JOE BIDEN - WE NEED TO SCATTER OUR ILLEGALS ALL OVER AMERICA AND AMERICAN JOBS - THE INVASION THROUGH ARIZONA WILL HELP

The sector has seen a rise in apprehensions. The groups entering illegally in this area are a troubling sign for Border Patrol in the summer months. Highs in this part of Arizona routinely reach 110 degrees or more. Temperatures this week are forecast to reach 115 degrees. Since January, agents have apprehended more than 100 groups of migrants numbering 50 or greater.

In Fiscal Year 2020, the Yuma Sector was ranked near the bottom for migrant apprehension volume. This year, the number has climbed nearly 800 percent to 47,358, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection as of May.

“Republicans need to have the courage to stand up for the average American,” Brooks, a candidate for U.S. Senate, told Breitbart News at CPAC Dallas, “and quit catering to entities like the United States Chamber of Commerce who are hellbent on punishing Americans by suppressing their wages and taking jobs from them and handing them over to illegal aliens or lawful visa workers.”

“This is the Number 1 priority of the United States Chamber of Commerce: the suppression of wages, hurting American families and we need Republicans who are willing to stand up to that and do what’s in the best interest of America,” he said.

The Chamber, often derided as an organ of the Republican Party, raised eyebrows in the 2020 election when it endorsed 23 Democrats for reelection, The Hill reported.

AZ Candidate Blake Masters: Conservatives Can’t Take the Senate Without Taking Back Arizona

Recently-announced Arizona GOP Senate primary candidate Blake Masters, who is president of the Thiel Foundation, joined SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with Alex Marlow this morning to discuss his bid to oust Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ).

“I’m tossing my hat in the ring so we can take the seat back from the Democrats and from Mark Kelly,” said Masters, who added that he did not believe Arizonan voters genuinely want Democrat representation.

“Once we lost this Senate seat, two Senate seats in a matter of three years, I knew that wasn’t right, that didn’t represent where Arizonans were actually at.”

“I don’t think you can draw a map to retaking the Senate majority in America without going through Arizona,” continued Masters. “You know, this is ground zero. This is going to be probably the most important, certainly one of the two or three most important Senate races in the country.”

Masters went on to discuss the key issues affecting Arizona, including the border crisis that has spun wildly out of control under the Biden administration. He also added that mass legal immigration is also a problem.

“You know, if you look at [the] crazy open border situation, even our legal immigration, which admits more than 1 million people into this country every year, legally, but displacing a lot of Americans who are struggling, it doesn’t work. It doesn’t work. And I want my kids to grow up in a country that works. It did when I was a kid, just 20 or 30 years ago.”

Masters, along with Thiel, was an early critic of globalism, calling it the “enemy of innovation” in their 2014 book Zero to One. Following Thiel’s early endorsement of Donald Trump during the 2016 GOP primaries, Masters served on President Trump’s transition team.

Watch: Another Armed Border Bandit Robs Migrants in Arizona

U.S. Border Patrol released video of a bandit robbing migrants in broad daylight as they attempt to illegally enter near Yuma, Arizona. Officials say the video captures an incident from July 7.

According to the Border Patrol, a camera operator captured the robbery west of Yuma along a riverbed. The unknown assailant purportedly brandished a pistol from his right hip pocket as he demanded the personal belongings of three migrants. Ultimately, he forced the migrant family to surrender a mobile phone and $1,000 pesos or $50 USD.

This is the second armed bandit filmed in the Yuma area in recent weeks. Last month, a similar robbery was recorded by an infrared camera. Such robberies are generally rare events on U.S. soil but have been increasing in frequency, according to Border Patrol.

Although the Border Patrol attempts to respond to such incidents, the remote scenes and the general increase in migrant traffic have made it difficult for agents to counteract the crimes.

The Border Patrol has received five reports of armed bandits in the Yuma area in July 2021. In this latest case, the bandit returned to Mexico and was not caught.

