The shameless ingratitude provoked public outrage. Indira Esparza, an illegal alien who took a coveted slot at the taxpayer-funded University of California, milked the system for aid and then marched up to the podium waving the flag of the country she would do anything to avoid being sent back to, couldn't have been surprised by the angry reaction.

After all, activist groups have cautioned illegals since the illegal immigrant marches of 2006 to wave the U.S., not the Mexican, flag. Esparza was clearly confident that she could get away with it despite the offense it caused to the public.

It stands in stark contrast to the criticism that the Confederate flag is drawing following a terrible massacre of black churchgoers by a white supremacist in South Carolina. The Confederate flag will come down, but the Mexican flag still waves, despite the offense.

People with Esparza's chutzpah don't float in out of nowhere. As we suspected, there was a massive support network behind this poster child for arrogant, over-rewarded illegals, putting the lie to her victimhood claims of living in the shadows.

First, she won a coveted place at UCSD's cushy La Jolla-based Preuss charter school, displacing a legal resident in an elite, taxpayer-funded school. After that, she was showered with resources for illegals.

"She received a scholarship from the Patricia and Christopher Weil Family Foundation to help support her undergraduate studies at U.C. San Diego," the UCSD public relations website reads. Still better, she got $10,000 cash from the Chancellor's Associate Scholars program launched in 2013.

"The program essentially provides a full-ride and loan-free UC San Diego financial aid package to eligible students from several underserved high schools," UCSD said.

Esparza called it "ridiculously awesome" in a 2013 interview with the San Diego Union-Tribune. "I don't have to worry so much about my finances. I always have money for books. I have money to buy my parking pass. I have gas money."

Unusual? Not really. Just this month, Facebook billionaire Mark Zuckerberg donated $5 million for college tuition for 400 illegals through the TheDream.US foundation.

Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles gives illegals free rides, too. Students like Esparza are free to take gut majors like political science and even minors like educational studies because it costs them zero.

The Union-Tribune reports that Esparza helped found UCSD's Undocumented Student Services Center, part of a $5 million plan by President Janet Napolitano to "help students in the country illegally obtain access to taxpayer-funded financial aid and other benefits," The College Fix reports.

With U.S. students paying tens of thousands for student loans and being unable to find jobs, why are illegals handed tuition, living expenses and more on a silver platter? And they show their gratitude for that largesse by waving the Mexican flag at their graduations.

Big Tech, Koch Network Cheer Biden’s Amnesty to Flood U.S. Labor Market

JOHN BINDER

Big tech’s lobbying arm and the Koch brothers’ network of donor class organizations are cheering on President Joe Biden’s amnesty plan that would pack the United States labor market with more foreign visa workers for business to hire over American graduates and professionals.

This week, Biden’s amnesty plan was introduced in Congress by Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) as Democrats look to increase foreign competition in the U.S. workforce while more than 17 million Americans are jobless.

Among other things, the plan would:

· Put nearly all illegal aliens in the U.S. on an eight-year path to citizenship

· Provide $4 billion in foreign aid to Central America

· Expand the U.S. labor market with more foreign visa workers

· Expedite green cards for foreign relatives, otherwise known as “chain migration”

· Potentially add 52 million foreign-born residents to the U.S. population

· Eliminate per-country caps, ensuring India monopolizes employment green cards

· Increase the Diversity Visa Lottery program where visas are given out randomly

· Provide green cards to foreign students who graduate in advanced STEM fields

· Bring already deported illegal aliens back to the U.S. to provide them amnesty

For Amazon, millions of newly legalized illegal aliens, foreign visa workers, and chain migrants who would be added to the U.S. labor market as a result of the plan are a boon to multinational corporations’ profits.

“Today’s immigration reform bill marks an important step in reducing the green card backlog, creating a pathway to citizenship for Dreamers & making our immigration system more efficient,” Amazon officials wrote in a statement. “We look forward working [with] the administration and Congress to advance these proposed solutions.”

Today's immigration reform bill marks an important step in reducing the green card backlog, creating a pathway to citizenship for Dreamers & making our immigration system more efficient. We look forward working w/ the administration & Congress to advance these proposed solutions.

