Since the 9/11 attacks, Qatar has become the largest foreign donor to American academia, which has not always bothered to reveal the source. A study by the Institute for Anti-Semitism Studies found a direct link between the amount of donations and the presence of pro-Palestinian groups on campuses.
Modern day Islam is just as oppressive and dangerous as was 8th century Islam. That’s because culturally, Islam still enforces the same tenets they did 1,200 years ago. What are some of those tenets, practices, and ways of life? Islam enforces edicts against homosexuality to the point of executing homosexuals. As for women, of the ten worst countries for women’s rights, seven of them are Muslim. The Quran clearly states that women are subordinate to men, and men may beat their wives (Quran 4:34). With Islam, there’s a fine line between oppressing women and enslaving them. Islam practices female genital mutilation, a barbaric practice (look it up and be disgusted). Other realities for women in Islamic countries include: women must be escorted in public, largely because it’s too dangerous for them to walk alone (rape and assaults are common); women must cover their bodies from head to foot; and very few education opportunities which result in limited employment opportunities.

I have for years drawn attention here to the billions of dollars that the leaders of Hamas have stolen from the sums provided by foreign donors, money that was meant to support the people of Gaza. Now I am delighted that The Daily Mail (UK), The National Post (Canada), the Wall Street Journal, the New York Post, and Fox News have all given the story of the three Hamas billionaires extensive coverage. While the people of Gaza live in poverty and have suffered under the horrors of Hamas, the terror group’s leaders apparently are living high on the hog.

Reports have long claimed that one of the Hamas leaders’ bases of operations has been the Four Seasons Hotel in Doha, Qatar. In 2015, Mashaal held a press conference in the hotel’s ballroom, where he attacked Israel. And it was said he spent a lot of his time at the property. Four Seasons touts its property as being “reimagined with modern grandeur and sparkling with sunlight and sea views. From the elegant lobby to energetic restaurants and lounges, our beachfront urban retreat has been transformed into a vibrant hotspot.”
In a statement to Fox News, the company says the “Four Seasons confirms that Ismail Haniyeh is not living at or staying at Four Seasons Hotel Doha. Information circulating on social media suggesting otherwise is not true.” Requests for comment from Fox News about other Hamas leaders have not yet been answered.
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz has introduced legislation, “The Hamas Sanctions Act,” that would block Hamas’ ability to find safe havens abroad, including in Qatar or Turkey. The legislation would impose sanctions on “hotels, landlords, banks, and similar businesses in allied countries that provide services to Hamas leaders,” and would potentially classify countries, like Qatar and Turkey, “as state sponsors of terrorism for hosting Hamas.”…
“The United States has targeted nearly 1,000 individuals and entities connected to terrorism and terrorist financing by the Iranian regime and its proxies, including Hamas, Hezbollah and other Iran-aligned terrorist groups in the region.”…
The three Hamas billionaires have stolen, from the people of Gaza, eleven billion dollars. They luxuriate in their residences, and luxury suites, in Doha, as well as in their villas in Beirut and Istanbul, where they have been photographed lolling on beds, working out in private gyms, flying about in their private planes, eating at the most expensive restaurants, completely indifferent to the conditions in which the people of Gaza live. Think of how many apartments, electricity plants, water purification plants could have been built in Gaza with those eleven billion dollars. The only people trying to help the Gazans directly — thus avoiding sending aid through the thieving Hamas rulers — are the Israelis, who until October 7 had been providing jobs to 20,000 people from Gaza, who earned between three and five times as much working in Israel than they could have earned at home, even assuming there were jobs to be had in the Strip.
The monstrous theft by Hamas leaders of aid meant for all Gazans is likely to arouse more indignation in the outside world than their record of supporting terrorism. For their vast wealth, stolen from the people of Gaza, and their living the high life while leaving the Gazans to wallow in their misery — a misery made much worse by the atrocities those leaders set loose on October 7 — is an outrage easy to grasp.
There should be posters, with the faces of these Hamas leaders, and the amounts they have stolen from fellow Arabs in Gaza, held up by pro-Israeli counter-protesters everywhere. Those will get attention in a certain segment of the population in the West that, I regret to say, posters of kidnapped Israelis will not.

According to the New York Post:
While their people languish in poverty and are treated as human shields, the leaders of Hamas live billionaire lifestyles.
The terror group’s three top leaders alone are worth a staggering $11 billion between them and enjoy a life of luxury in the sanctuary of the emirate of Qatar.
The emirate has long welcomed the leaders of the terror group and installed them in its luxury hotels and villas at the same time as hosting a vast American military presence.
They need to be like Osama bin Laden in the wake of the 9/11 terror attacks, wearing rags and hiding in some stinking cave, staring at their stashes of child porn, not living large in Vegas-like Qatar.
Hamas runs an office in Qatar’s capital, Doha, and leaders Ismail Haniyeh, Moussa Abu Marzuk and Khaled Mashal live a luxurious lifestyle.
They have been seen at its diplomatic club, photographed on private jets and traveled widely. The leadership would have been there for the 2022 soccer World Cup.
Instead, Hamas is loaded with characters like this guy, Hamas leader Khalid Mishal, who's worth more than $2 billion, living in the lap of luxury, and getting glamour shots in Vanity Fair and this magazine cover satire.
Why the heck is that going on? The 1,400 torture-murders they planned and executed in Israel, and the 200 hostages they are holding now in their filthy tunnels under Gaza City pretty well puts them in the same category as Mexico's evil cartels. Burning babies and beheading 10-year-olds is what they do, not what normal people do. They are the vilest of criminals and need to be completely rubbed out.
Yet nobody in Qatar seems to be upset by this evil ensconced at the heart of their regime, nobody wants them out, they and their billions seem to be as protected as ever.
It's the kind of thing that makes Qatar a state sponsor of terror, but we don't see any action from the Biden administration to make that declaration. The U.S. and all civilized nations need to come down hard on these maggots, lay down the law for Qatar, pull U.S. troops from that state, and above all, get hold of Hamas's ill-gotten gains to pay for reparations to Israel. They aren't entitled to that money now no matter how they got hold of it.
How'd Hamas get that money, anyway? We know they don't produce anything. We know that people in Gaza, which they rule over the way Mexico's cartels rule over some parts of Mexico, are dirt poor. The only possibilities seem to be foreign aid, whether from the U.S., Iran, hostile states such as China, or various Arab princelings, or perhaps drug dealing and human smuggling, the way Mexico's cartels do it. The U.S. needs to start defunding these thugs now.
Fortunately, one baby step has been taken by a GOP representative in Congress, according to the Post:
Now Republican Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogles is co-sponsoring a bill that would strip Qatar of its status as a key US ally, The Post has learned, unless it kicks out the Hamas leadership.
A lot more needs to be done to put these animals down. They are obviously in some kind of gang or cartel dynamic as a quasi state actor, same as the cartels, and fueled by their ill-gotten gains. The U.S. knows how to issue sanctions and seize assets of bad state actors and make them scream. We don't see too much of that going on as Joe Biden calls for a ceasefire or pause in order to allow Hamas to regroup.
It's an outrageously weak response, given the resources of the U.S. government. There shouldn't be any billionaires right now among the Hamas elite. They need to be running and hiding. Instead, they are rolling in the dough as their minions conduct anti-Semitic attacks and organize demonstrations.
These people are bin Laden, ISIS, and the cartels rolled into one. It's time to take out the trash.

Defund the Soros Hamas Insurrection
Congress can close the ‘terror loophole’ behind pro-Hamas riots in New York.

