CALIFORNIA IN MELTDOWN - THE DEMOCRAT-CONTROLLED ONE PARTY SANCTUARY STATE FACES MASSIVE UNEMPLOYMENT AS BIDEN FLOODS CA WITH 'CHEAP' LABOR ILLEGALS

California’s budget earmarks millions of dollars annually to the One California program, which provides free legal assistance to all aliens, including those facing deportation, and makes California’s public universities easier for illegal-alien students to attend.

The backlog of unemployment claims in California keeps growing, as embattled Democratic governor Gavin Newsom faces a reelection campaign brought on by his handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

Calls to the state's unemployment office were up almost 40 percent last month, with 76 percent of those calls still unanswered, indicating a surge in claims that will soon be filed, according to the Sacramento Bee. California's Employment Development Department said the surge has been driven by citizens reaching the end of their benefit year and the passage of federal benefit programs in the past few months.

A Republican-led effort to recall Newsom passed its first threshold in April, when over 1.5 million signatures were collected by disgruntled voters in the state, sending the governor to a special election that will likely be held in November. Nearly 200,000 residents fled the state in 2020 as rising rates of crime and homelessness, as well as soaring housing costs and tax rates, embittered voters and business owners alike.

Many Californians have also been frustrated by the state's harsh lockdown measures, which kept churches shuttered until last month and are still keeping schools from operating in person and at full capacity. In April, Newsom lifted restrictions against in-person worship in the state after the Supreme Court struck down his state's ban for unduly targeting religious observances.

The state's monthly unemployment benefits have increased by billions of dollars since the start of the year, when the federal government passed an additional $300-a-week benefits package that will last until September. The state's unemployment rate is still a little over 8 percent—more than double its pre-pandemic level.

Jen Psaki: Illegal Aliens Are Part of ‘What the American Dream Represents’

President Joe Biden believes illegal aliens are part “of what the American Dream represents,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Friday.

The comment came when a reporter asked Psaki to explain why Biden had just met with six illegal aliens who are campaigning for national amnesty.

The six illegals were brought to the United States as children by their illegal alien parents without legal or public approval. They are enrolled in former President Barack Obama’s legally uncertain work-permit program, dubbed Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). The questioner asked, “What message is the president trying to send by having DACA recipients come here? [You] have all these [political] priorities you have to do, [such as] jobs and infrastructure. … Where does immigration rank?”

Psaki responded by declaring, “I think the president believes that DACA recipients are part of the American story and part of the fabric of who we are as a country and kind of what the American Dream represents. So bringing them here is an opportunity to highlight that:

The establishment of illegal migrants as legitimate participants in Americans’ society would have major political consequences.

For example, it would allow the government to deny American-born children and adults any priority above any illegal migrants. It would allow the government to redistribute Americans’ limited resources and constitutional rights — such as the ballot, political representation, jobs, good housing, cultural priorities, taxpayer-funded resources — towards many millions of foreigners who break multiple law to sneak into the United States.

There are at least 11 million illegal immigrants already in the United States and more arriving every day because of Biden’s border policies. More than 100 million foreigners want to move to the United States, according to Gallup.

Psaki continued:

There has historically been agreement about the powerful stories of DACA recipients, of the incredible contributions they have the potential to make in our country, from Democrats and Republicans. He’s certainly bringing them here to highlight that. And as he said in his joint session address, he believes there’s an opportunity to move forward on areas where we agree, so let’s find areas where we agree on immigration reform.

The vast majority of DACA migrants work in coastal blue-collar workplaces. Like other illegal aliens, they reduce pressure on employers to raise Americans’ wages, invest in labor-saving machinery, or create jobs in the Heartland counties, and also boost consumer sales, housing prices, and stock values. Business and progressive groups are funding an amnesty campaign for the aliens — but fiercely oppose any offsetting measures to prevent any recurrence or additional damage to Americans.

Many polls show that the public strongly opposes the establishment’s bipartisan support for labor immigration, illegal migration, and extraction migration.

Psaki continued:

I will say … he put forward an immigration bill, as you know, on his first day in office. He continues to advocate for that. He talked about it in his joint session speech, and he’ll continue to have conversations and have his senior staff have conversations about how we can move that, or components of that, forward.

Biden’s bill would have a radical impact on Americans. It would flatten middle-class wages and spike housing prices by inflating the population. It would boost Wall Street and allow the Fortune 500 companies to hire an unlimited supply of cheap and subservient foreign graduates instead of American graduates. It would shift political power away from native-born Americans towards the migrants who are increasingly favored by coastal investors and progressives:

Biden’s White House endorsement of illegal migration spotlights the economic and political elite’s growing disfavor of Americans.

The elites’ praise for migrants is a form of “xeno-mania” — excessive praise for outsiders, Mark Krikorian, the director of the Center for Immigration Studies, told Breitbart News on May 2: “The worldview that foreigners are better than Americans is clearly a demotivator for our government [enforcement]. … It may well even embolden [migrants] to break the law because the [elite] Americans don’t take it all that seriously, either.”

But the praise for migrants is often insincere, he said, because it is used to mask the elites’ economic warfare against the many millions of working Americans who are trying to preserve their families’ wages and wealth amid the elites’ invited flood of low-wage workers.

For example, in February 2020, Joe Biden praised the young migrants who were given the quasi-legal work permits under President Barack Obama’s DACA directive:

DACA students are more American than most Americans are. No, I’m serious. Think about it. … They’ve been good, decent citizens, and they’re great additions. By the way … you know [why] our Social Security system is still solvent? Because of immigration. They didn’t cost us anything; they’re paying for it.

Migrants “are a blessing to America,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi declared in February 2018. “These are the best of the best; they are so fabulous,” she said.

“We’re nothing if we’re not a nation of immigrants,” Democrat leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said in December 2020. “Immigrants built this country with their hands, enriched our culture with their minds and spirit, and provided the spark that drives our economy.”

“Small immigrant-owned businesses … are the backbone of our communities — and of our country,” Alejandro Mayorkas, head of Biden’s Department of Homeland Security, said on April 28.

Many establishment Republicans also disfavor Americans. George W. Bush, for example, said in an April 22 interview with Hugh Hewitt:

One of the reasons I wrote the book [about immigrants] was to remind our citizens how fortunate we are to have people like Kim Mitchell in our midst, people who really appreciate freedom, people who are patriotic, people who are, whose entrepreneurial spirits get ignited when they come to a place where if you dream big and work hard, you have a chance to make it.

