KAMALA HARRIS - LIKE HOW MANY LIES MUST I PERPETRATE FOR JOE BIDEN'S ORCHESTRATED AND PREMEDITATED INVASION?

Kamala Harris's weak response to the border crisis -- "do not come, do not come" -- EVEN THOUGH JOE IS ON THE BORDER HANDING OUT WELFARE, 'FREE' HEALTHCARE, JOBS AND VOTER REGISTRATION CARDS!!!

Already, taxpayers are forced to subsidize about $18.5 billion of yearly medical costs for illegal aliens living in the U.S., according to estimates by Chris Conover, formerly of the Center for Health Policy and Inequalities Research at Duke University.

Biden sending in Samantha Power to clean up after Kamala Harris in Central America??

Here's an interesting take from veteran journalist Don Surber, under the headline: WH sends someone to clean up Kamala's mess:

Kamala Harris's weak response to the border crisis -- "do not come, do not come" -- on a trip to Central America has led the Democrat White House to send a grown up there, Samantha Power.

Central American leaders worked with President Trump to stem the flow north. Biden put out the welcome mat. Biden's open borders policy irks the leaders of Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala.

Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei ripped the Democrat White House for weak messaging, in an interview on Fox. Hence the White House's quick action to call in someone from the bullpen.

Here's the AFP News item, which isn't getting a lot of play in the U.S. press -- I was only able to find it on Google posted on obscure third-world and small European country news outlet websites:

USAID chief Samantha Power will visit Central America on her first international trip since taking office as President Joe Biden's administration seeks to tackle root causes of migration, the agency said Friday.

Power, a writer and humanitarian advocate who held senior posts under former president Barack Obama, will visit Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala from June 13-17 and meet with civil society, government and business leaders.

She will also meet beneficiaries of US assistance as well as young people, members of marginalized groups and people affected by severe drought and hurricanes, the US Agency for International Development said in a statement.

Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei ripped the Democrat White House for weak messaging, in an interview on Fox. Hence the White House's quick action to call in someone from the bullpen.

Which makes what Surber said absolutely true.

What I'd add to it, though, is that Power has been working on this for a while, it wasn't the result of a sudden realization from the White House that Harris was a lemon, following her disastrous trip.

Here's the evidence of it -- a May press release here. And some notes about that from my May 15 piece here.

Actually, Power has beavering away on this as administrator of USAID -- her project to nation-build the migrant-exporting part of Central America. She's doing the legwork and homework as one might expect it would be done.

Her coming mission to the three countries of the Northern Triangle is everything Harris's wasn't. Based on the detail, it was the result of actual staff work, meetings, working details, gathering information -- all things Harris has shown no propensity to engage in. Harris just makes it up as she goes along and laughs off tough reporter questions, even from journalistic marshmallows such as CBS's Lester "fairness is overrated" Holt.

As Surber notes, she's from "the bullpen." So it's not surprising. Power lives and breathes this stuff.

Power is all in nation-building, and cut her teeth during the Soros color revolutions of the 1990s, focusing at the time on genocide in Bosnia.

She's a policy nerd and a United Nations-loving globalist bureaucrat. That's what she does, that's who she is. She's got the Eurotrash sensibility down pat. Being from Ireland, America for her is a convenient vehicle with lots of money to get that globalist Davos-style nation-building done. It should be no surprise that she would know well how to do the staff work and administer the aid.

The USAID press releases all pay attention to this being part of the Biden-Harris agenda. They're deferential. But it's pretty obvious that Kamala has never been part of this. Back when Power was reporting on genocide and winning Pulitzer prizes and palling around with UN official Sergio de Mello, she was out there social mountaineering with San Francisco's Pacific Heights uber-rich. Or sleeping her way up with Willie Brown. Talk about 'geocide,' 'nation-building,' even Rwanda, was never in her wheelhouse. And I doubt the pair either know or like each other. Harris is known to be well-connected with Hillary Clinton and shares some of her personality flaws. Power once called Hillary "a monster."

Power shows work being done ... while Harris does photo-ops.

Yes, she's cleaning up after Harris. Looking forward to the kind of long-term mistakes she makes. They won't be like Harris's errors of public relations and laziness.

Mayorkas: Illegals to Get Aid from DHS Office for U.S. Victims of Migrant Crime

President Joe Biden’s pro-migration border

chief is discarding a Trump-era program to aid

the American victims of crime by illegal

migrants and is replacing it with a program to

help more illegal migrants get green cards

from Americans.

“The Victim Of Immigration Crime Engagement (VOICE) Office is terminated,” said the June 11 announcement from deputies for Alejandro Mayorkas, the secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.