On October 18, pro-terrorist insurrectionists stormed the United States Capitol after a hate rally by two anti-Israel groups: IfNotNow and Jewish Voice for Peace. Both hate groups had issued statements that either justified or rationalized the Hamas atrocities against Israelis.
IfNotNow’s statement after the Hamas rapes, killings and kidnappings argued that, “we cannot and will not say today’s actions by Palestinian militants are unprovoked. Every day under Israel’s apartheid system is a provocation.” Jewish Voice for Peace described the Hamas attacks as an incident in which “Palestinian fighters from Gaza launched an unprecedented assault” in response to Israeli “oppression” which is the real “source of all this violence”.
The pro-Hamas insurrectionists rally for a ‘ceasefire’ that would allow Hamas to attack again had come knowing that their actions were illegal and over 400 of them had intended to be arrested. Over 300 eventually were arrested for their insurrection in the Capitol’s Canon rotunda. Three of the extremists were taken into custody for assaulting police officers.
IfNotNow has a long history of getting its activists arrested to support terrorists and JVP has previously promoted events featuring terrorists and those arrested included key organization figures like Alissa Wise: a top JVP official who has supported terrorists and engaged in sustained harassment of Jewish people over their support for the Jewish State.
The Capitol Insurrection was one of a number of illegal rallies held by these hate groups including an attempt to take over New York’s Grand Central Station on the Sabbath which also led to multiple arrests. Participants included May Ye: a Chinese-American activist from Maine who claimed that she “became a rabbi to be a Jewish voice for Palestinian liberation”.
Both groups, like much of the pro-terror network, had benefited heavily from Soros funding.
The If Not Now Education Fund, the 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit arm of the 501(c)(4) extremist organization, had received two sets of two year grants from the Soros Open Society Foundations totaling $400,000 beginning in 2019 and running until 2023. JVP had also taken in $650,000 from OSF with multi-year grants beginning in 2017 and running through 2023. Like IfNotNow, JVP is a 501(c)(3) and has a 501(c)(4) arm. Both benefited from recent Soros grants.
The illegal pro-terrorist activities of both JVP and IfNotNow, as well as many other groups in the anti-Israel network, reflects the refusal of the IRS to enforce the tax code against the Left.
The IRS had previously found that the tax code bans funding of anti-war groups or any organization whose “primary activity is the sponsoring of…protest demonstrations in which demonstrators are urged to commit violations of local ordinances and breaches of public order.”
Such organizations don’t “qualify for exemption under section 501(c)(3) or (4) of the Code.”
IfNotNow and other anti-Israel protest groups are one of many leftist organizations whose very existence is a violation of IRS regulations. But above and beyond the tax code, Soros is knowingly funding riots and illegal activities by hate groups with a long history of such activities.
On Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue, anti-Israel protesters were arrested for blocking traffic at an event cosponsored by Adalah, a BDS group which helped produce the BLM platform calling for a boycott of Israel, and has received $1.5 million from Soros, as well as by JVP and IfNotNow.
In Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, Hamas supporters gathered for a “Flood Brooklyn for Palestine” hate rally whose name echoed “Al Aqsa Flood”: the Hamas name for its butchery in Israel. 19 were arrested after NYPD officers were assaulted and hit with fireworks and bottles by the hate filled mob. Participating groups included Linda Sarsour’s Arab American Association of New York, which received $60,000 from the Soros network, as well as Samidoun: a terrorist front group banned by Israel and Germany, whose fiscal sponsor the Alliance for Global Justice received $250,000 from Soros in 2020. (This money may have been intended for AFGJ’s BLM groups.)
The Ford Foundation and other major leftist donors have stated that they will no longer fund Samidoun, after the terror front group handed out candy to celebrate Hamas atrocities, but the Soros network has offered no such promise of ending its funding of the extremist sponsor.
At another “Flood Brooklyn for Palestine” rally targeting the vicinity of the Crown Heights community, home to the largest group of Jewish Chabad Chassidim in the world, participants celebrated the Hamas attack and called for the destruction of Israel. Members of the hateful mob vandalized police cars and local businesses and then proceeded to hijack the Brooklyn Bridge. Terrorist supporters marching on Lower Manhattan carried a large black and white banner reading, “Honor the Martyrs” referring to the dead Islamic terrorists.
That rally was called by Within Our Lifetime, along with other Islamic groups, whose chair, Nerdeen Kiswani was defended and “proudly supported” for her hateful activities by Palestine Legal which received $25,000 from the Soros network.
The support for pro-Hamas groups is not surprising. George Soros has a history of defending Hamas. “America and Israel must open the door to Hamas,” he urged in a 2007 editorial after the group first came to power, while claiming that Hamas had a “more moderate political wing”.
“Neither Hamas nor Hezbollah can be treated merely as targets in the war on terror because both have deep roots in their societies,” he argued in an earlier editorial. And in another editorial complained that pro-Israel activists were “abetting” Israel’s “insistence on treating Hamas only as a terrorist organization.”
While Soros was editorializing for Hamas, Rob Malley, the son of an adviser to the PLO’s Yasser Arafat, was conducting backchannel talks with Hamas as a director at Soros’s International Crisis Group. The revelation of the Hamas link forced the Obama campaign to temporarily drop Malley, who later returned as Obama and Biden’s Iran deal negotiator. (Malley is currently under investigation by the FBI for mishandling classified information.)
Malley, who served as the CEO of the Soros group, before joining the Biden administration’s Iran effort, had argued that it’s a mistake to think of Hamas only “in terms of their terrorist violence dimension” and claimed that “there’s so much misinformation about them”.
The real mistake may be thinking that it’s a coincidence that George Soros has funded hate groups rallying for Hamas and against Israel, after defending Hamas in the past.
The Hamas insurrection in the streets of our major cities has been fueled by money from major leftist donors, including Soros. The funding of organizations engaged in illegal activities is a violation of both the tax code and the law. The failure to hold the funders of radical domestic terrorism, whether by BLM or Hamas supporters, accountable has led to violence in the streets.
The Soros insurrection must be defunded and the entire network of organizations, including the billionaire Nazi collaborator behind it, must be held responsible for its illegal activities. If the IRS will not do its job and enforce the tax code against nonprofits engaged in illegal activities, Congress must move to close the loopholes and end the nonprofit status of groups engaged in violence, crimes and support for terrorist organizations. Taxpayers should not be funding terrorism and tax-exempt organizations cannot engage in illegal activities and back terrorists.
George Soros has spent much of his life organizing the destruction of the nation by funding a vast network of extremist groups. And he is not alone. Billionaire donors and foundations have brought the country and the world to a series of crises by taking fringe organizations and causes, and injecting enough money into them that they appeared to be mainstream.
Congress can deal a serious blow to the empire of extremists by reforming the tax code and closing the ‘terror loophole’ that enabled the ugly displays of hatred in New York City. And across America. If BLM wasn’t enough of a wake up call, the Islamic terrorist rallies within miles of Ground Zero ought to be. It’s time for Congress to defund the Soros Hamas insurrection.

The Biden Admin Just Made It Easier for Terrorists To Enter the United States
Lawmakers, former officials say change will let Iranian terrorists come to US

The Biden administration altered federal law to make it easier for individuals who have worked with designated terrorist groups to legally enter the United States.
The State and Homeland Security Departments last week amended federal immigration laws to allow foreigners who provided "insignificant material support" to designated terror groups to receive "immigration benefits or other status," according to the policy published in the Federal Register. Examples of individuals who would fall into the new category, according to the announcement, include individuals who provided "humanitarian assistance" or "routine commercial transactions" to terror groups.
The policy shift is fueling concerns that the Biden administration wants to make it easier for individuals who work with or for Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), the country's paramilitary fighting force that has killed hundreds of Americans, to enter the country. Notice of the change came several days before the Biden administration and hardline Iranian government resumed talks aimed at securing a revamped version of the 2015 nuclear deal.
A State Department spokesman said the law was amended to help vulnerable Afghans, who might have inadvertently worked with terror groups, gain refuge in the United States following the Biden administration's bungled withdrawal that left the Taliban in power. Lawmakers and former U.S. officials, however, say the new regulations are so broadly written that they would apply to organizations like al Qaeda and the IRGC. The policy change is also raising red flags as U.S. officials, including former secretary of state Mike Pompeo, face credible death threats from Iran.
The rule does not specifically mention Afghanistan but is written to cover all U.S.-designated foreign terrorist organizations, such as the IRGC and al Qaeda, experts told the Free Beacon. The Taliban is not designated as a foreign terrorist organization, leaving lawmakers and former U.S. officials concerned the changes extend far beyond vulnerable Afghans and cover those tied to some of the globe's most violent terror groups.
Gabriel Noronha, a State Department special adviser for Iran during the Trump administration, said that "the Biden administration is claiming this regulation is all about Afghanistan, but they didn't even mention Afghanistan once in their action, and have made no serious attempt to limit the scope to the situation there."
"Instead," said Noronha, who is a fellow with the Jewish Institute for National Security of America think tank, "this looks like a massive watering down of our immigration restrictions against members of terrorist organizations."
The State Department says the changes are limited to Afghanistan, but would not say why the country is not mentioned once in the new order.
The changes "are an effort to address issues related to Afghanistan," a State Department spokesman, speaking only on background, told the Free Beacon. "The circumstances between Afghanistan and Iran are very different." The new rules "are not applicable to people who have received military-type training from [foreign terrorist organizations], including IRGC conscripts." Rather, the administration is trying to make it easier for those tangentially tied to terrorism to legally enter the country, the official maintained.
When the Free Beacon requested additional information and an explanation as to why the IRGC or similar groups would not be covered by the changes, the State Department declined to answer, saying, "We have no further information or comments to share." This lack of clarity is fueling concerns about the policy change.
Noronha and others who spoke to the Free Beacon say the broad reference to "foreign terrorist organizations" leaves open the possibility that groups like the IRGC and al Qaeda would benefit from the relaxed immigration guidelines. The revamped guidelines do not specifically include restrictions on either of these groups. "At best this is a horribly written regulation. At worst, it's an attempt to pull the wool over the eyes of Congress and the American people and make it easier for terrorists to come to America," Noronha said.
Richard Goldberg, who under Trump served on the White House National Security Council as the director for countering Iranian weapons of mass destruction, said that any effort to loosen restrictions on terror-tied individuals is worrying amid Iran's threats to kill U.S. leaders.
"Given Iran is actively plotting to kill former American officials, the administration should carefully explain if and how this [rule] might apply to a potential affiliate of the IRGC, and provide a high-level commitment to take all necessary steps to bar any potential IRGC associate from admission to the United States," Goldberg, a senior adviser at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies think tank, told the Free Beacon.
Republican lawmakers agree with this assessment. Five Republican foreign policy leaders who spoke to the Free Beacon expressed concerns the administration is trying to quietly grant concessions to Iran as it reenters nuclear talks.
"It's outrageous that the Biden administration is lifting the blanket ban on individuals who have provided support to terrorists from entering the United States," Rep. Joe Wilson (R., S.C.), a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, told the Free Beacon. "The timing raises concerns coming just a few days before the latest round of Iran talks. President Biden should end these failed negotiations once and for all and return to a policy of maximum pressure, rather than continuing to make concessions to the terrorist regime in Iran."
Rep. Jim Banks (R., Ind.), a member of the House Armed Services Committee, said he and his colleagues worry the Biden administration is attempting to grant concessions to Iran via backdoor changes to American laws.
"What do Americans gain by letting members of Iran's terrorist army cross our borders?" Banks asked.
Rep. Mike Waltz (R., Fla.), a combat veteran and also a member of the Armed Services Committee, said the change is purely about "appeasing terrorist groups—whether it's the IRGC, Houthis, or Taliban."
Reps. Lisa McClain (R., Mich.) and Pat Fallon (R., Texas), both Armed Services Committee members, expressed shock at how broadly written the new regulations are.
"In what world is it an acceptable decision to allow terrorists into our country?" Fallon asked the Free Beacon. "Instead of ending the nuclear talks with Iran all together, Joe Biden has decided to bend over backwards to the world's largest state sponsor of terrorism. Before it is too late, I urge them to immediately reconsider this foolish decision."