Sen. Cruz: ‘We’re Seeing Crisis after Crisis after Crisis’ Because Biden Admin. Is the Most Radical in History

“The first four months of the Biden Administration have been the most radical of any administration in history” and it’s caused one crisis after another, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said Thursday.

Biden’s agenda is being dictated by his party’s most radical members, resulting in a broad range of crises, Sen. Cruz said in an interview on Fox News:

“The first four months of the Biden Administration have been the most radical of any administration in history and, unfortunately, Joe Biden has decided to hand over the agenda to the extreme left in his party.”

“We’re seen six trillion dollars in new spending proposed, we’re seeing trillions in new taxes proposed – we’re seeing the border, absolute chaos, the worst it’s been in 20 years, and it’s getting worse and worse and worse because Joe Biden and Kamala Harris won’t enforce the law.

“And we’re seeing, domestically, a crisis. We’re seeing, economically, a crisis – the inflation that is coming.

“When you spend six trillion dollars we don’t have, and you print the money, you create inflation.”

Biden’s policies aren’t just creating crises domestically, they’re creating them abroad, as well, Cruz said:

“And then, abroad, in just a few months, Biden’s managed to undermine our friends and allies, to undermine Israel, to send hundreds of millions of dollars to the Palestinian authorities and Hamas, and to promise the Ayatollah Khamenei billions of dollars.

“And, what’s the reward for that? Hamas is raining rockets on Israel with money that comes from the Ayatollah Khamenei.”

“We are seeing crisis after crisis after crisis, because the Biden-Harris policies are radical and extreme – and they don’t work,” Cruz said.

The Treason Party’s Swiss Banker

The foreign election interference that Democrats love.

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.

The Nazis had a Swiss banker and so do the Democrats.

During President Trump’s first year in office, Indivisible, which the New York Times had described as a left-wing version of the Tea Party, launched a smear campaign falsely accusing President Trump of being subject to Russian foreign financial influence.

“Is Trump colluding with Russia?" the leftist group insinuated. "Until we see Trump’s tax returns, we cannot be certain that foreign governments don’t have leverage over Trump.”

Indivisible repeated this slander a few years later when it held a “Nobody is Above the Law Day”, and demanded “full and total transparency” from Trump even while refusing to name its backers.

The leftist group was pushing the same big Russiagate lie that had originated in the Steele dossier assembled by the Hillary Clinton campaign and was taken up by the Mueller investigation. It was part of a coordinated campaign to slander President Trump as a Russian agent.

At the same time, Indivisible was being funded by Hansjörg Wyss: the richest man in Switzerland.

When Indivisible was asked where its money was coming from it refused to be transparent, invoking "privacy" concerns. The privacy was that of its billionaire foreign donor.

Like Soros, Wyss is a European member of the Democracy Alliance with a troubling past as the CEO of a company accused of medical experiments on patients that led to 5 deaths.

Unlike Soros, he’s financing the radical agenda of the Democrats without the pretense of being an American. As the New York Times noted, the Swiss billionaire “has not disclosed publicly whether he holds citizenship or permanent residency in the United States”.

That hasn’t stopped the Treason Party from taking his money to finance their relentless attempts to stage a political coup.

Wyss’ Berger Action Fund plowed $135 million into one of the Left’s biggest dark money machines which funded everything from the smear campaign against Justice Kavanaugh to efforts to change state election laws to benefit the Democrats. The dark money machine is called the Sixteen Thirty Fund. It’s impossible to understand the irregularities in the 2020 election without also understanding the role of the Sixteen Thirty Fund.

Nevada’s automatic voter registration ballot measure, backed by the ‘Fund’, added over 140,000 “new voters” in a state that Biden won by less than 40,000 votes.

The richest man in Switzerland has made no secret of his hostility to President Trump. “I consider the actions of the Trump administration to be a catastrophe,” he has said.

Wyss’ Berger Action Fund was a major donor to Eric Holder's National Redistricting Action Fund (NRAF) aimed at reshaping the electoral map to benefit Democrats, and plowed cash into the Fund for a Better Future advocating for a “fair 2020 election” and redistricting.

Then there’s The Hub Project, a Wyss operation which used more dark money to go after Republicans and “dramatically shift the public debate and policy positions of core decision makers.” The Hub Project also operates out of the Sixteen Thirty Fund.

Hub fronts like Floridians for a Fair Shake, Keep Iowa Healthy, and North Carolinians for a Fair Economy were part of a machine that went after 19 Republican seats in 2018 on behalf of Wyss and the Democrats.

But the “Floridians” and “North Carolinians” were actually the agents and beneficiaries of a secretive foreign billionaire.

Now the Sixteen Thirty Fund is spending big to push the Democrat plot to rig the vote nationwide with H.R.1 giving them totalitarian control over state elections. Pelosi’s legislative scheme would be a playground for massive voter fraud with automatic and same-day voter registration, a welfare-to-voting pipeline, a ban on Voter IDs and a requirement that every state to allow criminals to vote.

Democrats and their media don’t care if the money for their coup is coming from foreign nationals. Their goal is more important: to turn America into a one-party state.

Nor do they care where Hansjörg Wyss got his money in the first place.

Wyss co-founded Synthes, a medical device manufacturer focused on repairing broken bones. In 2010, Synthes pled guilty to illegally experimenting on patients: its president, and its spine division president and two other executives were sentenced to prison. Even though a manager testified that Wyss had made the decision not to go through clinical trials, and owned half the company he was not charged, and went on pumping his fortune into the agendas of the Left.

The 5 people who died were not so lucky.

Citizens United filed for paperwork demanding to know why the Obama DOJ ignored the federal grand jury indictment which listed Wyss as "Person No. 7." One potential reason was the relationship between Wyss and John Podesta: an Obama adviser who went on to chair Hillary's failed 2016 presidential campaign. Wyss still sits on the board of Podesta’s Center for American Progress alongside Stacey Abrams, Neera Tanden, and Julian Castro.

What does Wyss have in common with them? The $6 million he plowed into the Center.

The elderly patients who died on operating tables, some while representatives of Wyss’ company looked on and watched them suffer, matter a lot less to these progressives than Wyss’ millions.

