Hamas leaders are billionaires, rolling in the dough

Can someone explain to the rest of us why the leaders of Hamas, the world's evilest terrorist organization which has just murdered 1,400 innocent people, are actual billionaires living their best lives in Qatar?

According to the New York Post:

While their people languish in poverty and are treated as human shields, the leaders of Hamas live billionaire lifestyles.

The terror group’s three top leaders alone are worth a staggering $11 billion between them and enjoy a life of luxury in the sanctuary of the emirate of Qatar.

The emirate has long welcomed the leaders of the terror group and installed them in its luxury hotels and villas at the same time as hosting a vast American military presence.

They need to be like Osama bin Laden in the wake of the 9/11 terror attacks, wearing rags and hiding in some stinking cave, staring at their stashes of child porn, not living large in Vegas-like Qatar.

Hamas runs an office in Qatar’s capital, Doha, and leaders Ismail Haniyeh, Moussa Abu Marzuk and Khaled Mashal live a luxurious lifestyle.

They have been seen at its diplomatic club, photographed on private jets and traveled widely. The leadership would have been there for the 2022 soccer World Cup.

Instead, Hamas is loaded with characters like this guy, Hamas leader Khalid Mishal, who's worth more than $2 billion, living in the lap of luxury, and getting glamour shots in Vanity Fair and this magazine cover satire.

Why the heck is that going on? The 1,400 torture-murders they planned and executed in Israel, and the 200 hostages they are holding now in their filthy tunnels under Gaza City pretty well puts them in the same category as Mexico's evil cartels. Burning babies and beheading 10-year-olds is what they do, not what normal people do. They are the vilest of criminals and need to be completely rubbed out.

Yet nobody in Qatar seems to be upset by this evil ensconced at the heart of their regime, nobody wants them out, they and their billions seem to be as protected as ever.

It's the kind of thing that makes Qatar a state sponsor of terror, but we don't see any action from the Biden administration to make that declaration. The U.S. and all civilized nations need to come down hard on these maggots, lay down the law for Qatar, pull U.S. troops from that state, and above all, get hold of Hamas's ill-gotten gains to pay for reparations to Israel. They aren't entitled to that money now no matter how they got hold of it.

How'd Hamas get that money, anyway? We know they don't produce anything. We know that people in Gaza, which they rule over the way Mexico's cartels rule over some parts of Mexico, are dirt poor. The only possibilities seem to be foreign aid, whether from the U.S., Iran, hostile states such as China, or various Arab princelings, or perhaps drug dealing and human smuggling, the way Mexico's cartels do it. The U.S. needs to start defunding these thugs now.

Fortunately, one baby step has been taken by a GOP representative in Congress, according to the Post:

Now Republican Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogles is co-sponsoring a bill that would strip Qatar of its status as a key US ally, The Post has learned, unless it kicks out the Hamas leadership.

A lot more needs to be done to put these animals down. They are obviously in some kind of gang or cartel dynamic as a quasi state actor, same as the cartels, and fueled by their ill-gotten gains. The U.S. knows how to issue sanctions and seize assets of bad state actors and make them scream. We don't see too much of that going on as Joe Biden calls for a ceasefire or pause in order to allow Hamas to regroup.

It's an outrageously weak response, given the resources of the U.S. government. There shouldn't be any billionaires right now among the Hamas elite. They need to be running and hiding. Instead, they are rolling in the dough as their minions conduct anti-Semitic attacks and organize demonstrations.

These people are bin Laden, ISIS, and the cartels rolled into one. It's time to take out the trash.

Joe Biden Pledges $16 Billion in Federal Money to Improve Amtrak

U.S. President Joe Biden speaks at the Baltimore and Potomac (B&P) Tunnel North Portal on January 30, 2023 in Baltimore, Maryland. The tunnel is 150 years old and is the biggest chokepoint in the rail system between New York City and Washington, DC and frequently causes delays of Amtrak, Maryland …

President Joe Biden pledged $16 billion in federal money to improve Amtrak in the nation’s Northeast Corridor, including New York, Boston, and Washington, DC.

