CONTINUING ITS ASSAULT ON THE AMERICAN WORKER, U.S. CHAMBER OF COMMERCE BACKS GLOBALIST DEMS FOR OPEN BORDERS

YOU KNOW WHAT THE JOBS, HOUSING AND HOMELESS CRISIS IS, WITH BIDEN'S AMNESTY FOR 40 MILLION MEX FLAG WAVERS WILL ENABLE THEM TO BRING UP THE REST OF MEXICO. NOW DO THE MATH!

Back in February, I reported to you on the myth of the American worker shortage by spotlighting more than 50 stories of tens of thousands of recent U.S. worker layoffs in tech and other high-skilled industries. MICHELLE MALKIN

Chamber of Commerce Backs Freshmen House Dems Over Trade and Immigration

WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has decided to endorse 23 freshmen House Democrats in this fall’s elections, a bipartisan move by an organization that has long leaned strongly toward Republicans.

The country’s largest business group is also endorsing 29 freshmen House Republicans, said a person familiar with the organization’s decision who described the actions. Even so, the decision has prompted internal divisions, with some state chamber officials criticizing the national group’s decision to back freshmen Democrats in their areas.

The House freshmen the chamber is endorsing

include several who face tough reelections, such as

Reps. Abby Finkenauer and Cindy Axne of Iowa, Andy

Kim of New Jersey, Xochitl Torres Small of New

Mexico, Anthony Brindisi of New York, Kendra Horn

of Oklahoma, Joe Cunningham of South Carolina and

Elaine Luria and Abigail Spanberger of Virginia.

The chamber has a long track record of using most of its political might to back Republican candidates, especially with money. But the organization has had to recalibrate its tactics as the once-reliably pro-business GOP has taken a more populist, conservative hue on issues like immigration and trade, reflecting the views of President Donald Trump and hard-right tea party adherents whose numbers in Congress have grown.

In earlier indications of the chamber’s more bipartisan approach, it has boosted some campaign contributions to Democrats and changed how it assigns publicly released scores about whether lawmakers help business, now factoring in whether they try reaching across party lines.

The moves come as Democrats seem all but certain to continue running the House after November’s elections. Any support for Democrats helps the chamber maintain lines of communication with them, especially as growing numbers of progressive Democrats in Congress makes it harder for business groups to find allies in the party.

Democrats in tough reelection fights can cite the chamber’s backing “as a sort of Good Housekeeping seal of approval,” said Liam Donovan, a lobbyist and former GOP political operative.

The chamber is also endorsing freshmen

Democratic Reps. Greg Stanton of Arizona;

Josh Harder, TJ Cox and Harley Rouda of

California; Sharice Davids of Kansas; David

Trone of Maryland; Haley Stevens of Michigan;

Angie Craig and Dean Phillips of Minnesota;

Susie Lee of Nevada; Antonio Delgado of New

York; Colin Allred and Lizzie Fletcher of Texas

and Ben McAdams of Utah.

The person describing the chamber’s endorsements would only do so on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the moves publicly. The decision by the chamber, which issued no statement about the matter, was first reported by The Hill newspaper.

Earlier this year, the chamber said it spent six figures on digital ads opposing Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., in a primary that the progressive lawmaker won easily.

Otherwise, all of the chamber’s $2 million so far in the 2020 campaign on outside spending — money spent without coordinating with candidates — went to helping Republicans, according to the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics. So did all of the $40 million in outside spending by the chamber during the 2018 and 2016 campaigns.

Yet the chamber’s much smaller, direct contributions to candidates have been more evenhanded, if politically pragmatic.

The $210,000 the chamber’s political action committee has donated directly to 2020 candidates’ campaigns has been split about evenly between Democrats and Republicans, the center’s data shows. In 2018, about 2-in-3 dollars it gave to House candidates went to Republicans.

The chamber has also contributed $168,000 this year to GOP candidates for the Senate and nothing to Democrats. Since it is unclear if Republicans will continue running the Senate, the chamber’s contributions to Senate GOP candidates have more political weight than spending on the House, where control isn’t in serious doubt.

Some state chambers complained to U.S. chamber officials about the expected endorsements, arguing that the Democratic lawmakers did not have sufficiently pro-business records.

Chad Warmington, president of the Oklahoma state chamber, opposed the expected endorsement of Horn, who was narrowly elected in 2018 to a district centered on Oklahoma City. Warmington said he believes Horn hasn’t been supportive enough of the state’s oil and gas industry.