And whether it was George Soros’ Nazi collaboration, Harvey Weinstein’s sexual predations,  Jeffrey Epstein’s child abuse, the role of megadonors Herbert and Marion Sandler in the financial crisis of ‘08, or the deaths of elderly patients used as human guinea pigs by Wyss’ company, the Democrats have never cared how dirty their donors are.

The dirtier the money, the better. Especially when dark money goes into an even darker network where no light can reach.

“Nobody knows me, and I hope that it stays like this,” Wyss once told a newspaper.

Wyss' action fund donated to the Fund for a Better Future which funded The Democracy Integrity Project: which has worked with Fusion GPS, the smear company behind the Steele dossier, and made large payments to Steele and his associates.

Steele’s dossier spread the big lie that President Trump was beholden to foreign interests, while the Treason Party was quietly on the payroll of a ruthless Swiss billionaire.

Just as the DOJ gave Wyss a pass over the Synthes deaths, the IRS and the FEC have ignored a situation in which a foreigner appears to be spending a fortune to influence US elections.

And is now in a position to finance H.R.1’s coup to turn America into a one-party state.

Democrats and their media spent years lying that President Trump was subject to foreign influence and that he was turning America into a dictatorship. The truth has always been that they were the real treason party and they were the ones funded by foreign interests.

The anti-Trump smear campaign was backed by foreign money and their plot to undermine our elections and turn America into a dictatorship of D.C. bureaucrats is funded by foreign money.

But as Wyss said in a speech while quoting Plato, "Those who tell the stories rule society."

It’s time to stop telling the Treason Party’s stories and tell the truth.

EXCLUSIVE: Criminal Alien Arrests at U.S. Border Exceeds 6K in 2021

Men wearing neon-colored jail clothes signifying immigration detainees walk down a hall at the Theo Lacy Facility, a county jail which houses convicted criminals as well as immigration detainees arrested by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), March 14, 2017 in Orange, California, about 32 miles (52km) southeast of …

As Border Patrol struggles with the surge of migrants this year, a law enforcement source informs Breitbart Texas that more 6,000 migrants with serious criminal records were apprehended since the new fiscal year beginning October 1, 2020. One thousand of those were apprehended in the Rio Grande Valley of south Texas alone.

The term “criminal alien” is not used by the Border Patrol to refer to migrants with only immigration violations. It is reserved for those with criminal convictions for state and federal crimes like murder, rape, sexual assault, burglary, robbery, narcotics, and more.

The source reports that within this total, nearly 700 had convictions for assault and battery; 34 were convicted of homicide; nearly 500 for burglary-related offenses; and more than 300 convicted of sexual offenses.

Most of these individuals are returning to the United States illegally after deportations.

On May 10, Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley Sector arrested an Ecuadoran national convicted for the rape of a minor in New York. A day later, agents in McAllen, Texas, arrested a Salvadoran national who readily admitted to serving seven years for murder and aggravated theft in his home country.

CBP further reports, during Fiscal Year 2020, San Diego agents arrested 25 sex offenders. This year, 25 were arrested in the sector during the first five months–putting them on pace to double the statistic. The San Diego Sector began tracking the annual apprehension of sex offenders in 2019.

Although only a small percentage of migrants illegally entering the country have criminal backgrounds, the source is concerned that many are eluding apprehension. As Border Patrol struggles to process and provide humanitarian care for the latest border surge, fewer agents are on normal duties.

The number of migrants avoiding apprehension by the Border Patrol exceeded 200,000 during the last seven months. The most noticeable increases began in January.

What border crisis? Biden admin redirects funds from COVID pandemic over child-migrant tsunami

Greg Nash/Pool via AP

Follow the money. Joe Biden and his administration have tried claiming that they have the southern border under control, but Politico takes a peek at the emergency measures the White House has been forced to adopt. In recent months, HHS has redirected over $2 billion in funds meant to deal with the pandemic to the child-migration crisis:

The Department of Health and Human Services has diverted more than $2 billion meant for other health initiatives toward covering the cost of caring for unaccompanied immigrant children, as the Biden administration grapples with a record influx of migrants on the southern border.

The redirected funds include $850 million that Congress originally allocated to rebuild the nation’s Strategic National Stockpile, the emergency medical reserve strained by the Covid-19 response. Another $850 million is being taken from a pot intended to help expand coronavirus testing, according to three people with knowledge of the matter.

The reshuffling, which HHS detailed to congressional appropriators in notices over the last two months, illustrates the extraordinary financial toll that sheltering more than 20,000 unaccompanied children has taken on the department so far this year, as it scrambled to open emergency housing and add staff and services across the country.

As Politico’s Adam Cancryn points out, the total amount of redirected funds outstrips the annual appropriation for dealing with unaccompanied minors crossing the border. And that doesn’t count another tranche of nearly a half-billion dollars that HHS redirected from other programs. The Biden administration has done all of this while insisting that the border surge is no crisis, claiming that it’s merely a cyclical phenomenon.

If it’s not a crisis, why is HHS pulling two billion dollars from another crisis to deal with the border? And why is HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra demanding more money from Congress for the Strategic National Stockpile and COVID-19 testing while robbing those funds to deal with an alleged non-crisis at the border?

“The fight against Covid-19 is not yet over,” Becerra testified to a House panel on Wednesday in defense of a budget request that would allocate $905 million for the stockpile. “Even as HHS works to beat this pandemic, we are also preparing for the next public health crisis.”

Becerra later stressed the need to “make sure we’ve got the resources” to replenish the Strategic National Stockpile, which came under scrutiny early in the pandemic after officials discovered it lacked anywhere near the amount of protective equipment and medical supplies needed to respond to the crisis.

While it’s true that Becerra has the authority to redirect funds within HHS, this raises a serious question about Becerra’s honesty in congressional testimony. It has the appearance of a shell game or playing a bait-and-switch trick on Congress. At the same time Becerra is begging Congress for more funding for these programs, he’s draining their accounts to fund the border-crisis response.

Why not just ask for more funding directly for the unaccompanied-minor programs at HHS? Because if Becerra had asked Congress for more funding in those programs, he and the White House would have had to admit to the scope of the crisis on the southern border. This is a deliberate deception, a cover-up that might not rise to a criminal nature but nonetheless shows Biden and his team thumbing their noses at congressional authority.

