(CNS News) --  A new Pew Research poll found that 45% of Americans, nearly half the country, think the United States should be a "Christian nation" to one degree or another, and that 60% believe America was originally intended to be a Christian nation.

The Pew Research Center conducted the survey among 10,588 U.S. adults and asked them, “Do you think the founders of America originally intended for the U.S. to be a ‘Christian nation’?” 60% of Americans said yes, while 37% said no.

When asked, “Do you think the U.S. should be a “Christian nation”? 45% said yes and 51% said no.

The survey also asked, “Do you think the U.S. is now a “Christian nation”? 64% said no and 33% said yes.

Commenting on the words “Christina nation,” Pew said, “While some people who say the U.S. should be a Christian nation define the concept as one where a nation’s laws are based on Christian tenets and the nation’s leaders are Christian, it is much more common for people in this category to see a Christian nation as one where people are more broadly guided by Christian values or a belief in God, even if its laws are not explicitly Christian and its leaders can have a variety of faiths or no faith at all.”

“Some people who say the U.S. should be a Christian nation are thinking about the religious makeup of the population; to them, a Christian nation is a country where most people are Christians,” said Pew. “Others are simply envisioning a place where people treat each other well and have good morals.”

In related questions, the survey asked, “Should churches/other houses of worship endorse political candidates?” 20% said yes and 77% said no.

When asked about the amount of influence the Bible should have on our laws, 27% of U.S. adults said, “If [laws] conflict, Bible should have more influence than will of people,” and 19% said, “Will of people should have more influence.” Only 1% stated that, “Bible should have little or no influence on U.S. laws”.

The survey also revealed that 23% believe religion is gaining influence in the U.S. while 74% said it was losing influence.

Another question asked was, “Thinking about the way things have been going in politics over the last few years on the issues that matter to you, would you say that your side has been winning more often or losing more often than winning?”

The poll further asked whether the Republican or Democratic Party was friendly, unfriendly, or neutral towards religion. 58% of voters said the Republican Party was friendly towards religion; 37% said that the Republican Party was neutral towards religion; and 11% said the GOP was unfriendly toward religion.

In contrast, only 21% of adults said the Democrat Party was friendly toward religion; 44% said it was neutral;  and 32% said the Democrats were unfriendly towards religion.

In conclusion, Pew said, “The survey suggests that more Americans see religion as a positive influence in American life than a negative one. Four-in-ten U.S. adults say religion’s influence is declining and that this is a bad thing. Approximately one-in-ten say religion’s influence is growing and that this is a good thing. Roughly half, then, express a positive view of religion in these questions.

“By contrast, about a quarter of U.S. adults express a negative view of religion by saying either that religion’s influence is waning and that is a good thing, or that religion’s influence is growing and that is a bad thing.”

The persecution Christians experienced in just one month.

'His Face Was Severely Deformed Due to the Violence'

This article first appeared on the Gatestone Institute.

The following are among the abuses Muslims inflicted on Christians throughout the month of September, 2022:

The Muslim Slaughter of Christians

Azerbaijan/Armenia: On Sept. 13, Azerbaijan launched drones, artillery, and mortars on several Armenian villages; the bombardment continued for two days. Over 100 Armenian soldiers were killed. Though widely seen as a territorial dispute between (Christian) Armenia and (Muslim) Azerbaijan, jihadist hate has long fueled the conflict.  As one example, during this most recent assault, and in the words of an Armenian military official, the Azerbaijanis:

“committed atrocities in our combat positions against our servicemen, including women soldiers.  I cannot find words to describe how they dismembered a female soldier, cut off her legs, fingers and stripped her naked. This is unheard of cruelty.”

A video of these atrocities, made by the Azerbaijani soldiers themselves, was emailed to me; it shows piles of mutilated and decapitated Armenian soldiers, including the woman in question.  She appears naked, with both of her arms and legs cut off.  One of her eyes is clearly gouged out.  A severed finger appears sticking out of her mouth, and another appears to be sticking out of her private parts. It is a truly disturbing if not diabolical image.  The Muslim soldiers videotaping their handiwork, which included several other mutilated and beheaded Armenian men, can be heard laughing and joking in the background. The murdered woman was identified as “Anush Apetyan, 36, a mother of three children [who] was reportedly captured alive in Jermuk and then raped, tortured and dismembered by Azerbaijani soldiers.”  The severing of this woman’s fingers is a telltale sign that jihadist sadism fueled the mutilation.  For example, after declaring “I will cast terror into the hearts of infidels,” Allah calls on Muslims to “strike off their heads and strike off their every fingertip” (Koran 8:12; emphasis added). Nor are these recent mutilations an aberration.  When Azerbaijan attacked Armenia in late 2020, Muslim soldiers “tortured beyond recognition” a mentally disabled Armenian woman by hacking off her ears, hands, and feet, before finally executing her.  Similarly, video footage showed Azerbaijani soldiers overpowering and forcing down an elderly Armenian man, who cries and implores them for mercy, as they casually carve at his throat with a knife.

Mozambique:   During the night of September 6-7, armed Muslim terrorists connected to the Islamic State stormed a Catholic mission compound in Chipene, where they set fire to the church, schools, and hospitals.  During the chaos, one of the nuns, Maria De Coppi, was shot in the head and killed as she ran towards a burning dormitory to assist the few remaining students hiding there.  She was 83 years old and had spent 59 years serving the people of Mozambique.  Three other Christians were killed during this jihad.  Hours before her murder, Sister Maria had called and left a voice message with her niece:

“Hello, Gabriella, good evening. I just wanted to tell you the situation here is agonizing, it’s not good. It is very tense.  Everyone here is fleeing, the people are running away. [She was describing Islamic terror attacks from days earlier.] It is a very, very sad situation. Pray for us, that the Lord protects us and also these people. Goodbye, good night.”

The Islamic State later claimed responsibility for the attack and said they killed the nun because she had  “excessively engaged in spreading Christianity.”

Uganda: Muslims drowned and killed a group of Christians.  The Christians, five missionaries and their local guide, were travelling by boat to a new region where they hoped to found a new church.  While in the vessel, they encountered and began to talk to ten men dressed in Islamic attire.  According to Amos, their Christian guide who survived,

“On our way, Tonny Ankunda [one of the missionaries] started preaching to the people on the boat, which resulted in a huge argument between Muslims and the missionaries concerning the Sonship of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

One of the Muslims, identified only as Bashir, threatened the Christians: “If you continue insisting that Jesus is the Son of God, then Allah will kill all of you.”  When the Christians continued to debate including by citing scriptures, Bashir exclaimed, “We are giving you one last minute to stop your blasphemy and to convert by confessing the shahada [Islamic creed], or else your lives are at risk.”  When the evangelists refused to renounce Christ and embrace Muhammad, “the Muslims seized them and pushed them off the boat one by one…  The 10 Muslims aboard were in agreement that the Christians should be killed, and neither they nor the boat’s pilot did anything to intervene.”  Amos was released after telling the Muslims that he was not part of the team of five Christians.

In a separate murder in Uganda, a Muslim stepmother poisoned her step-daughter for becoming a Christian.  On Sept. 18, Namata Habiba, 23, attended a church service at the invitation of a friend.  There, she put her faith in Christ.  On returning home that night, her stepmother inquired as to why she had returned so late.  Namata, according to the friend who accompanied her home, confessed the truth, at which point the stepmother stopped talking.  She continued preparing supper for the two Christian women and retired for the night.  The friend, whose name is withheld for security reasons, refrained from eating, as she was fasting, but Namata ate.  Within minutes, she became very ill and began to vomit.  Her friend began yelling for the stepmother, but she was nowhere to be found.  Due to the ruckus, neighbors came to the house, and helped rush Namata to a local hospital.  Despite treatment, she died.  A postmortem revealed that she had died by ingesting rat poison.  Namata leaves behind a 3-year-old child, whose Muslim father had promised but apparently failed to make Namata his second wife.

Nigeria: Some of the genocidal assaults on the West African nation’s Christian population throughout the month of September, 2022, follow:

On Sept. 1, Muslim Fulani herdsmen killed six Christians in central Nigeria. “Some of the victims were shot, while others were attacked with machetes,” a local said.

On Sunday, Sept. 11, Muslim herdsmen killed a Christian security guard after abducting a pastor and wounding his wife. In the words of an area resident,

“The gunmen stormed the RCC [Regional Church Council] chairman’s residence, at about 10 p.m., shot and wounded the pastor’s wife, and killed one James Ngyang, a member of the church and security church worker, before they forcefully took away the pastor at gunpoint.”

On Sept. 12, the gunmen contacted the pastor’s family and demanded 20 million naira (US$46,650) for his release.

On Sunday Sept. 18, Muslim Fulani killed three Christians during a raid on a Christian village in Benue state, “after slaughtering at least 22 others in the same area in the past three weeks.”

Three days later, on Sept. 21, more machete-wielding Muslim herdsmen massacred 15 Christians in midnight raids on two Christian villages.

Two days after that, on Sept. 23, Fulani raided six predominantly Christian villages in the same region of Benue state.  “These attacks by the herdsmen have left dozens of Christians dead and several more with gunshot injuries and machete attack wounds,” area resident Ukan Kurugh said of this last attack.  Similarly, the Rev. Akpen Leva, chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Benue State Chapter, added in a press statement that attacks against Christians “have been ceaseless”:

“Armed herdsmen and terrorists have not stopped their unprovoked attacks on Christians in Benue state.  These attacks are aimed at killing defenseless Christians and to force them out of their communities.”

In another targeted attack, machete-wielding Muslims hacked to death a 28-year-old Christian man, Samaila Sabo Awudu, who had recently graduated university with a biochemistry degree.  According to his brother,

“We were told by some of his colleagues, corps members, that a group of five armed Muslims attacked him when they broke into his residence at the NYSC lodge in Yola and cut him with machetes. He was taken by police officers who went there to the Federal Medical Centre, Yola, where he died.”

Before being hacked to death, Samaila was described as a committed church goer who had “lived an exemplary life, worthy of emulation,” said a pastor during his eulogy.

On Sept. 17, during an all-night prayer vigil inside the Cherubim and Seraphim Church in Suleja, Niger state, Muslim Fulani broke in and abducted dozens of Christians, including the pastor.  Less than one week earlier, 60 other Christians were abducted from the same denomination in another region of the country. Last reported, the terrorists had demanded exorbitant ransoms for some of the kidnapped.  Responding to these and other attacks, a statement from the Southern Kaduna Peoples Union said,

“There is still no breathing space for Christian communities in southern Kaduna, as terrorists, jihadists, bandits and armed herdsmen have continued to plunder and wreck Christian communities in the southern part of Kaduna state.”

On the evening of Sunday, Sept. 4 gunmen kidnapped dozens of Christians, including Steven Bala, the pastor’s son, who was taking care of a prayer house.

Muslim Attacks on Apostates

Australia:  The family of two related Muslim women who had converted to Christianity and fled what police described as an environment of “strict religious and cultural beliefs,” abducted and tortured the women, following a plot that required a “significant effort to orchestrate.”  After locating their new residence in Melbourne, the mother, brother, and cousin of one of the women broke in and waited for the women while they were away.  Then, according to the Sept. 16 report,

“As the women returned home later that evening, the cousin grabbed one of them from behind, covered her mouth and held a knife to her neck. Another relative grabbed the other woman by the hair, pulled her to the ground and held the other knife to her stomach, allegedly telling her: ‘You bitch, you think you can run away from home? I have a knife in my hand. Don’t move, don’t scream.’ At one point during the ordeal, the cousin allegedly ripped a gold cross necklace from around the neck of one of the women, who had converted from Islam to Christianity. The women were then bound, gagged, forced into the back of a car and driven back to Sydney, their wrists and mouths concealed by coats and face masks. Meanwhile, the father of one of the women drove a truck to Victoria and cleared the home of their belongings.”

Luckily for the kidnapped apostates, their ordeal, which began in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, “ended in western Sydney with police intercepting a car and freeing the women.”  Four of their Muslim relatives—three men and one woman whose identities were not revealed—were charged with kidnapping and assault.

Libya:  A Libyan court sentenced a young man to death for “apostasy from Islam.”  According to the Libyan al-Jumhiriyah channel, the verdict was issued against a man named Diya’ al-Din Bil’awa, who graduated from the College of Information Technology in 2018.  Diya’ was also described as a hafiz—one who had memorized the entire Koran—suggesting that he was a member of the Islamic clerical class, making his apostasy all the more scandalous.  According to the report, sometime in 2019, the accused was asked to retract his apostasy and rejoin the fold of Islam, but he refused to do so.  The apostasy law cited in the report was established in Libya’s penal code after the “Arab Spring” overthrow of Muamar Gaddafi, when “We [the U.S.] came, we saw, he died,” to quote then Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton.

Kenya: Muslim family members beat a Somali pastor of an underground fellowship, as well as his wife and child, for leaving Islam.  Weeks after he had received medical attention, the 33-year-old pastor (name withheld for security) developed a serious infection in his hand, where his father-in-law had beat him with a thorny stick. “This is a curse from Allah—if you return to Islam, then Allah will heal you,” local Muslims later told him. “The thorny stick used to hit part of my hand and shoulder could have been a poisonous one,” he believes, and one doctor has suggested amputation.  “At the moment, that part of my hand is numb and the veins are inactive.”  Meanwhile,

“All these three weeks while I’ve been sick, they have been pressuring my wife to divorce me and return to Islam. But my wife has stood with me. We really need prayers so that God will miraculously heal me and get me out of the hospital.”

His wife’s loyal perseverance has come at a price: “Two Muslim women stopped me while coming from the market near our house and slapped me and caused some bruises on my face,” she said.  “When I screamed, they ran away.”  Even the first of their four children, who is 8-years-old, was beaten by boys of Somali descent and received hospital treatment for injuries.

Uganda: A Muslim mob beat and destroyed the home of a Muslim father of four—aged 5, 8, 10, and 12—on learning that he had become a Christian.  On Sept 9, Muslims approached the home of 38-year-old Musa Wabwire.  Once they had confirmed he had become a Christian, and in Musa’s own words,

“[T]hey all got annoyed and flooded into my home and asked me many questions, which I failed to answer.  I only told them to take their money box [he used to serve as the local mosque’s treasurer], and that I be left with Christ, who was enough for me. They became so angry and started beating me up while shouting, ‘Kafir, Kafir [infidel]!’”

According to the report, “When he declined to renounce Christ, they flogged him 40 lashes with sticks.”  Musa’s older brother, an imam in a nearby village, ordered the destruction of his home and crops. “My belongings were thrown out in the rain and got all wet,” Musa said. “My brothers said that I should not be killed but instead leave the homestead.”

Separately, a Muslim man beat and abandoned his wife after he learned that she had become Christian.  On Sept. 10, Falida Nazziwa, 42, attended an all-night prayer vigil at a local church.  She had expected her husband to return late on the following day, but he returned on the morning of Sept. 11—just as the secret convert was returning home from church.  According to her,

“In the morning as I went back home, I found my husband very furious on the compound, and he asked about where I slept.  I told him the truth that I had gone for an overnight prayer in the church. After hearing the words ‘overnight prayer,’ he just jumped on my neck shouting, ‘Prayers, not in my house,’ and started beating and strangling me while shouting, ‘Allah akbar [God is greater]! Kafir, kafir [infidel]!’”

Some people who heard her cries rushed to rescue her, and she and her two younger children managed to escape her husband.   She received treatment at a medical clinic and has since taken refuge at an undisclosed location.

In yet another incident in Uganda, on Sept.16, Muslims attacked Shadia Namuzungu, a 52-year-old mother, two days after she put her faith in Christ following what she described as a miraculous healing.  When an imam confronted her about her healing and conversion, and she told him of her experiences, the “imam was left in disbelief and left without uttering a word,” Shadia said. “But the following day, he returned with six other Muslims. Four of them started to destroy my crops, killed my sheep and began to pull down my house.” Other Muslims beat her with sticks, kicked, and slapped her. They fled when neighbors began to arrive.  According to one of her neighbors, “Shadia started to faint. She had deep injuries on her back, both hands, stomach, legs and had swollen eyes.” After being hospitalized for several days she was still unable to walk.

Generic Muslim Hostility for Christians

Egypt: On Sept. 12, a Cairo appeals court confirmed a five years’ imprisonment sentence (with hard labor) for a young Christian man, Marco Guirguis Shehata, who is charged with “deriding Islam.” The accusation is based on “evidence” found on his smartphone, which Marco had said was stolen at the time. His father, a modest iron smith, in Kena, north of Luxor, and his entire family were reported as being “devastated” by the extremely harsh sentence.

Indonesia: On Sept. 15, a police general currently serving a jail sentence for corruption was handed another criminal conviction, as well as an additional five-and-a-half months prison time, for assaulting a former Muslim cleric who had converted to Christianity.  The incident occurred in 2021, when Muhammad Kosman was being detained at the National Police detention facility in Jakarta on the charge of blasphemy.  Then, the police general in question, who goes by the name of Napoleon Bonaparte, entered into the “blasphemer’s” cell with a plastic bag full of human feces and violently smeared it over Muhammad’s face. Napoleon confessed to the incident during his hearing, before adding  “Anyone can insult me, but not against my Allah, the Quran, the Prophet and my Islamic faith. Therefore, I swear I will take any measured action against anyone who dares to do so.”

Turkey: A young Muslim man claiming to be connected to the ultra-nationalist group made threats of murder to a Protestant church located in Malatya province—the same province where three Christian missionaries were tortured to death in 2007.  According to the man, the Gendarmerie Intelligence and Anti-terror Unit (JITEM) approached him with addresses and photos of church members, and told him “if you kill them, we will give you whatever you want.” According to the Sept. 8 report, they then “gave him a gun and sent him to the church with a friend, but when they saw a little boy playing with a computer inside, they came back.”  Although the threat was averted, and the church provided with governmental protection, the report points out that,

“Malatya is notorious for a hideous murder of Christians who belonged to the Salvation Church of which Serin [one of the Christians threatened] is a member. Two Turkish converts from Islam and a German citizen were attacked, tortured and murdered in a publishing house by five ultranationalists assailants on April 18, 2007. The murders became known as the missionary massacres in the Turkish media. After the killings, the publishing house was shut down and some Christians left the city or Turkey.”

Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Plays the Pope Like a Cheap Fiddle

Fresh steaming piles of cynical deception, Islamic proselytizing and leftist agitprop.

Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayyeb, who as grand imam of Cairo’s Al-Azhar is the foremost cleric in Sunni Islam, met up again with his pal Pope Francis in Bahrain on Friday and gave us one of the best episodes yet of their ongoing buddy-movie series. Whenever these two get together, they always serve up fresh steaming piles of cynical deception, Islamic proselytizing, and Leftist agitprop, and Friday’s episode was no different. In fact, it was one of the most outstanding examples yet of how Islamic leaders use interreligious dialogue to further their own ends, playing their naïve Christian counterparts for fools again and again.