“A U.S. chamber endorsement can be persuasive in convincing voters that she’s pro-business,” Warmington said in an interview last week. “And I don’t believe there is enough evidence to say she is. I was saying to them, ‘Stay out’” and don’t endorse anyone.

Alan Cobb, president of the Kansas Chamber of Commerce, said he objected to the U.S. organization’s expected endorsement of Davids, from the Kansas City area. Cobb said he prefers Davids’ GOP opponent, Amanda Adkins, a businesswoman and former member of the state chamber’s board.

Warmington and Cobb both said they’d not been consulted by the national chamber about the endorsements.

Don't Be a Victim of Democrat Abuse and Voter Endangerment

Biden poked his head out of the basement Monday but saw his shadow and quickly retreated back into hiding.  Bad news, America: six more weeks of riots and looting.

Democrats have a problem.  It turns out they can't set cities on fire, destroy local businesses, and unleash rampant violence upon their residents and call it an election strategy.  They can accurately call it domestic terrorism or anti-government insurrection, but those bumper stickers don't sell well when every car parked in Democrat zones of lawlessness from New York City to Portland has already been ransacked and torched.

What to do?  Blame the whole Democrat operation on President Trump, of course.  Somehow, the guy who has been standing up to the mob for four years is secretly leading the mob, too.  Joe Biden's campaign may be bailing out the army of Marxist brownshirts toppling statues in city squares and beating people in the streets, and Soros-installed faux prosecutors may be setting criminals free to commit new and worse crimes, but it's the law-and-order candidate in the White House who is actually to blame.

I know it's a bedrock principle of American politics that Democrats achieve success by simply accusing their Republican opponents of whatever crimes or political transgressions they, themselves, are instigating, but this about-face takes the cake!  After every Democrat fear merchant has spent months bending the knee in support of and allegiance to the enemy occupying forces taking over American towns, they now want us to forget their ties to the Marxist mobs entirely?  That would be like asking Americans to vote for a candidate who is so well known to be suffering from dementia that...wait, scratch that simile.

Democrats do get away with murder, don't they?

This last Saturday, an Antifa operative walked up behind a Trump-supporter in Portland and shot him dead.  There was no heat-of-the-moment fight leading to the murder.  It was a cold-blooded political assassination, and Antifa immediately cheered the result and began fundraising for bulletproof vests while the victim still lay on the street.  Both Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler and "Joke" Biden immediately blamed President Trump, while giving Antifa and their murderous allies another pass.  It was murder most foul, and Democrats took sides with the murderer.  Only in Biden's America can a person be killed for his political views and immediately be blamed by the national press and Democrats before even being carried away.  The lives of Trump-supporters just don't matter.

This type of Democrat political violence should have been highlighted and eradicated back in 2017, when a Bernie Sanders–supporter and frequent emailer of Democrat Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois attempted to carry out a mass political assassination that could easily have ended with two dozen dead Republican congressmen.  That attack nearly changed the balance of power in Washington and the course of national history, but still Jeff Flake and other apologists found it easier to blame President Trump rather than call out the relentless Democrat campaign to tar his presidency as illegitimate and a national threat.  Because the press and the Democrats ignored the violence breathing life into their political party, they implicitly sanctioned all the acts of violence that have continued to the current day.  If Antifa and BLM someday achieve what the 2017 shooter did not, nobody in America will be surprised because nobody in America has seen any pushback against the Democratic Party's sympathies for acts of domestic terror.

There is no reason for Americans to accept Democrat terror as an inevitable "new normal," though.

If you have been surviving in a pocket of America where Democrats have forced you into unemployment over a virus that is proving less lethal by the day, robbed your kids of an education while using teachers' unions as political weapons, turned your elderly parents' nursing home into a death camp for disease transmission, fire-bombed your favorite restaurant or neighborhood drugstore because you've been deemed insufficiently "woke" and irredeemably racist, and now deprived you of any sports or entertainment shows that don't first take a moment to tell you how awful and evil you are, then you are a victim of Democrat abuse and voter endangerment.

American cities didn't kill themselves, after all.  Democrats did that.  All this mayhem and violence in the streets — the Democrats built that, too.