Biden announced the pledge at an event in Delaware on Monday, where he said that the train system desperately needs improvement and repairs. He cited his personal experience of waiting on a stopped train on his way home.

“I know how much it matters,” he said.

“How can you be a leading country in the world and have a second-rate infrastructure?” he asked. “It’s not possible.”

Biden also attacked Republicans, accusing them of slashing Amtrak budgets.

“This is the USA, for God’s sake. We’re better than that, and now we’re proving it,” he said.

“They’re trying to make it slower … and less safe,” he added. “We’re not going to let them stop the progress we’re making. I truly believe this country’s about to take off. For the first time in a long time, we’re bringing pride back.”

According to CNN, the Biden administration said it “selected projects including aging bridges and tunnels in need of replacement and said the $16.4 billion includes funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.”

A White House official further said that the funds will go to upgrading the “aging infrastructure on the nation’s most heavily traveled rail corridor to increase train speeds, reduce passenger delays, and create good-paying union jobs.”

“The largest slice of funding will go to the underwater train tunnels connecting New York and New Jersey. The Gateway Hudson River Tunnel – which the Amtrak CEO has said would cause a ‘meltdown’ if it failed – is more than a century old and is corroding after flooding during Superstorm Sandy more than a decade ago,” noted CNN.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg backed the funding.

“Americans need and deserve world-class rail, which is the president’s vision,” Buttigieg said. “But for decades now, we have underinvested as a country in passenger rail in the United States.”

The president’s pledge comes after he issued an executive order holding Norfolk Southern accountable for its involvement in the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio. The executive order occurred seven months after the incident.

“My Administration has mobilized a robust, multi-agency effort to support the people of East Palestine, Ohio, and surrounding communities,” Biden’s order said.

Report: Juarez Drug Gangs Planned Halloween Day Killing Spree in Mexico

Authorities in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juarez are claiming that various drug gangs in the city planned a Halloween day killing spree to get the city’s murders to more than 100 for the month of October.

This week, the Chihuahua Attorney General’s Office revealed that they obtained communications between members of various drug gangs where they plotted to carry out several murders on Halloween Day to raise the murder statistics for Juarez to more than 100, El Diario de Juarez reported, citing government sources. Ciudad Juarez is immediately south of El Paso, Texas, and has historically been a hub of cartel activity, with several criminal organizations having a presence there. These include the Juarez Cartel, the Sinaloa Cartel, and Cartel Jalisco New Generation, among others.

The claim is based on a series of messages between drug gang bosses that law enforcement managed to intercept. The report does not detail which drug cartels or gangs the messages were between. However, Ciudad Juarez has a long history of cartel violence. Most recently, the violence in Juarez is tied to fights over the control of not only the drug markets but also the human smuggling market and extortion operations.

In response to the intelligence, law enforcement officials reached out to the Mexican military, and they increased the intensity of police patrols virtually flooding the streets with cops to dissuade more killings.

On Halloween day, cartel gunmen managed to kill three people in the morning and six in the afternoon, El Diario de Juarez reported. The murder statistics showed 94 killings for the month, making October the fourth deadliest. Despite the high figure, cartel leaders did not surpass the 100-murder marker that authorities claim the criminals were looking to break.

According to a source within CBP, Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents apprehended a single group of migrants that crossed the U.S./Mexico border into San Miguel, Arizona. An initial headcount at the crossing scene on Saturday showed the group consisted of 1,200 migrants from across the globe. Saturday’s group is one of two large groups of more than 1,000 migrants to cross the border near San Miguel since November 1.

The small census-designated area of San Miguel is now one of the busiest crossing points for large migrant groups in the Tucson Border Patrol Sector. Located on the Tohono Oʼodham Nation reservation, the small community is home to roughly 207 inhabitants as of the 2020 census. According to the source, not authorized to speak to the media, the recent large groups of migrants are merely surrendering to Border Patrol agents in hopes of gaining release into the United States to pursue asylum claims.

The source told Breitbart Texas most of the migrants arrested on Saturday will likely achieve that goal and be released to non-government migrant shelters in the coming days.