On October 21, U.S. reps. Ilhan Omar and Jan Schakowsky issued a press release introducing a bill titled the "Combating International Islamophobia Act." According the release, the purpose of the bill is "to address the rise in incidents of Islamophobia worldwide."
Specifically, it would require "the State Department to create a Special Envoy for monitoring and combating Islamophobia, [which would] include state-sponsored Islamophobic violence and impunity [sic] in the Department's annual human rights reports."
The bill was supported by the White House, which, notwithstanding its focus on Islam alone, described it as a measure committed to "defending freedom of religion and belief."
On Dec, 14, 2021, the bill, H.R. 5665, passed in the House, 219 to 212. No Democrat voted against it; no Republican voted for it.
Portions of the bill at §3(k) describe its scope:
(1) acts of physical violence against, or harassment of, Muslim people, and acts of violence against, or vandalism of, Muslim community institutions, including schools, mosques, and cemeteries
Under this clause, no reports of any violence and killing committed not against Muslims, but by Muslims against other religious groups, nor the suppression of non-Muslims in Muslim-ruled nations, would be authorized. Only acts against Muslims.
(2) instances of propaganda in government and nongovernment media that attempt to justify or promote racial hatred or incite acts of violence against Muslim people
The astute reader will notice a difference between this clause and the press release issued by Omar and Schakowsky. That release did not include any mention of "nongovernment media" — that is, "non-government" newspapers, magazines, radio and television programs, internet, social media — as being within its scope of oversight. The press release mentions the mouse but omits the elephant.
The beginning of wisdom is to call things by their proper name. If English is our language, the term "Islamophobia" means "irrational fear of Islam." So we are facing a rise of irrational fear of Islam? Why would that be of concern to anyone except those who are suffering from such irrational fear?
The press release and bill are not really talking about a fear of Islam; they are talking about a hostility toward Islam, which are not the same thing.
One may fear Muslims but not necessarily hate them, or act violently against them. But, in expressing fears about Muslims, is certainly possible that such fears may lead some persons to hostile acts of violence. Does this mean that such fears cannot be raised? What if they are justified?
The bill does not address this issue; instead, it proceeds as if there could be no rational basis for fear of Islam. That would be a Muslim presumption; if based only on Islamic scriptures, however, such presumption would not be an objective one.
Those Scriptures include biographies of Muhammad, which describe his great achievement of uniting Arabs under the standard of Islam, but which also include accounts of callous and unprecedented assassinations of political and religious opponents in order reach that objective. Nonetheless, in the Quran, at 33:21, Allah names Muhammad as a good example for mankind. It is fair to expect that some Muslims, appalled at the degeneracy of the West, but blind to its virtues, have taken that endorsement to heart. And if assassination is justifiable for what is believed to be a greater purpose, then what isn't?
In short, if there is content in the media that could give rise to fear of Islam, such content is not necessarily "propaganda," as the bill effectively assumes.
Need it be said that H.R. 5665 violates the First Amendment at two different levels? First of all, in addressing not the alleged hostile actions themselves, but rather the media that are supposedly instigating those actions, the bill runs afoul of such media's freedom of speech.
Secondly, in focusing on issues relating specifically to Islam and to no other religion, the bill is "respecting an establishment of religion," which, under the Amendment, is prohibited.
One has to wonder if the 219 House members are aware that we have a Constitution, or whether it has a First Amendment?
In addition to constitutional issues is the one of national sovereignty. Two hundred nineteen Democrats have voted for the U.S. to monitor "international Islamophobia." But the U.S. is not an international institution; Islam is. This is Islam's concern, not America's. Or have the Democrats converted to Islam?
Following its passage in the House, the bill, now as S. 3344, was forwarded to the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. Because of the 50-50 party split in the full Senate, the membership of the Committee was also evenly split, leaving the bill in a deadlock. If Raphael Warnock wins the Georgia seat, Democrats would have a majority in the committee. If that majority accepted the bill as the House presented it, it could move to the Senate floor for a full vote — one in which, if it is passed, will not need reconciliation with the House, which would no longer be controlled by Democrats.
Republicans might try to filibuster such a vote, but, the filibuster being not a law, but only a Senate rule, it could be terminated by a simple majority of senators. Democrats could possibly have the votes to do that, and then vote S. 3384 into law.
As noted, however, the bill is unconstitutional on at least two levels, and so could likely be challenged successfully in court on such bases. Since Republicans would control the House, Democrats would be unable to pack the Supreme Court in order to prevent such outcome.
Even so, it would be far better if such a challenge did not need to be made at all, for the more legislation the Court must strike down, the greater is the appearance that it is legislating from the bench. In either case, a lot rides on the Dec. 6 run-off election between incumbent Raphael Warnock and Herschel Walker.