Democrats have had an absolute monopoly on the way most American cities are governed for fifty to a hundred years.  They run those cities' police departments.  They control the national news media housed in those cities.  They sit on the boards of all the "woke" corporations that fuel their wealth.  They've taken over the sports leagues and replaced entertainment with sermons from the perpetually aggrieved.  They have the backing of the Chamber of Commerce, an organization that prefers Wall Street to Main Street and cashing checks from Chinese communists to aiding American workers.  And the Democrats are Hollywood.

If there is "institutional racism" lurking in the heart of big "blue" cities, by golly it is wholly owned and operated by the Democratic Party.  And if LeBron James thinks the "system" is still rigged against him, then he needs to wake up to who's doing the rigging.  Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti is a Democrat.  Kenosha mayor John Antaramian is a Democrat.  Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey is a Democrat.  New York mayor Bill de Blasio is a Democrat.  Maybe it's time for athletes who insist that "black lives matter" to recognize that seeking help from the party that harms them will only get them more of the same.

For too many years, Democrats have destroyed American cities and gotten away with it.  They've encouraged rioting and looting on the streets and called it "justice."  They've looked the other way while police officers and Republicans are attacked and murdered, and their national politicians pause but a second before once again engaging in the kind of rhetoric that only provides legitimacy to future violence.  If the highest-ranking Democrat in the United States, Nancy Pelosi, can call Republicans "enemies of the state" without thinking the recent political assassination in Portland is the natural result, she is mentally unfit to serve.  If she and other national Democrats are well aware of the violence they help seed, then they aren't representing a political party anymore.  They're just part of the revolutionary mob.  Either way, it's time for all of them to go.

Joe Biden’s Immigration Plan to Accelerate Chain Migration Inflow

Democrat Joe Biden’s immigration plan contains hard-to-see policy changes that would dramatically accelerate the inflow of roughly four million chain migrants.

Biden’s promise is included in his 6,600 immigration platform, titled, “The Biden Plan for Securing Our Values as a Nation of Immigrants.” The document says:

As president, Biden will support family-based immigration by preserving family unification as a foundation of our immigration system; by allowing any approved applicant to receive a temporary non-immigrant visa until the permanent visa is processed;

“This is the equivalent to issuing temporary driver’s licenses to anyone who sends in an application,” said Jessica Vaughan, policy director for the Center for Immigration Studies. “They can have the temporary license until they come back for the road test,’ she said.

If Biden’ plan is adopted, “the sky would be the limit … and besides blowing up the numerical limits on annual immigration [it] would be an enormous boost to the fake-document and fake-marriage industry,” she said, adding:

We don’t (or at least we try not to) let people come live here before they have completed the entire [immigration] application and vetting process … Under the Biden-Harris system, people would simply create fake relationships to get the [initial immigration] petition approved, and then get their temporary visa to come here and just [quit] the application, knowing there is very little interior enforcement to make them go home later, when or if the fraud is discovered.

Each year, roughly four million Americans turn 18 and begin using their skills and diligence to earn wages and salaries.

But the federal government slashes their ability to earn wages and buy homes by delivering roughly one million legal immigrants — including about 600,000 workers — to employers around the United States.

The federal government also allows companies to import and keep roughly 1.3 million foreign contract workers in myriad white collar jobs. Those jobs, including many well paying Silicon Valley jobs, are needed by U.S. graduates to advance in their careers.

Congress and the White House also allows companies to keep roughly 600,000 foreign workers in blue collar seasonal jobs. This inflow allows companies to avoid building a recruitment business to help young people find a variety of decent jobs around the United States.

Congress also does little to deport illegals — or even to deter companies from employing roughly eight million illegal migrant workers.

These federal economic policies help companies and investors by inflating the labor supply, so raising the price of housing, and spiking government spending.

Yet at least 150 million more foreigners want to migrate into the United States.

The federal government does not set any limits on the annual inflow of legal immigrants’ minor children and elderly parents.

But there are limits — and so, waiting lines — for other categories of immigrants, such as adult children, married children, and siblings.

Overall, roughly 3.6 million would-be migrants are waiting in multiple lines, according to a November 2019 report by the Department of State.

For example, more than two million additional people are waiting in the “Fourth Preference” — or F4 line — for the adult siblings of U.S. citizens, but only 65,000 are given green cards each year.

Similarly, the federal government awards 23,400 green cars for the married sons and daughters of green card and citizen immigrants. This “Third Preference,” or “F3,” waiting list includes 647,236 foreign sons and daughters — many of whom will also try to bring in their children and relatives once they are admitted into the United States.

