BIG BUSINESS BACKS BIDEN'S INVASION - THE TRUE COST OF ALL THAT 'CHEAP' LABOR TO BE PASSED ALONG TO MIDDLE AMERICA IN THE FORM OF ANCHOR BABY WELFARE

Big Business Lobby: Amnesty for Illegal Aliens ‘Absolutely Vital’ to U.S.

Big business interests are ramping up their lobbying for amnesty for illegal aliens and more legal immigration to the United States as nearly 16 million Americans remain jobless and millions more are underemployed.

On Thursday, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce held a virtual conference pushing to import more foreign workers to the U.S. to fill American jobs.

Mary Beth Sewald, the CEO of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, said immigrants, not Americans, “built” the U.S. and are the “foundation of this country” while advocating for amnesty and more legal immigration.

Amnesty, Sewald said, is “absolutely vital” to the post-pandemic recovery.

For the upcoming fiscal year, businesses are seeking to outsource nearly 310,000 high-skilled jobs through the H-1B visa program, according to data published by the Dallas Morning News.

Similar trends are occurring with low-skilled jobs where there has been a 60 percent spike over the last four years in the number of foreign H-2A visa workers that U.S. farms have sought to import.

Even as nearly 16 million Americans are jobless and another 4.6 million are underemployed, business executives said the solution to getting workers is not getting jobless Americans off the sidelines of the labor market but rather inflating the labor market with more foreign workers.

“We don’t have the people for all these tech jobs,” an executive with the firm Bresatech told the Dallas Morning News. “But we could have the people if we would just relax our immigration laws and allow those folks to come over.”

The Chamber, for months, has been lobbying Congress to pass an amnesty for illegal aliens while increasing legal immigration levels. In June, Chamber CEO Suzanne Clarke said the group is leading “the charge” for more immigration, as Breitbart News reported, asking for a doubling of the number of foreign H-1B visa workers that businesses can import.

“The world’s best and brightest who want to pour their talent and energy into our economy should have every opportunity to do so, which is why the Chamber will continue to lead the charge in doubling employment-based immigration, including H-1B and H-2B visas,” Clarke said.

A flooded labor market from mass legal and illegal immigration to the U.S. has had a devastating impact on the nation’s working and middle class while redistributing wealth to the highest earners. While creating an economy that tilts in favor of employers, the economic model helped keep wages stagnate for decades.

Between 1979 to 2013, wage growth for the bottom 90 percent of Americans grew just 15 percent. Meanwhile, wage growth for the top one percent of Americans was nearly 140 percent higher.

Researchers have found that a flooded labor market can easily diminish job opportunities and wages for Americans.

One particular study by the Center for Immigration Studies’ Steven Camarota revealed that for every one percent increase in the immigrant portion of an American workers’ occupation, their weekly wages are cut by perhaps 0.5 percent. This means the average native-born American worker today has his weekly wages reduced by potentially 8.75 percent as more than 17 percent of the workforce is foreign-born.

Senate Democrats Hope to Slip as Big an Amnesty as Possible into Budget

Senate Democrats are hoping to slip as big an amnesty for illegal aliens as possible in a filibuster-proof budget that would only need majority support in the United States Senate.

For months, Senate Democrats have eyed using the little-known reconciliation process to jam an amnesty for millions of illegal aliens through Congress with no threat of the filibuster stopping it and only 51 votes in the Senate to approve it.

This week, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) told reporters that while he hopes the amnesty plan includes giving green cards, and thus eventual naturalized American citizenship, to hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens enrolled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, he wants the amnesty to be as big as possible.

“I hope it goes bigger,” Durbin said.

As Breitbart News reported, Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) threw his support behind an amnesty plan via reconciliation last week and suggested this week that he wants the amnesty to resemble that of the failed “Gang of Eight” amnesty from 2013.

“I’m a 2013 immigration supporter. You can look at the 2013 bill and I thought that was a great bill,” Manchin told reporters. “If we had that bill then, we wouldn’t have the problems we’d have today.”

While Manchin has received pushback from West Virginia legislators who told Breitbart News he ought to be more concerned with the interests of American workers rather than multinational corporations, a number of swing state Senate Democrats risk alienating much-needed voters in their states if they support an amnesty plan via reconciliation.

poll provided to Breitbart News showed that six swing state Senate Democrats — including New Hampshire’s Jeanne Shaheen, Georgia’s Raphael Warnock, and Nevada’s Catherine Cortez Masto, who are up for re-election next year — would lose support from voters if they back the amnesty.