On Ivy League campuses radicals cheer Hamas while major corporations like Budweiser and Target lose billions by embracing woke agendas. What explains this cult of destruction that has overtaken our country and our culture? Why are so many so eager to destroy America?
In the 60s and 70s, David Horowitz defined the political spirit of the age in the New Left while in the 80s and 90s, he became the vanguard of the conservative campaign against the Left.
Nearly forty years after he not only publicly rejected the Left, but took the lead in warning conservatives and the rest of the country about the threat that it posed, Horowitz confronts the crisis we face, the abyss beyond and the road ahead in his latest revelatory book about the political war we’re in: ‘The Radical Mind: The Destructive Plans of the Woke Left.’
The Radical Mind is in some ways the story of David Horowitz and of America. It exposes the radicals who indoctrinated generations into their destructive ideology and the state of a nation where majorities of a younger generation are Jew-haters, socialists and terrorist supporters.
While many conservatives have become prone to despairing at such spectacles, Horowitz had seen worse and come out of worse. The Left had never been concerned with numbers. Its extremist positions were once so far on the fringe that no one would have imagined they would become mainstream dogma. What the Left had was passion, aggression and a plan of action.
In The Radical Mind, Horowitz continues to develop the message that he has carried for nearly two generations to the conservative movement. And that is that the movement all too often lacks these things: it doesn’t know how to fight and does not even realize that it needs to fight.
“From the moment I joined the conservative right forty years ago, I was impressed – and also alarmed – by the disparity in political rhetoric used by the two sides fighting this fateful conflict. My radical comrades and I had always viewed these battles as episodes in a war conducted by other means – even as our opponents failed to understand that they were in a war at all,” he writes in The Radical Mind.
The conservative movement has traveled a long way since the 1980s and David Horowitz played a major role in waking it up to the reality that leftists were not just political opponents, they were sworn enemies bent on destroying America. Long before it was fashionable, he was out there warning about Marxist indoctrination at universities and the vast network of leftist foundations, including those of George Soros, who were using the nonprofit sector to seize control of the commanding heights of our country. Now, Horowitz is still urging us to fight.
And fight hard.
In The Radical Mind, Horowitz urges “defenders of America” to deploy “stronger rhetoric, along with a more realistic attitude towards the enemy they are facing if America is to survive at all.” He points out that we are still mired in talking about “issues” and complaining about “double standards” rather than recognizing that the Left is not misguided, but maliciously destructive.
Typical of this is the tendency by Republicans to describe Democrats as being“soft on crime.” But, “Democrats – progressives – are not soft on crime, they are pro-crime. They regard crime as a primitive form of ‘social justice.’” This is the kind of bracing rhetoric that made David Horowitz the fighting spirit of the conservative movement whose voice is still badly needed.
And The Radical Mind once again displays Horowitz’s great gifts of describing the reality of the war in enemy as it is, unflinchingly and unapologetically, and tracing the origin of the crisis back to radical figures like Bill Ayers and a leftist movement that had set out to tear down America.
What is the mindset of such people? That is one of the questions that Horowitz tackled in Radical Son, a book that changed lives and made conservatives out of some radicals, and it is the question that he returns to once again in The Radical Mind, writing that, “envy and resentment” are “the key passions of the progressive mind”.
False claims of racism, sexism and all the various forms of oppression channel that envy and resentment, the private passions of the dissatisfied (but often materially wealthy) leftist, into ideologically approved categories making personal resentments into a power grab.
The radicals masquerade in a perpetual state of victimhood because it licenses their destruction. Oppression justifies violence, terrorism and then a total takeover. In The Radical Mind, David Horowitz breaks down the various issues in whose name the leftists are destroying America, especially false claims of hatred and oppression, and exposes the lies behind them.
“For progressives the issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution,” he writes. “Every revolution begins with destruction. Every revolutionary is focused on the means to ‘dismantle’ the existing social order, not on devising workable blueprints for the future. Consequently, they are experts at destruction, but criminally incompetent at construction.”
David Horowitz has witnessed and documented the revolutionary destruction across eras and The Radical Mind clearly shows how the Stalinist era, the New Left and now the Woke Left are committed to the same politics of destruction. It is not the poor or the oppressed that they love, but their fantasies of power. The victims of the moment, real or imagined, are just tools to justify their crimes. And once the destruction is successful, the Left does not spare a thought for them.
The Radical Mind documents the Anti-War Left’s abandonment of Cambodians to genocide and the abandonment of black teens in inner cities to gang violence. Americans are being divided in workplaces and on college campuses into identity politics groups to tear apart the country. But once the destruction is done, the Left will have no more use for black lesbians or transgenders than it did for millions of murdered Cambodians or the 8 teens shot in an urban ghetto over the weekend.
To the radicals, people are means to an end. And that is where Radical Mind vitally distinguishes the leftist worldview from that of the Constitution its members hope to destroy.
“The attack on the social contract under which Americans have lived for more than 200 years is the core of the current crisis,” Horowitz argues. The Left wants to get rid of the Constitution, not because it actually believes that it’s the illegitimate product of dead white men, but because it wants to dispense with all laws and systems that interfere with the advancement of its revolution.
Horowitz points out that in the case of Roe v. Wade, the leftists were “uninterested in the Roe argument itself – i.e., the actual merits of the case” because they are “ready to dispense with due process – with the agreement to live by a neutral set of rules and deliberative resolutions when an impasse is reached” because their only goal is the “pursuit by any means necessary of a “re-imagined” future, based on untested and discredited ideas.”
The radical goal is revolution. And as David Horowitz comprehensively demonstrates in The Radical Mind: The Destructive Plans of the Woke Left’, revolution means destruction.
Is it a wonder then that student radicals and extremist academics cheer Hamas, not despite its atrocities, but because of them, or that woke CEOs shrug off billions in losses? Woke military brass continue to champion racist and divisive policies even as recruitment falls drastically.
The Left does not turn back in the face of destruction because that is exactly what it desires.
The Radical Mind is another invaluable contributor by America’s master chronicler of the Left who, like no other, has shown us what it is and what it intends for us, not in the abstruse language of academia, but in no holds barred testimony ripped from the heart of the beast.
No one understands the radical mind like David Horowitz. And no one can describe it half as well. The Radical Mind is not just a book, it’s another punch in the face of the Left.

Two Attempts to Attack Jews Inside the United States
Anti-Semitism — the “oldest hate” — is alive and well.

Sometimes life sends along a little something to cheer us up. It did so on November 6, with a news item about a Muslim woman who was determined to harm — possibly even kill — Jews, because she was disturbed at the IDF’s campaign to destroy Hamas. She got in her car, drove to what she thought was a Jewish school because it had a crudely drawn Star of David on its outside door, and proceeded to smash her car right into it. The police soon arrested her. But she then discovered that the object of her murderous hate wasn’t a Jewish school at all. It was a center run by a bizarre group called the Black Hebrew Israelites, an antisemitic group of black Americans whose members believe that they are the true Jews and so-called “white Jews” are fakers, falsely claiming a Jewish identity. More on her tragicomical error can be found here: “US woman drives car into antisemitic group’s building, mistaking it for Jewish school,” Times of Israel, November 6, 2023:
Her act was much more serious than mere “recklessness.” She deliberately drove her car into the building, hoping at the very least to terrorize the “Israelites” inside, and ideally, to injure them. Of course it was an “act of terrorism,” even if she happened, out of her own ignorance, to have chosen exactly the wrong target. Let’s hope she gets the book thrown at her.
Not funny at all, however, was the case of one Sohaib Abuayyash, a Jordanian who has just been arrested for planning to attack a Jewish gathering; the Jordanian had high hopes of dying as a “shahid” or “martyr.” More on his plans, and his likely punishment, can be found here: “Jordanian man planning to attack Jews indicted in Texas,” Jerusalem Post, November
Abuayyash’s application for asylum is without merit; he is not fleeing persecution or war in Jordan. His visa had expired and at that point, he ought to have been promptly deported back to Jordan. It’s a failure of our immigration system that he managed to remain in the country after his visa had expired. Now he’ll be in this country for many years as a prisoner, and constitute an expensive drain on the system. The average cost to the government of upkeep for each prisoner is more than $70,000. Assuming a ten-year sentence, and excluding the very great cost of court-appointed lawyers for both the trial and appeals, Abuayyash will cost taxpayers $700,000, before he is freed and deported to Jordan.
Antisemitism- the “oldest hate” — is irrational hatred and fear of Jews. Cabals of powerful Jews are said to control the world’s media, or the financial system, or both, though if they are so powerful, one wonders why they were unable to prevent the Holocaust, or the anti-Israel kangaroo court at the UN.
Similarly, Islamophobia should refer only to “irrational hatred and fear of Muslims.” But the term is applied to anyone, however rational either his hatred or his fear of Muslims may be, who is critical of Islam. Throughout Europe, where tens of millions of Muslims now live, the behavior of Muslims has led to both “fear and hate.” It is reasonable, not irrational, to hate those Muslims who took part in, or gleefully support, the atrocities carried out by Hamas on October 7. It is not irrational to hate Muslims who carry out crimes of every kind — street robberies, house burglaries, stabbings and rapes — against the indigenous non-Muslims in whose countries they now live, while taking full advantage of the welfare benefits offered to them in European countries, and at the same time refuse any semblance of loyalty to the Western countries they now live in. Why wouldn’t non-Muslims “fear and hate” Muslims who now openly predict that through demographic jihad, Muslims will eventually take over their countries and impose Sharia? It is reasonable to both “hate and fear” the thousands of Muslims in the U.K., whose grooming gangs have blighted the lives of tens of thousands of young and vulnerable English girls. These reactions do not constitute “Islamophobia.” It’s a weasel word designed to shut down criticism of Muslims and of Islam. Those who fling that epithet “Islamophobic” should be challenged on every occasion.

This isn’t really new insofar as Tlaib’s ties to Maher Abdel-qader and the Palestinian American Congress were reported back in 2019.
So Rep. Tlaib had every chance to cut her ties with Abdel-qader, the Palestinian American Congress, and its pro-terrorist Facebook group.
But four years later, here we are.
It’s not just Tlaib though who is tied to the Palestinian American Congress.
This is what happens when you follow the money. The Left is financed by terror cash.

Schools for Hamas-cide
Welcome to the vicious Jew-hatred in many of our schools.

