An illegal alien, who had already been deported from the United States seven times, was found guilty of “illegal reentry” for the fourth time, according to a press release published on July 20 by the Office of the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Texas.

The individual in question had been arrested by Border Patrol Agents on March 1, 2021 “for being an illegal alien present in the United States.”

The release from the U.S. attorney indicated that this person “had numerous other convictions in the U.S., including three for driving while intoxicated in the Odessa/Midland area; one for resisting arrest; one for assaulting a public servant; and one for possession with intent to distribute marijuana.”

Here is the full text of the U.S. attorney’s release:

Mexican National with Extensive Criminal History Found Guilty by Pecos Jury

"PECOS – Yesterday a federal jury in Pecos found Mexican national Graciano Moral-Carrillo, aka Francisco Mora-Carrillo, guilty of one count of illegal entry after seven prior deportations and three prior illegal reentry convictions. Evidence presented at trial showed that Presidio Border Patrol Agents arrested Moral-Carrillo on March 1, 2021, for being an illegal alien present in the United States.

"Court records also disclosed that Moral-Carrillo had numerous other convictions in the U.S., including three for driving while intoxicated in the Odessa/Midland area; one for resisting arrest; one for assaulting a public servant; and one for possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

"Moral-Carrillo has remained in federal custody since his arrest on March 1.  The sentencing date before U.S. District Judge David Counts has not been set.

"U.S. Attorney Ashley C. Hoff of the Western District of Texas and Big Bend Sector Chief Patrol Agent Sean L. McGoffin made the announcement.

"U.S. Border Patrol investigated this case.  AUSAs Lance Kennedy and Kevin Eaton are prosecuting this case on behalf of the government."

A previously deported Mexican national is in a Tennessee county jail awaiting charges related to the alleged rape of a child. Immigration officers reportedly deported the subject twice following violent crimes including charges for drugs, domestic assault, and molestation of a child.

Gallatin, Tennessee, police arrested 38-year-old Pedro Ambriz on August 4 for the alleged rape of an underage girl. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officers reportedly deported the Mexican national on at least two occasions, according to a report by WKRN.

Local law enforcement officials in Gallatin did not disclose many details about the alleged rape of an underage girl. They did, however, report on his immigration, deportations, and criminal records.

Gallatin Police Lt. Lamar Ballard told the local news outlet that Ambriz has at least five aliases and used at least three different dates of birth to attempt to hide his identity. He added that he considers Ambriz to be a flight risk and they are making keeping him behind bars a top priority.

“Yes, if this individual flees, and we have charges, or we are able to gather more charges, and he is in Mexico that makes it very difficult for us,” Lt. Ballard told reporters. “It’s very difficult, because you don’t know who you are dealing with. It’s hard to track the history of these individuals, who use aliases and different dates of birth.”

Breitbart Texas reached out to the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office and learned that a court set his bond at $225,000. He remains behind bars in the Sumner County jail as of press time.

Ballard said ERO officers appear to have deported Ambriz twice. He added that Ambriz faced charges in 2019 for drugs and domestic assault. He added that Ambriz was deported “after an allegation of molestation of a child.”

He did not disclose if any of those charges resulted in convictions or what sentences were handed down. He told local reporters that Ambriz will be required to serve his full sentence if convicted. “That’s our goal. To make sure he pays for this crime,” he said.

Breitbart Texas reached out to Lt. Ballard for additional information about the alleged child rape. We also reached out to ICE officials for additional information regarding Ambriz’s deportation and immigration history. An immediate response was not available.

(CNS News) -- Republican Gov. Greg Abbott is "surging" the Texas National Guard to secure that state's border with Mexico, authorizing the Guard to arrest people who have "crossed the border illegally and violated Texas law," the governor's office said in a statement.

“The Texas National Guard is playing an unprecedented role to secure the border because of the unprecedented refusal of the federal government to fulfill its obligations under federal law," said Gov. Abbott.

The Texas National Guard is also assisting in building border barriers and a border wall.

"Since Governor Abbott launched Operation Lone Star (OLS) in March 2021, over 4,600 arrests have been made by the Texas Department of Public Safety for charges including criminal mischief and criminal trespass," according to the statement.

"Additionally, OLS has led to the confiscation of drugs and illegal firearms — including over 700 pounds of cocaine, 127 pounds of deadly fentanyl, over 8,500 pounds of cannabis, and over 270 firearms to date," reported the governor's office.

"In July 2021, more than 212,000 people attempted to illegally cross Texas' southern border — the largest number since 2000," concluded the statement.

Renae Eze, a spokesman for Gov. Abbott, said “President Biden’s reckless open border policies not only endanger Texans and their communities — it endangers the lives of migrants making the dangerous journey,”

In his June 25 Border Crisis Disaster Declaration, Gov. Abbott said "the surge of individuals unlawfully crossing the Texas-Mexico border posed an ongoing and imminent threat" in myriad Texas counties and to Texas citizens.