Still, the open borders lobby and Biden administration officials have been relentless on slipping an amnesty through the reconciliation process.

Last week, Biden said he would rely on Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough to decide whether an amnesty could be passed via reconciliation.

“That’s for the parliamentarian to decide, not for Joe Biden to decide,” Biden said.

Already, current immigration levels put downward pressure on U.S. wages while redistributing about $500 billion in wealth away from America’s working and middle class and towards employers and new arrivals, research by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine has found.

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has repeatedly found that amnesty for illegal aliens would be a net fiscal drain for American taxpayers while driving down U.S. wages.

Every year, 1.2 million legal immigrants receive green cards to permanently resettle in the U.S. In addition, 1.4 million foreign nationals are given visas to take American jobs while hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens enter the U.S. annually.

AND HOW MANY HOMELESS LEGALS ARE THERE NOW???

Today, there are at least 4.5 million anchor babies in the U.S. under 18-years-old, exceeding the annual roughly four million American babies born every year and costing American taxpayers about $2.4 billion every year to subsidize hospital costs.

Close to 400,000 anchor babies were born in the United States in 2019 as an executive order to end birthright citizenship gets kicked down the road for another year by President Donald Trump’s administration.

Analysis conducted by the Center for Immigration Studies revealed in 2018 that about 300,000 U.S.-born children of illegal aliens are born every year. These children, often referred to as “anchor babies,” immediately obtain American citizenship and anchor their illegal or foreign parents in the country.

In addition, about 72,000 anchor babies are born to foreign tourists, foreign visa workers, and foreign students every year — all of whom obtain immediate American citizenship simply for being born within the parameters of the country.

Altogether, about 372,000 anchor babies are estimated to have been born last year despite a commitment by Trump to sign an executive order ending the nation’s “anchor baby policy” that incentivizes pregnant migrant women to cross the U.S.-Mexico border in the hopes of securing American citizenship for their children.

This indicates that there were more anchor babies born in 2019 than births in each of the 50 states except California and Texas. California residents deliver about 455,000 babies a year, while Texans deliver about 379,000 babies a year, just slightly more than the total annual number of anchor babies born.

For example, there were more than 34 times as many anchor babies born nationwide than American children born in the state of Delaware and nearly five times as many anchor babies born nationwide than the American children born in Arizona.

To date, the U.S. Supreme Court has never explicitly ruled that the U.S.-born children of illegal aliens must be granted automatic American citizenship, and a number of legal scholars dispute the idea.

Many leading conservative scholars argue the Citizenship Clause of the 14th Amendment does not provide mandatory birthright citizenship to the U.S.-born children of illegal aliens or noncitizens, as these children are not subject to U.S. jurisdiction as that language was understood when the 14th Amendment was ratified.

For more than a year, Trump has signaled that he has reviewed signing an executive order to end birthright citizenship, otherwise known as the “anchor baby policy.”

Today, there are at least 4.5 million anchor babies in the U.S. under 18-years-old, exceeding the annual roughly four million American babies born every year and costing American taxpayers about $2.4 billion every year to subsidize hospital costs.

Analysis: Joe Biden ‘Set to Surge’ Illegal Alien Population Across U.S.

President Joe Biden is “set to surge” the number of illegal aliens living across the United States, new analysis provided to Breitbart News details.

The analysis, conducted by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), projects that the nation’s illegal alien population will increase dramatically as a result of Biden’s mass migration agenda where border crossers are routinely being released into the U.S. interior, most illegal aliens are evading deportation, and there are no plans for a crackdown on visa overstays.

The illegal alien population “could exceed 20 million” if Biden “implements all of his preferred policies” by the end of 2024, the analysis estimates.

“… the illegal alien population is set to surge under the Biden administration,” FAIR’s analysis states.

As evidence, FAIR notes that even as former President Donald Trump implemented strict border controls, boosted deportations of illegal aliens, and closed a number of visa loopholes, the illegal alien population “grew considerably” from their estimate of 12.5 million at the start of 2017 to 14.5 million by the end of 2020.