Also, the government provides green cards to 23,400 adult children of new legal green card immigrants, who are not yet citizens. But federal data in November 2019 showed that this F2B  waiting list of 282,551 adult sons and daughters of green-card holders.

Donald Trump's labor & immigration promises for a 2nd term are vague but useful.
They are also better for ordinary Americans than Joe Biden's business-backed, open-ended inflow of wage-cutting & rent-raising blue-collar workers & college-graduates.

CALIFORNIA: THE ONCE GOLDEN STATE NOW IN MELTDOWN DUE TO GLOBALIST DEMOCRAT PARTY POLICIES FAVORING ILLEGALS.

“The state of California is home to more illegal aliens than any other state in the country. Approximately one in five illegal aliens lives in California, Pew reported.”

California’s homeless population was estimated to be about 150,000 in 2019, a number widely believed to be a drastic underestimation. The homeless population increased by 21,000 in 2019 and is expected to grow by another 30,000 this year as a result of the mass unemployment and economic devastation caused by the pandemic. The homeless, many of whom suffer from preexisting medical conditions, are among the most vulnerable to infectious disease.

With 154 billionaires and more wealth than all but the four wealthiest countries in the world, California is at once the richest and the poorest state in the country. According to the United States Census Bureau, after adjusting for the cost of living, California has the highest poverty rate in the nation, with an average of 18.2 percent of its 39.5 million residents living in poverty over the last three years. While the median income in the state is slightly above the national median, costs for housing, electric power and essential goods are far higher than the national average.

California Governor Newsom continues murderous policies as COVID-19 cases in state reach 700,000

31 August 2020

No less than in Republican-controlled states, the Democratic Party administration of California Governor Gavin Newsom has, since the beginning of the pandemic, acted to protect the interests of the ultra-wealthy. It has long since abandoned any serious effort to contain the spread of the virus.

On May 7, six weeks after California became the first state to issue shelter-in-place orders, Newsom announced that the state faced a $54 billion revenue shortfall. One day later, with the state averaging over 1,700 new cases per day, the administration began planning a phased reopening.

On June 12, as the number of cases in the state passed 125,000, with more than 3,600 new cases per day, California moved to stage three of the reopening, allowing indoor businesses such as restaurants, bars and gyms to reopen. During this period, the infection rate exploded from about 1,700 new cases per day on May 8 to more than 5,300 on June 28.

After peaking at over 9,000 new cases per day in late July, and following a renewed closure of bars, indoor dining and gyms, the infection rate now stands at about 6,000 per day. But the push to reopen workplaces and schools threatens to bring about yet another wave of cases.

The level of testing, at 85,000 per day, remains grossly inadequate to monitor, let alone contain, the pandemic.

On August 13, the Los Angeles Times published a timeline titled “How a rush to reopen drove Los Angeles County into a health crisis.” It documented the direct impact of the reopening policy on the number of infections and deaths in Los Angeles. At the time of that exposé, in Los Angeles alone 5,000 had died from COVID-19. In the ensuing three weeks that number has increased by 15 percent.

Despite the alarming data, last Friday Newsom announced a four-tier reopening process that kicks off today with the reopening of hair salons, barber shops and retail stores to 25 percent capacity, to be progressively extended. The measure is being touted as a return to pre-pandemic “freedom”—a clear concession to right-wing complaints that necessary science-based restrictions are a limitation on personal liberties. In reality, the organized opposition to public health-based restrictions in the name of “freedom” is being promoted by the corporate elite in line with its murderous return-to-work policy.

The unfolding economic and fiscal disaster, which the state government has seized upon to deepen its attacks on public education and social infrastructure, threatens to plunge millions of Californians into destitution. The Newsom administration estimates that the 2020-2021 fiscal year will see a 24.5 percent unemployment rate, a nine percent drop in personal income, and a 21 percent decline in new housing permits. These projections are optimistic in light of social reality.

In Los Angeles County, unemployment has only slightly declined—from 20 percent in April to 17.5 percent in July, which means a million people are without employment. A 2020 study by UCLA’s Institute on Inequality and Democracy estimates that almost a half million people living in rental housing in Los Angeles County have no income and are at a high risk of homelessness.