At the Bahrain Forum for Dialogue, according to Church Militant, al-Tayyeb asserted that “what is said and promoted from time to time about the institution of war in Islam against the infidels is not true. Indeed, it is a real lie about Islam and the life of its prophet, even if this is affirmed by some followers of the same religion, a religion that is based on evidence and testimony, not on ambiguity and lies.” The “lie” that al-Tayyeb had in mind was the readily demonstrable proposition that Islam is the only major world religion that has a developed doctrine involving warfare against the subjugation of unbelievers. Despite statements to that effect from numerous Muslim clerics and the undeniable evidence of over 42,000 violent jihad attacks worldwide since 9/11, al-Tayyeb insisted that it was all a misunderstanding.

We have, of course, heard this song before, and al-Tayyeb was aware of that, telling the pope: “I hope you are not bored with the constant claims that Islam is a religion of peace and equality.” Pope Francis, of course, was just the opposite of bored. He can’t get enough of that sort of thing, as back in 2013 he himself declared, with imperviousness to facts and evidence that was truly breathtaking, that “authentic Islam and the proper reading of the Koran are opposed to every form of violence.”

Why is this so hard for Westerners to grasp? Well, it’s largely because it isn’t remotely true, but as far as al-Tayyeb was concerned, it was because Muslim scholars have been less than “diligent in letting Westerners know about true Islam.” He said that they should “continue to highlight what Islam encompasses in terms of lofty ideals, human brotherhood and cooperation, and other commonalities that the West and East agree on and welcome.” Yeah, good idea. Maybe he can explain where exactly the Qur’an calls for “human brotherhood and cooperation” with non-Muslims, whom the Islamic holy book calls “the most vile of created beings” (98:6).

Al-Tayyeb didn’t get close to dealing with that Qur’an verse and others like it. He was too busy playing to his audience, knowing that a doctrinaire Leftist such as Pope Francis would be thrilled to hear about how the Big Bad West could learn from the wise, benign, serene East: “Western culture should not be represented as the only civilized society and as the standard for judging other cultures. Any interference with other cultures is an abuse of power. The West needs the wisdom of the East, its religious and moral values upon which its people were raised, as well as its balanced view of man, the universe, and our Creator,” so as “not to be blinded by putting the ephemeral before the eternal.”

Church Militant notes that “while Pope Francis did not make any explicit reference to the Triune God or the Holy Bible, the highest-ranking cleric in the Sunni-Muslim world introduced and ended his address with an Islamic blessing and unapologetically quoted the Quran several times in his text.” At one point, al-Tayyeb asked: “What is the relationship between people according to the philosophy of the Qur’an? The only way to make this relationship work is knowledge, which is how Allah has established the interactions and relationships between people. The Qur’an says it clearly: ‘O humanity! Indeed, we created you from a male and a female, and made you into peoples and tribes so that you may get to know one another. Surely, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous among you. Allah is truly All-Knowing, All-Aware,’ (Qur’an 49:13).”

Gee, that sounds great, but unfortunately, it is not even close to being the Qur’an’s last or only word on such matters. As I told Church Militant, Al-Tayyeb’s statements demonstrated yet again that for all too many Islamic leaders, if not all, interreligious dialogue is a vehicle for dawah, Islamic proselytizing, not genuine give-and-take. His copious quotations from the Qur’an, while Francis fastidiously refrained from quoting the Bible, show once again how one-sided this “dialogue” really is: the self-abnegation and deference are all on the Christian side, while the Muslim side retains a resolute self-awareness and doesn’t move toward the other side even an inch.

Meanwhile, al-Tayyeb’s exposition of Islam was highly inaccurate and misleading; among the many salient Qur’an passages he did not quote are “Fight them until there is no more persecution and religion is all for Allah” (8:39), which is an open-ended declaration of war against unbelievers, and “Muhammad is the apostle of Allah. Those who follow him are ruthless to unbelievers, merciful to one another” (48:29), which belies claims he made about Islam teaching that “peace and knowledge” should guide relationships between people. Even if he knew how deceptive al-Tayyeb was being, which he almost certainly did not, Francis wouldn’t have dreamed of contradicting him publicly or asking him any pointed questions. He willingly and happily played the useful idiot and dhimmi.

That’s the state of interfaith dialogue in this enlightened year 2022.

With Accounts in 11 Languages, Iran’s Ayatollah Continues to Use Twitter to Spread Anti-US Views

(CNSNews.com) – Amid concern in mostly liberal quarters that Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter will amplify harmful content, Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Sunday again used the platform – as he has done for years – to spread anti-America sentiment to his well over one million followers.

In a series of tweets, Khamenei highlighted excerpts of a speech he gave last week, saying, among other things:

--that “the isolation of U.S.” will be one of the main elements of the changing world order

--that political, economic, cultural and scientific power are shifting “from the West to Asia”

--that the U.S. “will be forced to end its presence across the globe” including at military bases in Asia, Europe and the Middle East

As he delivered the speech in question – marking “the National Day of Fighting Global Arrogance,” the anniversary of the 1979 takeover of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran – students in Khamenei’s audience began chanting “Death to America.”

Khamenei then responded – as highlighted in one of his Sunday tweets – as follows:

“Some say when you chant ‘Down with the U.S.,’ this causes the U.S. to become hostile toward you. But no! No one was chanting ‘Down with the U.S.’ in 1953 when the U.S. toppled a government in Iran that had been elected by the people. But they inflicted the blow they had in mind.”

(The actual chant in Farsi was “Mag bar, Amreeka” which translates “Death to America,” although Khamenei in his English-language tweet used the less incendiary phrase, “Down with the U.S.”)

Khamenei and other senior regime figures in Tehran have long used Twitter to disseminate their views, as have representatives and ministries of other regimes hostile to the U.S., including China, Russia, Cuba, Belarus, and the Maduro regime.

While Twitter in some cases draws attention to their affiliation or otherwise reacts, in others it does not.

For example, notorious tweets in 2020 by a Chinese foreign ministry spokesman spreading conspiracy theories linking the U.S. military to the coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan were later given “Get the facts about COVID-19” links. But tweets by Khamenei calling the U.S. “Satan” and describing Israel as America’s “chained dog” still appear, with no Twitter intervention or comment.

Regimes antagonistic towards the U.S. continued to use Twitter even after the company’s consequential decision to suspend then-President Trump’s account permanently following the January 6, 2021 breach of the U.S. Capitol.

After purchasing Twitter, Musk pledged not to reinstate suspended accounts until a clear review process has been put in place. How Musk-owned Twitter deals such as Khamenei’s use of its platform remains to be seen.

Iran’s supreme leader today has Twitter accounts in at least 11 languages, ranging from the most popular in English (939,000 followers) to the least, in Urdu (just 953 followers).

Together, his accounts in English, Farsi, Arabic, French, Spanish, Russian, Turkish, Hindi, Italian, German, and Urdu reach a total of 1.97 million followers, up from 1.71 million last February, from 1.25 million in mid-2020, and from 830,000 in November 2019.

Other regime figures in Iran with sizeable Twitter followings include President Ebrahim Raisi (199,300 followers, up from 107,000 last February); Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian (146,500 followers, up from 86,000 in February); former President Hassan Rouhani (1.1 million), former Foreign Minister Javad Zarif (1.6 million) and former President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (148,000).

Amirabdollahian, Zarif, Rouhani and Ahmadinejad have Twitter blue-tick verification. Raisi and Khamenei do not.

(A new service now being rolled out will enable any Twitter user to get the blue checkmark for a $7.99 monthly subscription fee.)

U.N. ‘concern and apprehension’

On Saturday, the United Nations’ newly-appointed High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk, sent an open letter to Musk, voicing concern about how his ownership may affect Twitter.

“Twitter is part of a global revolution that has transformed how we communicate. But I write with concern and apprehension about our digital public square and Twitter’s role in it,” wrote Türk, an Austrian national who has held several senior U.N. posts.

“I urge you to ensure human rights are central to the management of Twitter under your leadership,” he said. “Reports that Twitter’s entire human rights team and all but two of its ethical AI [artificial intelligence] team have been fired this week are not, from my perspective, an encouraging start.”

Türk offered six “fundamental principles from a human rights perspective that need to be front and center in the management of Twitter.”

They include the need to “protect free speech across the globe” but at the same time “avoid amplifying content that results in harm to other people’s rights.”

There is no place for hatred that incites discrimination, hostility or violence on Twitter,” he wrote. “Spread of hate speech on social media has had horrific consequences for thousands. Twitter’s content moderation policies should continue to bar such hatred on the platform.”

“Twitter has much to offer to our common agenda for a better world, but we need to be clear-eyed as to what is required to make that reality,” Türk concluded. “In a world as complex as ours has become, our shared human rights offer a unifying way forward. We look forward to working with you.”

The deal had provided Tehran with billions of dollars in sanctions relief in exchange for the country agreeing to roll back its nuclear program.

(CNSNews.com) – Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Wednesday accused the U.S., Israel, and other enemies of mounting “hybrid warfare” against the Islamic Republic, as the Biden administration threw its support behind a campaign to expel Iran from the U.N.’s top gender equality body.

In a speech to students, Khamenei said in reference to protests roiling Iran that “the events that took place these past few weeks were not merely street riots.”

“They were detailed plots,” he said. “The enemy initiated hybrid warfare. The enemy, namely the United States, the Zionist regime, some insidious and malicious European powers, and some groups, came to the scene with all of their capabilities.”

The regime’s news agency IRNA accused U.S. officials of riding “a wave of Iranian youths’ emotions” in a bid to “realize their hidden goals.”

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) intelligence division earlier alleged that the CIA and Israel’s Mossad, closely cooperating with British and Saudi intelligence services and “reactionary proxies,” were playing a key role in provoking the unrest, “with the aim of committing a crime against the great nation of Iran and the country’s territorial integrity.”

The U.S. government has publicly expressed support for Iranians protesting against the regime, a movement sparked seven weeks ago by the death in custody of a young woman arrested for not complying with mandatory hijab rules.

But administration officials dispute that it supports “regime change.”

“We’re not pushing for the downfall of the Iranian government,” U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Linda Thomas-Greenfield said in an interview with BBC Persian on Wednesday. “The people of Iran are speaking, and we are supporting their efforts to peacefully demonstrate against what their government is doing to them.”

“It is not up to the United States to determine any government, which government is in power in any particular country,” State Department spokesman Ned Price said on Tuesday when asked if the administration “supports a regime change or change in government in Iran.”

“That applies to Iran,” Price said. “This is a decision for the people of Iran.”

On Wednesday, the U.S. co-hosted an informal U.N. Security Council meeting to hear from Iranian women’s rights advocates, and announced that the U.S. will lead efforts to expel Iran from the U.N.’s Commission on the Status of Women (CSW).

Iran is serving a four-year term on “the world’s leading intergovernmental body exclusively dedicated to the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women,” after winning a secret ballot election in New York in April last year with the support of some liberal democracies.

Its election onto the CSW was slammed at the time by rights advocates. After the outbreak of protests and a harsh regime crackdown that has cost hundreds of lives a campaign to undo the move pick up steam, drawing support especially from high-profile women including former U.S. first ladies.

“The [CSW] cannot do its work when it is being undermined from within,” Thomas-Greenfield said during the Security Council meeting. “Iran’s membership is an ugly stain on the Commission’s credibility. In our view, it cannot stand.”

‘From theocracy to representative government’

During the meeting, Iranian-born actor and human rights advocate Nazanin Boniadi said the scale of rights abuses in Iran was a symptom of “a government considered illegitimate by its own people.”

She addressed what she said were two “myths” about the country – that hijab wearing is a “cultural” norm that shouldn’t be interfered with, and that the Islamic regime can be reformed.

“Where schoolgirls are defying a lifetime of indoctrination by rising up in classrooms, and people are taking to the streets in their tens of thousands to protest something despite the risk of death at the hands of the authorities, you can safely assume that’s not part of their culture,” she said.

“Another myth is that this regime is reformable,” Boniadi said.

“Elections in Iran are theater,” she said, adding that the rise to the presidency of Ebrahim Raisi, “a pillar of the oppressive state, implicated in crimes against humanity … is proof enough that a culture of impunity reigns supreme in Iran and that the theocracy is impervious to reform.”

Pointing to malign regime activities beyond its borders, Boniadi said that “the potential for the current protests to transform Iran from theocracy to representative government could be a geopolitical game-changer, and the single most important key to bringing about stability in the Middle East.”

The Iranian people want the international community “to stop turning a blind eye to their suffering in order to fulfil our own political objectives,” she said.

“For decades we’ve only responded to the symptoms of the Islamic Republic’s hostile activities, with a focus on countering Iran’s nuclear ambitions and regional aggression,” she said. “But in order to address the cause, we must commit ourselves to intelligently supporting the Iranian people’s democratic aspirations.”

Seated behind Boniadi as she spoke was Rob Malley, the administration’s point man in its diplomatic efforts to revive the Obama-era Iran nuclear deal, which President Trump exited in 2018.

Kayhan, a newspaper whose editor is appointed by and serves as an advisor to Khamenei, lashed out at what it called U.S. efforts to tarnish Iran’s image “through scattered incidents of riots in a few localities.”

“Its team of thugs, tricksters, terrorists, and traitors that include a handful of characterless women, have been ordered to indulge in arson, vandalism, murder, blasphemy, and obscene acts in public, accompanied by shouting of the weirdest of slogans against Islam and the Islamic Republic,” it said.

“Iran is the country of the virtuous and vigilant Muslim masses adhering to the Holy Qur’an,” Kayhan said. “So no-one in his or her wildest dreams can undermine the solid foundations of the Islamic Republic.”

A Tale of Two Islamic States

One is liberalizing, the other is massacring its people. Can you guess which one Biden is aiding - and the one he's pushing away?

25

Biden and the woke Democrats have enthralled themselves in a bizarre love affair with the Mullahs in Iran, while repelling energy and capital giant Saudi Arabia.

The strategic imbecility of this position amounts to geopolitical malpractice. It has emboldened the Iranian regime to murder Americans around the world, including threatened attacks against our former president and members of his administration, and to ruthlessly suppress dissent at home.

It also has driven the Saudis into the arms of Russia and Communist China, a consequence so avoidable to be simply idiotic.

Scratch your head all you wish: you will not find a rational explanation for such a policy because there is none.

Such is the World According to Joe.

Where are the feminists and the Woke Left when Iranian women and girls throw off their head-scarves and taunt the Islamo-fascist storm troopers linking elbows in the streets? Where are Joy Reid, Kamala Harris, or Sandy “AOC” Cortez? Instead of supporting the Iranian Revolution of 2022, they are shrieking at “Mega Maga Republicans” as the enemies of –uh– people-kind.

But the Woke Left doesn’t just tacitly support the murdering mullahs of Tehran. Before Elon Musk walked into Twitter headquarters last Thursday with his kitchen sink, the faceless brown-shirted “moderators” at Twitter suspended the account of an Iranian hactivist group called “Black Reward,” while maintaining the anti-Semitic hate-America rants of the Supreme Turban, phony ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

What was Black_Reward’s cardinal sin? They hacked into the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran and posted on-line 50 GB of data, including internal emails detailing how the Iranian regime was lying to international nuclear inspectors as it secretly developed nuclear weapons.

Exposing the Mullahs’ marathon crawl to nuclear weapons must be hate speech. Just ask Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump.

Neddy Price, the State Department spokesman, still refuses to close the door on a new Iran nuclear “deal,” even though it’s crystal clear to anyone paying attention that showering a murderous regime with tens of billions of dollars and allowing them to continue their nuclear projects with the help of Western technology will lead to war – a real war, not a liberal war of words.

Since taking office on January 20, 2021, Biden and his B-Team of deep state imbeciles have twisted themselves into pretzels to cajole the Mullahs into a new nuclear deal, even offering at one point to remove the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and its leaders from the State Department terrorist list (a bridge too far even for Congressional Democrats and quickly walked back).

They waived Trump-era sanctions on the Iranian oil sector in July 2021, allowing the regime to profit from higher oil prices brought about by Team Biden’s war on fossil fuels. Former Trump administration national security director for countering Iranian weapons of mass destruction, Richard Goldberg, called the waiver “a bailout, plain and simple.”

Contrast this love affair with the Iranian regime — and apparent disdain for the wishes and aspirations of the Iranian people — with B-Team Biden’s war on Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, MBS.

By now, every American knows Salman’s cardinal sin, because the Woke Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) drum it into us whenever they report on the Saudis. MBS ordered the gruesome October 2018 murder of heroic dissident journalist Jamal Kashoggi. How do we know this? Why, Biden’s CIA told us so.

The problem, of course, is that Biden’s CIA dearly wanted to make the case that MBS ordered the Khashoggi murder, but even they couldn’t go that far, saying instead that they “assessed” that MBS ordered the murder because it was “highly unlikely” anyone would carry out such an operation without his authorization.

In other words, they kinda felt MBS must be guilty, because they really really didn’t like him, but didn’t have any evidence or even whispered lies to prove it.

Don’t get me wrong: Mohammad bin Salman is no angel, let alone a Thomas Jefferson. But neither was Khashoggi. A self-avowed devotee of the Muslim Brotherhood and admirer of Osama bin Laden, he became beloved of the chattering class because he put his name on opinion pieces in the Bezos Post dreamed up and heavily edited by an unregistered lobbyist for the Government of Qatar.

That isn’t my opinion, but information revealed by New York Times scribe Ben Hubbard, whose 2020 book-length attack named after MBS was remarkably candid about Khashoggi’s (and the WAPO’s) corrupt behavior. The lobbyist, Maggie Mitchell Salem, “was serving as [Khashoggi’s] de facto agent, advisor, and editor while on the payroll of a country the Saudis consider an enemy,” he writes on page 205.

And yet, even his detractors begrudingly award Mohammad bin Salman a reputation for being a reformer. “His lifestyle changes have been a smash-hit with the under-30s generation of Saudi Arabia, some 70% of the kingdom’s citizens, and his ambition to transform the country into a modern technological leader has ignited the imagination of youth,” former British diplomat John Dobson writes in the Guardian newspaper.

In November 2017, less than five months after he was named Crown Prince, MBS had the royal palace summon hundreds of the wealthiest men in the Kingdom for private meetings with the King, including such powerful luminaries as Al-Waleed bin Talal, partial owner of Fox News. Thinking they were about to receive some royal favor, they all accepted the invitation – and were immediately escorted to the Ritz Carlton hotel in Riyadh where they were kept under house arrest in luxury suites for weeks.

According to Hubbard’s account, they were interrogated “about corrupt deals they were accused of having been part of or privy to and confront[ed] with documents said to show their complicity.” (p195). MBS then robbed them of hundreds of billions of dollars they had plundered from the Saudi state.

He also fired the head of the Saudi Arabian National Guard, the Minister of Economy and Planning, and the commander of the Royal Navy. This was after he defanged the Kingdom’s Wahhabi clerics and made clear they could no longer dictate social policy or preach political Islam in the mosque.

Imagine if Donald Trump had done something similar in, say, June 2017, summoning the heads of the CIA, the FBI, the Directorate of National Intelligence, the NSA, the State Department, the CDC, and yes, even Dr. Fauci’s National Institute for Allergies and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), and then locked them up in private rooms in the Trump International Hotel while he proceeded to strip them of their security clearances and their Personal Identity Verification (PIV) cards?