While the slaying of some 1,400 Jews by Hamas is a major tragedy in and of itself, other important facets of the story merit attention. For example, a Harris poll taken after the massacre reveals that 51% of American 18-24-year-olds think the murder of innocent Jewish men, women, and babies was justified, and much of this Jew hatred can be attributed to our nation’s schools.
Rethinking Schools, a radical activist outfit established in 1986, whose products are used by 200,000 teachers and are on university reading lists, asserts that educators have a “moral and educational responsibility” to join and teach about “the movement to boycott, divest from, and sanction Israel.”
Also, a wing of Rethinking Schools, the Zinn Education Project,which has developed history curricula since 2008, is used by 155,000 teachers nationwide. On October 10, the organization declared that the terror, violence, murder, and rape we’ve seen in the past week “is the direct result of decades of Israeli occupation.”
In Oakland, the teachers union has accused Israel of carrying out genocide and ethnic cleansing. The teachers union in Seattle passed a resolution in 2021 supporting the same lie. In Virginia, a school board member in Fairfax County has, under the banner of culturally responsive pedagogy, pushed for an explicitly anti-Israeli curriculum.
Also, Black Lives Matter, which has had success infiltrating our public schools, insists that the recent events in the Middle East are a “direct result of decades of Israeli settler colonialism, land dispossession, occupation, blockade, apartheid, and attempted genocide of millions of Palestinians.”
Then there are the colleges. The colleges! Yes, the same cohort of far-left, cultural ignoramuses who can’t define what a woman is and offers classes like “Queering Menstruation” and “Anal 101” are now, not surprisingly, weighing in on the Middle East.
In addition to Black Lives Matter and Critical Race Theory, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion tenets have become de rigeur on college campuses. The DEI-ists see everything in black and white, labeling white people as oppressors and blacks as the oppressed. While DEI typically concerns itself with USA issues, Israel, too, is on the hook, being tarred as a bastion of Jewish whiteness with a racist commitment to shattering the lives of Palestinians, who are considered people of color.
Tabia Lee, a former collegiate DEI director, explains that DEI drives campus antisemitism. She once hosted Jewish speakers on campus with the goal of “promoting diversity and inclusion by sharing different perspectives.” But she was deemed not radical enough, and was told in no uncertain terms that Jews are “white oppressors” and that it was her job to “decenter whiteness.”
At UCLA, immediately after the onset of the invasion, professors gave extra credit to students for attending a “teach-in” pushing anti-Israel propaganda. In New York, the president of NYU’s Student Bar Association wrote that “Israel bears full responsibility for this tremendous loss of life.”
In tune with the regnant campus zeitgeist, 34 student groups at Harvard pledged their support to Hamas. At Columbia, 20 campus groups signed a statement “condoning and justifying Hamas’s atrocities against Jews,” describing the wholesale slaughter of infants and children and the rape of women as “resistance,” all the while blaming Israel and America for the violence.
At UC-Berkeley, a statement from Bears for Palestine and signed by 25 on-and-off campus organizations, brazenly declared their support for slaughter of the Jews. “We invariably reject Israel’s framing as a victim” said the statement which also argued that “[O]ur people’s freedom will not be attainable without revolution,” adding, “We support the resistance, we support the liberation movement, and we indisputably support the Uprising.”
Sadly, activity on campuses isn’t limited to groups issuing statements. At the University of Pennsylvania, dozens of flyers depicting the names and faces of the victims that Hamas kidnapped were torn down around campus shortly after being put up. At Drexel University in Philadelphia, an assailant set a Jewish student’s dorm room door on fire. A Jewish student was beaten at Columbia, and Jewish students at Cooper Union had to take shelter in a library to escape a mob chanting, “Free Palestine!” And a student at Cornell threatened to shoot, stab, rape, and slit the throats of his Jewish classmates, prompting classes to be canceled.
There are many things we can do to mitigate the rising tide of Jew hatred – and all the other kinds of bilge that proliferates in our colleges these days. First, wealthy people must stop giving money to colleges that engage in Jew hatred and other forms of extremism, and this is indeed happening. Fox News reports,“Billionaires are pulling back on donations to leading Ivy League colleges amid allegations of antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiment that have become more visible in the wake of Hamas’ terror attack on Israel.”
Additionally – and this is no easy task – we must get the government out of funding private colleges. (The same crowd that reviles public money going to private schools on the K-12 level in the form of vouchers seems to have no problem with government money flowing into private colleges.) At this time, there are about 4,000 for-profit colleges in the U.S., and they receive the great majority of federal donations for higher education – which is about $201 billion. In fact, there are only 22 colleges in the country that refuse any public funds.
The government should also get out of the student loan business. At this time, the student loan nut is a staggering $1.75 trillion, about 92% of which comes from the feds.
Parents must do their share by not sending their children to a K-12 school or college that subsidizes Jew hatred. Unless your kid absolutely needs a college degree for a chosen career, let them skip the indoctrination-centric universities and join an apprentice program. At this time, the number of apprentices registered with the Department of Labor has surpassed 607,000, which is more than double the number that existed in 2013.
Teachers can do their share by not teaching any curricula that is anti-Jewish or bigoted toward any other group, for that matter. They also should quit their union – like the one in Oakland – if it is openly bigoted against Jews.
While the deaths of 1,400 people is a devastating tragedy, if we don’t learn from our mistakes, we will be doomed to ongoing savagery. Please think about what you can do to stanch the ugliness that is festering in our midst.

Deception, misinformation, and incitement are even being promoted by some members of Congress. Rashida Talib, Cory Bush, Ilhan Omar, and others are disseminating lies and deception to incite their audiences and advance the agenda of the radical Hamas and Hezbollah terrorist organizations. These organizations and many others are being nurtured, financed, and trained by the biggest supporter of international terrorism: the aggressive Iranian regime.
One of the most blatant recent examples of the psychological warfare they are employing is the blood libel against Israel. Promoters of this blood libel accuse Israel of intentionally bombing a Gaza hospital and causing hundreds of casualties, despite the overwhelming evidence, which was documented by both Israeli and US intelligence services, that the rocket in question was launched by Islamic Jihad terrorists. This rocket hit the parking lot of the hospital and caused a limited number of casualties.
Obviously, the current attacks on the State of Israel and its citizens are not distinguishing between Jews, Christians, Muslims, or anybody else. But it should not be ignored that the entire free world is also facing the serious long-term risk of incitement of ignorant individuals by the leadership of Radical Islam and other groups promoting radical ideologies.
It was very well-documented that multiple anti-Western entities have been promoting worldwide unrest by exploiting the ignorance of students, journalists, politicians, and others. Hopefully, once all these people realize that their own skin may be in the game, they will wake up and stand up against evil, and support a peaceful coexistence among all people.
As documented by Ben Shapiro and others, some of the most oft-used deceptive claims against Israel include:
1. The lie that the land of Israel was always a Muslim territory.
The land of Israel was historically a Jewish territory, documented clearly in the Bible and with archeological evidence. The Jews entered the land of Israel in 1400 BCE. They established there the kingdoms of King David and King Solomon, they built their two Temples, and much more. The latest Exile of the Jews from their ancestral homeland occurred after the defeat of the Jews by the Romans in about 130 CE. Despite the Exile, throughout the centuries there were always Jews in the Land of Israel. In an attempt to disconnect the Jews from their land, the Romans renamed the Land of Israel “Palestina” and they renamed the city of Jerusalem “Aleah Capitoline.” Islam was founded only during the 7th century CE, which is many hundreds of years after the documented Jewish presence in the land of Israel! The fact is that never, in the history of the world, did a country by the name of “Palestine” exist in the land of Israel!!
2. The lie that Israel refused the partition of the disputed Land of Israel with its neighbors.
In the 1917 Balfour Declaration Britain endorsed the “Zionist aspirations” to reestablish the Jewish homeland in Palestine and promised to “facilitate” the effort. In 1920, the Covenant of the League of Nations adopted this promise and turned it into International Law. In 1920, the Arabs instigated deadly anti-Jewish riots in the city of Jerusalem out of anger at the British presence in Palestine. In 1922, Britain cut off about 77% of the territory of the Palestine Mandate to Jewish people and gave it over to the Hashemites, who, in turn, created the state of Trans-Jordan in 1946. This was essentially a two-state solution, whereby most of the original territory of the British mandate to Palestine, which was supposed to become the modern homeland of the Jewish people, became the state of Trans-Jordan.
In 1937, the Peel Commission recommended a further partition of the remaining 23% of the Land of Israel. In 1939, under Arab pressure, the British further restricted Jewish immigration to Palestine (even from Nazi Germany) on the eve of the Second World War. Despite all this, the Jews supported the British, and most Arabs supported Nazi Germany. In 1948 the British Mandate to Palestine ended. In accordance with the United Nations Partition Resolution, and in accordance with the legal favorable vote by the United Nations, the State of Israel was established on about 10% of the land included in the original British Mandate to Palestine and became an official member of the United Nations. Israel asked the local Arabs to become a part of the reestablished Jewish state in its ancestral homeland, but on the same day, surrounding Arab states, along with many local Arabs, started a war to destroy it.
In 1964, while the Arabs were still in control of Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, and Gaza, the Palestine Liberation Organization was founded, with the intent to destroy the State of Israel. In 1967, Arab countries tried again to destroy Israel, but they were defeated in what was later called the “Six-Day War.” Following the war, the Arab League announced the famous three No’s: No Peace, No Negotiation, and No Recognition of Israel. In 1973, during Yom Kippur, Arab countries launched another all-out war with the intent to destroy Israel once again. Since then, peace agreements were achieved with Egypt in 1979, with Jordan in 1994, and with the UAE, Sudan, Morocco, and Bahrain in 2020 via the Abraham Accords.
Despite the “Oslo Accords,” which were signed by Israel and the Palestinian Authority in 1993, the Palestinians continued their traditional hostilities and refused to recognize the Jewish State within any borders. The Palestinians continued with multiple destructive and indiscriminate terror attacks despite very generous peace offers, which included relinquishing to the Arab Palestinians more than 95% of the disputed land. These generous offers to settle the dispute were made by various Israeli Prime Ministers and mediated by various American Presidents, but the Arab Palestinians refused to accept any of them. In 2005, Israel left 100% of the land of Gaza hoping that the Arab Palestinians would create the Singapore or Monaco of the Middle East there, but instead, they created a vicious terror state that did not care about their own people or about any other people. Under the guidance and financial and political support of the biggest sponsor of international terrorism, the Iranian regime, Hamas, and Hezbollah became its ruthless proxies and helped to undermine international stability. Israel was defined as “The Little Satan”, while the USA was crowned “The Great Satan!”
3. The lie about Israel expelling most of the Arab Palestinians from the territories that were held by the British Mandate.
Upon the creation of the modern State of Israel, local Arabs were offered to become equal partners in building the country. In fact, many thousands of Arabs accepted the offer and became citizens of Israel with equal rights, but too many listened to the corrupt Arab leadership’s propaganda and instead became involved in a brutal military confrontation with Israel. Many others just left the country, even before the escalation of the military confrontation, hoping to return after the destruction of the Jewish state. The estimated number of these Arab refugees from the 1948 War was about 500,000. At the same time, the State of Israel absorbed about 800,000 Jewish refugees from Arab lands.
4. The lie that Israel is an apartheid state.
In Israel, all citizens, should they be Jews, Arabs, Christians, or others, have equal rights under the law.
Israel has Arab members of the Parliament. Arab citizens of Israel have served on the Supreme Court and are employed in government positions. Arabs have freedom of speech, can vote freely in parliamentary elections, and can practice any profession they choose.
At the same time, the Palestinian Authority practices real apartheid by not allowing Jews to live or buy any property in any area under their control. The Palestinian Authority will give money to terrorists and their families as a reward for killing or injuring Israelis. Despite political differences, the Palestinian Authority supports terror attacks against Israelis, including the most recent unprovoked vicious terror assault on Israel that claimed the lives of more than 1,400 innocent civilians and the abduction of about 240 innocent people. These innocent victims included babies, women, and the elderly.
The bizarre broad international support for the recent unprovoked atrocities that were perpetrated by Hamas terrorists and their supporters is a very clear sign that deception and misinformation are influencing too many ignorant individuals. Unfortunately, many of these people are unknowingly supporting evil, which may ultimately put themselves in danger. We must know the facts and address this problem wisely and as soon as possible in order to save the future of the free world.
The following are a few first steps that we can take to help the free world address these dangerous trends:
1. Show how the anti-Jewish anti-Israel activities, deception, and incitement will cause harm to everybody, including non-Jews. People must understand that should evil prevail, their own skin is going to be in the game. It is not only a Jewish problem – it is a free-world problem.
2. Show who is providing most of the funds to these bad operatives. For example, Qatar, Iran, and their representatives.
3. Show how much of the money, which is used and misused by these bad operatives, will also be directed towards their own benefit. For example, the Hamas leaders Haniyeh and Meshaal are billionaires and live in Qatar.
4. Show how some of the money is being used to deceive, incite, and brainwash the current and next generation, which will end up undermining the stability and welfare of our society. For example, the various related NGOs that operate on universities and college campuses.
5. Show how these self-serving malicious individuals may benefit not only from simple monetary personal gains but also from many other personal privileges and perks.
The sooner that we wake up, expose, and marginalize evil, the better it will be for humanity!