In a recent report, the Public Policy Institute of California found that more than 35 percent of the state, almost 14 million people, live in poverty or “near-poverty.” This section of the population, subjected to poor housing, inadequate medical care and unsafe working conditions, confronts both higher infection and fatality rates than the general population. In July, more than 300 workers—three quarters of the workforce—were infected at a downtown Los Angeles sweatshop owned by Los Angeles Apparel.

The pandemic has swept through California’s notoriously overcrowded prison system, infecting more than 9,300 inmates and 2,200 staff members. Close confinement, poor medical care and limited access to personal protective equipment have led to an infection rate almost five times higher among state prisoners than in the general population. California’s prison population stood at about 117,000 in April 2020, with 32 out of 35 prisons holding incarcerated populations above their design capacities.

A particularly deadly outbreak at the California Institution for Men has resulted in over 1,000 infections and 20 deaths. The transfer of 121 inmates from this prison to San Quentin State Prison resulted in an even deadlier outbreak. More than 2,100 prisoners at San Quentin, half its population at the start of the outbreak, have so far been infected.

BLOG EDITOR: EVEN AS THE STATE CUTS, THE LA RAZA WELFARE STATE EXPANDS.

After decades of stagnant wages and cuts to health care and social services, working people have been made to bear the brunt of the recent $54 billion cut in the state budget, which includes a 10 percent pay cut for state employees, delayed payments to public schools, a $1.7 billion cut in funding for public colleges and universities, and a $248 million cut from housing programs. Newsom, who pledged in mid-May to take a salary cut in solidarity with state workers, has continued to receive his full monthly salary of $17,479.

At an August news conference, Newsom had the audacity to claim that “there is no money sitting in the piggy bank” to pay unemployment benefits. But between March and June, the same period during which the virus was spiking throughout the state, California’s 154 billionaires saw their net wealth increase by about $170 billion, more than triple the budget shortfall.

The trade unions have in every instance acceded to the state’s demands, including a 9.23 percent cut in state workers’ salaries and a suspension of state contributions to retirees’ health care, agreed to by the state’s largest public employees union, Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 1,000. Cal Fire Local 2881 has agreed to a 7.5 percent pay cut.

The trade unions have likewise supported plans to resume in-person instruction in the public school system. While the Los Angeles Unified School District, the second largest in the nation, has opened the school year with fully online instruction, the United Teachers Los Angeles (UTLA), which sold out last year’s teachers strike and paved the way for more budget cuts and school privatizations, is collaborating in school reopening plans.

In a July report, the UTLA proposed a list of half-measures, including keeping students in small “pods,” reducing class sizes, and requiring masks for students and staff. The call for “pods” is practically identical to the Newsom administration’s guidelines, which call for children to be grouped into learning “cohorts” of no more than 14 children and no more than two supervising adults.

The California Teachers Association has likewise called, in the vaguest terms possible, for hand washing, face coverings, social distancing inside classrooms, and “mental health counseling.” Even if these inadequate measures were enforced, they would do little to make classrooms safe for students and educators.

Statewide, counties are allowed to reopen schools if they are off the state’s COVID-19 watch list for two weeks. Orange County and San Diego County, two of the largest counties in the state, are both already off the list. On Monday, the Orange County Board of Education voted to allow schools to resume in-person instruction next month, without masks or social distancing. A group of teachers and parents protested outside the meeting and gathered 26,000 signatures urging the board to reconsider.

According to Los Angeles Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer, the Newsom administration is giving local health officials the ability to grant waivers to school districts that permit schools to reopen for students in grades K-6 once case rates fall under 200 per 100,000 people. This threshold—twenty times what the Centers for Disease Control defines as low incidence—has been chosen not out of consideration for the safety of students and educators, but in order to provide a justification for reopening. On Tuesday, the case rate in Los Angeles County was 196 per 100,000 residents, just under the threshold.

Claims that children transmit the virus less frequently than adults have been shown to be fraudulent. A paper published in the Journal of the American Medical Association found that children under the age of five carry higher amounts of the virus in their nasal passages than older children and adults, while an extensive contact tracing study conducted in Italy found that children younger than 15 years old transmit the virus most efficiently.