— Amazon Public Policy (@amazon_policy) February 18, 2021

Specifically, aside from providing Amazon with more foreign visa workers to hire, the plan includes a green card giveaway that would create a green card system where only H-1B foreign visa workers are able to obtain employment-based visas by creating a backlog of seven to eight years for all foreign nationals.

The process would reward outsourcing firms and tech corporations for the decades of outsourcing American jobs to H-1B foreign visa workers.

Executives with the Libre Initiative, a Koch-funded organization, also praised the Biden amnesty plan as “an important first step” to securing the green card giveaway for corporations that they have also long lobbied for.

“There is broad support for proposals like a permanent solution for Dreamers, workforce visa reform, removing per-country caps, efficient border security measures and much more,” Daniel Garza with the Libre Initiative wrote in a statement:

Lawmakers should seize the opportunity and demonstrate that partisan gridlock will not keep the American public waiting another 30 years for congress to enact sensible, permanent solutions. We look forward to working with lawmakers to ensure that we can get nonpartisan, sensible solutions past both chambers and enacted into law.

Todd Schulte with FWD.us, a group that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg created to lobby on behalf of tech corporations, called the amnesty plan a “critical moment for immigration policy” and a “substantial step forward.”

“Congress has a once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform a long-failed and too easily weaponized immigration system,” Schulte wrote in a statement. “The time is now and we will seize this moment.”

Despite the business lobby’s insistence that there is a labor shortage, millions of Americans are out of work today and hundreds of thousands of U.S. graduates enter the labor market every year looking for white-collar professional jobs with competitive pay and good benefits.

Already, the U.S. admits about 1.2 million legal immigrants every year. Another 1.4 million foreign visa workers are brought in annually to take American jobs, many in white-collar professions. The latest data reveals that nearly 6-in-10 workers in Silicon Valley, California — the tech industry’s hub — are foreign-born.

Adios, Sanctuary La Raza Welfare State of California
A fifth-generation Californian laments his state’s ongoing economic collapse.
By Steve Baldwin
American Spectator

By Steve Baldwin
American Spectator
What’s clear is that the producers are leaving the state and the takers are coming in. Many of the takers are illegal aliens, now estimated to number over 2.6 million (BLOG: THE NUMBER IS CLOSER TO 15 MILLION ILLEAGLS). The Federation for American Immigration Reform estimates that California spends $22 billion (DATED: NOW ABOUT $35 BILLION YEARLY AND THAT IS ON THE STATE LEVEL ONLY. COUNTIES PAY OUT MORE) on government services for illegal aliens, including welfare, education, Medicaid, and criminal justice system costs.

Liberals claim they more than make that up with taxes paid, but that’s simply not true. It’s not even close. FAIR estimates illegal aliens in California contribute only $1.21 billion in tax revenue, which means they cost California $20.6 billion, or at least $1,800 per household.
Nonetheless, open border advocates, such as Facebook Chairman Mark Zuckerberg, claim illegal aliens are a net benefit to California with little evidence to support such an assertion. As the Center for Immigration Studies has documented, the vast majority of illegals are poor, uneducated, and with few skills. How does accepting millions of illegal aliens and then granting them access to dozens of welfare programs benefit California’s economy? If illegal aliens were contributing to the economy in any meaningful way, California, with its 2.6 million illegal aliens, would be booming.
Furthermore, the complexion of illegal aliens has changed with far more on welfare and committing crimes than those who entered the country in the 1980s. Heather Mac Donald of the Manhattan Institute has testified before a Congressional committee that in 2004, 95% of all outstanding warrants for murder in Los Angeles were for illegal aliens; in 2000, 23% of all Los Angeles County jail inmates were illegal aliens and that in 1995, 60% of Los Angeles’s largest street gang, the 18th Street gang, were illegal aliens. Granted, those statistics are old, but if you talk to any California law enforcement officer, they will tell you it’s much worse today. The problem is that the Brown administration will not release any statewide data on illegal alien crimes. That would be insensitive. And now that California has declared itself a “sanctuary state,” there is little doubt this sends a message south of the border that will further escalate illegal immigration into the state.

