grade Teachers Needed – SoFlo Muslims.” When clicking on the ad, you are brought to a page on the Federation website with more details about the Reviver job description, discussing position requirements, qualifications, benefits and compensation. You are even able to fill out and submit a resume directly via the Federation site. Question: What is so special about this school that the Federation is working so hard to help recruit teachers for it?

Reviver Academy was founded, in 2012, as an affordable alternative and to keep more in line with Islamic fundamentalist doctrine than existing Muslim elementary schools. Upon visiting the Reviver Facebook, one can see a number of disturbing posts, including the announcement of an NMIC memorial for deceased Muslim Brotherhood icon and recently ousted Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi. Another (colored in red) reads, “Plant the seed of faith in your CHILDREN and reap the rewards even in the GRAVE.” While the message may be clear, why would the school want to subject young impressionable kids to such morbid images of death and the afterlife?

The Sharia Director, board member and spokesman for Reviver Academy is NMIC imam Fadi Kablawi. According to Kablawi, the FBI believes he is also a member of ISIS. In December 2013, Kablawi spent time in the Rikers Island Jail Complex, after the TSA had accused him of having explosive residue on his clothing and claiming that he was in possession of a bomb. As well, Kablawi hates Jews with a passion. This past December, he described Jews as “the lowest of the lowest.” In September, he proclaimed, “You will find the most enemies to the believers are the Jews.” And in July 2020, he said that Jews were behind all “the corruption in the Earth.”

Quran scholar Ibrahim Akar sits atop all Reviver teachers, on the school’s website. In March 2015, Akar made the vile claim that “90% of women… are cursed by God.” He further said that women “wearing perfume outside the house is forbidden” and is an act of adultery. He cynically concluded by asking, “Did you know why most of the people of the Hellfire are women?” This past December, Imam Kablawi added his own thoughts about women. He told his congregation that, if a Muslim man marries a Christian woman, he must forbid her from attending church and “a wife – Christian or Muslim – she is not allowed to leave your house without your permission.”

It is no wonder as to why the Muslim Federation would elect to actively assist a mosque like NMIC in their quest to hire new teachers, as the Federation already is tied to a number of other radical mosques. One mosque the Federation harbors, Masjid Jamaat Al-Mumineen (MJAM), promotes on its website material referring to Jews and Christians as “the enemies of Islam” and advocating female genital mutilation, death punishments for homosexuals, and the stoning of women. MJAM’s imam, Izhar Khan, who sits on the Federation’s Council of Imams, was alleged by the FBI to have helped finance the Taliban for the purpose of murdering US troops overseas.

Another Federation mosque is the Islamic Center of Boca Raton (ICBR). ICBR co-founder and current Federation participant, Bassem Alhalabi, was a former assistant to Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) leader Sami al-Arian. In June 2003, Alhalabi was charged by the US Commerce Department with illegally shipping a $13,000 thermal imaging device to Syria. ICBR co-founder, Syed Ahmad, was a website designer for Hamas. In October 1999, ICBR published a violently anti-Semitic essay on its website, ‘Why can’t the Jews and Muslims live together in peace?’ It called Jews “enemies” and spoke of a day when Muslims will “fight the Jews and kill them.”

MJAM and ICBR are but two of several examples of the extremist entities which flourish under the aegis of the South Florida Muslim Federation. It is obvious as to why this umbrella organization is advertising teaching positions and soliciting staff for the Reviver Academy and NMIC mosque. And while all three of these mosques insidiously refer to Jews as the enemy, in fact, it is the opposite. It is these violence-prone, intolerant Islamic centers and the Muslim Federation that houses and shills for them that pose the real threat. For these reasons and more, they all need to be shut down.

Muslim Congressional Candidate Attends Radical Mosques, Singles Out Israel for Attack

Barbara Sharief says Islam is peaceful religion, then cavorts with terror-linked Islamists.

Broward County Commissioner Barbara Sharief has the distinction of having been Broward’s first black female mayor and first Muslim mayor. For the past 12-plus years, since she has held different elected political offices, she has, for the most part, kept a distance between herself and Islamist groups, of which there are many in South Florida. In fact, in 2016, it was reported that Sharief had not “been in a mosque since she was a teenager.” As a current candidate for US Congress, though, things have changed, as she now appears to have embraced radical Islam in a big way. This article was written to expose the potential danger she poses to the community.