Once word leaked out of the arrests, the US media and their allies in the Deep State turned viciously on the Crown Prince. A former U.S. diplomat, quoted anonymously by NBC News, called it “a shakedown operation and a power consolidation operation.”

MBS had succeeded in defanging his own version of the Deep State – apparently, forever. And now he is focused on what he calls Vision 2030, his plan to reform the Saudi economy, weaning it away from all oil and government domination.

Just think of it: while Iran’s Mullahs are murdering women and girls for doffing their head-scarves, MBS is encouraging Saudi women to drive cars and become money-managers.

MBS has also signaled his desire to eventually join the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain in the Abraham Accords, making peace officially with the State of Israel. Already, he has removed restrictions on Israeli commercial aircraft so they can overfly the Kingdom en route to the Gulf sheikdoms.

Ayatollah Khamenei would probably die of heart failure the day Israeli planes flew over Tehran.

I think I know which potentate I would cultivate, and it’s not Khamenei — but then, I’m not a Democrat.

In Iran, stonings and beatings create a necropolis for the living

In 2007, a very disturbing video was smuggled out of the Islamic Republic in Iran, recording the stoning of a number of Iranians.

Watching the video is extremely upsetting.

The disturbing video begins with a lashing of one person. After that, Hojjatoleslam Ali Razini, who was the head of Tehran's judiciary at the time, announced the verdict for the accused men on the amplifier. They were brought to the center of an arena like lambs to the slaughter, surrounded by a baying crowd of fanatics, who had scavenged rocks to use as weapons, and drooled like bloodthirsty wolves for their first kill. The condemned men were covered in white shrouds, as men with spades dug and filled their death pits around them.

Half buried in the pits, Razini threw the first stone at the accused – as if he were giving the Roman thumbs down. The four men, who were buried up to their waists, could only aimlessly try and attempt to somehow avoid the avalanche of rocks, but like prey caught in a trap, they could not avoid the inevitable. Soon their white shrouds were broken open and reddened with the color that symbolizes the character of the Islamic regime occupying Iran.

Stoning is an age-old ancient punishment, but who would ever think that today, in this new Millennium that there are still people on the planet who are forced to live under such barbaric and brutal laws?

However, cases of stoning to death, prescribed in Islamic canons for certain offenses, are in widespread practice. In October 2004, a 13-year-old child was stoned to death in Marivan, Iran. She had been accused of a “moral sin” by falling pregnant.

The video featured male victims, but this outrage is indicative of a second problem well beyond the barbaric punishment itself: That women and girls are more often targets.

This is not as widely publicized as it should be. Even though the practice is applied to both men and women, because stoning is usually a punishment implemented against offenses such as adultery, women are more likely to be blamed and accused of such social misbehavior offenses.

Thirteen-year-old Jila’s horrific murder follows the death of 16-year-old Atabeh Rajabi, who was executed on August 15, 2004, for “engaging in acts incompatible with chastity.” Atabeh was refused a defense attorney in court. During an appearance in court, Atabeh bravely defied the adjudicator who sat in judgment of her and in doing so, the sociopathic judge sentenced her to death by hanging and personally volunteered to help with the noose. The free world stood by in silence and did nothing.

Fast forward to Sept. 16, 2022, the unjust arrest of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini for the "crime" of improper hijab attire.

Mahsa was so brutally abused and beaten while in custody, that she eventually died while in a coma.

In its sixth consecutive week, Mahsa’s death has unleashed the anger of the Iranian people in what can only be defined as an uprising against the clerical regime such as has never been seen before, as well as the first ever female-led revolution.

Fearless Iranian women and teenage girls are disobeying the clerics by removing and burning their headscarves while courageous Iranian men proudly stand defiantly strong by their side against the brutal regime’s forces with the slogan: “Zan, Zendegi, Azadi,” meaning, “Woman, Life, Freedom.”

This grassroots movement has taken the world by surprise is the antithesis of the Islamic Republic’s ethos.

Now teenage girls are burning posters of the so-called supreme leader Ali Khamenei and shouting “Death to Khamenei” and “We want regime change,” while risking their lives to do so.

Countless people have been killed, including children in these protests.

Never before in the history of women, anywhere, in any timeline has there ever been a female-led revolution, where the women have faced such a dangerous and brutal enemy. Not even the women’s suffrage movement had to endure such threats. It cannot be denied this is historic and unprecedented.

So, this begs a question as to why the Western world is not demanding those responsible to be tried for crimes against humanity?

The Islamic Republic in Iran is a signatory of Article 5 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the United Nations Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women.

To add insult to injury, the regime's minions are sitting members of the United Nations Commission on Women’s Rights. It is debatable as to whether this is more a reflection of the Western world’s lack of integrity or the audacity of the clerical regime. The world's democratic leaders must surely give thought as to whether they can rightly carry on "business as usual" with the Islamic Republic, given Iran's clear desecrations of human rights.

Contrary to what is frequently said, dialogue with the Islamic Republic has not improved the human rights situation – quite the reverse.

But nobody can ignore the demands of the Iranian people.

In reality, today’s human rights abuses are the cause of tomorrow’s conflicts.

Facing a collapsing economy and social uprising, the ruling mullahs have always responded with intensified oppression. A government that collaborates with such a regime is neither ethical nor principled. They should have no business cooperating with such a regime and no business interests can justify such involvement. No resolution, however diplomatically it is drafted, can deny the fact that the people of Iran live in terror.

Under the standards of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, can one argue that the Iranian people are not entitled to them? In the wonderful civilization that we enjoy in the West, it is difficult to understand how any civilized government can have dealings with an illegitimate regime that executes its own defenseless people, including women and children who effectively live in a necropolis for the living.  Ignoring such crimes is a stain on the free world.

Hamas-Linked CAIR Calls for Hate Crime Charges in Marion, Iowa

About something that has nothing to do with Islam.

The arrest of two young men in Marion, Iowa for vandalism has caught the attention of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

ABC affiliate KCRG showed images of swastikas spray-painted on several windows. The letters “KKK” were also reported to have been spray-painted. Despite this, there seems to have been no ideological motive for the two 19-year-olds’ actions. Indeed, the Marion police are not charging the two with any kind of hate crime, and made the following statement.

While hate speech and racist graffiti are vile and despicable, they do not constitute a [hate] crime unless other factors are present. That includes targeting a specific person or group.

News anchor Nicole Agee tells us that “the nation’s largest civil rights organization” (yes, you read that correctly) is “not buying that.”

We then CAIR’s Deputy Director, Edward Ahmed Mitchell, saying:

If vandalizing property and causing thousands of dollars in damage while spray-painting Nazi swastikas does not constitute a hate crime under Iowa law, Iowa law needs to change.

Besides telling us that CAIR is “the nation’s largest civil rights organization,” KCRG gives no explanation of who this group is or on what basis  it can dictate terms to the state of Iowa. In fact, one has the impression that KCRG considers reporting CAIR’s statement to be a righteous act.

But here yet again, there is no explanation of why CAIR is getting involved in something that has nothing to do with Muslims or Islam. However, to those paying attention to the broader context of CAIR’s nationwide TV news appearances, the answer is clear.

CAIR is getting involved because the vandals are white. And CAIR has taken it upon themselves to be the scourge of white people in America.

One more time:

  • CAIR hates white people.
  • CAIR reps talk about how much they hate them.
  • Well over 90% of the people CAIR attacks on TV are white.
  • There are over 100 examples of their televised attacks, which have been going on for almost six years.

TV stations are complicit in all this.

  • Here is KCRG giving voice to CAIR’s nominal executive director, Miriam Amir. I say nominal because the CAIR’s Iowa branch doesn’t seem to have a website. But Ms. Amir is also an official of the Muslim American Society, the chief arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in America.
  • Here is CAIR’s National Communications Director defending the virulently anti-white, anti-American 1619 Project on a KCRG broadcast.

If the targeting of an individual or a group constitutes a hate crime, then CAIR must be considered a serial hate criminal which is given support by the mainstream media.

This is the first CAIR TV attack this month and the 29th of the year.

In time for Halloween, the message is that CAIR will continue to gain social capital, prestige, and legitimacy until it succeeds in changing the laws of Iowa and the country. CAIR will achieve their goal unless people begin to oppose its efforts.

“Third teen arrested, charged in July burglary, vandalism case in Marion,” KCRG, October 28, 2022:

MARION, Iowa (KCRG) – A third teen has been arrested and charged for his alleged participation in a series of burglaries and vandalism in July.

Police on Friday said they arrested 18-year-old Koda Holst, from Cedar Rapids….

Police also arrested Gary Jacobsen III, 19, of Cedar Rapids, and Zane Wilcox-Thomas, 19, of Marion, on Wednesday in connection to the crimes….

In a press release, police said some of the graffiti included swastika symbols, the words “I am a Nazi,” and “KKK.” The total damage is estimated at more than $10,000….

“This matter was thoroughly investigated to determine if a hate crime was committed but no evidence was uncovered to support hate crime allegations or warrant the filing of additional charges,” police said in a press release.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization urged prosecutors to review the case again to determine whether hate crime charges can be brought against the suspects.

Islamic State Claims Responsibility for Attack on Iranian Shiite Shrine

Islamic State terrorists on Wednesday claimed responsibility for a gun attack on Shiite Muslim pilgrims at a shrine in the southern city of Shiraz.

The Iranian regime vowed revenge for the massacre, which killed at least 15 and wounded 19 others. The regime linked the ISIS attack to the massive protests that have swept Iran over the past two months, sparked by the killing of a young woman for allegedly violating the oppressive hijab law.

According to conflicting accounts from local media and the Iranian judiciary, between one and three gunmen opened fire during Wednesday evening prayers at the Shah Cheragh mausoleum, a mosque constructed in the 12th century that contains the tombs of two fabled Shiite martyrs. The mosque, whose name translates to “King of the Light,” is a spectacular example of architecture and a major tourist attraction, in addition to being a center of worship.

Iranian media stated the attacker or attackers entered the shrine and “fired indiscriminately on worshipers” until they were captured by police. The reports implied at least one assailant is alive, in custody, and apparently resisting interrogation efforts.

Eyewitnesses said they heard women screaming during the attack, and media photos showed the bodies of two children and a woman among the dead.

The National on Thursday provided an account of the attack based on security camera footage:

CCTV footage broadcast on state TV on Thursday showed the attacker entering the shrine after hiding an assault rifle in a bag and shooting as worshippers tried to flee and hide in corridors. The semi-official Tasnim news agency said the attacker shot an employee at the shrine entrance before his rifle jammed and he was chased by bystanders.

He managed to unjam his weapon and opened fire on his pursuers, before entering a courtyard and shooting worshippers. Women and children were among the dead, according to the agency. “I heard sounds of gunfire after we prayed,” a witness told state TV. “We went to a room next to the shrine. This lowlife came and fired a barrage of shots.

“Then [the bullet] hit my arm and leg, it hit my wife’s back, but thank God my child was not hit. He is seven years old.”

Iranian officials quickly blamed the attack on “takfiri terrorists.” Takfiri, which essentially means “fake Muslim,” is a term the Iranian government frequently uses for Sunni Muslim militants, especially those belonging to ISIS.

A message posted on the Telegram encrypted messaging platform on Thursday by an account linked to Islamic State operatives claimed responsibility for the attack. The message credited an ISIS gunman with “killing at least 20 Shias and wounding dozens of others.”

Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei promised a “severe response” to the attack, while President Ebrahim Raisi said the crime would “definitely not go unanswered.”

“The security and law enforcement forces will teach a lesson to those who designed and carried out the attack,” Raisi vowed.

Raisi condemned the “enemies of Iran” who use “violence and terror” to “divide the united ranks of the nation,” which is disturbingly close to how his government talks about the Mahsa Amini protests.

Wednesday was the 40th day after Amini’s death at the hands of Iranian “morality police” for allegedly violating the hijab law. Day 40 is traditionally when a death is most strongly grieved and remembered under Shiite tradition, so thousands of protesters were on the streets doing just that, particularly in the Kurdish region from which Amini hailed.

Some Iranian officials went further in linking the Shiraz massacre to the Amini uprising, including Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who said the time has come for Tehran to act against “terrorists and foreign meddlers.” The regime claims foreign powers are orchestrating the anti-hijab protests.

“This crime made the sinister intentions of the promoters of terror and violence in Iran completely clear. There is reliable information that the enemies have drawn up a multilayered project to make Iran insecure,” Abdollahian said.

Iranian police reportedly used tear gas and live ammunition to fire on protesters in Amini’s home city of Saqqez on Wednesday, after thousands of mourners held a procession to the graveyard where the 22-year-old woman was buried. The mourners chanted, “Woman, Life, Freedom,” the semi-official slogan of the Amini uprising, “Down with traitors,” “Kurdistan will be the graveyard of fascists,” and “Death to the dictator,” meaning Ayatollah Khamenei.

Criminal with knife weapon threatening to stab

The West Turns its Back on Persecuted Christians, Embraces Radical Muslims

A look at the West’s highly discriminatory immigration system.

This article is reprinted from the Gatestone Institute.

Western authorities appear committed to discriminating against Christian, while welcoming Muslim, asylum seekers.

Most recently, Germany—which has taken in millions of refugees from the Muslim world, including un-vetted ones from Afghanistan—denied refuge to an Iranian convert to Christianity, even though his brother-in-law was imprisoned, tortured, and killed after converting in their native Iran.  Known by the initials “H.H.,” according to one report,

When H.H.’s asylum application was rejected by German authorities, he appealed to the Greifswald Administrative Court. The court dismissed H.H.’s case, declaring that it was “not particularly likely” that a Muslim would decide to become a Christian after his brother-in-law had been tortured and killed and his wife abused. It was more likely that the events described, if they had actually taken place, would have a deterrent effect on third parties,” [sic: not clear where quote begins] said the Administrative Court…..  This week, the European Court of Human Rights quickly declined to hear arguments in H.H’s defense, leaving him vulnerable to deportation to a country where religious conversion can carry a prison penalty.

Discussing Hassan’s case, Lidia Rieder, a legal officer at ADF International (Alliance Defending Freedom), said,

Iran is one of the most dangerous countries in the world for Christians, and converts are particularly at risk. In the last year, religious persecution has greatly worsened. So-called ‘religious deviants’ can be given prison sentences, national security charges are continuously used to target religious minorities. The courts in Germany must take this into account when processing asylum applications.

Germany and the European Court of Human Rights are hardly the only ones to deny refuge to or discriminate against persecuted Christians.  Over the years, many other Western entities have engaged in similar behavior.

Under the Obama presidency, particularly during the refugee crisis precipitated by the rise of the Islamic State (ISIS), the White House and State Department were accused of all sorts of discriminatory measures against Christians—to the point that a federal appellate court filed a lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security in late 2016.  In it, Judge Daniel expressed his “concern about the apparent lack of Syrian Christians as a part of immigrants from that country”:

Perhaps 10 percent of the population of Syria is Christian, and yet less than one-half of one percent of Syrian refugees admitted to the United States this year are Christian…. To date, there has not been a good explanation for this perplexing discrepancy.

The discrepancy in numbers was even more perplexing when examined in full context: Although the U.S. government had acknowledged that ISIS was committing genocide against Christians in Syria due solely to their religious identity, it took in only those who by definition were not in any way being targeted by ISIS—Sunni Muslims, of whom ISIS, a Sunni organization, identifies with and does not attack. Indeed, despite the fact that Sunnis were about 75 percent of Syria’s population, and Christians about 10 percent, 99 percent of those brought into America were Sunni Muslims, and less than 0.5 percent were Christian.

As CNS news noted in 2016, “Record 499 Syrian Refugees Admitted to US So Far in May Includes No Christians.” In other words, even if one were to operate under the assumption that refugee status should have been made available to all Syrians, regardless of religion, there should have been 20 times more Christians and about one-quarter fewer Sunnis granted refugee status under Obama.

A virtually identical situation prevailed in the United Kingdom. In 2019, The Times asserted that the UK “fails to give safe haven to Christians,” and “appears to discriminate in favour of Muslims” instead of Christians.

Once again, statistics confirm this allegation: “out of 4,850 Syrian refugees accepted for resettlement by the Home Office in 2017, only eleven were Christian, representing just 0.2% of all Syrian refugees accepted by the UK.”

At the time, Lord David Alton of Liverpool, a Life Peer in the House of Lords, wrote in a letter to Sajid Javid, the Muslim man who then headed the Home Office:

It is widely accepted that Christians, who constituted around 10 per cent of Syria’s pre-war population, were specifically targeted by jihadi rebels and continue to be at risk….  As last year’s statistics more than amply demonstrate, this [ratio imbalance between Muslim and Christian refugees taken in] is not a statistical blip. It shows a pattern of discrimination that the Government has a legal duty to take concrete steps to address.

As in the U.S., the discrimination became so flagrant that Lord George Carey sued the Home Office for being “institutionally biased” against Christian refugees and therefore complicit in what he called “the steady crucifixion of Middle East Christians.”

The discrimination persecuted Christian minorities face begins well before they reach Western nations.  As CBN News reported in 2019:

Christian Syrian refugees … have been blocked from getting help from the United Nations Refugee Agency, the UNHCR, by Muslim UN officials in Jordan. One of the refugees, Hasan, a Syrian convert to Christianity, told us in a phone call that Muslim UN camp officials ‘knew that we were Muslims and became Christians and they dealt with us with persecution and mockery. They didn’t let us into the office. They ignored our request.’ Hasan and his family are now in hiding, afraid that they will be arrested by Jordanian police, or even killed. Converting to Christianity is a serious crime in Jordan.

According to Timothy, a Jordanian Muslim who converted to Christianity, “All of the United Nations officials [apparently in Jordan], most of them, 99 percent, they are Muslims, and they were treating us as enemies.”

Paul Diamond, a British human rights lawyer, elaborated on this issue:

You have this absurd situation where the scheme is set up to help Syrian refugees and the people most in need, Christians who have been ‘genocided,’ they can’t even get into the U.N. camps to get the food. If you enter and say I am a Christian or convert, the Muslim U.N. guards will block you [from] getting in and laugh at you and mock you and even threaten you…. [saying]  ‘You shouldn’t have converted. You’re an idiot for converting. You get what you get,’ words to that effect.

This same mockery often greets those Christians who do reach Western nations.  The UK’s Home Office alone offers multiple examples.  In one instance, it ridiculed an Iranian female asylum seeker in her rejection letter by writing, “You affirmed in your AIR [Asylum Interview Record] that Jesus is your saviour, but then claimed that he would not be able to save you from the Iranian regime. It is therefore considered that you have no conviction in your faith and your belief in Jesus is half-hearted.”

She later said that whenever she responded to her Home Office interviewer, “he was either chuckling or maybe just kind of mocking when he was talking to me….  [H]e asked me why Jesus didn’t help you from the Iranian regime or Iranian authorities.”

“In my country,” she added, “if someone converts to Christianity their punishment is death or execution.”

Similarly, in his rejection letter from the Home Office, another Muslim convert to Christianity was told that several biblical passages were “inconsistent” with his claim to have converted to Christianity because he had discovered it was a “peaceful” faith.  The letter went so far as to cite biblical passages—including from Exodus, Leviticus, Matthew, and Revelation—to argue that the Bible is violent, before concluding: “These examples are inconsistent with your claim that you converted to Christianity after discovering it is a ‘peaceful’ religion, as opposed to Islam which contains violence, rage and revenge.”