Instead, officials are creating a “Victims Engagement and Services Line” (VESL) to offer:

…a more comprehensive and inclusive victim support system … to all victims regardless of immigration status of the victim or perpetrator. The expanded services provided through VESL will include guidance on available[getting]  U- and T-visa]s[s].

The U visa and T visa programs offer green cards to illegal migrants who help solve crimes. But both programs can be exploited by illegals to get work permits and green cards by fraud. Mayorkas has repeatedly promised to accelerate the award of benefits via the programs. In 2017, Breitbart News reported:

The U visa was created in 2000 to provide visas for up 10,000 witnesses to crimes each year.  But that 10,000 visa-a-year cap was blown wide open by numerous exceptions and expansions because the law gave the residents’ agency officials much authority over how the program is run.

In 2009, 10,937 people applied for the visa. Six years later, 60,710 people applied, according to data provided by DHS to the Immigration Law Reform Institute.

On June 8, Mayorkas promised to keep the “dignity” of migrants “foremost in our efforts.”

For example, Mayorkas said he had issued a directive saying, “we should refer to those individuals as ‘non-citizens’ to reflect that their lawful presence, or their unlawful presence in the United States does not define their dignity as individuals.”

“The dignity that he needs to be concerned about is the dignity of America’s children who are being killed by people who shouldn’t be here in the first place,” responded Mary Ann Mendoza, whose police officer son was murdered by an illegal migrant.

“I met Mayorkas seven years ago at a sheriff’s roundtable discussion in L.A. county,” she said. “I tried to speak with him about the enforcement of laws to save American lives, but he just had no comment.”

“Do I want to call an office for help if it is also helping the guy who killed my son?” asked Don Rosenberg, the president of Advocates for Victims of Illegal Alien Crime. His son was killed in 2010 by an illegal alien driver who was sentenced to 43 days in jail.

“All this administration seems to want to do is help illegal aliens at the expense of law-abiding citizens and legal immigrants,” he added.

Under Mayorkas’s 2021 rules, the dignity of the foreign driver would not be disturbed by deportation.

Pro-migration groups have repeatedly denounced any focus on crime by illegal migrants. In 2017, the VOICES program was slammed by Chris Newman with the National Day Laborer Organizing Network, which lobbies for rules to help illegal migant laborers:

Victims are not more harmed or need greater healing when the perpetrator of those crimes are not citizens. This is clearly not an earnest effort. So you do have to ask what’s going on here. I think it seems pretty clear that this office is designed to gin up fear as part of President Trump’s overall war on non-white immigrants in the United States. I think it’s about, unfortunately, the racist exploitation of grief and tragedy. I think that the office is despicable.

But huge numbers of Americans are victimized or killed by migrants illegally in the United States because pro-migration groups and officials refuse to detain and deport illegal migrants, often because business groups want to use migrants as workers and consumers. For example, Massachusetts cops finally arrested a migrant on June 9, shortly after he had allegedly raped an American teenager. The man had arrived two years ago but was allowed to overstay his 90-day visa.

Some researchers argue that illegal migrants are less likely to commit crimes.

But regardless of their crime ratio to crimes by Americans, the federal policy of allowing illegal migrants to enter and stay in the United States inflicts a massive amount of murder and mayhem on innocent Americans.

For example, a research team that sought to downplay the crime rate by illegals posted the actual crimes committed by illegals in Texas from 2012 to 2018. The illegal alien mayhem allowed by governments generated 213,052 arrests, including 50,590 felony arrests.

The report did not state how many of the 9,182 murder arrests and 693,714 assaults were committed by the many illegals who are being used as wage-cutting workers and revenue-boosting consumers by the state’s business interests.

The hands-off policies reflect the view by Mayorkas and pro-migration groups that the U.S. government should treat illegal migrants just as they treat U.S. citizens.

Texas Democrat Pleads with MSNBC: Joe Biden Must Recognize ‘Pull Factors’ to Migration

WASHINGTON, DC - JUNE 27: U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) speaks to members of the media June 27, 2019 at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, DC. The House has passed a Senate version of a $4.5 billion bill on combating the humanitarian crisis at the southern border. (Photo by Alex …

President Joe Biden’s administration must recognize the “pull factors” inviting many more migrants to cross the U.S. border, threatened Texas Democrat Rep. Henry Cuellar says.

“We have to understand that if we don’t … address both the push factors and the pull factors, we’re gonna keep talking about this year after year,” the Texas border district Democrat told MSNBC on June 10.

For months, Biden officials have blamed migration on the so-called “push factors” in foreign countries. The claimed push factors include crime, poverty, floods, and widespread corruption. By touting the push factors, Biden’s deputies minimized media recognition of his “pull factors.”