Barbara Muhammad Sharief, in her youth, had a close relationship with the Nation of Islam (NOI), the black separatist group headed by rabid anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan. Sharief had been a student at NOI’s Clara Mohammed School (CMS), located in Miami, and she, her mother Bobbie, and her late father James, had been active members of Masjid Al-Ansar (MAA), the mosque where the school was and still is housed and where boxing champion Muhammad Ali reportedly worshiped during his earliest days as a Muslim. According to the South Florida Times, Sharief gives “credit for her success in part… to the Clara Mohammed School system.”

This past April, Sharief, in her capacity as Broward Commissioner, read and presented a proclamation to representatives of the Muslim Students Association (MSA) designating April as ‘Muslim Heritage Month.’ The ceremony was held at the Islamic Foundation of South Florida (IFSF). In April 2014, IFSF hosted a talk by Mazen Mokhtar, a former admin for the now-defunct al-Qaeda recruitment site, qoqaz.net, and supporter of suicide bombings. IFSF’s ex-Youth Director Abdur Rahman al-Ghani, on Facebook, called Jews “demonic” and the US the “World’s Number One Terrorist Organization.” He threatened, Islam “will overtake the world in numbers.”

Speaking at Sharief’s IFSF event was Samir Kakli, President of the South Florida Muslim Federation (SoFlo Muslims), an umbrella organization for the majority of South Florida’s radical Muslim groups.

In May, Sharief did a video greeting to wish the Muslim community blessings during the holiday, Eid. While such a message would normally be viewed as innocuous, this particular one included an assault on Israel. She said, “This is a time where we should reflect and pray for those… who are under attack. Palestine needs our help and they need our support, and it’s unacceptable to have a place of worship be attacked.” No doubt, her words were reference to Israeli security entering al-Aqsa, and without getting into the false implication of her statement, her singling out Israel for condemnation was an anti-Semitic message to Islamists that she stands with them.

In June, Sharief was interviewed by Shafayat Mohamed, the imam of the Darul Uloom mosque, located in Pembroke Pines. In July, she spoke at the mosque. Darul Uloom has been a haven for high-profile terrorists. “Dirty Bomber” Jose Padilla was a student of Mohamed’s at Darul Uloom, and now-deceased al-Qaeda commander Adnan el-Shukrijumah was a prayer leader there. Mohamed, himself, was thrown off a number of community boards for his public vitriol against homosexuals. In February 2005, Darul Uloom published an article written by Mohamed, titled ‘Tsunami: Wrath of God,’ claiming that gay sex caused the 2004 Indonesian tsunami.

The past two months, prominent members of the Muslim community have been holding private affairs for Sharief, including a July ‘Meet & Greet.’ Attending the events and posing for photos with Sharief was COO of ICNA Relief Abdul Rauf Khan, who is an avid fan of Louis Farakhan and has used Facebook to target Jews and gays. ICNA or the Islamic Circle of North America is the American arm of South Asian Islamist group Jamaat-e-Islami (JI). ICNA continues to promote domestic violence against women on its Why Islam (WI) website, and ICNA has spent 30-plus years harboring Ashrafuz Zaman Khan, a former death squad leader wanted for murder.

In May 2011, following the killing of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden by US Navy SEAL Team Six, Sharief was interviewed by the Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel about her thoughts on the matter. She spoke of a negative “perception that bin Laden and 9/11 gave to the religion of Islam.” She told the publication, “What he did was completely opposite of what Islam and what its people stand for. Islam is a very, very laid back and very accepting religion... Peace and friendliness and cohesiveness is something I think that the Islamic community looks for.”

While this may very well be Sharief’s opinion, and she is certainly entitled to it, her actions, in cavorting with those from the Muslim community who are linked to bigotry and violence, make the commissioner out to be a total hypocrite. Indeed, the individuals and groups Sharief has been associating with epitomize – and this author uses Sharief’s own words – the “complete opposite” of the “peace and friendliness and cohesiveness” she speaks of.

Barbara Sharief is running for US Congress, one of the most powerful positions in our nation. If she wins, she will represent local communities throughout South Florida. Yet, because of her extremist affiliations, Sharief may actually be a threat to those same local communities and the nation in general. If local and national security mean anything to the voters of Florida Congressional District 20, their votes must go elsewhere.