“This can be attributed to a number of reasons, including a strong economy throughout most of [Trump’s] presidency,” the analysis states:

However, it can also be attributed to a failure to enforce some existing laws or implement important policies that would deter migrants from coming to the United States illegally, such as mandatory E-Verify or the prosecution of businesses that hire those who are not authorized to work in the United States. Biden’s recent plans to slip an amnesty into a federal budget, drafted by Senate Democrats, would allow millions of illegal aliens would have “negative impacts on taxpayers,” the analysis states — one being that they would “immediately become eligible for federal welfare programs.”

“Previous reports by FAIR have revealed that illegal aliens earn far less on average than American citizens or lawfully present immigrants,” the analysis continues.

The flood of illegal immigration since Biden took office, the analysis states, is a direct result of Biden’s “promises of amnesty” in addition to his gutting of interior immigration enforcement and ending of most Trump-era border controls.

Analysis by Steven Kopits of Princeton Policy Advisors estimates that the Biden administration will drive nearly 1.7 million illegal aliens to the U.S.-Mexico border by the end of 2021 — making it the worst year for illegal immigration in American history.

For perspective, should nearly 1.7 million illegal aliens arrive at the border this year, this would be a foreign population three times the population of Wyoming.

Heritage Action Launches ‘Save Our Paycheck’ Tour to Highlight How Biden’s Policies Hurt Americans

Republicans Sen. Rick Scott (FL) and Gov. Brian Kemp (GA) will be featured speakers as part of Heritage Action’s national tour in August and September to highlight how President Joe Biden’s economic policies are hurting Americans.

“President Joe Biden and Washington Democrats are leading our nation down an unsustainable path with their failed economic policies and reckless spending,” Scott said in the announcement on Tuesday of the tour. “Americans deserve better. The Democrats’ spending addiction has created an inflation crisis and their solution is to spend more and tax more.”

“And instead of focusing on getting Americans back to work and helping small businesses re-open, Democrats are insistent on paying workers more to stay home and rely on government assistance,” Scott said. “These policies don’t work, and we are seeing it every day.”

The “Save Our Paycheck National Tour” is in response to the “Biden-Harris Administration’s war on Americans’ pocketbooks,” according to Heritage.

Heritage, working with the Coalition to Protect American Workers, will “host state and national officials at local businesses across the country in a series of events aimed at exposing how disastrous President Biden’s policies have been for the American worker.”

“The tour will also highlight the personal testimony of business owners, American workers, and grassroots leaders most impacted by President Biden’s failed economic agenda,” the press release announcing the tour said.

“Thanks to Bidenflation and the Administration’s continued attacks on our pocketbooks, Americans are losing purchasing power every month — blue state lockdowns and Congress’ disastrous spending plans have led to higher taxes and higher unemployment,” Heritage Action Executive Director Jessica Anderson said of the tour. “The Save Our Paychecks tour will shed light on the American workers and businesses who have been left behind by the Biden Administration.”

Erica Kious, the former owner of the now-shuttered San Francisco Salon where House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) got her hair done despite coronavirus pandemic lockdowns, will kick off the event on August 10 in Fresno, California.

“After owning a very successful salon in San Francisco for over ten years, my dreams and hard work came to an abrupt end,” Kious said. “I was ultimately forced to shut down by extreme leftist politics due to the exposure of Nancy Pelosi’s hypocritical actions in my salon relative to the mask policies surrounding the coronavirus pandemic.”

“Americans need to know that the left is dedicated to destroying small business owners like me and hurting American workers—it’s time to save our paychecks.”

The Florida Politics website reported on the tour:

Scott has repeatedly hammered the Biden administration for big spending, noting the national debt as a major concern.

“President Biden’s silence on inflation is deafening, and his lack of leadership in the face of this serious threat is hurting people every day. Every increase in food, gas and household good prices, even increases of just a few cents, negatively impact families, especially low-income families and those on fixed incomes. For our nation’s poorest families, like mine growing up, rising prices are devastating — I know because I watched my parents struggle with inflation and putting food on the table when I was a kid,” Scott said, referencing his personal narrative in comments in May.

Scott, a former two-term Governor of Florida before getting elected to the Senate in 2018, expects people to come around to his way of thinking on these issues and for that mandate to become clear for Republicans in the midterms next year.

“It’s going to be a hell of a 2022,” Scott said during a call with reporters in June.