Perhaps the Senate might want to take a look at Becerra’s deception. That might not happen unless and until the GOP takes back control of the upper chamber, of course. Choose accordingly in 2022.

Biden administration to resume border wall construction after pressure from locals, politicians

Townhall Media/Julio Rosas

Joe Biden came into office and immediately did away with as much of Trump’s border policies as possible. The problem with his ham-handed rushed actions is that it left some critical projects in the lurch. He suspended all border wall construction and now local residents in the Rio Grande Valley have pressured him to adjust his decision.

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) will restart wall construction in the Rio Grande Valley, including repairs. A concrete levee wall will go up for a 13.4-mile stretch. Repairs are set to begin in six weeks in order to prevent flooding. The levee wall will be fitted with safety barriers in six to nine months. The USACE was quick to clarify the wall isn’t being expanded and this will only repair the Rio Grande flood levee for the time being. The Corps of Engineers doesn’t want anyone to think that the bad Orange Man’s wall was moving forward. If Biden won’t complete the wall, the least he can do is see to it that the valley doesn’t flood because the project was halted.

DHS claims that large holes were left in the Rio Grande Valley’s flood barrier system to make way for the wall. Then construction stopped. Now that area has to be repaired to protect against “catastrophic flooding”.

On his first day in office, President Biden issued a Proclamation terminating the redirection of funds diverted for border wall construction, pausing all wall construction to the extent permitted by law, and requiring Federal agencies to develop a plan for funds concerning the Southern Border wall. As DHS continues to review the extensive problems created by the prior administration’s border wall construction and develop its plans, the department will take the following initial steps consistent with the President’s Proclamation to protect border communities:

Repair the Rio Grande Valley’s Flood Barrier System: Construction under the prior administration blew large holes into the Rio Grande Valley’s flood barrier system to make way for a border wall. The flood barrier system had long provided low-lying regions of Hidalgo County, Texas, protection from catastrophic flooding, and these breaches have threatened local communities. DHS will start work to quickly repair the flood barrier system to protect border communities. This work will not involve expanding the border barrier.

Remediate Dangerous Soil Erosion in San Diego: Improper compaction of soil and construction materials along a wall segment constructed by the prior administration is causing dangerous erosion along a 14-mile stretch in San Diego, California. DHS will begin necessary backfill projects to ensure the safety of nearby border communities. This work will not involve expanding the border barrier.

That’s an interesting spin. Instead of admitting that mistakes were made in haste, as Biden felt an urgency to show he is the anti-Trump on the border, his minions at DHS blame soil and flooding problems on the Trump administration. If the wall construction hadn’t been stopped, these problems wouldn’t be an issue.

The Biden administration is facing legal challenges over the halt to wall construction. Senator Shelley Moore Capito, ranking member on the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Homeland Security, and Vice Chairman Sen. Richard Shelby of Alabama demanded Wednesday that the Government Accountability Office (GAO) intervene on the funding Congress allocated for the wall construction. Biden wants to give it back to the Defense Department, where it was taken by the Trump administration. Republicans counter that this is against the law. They say Biden violated the Impoundment Control Act when it suspended border wall projects.

“The law does not permit the pause,” the senators wrote in the Wednesday letter on the basis that Biden never told Congress about a plan to cancel the funding amid his review of it or named a reason for delaying the funded projects.

If GAO issues an opinion, it could give Republicans grounds to sue Biden for holding up the projects, all while the southern border faces the highest number of illegal immigration attempts in 21 years.

“Current external factors — namely, the most acute immigration crisis in recent memory — support expediting work on the border wall system, not halting it,” Capito and Shelby wrote. “Each day this impoundment continues, funds lawfully appropriated for border wall construction are cynically under-executed and a reserve is growing.”

Biden’s halt to wall construction also leaves gaps in the border wall system. This is illogical given the flood of migrants crossing the southern border. It also interrupts regular repair activities.

“Incomplete installations have left gaps in the border wall system, both seen and unseen. Breaks in the physical infrastructure serve as funnels for illegal crossing, human trafficking, and drug smuggling; create environmental hazards; and unnecessarily tax our Border Patrol agents, who have to sit post at these breaks around the clock,” the letter states. “Additionally, ground sensing technology and cameras that enhance the operational effectiveness of the physical barriers await installation or, worse, are installed but not turned on.”

With record numbers of migrants crossing the southern border, now is no time to do anything that helps more to do the same. The people living in the area deserve to be protected from flooding. The rest of the wall should be built, too, but that won’t happen during this administration that favors open borders.

L.A. City Council Committee Approves Mike Bonin Proposal to Study Homeless Shelters at Beaches

The Los Angeles City Council’s Homeless and Poverty Committee voted 4-1 Thursday to authorize a study for a controversial proposal by Councilmember Mike Bonin to build temporary shelters for the homeless at local beaches, among other sites.

As Breitbart News reported last month:

Los Angeles City Council member Mike Bonin has proposed sheltering the city’s growing homeless populations in facilities at local beaches on the Pacific Ocean, provoking the ire of local residents who rely on the beaches for recreation.

Touting what he calls an “everything in” approach to homelessness, Bonin posted his plan last week, which includes a motion to study a “temporary site for single-occupancy tiny homes or safe camping at the county-owned parking lot at Will Rogers State Beach” in Pacific Palisades; similar sites at Dockweiler Beach in Playa Del Rey and Fisheran’s Village in Marina Del Rey; and a “temporary site specifically for RV safe parking at the county-owned parking lot” at Dockweiler.

Bonin includes suggestions for several additional sites on the west side of Los Angeles. His motion does not address the environmental impact of homeless encampments on public beaches, including sewage, drug use, crime, or other problems.

The county’s beaches have been one of the few refuges for local residents during the coronavirus pandemic, when other recreation sites were closed or restricted. The city council used public recreation centers as temporary homeless shelters.

Many local residents were furious.

The Venice Current reported Thursday:

More than 19,000 opponents of the motion have signed a change.org petition against the creation of camping sites and tiny home sites in westside beaches and parks.

In a message to constituents on Wednesday,  Bonin defended his motion.  “These are not encampments. They are an emergency response — an alternative — to encampments, and they are temporary solutions meant to get people off the streets and into homes,” Bonin wrote in an email to constituents with the subject line “The Truth.”