The left’s two big albatrosses – Biden and Pelosi

By Patricia McCarthy

One has to wonder, do those on the left, including the media, actually think that Joe Biden is a viable candidate for president?  Do they not realize that Nancy Pelosi is as senile as Joe? Like Joe, she often slurs her words, suffers brain freezes mid-sentence and spews gibberish.  Biden is life-long corruptocrat, a known plagiarist, a pathological liar and a truly mean and evil man.  You can catch a glimpse of  just how mean in the film about Clarence Thomas; it was Biden who grilled him mercilessly during the hearings over Anita Hill’s phony allegations. Biden is a racist as well.  Pelosi is a life-long power-mad lunatic.  She has allowed her own district to dissolve into a homeless camp with all the attendant problems – discarded needles, feces on the streets and sidewalks, and an ever-escalating crime wave.  Smash and grab car burglaries occur by the minute in San Feancisco and there are no consequences for the perpetrators if caught.   Like Sen. Dianne Feinstein,  Pelosi and her husband are millionaires several times over; they’ve become rich because both have been in Congress for so many years.  They all get rich on insider information.  Joe Biden goes further; we all know he used a billion dollars in U.S. aid as leverage to get a Ukrainian prosecutor fired because he was investigating his son.  John Kerry was in on that bit of bribery.  He is as low a form of life as Biden.

And yet, at the moment, Biden is their candidate and Pelosi is their Speaker who embarrasses herself every time she opens her mouth, as does Biden.  Both of them belong in a long-term care facility for the aged.  That the Democrats consider either of these pols a credit to their party is proof of their willful blindness.  Why do they not see what everyone outside of their party can see?  That these two people are way past their sell-by date.  How is Joe going to debate President Trump? He is unable to utter a coherent sentence or answer a simple question.  Pelosi submitted a $3 trillion spending bill that is simply a joke.  Biden has vowed to pick a “woman of color” as his running mate.  Woe be unto him if he doesn’t.

As for the left’s “believe all women” mantra, that went out the window the moment Tara Reade accused Biden of sexual assault.  Reade’s allegations are infinitely more credible than Christine Blasey-Ford’s fabricated accusations against a high school-aged Brett Kavanaugh, but Democrats are so self-unaware, they don’t recognize their own gross hypocrisy.  This time Reade is “making it up.” See Ami Horowitz’ recent video.   Blasey-Ford most likely never met Justice Kavanaugh.  Reade did work in Biden’s office, did report his behavior and tell others at the time.  But the Dems believed Blasey-Ford and don’t believe Reade.  Go figure. Denial is a dangerous and mystifying psychological defense mechanism and the Democrat party is in denial about the mental capacity of its two most prominent “leaders.”

Donald Trump has warned our federal government about the dangers China represents to the US since the 1980s.  He was right and since he took office he has tried to rectify the horrific trade imbalance.  No one can refute the fact that China purposely unleashed the covid virus upon the world but Nancy Pelosi calls Trump’s focus on China “a diversion.”  Is she really that clueless?  Probably not, but destroying Trump is far more important to her than protecting America.  Her comments about Trump’s use of hydroxychloroquine as a prophylactic are outrageous.  It is the most effective drug at the moment, used all over the world.  And Trump is not “morbidly obese” She however is morbidly botoxed and has undergone so much plastic surgery she resembles a character from the film Death Becomes Her.  She is a ghoul in every sense of the word but the left seems not to realize it.  They celebrate how she wields her power.  That is what they admire; it’s the only thing they admire in anyone.  They just cannot abide it in a republican, especially when they were so certain Hillary was going to win the 2016 election and they would all be in fat city.  They would have been all-powerful.  They would have had control of all the levers of power in this country.  And being the spoiled children they are, to this day they cannot accept that defeat, especially to an outsider like Trump.  They love to mock him, to call him stupid but he has them all by the short hairs and runs rings around their collective body of never-Trumpers.

To be sure, Biden and Pelosi have their devoted fans who are so blinded by their hatred of Trump and their thoroughly unwarranted hero worship of Biden and Pelosi that they mistakenly think they are normal and healthy but both are seriously in need of an intervention.  Why Jill Biden allows Joe’s candidacy to continue is a cruelty, a form of elder abuse.  As for Pelosi, where are her five kids telling her it is time to retire?  Of course the lady of iron will would refuse but how much longer can her infirmities be on public display?   Only time will tell but it seems pretty likely Trump has the election in the bag.   Biden is the weakest candidate the democrat party has run since George McGovern and McGovern was a decent man; Biden is not.  As for Pelosi, her district is so damaged, so depressed, they will likely re-elect her and keep her in office until she is 100% wax-ready for Madame Tussaud’s.

Trump Campaign: Democrats Give Housing to Illegal Migrants, Penalizing Black Americans

President Donald Trump’s campaign used the issue of illegal immigration on Thursday to seek votes from working-class blacks.