"If the racist "Sensenbrenner Legislation" passes the US Senate, there is no doubt that a massive civil disobedience movement will emerge. Eventually labor union power can merge with the immigrant civil rights and "Immigrant Sanctuary" movements to enable us to either form a new political party or to do heavy duty reforming of the existing Democratic Party. The next and final steps would follow and that is to elect our own governors of all the states within Aztlan."
Indeed, California goes out of its way to attract illegal aliens. The state has even created government programs that cater exclusively to illegal aliens. For example, the State Department of Motor Vehicles has offices that only process driver licenses for illegal aliens. With over a million illegal aliens now driving in California, the state felt compelled to help them avoid the long lines the rest of us must endure at the DMV. And just recently, the state-funded University of California system announced it will spend $27 million on financial aid for illegal aliens. They’ve even taken out radio spots on stations all along the border, just to make sure other potential illegal border crossers hear about this program. I can’t afford college education for all my four sons, but my taxes will pay for illegals to get a college education.

Trump Plans New Executive Order Giving DACA Recipients a 'Road to Citizenship'

During an interview with Telemundo, President Trump broke news of a forthcoming executive order he plans on signing that would create a "road to citizenship" for DACA recipients. DACA, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, is a policy put in place under the Obama administration in 2012 that defers deportation proceedings for certain illegal immigrants. President Trump has changed his stance on the program since first announcing his run for president in 2015.

"I'm going to be signing a major immigration bill as an executive order," Trump announced on Friday.

"One of the aspects of the bill is going to be DACA. We're going to have a road to citizenship," the president said.

Anchor Jose Diaz-Balart asked the president to clarify that the amnesty would be done through an executive order and not a congressional bill. The president and Republicans took issue when President Obama passed the DACA amnesty through executive branch memorandum.

"If you look at the Supreme Court ruling, they gave the president tremendous powers when they said that you can take in, in this case 700,000 or so people ... Based on the powers that they gave, I'm going to be doing an immigration bill," Trump vowed. "One of the aspects of the bill that you'll be very happy with and a lot of people will be, including me and a lot of Republicans, by the way, will be DACA. We'll give them a road to citizenship."

Conservatives were quick to criticize the president's plans.

Before the 2016 presidential election, President Trump had repeatedly promised to terminate the DACA amnesty. But a month after winning office, Trump changed his tune, professing a willingness to work with Democrats to save the program. Trump previously sought to use the DACA amnesty as a bargaining chip to secure funding from Congress for the border wall.

Last month, the Supreme Court ruled in a 5-4 decision to block the Trump administration from ending DACA. Trump characterized the ruling as one that "gives the President of the United States far more power than EVER anticipated." And Trump vowed to "only act in the best interests of the United States of America."

In the ruling, Chief Justice John Roberts acknowledged the executive branch's power to terminate DACA but faulted the Trump administration for not following the proper procedure in its 2017 order to it.

Left tries to debunk reality of criminals in DACA but hard facts tell a scary story

By Monica Showalter

The left is going into full open-borders mode now, arguing that any illegal with a DACA pass to prevent deportation is a sweet little daisy. The craziness started in response to this tweet by President Trump who noted that DACA was loaded with hardened criminals.

"We rate Trump's claim False," sniffed Politifact, always ignoring the actual facts in favor of its own politicized ones.

Now it comes to light that the leftist spin-blather was much worse than anyone imagined.

According to newly released data from the U.S. Citizen and Immigration Service, there are tens of thousands of thugs and criminals among the DACA recipient pool and worse still, there's not a thing the government can do to get rid of them.

WASHINGTON—Today, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) updated data  (PDF, 756 KB) on arrests and apprehensions of illegal aliens who requested Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).

The release of this report reflects the agency’s ongoing focus on transparency. The report provides updated information on known arrests and apprehensions of DACA requestors. The data may include arrests that did not result in convictions or where the charges were dropped or otherwise dismissed.

Among the findings of the release are the following:

· Nearly 110,000 DACA requestors out of nearly 889,000 (12%) had arrest records. Offenses in these arrest records include assault, battery, rape, murder and driving under the influence.

· Of approved DACA requestors with an arrest, 85% (67,861) of them were arrested or apprehended before their most recent DACA approval.

· Of approved DACA requestors with an arrest, more than 31% (24,898) of them had more than one arrest.

· Of all DACA requestors, 218 had more than 10 arrests. Of those, 54 had a DACA case status of “approved” as of October 2019.