Those pull factors include his administration’s tacit offer to migrants of relatively well-paid U.S. jobs, the rollback of workplace enforcement and deportation rules, and the ease of transmitting wages back to family members in the home countries.

But voter pressure is forcing many legislators — including Cuellar — to push back against Biden.

Cuellar told MSNBC:

We also need to address the pull factors of policies that we have here in the U.S. Look, if you notice, this administration — with due respect —  talks about how we’re handling the unaccompanied kids, but that’s one thing. I’m glad and that we’re doing a much better job [with children and youths]. But what about the rest of the people. What about the individual adults are coming in? We have to talk about that.

We always talk about working with Central America, Guatemala, and Mexico to do the dirty things we do not want to do or the uncomfortable things we don’t want to do, and that is to deport people. We want them to deport people before they got here. But we’ve got to enforce the law, and part of the law is that we have to deport the people that don’t have a right to be here in the United States. It’s just plain and simple.

Cuellar has been outspoken against Biden’s lax border protection rules, in part because many of his Latino constituents are strongly opposed to the inflow of economic migrants into their workplaces, communities, housing, and schools.

So far, at least two polls show that a greater share of Latino-origin Americans than white Americans worry about the economic and civic damage of reckless migration.

In 2020, President Donald Trump “won 14 of 28 counties on or near the border that Hillary Clinton had nearly swept in 2016 and he came within 5 percentage points of Biden in traditionally Democratic Starr County [in 2016 Hillary] Clinton won the county by 60 percentage points,” said a June 11 report at TexasTribune.org.

GOP leaders are growing optimistic that they can win a greater share of the Latino vote in southern Texas and are targeting six of the state House seats held by local Democrats. On June 6, a GOP candidate was elected mayor of McAllen, a border city and a Democratic stronghold.

Cuellar asked Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to visit the border chaos:

I invite the President and the Vice President to come — with due respect, not do a state visit, but come and sit down with people.

I’ve lived here all my life. Talk to the sheriffs. Talk to the mayors. Talk to the county judges. Talk to the business leaders. They’re frustrated because they’re seeing people coming in large numbers. We had a meeting in the Laredo area Friday … I have a call today with all the community leaders. They are worried, and they’re concerned. Landowners are concerned. Local sheriffs are concerned. Local police are concerned. Somebody needs to listen to our local communities.

With all due respect, just doing a staged visit is not enough. They have to understand. They don’t need to listen to me. They need to listen to other people that have lived here. We have a lifetime of experience. A visit doesn’t substitute for a lifeline of experience about what we are seeing here.

Biden’s deputies, chiefly Alejandro Mayorkas, the secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, are trying to widen small avenues for wage-cutting migration into American communities.

For example, Mayorkas is pulling the economic migrants through the border via legal side doors that were designed for small numbers of victims of political or religious persecution, stranded travelersvictimized children, and injured voyagers.

Mayorkas’s side-door strategy has yet to be reviewed by judges.

When the number of got-aways is included, Mayorkas’s half-open border policies likely added roughly 100,000 workers who can be hired by employers at very low wages for myriad jobs, including jobs at Chipotle and McDonald’s.

Since at least 1990, employers have benefited from a bubble of cheap labor created by the federal government immigration policies. Unfortunately, the abundant labor has allowed them to cut wages and training and to avoid labor-saving upgrades in blue-collar and farming jobs.

But President Donald Trump’s zig-zag policy of lower migration reduced the federal inflation of the labor supply. This reform is helping blue-collar Americans extract wage increases from their employers — especially from restaurant owners.

On June 10, the Washington Post reported comments from Patrick Whalen, a co-owner of five restaurants in Charleston and Charlotte, N.C.:

After one of his managers told him that a line cook needed to borrow money to get groceries, Whalen was moved to reconsider wages at the company.

“It was just one of those moments where you just kind of stop and you say, ‘Is there a real problem in our industry?’” he said. “We always kind of knew it was there, but we didn’t really know what to do with it.”

The company raised the starting wage for all of its staff to $15 an hour, up from $12 to $13. And it created a “tip the kitchen” program, adding a second line to table checks for gratuity for the back-of-the-house staff, which the restaurant matches up to $500 per night. That move has increased wages for non-tipped employees such as line cooks and dishwashers to an average of $23.80 an hour, Whalen said.

Many Americans are getting wage rises as the economy emerges from the coronavirus disaster. For example, the New York Times reported June 9: “In May, in an effort to hire 20,000 employees in a tight labor market, Chipotle said it was raising wages and would pay workers from $11 to $18 an hour … In May, McDonald’s said it was raising hourly wages for current employees by an average of 10 percent.”