A short video released by the Trump campaign Twitter account highlighted the president’s record on improving public housing in New York and other cities.

“My name is Judy Smith,” said one black woman, who continued:

I live in New York City public housing. I’m grateful for the spotlight that President Trump is putting on New York City public housing. I think it’s wrong that the Democrats put illegal immigrants before black Americans. How is it that we have people waiting on the waiting lists for New York City public housing for 10 years or more, but yet we have illegal immigrants living here? Something is wrong with that picture.

The comments were likely aimed at working-class blacks in many swing states, including several Midwest states.

“Working-class African Americans are significantly more supportive of policies that seek to: decrease the number of immigrants coming to the United States, increase the federal role in verifying the employment status of immigrants, and attempts to amend the Constitution’s citizenship provisions,” said a 2013 peer-reviewed study by Tatishe Nteta, a professor at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. The study continued:

For African Americans who lost a job to an immigrant, working-class membership resulted in a 13 percentage point increase in the probability of support for an increased federal role in workplace oversight [against employment of illegal immigrants] when compared to middle-class African Americans who experienced a similar loss.

Numerous polls show that blacks — like all other groups — say they wish to welcome migrants, but strongly prefer that Americans get jobs before companies import more migrants.

Nationwide, the expanded supply of new migrants also cuts Americans’ disposable wages by inflating their housing costs. That reality is recognized by investor groups who are urging more immigration. For example, the Economic Innovation Group says, “The relationship between population growth and housing demand is clear. More people means more demand for housing, and fewer people means less demand.”

Mike Bloomberg’s pro-migration advocacy group, New American Economy, pushed the same argument:

The research shows that an increase in the absolute number of immigrants in a particular county from 2000–2010 results in corresponding economic gains—increased demand for locally produced goods and services, a corresponding inflow of U.S.-born individuals—that are reflected in the housing market.

The video also included comments from other blacks in New York:

My name is Manuel Martinez … Under the Trump administration, New York City Housing Authority has received an influx of cash that it has not seen since 1997.

My name is Claudia Perez  I’m the resident council president of Washington Houses, which is in Spanish Harlem. [New York Mayor] Bill de Blasio and the way he has dealt with public housing residents is disgraceful. President Trump administration has opened their ears and has listened … [and] is bringing real solutions to real problems.

The video ends with the claim, “More Funding: Better Housing: Promise Made: Promise Kept.”

Donald Trump's labor & immigration promises for a 2nd term are vague but useful.
They are also better for ordinary Americans than Joe Biden's business-backed, open-ended inflow of wage-cutting & rent-raising blue-collar workers & college-
graduates. https://t.co/OmE4tRPf4T

Another line they cut into: Illegals get free public housing as impoverished Americans wait

Want some perspective on why so many blue sanctuary cities have so many homeless encampments hovering around?

Try the reality that illegal immigrants are routinely given free public housing by the U.S., based on the fact that they are uneducated, unskilled, and largely unemployable. Those are the criteria, and now importing poverty has never been easier. Shockingly, this comes as millions of poor Americans are out in the cold awaiting that housing that the original law was intended to help.

Thus, the tent cities, and by coincidence, the worst of these emerging shantytowns are in blue sanctuary cities loaded with illegal immigrants - Orange County, San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, New York...Is there a connection? At a minimum, it's worth looking at.

The Trump administration's Department of Housing and Urban Development is finally trying to put a stop to it as 1.5 million illegals prepare to enter the U.S. this year, and one can only wonder why they didn't do it yesterday.

According to a report in the Washington Times:

The plan would scrap Clinton-era regulations that allowed illegal immigrants to sign up for assistance without having to disclose their status.

Under the new Trump rules, not only would the leaseholder using public housing have to be an eligible U.S. person, but the government would verify all applicants through the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) database, a federal system that’s used to weed illegal immigrants out of other welfare programs.

Those already getting HUD assistance would have to go through a new verification, though it would be over a period of time and wouldn’t all come at once.

“We’ve got our own people to house and need to take care of our citizens,” an administration official told The Washington Times. “Because of past loopholes in HUD guidance, illegal aliens were able to live in free public housing desperately needed by so many of our own citizens. As illegal aliens attempt to swarm our borders, we’re sending the message that you can’t live off of American welfare on the taxpayers’ dime.”