In yet another example, the UK’s Home Office not only denied entry to three Christian leaders—archbishops celebrated for their heroic efforts at aiding persecuted Christians in Syria and Iraq who had been invited to attend the consecration of the UK’s first Syriac Cathedral, an event attended by then-Prince Charles—but also mockingly told them there was “no room at the inn.”

Even in the most recent case—that of H.H., the aforementioned Iranian man who was denied asylum in Germany—a hint of ridicule was evident in the authorities’ conclusion: he must have been lying, they reasoned, since apparently no sane person would convert to or remain Christian after seeing a relative murdered for the same reason.

Meanwhile, it cannot be emphasized enough that, while the few Christians who seek asylum are highly scrutinized and given a hard time, millions of Muslim asylum seekers were taken into the West without question or hassle—most without even being vetted at all.

The same Germany to deny and send H.H. back to torture and possible death in Iran took in over a million Muslim migrants in 2015 and, after H.H. had applied, ten thousand non-vetted Afghans in 2021—even though Afghanistan is arguably the most hostile nation to Christians.  Again, these are all people who, by definition, could not have experienced religious persecution back home as they themselves are Muslim—not to mention that many of them share in the Taliban’s penchant for violence and extremism.

Similarly, under the Biden administration—which has further been accused of willfully preventing Christian minorities from escaping Afghanistan—over 74,000 non-vetted Afghans were granted asylum into America in 2022, and many of them, too, have brought with them the behavior they were reportedly escaping.

As for the UK’s Home Office, despite having no papers on him—and despite telling the Home Office that “he had been trained as an ISIS soldier”—Ahmed Hassan was still granted asylum two years before he launched a terrorist attack on a London train station that left 30 injured in September 2017.  The Home Office also allowed a foreign Muslim cleric to enter and lecture in London, even though he advocated decapitating, burning, and/or throwing homosexuals from cliffs.  According to another report, “British teenagers are being forced to marry abroad and are raped and impregnated while the Home Office ‘turns a blind eye’ by handing visas to their [mostly Muslim] husbands.”

The case of Asia Bibi—a Christian wife and mother of five who spent a decade of her life on death row in Pakistan for challenging the authority of Muhammad—perhaps best sheds light on the immigration situation in the UK.  Although she was finally acquitted in November, 2018, once the Pakistanis of the UK learned that the UK was going to offer asylum to Asia Bibi, they rioted en masse.

As a result, then Prime Minister Theresa May personally blocked Bibi’s asylum application, “despite UK playing host to [Muslim] hijackers, extremists and rapists,” to quote from one headline.  In other words, the UK was openly allowing “asylum policy to be dictated to by a Pakistan mob,” reported the Guardian, “after it was confirmed it urged the Home Office not to grant Asia Bibi political asylum in the UK…”

Meanwhile, and as usual, the Home Office allowed a Pakistani cleric who celebrated the slaughter of a politician because he had defended Asia Bibi—a cleric deemed so extreme as to be banned from his native Pakistan—to enter and lecture in UK mosques.

Discussing how “visas were granted [by the Home Office] in July [2016] to two Pakistani Islamic leaders who have called for the killing of Christians accused of blasphemy,” Dr. Martin Parsons, a human rights activist, expressed his frustration: “It’s unbelievable that these persecuted Christians who come from the cradle of Christianity are being told there is no room at the inn, when the UK is offering a welcome to Islamists who persecute Christians.”

In short, when it comes to who is being granted asylum in the West, persecuted Christians need not apply, whereas extremist Muslims are welcomed with open arms.

Leftist Hijab-Wearing Boston Politician Tries to Hijack Iran’s Anti-Hijab Protests

Who is really more oppressed by the hijab?

There’s tone-deaf, and then there’s far-Left Boston City Councilor Tania Fernandes Anderson. Women are putting their lives on the line for the freedom not to wear hijab in the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Fernandes Anderson has come up with a novel way to honor them. She has proposed that Boston observe the birthday of Mahsa Amini, who was killed by Iranian security forces for not wearing her hijab properly, as Hijab Day. Yes, really.

According to a Sunday report in The Jerusalem Post, Fernandes Anderson, who is a hijab-wearing Sunni Muslim herself, “put forward a resolution … late last week, suggesting that Mahsa Amini’s birthday, September 23, should be recognized as Boston’s official Hijab Day, according to the official City of Boston.” Not surprisingly, Anderson’s proposal “has sparked considerable outrage.”

But Fernandes Anderson explains that it’s all about — what else? — “her worries regarding the rise of Islamophobia that surrounds hijab-wearing women in the US.” On Thursday, she explained before Boston’s City Council that she was actually in favor of the protestors: “For the past few weeks, people of good conscience a month or so from around the world have joined in the protest, the thousands across Iran demanding justice for Mahsa Amini, the 22-year-old Kurdish-Iranian woman who died after three days in custody of Iran’s notorious morality police after being accused of not properly covering her hair.” Yet despite admitting this, Anderson decided that the best way to honor these “people of conscience” was to celebrate the very symbol of their oppression that they’re rebelling against.

“These protests in the heart of Iran,” Fernandes Anderson continued, “have featured brave women burning their scarves and cutting their hair in the face of arrest, abuse, and in some cases, even death to show their solidarity with Amini’s family and their will for freedoms and access to a joyful life absence of suppression from an oppressive state.” That’s where Anderson came to her central point. It’s all about fighting against suppression from an oppressive state, you see. Apparently, she would have us believe that women who wear hijab in the United States are just as persecuted and oppressed as women who don’t wear hijab in Iran, and so the best way to honor Mahsa Amini is to celebrate what she died trying to get away from.

Fernandes Anderson emphasized that what she had in common with Mahsa Amini was that both were exercising their free choice: “I, an African woman, wear my scarf and put it in a bun. It’s simple. Mahsa Amini said, ‘I’ll just wrap it around. It’s not a big deal, it’s just a scarf.’ You see, whether I wear it or I don’t, it’s my choice.”

Yeah, no. Mahsa Amini did not actually have a choice. Iran’s morality police arrested her, and tortured and killed her, precisely because she had no choice. To claim to honor her by celebrating what led to her death is monstrous. Many on Twitter didn’t hesitate to tell Fernandes Anderson just what they thought of her proposal. One wrote, “Dear Tania, Do you realise Amini was killed for wearing Hijab improperly? What next..Declare a day as ‘Gun day’ to honour the VICTIMS of Gun violence?” Good idea. And as my PJ Media colleague Matt Margolis suggested, we could have a “Dahmer Day” to honor the victims of serial killers. Another Twitter user wrote bluntly to Anderson, “You better apologize to all Iranian people! Tania Fernandes Anderson is a shame for humanity!” A petition began circulating calling upon her to resign.

While the anger at Tania Fernandes Anderson is understandable, her bizarre proposal is also completely understandable. The protests in the Islamic Republic are a direct rebuke to the Left’s continual claims that women who wear hijab are doing so because they choose to do so, and that in wearing it, they’re threatened by racist MAGA-hat-wearing redneck yahoos who are anxious to demonstrate their “Islamophobia” by tearing the hijab off their heads. Such people don’t exist outside of the Left’s paranoid fantasies, and the Iranian protests show that the real oppressed people are not women who wear hijab in Western countries, but women who dare not to wear hijab in Sharia states. So Tania Fernandes Anderson tried to restore the Left’s damaged credibility by appropriating the protests in Iran and conflating them with the fictional oppression of hijabis in the United States. Give her points for imagination and audacity, if not for genuine compassion for the women who are facing prison and death to be free of the oppression she has freely chosen.

‘Allahu Akbar’ Knifeman With Deportation Order Arrested By French Police

A man already subject to a deportation order from France was arrested over the weekend in the commune of Saint-Etienne after he publicly yelled “Allahu akbar” in the street while carrying a knife.

The man, aged 31, was arrested on Saturday evening at around 8:40 pm as he was walking down the street in Saint-Etienne while carrying a knife and shouting “Allahu akbar.” As police approached the man and made an attempt to take him into custody he is said to have attacked the officers.

One of the officers was wounded in the attack, but not seriously. According to sources close to the investigation the man arrested, 31-year-old Oussama A., was already subject to a deportation order prior to the attack, broadcaster CNews reports.

The same day in the city of Bordeaux, another radical Islamic extremist was arrested in similar circumstances at around 6:30 pm that evening.

Police arrested a 21-year-old man who began shouting and praising the Islamic State terrorist group in the main shopping street of the city, Sainte-Catherine street. According to witnesses, the man shouted, “Join the Islamic State!” and “the throats of the disbelievers must be slaughtered.”

Police quickly arrested the 21-year-old and he was placed into custody pending charges of apology for terrorism. Following his arrest, the man’s home was searched but did not show any immediate signs of radicalisation, although reports claim that electronic devices were still being analysed.

In recent days, the issue of deportation orders not being fulfilled has become a major topic of discussion in France after the murder of a 12-year-old girl named Lola in Paris. It was later revealed that the Algerian woman suspected of raping and murdering the young girl was subject to a deportation order and should have left the country weeks prior to the alleged murder.

Several right-wing politicians had claimed that France is unable to fulfil between 88 and 90 per cent of the deportation orders currently in place but these claims were fact-checked by French media, who revealed the number was even higher at 93 to 94 per cent.

Afghan Migrant Who Raped Woman and Threw Her Down Mine Shaft Sentenced to ‘Life’

A Swedish court has found an Afghan migrant guilty of raping a woman and pushing her down a mine shaft, sentencing the 41-year-old to “life” for rape and attempted murder.

Afghan migrant Taher Amini was sentenced to “life” — actually likely to be 20 to 25 years, theoretically followed by deportation — by the Västmanland District Court on Friday after he raped a woman and threw her down a mine shaft in LÃ¥nggruvan outside Norberg in April.

Amini drove with the victim shortly before the incident and stated that he wanted to marry her, with the victim later theorising he was motivated by wanting a Swedish residency permit. He then took the victim to the wooded area and proceeded to rape her before throwing her down the mine shaft, Aftonbladet reports.

After noticing the victim had survived the fall into the nearly 80-foot-deep pit, he attempted to kill her twice by throwing rocks down the shaft.

Hours later, the woman was discovered by a passerby. The court said she would have likely died within a day if she had not been found, justifying the “life” sentence against the Afghan despite the fact the woman survived the ordeal.

“This, taken together with the plaintiff’s suffering and death anxiety, means that the penalty value of the attempted murder is very close to what would have applied if the plaintiff had died. Since the man is also convicted of aggravated rape, we have found that the penalty should be life imprisonment,” District Court Judge Johan Alvner stated.

Amini came to Sweden in 2015, during the height of the migrant crisis and the Swedish Migration Agency rejected his application two years later, ordering his deportation. The Afghan appealed the decision and was rejected again, and a court later ruled to not grant leave to appeal again — but he was still not actually removed from the country.

Amini is said to have been previously married with three children but his wife had been and is currently missing. The Afghan has denied killing his former wife and denied attempting to murder the woman he threw down the mine shaft.

His lawyer announced he will be appealing the verdict in the case — which is just the latest high-profile crime to involve an Afghan migrant perpetrator in Sweden.

One previous incident just one year ago saw another Afghan go on a mass stabbing spree in the town of Vetlanda, claiming he did so because a person angered him by saying God did not exist.

Another year prior, a 21-year-old murder victim was attacked by a trio of Afghan migrants — a man and his two sons — who chased him onto a bus and stabbed him around 99 times.

As Predicted, Mayorkas Grants Amnesty-Lite to Visa-Less Afghans

TPS designation was inevitable after last fall’s mass parole effort

By Robert Law on March 17, 2022

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas designated Afghanistan for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for 18 months just six months after I predicted he would. This piece isn’t to brag about being right, I wish I weren’t, but to show how Mayorkas and the Biden administration orchestrated the mass importation of visa-less Afghans into the country to ensure they will never have to return home.

Last year’s chaotic military withdrawal from Afghanistan resulted in countless U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents (LPRs) being stranded while the Biden administration allowed nearly 100,000 un-vetted, visa-less, and mostly working-age male Afghans onto planes destined for United States soil. The administration and its supporters in the media tried to allay concerns of the American people by claiming that these Afghans are refugees or heroic interpreters eligible for Special Immigrant Visa (SIVs), but that was largely untrue.

Phase one of amnesty-lite occurred when Mayorkas unlawfully used parole in a categorical manner to allow these Afghans into the country, immediately making them eligible for work permits. As I scooped back on September 9, Biden political appointees ordered U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) adjudicators to approve the work permits before lengthy national security and background checks could be run, and “resolve” derogatory information later. As a direct result of this policy decision, a number of these Afghan “parolees” have committed heinous crimes against Americans, including rape.

Phase two was the intentionally delayed decision to designate Afghanistan for TPS. As I wrote in the Newsweek op-ed, “If the Biden administration truly believed Afghanistan satisfied the requirement for TPS, Secretary Mayorkas would have announced that decision shortly after the withdrawal debacle. ... The Biden administration will continue its charade of SIV vetting for a few weeks to deflect attention. But it is not a question of ‘if,’ but ‘when’ Afghanistan will receive the TPS designation.”

With the American people sufficiently distracted by Ukraine-Russia, inflation, and other matters, Mayorkas pulled the trigger on amnesty-lite. A quote attributed to Mayorkas in the press release says, “Under this designation, TPS will also provide additional protections and assurances to trusted partners and vulnerable Afghans who supported the U.S. military, diplomatic, and humanitarian missions in Afghanistan over the last 20 years.” Considering the Department of Defense Inspector General’s Office just issued a chilling indictment of Afghan vetting, the use of “trusted partners” to describe this population seems dishonest. Additionally, if these Afghans meaningfully assisted in the war effort or were established as fleeing persecution, they would already be eligible for SIV or refugee status, thus making TPS unnecessary.

Most do not, underscoring how irresponsible it was for the Biden administration to rush them all into the country un-vetted instead of vetting the evacuees in a safe location somewhere closer to Afghanistan. If the Biden administration had chosen this path, only properly vetted and eligible Afghans would have been allowed into the United States.

Instead, it appears that the mass evacuation plan was intentionally designed to create a notable visa-less Afghan population in the country and reward them with TPS to ensure they never have to return to their home country. Or, as I framed it in the concluding sentence of my op-ed, “When [the TPS designation is made], the mass evacuation of Afghans at the expense of stranded Americans will have only resulted in the further erosion of our immigration laws.”

The press release fails to provide an estimate of the population expected to benefit from TPS. Assuming the estimate is included in the Federal Register notice, it would not surprise me if the total is nearly identical to the number of evacuees believed to have been categorically paroled into the country last fall.

As Mayorkas continues to aggressively designate countries for TPS, it is fair to wonder what illegal alien population won’t have amnesty-lite by the end of the Biden administration.

Big Banks, Big Pharma, Big

Tech Team Up with Biden to

Resettle Afghans in U.S.

Big banks, Big Pharma, and giant tech corporations have

teamed up with President Joe Biden’s administration to

resettle tens of thousands of Afghans across the United States

 over the next year.

Biden’s massive Afghan resettlement operation plans to bring at least 95,000 Afghans to the U.S. for resettlement across 46 states.

The Afghans are initially flown into Philadelphia International Airport in Pennsylvania or Dulles International Airport in Virginia before temporarily living on various U.S. military bases while awaiting resettlement. Today, more than 55,000 Afghans remain temporarily living at U.S. bases in Wisconsin, Texas, New Mexico, Indiana, New Jersey, and Virginia.

This week, Biden issued a list of the multinational corporations working with his administration to help resettle the Afghans across the U.S., including JP Morgan Chase, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Bain Capital, Google, Starbucks, and a number of airlines.

The complete list includes:

· United Airlines

· American Airlines

· Delta Airlines

· JetBlue

· Alaskan Airlines

· Boeing

· Tripadvisor

· Frontier Airlines

· Air Canada

· Accenture

· Airbnb

· Bain Capital

· Chamber of Commerce

· Chobani

· Amazon

· CVS Health

· Pfizer

· FedEx

· Tyson Foods

· Tent

· Etsy

· Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher

· Goodwill Industries

· Google

· JP Morgan Chase

· ManpowerGroup

· Procter & Gamble

· Starbucks

· Walgreens

· Walmart

In addition to the corporate partnership, a new non-governmental organization (NGO) backed by former Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama is working closely with the Biden administration on Afghan resettlement.

The NGO seeks to facilitate corporate commitments to refugee resettlement with the goal of funneling Afghans into American jobs.

Refugee resettlement costs taxpayers nearly $9 billion every five years. Over the course of a lifetime, taxpayers pay about $133,000 per refugee and within five years of resettlement, roughly 16 percent will need taxpayer-funded housing assistance.

Over the last 20 years, nearly a million refugees have been resettled in the nation — more than double the number of residents living in Miami, Florida, and it would be the equivalent of annually adding the population of Pensacola, Florida.

President Joe Biden’s advisers have granted temporary legal status to roughly 30,000 Ethiopians now living in the United States.

The award of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) was announced Friday as Ethiopia’s government continues a disastrous war against a non-Ethiopian ethnic group in the Tigray region of the country.

“The United States recognizes the ongoing armed conflict and the extraordinary and temporary conditions engulfing Ethiopia, and DHS is committed to providing temporary protection [for 18 months] to those in need,” said a statement from Alejandro Mayorkas, the pro-migration secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. The statement added:

Ethiopian nationals currently residing in the U.S. who cannot safely return due to conflict-related violence and a humanitarian crisis involving severe food shortages, flooding, drought, and displacement, will be able to remain and work in the United States until conditions in their home country improve.

The protection will help 30,000 Ethiopians, according to a September 30 letter sent to Mayorkas by a variety of pro-migration groups, including the American Immigration Lawyers Association. The letter said:

The current crisis in Ethiopia … has been marked by violence against civilians in conflict, ethnic cleansing, destruction of public infrastructure, including health care facilities and schools, arbitrary arrests, torture, sexual and [sex]-based violence as a weapon of war, and weaponization of food, medicine, and fuel …

Throughout 2021 and 2022, at least six million people across the Amhara, Tigray, and Afar regions have been cut off from access to adequate food, health care, fuel, banking services, communications with the outside world, and other basic needs.

The TPS program has been abused by several presidents to quietly import and keep many foreign workers, renters, and consumers in the United States.

This TPS program policy is just one element of the federal Extraction Migration economic strategy. That strategy aids investors by cutting Americans’ wages and by boosting housing prices. It also pushes up inflation for a wide variety of goods, such as used autos and food.

The TPS program already keeps roughly 500,000 foreigners in the United States, including some who arrived as illegals in the 1980s and 1990s. The migrants were first given TPS when their home nations were hit by disastrous volcano eruptions, floods, famines, or wars.

The 500,000 number does not include the TPS grantees who have already won green cards, nor does it include their U.S.-born children.

President Donald Trump did not extend some of the TPS grants that had been repeatedly extended by prior presidents. The extensions were often granted long after the original disasters had been overcome. But Trump was stopped by lawsuits and Biden’s election.