Biden’s flood of migrant labor may end the labor shortage that has benefited working Americans since 2019.

Study: More than 7-in-10 California Immigrant

Welfare

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2018/12/04/study-more-than-7-in-10-california-immigrant-households-are-on-welfare/

More than 7-in-10 households headed by immigrants in the state of California are on taxpayer-funded welfare, a new study reveals.

The latest Census Bureau data analyzed by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) finds that about 72 percent of households headed by noncitizens and immigrants use one or more forms of taxpayer-funded welfare programs in California — the number one immigrant-receiving state in the U.S.

Meanwhile, only about 35 percent of households headed by native-born Americans use welfare in California.

All four states with the largest foreign-born populations, including California, have extremely high use of welfare by immigrant households. In Texas, for example, nearly 70 percent of households headed by immigrants use taxpayer-funded welfare. Meanwhile, only about 35 percent of native-born households in Texas are on welfare.

In New York and Florida, a majority of households headed by immigrants and noncitizens are on welfare. Overall, about 63 percent of immigrant households use welfare while only 35 percent of native-born households use welfare.

President Trump’s administration is looking to soon implement a policy that protects American taxpayers’ dollars from funding the mass importation of welfare-dependent foreign nationals by enforcing a “public charge” rule whereby legal immigrants would be less likely to secure a permanent residency in the U.S. if they have used any forms of welfare in the past, including using Obamacare, food stamps, and public housing.

The immigration controls would be a boon for American taxpayers in the form of an annual $57.4 billion tax cut — the amount taxpayers spend every year on paying for the welfare, crime, and schooling costs of the country’s mass importation of 1.5 million new, mostly low-skilled legal immigrants.

As Breitbart News reported, the majority of the more than 1.5 million foreign nationals entering the country every year use about 57 percent more food stamps than the average native-born American household. Overall, immigrant households consume 33 percent more cash welfare than American citizen households and 44 percent more in Medicaid dollars. This straining of public services by a booming 44 million foreign-born population translates to the average immigrant household costing American taxpayers $6,234 in federal welfare.

Study: Amnesty Will Cost ‘Hundreds of Billions’

NEIL MUNRO

President Joe Biden’s amnesty plan will spike Social Security spending by “hundreds of billions” over the next few decades, according to a forecast by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS).

The February 22 report, titled “Amnesty Would Cost the Social Security and Medicare Trust Funds Hundreds of Billions of Dollars,” says:

The new taxes paid by the average amnesty recipient amount to only half of the $94,500 noted above. The net effect of amnesty is therefore $140,330 [in Social Security benefits] minus $47,250 [in paid taxes], which is about $93,000 per recipient. In any large-scale amnesty, in which millions of illegal immigrants gain legal status, it is easy to see how the net cost could reach into the hundreds of billions of dollars.

The predicted $93,000 per person cost would be a financial burden for taxpayers — but would be a giveaway to business groups because the Social Security payments will be converted into purchases of consumer products, healthcare services, medical drugs, apartments, and food.

At least 11 million people — perhaps 20 million — are living illegally in the United States. The number rises as people overstay their visas, evade deportation orders, or sneak over the border — but it also falls as some migrants get deported, leave, or find ways to get green cards via the rolling “Adjustment of Status” process.

But taxpayers’ expenses are also economic gains for business groups and investors. In January 2020, a coalition of business groups sued deputies for President Donald Trump after he reduced the inflow of poor migrants into the U.S. consumer market, saying:

Because [green-card applicants] will receive fewer public benefits under the Rule, they will cut back their consumption of goods and services, depressing demand throughout the economy …

The New American Economy Research Fund calculates that, on top of the $48 billion in income that is earned by individuals who will be affected by the Rule—and that will likely be removed from the U.S. economy—the Rule will cause an indirect economic loss of more than $33.9 billion … Indeed, the Fiscal Policy Institute has estimated that the decrease in SNAP and Medicaid enrollment under the Rule could, by itself, lead to economic ripple effects of anywhere between $14.5 and $33.8 billion, with between approximately 100,000 and 230,000 jobs lost … Health centers alone would be forced to drop as many as 6,100 full-time medical staff.

CIS promised a more detailed report:

This is just a rough estimate. We are currently working on a detailed model that will provide more precise costs for both Social Security and Medicare. Again, however, any reasonable calculation will produce a large cost, simply because amnesty will convert so many outside contributors into actual beneficiaries.

For years, a wide variety of pollsters have shown deep and broad opposition to labor migration and to the inflow of temporary contract workers into jobs sought by young U.S. graduates.