The Times notes that the rules are confusingly contradictary, and some illegal immigrant families are getting full rides based on just one member being born in the U.S. The pregnant caravaner who calculatingly slipped across the U.S. in San Diego late last year, only to have her baby the next day, now, along with her entire family, gets that free ride on government housing. Plus lots of cheesy news coverage about how heartwarming it all is. That's a lot cheaper than any housing she's going to find back in Tegucigalpa.

Migrants would be almost fools not to take the offering.

The problem of course is that Americans who paid into these programs, and the subset who find themselves in dire circumstances, are in fact being shut out.

The fill-the-pews Catholic archbishops may love to tout the virtues of illegal immigrants and wave signs about getting 'justice" for them, but the hard fact here is that these foreign nationals are stealing from others as they take this housing benefit under legal technicalities. That's not a good thing under anyone's theological law. But hypocrisy is comfortable ground for the entire open borders lobby as they shamelessly celebrate lawbreaking at the border, leaving the impoverished of the U.S. out cold.

The Trump administration is trying to have this outrage fixed by summer. But don't imagine it won't be without the open-borders lawsuits, the media sob stories, the leftist judges, and the scolding clerics.

Los Angeles County Pays Over a Billion in Welfare to Illegal Aliens Over Two Years

BY MASOOMA HAQ

In 2015 and 2016, Los Angeles County paid nearly $1.3 billion in welfare funds to illegal aliens and their families. That figure amounts to 25 percent of the total spent on the county’s entire needy population, according to Fox News.

The state of California is home to more illegal aliens than any other state in the country. Approximately one in five illegal aliens lives in California, Pew reported.

Approximately a quarter of California’s 4 million illegal immigrants reside in Los Angeles County. The county allows illegal immigrant parents with children born in the United States to seek welfare and food stamp benefits.

The welfare benefits data acquired by Fox News comes from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services and shows welfare and food stamp costs for the county’s entire population were $3.1 billion in 2015, $2.9 billion in 2016.

The data also shows that during the first five months of 2017, more than 60,000 families received a total of $181 million.

Over 58,000 families received a total of $602 million in benefits in 2015 and more than 64,000 families received a total of $675 million in 2016.

Robert Rector, a Heritage Foundation senior fellow who studies poverty and illegal immigration, told Fox the costs represent “the tip of the iceberg.”

“They get $3 in benefits for every $1 they spend,” Rector said. It can cost the government a total of $24,000 per year per family to pay for things like education, police, fire, medical, and subsidized housing.

In February of 2019, the Los Angeles city council signed a resolution making it a sanctuary city. The resolution did not provide any new legal protections to their immigrants, but instead solidified existing policies.

In October 2017, former California governor Jerry Brown signed SB 54 into law. This bill made California, in Brown’s own words, a “sanctuary state.” The Justice Department filed a lawsuit against the State of California over the law. A federal judge dismissed that suit in July. SB 54 took effect on Jan. 1, 2018.

According to Center for Immigration Studies, “The new law does many things: It forbids all localities from cooperating with ICE detainer notices, it bars any law enforcement officer from participating in the popular 287(g) program, and it prevents state and local police from inquiring about individuals’ immigration status.”

Some counties in California have protested its implementation and joined the Trump administration’s lawsuit against the state.

California’s campaign to provide public services to illegal immigrants did not end with the exit of Jerry Brown. His successor, Gavin Newsom, is just as focused as Brown in funding programs for illegal residents at the expense of California taxpayers.

California’s budget earmarks millions of dollars annually to the One California program, which provides free legal assistance to all aliens, including those facing deportation, and makes California’s public universities easier for illegal-alien students to attend.

According to the Fiscal Burden of Illegal Immigration on United States Taxpayers 2017 report, for the estimated 12.5 million illegal immigrants living in the country, the resulting cost is a $116 billion burden on the national economy and taxpayers each year, after deducting the $19 billion in taxes paid by some of those illegal immigrants.

BLOG: MOST FIGURES PUT THE NUMBER OF ILLEGALS IN THE U.S. AT ABOUT 40 MILLION. WHEN THESE PEOPLE ARE HANDED AMNESTY, THEY ARE LEGALLY ENTITLED TO BRING UP THE REST OF THEIR FAMILY EFFECTIVELY LEAVING MEXICO DESERTED.

New data from the U.S. Census Bureau shows that more than 22 million non-citizens now live in the United States.