Since January 2021, Biden has welcomed roughly four million illegal migrants, visa workers, and legal immigrants. He has also imported many additional people from Venezuela, Ukraine, and Afghanistan, and has approved multiple additional TPS designations for Venezuelans, Haitians, and Cameroonians, for example.

The large population helps to push down wages and boost housing costs for Americans — and also to push Americans out of the labor market.

Extraction Migration

It is easier for government officials to grow the economy by immigration than by growing exports, productivity, or the birth rate.

So Washington, DC, deliberately extracts millions of migrants from poor countries and uses them as extra workers, consumers, and renters.

This extraction migration policy both grows and skews the national economy.

It prevents tight labor markets and so it shifts vast wealth from ordinary people to investorsbillionaires, and Wall Street. It makes it difficult for ordinary Americans to  advance in their careers, get married, raise families, buy homes, or gain wealth.

Extraction migration slows innovation and shrinks Americans’ productivity. This happens because migration allows employers to boost stock prices by using stoop labor and disposable workers instead of the skilled American professionals and productivity-boosting technology that earlier allowed Americans and their communities to earn more money.

This migration policy also reduces exports because it minimizes shareholder pressure on C-suite executives to take a career risk by trying to grow exports to poor countries.

Migration undermines employees’ workplace rights, and it widens the regional economic gaps between the Democrats’ cheap-labor coastal states and the Republicans’ heartland and southern states.

An economy fueled by extraction migration also drains Americans’ political clout over elites and it alienates young people. It radicalizes Americans’ democratic civic culture because it gives a moral excuse for wealthy elites and progressives to ignore despairing Americans at the bottom of society, such as drug addicts.

This diversify-and-rule investor strategy is enthusiastically pushed by progressives. They wish to transform the U.S. from a society governed by European-origin civic culture into an economic empire of jealous identity groups overseen by progressive hall-monitors. “We’re trying to become the first multiracial, multi-ethnic superpower in the world,” Rep. Rohit Khanna (D-CA) told the New York Times in March 2022. “It will be an extraordinary achievement … We will ultimately triumph,” he boasted.

But the progressives’ colonialism-like economic strategy kills many migrants. It exploits the poverty of migrants and splits foreign families as it extracts human resources from poor home countries to serve wealthy U.S. investors.

Progressives hide this extraction migration economic policy behind a wide variety of noble-sounding explanations and theatrical border security programs. Progressives claim the U.S. is a “Nation of Immigrants,” that economic migrants are political victims, that migration helps migrants more than Americans, and that the state must renew itself by replacing populations.

Similarly, establishment Republicans, media businesses, and major GOP donors hide the skew towards investors by ignoring the pocketbook impact and by touting border chaos, welfare spending, migrant crime, and drug smuggling.

Many polls show the public wants to welcome some immigration. But the polls also show deep and broad public opposition to labor migration and to the inflow of temporary contract workers into the jobs needed by the families of blue-collar and white-collar Americans.

This “Third Rail” opposition is growinganti-establishmentmultiracialcross-sexnon-racistclass-basedbipartisan,   rationalpersistent, and recognizes the solidarity that American citizens owe to one another.

President Joe Biden’s deputies welcomed 1.66 million economic migrants across the U.S. southern border in 2022, according to data revealed late Friday by the Department of Homeland Security.

Even though the migrants entered illegally, Biden’s deputies are using a variety of legal pretexts — under Title 8 of U.S. law — to release the migrants so they can work to pay off their smuggling debts to banks and loan sharks.

The huge inflow aids investors and employers by cutting Americans’ wages and by boosting housing prices.

The 1.66 million economic migrants welcomed in 2022 are just part of the massive 2022 inflow.

An additional 500,000 unreported migrants sneaked across the border, according to official counts leaked to Breitbart News and other outlets.

The 500,000 additional illegal migrants pushed the total cross-border inflow to roughly 2.5 million in Biden’s second fiscal year, which started on October 1, 2021, and ended on September 30.

Overall, Biden’s illegal border flood delivered seven migrants for every 10 Americans born in 2022.

In addition, Biden and his deputies delivered six migrants for every 10 Americans who turned 18 in 2022.

“We have witnessed the devastating harm wrought by a rogue administration that is asserting near-dictatorial powers in a relentless effort to keep our borders open,” said a statement from R.J. Hauman, the government relations director at the Federation for American Immigration Reform. He continued:

In that time, the Biden administration has blamed the unprecedented surge of illegal immigration on all sorts of external factors – except their own purposeful sabotage of our nation’s immigration laws. The endless flow of illegal immigrants and the incursion of lethal narcotics pouring across our border will not end until this administration demonstrates a willingness to secure the border and enforce the law. Sadly, these record-breaking numbers are unlikely to resonate with them, because what’s happening is all by design.

[Border] Secretary [Alejandro] Mayorkas clearly hid these border numbers on behalf of President Biden and the Democratic Party for political purposes, which is why he released them late on a Friday night. How can anyone vote for a party that puts politics first and America last?

The mass inflow of migrants has helped to push up rents for Americans, including Julia Mallman, a single, childless, 42-year-old kindergarten teacher in Fairfax, Virginia. Her monthly rent jumped by 25 percent as Joe Biden’s migrants rented spaces in her apartment complex, she told the Washington Post on October 20:

“So many emotions when I saw that,” Mallman said. “I was furious. And disappointed. And demoralized.”

She got a post-pandemic gut punch that is hitting renters across the nation this year. After landlords largely suspended rent hikes and federal assistance came during shutdowns, renters are now paying a steep price for that brief clemency. Nationwide, rents are up 11.3 percent this year, according to the real-estate-research firm CoStar Group. In some parts, like in Mallman’s working-class complex, the penalty … is weighing in at 25 percent.

“Who can afford this?” she asked, showing me the contract she decided to sign after all, on the day it was due. “The prices are pretty much the same everywhere I look.”

The Biden administration in 2022 has allowed into the country roughly six times as many people as in 2020 under President Donald Trump.

Biden’s official estimate of the 2022 inflow included 190,000 Venezuelans and 220,000 Cubans, versus 14,000 for both nations in 2020.

The DHS’s 1.66 million count excludes migrants who were registered at the border but were sent back to Mexico or flown home. The number of rejected migrants was not released, but it is far less than 1 million, since many migrants are counted multiple times as they repeatedly try to sneak across the border.

But Biden and his deputies also welcomed many other migrants, including disaster migrants, legal immigrants, visa workers, “student” workers, and people who illegally work while pretending to be tourists. For example, Biden’s deputies legalized almost 150,000 migrants fleeing disasters in Ukraine, Afghanistan, Cameroon, and other countries during fiscal 2022.

Those legal inflows add at least 1.1 million migrants.

If the legal inflow is added to the border illegals, then Biden’s deputies imported 3.6 million migrants in 2022 — or 1 foreigner for every American born in 2022.

The 2022 inflow is double the 885,000 illegals invited across the border in 2021.

Extraction Migration

It is easier for government officials to grow the economy by immigration than by growing exports, productivity, or the birth rate.

So Washington, D.C., deliberately extracts millions of migrants from poor countries and uses them as extra workers, consumers, and renters.

They wish to transform the U.S. from a society governed by European-origin civic culture into an economic empire of jealous identity groups overseen by progressive hall monitors.

But the polls also show deep and broad public opposition to labor migration and the inflow of temporary contract workers into the jobs needed by the families of blue-collar and white-collar Americans.

This “Third Rail” opposition is growinganti-establishmentmultiracialcross-sexnon-racistclass-basedbipartisan,   rationalpersistent, and recognizes the solidarity that American citizens owe to one another.

THE PIG DICTATORS ALWAYS FIND EACH OTHER!

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has escalated his war on Ukraine out of sheer desperation. Knowing that his military is losing to Ukraine’s military on the ground, Putin has taken cowardly revenge by unleashing a reign of terror on Ukraine’s civilian population far from the front line.

Iran’s Complicity in Putin’s War Crimes

Another reason why Biden should walk away from nuclear deal negotiations for good.

C Russian missiles have targeted Ukrainian homes, playgrounds, electrical power facilities, and water supplies. Many innocent people have been killed in the onslaughts, including children.

Putin’s state terror campaign makes him a war criminal. And he is getting plenty of help from the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism, the Iranian regime.

Iran has supplied what are known as “kamikaze” drones, which the Russians have used to target Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure and terrorize Ukrainian civilians. These drones crash into their targets, exploding on impact with deadly results.

The drone attacks in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv and other locations across the country have reportedly caused more than 60 civilian casualties and infrastructure damage between October 14 and 17, according to United Nations humanitarian sources. On October 17th alone, Russia launched nearly 30 kamikaze drones in an attack on Kyiv. A pregnant woman and her partner were killed after one of the drones struck a residential building.

These civilians have been killed or injured in just a few days as a result of Russia’s continuation of its terror campaign, aided and abetted by the Iranian regime. Ukrainian presidential aide Mykhaylo Podolyak accused Iran, with good reason, of being “responsible for the murders of Ukrainians.”

Now it is being reported that Iran will be sending Russia not only more attack drones, but also Iranian-made Fateh-110 and Zolfaghar surface-to-surface precision-guided missiles to replenish Russia’s own dwindling supply of missiles with such capabilities.

Not surprisingly, the Iranian regime has denied any involvement in providing its drones or other weapons to support Russia’s continued war in Ukraine, saying it “has not and will not” do so. However, the evidence proves otherwise, even as Russia has tried to conceal the original source of the drones by repainting the drones in Russian colors and renaming them. This is yet one more example of the Iranian regime’s flagrant lies to cover up its horrific misdeeds.

If Iran’s theocrats have no compunctions about slaughtering many of their own citizens who dare to peacefully protest the regime’s repression, including at least 23 children, they certainly won’t care how many Ukrainian civilians their weapons kill.

Iran’s complicity in Putin’s war crimes should have been the last straw that finally convinced the Biden administration to end its quest to restore the disastrous nuclear deal with Iran. But alas, we have seen no signs yet that the Biden administration is ready to put the final nail in the coffin of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). Instead, the Biden administration’s tepid response to Iran’s military support for Putin’s war crimes was for the Treasury Department to slap a few more sanctions on Iran. These sanctions, which were imposed on an air transportation service provider, three other companies, and an individual for their involvement with the Iranian drones, will likely be lifted, along with other sanctions, if the JCPOA comes back to life.

“Russia is making increasingly desperate choices to continue its unprovoked war against Ukraine, particularly in the face of our unprecedented sanctions and export controls,” said Under Secretary of the Treasury for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence, Brian E. Nelson. “The United States is committed to strictly enforcing our sanctions against both Russia and Iran and holding accountable Iran and those supporting Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine.”

That is a hollow threat coming from the feckless Biden administration. By being willing to continue its indirect talks with Iran, in which Russia has been serving as an intermediary, the Biden administration is turning a blind eye to the evil alliance between the Iranian and Russian regimes. Iran’s provision of weaponry to Russia is facilitating Russia’s barbaric murder of innocent civilians in Ukraine. The Iranian regime should be treated as an international pariah, just like the Russian regime it is supporting militarily.

The JCPOA never made any sense. From its beginning, it lacked an effective, anytime-anyplace, internationally verifiable inspection mechanism. Iran declared its military facilities off limits. Moreover, one of the JCPOA’s worst flaws was the omission of the development, testing, and launching of ballistic missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads f rom its list of prohibitions imposed on Iran. Iran’s missile program has moved full steam ahead without any consequences. A restored JCPOA will not solve any of these problems. At best, it will buy just a few years before the Iranian regime is free to move ahead and produce nuclear weapons without any restraints. More likely, in the absence of an airtight inspection mechanism, the Iranian regime will cheat before then.

Moreover, restoring the JCPOA at the cost of front-loading sanctions relief for Iran and the unfreezing of Iranian assets to the tune of approximately $100 billion will provide the Iranian regime with a huge windfall right off the bat. A regime willing to slaughter its own people in the streets will certainly not use that money to help its people overcome the hardships that they are enduring. Iran’s thugs instead will be free to use their windfall from a new JCPOA deal to develop more sophisticated weaponry for Iran itself, its Middle East terrorist proxies, and Russia to use against helpless civilians.

Alleged Murderer of 12-Year-Old French Girl Lola Had Deportation Order

Dhabia B., the Algerian illegal migrant woman accused of raping and murdering 12-year-old French girl Lola last Friday, is said to have been under a deportation order and should have been removed from the country last month.

The 24-year-old Algerian illegal was arrested for the murder of 12-year-old Lola over the weekend and indicted for murder, torture, rape and acts of barbarism earlier this week by prosecutors in Paris.

However, it has emerged that the Algerian woman, who entered France under a student residence permit in 2016, was subjected to a deportation order and was obliged to leave the country before September 21st of this year, Europe1 reports.

Following her arrival in 2016, French state services lost track of the Algerian but on August 21st she attempted to fly from Paris’ Olry airport where she was arrested for lacking a valid residency permit.

She was later questioned by police and subjected to an obligation to leave French territory (OQTF) that day by the French Interior Ministry. Despite this, no effort was made by French authorities to actually deport the 24-year-old back to Algeria, with some noting that 12-year-old Lola may still be alive if the deportation had been carried out.

On Wednesday, a French police officer from the department of Essonne noted that deportation orders are rarely ever carried out, even if the illegal migrant has a criminal record.

“There is a non-application of the law,” the officer said and added, “When we control someone, even if he has committed a crime, the OQTF is [put on hold] because the service in charge always sends us the same decision, namely to let the person go, reminding him that we must comply with the law of the country that no longer welcomes him.”

The lack of deportations in practice comes despite promises by Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin earlier this year to do more to facilitate the deportation of criminal migrants. In July, Darmanin called for reforms to allow deportations of criminal migrants no matter what their legal status was.

“Today, a foreigner who has committed serious acts is not expellable as long as he meets certain conditions, such as arriving on the national territory before the age of 13,” he said and went on to add, “We want to allow the expulsion of any foreigner found guilty of a serious act by the courts, regardless of his condition of presence on the national territory.”

(CNS News) – Members of the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) in Congo, a radical Islamist group, killed 20 Congolese Christians and kidnapped several others on Oct. 4 in the village of Kainama, reported the International Christian Concern (ICC), a news outlet that focuses on Christian persecution worldwide.

The 20 victims were beheaded and, according to the ICC, at least 50 Christians have been murdered by the ADF since the start of October. Kainama is in eastern Congo in a province that borders Lake Kivu.

The ADF is a terrorist operation within the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria – Democratic Republic of the Congo (ISIS-DRC), according to the U.S. State Department. The group killed over 849 Congolese civilians in 2020 alone.

One of the 20 victims on Oct. 4 was Sobu Mundeke, an evangelist with the Anglican Church of Congo. He and his family had fled from the ADF in May 2022 when the Islamists attacked the village of Vido, killing 16 people.

Their bodies are lying all over, and houses have been burnt down by the ADF rebels. …  We have also confirmed that other people are missing, and we know they have been taken away by the Muslim fighters.”

According to the ICC, the aim of the ADF “is to impose Islamic rule on the Christians, and this they will do by violating the freedom of worship of believers in order to cause fear and recruit more people into Islam.”

The bishop of Beni Anglican Diocese told the ICC, “We are losing believers almost every night savagely slaughtered or shot dead by the Muslim rebels. We do not get to know all the cases, but we can verify that since the beginning of this month, 50 have been killed, and tens taken away as hostages to serve the rebels in their camps inside the forests.”

He continued, “In the Ruwenzori Sector, on the night of October 1, they killed 11 people with several cases of missing people. Again on the night of October 2, 19 people were brutally killed, and others went missing in Mambume, Mutuei, and Mangazi in the locality of Mamove, Oicha. Then on Tuesday night, October 4th, they massacred 20 people in Kainama, and several others are reported missing until now.”

A gay Palestinian man who was living under asylum in Israel was allegedly kidnapped and brought to the West Bank, where he was beheaded Wednesday, according to Israeli media reports.

Ahmad Abu Murkhiyeh, 25, had reportedly been living in Israel for two years and seeking resettlement to Canada because of threats to his life over his sexual orientation. But on Wednesday, Abu Murkhiyeh was beheaded in the West Bank city of Hebron. The victim's friends told media outlets he was kidnapped from Israel and taken to the Palestinian city, though his family said he regularly visited them in Hebron.

Palestinian authorities arrested a suspect in the killing, who allegedly filmed the grisly murder and posted it to social media.

Rita Petrenko, founder of an Arab LGBT nonprofit, said she had helped arrange Abu Murkhiyeh's asylum papers. In comments to the Times of Israel, she contradicted the victim's family's claims that he regularly visited Hebron, saying that to her knowledge Abu Murkhiyeh had not willingly returned to the West Bank since his asylum, out of fear of violence from family members and local residents.

A spokesman for the Palestinian police described the murder as a "new kind of crime in Palestine."

Palestinian Government Still Pays Terrorists as US Aid Dollars Flow

Non-public State Department report confirms Palestinians are not living up to promises

The Palestinian government is still paying imprisoned terrorists stipends and inciting violence against Israel, even as the Biden administration provides nearly half a billion dollars in American taxpayer funds to the government, according to a non-public State Department report recently furnished to Congress.

The Palestinian Authority, which committed to stop these acts to receive new tranches of U.S. aid money, "continued payments to Palestinian prisoners who had committed acts of terrorism, as well as the families of so-called ‘martyrs’ who died while committing acts of terrorism," according to the report, a copy of which was reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon. Official Palestinian government media organizations and social media accounts also "broadcast or published content praising or celebrating acts of violence."

Details from the State Department report are likely to fuel congressional opposition to the Biden administration’s renewed funding of the Palestinian Authority, which almost immediately resumed when the Democratic administration entered office. U.S. aid was slashed by the Trump administration due to the Palestinian Authority’s support for terrorism, as well as a bipartisan U.S. law mandating that American aid be frozen until the Palestinian government ends its terrorist payment policy, also known as "pay-to-slay." That law, the Taylor Force Act, was passed in 2018 and banned the State Department from allocating aid to the Palestinian government until it could certify that payments to terrorists and incitement against Israel ceased.

A State Department spokesman said the administration opposes the Palestinian pay-to-slay program and has repeatedly pressed the Palestinian Authority to stop it. The official also said all U.S. aid is allocated consistent with the law.

Information contained in the latest State Department report indicates the requirements for aid set forth under the law are not being met. Since April 2021, the United States has provided "over half a billion dollars in assistance for the Palestinians," according to the State Department. In July, President Joe Biden announced that another $316 million would be awarded to "support the Palestinian people," according to the White House.

"First, the administration tried to mislead Congress about Palestinian terrorists and payments to terrorists, which unfortunately worked long enough for them to move money to the Palestinian government," one senior congressional official who works on Middle East issues told the Washington Free Beacon. "Now, they just don’t care."

The State Department collected evidence showing that "elements of Palestinian leadership made individual statements that appeared to support violence," according to the report. The Palestinian Authority’s "conventional media and social media also broadcast problematic comments and videos." This occurred as Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas condemned a recent spate of terrorist attacks in Israel and "maintained a public position against incitement of violence and terrorism."