These Mosques Pray for the Annihilation of Jews. They Also Receive Money From the Biden Administration.
A federal program to help nonprofit groups protect against terrorist attacks has given millions of dollars to mosques and Islamic groups that have praised terrorists and called for the destruction of Israel, according to a Washington Free Beacon review.
The Department of Homeland Security awarded the California-based Masjid al-Ansar mosque $100,000 on March 9 under the Nonprofit Security Grants Program. Moustafa Kamel, the imam at Masjid al-Ansar, earlier this year called Jews a "bigoted and arrogant breed of people" and prayed they "will be annihilated" in a war over the Holy Land, according to the Middle East Media Research Institute.
Then there is the Islamic Center of Detroit, which received $150,000 on Oct. 12, 2022. Its head imam, Imran Salha, said at a pro-Palestinian rally days after Hamas’s invasion of Israel that Muslims have a "fire in our hearts that will burn that state until its demise." During a sermon in March, he referred to the "sick, disgusting Zionist regime" and prayed: "may Allah eradicate them from existence."
The rhetoric could fuel the sorts of hate and terrorist attacks that the Homeland Security grants aim to prevent. Anti-Semitic hate crimes have surged 400 percent since Hamas’s attack, in which 1,400 Israelis were slaughtered. A bipartisan group of senators called for additional funding under the program last month to protect against "a potential rise in anti-Semitic threats."
There is little oversight over which organizations receive funding under the program, which is administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and state agencies. A majority of the grants have gone to synagogues, churches, mosques, and temples that do not support violence or promote terrorist organizations.
But there are also grants to outfits like the Islamic Center of San Diego, a mosque best known as the home to two 9/11 hijackers. Days after the Hamas attack, Imam Taha Hassane defended the attack on Israel as an act of self-defense.
"When people are occupied, then the resistance is justified," he said in an Oct. 20 sermon. "We cannot accuse somebody who is fighting for his life to be a terrorist. The terrorist is the one who started the occupation, not the one who is defending himself."
The mosque received $150,000 under the grant program on Aug. 15, according to federal spending records.
At the Flint Islamic Center, which received $300,000 in grants on Oct. 12, 2022, an Islamic scholar asserted in a sermon last month that Jews "literally live for the purpose of genocide" of Palestinians.
"These people … their businesses have foundations just to serve their objectives. They literally live for a purpose of genocide in an occupation like this," said Shaykh Adbullah Waheed.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), an advocacy group identified as a co-conspirator of Hamas, has mounted a public awareness campaign to urge mosques and Islamic nonprofits to apply for the Homeland Security grants. CAIR noted that fewer than 50 Islamic organizations had received funding under the program, largely due to "concerns about the potential strings attached" to accepting the federal funds.
CAIR, which received grants under the Homeland Security program, blamed Israel for the "root causes" of the Hamas attack. Its executive director, Nihad Awad, condemned President Joe Biden for criticizing Hamas instead of Israel.
Dar al-Hijrah, the mosque of Al-Qaeda recruiter Anwar al-Awlaki and Nidal Hisan, has received funding under the grant program. An imam at the mosque appeared to condone Hamas violence against Israel during a sermon last month, saying: "When the hypocrites say, ‘those people are deluded by their beliefs, they think if they kill their enemies, they go to paradise.’ Well, you don’t have to accept it. It’s not your faith. But we are free to believe what we believe."
The Muslim American Society’s Chicago affiliate, which received $149,000 on Sept. 1, was founded by members of the Muslim Brotherhood, the radical Islamist group that spawned Hamas. The Muslim American Society regularly hosts anti-Semitic speakers. Yasir Qadhi, an Islamic scholar who has said that "Hitler never intended to mass-destroy the Jews," is slated to speak at its annual convention next month.
The head imam at the Islamic Organization of North America, which received $450,000 on Nov. 3, 2022, said at a rally last month that Palestinians were being "slaughtered by the Israeli Zionist government." The event was emceed by Amer Zahr, an activist who has said, "We stand with every resistance against Israel and every resistance against the occupation … whether it’s called Hamas, whether it’s called Hezbollah."
Other grants have gone to ICNA Relief USA, whose religious director, Rafiq Mahdi, has expressed "support" for Hamas and said it is "difficult to blatantly condemn [suicide bombers]."
The Department of Homeland Security did not respond to a request for comment.

Bill Maher Slams Obama’s Remarks on Israel-Hamas War: ‘Enough with the Moral Equivalencies’
Despite his longtime support for former President Barack Obama, HBO’s Bill Maher admitted to feeling disappointment while “struggling” with the Democrat ex-president’s “moral equivalency” between the Jewish state and the U.S.-designated terrorist group Hamas.
On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s Real Time, host and political commentator Bill Maher expressed his dismay over Obama’s recent remarks regarding the current conflict between Israel and Hamas.
“I must say I am struggling with people’s moral equivalencies, still,” Maher said during a panel discussion.
“I mean, Barack Obama, who has rarely disappointed me, did so this week,” he continued. “His statement — I mean, it’s not a horrible statement — but he said, ‘If you want to solve the problem, then you have to take in the whole truth and then you have to admit nobody’s hands are clean.’”
Last week, Obama told his former staffers on Pod Save America that “all of us are complicit to some degree” in the violence in Gaza, as he appeared to describe a moral equivalence between Hamas murdering Israelis and the Israeli “occupation” of Gaza.
Some referred to his remarks as a version of “very fine people on both sides.”
Admitting that the 44th president’s comments were “literally” true, Maher offered two examples of why they were nonetheless unhelpful “at this moment.”
“First of all, the attack was only a month ago. A more savage attack than we’ve ever seen in reverse,” he said. “There’s a big difference between collateral damage and what Hamas did.”
In addition, the liberal comedian contrasted Israel’s humane gestures with Hamas’ brutal conduct.
“Secondly, the Israelis are now allowing a four-hour pause for people to get out,” he said. “So people say ‘oh, wow, big of them.’ Ok, but it is a war that the other side started!”
“It’s so interesting. When they fire at Israel, it’s a war. When Israel fires back, it’s a war crime,” he added. “Little crazy.”

He contrasted Hamas’ practices with Israel’s attempts to minimize casualties by pausing military actions to allow civilians to evacuate, questioning whether or not the terror group would undertake similar humanitarian actions.
“Also, would Hamas do that? Would they give four-hour pauses?” he asked. “No, no pausing.”
Maher then highlighted the response of the Israeli government to controversial statements made by its own officials, referencing an instance where a minister who mentioned using a nuclear weapon against Gaza was removed from the Cabinet.
In contrast, he argued, such accountability is unlikely to be seen from Hamas.
“And then Israel’s heritage minister was asked in an interview about using a nuke on Gaza. And he said ‘that’s one of the possibilities.’ He was fired, not allowed in the Cabinet meeting anymore, disavowed by the Prime Minister,” he said.
“Would that happen in reverse? So enough with the moral equivalencies, please,” he added.

