Former National Security Advisor John Bolton says President Trump pleaded with China's leader to help him win the election in November. Bolton’s new memoir, The Room Where It Happened, has other potentially damning details about the president's conduct. He also alleges House Democrats mishandled Trump’s impeachment process because they never subpoenaed him to testify about the president’s alleged wider transgressions. In addition to an earlier civil lawsuit against Bolton, the Justice Department is now seeking an emergency restraining order to stop publication of his book, but it may be too late.