“As DACA continues to be the subject of both public discourse and ongoing litigation, USCIS remains committed to ensuring transparency and that the American people are informed about those receiving DACA,” said USCIS Acting Director Ken Cuccinelli. “This agency is obligated to continue accepting DACA requests from illegal aliens as a direct result of the previous administration’s decision to circumvent the laws as passed by Congress. We hope this data provides a better sense of the reality of those granted the privilege of a temporary deferral of removal action and work authorization under DACA.”

Under current DACA guidelines, illegal aliens may be considered for DACA if they have not been convicted of a felony, significant misdemeanor, or three or more “non-significant” misdemeanors not arising out of the same act, omission or scheme of misconduct, and they do not otherwise pose a threat to national security or public safety. The number of arrests illegal aliens have do not necessarily disqualify them from receiving DACA as a matter of discretion.

Some 218 of these creeps had ten or more arrests? And if they were operating in a city like San Francisco, where "quality of life" crimes such as peeing in doorways or spraying graffiti on someone's siding are not prosecuted, you can bet that those arrests would have brought convictions otherwise that were so desperately deserved. We also know that if they had committed these crimes and got put before a leftist judge, and told the leftist that any conviction would have affected their DACA status, they also got off scot-free. Leftist judges have been excusing these criminals from day one. Politifact makes a big deal about arrests that never led to convictions but we all know how these blue cities work.

And the stats are really bad actually.

Twelve percent of these people had arrest records? Of stuff like assault, rape, murder, and drunk driving? How much of the general population has arrest records like that? Statistics differ, but a Google search shows it's generally nowhere near that high and it certainly wouldn't include crimes like the ones the DACA kids bear. For the U.S. population, it's closer to the 10% range at most and that 10% would include the nation's abundant illegal immigrants who aren't DACA recipients, whom we know, already are overrepesented in U.S. jails and prisons.

And some 10,000 of them had arrest records that came after their DACA approvals? One can infer that from the before-DACA and after-DACA arrest records. Obviously, some of these creeps have taken the DACA approval itself as a license to go on a crime spree.

It's bad out there, and it lays out well why DACA, an Obama-era executive order that was signed by President Obama after assorted amnesties failed in Congress, and solely for the purpose of winning the Latino vote in 2012, really needs to be thrown out. It's a shelter for criminals who would never been allowed into the U.S. were they to apply to get in legally. There may be a case for allowing some children of illegals into the country, but DACA is exceptionally ineffective at sorting out the good kids from the disgusting criminals and for that the whole thing needs to be thrown out.

It just shows why the Supreme Court should rule to end that program now.

A DACA amnesty would put more citizen children of illegal aliens — known as “anchor babies” — on federal welfare, as Breitbart News reported, while American taxpayers would be left potentially with a $26 billion bill.

Now is the Time for a Full and Transparent Debate About DACA

 By JENNIFER G. HICKEY

Last weekend, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), released updated statistics which showed nearly 80,000 – or 10 percent – of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) participants had been arrested on charges ranging from DUI and immigration violations to rape and battery.

The data further showed that of nearly 110,000 DACA requestors (out of 889,000) who had an arrest, 85 percent had been arrested before their most recent DACA approval, and more than 31 percent of that same cohort had more than one arrest.

As the USCIS acknowledged in its statement, the report includes arrests, including some which “did not result in convictions or where the charges were dropped or otherwise dismissed.” Defenders of DACA tried to dismiss the findings because the report included arrests, not convictions.

The report, asserted the Cato Institute’s Alex Nowrasteh, “also does not provide the comparable arrest rates for other populations, giving the false impression that that is a high number of arrests for such a small population.” He then tried to use the data to make a “back of the envelope” case that the arrest rate for “U.S. residents” is actually higher.

Contrary to critics’ claims of ulterior motives, Acting USCIS Secretary Ken Cuccinelli said the release was an effort to demonstrate “transparency” about the program and its participants because it remains a “subject of both public discourse and ongoing litigation.”

Transparency is an imperative as the nation moves forward to tackle the fallout from President Obama’s constitutionally-questionable decision to create a program that many observers now believe the Supreme Court will allow to be dismantled. With a court ruling not expected until next spring, Democrats in Congress already are calling for the Senate to move on legislation to grant amnesty to the 700,000 DACA beneficiaries and other illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children.