He also claimed media coverage of the Israel-Hamas war “couldn’t be more pro-Hamas than it is now.”
Despite Obama’s remarks about Israeli “occupation,” Gaza has not been “occupied” by Israel since 2005, when Israel withdrew all of its soldiers and civilians in a “disengagement” that aimed to reduce violence in the region.
In response, Hamas launched thousands of rockets at Israel and started several wars.
Though last month, in the wake of the October 7 massacre which saw Hamas perpetrate the worst terrorist attack in Israel’s history, Obama said that Israel must “dismantle” Hamas; he has since spent the last several weeks backtracking in the face of anti-Israel and antisemitic activism emanating from the “progressive” left.
Responding to Obama’s comments, the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) issued a blistering response, accusing the former president of being “complicit” in terror and war.
In addition, Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) head Morton Klein called Obama a “monstrous and dangerous Jew-hater and Israel-hater who must be condemned, delegitimized, and removed from polite society.”

The October 7 attack saw Hamas terrorists gun down hundreds of young participants at an outdoor music festival while others hunted Jewish men, women, and children in local towns, who were then subjected to torture, rape, execution, immolation, and kidnapping.
The onslaught resulted in more than 1,200 dead inside the Jewish state, over 5,300 more wounded, and at least 241 hostages of all ages taken.
The vast majority of the victims are civilians and include dozens of American citizens.
Last month, Maher argued that anti-Israel and pro-Hamas sentiment is a majority view on elite college campuses, describing them as “the mouth of the river from which most of this nonsense flows.”
“And they’re very influential and those are the people who graduate and become the assholes in society,” he said.

Her (KAMALA HARRIS) more radical positions, such as support for the Obama administration’s Iran deal, prosecuting a journalist who exposed Planned Parenthood’s collection and sale of aborted babies’ body parts (while receiving campaign donations from them), and defending Ilhan Omar’s anti-Semitism, may indeed sit well with a great many leftists, but her actions as Attorney General of California may not. While in that position, Harris jailed hundreds on marijuana charges and authorized anti-prostitution sting operations which, according to SF Weekly, disproportionately targeted Latino men (a crucial Democrat demographic). In addition to this -- though she later admitted it was a mistake -- she prosecuted and jailed the parents of truant teens. She even refused to release the names of Catholic priests accused of sexually molesting children, abnegating law enforcement’s most basic and humane duty -- regardless of anyone’s opinion of the Catholic Church.
Muslim Democrats ‘Horrified’ by Plan to Halt Palestinian Immigration to U.S.
Muslim Democrats Andre Carson, Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar say they are “horrified” by GOP plans that would halt Palestinian legal immigration to the United States.
This week, Rep. Ryan Zinke (R-MT) and other House Republicans introduced legislation to ban the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) from providing green cards, visas, refugee status, and parole to Palestinians.
Zinke’s legislation also would revoke visas for Palestinians in the United States, thus making them eligible for deportation.
“This legislation keeps America safe,” Zinke said of the legislation. “I don’t trust the Biden Administration any more than I do the Palestinian Authority to screen who is allowed to come into the United States.”
In response, Carson, Tlaib, and Omar issued a joint statement where they called Zinke’s legislation “xenophobic, punitive, and [an] unconstitutional measure.”
“As the three Muslim Members of Congress, we are horrified by Rep. Ryan Zinke’s recently introduced bill to pause all visas, refugee status, and granting of asylum for individuals holding a passport issued by the Palestinian Authority indefinitely — and to revoke others,” they said:
Despite claims that Zinke’s legislation is “unconstitutional,” the Supreme Court ruled in Trump v. Hawaii that the president has extraordinarily broad discretion under 8 U.S.C. § 1182(f) to exclude aliens when he believes doing so is in the nation’s interests.
Since Zinke introduced the legislation, House and Senate Democrats have sent a letter to President Joe Biden urging him to provide Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) to Palestinians in the United States — a policy that the far-left Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is currently lobbying for.
Giving TPS and DED to Palestinians would ensure they cannot be deported from the United States.

Exclusive – World-Renowned Expert on Urban Combat: Hamas ‘Creating’ Civilian Deaths to Stir World Against IDF
Despite the “nightmare” of tunnel warfare, the mission being carried out by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) appears “very successful,” though Israel doesn’t have unlimited time, according to retired United States Army Major and urban warfare expert John Spencer, who deemed Hamas an “existential threat” whose strategy is to “create their own civilians’ deaths and get the world to react,” in order to prevent the IDF from eliminating their military capabilities — “and it is working.”
He also accused those protesting Israel’s supposedly “disproportionate” response to Hamas of having “no understanding of war, the laws of war or how the world works,” and that the terror group would “slaughter” the protesters, if given the opportunity, “for not being radical Islamic followers.”
In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, retired U.S. Army Major John Spencer, a world-renowned expert on urban combat who serves as chair of urban warfare studies at the Modern War Institute (MWI) at West Point, delved into the various warfare tactics at hand during the current Middle East conflict.
IDF’S STRATEGY
Spencer, a founding member the International Working Group on Subterranean Warfare, deemed the IDF’s activity against a plainclothes enemy embedded amongst civilians “very precise.”
“Of course, very costly,” he said. “But it’s not unlike any other urban battle I’ve seen.”
While Gaza is a “very highly dense place,” he noted, “cities like Baghdad, Mosul, and Raqqa are more dense,” though that “doesn’t mean it’s not any harder to operate in it.”
“From the ground perspective, as somebody who teaches this to armies around the world, I think they have been very deliberate in their approach to go through the steps that would be required to accomplish the mission they have stated, whereas a lot of militaries aren’t as clear in their objectives,” he said.
Citing a Vietnam-war saying, “you have to destroy the city to save it,” Spencer said the fact is unfortunate, “but it’s the reality of urban fighting.”
The saying conveys that there is a defender inside the city, which, in order to clear out “you basically destroy the city.”
“And there’s nothing I’m seeing now that changes that paradigm,” he added.
Deeming the IDF’s battle against Hamas “enemy–centric,” in that the mission to destroy Hamas’ military capabilities is “very clear,” the retired Army officer explained that the task cannot be done [entirely] from the air, though an air campaign can be used “to attrit rocket sites, command-and-control centers, the ability to communicate, and the ability to move — even underground.”
“As far as I can tell,” he assessed, the mission being carried out by the IDF appears “very successful.”
“Now they’ve moved forward methodically surrounding the city; the step that we call ‘isolate’ the city,” he explained, with reports indicating that the northern part of Gaza is now completely cut off.
“And I’m sure that means both on the surface and underground, because isolating the surface doesn’t mean you’ve isolated the underground,” he added.
But Israel’s current conflict with the terrorist Hamas group is actually the Jewish state’s fight against an “existential threat” that’s been “allowed through U.S. encouragement” to fester, and October 7 was a result of that.
“Hamas has in their charter the complete destruction of Israel and the slaughter of the Jewish people, and it tried that on October 7 on as many as they could,” he added.
UNDERGROUND WARFARE
Despite the difficulty in fighting Hamas, Israel is not facing “mission impossible,” Spencer asserted.
IDF finds Hamas tunnel (IDF)
Having “traveled the world, and been in tunnels all around the world,” as well as having “studied the way militaries approach, or don’t approach, underground warfare,” he concluded that the IDF are “leaders of the world in developing technologies, tactics and trained personnel for this specific mission.”
“They have one of the biggest underground units, the Yahalom, which is a special forces engineering unit.”
They also have modern day “tunnel rats,” dog units, and a “complete major organization that does experimentation and research to develop things,” he noted.
Spencer highlighted the challenge of underground warfare, where “nothing that any military developed for the surface of the Earth for fighting works.”
In addition, he explained, such depths can’t be reached with aerial technologies.
“Hamas dug deeper and deeper because of the fact that bunker buster bombs can go about 100 feet underground,” he said, “and the IDF has already found some Hamas tunnels 200 feet underground, below where any bunker buster can get to [or] any munition.”
The Israeli military believes, he noted, that there are likely tunnels even “300 feet” beneath the surface.
While the IDF “has some of the greatest equipment and little robots they can send down, drones that bounce off walls, remote control cars, and dogs,” with 300 miles of such tunnels, “you’ll quickly run out of that capability.”
“And sending somebody into a tunnel is the last resort, so you always seek a way not to go into a tunnel,” he explained.
However, he noted, the IDF has some personnel that can, including “everything from special forces throughout Sayeret Matkal, to the special soldiers that have been trained for it.”
Another issue is the presence of captives in such tunnels.
“We’re 99 percent sure all hostages, or a majority of them, are underground. So even some of the historical methods in which militaries used to deal with tunnels — whether it’s to explode them or neutralize them by putting tear gas in them or flooding them or something similar, you won’t initially be able to do because you have to map and navigate the tunnel to see if there are hostages down there,” he said.