The same promises were made to Venice and Brentwood when Bonin and Mayor Eric Garcetti presented the bridge home concept to the communities. Before moving forward with the projects Bonin told residents: “The promise of ABH Bridge housing is a model of temporary housing that offers service-enriched programs aimed at quickly bringing the homeless off the streets and helping them rebuild their lives.”

Neighbors that surround the [temporary] shelters say they have seen anything but. Violent crime outside the Venice Bridge Home increased 88 percent since opening its doors. The number of encampments outside both ABH facilities have  increased significantly. In Venice, 154 residents are housed in the ABH on Sunset Avenue and Main Street, while more than 200 people are now camping on adjacent sidewalks. Some of those encampments are former ABH residents who have been kicked out or left.

Earlier this week, the Los Angeles Times reported that fires at homeless encampments are becoming a “growing crisis,” noting: “In the first quarter of 2021, they occurred at a rate of 24 a day, making up 54% of all fires the [local] department responded to.”

Bonin’s attempt to defend his proposal as a way to restore local access to parks and beaches in the long run can be found here.

Soaring prices push US households to the edge

Surging prices for necessities like used cars, phones, and housing have caused the biggest jump in “core” consumer prices in nearly four decades, according to new figures released Wednesday by the US Department of Labor (DOL).

Rising prices for food, heating oil, gas, and other necessities are eating into workers’ incomes both in the United States and internationally.

In this April 29, 2020 file photo, a worker restocks chicken in the meat product section at a grocery store in Dallas. (AP Photo/LM Otero)

Workers are finding it increasingly impossible to make ends meet, even if they are employed full-time. The minimum wage in the United States remains at $7.25 per hour, and US President Joe Biden has reneged on his campaign promise to raise it.

Workers’ real average hourly earnings have plunged, falling 3.4 percent over the past year, according to the latest jobs report from the DOL, as companies used the pandemic as a pretext to slash wages over the past year.

Overall consumer prices increased 4.2 percent from a year earlier, the fastest pace since 2008, and significantly above economists’ expectations.

But “core” consumer prices, which exclude food and energy prices, rose 0.9 percent between April and March in the largest monthly increase since 1982.

The surge was extremely broad-based, driven by prices for used cars, air travel, housing, furniture and other consumer goods.

The biggest driver of rising overall consumer prices was rising costs for used cars, which increased by 10 percent over the past month and are up 18 percent for the year. The surge—the highest on record—is driven by the shutdown of auto assembly plants due to a shortage of raw materials, primarily microchips.

In April, the average price for a used car exceeded $25,000 for the first time in history, according to J.D. Power.

The CPI figures significantly underestimate the real price of housing, since they only take into account rent, not the price of owning or renovating a home. Over the past year, home values have shot up more than 10 percent nationwide, and in many of the zip codes, the increases are far higher.

The Wall Street Journal noted that “The median sales price for existing single-family homes was higher in the quarter compared with a year earlier for 182 of the 183 metro areas tracked by the National Association of Realtors, the group said Tuesday. In 89% of those metro areas, median prices rose by more than 10% from a year earlier.”

The increase in home values is affecting those least able to afford them. The value of homes priced under $100,000 have grown the most out of any price point over the past three years, according to an analysis by the Journal .

Lumber prices have more than doubled since the start of the year, making it impossible for many households to carry out much-needed repairs on their homes, and vastly increasing prices for new construction.

The run-up in food prices is driven by surging prices for staples like soybeans and corn, which have increased by more than 50 percent over the past year.

The Los Angeles Times noted that “last month, about 36% of small businesses surveyed by the National Federation of Independent Business indicated that they had raised selling prices, the highest share in 40 years.”

“Any animal that you eat is eating grains, and it’s eating corn, soybeans, or soybean meal, and perhaps even some wheat,” Sal Gilbertie, the CEO and president of Teucrium Funds, told Yahoo Finance Live. “We see the prices of these grains go as high as they’ve been literally since 2012, 2013,” he said.

Dana Peterson, the Conference Board chief economist, told Yahoo Finance Live, “While some of these price increases may fade with the pandemic, some may not.” He said the high grain prices will remain “at least a year, maybe two years.”

Periods of high inflation have previously corresponded with an intensification of the class struggle, with workers demanding higher pay to keep up with rising prices. The sensitivity of the US political establishment to these wage demands was expressed by the decision of the Democratic governor of Connecticut, Ned Lamont, to call up the National Guard to help suppress a strike by 3,400 nursing home workers set to begin Friday morning.

Poll: Majority of Swing Voters Oppose Biden’s Surge of Refugees to U.S.

The majority of swing voters oppose President Joe Biden’s increase of refugee resettlement to the United States, a Morning Consult/Politico poll shows.

After the refugee lobby and Democrats denounced Biden’s original plan to keep the Trump-set refugee cap of 15,000 admissions for Fiscal Year 2021, the administration reversed course and announced they would boost the cap to 62,500 admissions.

The cap is merely a numerical limit and not a goal for the State Department to reach. Already, in the month of April, Biden has increased refugee resettlement by 904 percent compared to the same time last year.

The poll reveals that 52 percent of swing voters, those who identify as Independents, said they opposed Biden’s increasing refugee resettlement while less than 3-in-10 swing voters said they supported the move.

Among Trump supporters, expansive refugee resettlement to the U.S. is opposed by a wide majority. Overall, 84 percent of voters who supported Trump in the 2020 presidential election said they opposed an increase in refugee resettlement — 73 percent of which said they “strongly oppose.”

Only seven percent of Trump supporters said they supported increasing refugee resettlement.

Similarly, nearly 8-in-10 registered Republican voters said they oppose increasing refugee resettlement and just 10 percent said they support increasing the annual cap.

Across all registered voters, a plurality of 47 percent said they oppose Biden’s increasing refugee resettlement while 37 percent said they support the move.

Refugee resettlement to the U.S. is a boon for nine federal contractors who have a vested interest in ensuring as many refugees are resettled as possible because their annual federally-funded budgets are contingent on the number of refugees they resettle.

Those contractors include:

Church World Service (CWS), Ethiopian Community Development Council (ECDC), Episcopal Migration Ministries (EMM), Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS), International Rescue Committee (IRC), U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI), Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services (LIRS), U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), and World Relief Corporation (WR).