Transparency is required if lawmakers are seriously considering giving 1.8 million illegal aliens amnesty – and possibly their parents too. And that means being transparent about some of the myths that surround DACA, including that they are all future brain surgeons, teachers of the year, and scientists. Some most certainly are on the path to success. But others have been removed from the program due to gang membership and, as the report shows, some for far more serious crimes.

The USCIS report is also relevant because, as many choose to ignore, DACA was never an actual program. It was, in the words of Obama Homeland Security Department Secretary Janet Napolitano “an exercise of our prosecutorial discretion” for an entire class of people who “lacked the intent” to violate the Nation’s immigration laws.

If members of Congress want to decline to prosecute our immigration laws, they owe the public equal transparency about the consequences of shielding an entire class of people from enforcement. And why other classes of individuals, such as low-level criminal offenses or DUI arrests (since advocates deem this a minor crime) should not also be subject to similar “discretion.”

Seven years after Obama acted without due consideration for the rule of law, it is time for an honest and open discussion about what giving a pass to millions of illegal immigrants would mean.

California Appoints Illegal Alien to State Office

Lizbeth Mateo (Facebook)
Lizbeth Mateo (Facebook)

California has its first “unprotected” illegal alien in state office, after Senate President pro Tem Kevin de León (D-Los Angeles) appointed Lizbeth Mateo to the California Student Opportunity and Access Program Project Grant Advisory Committee.

Mateo, an attorney, was born in Mexico and came to the U.S. illegally at the age of 14 with her parents, who are also illegal aliens, according to the Sacramento Bee.

She complained that illegal aliens are not adequately represented in state government, and described her appointment as a step towards correcting that alleged injustice.

“While undocumented students have become more visible in our state, they remain underrepresented in places where decisions that affect them are being made,” Mateo said, as quoted by Fox News.

De León, who is running for U.S. Senate against incumbent Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), described Mateo as: “a courageous, determined and intelligent young woman who at great personal risk has dedicated herself to fight for those seeking their rightful place in this country,” according to Fox News.

Mateo, however, seems somewhat confused about which country she prefers.

In a Facebook post in 2016, apparently celebrating her graduation from Santa Clara University School of Law, Mateo declared, in Spanish: “[E]verything is dedicated to Oaxaca, Mexico!! to that land that I miss so much.”

Lizbeth Mateo FB (Facebook)

Lizbeth Mateo (Facebook)

While she is the first “unprotected” illegal alien to hold a state office, she is not the first elevated to public office in California. In 2015, the city council of Huntington Park, California, appointed two illegal aliens to city commissions, sparking a public backlash.

De León and other state officials are stoking an ongoing confrontation with the federal government over federal immigration laws.

Clarification: the State Senate indicated that Lizbeth Mateo was the first illegal alien appointed to state office, but in fact she is only the first without any legal protected status. “The Senate announced that the appointment was a first for the state, but that wasn’t true,” the Sacramento Bee noted. Gov. Jerry Brown appointed a DACA recipient to a state office in 2016. The article has been corrected to reflect that.

DHS: Half of the 2014-2020 Southern Migrants Still in U.S.

Half of the blue-collar migrants who openly crossed the southern border between 2014 and 2019 remain in the United States, according to March 2020 data posted by the Department of Homeland Security.

Agents registered 3.5 million arrivals and sent 1.8 million back home via deportations and repatriations by March 2020, said the December 31 report. The report did not include data about the additional migrants who successfully sneaked through the border.

But 280,000 of the 3.5 million were provided “relief,” so allowing them to stay in the United States and eventually get green cards.

That means one in 12 blue-collar migrants get the colossal prize of U.S. residency and citizenship for themselves and all of their descendants — in exchange for surviving the U.S. government’s semi-formal obstacle course of cartels and coyotes, distance and bribes, judges and lawyers, deserts, walls, and border agents.

Moreover, another 1.4 million blue-collar migrants are still living in the United States, mostly while they are waiting for a final court decision, said the report, titled “Fiscal Year 2020 Enforcement Lifecycle Report.”

Many of those 1.4 million not-deported migrants take jobs from U.S. employers. The imported labor reduces the marketplace pressure on employers to compete for American workers with offers of higher wages, better working conditions, and more investment in labor-saving machinery.