“There’s just no more room at the inn to hold them and no mechanism in place to remove them to their home country fast enough — we’re overwhelmed,” the source emphasized. In all, more than 2,000 migrants were apprehended within the Tucson Sector by Saturday’s end.

Since October 1, more than 60,000 migrants have poured into the United States in the Tucson Sector, making it the busiest sector in the nation, according to the source. San Miguel is just one crossing point located within the sector experiencing a surge of migrant crossings.

Breitbart Texas posted near Lukeville, Arizona, recently and observed multiple large migrant groups crossing into the United States daily. The migrant groups consisted of nationals from the People’s Republic of China, India, Pakistan, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Senegal, and a host of other migrants from across the globe.

Saturday’s large group was transported to a nearby soft-sided Border Patrol processing facility in Tucson. As reported by Breitbart Texas, the facility has recently been renovated to accommodate the increase in migrant apprehensions within the sector. Its initial operating cost was more than $7 million per month.

The total value of the contract for the facility built in 2021 was more than $100 million. Due to capacity issues and a migrant surge that has only worsened, the source says the monthly operational costs have nearly doubled since the expansion project.

PIEDRAS NEGRAS, Coahuila — Several groups of migrants entered the water of the Rio Grande headed to Eagle Pass, Texas, despite repeated attempts to deter their access by Mexico’s National Guard soldiers. The migrants thwarted the soldiers’ attempts to capture them, ultimately entering the water and heading straight into the layers of concertina wire and cargo containers placed along the United States bank of the river.

As Breitbart Texas looked on from the Mexican bank of the Rio Grande on Friday, the migrants ultimately defeated the wire barrier and entered the United States.

The migrants, some carrying children, struggled with swift currents but managed to hang onto the infants and toddlers they were carrying. In all, several small groups of migrants, totaling nearly 100, managed to cross the river and breach several layers of concertina wire. The migrants used blankets and other debris strewn along the United States bank of the Rio Grande to shield themselves from the wire’s sharp edges. They pushed through successfully, entering the small border community of Eagle Pass.

Once across the wire, the migrants were met by Texas Army National Guard soldiers and a lone Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol trooper who guided the migrants to a nearby staging area staffed by the Border Patrol. There, the migrants were handed over to federal authorities for transport to a nearby Border Patrol processing facility.

As the migrant groups converged to scale the wire, several other groups unsuccessfully explored options to defeat the cargo containers lining the bank farther upriver. One group of migrants was deterred from entering the river by the Mexican National Guard soldiers once additional troops arrived to assist.

Despite law enforcement efforts in Mexico to reduce the number of migrants arriving at Piedras Negras aboard freight trains, hundreds of migrants are still arriving in the city daily at the city’s Central de Autobuses — blocks away from the Rio Grande.

On Friday, Breitbart Texas visited multiple crossing points in the Mexican border city of Piedras Negras and observed discarded CBP One applications and foreign identity documents from Colombia, Venezuelan, Nicaraguan, and Ecuadorian nationals littering one of the busiest crossing points south of Piedras Negras.

The migrants leave behind the documents to bolster asylum claims in the United States as the documents offer proof some have been granted refuge in a third country prior to reaching the U.S./Mexico border.

The migrants are also leaving behind detailed maps provided by several international and Mexican humanitarian organizations that detail specific travel routes to the U.S./Mexico border from as far away as Panama. One flyer provided to the migrants from “Amigos del Tren,” or “Friends of the Train,” in English, provides the location of freight train routes through Mexico covered by Ferromex — the major freight train company in Mexico.

In addition to travel routes, the maps and flyers from Doctors Without Borders, the United Nations, and the International Red Cross also provide addresses and phone numbers for migrant shelters across Mexico and Central America. The flyers offer tips to stay safe and warn of hazards along the migration routes to the U.S./Mexico border.

According to the Border Patrol, during the last full week of October, more than 8,000 migrants were apprehended in the Del Rio Sector. Most migrant apprehensions in the sector occur in and around Eagle Pass. More than 1,000 migrants managed to elude apprehension during the same time frame. Seven migrant deaths were recorded during this period as well. The agency also apprehended eighteen large migrant groups, numbering more than 100 strong.