Official Palestinian government media outlets were labeled as "inconsistent" in their enforcement of prohibitions on terror incitement, according to the State Department. Social media accounts affiliated with Abbas’s Fatah Party, for instance, have "featured content praising or condoning acts of violence."

The Fatah Youth Movement at Najah University in the West Bank territory "praised the December 2021 killing" of an Israeli civilian as a "heroic operation," according to the information compiled by the State Department. Palestine TV also broadcast footage of "a young girl at a primary school in Jenin" reciting a poem "asking God to banish the Jews from the region."

In March, the Palestinian Authority’s official news agency, Wafa, posted a celebration on Facebook of terrorist Dalal al-Moghrabi, who killed 38 Israelis, including 13 children, in a 1978 attack. The outlet praised al-Moghrabi as "the icon of struggle and resistance," according to the State Department.

The Biden administration has given more than $417 million in humanitarian assistance to Palestinian refugees through the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, which is known to advocate against Israel, and terrorists have used its schools as a base of operations. The U.S. Agency for International Development has awarded some $75 million in humanitarian assistance, and $20.5 million was allocated for COVID relief and "Gaza recovery assistance," according to the State Department.

Jonathan Schanzer, a regional expert and senior vice president for research at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, said the Palestinian Authority and its splinter groups are becoming increasingly polarized.

"Incitement continues unabated by the Palestinian Authority," Schanzer told the Free Beacon. "In recent months, this has been accompanied by violent splinter factions of entities closely tied to the P.A. All of this could backfire rather badly on the P.A., which has not exactly been popular or stable. Washington has a duty to not only enforce its own policies. It has an obligation to preserve the system that it created, which now appears increasingly brittle."

Iraqi Official With Alleged Ties to Iranian Terror Proxies Granted Entry to United States

An Iraqi official with alleged ties to the Iranian regime and its terrorist proxies traveled this week to the United States for high-level meetings amid a global energy crisis that has sent oil prices skyrocketing.

Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar Ismail, Iraq’s oil minister and acting finance minister, is listed as an official Iraqi government participant for World Bank meetings scheduled to be held in Washington, D.C., according to a list of participants published by the organization. He is also expected to hold meetings with Biden administration officials, according to sources familiar with the matter. A coalition of Republican lawmakers want to know why the Biden administration is "roll[ing] out the red carpet" for Ismail and how he was able to obtain a U.S. visa.

Three Republican foreign policy leaders in Congress are pressuring the Biden administration to reconsider engaging with Ismail, citing his alleged ties to Iran’s terrorist regime and the country’s efforts to evade U.S. economic sanctions.

Under Ismail’s leadership, Iraq’s State Oil Marketing Organization "has a track record of business dealings with Iran, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and Iranian-backed terrorist organizations Asa’ib ahl al-Haq and Katai’b Hezbollah," Reps. Jim Banks (R., Ind.), Mike Waltz (R., Fla.), and Joe Wilson (R., S.C.) wrote on Wednesday to the White House, according to a copy of the letter obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. The lawmakers say it is inappropriate for the United States to host an official believed to be enabling the Iranian regime’s global terrorism enterprise, particularly amid mass protests in Iran that threaten to topple the hardline government.

"Joe Biden publicly criticized Italy’s new conservative prime minister, but his administration is happy to roll out the red carpet for criminally corrupt officials with ties to Iranian terrorists," Banks, head of the Republican Study Committee, Congress’s largest Republican caucus, told the Free Beacon. "There is no low the Biden administration won’t stoop to for its disastrous proposed Iran deal and to avoid investing in American energy."

A State Department spokesman would not comment on the status of Ismail’s visa or the issue raised by members of Congress, telling the Free Beacon, "We cannot discuss the details of individual visa cases." In general, the spokesman said, "whenever an individual applies for a U.S. visa, a consular officer reviews the facts of the case and determines whether the applicant is eligible for that visa based on U.S. law."

Ismail has been a controversial figure in Iraqi politics due to allegations he is complicit in the Iranian regime’s efforts to skirt U.S. sanctions on its crude oil trade, which has brought in billions of dollars in revenue for the hardline regime in Tehran and enabled it to fund regional terrorist groups.

"The Oil Minister is known also to have facilitated illegal oil exports on behalf of Iran," the lawmakers write, citing information from the watchdog group United Against Nuclear Iran indicating that Iraq’s State Oil Marketing Organization has helped Tehran offload its heavily sanctioned crude as part of a scheme to evade U.S. sanctions.

Ismail is also "suspected of widescale corruption to accept bribes for the award of contracts and oil operations in Iraq," according to the lawmakers. Iraq’s al-Karkh Investigation court has already charged Ismail with 29 corruption cases and he is also "suspected of accepting bribes from the IRGC Quds Force (IRGC-QF) and international oil companies."

Given the cloud of controversy surrounding Ismail, the Republican lawmakers want to know why the Biden administration would grant him a visa and allow him to participate in high-level meetings with U.S. officials.

"At a time when the brave Iranian women are speaking out for their freedom against a ruthless regime, the Biden administration providing a visa for an individual who has long-standing relationships with multiple Iran-backed foreign terrorist groups sends a terrible message to the rest of the world," Waltz told the Free Beacon. "The Biden administration needs to isolate proxies of the Iranian regime, not embrace them by indifference towards their corruption and extensive ties to U.S.-designated terrorist groups."

Ismail, Waltz said, should be sanctioned for these ties, "not engaging in official government business in the United States."

The lawmakers are asking the White House to provide them information about who granted Ismail a U.S. visa and on what basis.

"Are you aware that this individual has been instrumental in leading Iraq’s Oil Ministry and its sub-entities to implement Iraq’s Federal Supreme Court decision which was directed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps-Quds Force (IRGC-QF) to dismantle the Kurdistan Region’s oil exports, and thereby its economy and ability to serve as a bulwark to Iranian regional terrorism?" they write.

"Are you aware that he along with a range of Iraqi officials are suspected of systemic corruption, largely through the oil operations of the Iraqi state, and business relationships with existing designated terrorist groups, and facilitating the illicit export of Iranian oil and fuel products?"

They also want to know if the Biden administration has determined whether Ismail has engaged in "significant transactions with designated foreign terrorist groups." If such assessments have been made, Ismail may not qualify to receive a U.S. visa, according to the lawmakers.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DEMOCRAT PARTY? I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue and stoke anti-white racism, actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms, are hostile to people of faith and spirituality, demonize the police and protect criminals at the expense of law-abiding Americans, believe in open borders, weaponize the national security state to go after political opponents, and above all, dragging us ever closer to nuclear war.                         TULSI GABBARD

CAIR Condemns ‘Racist’ Fliers That Don’t Mention Muslims or Islam

Meanwhile, CAIR doesn't like white people.

Here is a study in contrasts from South Carolina regarding the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). There were two separate broadcasts about CAIR and racist fliers in South Carolina.

CAIR is condemning racist fliers left on people’s driveways. There is quite a bit of this racist flier activity around the country. In fact, it is one of the ways CAIR representatives get on TV as often as they do. Yet the fliers have nothing to do with Muslims or Islam.

Although the TV station cautions residents against going to the website contained in the flier, your intrepid reporter managed to contact a leader of one of the groups by phone to see if they were talking about Muslims. They are not. They are exclusively talking about Jews and blacks.

Still, when these fliers showed up in the Palmetto State, CAIR reps took the opportunity to get on TV with their empty condemnations.

In the Pee Dee region of the state, WPDE saved its mention of CAIR for the end of the broadcast. It’s a common pattern: stations pivot from some legitimate authority figure such as the police to a CAIR spokesman. Newscasters place CAIR on an equal footing with the police, a mayor, or even the President of the United States.

In the LowcountryWCIV led off with the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

The Council on American Islamic Relations the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights, and advocacy organization condemned the distribution of anti-Semitic fliers in Georgetown County.

Again, these fliers have nothing to do with Islam, Muslims, or CAIR. You know, if you had a product or service you wanted to promote on TV, you would kill to have the kind of access CAIR is seemingly enjoying for free. And “enjoying” is the right word. Here is CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper (pictured above) in ecstasy over the media attention CAIR receives: “78 billion potential viewers!”

This is not the first time WCIV has worked with CAIR. CAIR was on several South Carolina TV stations importuning the police to deploy extra resources to catch whoever spray-painted “utterly blessed” on the side of an Islamic center. This broadcast was noteworthy because, in at least one case, local Muslims didn’t think it was a big deal. That made this another example of the fact CAIR does not represent the “Muslim community”.

WCIV also reported on Greenville County Council Member Lynn Ballard’s apology for wearing a Confederate flag t-shirt, and gave the distinct impression that Ballard was apologizing to CAIR. Something he did not do.

WCIV has the good taste not to promote the website found in the racist fliers. But the station will promote CAIR, whose reps have referred to white people as depraved, savage, subhuman devils who should be choked.

The same thing that motivates CAIR to condemn racist fliers around the country causes them to get involved in a rumor about a girls’ high school softball game in Iowa. CAIR clearly does not like white people, and polices them with an eagle eye, while steadfastly ignoring the activities of violent Muslims.

Both WCIV and WPDE have mottos about “working for you.” In this instance, however, they are working for a tiny segment of society that couldn’t raise more than 1,000 people in support of its pet cause, Palestine.

Local newscasters around the country are going to continue to promote CAIR on TV until you tell them to stop.

Muslim ‘Officials’ Deny Persecuted Christians Refuge in Europe

“Why doesn’t your Jesus save you?”

The same Germany that took in over a million Muslim migrants in 2015, and ten thousand non-vetted Afghans in 2021—all people who, by definition, could not be experiencing religious persecution back home as they themselves were Muslim—has refused asylum to a Muslim convert to Christianity, even though one of his relatives was tortured and murdered for the same “crime” of apostasy in his native Iran.

Going under the pseudonym of “Hassan” to protect his identity, the 44-year-old applied for asylum in Germany in 2018.  The authorities rejected his testimony on their belief that no one would convert to Christianity after seeing and experiencing what happens to converts in Iran.  In this, they were referring to Hassan’s brother-in-law, whom Hassan said introduced him to Christianity, and was later arrested and killed in prison for participating in a house church.  German authorities concluded that it was “not particularly likely” that Hassan would become—certainly not remain—a Christian after such an event, as the murder would have a “deterrent effect” on any other would-be converts, namely Hassan.

After Germany closed its doors to him, Hassan took his case to the European Court of Human Rights; it, too, recently denied his appeal. The apostate from Islam is now set to be deported back to the Islamic Republic of Iran, an act that seems the equivalent of sentencing him to death, or at the very least, abandoning him to persecution and imprisonment.

Before German authorities rejected his request for asylum, Hassan had offered the following testimonial to the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees:

My wife’s brother had become a different person by becoming a Christian. We wanted to see if we would get this feeling when we became Christians….  I had had many problems in Iran…I had many [religious] questions, but I was not allowed to ask them. When I asked questions, I was beaten at school. This led me to want to know which God I was facing. One day my brother-in-law said to me and my wife that he had good news. There is a treasure, there is a living God, Jesus Christ, we are His children and not His slaves…He said there is a free salvation available.

As mentioned, his brother-in-law would go on to be imprisoned for his house church activities, and finally murdered for his faith in jail.

The Islamic Republic of Iran, it’s worth noting, is one of the worst nations to persecute Christians—especially Muslim converts.  As one human rights group explained back in 2017:

A great many Iranians have been coming to Christ and it’s something which the authorities are clearly very unhappy about. So there are periodic arrests, detentions, [and] imprisonments. There have been a lot of charges lately which are suggesting an even greater clampdown—sentences of 10-15 years in some cases for Christians. And usually, the authorities will suggest that this [is] the result of undermining the state or seeking to collaborate against the state and will use more political charges than say apostasy or blasphemy laws.

Despite this oppressive climate, and rather than be “dissuaded” by the murder of his brother-in-law, Hassan, his wife and children all went on to embrace Christ.  Before long, suspicious Iranian security forces stormed and plundered their home of their books, computer, passports, and Bible.  Hassan and his family responded by fleeing Iran, eventually reaching Germany.

“In Germany I share the gospel, I organize prayer circles here in the accommodation,” he said. “I want to be a good example, to win the others to faith in Jesus Christ. My greatest goal would be for my children to be able to find Christ in freedom, and to do good.”

Here we come to a critically important though overlooked question: why did the German authorities find Hassan’s testimony—that he became Christian despite knowing the dire consequences—unintelligible in the first place?  The simple answer is that, as atheists/materialists, German authorities simply could not believe that anyone would risk their lives just to be Christian.

As Lidia Rieder of ADF, which is assisting Hassan, observes,

There are national and international guidelines for asylum applications based on religious grounds….  Unfortunately, this guidance is being used very selectively by the German decision-makers. They do not understand that maintaining a religious belief when persecuted can be appealing to others and not just a deterrent as seen from the history of Christianity.

There could, however, be another reason that “this guidance is being used very selectively by the German decision-makers”: these decision-makers could themselves be Muslims who are avenging themselves and Islam on these Christ-loving apostates.

For starters, we already know that this exact scenario has played out before.  Back in December 2019, CBN News reported:

Christian Syrian refugees … have been blocked from getting help from the United Nations Refugee Agency, the UNHCR, by Muslim UN officials in Jordan.  One of the refugees, Hasan, a Syrian convert to Christianity, told us in a phone call that Muslim UN camp officials “knew that we were Muslims and became Christians and they dealt with us with persecution and mockery. They didn’t let us into the office. They ignored our request.” Hasan and his family are now in hiding, afraid that they will be arrested by Jordanian police, or even killed. Converting to Christianity is a serious crime in Jordan.

Similarly, according to Timothy, another Muslim convert to Christianity, “All of the United Nations officials [apparently in Jordan], most of them, 99 percent, they are Muslims, and they were treating us as enemies.”

Addressing this issue, Paul Diamond, a British human rights lawyer, once said:

You have this absurd situation where the scheme is set up to help Syrian refugees and the people most in need, Christians who have been “genocided,” they can’t even get into the U.N. camps to get the food. If you enter and say I am a Christian or convert, the Muslim U.N. guards will block you [from] getting in and laugh at you and mock you and even threaten you…. [saying]  “You shouldn’t have converted. You’re an idiot for converting. You get what you get,” words to that effect.

Notable here is that those (Muslim) authorities who deny refuge to Christians habitually mock them and engage in sarcasm—which may well be what the German authorities who denied Hassan were doing when they denied him asylum by essentially saying that no sane person would ever become Christian in light of the consequences.

There are, in fact, many other examples of “Western decision makers” employing sarcasm and mockery in their decisions to deny asylum to persecuted converts.  Consider just the United Kingdom’s Home Office, which runs its immigration program.  It ridiculed an Iranian female asylum seeker in her rejection letter by writing, “You affirmed in your AIR [Asylum Interview Record] that Jesus is your saviour, but then claimed that he would not be able to save you from the Iranian regime. It is therefore considered that you have no conviction in your faith and your belief in Jesus is half-hearted.”

Discussing her experiences, the rejected woman first explained her plight: “In my country if someone converts to Christianity their punishment is death or execution.”  Concerning the asylum process, she said that whenever she responded to her Home Office interviewer, “he was either chuckling or maybe just kind of mocking when he was talking to me….  [H]e asked me why Jesus didn’t help you from the Iranian regime or Iranian authorities.”

Similarly, in his rejection letter from the UK’s Home Office, one Iranian man was told that several biblical passages were “inconsistent” with his claim to have converted to Christianity after discovering it was a “peaceful” faith.  The letter went so far as to cite biblical passages—from Exodus, Leviticus, Matthew, and Revelation—to argue that the Bible is violent, before concluding: “These examples are inconsistent with your claim that you converted to Christianity after discovering it is a ‘peaceful’ religion, as opposed to Islam which contains violence, rage and revenge.”

In short, it seems that some Muslims in the West have gained the power and authority to do what they do in the Muslim world—discriminate against if not send Christians and apostates off to their deaths.

To protect our security I suspended the entry of foreign refugees from terror afflicted nations.  Biden has pledged a staggering 700 percent increase in refugees from the most violent terrorist hotspots anywhere on earth.  If you don’t mind I’ll end that.  And that was the deal, the manifesto, that he agreed to with Bernie Sanders and AOC+3 [Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York and three other female “progressive” reps, including Ilhan Omar of Minnesota and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan].....   The Biden plan would overwhelm your communities … and open the floodgates to radical Islamic terrorism. Raymond Ibrahim

the Biden Admin Just Made It Easier for Terrorists To Enter the United States

The Biden administration altered federal law to make it easier for individuals who have worked with designated terrorist groups to legally enter the United States.

The State and Homeland Security Departments last week amended federal immigration laws to allow foreigners who provided "insignificant material support" to designated terror groups to receive "immigration benefits or other status," according to the policy published in the Federal Register. Examples of individuals who would fall into the new category, according to the announcement, include individuals who provided "humanitarian assistance" or "routine commercial transactions" to terror groups.

The policy shift is fueling concerns that the Biden administration wants to make it easier for individuals who work with or for Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), the country's paramilitary fighting force that has killed hundreds of Americans, to enter the country. Notice of the change came several days before the Biden administration and hardline Iranian government resumed talks aimed at securing a revamped version of the 2015 nuclear deal.

A State Department spokesman said the law was amended to help vulnerable Afghans, who might have inadvertently worked with terror groups, gain refuge in the United States following the Biden administration's bungled withdrawal that left the Taliban in power. Lawmakers and former U.S. officials, however, say the new regulations are so broadly written that they would apply to organizations like al Qaeda and the IRGC. The policy change is also raising red flags as U.S. officials, including former secretary of state Mike Pompeo, face credible death threats from Iran.

The rule does not specifically mention Afghanistan but is written to cover all U.S.-designated foreign terrorist organizations, such as the IRGC and al Qaeda, experts told the Free Beacon. The Taliban is not designated as a foreign terrorist organization, leaving lawmakers and former U.S. officials concerned the changes extend far beyond vulnerable Afghans and cover those tied to some of the globe's most violent terror groups.

Gabriel Noronha, a State Department special adviser for Iran during the Trump administration, said that "the Biden administration is claiming this regulation is all about Afghanistan, but they didn't even mention Afghanistan once in their action, and have made no serious attempt to limit the scope to the situation there."

"Instead," said Noronha, who is a fellow with the Jewish Institute for National Security of America think tank, "this looks like a massive watering down of our immigration restrictions against members of terrorist organizations."

The State Department says the changes are limited to Afghanistan, but would not say why the country is not mentioned once in the new order.

The changes "are an effort to address issues related to Afghanistan," a State Department spokesman, speaking only on background, told the Free Beacon. "The circumstances between Afghanistan and Iran are very different." The new rules "are not applicable to people who have received military-type training from [foreign terrorist organizations], including IRGC conscripts." Rather, the administration is trying to make it easier for those tangentially tied to terrorism to legally enter the country, the official maintained.

When the Free Beacon requested additional information and an explanation as to why the IRGC or similar groups would not be covered by the changes, the State Department declined to answer, saying, "We have no further information or comments to share." This lack of clarity is fueling concerns about the policy change.