Over the last 20 years, nearly one million refugees have been resettled in the country. This is a number more than double that of residents living in Miami, Florida, and would be the equivalent of annually adding the population of Pensacola, Florida, to the country.

Refugee resettlement costs American taxpayers nearly $9 billion every five years, according to research, and each refugee costs taxpayers about $133,000 over the course of their lifetime. Within five years, an estimated 16 percent of all refugees admitted will need housing assistance paid for by taxpayers.

The poll was conducted from May 7 to 9 and included 1,994 registered voters. The margin of error of +/- 2 percentage points.

Migrant Encounters at Southwest Border Jump 944 Percent over April 2020

The number of migrants encountered by officers and agents operating under U.S. Customs and Border Protection along the southwest border with Mexico jumped for the 11th straight month. In April, Border Patrol agents and CBP officers encountered more than 178,000 migrants — a nearly 945 percent increase over the same month in 2020.

CBP officers and Border Patrol agents encountered more than 178,000 migrants in April 2021. This represents an increase of three percent over the record spike in March and a 944 percent increase over April 2020’s reported 17,106 encounters, according to a source operating under the umbrella of U.S. Customs and Border Protection not authorized to speak publicly on the numbers.

While the number of single adults increased in April, the number of unaccompanied minors migrating from the northern triangle countries fell by 12 percent. In March, CBP law enforcement officials encountered 15,918 people under the age of 18 from the northern triangle countries. That number fell in April to 13,962 in April.

Biden Administration officials are apparently going to forego the customary press conference to announce the monthly figures, the source told Breitbart Texas. Instead, they will release the information via a press release and website update. No explanation was provided as to why reporters would not be able to question officials on the report.

In April 2020, CBP encounters fell to an astonishingly low 17,106 migrants as President Donald Trump implemented multiple policies that dropped the illegal border crossings by more than 80 percent. The just over 17,000 migrants apprehended in April 2020 fell from 109,415 during the same month in 2019.

The press release will also reportedly address the number of migrant rescues along the southwest border and the impact of COVID-19 on Border Patrol agents and other CBP employees as the spiking number of untested migrants continue to flood into the U.S. in the highest numbers in 20 years.

Joe Biden to Welcome DACA Illegal Aliens to White House for Amnesty Push

President Joe Biden will welcome illegal aliens eligible and enrolled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program to the White House on Friday to make a legislative push for a massive amnesty plan.

The White House confirmed that Biden will meet with six DACA illegal aliens in the Oval Office to lobby Congress to pass a series of amnesty bills that would provide most of the roughly 11 million to 22 million illegal aliens living in the United States with green cards and, eventually, American citizenship.

NBC News reported:

The individuals Biden will meet Friday underscore the administration’s argument for enshrining that executive action into law, highlighting essential workers in fields like education, agriculture and health care.
[Emphasis added]

“This is an opportunity to send that message that this is a priority for us,” a White House official said. [Emphasis added]

Welcoming DACA illegal aliens at the White House is only the latest effort by Biden to get the House and Senate to pass an amnesty plan that would pack the U.S. labor market with millions of newly legalized foreign workers even as 16.4 million Americans remain jobless.

Last month, in his first address to a joint session of Congress, Biden asked lawmakers to pass his amnesty plan, which Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) admitted in March “doesn’t have support” in Congress.

Analysis of the Biden amnesty revealed the plan would import a foreign-born population nearly the size of California by 2031 as nearly 12 million illegal aliens would have taken advantage of the amnesty provisions by then. Overall, the Biden amnesty would likely bring more than 37.3 million foreign nationals to the U.S. as it doubles current legal immigration levels and gives out more than a million green cards annually.

Biden is also seeking passage of two amnesty plans which passed out of the House in March — one that could provide amnesty to 4.4 million illegal aliens and another that would give green cards to about 2.1 million illegal aliens working on farms.

The amnesty push is being spearheaded by corporate interests such as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Koch brothers’ network of donor class organizations, as well as former President George W. Bush.

As Breitbart News reported, Bush, joined by the Koch-funded Americans for Prosperity, the refugee lobby, the Chamber, and the Business Roundtable, is lobbying Congress to increase legal immigration levels by claiming it will end illegal immigration at the U.S.-Mexico border. In addition, the coalition is urging Congress to pass amnesty.

A DACA amnesty would put more citizen children of illegal aliens — known as “anchor babies” — on federal welfare, as Breitbart News reported, while American taxpayers would be left potentially with a $26 billion bill.

Additionally, about one-in-five DACA illegal aliens, after an amnesty, would end up on food stamps, while at least one-in-seven would go on Medicaid. JOHN BINDER

THE NEW PRIVILEGED CLASS: Illegals!

This is why you work From Jan - May paying taxes to the government ....with the rest of the calendar year is money for you and your family.

Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children. He takes a job for $5.00 or 6.00/hour. At that wage, with six dependents, he pays no income tax, yet at the end of the year, if he files an Income Tax Return, with his fake Social Security number, he gets an "earned income credit" of up to $3,200..... free.

He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent.

He qualifies for food stamps.

He qualifies for free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care.

His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school.

He requires bilingual teachers and books.

He qualifies for relief from high energy bills.

If they are or become, aged, blind or disabled, they qualify for SSI.

Once qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicare. All of this is at (our) taxpayer's expense.

He doesn't worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance.

Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed material.

He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to $30.00/hour in benefits.

Working Americans are lucky to have $5.00 or $6.00/hour left after Paying their bills and his.

The American taxpayers also pay for increased crime, graffiti and trash clean-up.

THE TAX-FREE MEXICAN UNDERGROUND ECONOMY IN LOS ANGELES COUNTY IS ESTIMATED TO BE IN EXCESS OF $2 BILLION YEARLY!

Staggering expensive "cheap" Mexican labor did not build this once great nation! Look what it has done to Mexico. It's all about keeping wages depressed and passing along the true cost of the invasion, their welfare, and crime tidal wave costs to the backs of the American people!

AMERICA: YOU’RE BETTER OFF BEING AN ILLEGAL!!!

This annual income for an impoverished American family is $10,000 less than the more than $34,500 in federal funds which are spent on each unaccompanied minor border crosser.

study by Tom Wong of the University of California at San Diego discovered that more than 25 percent of DACA-enrolled illegal aliens in the program have anchor babies. That totals about 200,000 anchor babies who are the children of DACA-enrolled illegal aliens. This does not include the anchor babies of DACA-qualified illegal aliens. JOHN BINDER

As Breitbart News has reported, U.S. households headed by foreign-born residents use nearly twice the welfare of households headed by native-born Americans.