Calling such a scenario a “really wicked problem” and a “nightmare to fight in,” Spencer explained why previously common methods are not feasible under current conditions:
However, he insisted, the presence of hostages underground is not an impossible problem to solve, rather it merely means that forces must move slower and the mission will take more time.
“Israel developed the world’s first hostage rescue teams that the rest of us have now copied. So they have hostage rescue teams and many special forces units that all have underground training,” he said. “They can put a drone into a tunnel beforehand to see if there’s a hostage down there before they do something to it.”
He expressed his belief that for the IDF to accomplish its objectives, it would need several months, “based on other examples.”
“Although the hostages make this situation very unique — there’s no historical precedent for that at this scale — I would say it will take months.”
“I don’t think years, just months,” he said, “but definitely not days, and unlikely weeks.”
However, he maintained, the real question is how much time they have, and not how much time it will take.
“No military gets unlimited time, and Israel doesn’t have unlimited time,” he said. “So that means you’re going to have to make a lot of decisions about risk, and take risks and make hard military decisions.”
CIVILIAN CASUALTIES
With many concerned for civilian casualties, Spencer insisted that “all the laws of war that were created — really, strengthened — after World War Two, have gotten a lot stronger.”
“No more carpet bombing of cities like the U.S. and every other country involved in WWII were trying… whether it’s the London Blitz or Dresden or what the U.S. did to Tokyo,” he stated. “The idea that you can bomb your enemy to your goals has really happened very few times in the history of wars and worked.”
In addition, he stated, such a strategy “definitely wouldn’t accomplish the Israeli mission of destroying military infrastructure and capability.”
“You have to use joint power: air, land, sea, and cyber,” he explained, “but you have to get in there and clear, destroy tunnels, destroy Hamas members, and destroy Hamas rockets.”
“So from a military analyst perspective I think they’re doing pretty good,” he added.
Regarding civilian casualty numbers, Spencer noted that they are “not unlike other battles” in recent history.
“In the Battle of Mosul, there were 10,000 civilian casualties in a city of 1.4 million civilians where ISIS kept the civilians there for a long time before they could start to evacuate,” he said. “But by sheer numbers, they evacuated 80 percent of the urban areas. And while that’s still hundreds of thousands of people, militaries are never able to empty all of the cities, it just never happened.”
“Even in WWII in the Battle of Aachen, where we cleared the city four times, there were still hundreds of civilians in the city and lots of civilian casualties,” he added.
He also pointed to when U.S. forces “surrounded Fallujah, and spent six months — that Israel doesn’t have — to empty 90 percent of the civilians there,” yet there were still many casualties.
“So there are a lot of similarities,” he noted.
According to Spencer, when an enemy chooses to defend from urban terrain and use human shields, the results we see are “not abnormal.”
“Really, the civilian casualties are 90 percent of the casualties of modern war, not military,” he explained, “because modern war fights are happening in cities, not fights for cities, which is really ancient, fighting for cities.”
Today, in contrast, militaries fight in cities for a variety of reasons, he noted. For example, Hamas militants “can gain a large amount of power [by fighting] in urban environments.”
“They take away the attacker’s military superiority, just to bring the fighting close and have a slugfest,” he said. “So that means more and more warfare.”
“But out of the last 20 years, 90 percent of the casualties of war have been civilians,” he added.
Spencer also explained that “everybody” misunderstands the notion of proportionality.
“We should not be comparing the amount of Palestinian civilian deaths to the amount of Israeli civilians killed on October 7 — 1,400 versus supposedly 10,000 (I’m highly doubtful that’s an accurate number, but it doesn’t matter),” he said. “That’s not the way war works. That’s not even close to the definition of proportionality — it has nothing to do with it.”
“Every civilian death is, of course, a loss, but people that want the end of the conflict because of the fact that it’s not ‘proportional’ to what happened on October 7, have no understanding of war, the laws of war or how the world works,” he added.
Reflecting on his having taught strategy at West Point for years, Spencer determined that Hamas’ strategy is to “create their own civilians’ deaths and get the world to react,” in order to prevent the IDF from eliminating their military capabilities, — “and it is working.”
“Despite the fact that I can tell every news agency in the world that what we’re seeing in Gaza is not unlike what we’ve seen in battles against ISIS in Mosul, Raqqa, Syria, and Marawi — nobody cares,” he said. “They’re still saying, ‘no, no, stop.’”
“That’s the Hamas strategy, to get so many civilians killed that the IDF will have to stop, and Hamas gets to live to fight another day,” he added.
Another Hamas strategy he indicated is that of buying time.
“Most defenders in history lose, but one of the goals can be just to buy time,” he said. “So Hamas is going to use guerrilla warfare, use complex urban terrain and snipers, ambushes, IEDs, and pop out of tunnels, just to slow the IDF down, so that they can’t achieve their goal quickly.”
“The IDF needs time — and Hamas’ strategy is to take that time away from them, by putting all these pressures, getting every Palestinian, every Muslim of the world, to force international leadership to try to encourage the IDF to stop,” he added.
In light of the above, Israel should “absolutely” be given the time and space to achieve its goals.
And while the IDF needs to be given the time, he acknowledged, it is crucial to “not allow Hamas’ strategy of buying time to succeed.”
DEMONSTRATIONS
On protesters who have come out in large numbers against Israel’s response, Spencer suggested “they have no clue of what war looks like,” despite possibly being well-intentioned.
“War happens in cities, and though it may appear like the IDF is indiscriminately bombing the cities of Gaza, that’s not the case and I have seen nothing that shows that,” he said. “In fact, this looks very similar to most U.S.-backed operations.”
“It’s what happens when an enemy embeds itself in a civilian population and the civilians are in an urban area,” he added. “Every strike is a targeted military target, but this is what war looks like.”
Addressing the “double standards” of those who protest Israel’s fight against Hamas while ignoring significantly controversial events such as the recent move by Pakistan to expel 1.7 million Afghan refugees, Spencer explained that the IDF, for various reasons, is “held to a standard above and beyond any other standard that we hold any other military in the world.”
“It’s scrutinized and held to a standard that isn’t actually within the laws of war,” he said. “It fights in that limelight, at a standard that nobody else is held to.”
However, he noted, Hamas would “slaughter” those protesters “for not being radical Islamic followers.”
“They would slaughter them — do horrific things — just like they slaughtered the people on October 7.,” he added.

It’s an interesting claim.
Qatar is the key backer of the Muslim Brotherhood now, not to mention allegedly tied in with every Islamist terror group from Al Qaeda to the Taliban. There’s little doubt that Rep. Ilhan Omar is an enemy of the United States. However, it’s best to be wary of foreign intel that seems to tell you exactly what you want to hear. The Saudis are fighting Qatar and while they correctly identify Qatar’s role in Jihad, their own hands weren’t all that clean.
So take allegations like these with a grain of salt.
Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-Minnesota-5th) was recruited by a foreign government, received funding from a foreign government, and passed sensitive information through intermediaries to Iran, a Florida court has been told, as The Jerusalem Post confirmed.
The claims came during testimony by Kuwati-born Canadian businessman Alan Bender, who was giving evidence in the trial of Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad al-Thani. The Qatari emir’s brother stands accused of ordering his American bodyguard to murder two people, and of holding an American citizen hostage. His deposition, obtained by Al Arabiya English, was authenticated by the attorney for the plaintiffs, according to the publication.
Speaking from Toronto by video link, Bender told the Florida District Court that he met with Qatar’s Secretary to the Emir for Security Affairs Mohammad bin Ahmed bin Abdullah al-Masnad and two other senior Qatari officials.
According to his sworn deposition, the three officials told him: “If it wasn’t for our cash, Ilhan Omar would be just another black Somali refugee in America collecting welfare and serving tables on weekends.”
Bender testified that the officials asked him to recruit American politicians and journalists as Qatari assets, and that when he objected, was told that several prominent figures were already on the payroll. Omar was described as the “jewel in the crown,” he said.
Qatar “recruited Ilhan Omar from even way before she thought about becoming a government official… They groomed her and arranged the foundation, the grounds, for her to get into politics way before she even showed interest. They convinced her,” he added.
Frankly, Qatar has much better jewels in its crown than a mere congresswoman.
Biden just elevated a Brookings Doha veteran to the closest thing to an ambassador to the “Palestinians”. Qatar asset Jamal Khashoggi became a martyr courtesy of the Washington Post. There are Senate members on both sides of the aisle who spew Qatari propaganda. And there’s been hardly a word of criticism of the Jihadist state from prominent figures in either party with the exception of Senator Ted Cruz or anyone in the media.
I recently ran a story about a much more credible account of how Qatar had spied on Rep. Diaz-Balart and it got almost no play.
Suggesting that Omar is Qatar’s crown jewel in D.C. is like claiming that Manhattan’s crown jewel is a Burger King.
That doesn’t mean that Qatar isn’t recruiting Americans and didn’t groom Omar. Certainly she’s tied in with some of their backed groups. I’m just saying it’s vastly underselling what Qatar has done.