Noronha and others who spoke to the Free Beacon say the broad reference to "foreign terrorist organizations" leaves open the possibility that groups like the IRGC and al Qaeda would benefit from the relaxed immigration guidelines. The revamped guidelines do not specifically include restrictions on either of these groups. "At best this is a horribly written regulation. At worst, it's an attempt to pull the wool over the eyes of Congress and the American people and make it easier for terrorists to come to America," Noronha said.

Richard Goldberg, who under Trump served on the White House National Security Council as the director for countering Iranian weapons of mass destruction, said that any effort to loosen restrictions on terror-tied individuals is worrying amid Iran's threats to kill U.S. leaders.

"Given Iran is actively plotting to kill former American officials, the administration should carefully explain if and how this [rule] might apply to a potential affiliate of the IRGC, and provide a high-level commitment to take all necessary steps to bar any potential IRGC associate from admission to the United States," Goldberg, a senior adviser at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies think tank, told the Free Beacon.

Republican lawmakers agree with this assessment. Five Republican foreign policy leaders who spoke to the Free Beacon expressed concerns the administration is trying to quietly grant concessions to Iran as it reenters nuclear talks.

"It's outrageous that the Biden administration is lifting the blanket ban on individuals who have provided support to terrorists from entering the United States," Rep. Joe Wilson (R., S.C.), a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, told the Free Beacon. "The timing raises concerns coming just a few days before the latest round of Iran talks. President Biden should end these failed negotiations once and for all and return to a policy of maximum pressure, rather than continuing to make concessions to the terrorist regime in Iran."

Rep. Jim Banks (R., Ind.), a member of the House Armed Services Committee, said he and his colleagues worry the Biden administration is attempting to grant concessions to Iran via backdoor changes to American laws.

"What do Americans gain by letting members of Iran's terrorist army cross our borders?" Banks asked.

Rep. Mike Waltz (R., Fla.), a combat veteran and also a member of the Armed Services Committee, said the change is purely about "appeasing terrorist groups—whether it's the IRGC, Houthis, or Taliban."

Reps. Lisa McClain (R., Mich.) and Pat Fallon (R., Texas), both Armed Services Committee members, expressed shock at how broadly written the new regulations are.

"In what world is it an acceptable decision to allow terrorists into our country?" Fallon asked the Free Beacon. "Instead of ending the nuclear talks with Iran all together, Joe Biden has decided to bend over backwards to the world's largest state sponsor of terrorism. Before it is too late, I urge them to immediately reconsider this foolish decision."

Update June 29, 3:31 p.m.: A previous version of this story incorrectly stated that the Biden administration made no formal announcement of the policy change.

‘Allah Has Given You into Our Hands’

The Muslim persecution Christians endured during just one month.

This article first appeared on Gatestone Institute.

The following are among the abuses Muslims inflicted on Christians throughout the month of August, 2022:

The Jihad on Christian Girls

Pakistan: After refusing to review evidence from a Christian couple trying to recover their 12-year-old daughter from a married Muslim man accused of kidnapping the girl and forcing her to convert to Islam and marry him,  Muslim judge Sadaqat Ali Khan threw the case out of court on Aug. 18.  Initially, when the parents first reported the kidnapping, her kidnapper, Imran Shahzad and his wife Adiba, were brought in for questioning. However, when the 12-year-old girl was produced at court and said that she had converted of her free will and married her Muslim kidnapper, the judge—ignoring the girl’s underage and distraught demeanor—ordered the accused released and the girl returned to him, even though there was lots of contrary evidence to indicate that the girl was being coerced to lie under duress, including a voice recording of her now Muslim husband threatening to butcher the girl’s two brothers if she failed to support him in court.  Discussing the more recent appeals hearing, one human rights activist involved with the case, Sherkan Malik, said,

The judge dismissed our petition in under two minutes—he even refused to look at any of the evidence, which clearly showed that the minor child was threatened to give a statement in favor of the accused, Imran Shahzad and his wife Adiba…  The sessions court completely ignored her birth certificate, church registration documents and school certifications which confirmed her age as 12 [the legal age to marry under the Punjab Child Marriage Restraint Act is 16]….  Police and judiciary tend to support those who commit crimes such as forced conversions, child marriages and sexual violence because they believe they will receive a heavenly reward for helping convert someone to Islam, regardless of how intentional or coercive the conversion is.

Egypt: On Sunday, Aug. 7, another minor Christian girl “disappeared” on her way to attend morning mass.  Abigail Magdy Zakaria’s phone was later discovered turned off.   Her parents quickly informed the National Security Agency, which, however, “did not give any indication of pursuing the issue,” says the report, before adding:

Disappearance of Coptic girls, a rampant phenomenon in Egypt over the past three decades, that qualifies under international law as ‘human trafficking,’ has become worse in recent years. Typically, organized Islamic groups target certain girls to lure and convert them to Islam. The police and state security agency often turn a blind eye to such crimes and may even help whisk the victim to Al-Azhar’s conversion office to complete the official conversion certificate in record time. In the rare cases where a girl is returned to her family, the culprits are never held accountable. In other words, the supposedly law-preserving authorities act as implicit, if not explicit, partner in such heinous crimes.

In response to this latest and many more kidnappings of Christian girls in Egypt, on Aug. 9, Coptic Solidarity issued the following petition (sign here):

I am writing to you out of deep concern for the safety and well-being of the indigenous Coptic women and minor girls in Egypt who have been increasingly targeted for trafficking, forced marriage, and forced conversion.  This serious human rights abuse has been well-documented with former traffickers confirming that the networks are coordinated by Imams of local mosques and with the complicity of Egyptian police, and that traffickers are paid for every Coptic female they kidnapped. This targeting and forced conversion of Coptic women is an intentional form of genocide… lowering the number of Christians in Egypt and ensuring that their children are raised as Muslims. More recently Egyptian police have ‘found’ abducted women, but only after enough international pressure and media attention was garnered in specific cases such as those of married women with children such as Ranya ‘Abd al-Masih and Mary Wahib Joseph who were abducted, forced to wear a hijab and record videos claiming leaving their homes and converting to Islam of their own free will, despite the women clearly being under duress in the recordings. Several other minor girls have also been recently recovered.  These women are fortunate in that they represent a very small minority of trafficked Coptic women who are recovered. YET, in every instance, the circumstances of them being ‘found’ and returned to their families is extremely murky, and not a single individual involved in the trafficking has been held to account by Egyptian police or the judiciary.  I respectfully urge you to raise the epidemic of trafficking of Coptic women and girls…

Nigeria: On Aug. 14, two Muslims tried to rape a 16-year-old Christian girl, but were prevented by her mother’s forceful intervention.   The Christian women were walking towards their farmland when the Muslim men approached them. “They told us to stop,” the mother said during a recent interview. “Then the Fulani [Muslim herdsmen] beat me and injured me… I was trying to stop them from raping my daughter.” While explaining, she simulated the incident by repeatedly raising her arm, which had a deep gash suffered from the militants’ hacking blades. The girl was unable to participate in the interview and “was traumatized and crying throughout the visit.”  This is not the first time for the Muslim Fulani to harm these Christian women.  In 2017, they raided their village and killed 29 other Christians, displacing the rest of the villagers.  The mother, however, seemed only grateful to have been able to shield “her daughter from public disgrace and shame, which is often how victims of rape are viewed in their society…  I have nothing to say but thank God. Please tell Christian[s] to pray for me and my daughter. Pray that we will return to our village one day because life is too expensive for us in the city.”

Jihadist Slaughter of Christians

Egypt: On Aug. 30, Muslims murdered two Christians, a father and son.  The two were shot dead while working on their farm by suspected Islamic State militants in Sinai.  Waheeb, the elder, left behind five children; his son, Hany, who was killed along his side, is survived by a wife and two daughters.  The Islamic State, which is active in Sinai, has vowed to “wipe out” Egypt’s Christian community, and has killed many.

Mozambique: Muslims beheaded two Christians during a raid on a minibus.  The murders were later claimed by the Islamic State (IS) of Mozambique, known locally as al-Shabaab (“the youth,” not to be confused with Somalia’s Islamic terror group of the same name).  A statement by the jihadists declared, “By the grace of God Almighty, the soldiers of the Caliphate … killed two Christians, beheading them, and shooting them with weapons.”  According to the report,

Islamists gained effective control of an area of Cabo Delgado in 2017. The province has since been termed “the Land of Fear” owing to brutal violence meted out against both Christians and moderate Muslims. Mozambican and Southern African Development Community forces had started to drive the Islamists back in late 2021. However, the Islamist insurgency now appears to be spreading.  In June 2021, ISIS-Mozambique claimed responsibility for the ‘beheading of several Christians’ in Cabo Delgado. Another was beheaded during a raid on a Christian village in the neighboring province of Nampula.

Nigeria: At least 20 others Christians were slaughtered in the first two weeks of August during Islamic attacks on Christian villages.  “Constant killings and maiming of innocent Christians by terrorists and herdsmen bandits [Muslim Fulani] have become very common here in Taraba state,” said Ayuba Matthew, a local. “So also, kidnappings of Christians has become a problem.”  The constant depredations have further “displaced more than 10,000 people from the predominantly Christian villages.”

Discussing the ongoing jihad on Nigeria’s Christians, Johan Viljoen, director of the Denis Hurley Peace Institute (DHPI), of the Southern African Catholic Bishops’ Conference, said

I am shocked [at the spate of kidnappings] because I know many priests and religious in that part of the country. We are dealing here with a sustained campaign to wipe out Christianity in general and the Catholic church in particular. No Christian is safe.

Like many other Christian leaders in Africa, he accused the Muslim president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, of being complicit in the nonstop Fulani attacks:

No ‘armed gunmen’ are ever arrested or stand trial. His government has stood for the right of ‘cattle herders’ to occupy any land. Governors who have tried to rein them in face opposition from the federal government.

Similarly, Marcela Szymanski, head of advocacy for Aid to the Church in Need International, said,

Islamist extremists and criminals in Nigeria abduct the sole providers of social services to the most vulnerable, leaving thousands destitute and hungry,” even as the Buhari government “looks the other way, and the West calls them ‘preferred partners’ because they have oil and gas!….  It is likely that members of the party in power get kickbacks from oil [companies]; they couldn’t care less about the starvation of their own citizens! We see the same pattern in most mineral-rich nations, who count among the poorest in the world.

 Death to and in Churches

Egypt: On Sunday, Aug. 14, the Church of Abu Seifein—named after Saint Mercurius of Caesarea—caught fire as it was packed with over two hundred worshippers celebrating morning mass.  At least 41 Christians18 of whom were children—were either burned alive or killed by asphyxiation.  Along with the officiating priest, 5-year-old triplets, their mother, grandmother, and an aunt were among those killed.  According to one report, “Eyewitnesses said firetrucks and ambulances arrived to the site over one hour after signaling the fire, even though they’re stationed in [a] nearby street,” which caused more lives to be lost needlessly.  Despite the fact that radical Muslims have torched or bombed hundreds of Coptic churches over the decades in Egypt—62 churches in 2013 alone—“faulty electric wiring” was presented as the official cause, minutes after the fire department finally arrived (though, and as many critics have pointed out, it takes a serious, prolonged investigation before such a determination can be made—not minutes).

Equally telling is that all throughout the month of August—particularly within the dates of an important religious season—a total of eleven Coptic churches in Egypt “caught fire,” though none of these were reported in the Western press (apparently because no one died in these fires, some of which were major, while others were minor or caught early enough to prevent serious damage, thanks to heightened vigilance among the Christians themselves).  In every one of these eleven fires, Egyptian authorities denied arson as a possible cause, citing instead “natural” or accidental causes such as faulty wiring, electric overloads, etc., even though there was obvious foul play in at least one case: Two days after the fire that killed 41 Christians, on Aug. 16, witnesses saw someone on the balcony of a residential building adjacent to the Church of Saint Mary the Egyptian hurl some combustible substance onto the top floor of the church.  Christians quickly put it out and called the authorities but instead of blaming the apartment in question—and thus risking worse by way of “reprisals”—the church diplomatically asked the authorities to investigate with due diligence, especially the nearby building.  The only thing that came out of it was another fiery missile hurled onto the church on Aug 21.

In a recent program dedicated to discussing the plight of churches in Egypt, the prolific Egyptian writer and researcher, Magdi Khalil, made some important observations.  Of the 3,000 or so churches in Egypt, hundreds, he said, have been torched over the past 50 years.  Meanwhile, and although there are at least half a million mosques and prayer halls in Egypt, none have ever burned due to “faulty electric wiring,” etc.  These numbers further underscore the extreme discrimination against churches in Egypt: about 90 million Muslims have half a million mosques, whereas 10 million Christians have a mere 3,000 churches. Little wonder churches are always cramped fire hazards. At one point, after pointing out that those who target Christians in Egypt rarely if ever suffer any consequences, Khalil exclaimed, “Incitement against the Copts is daily in Egypt! Accusing the Copts of being infidels [kuffar] is daily in Egypt! Mockery of Christianity and the sacred things of Christianity and the accusation that the Bible is distorted [moharraf] occurs daily in Egypt!”

Nigeria: A Muslim gang “shot their way onto the site of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Dinya village.”  According to the parish priest, the Rev. Lawrence Awua,

[The] terrorists broke into the premises of our church on Sunday, Aug. 14, as we were already in our bedrooms. They were shooting indiscriminately in the premises of the church. Our catechist, Mr. Gideon Tsehemba, was forcefully dragged out of the church with a gun pointed at him. I was already in my bedroom, but they thought there was no one around except the catechist.

Elsewhere in Nigeria on that same Sunday afternoon (Aug. 14), Muslims shot and severely wounded a Christian.  According to a local, “Mr. Faga was returning to his home from his church after worship service at about 2 p.m. when the terrorists shot him.  He’s currently receiving treatment in a local hospital here.”

Generic Hate for and Abuse of Christians

Uganda: Muslims cut off the hand of an apostate from Islam.  More than a month earlier, on June 17, Musa John Kasadah, a 42-year-old married father of six children, left Islam and embraced Christianity after attending an open-air event comparing both religions. Before long, local Muslims, including some siblings, noticed that he and his family had stopped attending Friday mosque prayers. The pastor who led Musa and his family to Christ began to receive threatening messages, including: “It has come to our attention that Musa Kasadah and the family are attending your church. This should stop immediately, otherwise your church is at risk.”  The pastor responded by helping Musa and his family clandestinely relocate to the plantation of a local official.  The persistent jihadists managed to track them down, however. On July 26, four Muslims intercepted and accosted Musa and his family in a field near their temporary home:

You thought that we shall not get hold of you? We have been tracking you from the house of [the local official] to here, and today is your last day to be alive. Allah has given you into our hands.

“They started beating my husband and then got hold of me and tied me up,” said Musa’s wife, Asiya. “They forced me to sing Christian songs as they began chopping off my husband’s hand.”  During this torture session, one of the Muslims “took a long Somali sword and began cutting off his hand, intending to kill him. After chopping off his hand and part of his forearm, a truck arrived with sugarcane workers, and the assailants disappeared into the plantation.”  The truck drivers helped and arranged for an ambulance to take the family to a nearby hospital.  Apparently fearful of worse repercussions, the “family has yet to file a police report.”

Egypt: Authorities seized a four-year-old child from his adoptive Christian parents on a technicality of Islamic law.  Four years ago, a Coptic priest heard cries emanating from inside his empty church.  He discovered a newborn baby boy, apparently abandoned by a mother who bore him out of wedlock.  The priest entrusted the newborn babe to a childless couple from his congregation.  Considering that they had been praying for 29-years to give them a child, they joyously embraced the boy as their own and baptized and named him Shenouda, a popular Coptic name. For the next four years everything went well.  Shenouda became the pride and joy of his adoptive parents’ lives. Seeing him as a “gift from God,” they spared no care or expense on his upbringing.  Then the Egyptian state learned about this otherwise happy development and authorities seized the 4-year-old child from his loving parents’ arms and sent him to an orphanage.  Although adoption is illegal in Egypt (based on an innovation of Muhammad’s) there are state-approved ways for families to take custody of orphan children.  In the present case, however, the primary argument being used by the state against Shenouda’s adoptive parents’ legal attempts to reclaim the boy revolves around religion.  Because Islam teaches that every human is born as a sort of prototypical Muslim (until their parents conform them to their own religion), and because the religious identity of Shenouda’s biological parents is unknown, he must, therefore, be considered Muslim; and entrusting Muslim children to non-Muslim parents is strictly forbidden.  Since being transferred to an overcrowded and underfed orphanage, the child was forcibly “returned” to Islam.  He was issued a birth certificate—marked “Muslim” under religion—and given an acceptable Muslim name, Yusuf.  Meanwhile, logic suggests that Shenouda was born to a Christian mother—or at least to a mother who thought Christians would best know how to raise her unwanted child.  Otherwise, why abandon the babe in a church?

Pakistan: A recent video report found that, although Christians make up only 1.6% of the Muslim nation’s population, they account for 90% of Islamabad’s sanitation workers. This is thought to be in keeping with Koran injunctions, especially Koran 9:29, which calls on Muslims to fight “the People of the Book,” meaning Christians and Jews, until they pay tribute (jizya) and are always made to feel “fully humbled.”  This is also why many sanitation job listings in Pakistan often advertise “for non-Muslims only”: working in garbage all day is for “infidels,” not ritually clean Muslims.  Another report sheds light on this institution:

Most sanitation workers in Pakistan are Christian….  Christian sanitation workers are routinely called derogatory terms such as Choora [slur for “Christian” and/or “low class” people]… and face sexual harassment, discrimination, nonpayment of salaries, irregular work contracts and extortion by senior officers….  Christian workers, particularly women, also have to face harassment by Muslim supervisors…  They know that these poor workers cannot do anything against them, hence the harassment is continuing unabated … Social security law guarantees compensation for those who die on duty, but the families of Christian sanitation workers are not paid the full amount.

In one instance, a Christian sanitary worker died because observant Muslim doctors who were fasting for Ramadan recoiled from treating the “unclean” infidel after the 30-year-old fell unconscious while cleaning sewage and was rushed to a governmental hospital.   “The doctors refused to treat him because they were fasting and said my son was napaak [unclean],” said the mother of the deceased.

In another instance, a 20-year-old Christian sanitation worker was murdered after he refused to work on Sunday due to religious reasons.  “Many Muslims find it hard to accept refusal by a ‘lowly’ Christian,” a Christian rights activist said. “This is not the first time a Christian sanitary worker has been killed or subjected to violence for refusing to comply with unjust demands of persons from the Muslim majority.”

Qatar:  Although deemed by some Westerners as a relatively progressive Arab nation, Qatar continues to indoctrinate its children with hate for and violence against “infidels,” including Jews and Christians. In 2020, a study found that Qatari textbooks and curriculum promoted several hate-filled ideas against Jews and Christians.  On revisiting them in a more recent report, however, the same organization found that, while making some improvements in regards to how the other monotheists are portrayed, Qatari texts and curriculum were still problematic, including by teaching children the “great virtues” of jihad and martyrdom, as well as the importance of never befriending—but rather always hating—Jews, Christians, and all non-Muslims, whom it still refers to collectively as “infidels” (or kuffar, Islam’s natural born enemies).