The multiracialcross-sexnon-racistclass-basedintra-Democratic, and solidarity-themed opposition to labor migration coexists with generally favorable personal feelings toward legal immigrants and toward immigration in theory — despite the media magnification of many skewed polls and articles that still push the 1950’s corporate “Nation of Immigrants” claim.

The deep public opposition is built on the widespread recognition that migration moves money from employees to employers, from families to investors, from young to old, from children to their parents, from homebuyers to real estate investors, and from the central states to the coastal states.

However, Biden’s officials have been broadcasting their desire to change border policies to help extract more migrants from Central America for the U.S. economy. On February 19, for example, deputies of DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas posted a tweet offering support to migrants illegally working in the United States and to migrants who may wish to live in the United States.

We'll get 1 million-plus Biden migrants this year, warns ex-Obama/DHS official now at Harvard.
The warning includes a weak criticism of the ethnic lobbies & open-borders progressives who are undermining an Ivy League giveaway in the amnesty bill.#H1B https://t.co/RqZBEGcxKO

Biden’s HHS Nominee Does Not Rule Out Taxpayer-Funded Healthcare for Illegal Aliens

JOHN BINDER

President Joe Biden’s nominee to lead the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), California Attorney General Xavier Becerra, dodged a question on whether he would push to provide American taxpayer-funded healthcare benefits to illegal aliens.

This week, during a hearing before the Senate Finance Committee, Becerra was asked by Senator Steve Daines (R-MT) about his previous support for decriminalizing illegal immigration and providing illegal aliens with taxpayer-funded healthcare benefits.

Becerra, though, dodged the question by saying he would follow the parameters of the Affordable Care Act, commonly known as Obamacare, which he said allows “very rare” cases of illegal aliens to receive benefits.

The exchange went as follows:

DAINES: You’re on record for pushing for allowing illegal immigrants to receive taxpayer-funded healthcare and for decriminalizing illegal entry into the United States. This coupled with President Biden’s radical plan for granting citizenship to those who are here illegally would potentially lead to hundreds of thousands, if not potentially millions, more people flooding into our country. [Emphasis added]

As you know, in 2016, California passed a law requiring covered Californians to apply for … waivers to allow illegal immigrants to purchase health insurance in the marketplace. This waiver was withdrawn after President Trump’s election. [Emphasis added]

My question is this: Will you attempt to use the waiver authority contained in the Affordable Care Act to grant healthcare benefits to illegal immigrants? [Emphasis added]

BECERRA: Senator, I can tell you that where the law, as it stands now as I see it, it does not allow those who are unauthorized in this country to receive taxpayer-paid benefits except in very rare circumstances and it will be my job to make sure that we are following and enforcing the law. And I can commit to you that that is what we will do. [Emphasis added]

In a letter to Biden, 11 Senate Republicans and 64 House Republicans asked the president to withdraw Becerra’s nomination to be HHS Secretary, citing his support for taxpayer-funded healthcare benefits for illegal aliens, among other issues.

“Mr. Becerra seeks to decriminalize illegal immigration, which would extend expensive government benefits like Medicaid to anyone who illegally crosses our borders,” the letter states.

A Politico report this week suggested Becerra is eyeing plans to provide illegal aliens with taxpayer-funded healthcare benefits should he lead HHS.

“He’s one of those individuals that had exceedingly deep convictions about the need to cover the undocumented individuals in all of our communities,” former Rep. Charles Gonzalez (D-TX) told Politico of Becerra.

Should Becerra become HHS Secretary, he could let illegal aliens onto Obamacare exchanges while pressuring states to pursue similar policies to those in California. Likewise, Becerra could open Obamacare exchanges to particular subgroups of illegal aliens, like those enrolled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

As Breitbart News reported, forcing taxpayers to provide healthcare to all illegal aliens would cost citizens anywhere between $23 billion to $66 billion every single year — potentially a $660 billion bill for taxpayers every decade, without adjusting for inflation and the increasing number of illegal aliens.

Cost is only the first issue facing taxpayers. Medical experts have admitted providing healthcare to illegal aliens would ensure a never-ending flood of illegal aliens arriving at the southern border with “serious health problems” and local hospitals would have to cover the costs.

Already, taxpayers are forced to subsidize about $18.5 billion of yearly medical costs for illegal aliens living in the U.S., according to estimates by Chris Conover, formerly of the Center for Health Policy and Inequalities Research at Duke University.

When U.S. voters were polled by CNN on the issue in July 2019, nearly 6-in-10 said they were opposed to such a policy, including 63 percent of swing voters and 61 percent of self-described “moderates.”