Simultaneously, illegal immigration next year is on track to soar to the highest level in a decade, with a potential 600,000 border crossers expected.

For example, a DACA amnesty would cost American taxpayers about $26 billion, more than the border wall, and that does not include the money taxpayers would have to fork up to subsidize the legal immigrant relatives of DACA illegal aliens.

Exclusive–Steve Camarota: Every Illegal Alien Costs Americans $70K Over Their Lifetime

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/04/11/exclusive-steve-camarota-every-illegal-alien-costs-americans-70k-over-their-lifetime/

JOHN BINDER

Every illegal alien, over the course of their lifetime, costs American taxpayers about $70,000, Center for Immigration Studies Director of Research Steve Camarota says.

During an interview with SiriusXM Patriot’s Breitbart News Daily, Camarota said his research has revealed the enormous financial burden that illegal immigration has on America’s working and middle class taxpayers in terms of public services, depressed wages, and welfare.

“In a person’s lifetime, I’ve estimated that an illegal border crosser might cost taxpayers … maybe over $70,000 a year as a net cost,” Camarota said. “And that excludes the cost of their U.S.-born children, which gets pretty big when you add that in.”

LISTEN:

“Once [an illegal alien] has a child, they can receive cash welfare on behalf of their U.S.-born children,” Camarota explained. “Once they have a child, they can live in public housing. Once they have a child, they can receive food stamps on behalf of that child. That’s how that works.”

Camarota said the education levels of illegal aliens, border crossers, and legal immigrants are largely to blame for the high level of welfare usage by the f0reign-born population in the U.S., noting that new arrivals tend to compete for jobs against America’s poor and working class communities.

In past waves of mass immigration, Camarota said, the U.S. did not have an expansive welfare system. Today’s ever-growing welfare system, coupled with mass illegal and legal immigration levels, is “extremely problematic,” according to Camarota, for American taxpayers.

The RAISE Act — reintroduced in the Senate by Senators Tom Cotton (R-AR), David Perdue (R-GA), and Josh Hawley (R-MO) — would cut legal immigration levels in half and convert the immigration system to favor well-educated foreign nationals, thus relieving American workers and taxpayers of the nearly five-decade-long wave of booming immigration. Currently, mass legal immigration redistributes the wealth of working and middle class Americans to the country’s top earners.

“Virtually none of that existed in 1900 during the last great wave of immigration, when we also took in a number of poor people. We didn’t have a well-developed welfare state,” Camarota continued:

We’re not going to stop [the welfare state] tomorrow. So in that context, bringing in less educated people who are poor is extremely problematic for public coffers, for taxpayers in a way that it wasn’t in 1900 because the roads weren’t even paved between the cities in 1900. It’s just a totally different world. And that’s the point of the RAISE Act is to sort of bring in line immigration policy with the reality say of a large government … and a welfare state. [Emphasis added]

The immigrants are not all coming to get welfare and they don’t immediately sign up, but over time, an enormous fraction sign their children up. It’s likely the case that of the U.S.-born children of illegal immigrants, more than half are signed up for Medicaid — which is our most expensive program. [Emphasis added]

As Breitbart News has reported, U.S. households headed by foreign-born residents use nearly twice the welfare of households headed by native-born Americans.

Every year the U.S. admits more than 1.5 million foreign nationals, with the vast majority deriving from chain migration. In 2017, the foreign-born population reached a record high of 44.5 million. By 2023, the Center for Immigration Studies estimates that the legal and illegal immigrant population of the U.S. will make up nearly 15 percent of the entire U.S. population.

Another line they cut into: Illegals get free public housing as impoverished Americans wait

https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2019/04/another_line_they_cut_into_illegals_get_free_public_housing_as_impoverished_americans_wait.html

By Monica Showalter

Want some perspective on why so many blue sanctuary cities have so many homeless encampments hovering around?

Try the reality that illegal immigrants are routinely given free public housing by the U.S., based on the fact that they are uneducated, unskilled, and largely unemployable. Those are the criteria, and now importing poverty has never been easier. Shockingly, this comes as millions of poor Americans are out in the cold awaiting that housing that the original law was intended to help.

Thus, the tent cities, and by coincidence, the worst of these emerging shantytowns are in blue sanctuary cities loaded with illegal immigrants - Orange County, San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, New York...Is there a connection? At a minimum, it's worth looking at.

The Trump administration's Department of Housing and Urban Development is finally trying to put a stop to it as 1.5 million illegals prepare to enter the U.S. this year, and one can only wonder why they didn't do it yesterday.

According to a report in the Washington Times:

The plan would scrap Clinton-era regulations that allowed illegal immigrants to sign up for assistance without having to disclose their status.

Under the new Trump rules, not only would the leaseholder using public housing have to be an eligible U.S. person, but the government would verify all applicants through the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) database, a federal system that’s used to weed illegal immigrants out of other welfare programs.

Those already getting HUD assistance would have to go through a new verification, though it would be over a period of time and wouldn’t all come at once.

“We’ve got our own people to house and need to take care of our citizens,” an administration official told The Washington Times. “Because of past loopholes in HUD guidance, illegal aliens were able to live in free public housing desperately needed by so many of our own citizens. As illegal aliens attempt to swarm our borders, we’re sending the message that you can’t live off of American welfare on the taxpayers’ dime.”

The Times notes that the rules are confusingly contradictary, and some illegal immigrant families are getting full rides based on just one member being born in the U.S. The pregnant caravaner who calculatingly slipped across the U.S. in San Diego late last year, only to have her baby the next day, now, along with her entire family, gets that free ride on government housing. Plus lots of cheesy news coverage about how heartwarming it all is. That's a lot cheaper than any housing she's going to find back in Tegucigalpa.

Migrants would be almost fools not to take the offering.

The problem of course is that Americans who paid into these programs, and the subset who find themselves in dire circumstances, are in fact being shut out.