The West Turns its Back on Persecuted Christians, Embraces Radical Muslims

The ‘Islamophobia’ Industry Goes Bankrupt

Turns out, Muslims—not evangelicals, Jews, or rednecks—are the most ‘Islamophobic’ demographic in America.

18

For long, the powers that be have insisted that Islamophobia—defined as “unfounded fear of and hostility towards Islam”—is the root of all problems between Muslims and non-Muslims in the West. Speaking last May, Joe Biden lamented that “so many Muslims [are] being targeted with violence. No one, no one should [be] discriminated against or be oppressed for their religious beliefs…. Muslims make our nation stronger every single day, even as they still face real challenges and threats in our society, including targeted violence and Islamophobia that exists.”

The accusation is that, based on a number of negative stereotypes concerning Muslims—for example, that they are violent, hostile, and uncivilized—Americans have come to dislike and fear Muslims; and this, in turn, makes Muslims resentful and eventually lash out.

A recent poll, however, has completely overturned this position (not, of course, that the powers that be will acknowledge it).  As it happens, Muslims—they who know Islam more than anyone else—are more Islamophobic than non-Muslims in America; they are more, not less, prone to believing that fellow Muslims are violent, hostile, and uncivilized.

The poll was conducted by the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding (ISPU), a Muslim think tank headquartered in Dearborn. Its findings were so inescapable that ISPU—whose entire existence revolves around presenting Muslims as victims of Islamophobia in America—had to conclude that, “over time, Islamophobia has declined among other groups but has increased among Muslims.”

Consider the following excerpts from the report (while taking certain words and phrases employed by the Muslim think tank—such as “tropes” and “false notions”—with a grain of salt):

Muslims, themselves, are by far the most Islamophobic group when it comes to the false notion that Muslims are more prone to violence than others. One-quarter of American Muslims (24%) somewhat or strongly agree with this trope, which is at least about two times more likely than other groups. In comparison, 9% of Jews, 8% of Catholics, 11% of Protestants, 12% of white Evangelicals, 13% of the nonaffiliated, and 9% of the general public agree with the idea that Muslims are more prone to violence than others….  Roughly one-quarter of Arab Muslims (23%) agree that Muslims are more prone to violence than others….

American Muslims (19%) are more likely to agree with this idea [that “most Muslims living in the US are hostile to the US”] than are Jews (4%), Protestants (10%), the nonaffiliated (7%), and the general public (8%).…

[Then there is] the erroneous idea that most Muslims living in the United States are less civilized than other groups. Again, we find that Muslims exhibit higher levels of endorsement of this trope with American Muslims nearly three times more likely than white Evangelicals to do so. Nearly one in five Muslims (19%) agree with this trope, compared with 5% of Jews, 6% of Catholics, 5% of Protestants, 7% of white Evangelicals, 5% of the nonaffiliated, and 5% of the general public. The 19% of Muslims who agree with this idea includes 11% who ‘strongly agree’ compared with 1-2% of all other groups surveyed.

These findings are eye opening to say the least.  Remember, the entire premise of Islamophobia is that, in their ignorance of “true Islam,” xenophobic Americans are prone to stereotyping Muslims as violent, hostile, and uncivilized.  Yet, behold the truth: no one segment of the American population sees Muslims as violent, hostile, and uncivilized as much as those who are best acquainted with everything to do with being Muslim—that is, Muslims themselves.

Perhaps it is fitting to close by returning to Biden, and his claims that Muslims are perpetual victims of Islamophobia and violence:  When, on August 5, 2022, a fourth Muslim man was killed in Albuquerque, Biden rushed to exploit these murders in furtherance of his narrative, tweeting: “These hateful attacks have no place in America,” thus implying American “Islamophobia” was the driver of these murders.

Then reality hit: the murderer was himself a Muslim—and thus one more reminder why Muslims are so Islamophobic, rightly fearing fellow Muslims.

We are always being admonished to listen to Muslims.  When it comes to evaluating which aspects of Islam are “tropes” and which are not, perhaps we should start.

FBI Contractor Spied on GOP Congressman to Protect Muslim Brotherhood

The ex-CIA officer’s company also worked for the Democratic National Committee.

The death of Qatari operative Jamal Khashoggi has been the subject of front page headlines, press conferences, a documentary, and speeches by top figures including Joe Biden.

Qatar employing an ex-CIA officer who set out to spy on a Republican congressman to help protect the Muslim Brotherhood has received virtually no coverage in the media.

The Washington Post, which platformed Khashoggi and labored to turn the old friend of Osama bin Laden into a martyr, did not feel that Qatar spying on a congressman was worth more coverage than rerunning the AP’s wire story. The New York Times didn’t even do that much.

The AP’s story alleged that Qatar employed Kevin Chalker, a former CIA officer, and his company, Global Risk Advisors, to target opponents of the Islamic terror state which has ties to everything from 9/11 to Hamas to the Taliban. That included “pitching a sprawling covert influence operation to damage the reputations of U.S. officials perceived as Qatar’s enemies.”

One of those “enemies” of the Islamic terror state may have been Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart.

In 2015, the Republican congressman and Senator Ted Cruz introduced the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act. This would have been extremely inconvenient to Qatar, which hosts Muslim Brotherhood figures and backs the Islamist expansionist movement whose goal is to take over countries and impose the brutality of sharia law on their people.

Including the United States.

The bill was reintroduced again in 2017, co-sponsored by a number of House Republicans, including Rep. Louie Gohmert. While the bill never became law, Rep. Diaz-Balart’s persistence appeared to worry Qatar and the former spooks doing its dirty work.

The AP story reveals that Global Risk Advisors created “Project ENDGAME” and “boasted in internal records that it had ‘developed an approach to a close contact of the congressman’ who sponsored legislation that year to designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization.”

“’Developed an approach’” is intelligence jargon for seeking to recruit a potential asset.”

At least one previous GRA effort had allegedly involved a Facebook “honey pot” operation.

While GRA appears to have done a lot of work for Qatar, the AP revealed that “its affiliates have won small contracts with the FBI for a rope-training course and tech consulting work for the Democratic National Committee.”

GRA also appears to have some employees who have gone on to work for Democrats. It may be no coincidence that the two known American targets of GRA operations, Rep. Diaz-Balart and former RNC finance chair Elliot Broidy are both high-profile Republicans. And Democrat media groups and reporters were deeply involved in promoting Broidy’s hacked emails.

Qatar has cultivated Republican contacts, but through its Muslim Brotherhood groups in the United States, it has become an integral part of the Democratic political machine. Unless new names are revealed, Democrat complicity in foreign operations against American officials by an enemy nation becomes a burning question that must urgently be resolved.

The involvement of the FBI is also troubling as it’s the Bureau that is investigating possible misconduct by its former contractor. And as we’ve seen with Russiagate, its personnel have a history of covering up the sins of their contractors and informants to protect their credibility.

In echoes of the Steele Dossier, GRA had allegedly employed British ex-intel officers to spy on the American team conducting a bid for a soccer tournament and used a “fake Facebook profile of an attractive young woman to communicate with the target”.

Was this what Qatar’s assets had in mind for a congressman?

What ought to be an explosive story has instead been studiously ignored by the media because it exposes its own complicity and touches the third rail of the Muslim Brotherhood’s involvement.

The intersection between an ex-CIA figure, an FBI contractor, Qatar and the Muslim Brotherhood also raises the question of Islamist infiltration of the intelligence community.

The AP story on GRA’s work for Qatar notes that the Brotherhood’s Yusuf al-Qaradawi delivered a sermon after Qatar beat out America’s bid for a soccer tournament that the intel operatives had been hired to assure in which he said “Qatar had humbled the United States.”

Qaradawi had previously predicted that, “we will conquer America” and declared that, “those killed fighting the American forces are martyrs”. Serving Qatar ultimately means serving the enablers of Qaradawi and the Muslim Brotherhood’s quest to destroy America.

The complete lack of interest in the AP’s scoop by either the media or the political class also reveals how deeply Qatar, an ally of Iran, a state sponsor of the Muslim Brotherhood and the hand behind Al Jazeera, controls Washington D.C. and the journalists of the mainstream media.

It also offers a peek into how enemies of this country were able to take over Washington D.C.

Kevin Chalker, the ex-CIAer, and Global Risk Advisors came up during the hack of former Republican National Committee deputy finance chair Elliot Broidy. Broidy’s emails were passed on to media operatives which described them as being “leaked”. Broidy’s lawsuits since have alleged that Qatar hired Global Risk Advisors to “coordinate” cyberattacks which led to the hacks of his emails which were then distributed to the media by a PR firm working for Qatar.

The media, which seized on the documents to damage former President Trump, and appeared to be coordinating with operatives working for Qatar, ignored or dismissed the accusations.

And previous AP reporting suggested GRA was engaging in behavior that could be interpreted as treason, after noting that “one Global Risk Advisors document lists the United States as a ‘threat’ to Qatar”.

Despite these revelations, the Democratic National Committee has failed to issue a statement disavowing GRA, laying out GRA’s work on its behalf and committing to ending that work.

Nor has anyone in the media pursued DNC officials to push for an answer.

Global Risk Advisers, to all appearances, appear to be operating normally. And the same media outlets which cried endlessly about Russian operations are keeping quiet.

Even allegations of spying on a Republican congressman aren’t about to change that.

Meanwhile, Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart introduced the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act once again in 2021. Senator Ted Cruz reintroduced the Senate version: co-sponsored by Senator Ron Johnson. After 7 years, the bill has yet to pass. Will the revelation that Qatar appears to have targeted the bill’s sponsor to protect the Muslim Brotherhood change that?

Or will Qatar, the Muslim and a band of mercenary spooks continue to terrorize Congress?

Pro-ISIS New Jersey Muslim Arrested for Synagogue Terror Plot

"So the motive of this attack is hatred towards Jews”

Remember this last week?

The FBI’s Newark office issued a stark warning Thursday as it announced it had received “credible information” about a nonspecific but widescale threat to synagogues in New Jersey.

The threat came from the likeliest source. As I have mentioned before, Muslim terror plots keep popping up, they don’t succeed so we don’t pay attention to them. But just because we don’t care about Islamic terrorism doesn’t mean it’s forgotten about us.

Omar Alkattoul had some thoughts about Jews.

“I am the attacker and I would like to introduce myself. . . I am a Muslim with so many regrets but I can assure you this attack is not one of them and Insha’Allah many more attacks like these against the enemy of Allah and the pigs and monkeys will come.”

Alkattoul sent the document to at least five other people, and allegedly described his motivation in the planned attack as “hatred towards Jews and their heinous acts.”

How long until the media blames mental illness?

“The Jews are in fact a very powerful group in the west which is why western countries today shill for them on top of the murtadeen in Saudi Arabia and every Arab country.”

Murtadeen means apostates. As we will see, Omar Alkattoul has some ISIS sympathies.

This attack was just to remind the Jews that as long as 1 Muslim remains in this world they will never live a pleasant life until the Muslims in Palestine, Syria, West Africa, and South Asia are living a pleasant life. The Jews support terror against the muslimeen and they always have . . . .  So the motive of this attack is hatred towards Jews and their heinous acts and I don’t want anyone to tell me for a second that “not all Jews support terror against Muslims” yes they do! They have since day one. Their Torah justifies their acts and let’s keep in mind it was a Jew that tried to kill the nebi SAW.

That last is a reference to Mohammed.

The manifesto is classical antisemitism. Islamic terrorists have tended toward martyrdom videos, the manifesto is more of the sort of thing that school shooters and 4chan white supremacists tend to do before an attack. But Omar is 18, quite possibly born in this country, maybe even raised here, and he’s imitating them in tactics, even as his message and worldview is the traditional Islamic one.

Can we discuss this? I strongly suspect we can’t. The liberal Jewish groups who have recently started talking about antisemitism aren’t going to want to touch this with a ten-foot pole.

Muslim antisemitism is still politically incorrect. Even though it poses an existential threat.

Other sections of the Document contained the following titles: • “Why hatred towards Jews is a good thing even if they’re not Zionists” • “The right-wing ideology of the Jews” • “The term ‘anti-Semitic’ and it’s true meaning” • “The ‘Holocaust’” • “The ‘good’ Jews,” in which ALKATTOUL states, “Good jews do not exist unless if they convert to Islam. . . . I hate jews based on their actions and their religion that justifies the actions they do.”

So much for J Street and JVP.

This guy was busted, but how many more of them are there out there?

ALKATTOUL told Individual-1, “I actually started writing it a long time ago. If you want I will link it. It’s in the context of an attack on Jews.”

According to Individual-2, ALKATTOUL shared a link to the Document in the server with four individuals in addition to Individual-2. Individual-2 stated that he viewed the Document. Individual-2 also stated that the server may have had 20 members at one point, and when ALKATTOUL mentioned the Document, other users commented “good job” or “proud of you.”

On or about October 5, 2022, ALKATTOUL used a different social media application to send Individual-2 an audio recording of ALKATTOUL speaking in Arabic. The recording has been translated into English as follows:

“With Allah’s permission, we will conquer Andalusia, O French! And we will conquer Jerusalem, O Jews. With Allah’s permission, he will slaughter you, O swine and monkeys, Allah damn you. And I pledge allegiance to Abu-Hasan al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi, may Allah protect him; and I will obey him during hard times and good times. With Allah’s permission, the Jews will be frightened; the promise is near.”

Abu-Hasan al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi is an ISIS caliph. It’s odd that the DOJ makes no mention of the ISIS angle. But there’s probably political reasons why the Biden DOJ isn’t eager to mention ISIS in the context of an American attack.

The manifesto mentions that,  . . “when I say “heroes and lions” I am referring to Osama Bin Laden, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, Abu Bakr l-baghdadi, Abu Muhammad al-Adani, Anwar alAwlaki, Abu Omar al-Shishan, Mullah Omar and Abdullah Azzam[7] . . . and of course the lone wolf muwahideen who have made the kuffar shook”

And that he supports violence against non-Muslims in general.

“I as a Muslim and disbeliever in the taghut, I support terrorism against the kuffar and the enemies of the deen.”

And there are at least some international Jihadi fingerprints all over this

“ALKATTOUL stated that he had communicated with an individual (“Individual3”), who ALKATTOUL believed was affiliated with al-Qaeda and located in Pakistan, and an individual in Germany (“Individual-4”), who introduced ALKATTOUL to Individual-3.”

The manifesto appears to be in the style of the Breivik and 4chan manifestos. And Omar Alkattoul uses language strongly suggestive of the chan ecosystem.

On or about August 29, 2022, ALKATTOUL sent a private message on Application-3 to Individual-2, stating, “As a Muslim I support Dylann Roof because he went in a n****r Christian Janiya type church and killed 10 Christcucks while being an atheist, a lot Muslims in the west should learn from him.”

“Christcucks” is alt-right neo-Nazi chanspeak. It’s another indicator that neo-Nazis and Islamists are cross-pollinating each other.

Officials: Saudis tell US that Iran may attack the kingdom

WASHINGTON (AP) — Saudi Arabia has shared intelligence with American officials that suggests Iran could be preparing for an imminent attack on the kingdom, three U.S. officials said Tuesday.

The heightened concerns about a potential attack on Saudi Arabia come as the Biden administration is criticizing Tehran for its crackdown on widespread protests and condemning it for sending hundreds of drones — as well as technical support — to Russia for use in its war in Ukraine.

“We are concerned about the threat picture, and we remain in constant contact through military and intelligence channels with the Saudis,” the National Security Council said in a statement. “We will not hesitate to act in the defense of our interests and partners in the region.”

Saudi Arabia did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Nor did Iran's mission to the United Nations.

One of the officials who confirmed the intelligence sharing described it as a credible threat of an attack “soon or within 48 hours.” No U.S. embassy or consulate in the region has issued alerts or guidance to Americans in Saudi Arabia or elsewhere in the Middle East based on the intelligence. The officials were not authorized to comment publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity.

Asked about reports of the intelligence shared by the Saudis, Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder, the Pentagon press secretary, said U.S. military officials “are concerned about the threat situation in the region."

"We’re in regular contact with our Saudi partners, in terms of what information they may have to provide on that front,” Ryder said. “But what we’ve said before, and I’ll repeat it, is that we will reserve the right to protect and defend ourselves no matter where our forces are serving, whether in Iraq or elsewhere.”

State Department spokesperson Ned Price said America was “concerned about the threat picture,” without elaborating.

The Wall Street Journal first reported on the Saudis sharing the intelligence earlier on Tuesday. Iran has alleged without providing evidence that Saudi Arabia and other rivals are fomenting the dissent on its streets by ordinary Iranians.

Of particular ire is protest coverage by Iran International, a London-based, Farsi-language satellite news channel once majority-owned by a Saudi national.

The U.S. and Saudis blamed Iran in 2019 of being behind a major attack in eastern Saudi Arabia, which halved the oil-rich kingdom’s production and caused energy prices to spike. The Iranians denied they were behind the attack, but the same triangle-shaped, bomb-carrying drones used in that attack are now being deployed by Russian forces in their war on Ukraine.

The Saudis have also been hit repeatedly in recent years by drones, missiles and mortars launched by the Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen. Saudi Arabia formed a coalition to battle the Houthis in 2015 and has been internationally criticized for its airstrikes in the war, which have killed scores of civilians.

In recent weeks, the Biden administration has imposed sanctions on Iranian officials for the brutal crackdown on demonstrators after the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini in September after her arrest by Iran's morality police. The administration has also hit Iran with sanctions for supplying drones to Russia for use in its war in Ukraine.

At least 288 people have been killed and 14,160 arrested during the protests, according to the group Human Rights Activists in Iran. Demonstrations have continued, even as the feared paramilitary Revolutionary Guard has warned young Iranians to stop.

Iran already launched a series of attacks targeting Kurdish separatist positions in northern Iraq amid the protests, killing at least 16 people, including an American citizen.

U.S. relations with Saudi Arabia have also been strained after the Riyadh-led alliance of oil producing nations, OPEC+, announced in October that it would cut production by 2 million barrels per day starting in November.

The White House has said it is reviewing its relationship with the Saudis over the move. The administration said the production cut is effectively helping another OPEC+ member, Russia, pad its coffers as it continues its war in Ukraine, now in its ninth month.

White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby on Tuesday reiterated that the administration remains concerned that Iran may also provide Russia with surface-to-surface missiles.

“We haven't seen that concern bear out, but it's a concern we have,” Kirby said.

Even as the U.S. and others raise concerns about possible Iranian action, the administration has not ruled out the possibility of reviving the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, which was brokered by the Obama administration and scrapped in 2018 by the Trump administration.

The U.S. special envoy to Iran, Robert Malley, said on Monday that the administration was not currently focused on the deal, which has been stalled since August.

Still, Malley refused to declare the deal dead and said the administration “makes no apology” for “trying to do everything we can to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon.”

The deal had provided Tehran with billions of dollars in sanctions relief in exchange for the country agreeing to roll back its nuclear program. It includes caps on enrichment and how much material Iran can stockpile and limits the operation of advanced centrifuges needed to enrich.