Armed bandits are not a new phenomenon at the southern border. They have proven themselves dangerous to migrants and law enforcement. In 2010, Border Patrol agent Brian A. Terry was gunned down near Rio Rico, Arizona, as he attempted to apprehend armed bandits.

During the current border surge–aside from the threat of robbery or worse from bandits–migrants face uncertain fates at the hands of cartel smugglers and environmentally inhospitable conditions throughout the American southwest.

Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents apprehended more than 100 migrants in the desert near Sasabe, Arizona. Human smugglers abandoned the group that contained more than 90 unaccompanied minors.

Border Patrol agents patrolling the Arizona border with Mexico near Sasabe encountered a large group of migrants, according to a tweet by Tucson Sector Chief Patrol Agent John Modlin. The group consisted of more than 100 migrants.

Included with the group were more than 90 unaccompanied alien children.

“After crossing the border illegally, they were left in the scorching heat until agents arrived,” Chief Modlin wrote.

Elsewhere in the Tucson Sector, Border Patrol agents arrested a Guatemalan man who illegally crossed the border near Nogales, Arizona. A background check revealed a warrant from an Illinois court for Failure to Appear. The agents turned the man over to the Santa Cruz Sheriff’s Office for extradition to Illinois.

Human smugglers find many ways to abuse the migrants they are transporting into the U.S. Earlier this week, Chief Modlin tweeted a report of a group of 11 migrants found locked inside a tractor-trailer. The migrants had limited air circulation and no means of escape in the event of a crash or abandonment by the smugglers.

Mo Brooks: Wage Suppression is ‘#1 Priority of US Chamber of Commerce’

DALLAS, Texas — U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) says Republicans should have a simple position on illegal immigration: stand up for American workers.

In February, Chamber CEO Thomas Donohue praised President Joe Biden’s rollback of a number of President Donald Trump’s immigration policies:

We commend President Biden for taking action to ensure the reunification of separated families, address irregular migration across the Southern Border, and improve the functionality of our nation’s immigration system by conducting a top-to-bottom review of barriers to our legal immigration system. Policies adopted over the past several years have undermined critical employment-based visa programs and significantly hindered many different companies’ ability to expand their domestic operations and create jobs for Americans. President Biden’s order to coordinate immigration policy through the White House and his effort to ensure that legal immigration is fair and efficient are a clear indication of the priority his administration has placed on fixing our broken immigration system. We look forward to working with the Biden Administration to address these critical issues.

Brooks told Breitbart News new people need to be elected to the White House and Congress to fix the problems at the southern border.

“Our elected officials have made a lot of bad decisions and Americans have suffered as a consequence,” he said.

Brooks said roughly 2,000 Americans die each year at the hands of illegal aliens.

“If we had a secure southern border, that’s 2,000 Americans who would be alive each year,” but are not because of the porous border with Mexico. He said another 30,000 Americans die annually from drug overdoses.

“Where is the sympathy?” for them, he wondered.

“If you’re going to be an elected official for Americans, you would think that the lives of Americans would have some degree of priority,” Brooks said.

So far, it does not appear Brooks’s Democrat colleague would agree.

In June, U.S. Rep. Veronica Escobar (D-TX) stood at the southern border and likened it to the port of entry for Europeans a century ago.

“Welcome to El Paso. Welcome to my community, to the new Ellis Island, to the capital of the border,” Escobar told Vice President Kamala Harris during a brief visit.

On Monday, Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents using infrared cameras observed a group of mostly single adult migrants breaching the border wall and attempting to escape responding agents. The group of 156 were arrested shortly after the entry was observed by camera operators.

The group was observed just west of the San Luis, Arizona, Port of Entry. In all, more than 2,000 migrants were arrested over the July 4 weekend. Normally, Yuma is known as a relatively calm section of the border.

The sector has seen a rise in apprehensions. The groups entering illegally in this area are a troubling sign for Border Patrol in the summer months. Highs in this part of Arizona routinely reach 110 degrees or more. Temperatures this week are forecast to reach 115 degrees.