Amid enthusiastic sympathy from white-collar progressives, the migrants hold down Americans’ blue-collar wages while also nudging up rents, and they crowd into the K-12 schools needed by the children of blue-collar Americans.

Citizenship is the first prize in the migration obstacle course, said Mark Krikorian, director of the Center for Immigration Studies. But, he added, “everybody who gets in wins something.”  He continued:

If you get in, and can live and work here for a while — even if you ultimately lose, and even if you’re taken into custody and sent home — you’ve still gotten a year or two or three years of ability to live in the United States, to work here, and to establish the connections and networks that lead to future migration.

Only the migrants who get sent home immediately “don’t get anything,” he said:

Some people lose if they mortgaged their little farm or home to pay the smuggler and are turned around immediately (before they can get a U.S. job to repay the loan), or if they’re victimized during the trip. That’s a real loss. No question about it, a real cost.

Most white-collar migrants arrive via the visa worker obstacle course. They include the roughly one million H-1B workers and spouses used by Silicon Valley companies and other firms, the J-1 workers at universities and healthcare chains, and the OPT workers used in the outsourced software sweatshops at the bottom of the Fortune 500’s labor pyramid.

The DHS data shows that 1.8 million southern border migrants were repatriated from 2014 to March 2020.

But the DHS data does not show how many of those deported migrants were deported on arrival without being released into the job market.

Immigration officers sent 840,000 migrants home via expedited processing. Another 600,000 were sent home because they had been deported previously — dubbed “reinstatement of removal” —  and 240,000 other arrivals were sent home as “returns” because they had faced incomplete deportation charges in prior years.

The data also shows that 300,000 migrants have been given a “Final Order” to go home — but have not returned home. That number includes roughly 76,000 people who skipped out on their court hearings. Many of those illegals hold jobs in Democrat-run “sanctuary cities,” much to the disadvantage of lower-skilled and younger Americans.

The data shows that 1.1 million migrants remain in the United States while they wait for a final courtroom decision on whether they can stay or must go home.

The DHS report said:

Encounters with these different groups tend to lead to different paths through the enforcement system, both in terms of whether and how quickly encounters are resolved and what resolution is reached: Encounters with Mexicans tend to lead to repatriations; encounters with Central Americans tend to remain unresolved; and encounters with nationals from countries other than Mexico or the Northern Triangle tend (on average) to lead to relief. Encounters with single adults tend to quickly lead to repatriations, while encounters with FMUAs [Spouses and children] and non-contiguous UACs [Unaccompanied Alien Children] tend to remain unresolved. Encounters with aliens who do not claim a fear of return to their home countries tend to be repatriated, while those who claim fear are more likely to remain in the United States and some eventually get relief.

An appendix to the DHS report shows that 315,000 UACs were accompanied from Central America to the border by coyotes from 2013 to 2020. The vast majority were the children of illegal immigrants who had earned enough money in U.S. jobs to hire coyotes to escort their children to U.S. border officers, who then deliver the young migrants to their parents. Only about 15,000 of these younger migrants have been sent home, while roughly 90,000 were allowed to stay — even though many were coming to work as child laborers in jobs that would have been held by Americans.

The coyotes and migrants improve their odds when they overwhelm the border system, detention facilities, and courtrooms, the DHS report indicated:

The detention pattern yielding the greatest share of unresolved cases were encounters initially placed in detention but then released prior to a final enforcement outcome. These “partially detained” encounters resulted in repatriations just 3 percent of the time and relief just 12 percent of the time, with 85 percent still unresolved, including 18 percent with unexecuted removal orders (14 percent in absentia orders).

That coyotes’ strategy was recently aided by three California judges who directed the agencies to reopen the 1997 Flores catch-and-release gateway through the border.

Overall, the low ratio of total losers to partial or complete winners will encourage the next wave of migrants, said Krikorian:

How could it not, especially once the [Joe] Biden administration comes and let’s even more people in? Even if you don’t win first prize, the second or third prizes are still pretty good, and with a Democratic administration that is going to be more lax in border enforcement, we’re practically inviting people to sneak across the border.

President-elect Joe Biden says his border policies will emphasize the need for “family reunification.” His policy may help more illegal migrants get into the United States by pleading a need to join their spouses, parents, uncles, or aunts.