The fill-the-pews Catholic archbishops may love to tout the virtues of illegal immigrants and wave signs about getting 'justice" for them, but the hard fact here is that these foreign nationals are stealing from others as they take this housing benefit under legal technicalities. That's not a good thing under anyone's theological law. But hypocrisy is comfortable ground for the entire open borders lobby as they shamelessly celebrate lawbreaking at the border, leaving the impoverished of the U.S. out cold.

The Trump administration is trying to have this outrage fixed by summer. But don't imagine it won't be without the open-borders lawsuits, the media sob stories, the leftist judges, and the scolding clerics.

Los Angeles County Pays Over a Billion in Welfare to Illegal Aliens Over Two Years

BY MASOOMA HAQ

In 2015 and 2016, Los Angeles County paid nearly $1.3 billion in welfare funds to illegal aliens and their families. That figure amounts to 25 percent of the total spent on the county’s entire needy population, according to Fox News.

The state of California is home to more illegal aliens than any other state in the country. Approximately one in five illegal aliens lives in California, Pew reported.

Approximately a quarter of California’s 4 million illegal immigrants reside in Los Angeles County. The county allows illegal immigrant parents with children born in the United States to seek welfare and food stamp benefits.

The welfare benefits data acquired by Fox News comes from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services and shows welfare and food stamp costs for the county’s entire population were $3.1 billion in 2015, $2.9 billion in 2016.

The data also shows that during the first five months of 2017, more than 60,000 families received a total of $181 million.

Over 58,000 families received a total of $602 million in benefits in 2015 and more than 64,000 families received a total of $675 million in 2016.

Robert Rector, a Heritage Foundation senior fellow who studies poverty and illegal immigration, told Fox the costs represent “the tip of the iceberg.”

“They get $3 in benefits for every $1 they spend,” Rector said. It can cost the government a total of $24,000 per year per family to pay for things like education, police, fire, medical, and subsidized housing.

In February of 2019, the Los Angeles city council signed a resolution making it a sanctuary city. The resolution did not provide any new legal protections to their immigrants, but instead solidified existing policies.

In October 2017, former California governor Jerry Brown signed SB 54 into law. This bill made California, in Brown’s own words, a “sanctuary state.” The Justice Department filed a lawsuit against the State of California over the law. A federal judge dismissed that suit in July. SB 54 took effect on Jan. 1, 2018.

According to Center for Immigration Studies, “The new law does many things: It forbids all localities from cooperating with ICE detainer notices, it bars any law enforcement officer from participating in the popular 287(g) program, and it prevents state and local police from inquiring about individuals’ immigration status.”

Some counties in California have protested its implementation and joined the Trump administration’s lawsuit against the state.

California’s campaign to provide public services to illegal immigrants did not end with the exit of Jerry Brown. His successor, Gavin Newsom, is just as focused as Brown in funding programs for illegal residents at the expense of California taxpayers.

California’s budget earmarks millions of dollars annually to the One California program, which provides free legal assistance to all aliens, including those facing deportation, and makes California’s public universities easier for illegal-alien students to attend.

According to the Fiscal Burden of Illegal Immigration on United States Taxpayers 2017 report, for the estimated 12.5 million illegal immigrants living in the country, the resulting cost is a $116 billion burden on the national economy and taxpayers each year, after deducting the $19 billion in taxes paid by some of those illegal immigrants.

Adios, Sanctuary La Raza Welfare State of California
A fifth-generation Californian laments his state’s ongoing economic collapse.

By Steve Baldwin
American Spectator
What’s clear is that the producers are leaving the state and the takers are coming in. Many of the takers are illegal aliens, now estimated to number over 2.6 million (BLOG: THE NUMBER IS CLOSER TO 15 MILLION ILLEAGLS). The Federation for American Immigration Reform estimates that California spends $22 billion (DATED: NOW ABOUT $35 BILLION YEARLY AND THAT IS ON THE STATE LEVEL ONLY. COUNTIES PAY OUT MORE) on government services for illegal aliens, including welfare, education, Medicaid, and criminal justice system costs.

Liberals claim they more than make that up with taxes paid, but that’s simply not true. It’s not even close. FAIR estimates illegal aliens in California contribute only $1.21 billion in tax revenue, which means they cost California $20.6 billion, or at least $1,800 per household.
Nonetheless, open border advocates, such as Facebook Chairman Mark Zuckerberg, claim illegal aliens are a net benefit to California with little evidence to support such an assertion. As the Center for Immigration Studies has documented, the vast majority of illegals are poor, uneducated, and with few skills. How does accepting millions of illegal aliens and then granting them access to dozens of welfare programs benefit California’s economy? If illegal aliens were contributing to the economy in any meaningful way, California, with its 2.6 million illegal aliens, would be booming.
Furthermore, the complexion of illegal aliens has changed with far more on welfare and committing crimes than those who entered the country in the 1980s. Heather Mac Donald of the Manhattan Institute has testified before a Congressional committee that in 2004, 95% of all outstanding warrants for murder in Los Angeles were for illegal aliens; in 2000, 23% of all Los Angeles County jail inmates were illegal aliens and that in 1995, 60% of Los Angeles’s largest street gang, the 18th Street gang, were illegal aliens. Granted, those statistics are old, but if you talk to any California law enforcement officer, they will tell you it’s much worse today. The problem is that the Brown administration will not release any statewide data on illegal alien crimes. That would be insensitive. And now that California has declared itself a “sanctuary state,” there is little doubt this sends a message south of the border that will further escalate illegal immigration into the state.

"If the racist "Sensenbrenner Legislation" passes the US Senate, there is no doubt that a massive civil disobedience movement will emerge. Eventually labor union power can merge with the immigrant civil rights and "Immigrant Sanctuary" movements to enable us to either form a new political party or to do heavy duty reforming of the existing Democratic Party. The next and final steps would follow and that is to elect our own governors of all the states within Aztlan."
Indeed, California goes out of its way to attract illegal aliens. The state has even created government programs that cater exclusively to illegal aliens. For example, the State Department of Motor Vehicles has offices that only process driver licenses for illegal aliens. With over a million illegal aliens now driving in California, the state felt compelled to help them avoid the long lines the rest of us must endure at the DMV. And just recently, the state-funded University of California system announced it will spend $27 million on financial aid for illegal aliens. They’ve even taken out radio spots on stations all along the border, just to make sure other potential illegal border crossers hear about this program. I can’t afford college education for all my four sons, but my taxes will pay for illegals to get a college education.
