Top Democrat pollsters and strategists are beginning to realize the Biden administration is failing on nearly every challenge before the nation, including Afghanistan, increasing wages, border security, and coronavirus.

Pollster Paul Maslin told Politico Joe Biden’s presidency has turned into chaos with few if any redeeming features.

“There’s no good news here. This is all on his watch,” said Maslin, who worked Jimmy Carter and Howard Dean. “You can argue what he’s doing or not doing, but it’s almost irrelevant. If things are chaotic and wrong, it ain’t going to help him.”

Another Democrat strategist also told the outlet Biden was supposed to be a return to “normalcy.” Instead, the world is chaotic under Biden.

“When Biden was elected, it was supposed to be, ‘Oh, the adults are back in the room to take charge,’” the strategist said. “It turns out, we can’t do anything. Any Democratic strategist who thinks this is not going to impact the midterms or impact Biden being reelected, clearly they don’t know what the f— they’re talking about.”

A former Biden pollster Celinda Lake described August as “a month of really bad news, and also a month of unpredictable news, and that’s made the public very depressed.”

“It’s been everything,” Lake explained. “It’s fires, it’s hurricanes, it’s Haiti, it’s Afghanistan, it’s Covid, it’s the economy, it’s going back to school. But the thing is, in most cases, people don’t blame Joe Biden for this, and in some of the areas, like Covid, they still think he’s doing a good job.”

Former Harry Reid advisor and Democrat consultant Megan Jones said this presidency “feels like the apocalypse” – whether it is coronavirus, Afghanistan, floods, or fires.

“It feels like the apocalypse sometimes when you wake up and turn on the news,” said Megan Jones, a former Harry Reid adviser and Nevada-based Democratic consultant. “You’ve got Delta raging, you’ve got a fire that’s the size of New York City, and you’ve got floods. It’s all too much for everybody.”

The negative Democrat sentiments align with Biden’s failing poll numbers. In just a few months, Biden’s approval ratings have slid in seven key House districts in which the Democrat Party can only afford to lose three seats in the 2022 midterms.

Biden’s personal approval rating has also collapsed under the weight of the deadly Afghan withdrawal that left 13 U.S. troops dead and hundreds of Americans stranded.

A Friday poll revealed the majority of Americans hold Biden responsible for the U.S. deaths and 170 Afghans. And a Thursday poll showed a plurality of Americans holds Biden responsible for “losing” the war in Afghanistan, not former President Donald Trump.

A forth poll indicates only 24 percent of likely U.S. voters “strongly” approve of Biden’s job performance, down five percent from April.

But Biden’s most damaging slide is on the topic of coronavirus. Breitbart News reported only 52 percent of Americans support Biden’s handling of coronavirus, down from 12 points since April, greatly contributing to Biden historic loss of support.

Biden Requests $6.4B in Taxpayer Money to Resettle 95,000 Afghans Across U.S.

President Joe Biden’s administration is asking Congress to authorize about $6.4 billion in American taxpayer money to bring 95,000 Afghans to the United States for permanent resettlement.

In a call with reporters on Tuesday, administration officials said the White House would request Congress to authorize about $6.4 billion in funding to resettle tens of thousands of Afghans across the U.S.

Pro-mass migration groups had asked Biden to authorize $8 billion in funds for Afghans.

Roughly $1.7 billion of the funding will go toward “funding and resources to the Afghans to help them set up a new home in the U.S.,” NBC News reports. In total, the administration official said they have already brought 65,000 Afghans to the U.S. for permanent resettlement over the last month and expect to bring an additional 30,000 Afghans to the U.S.

The administration’s goal to resettle in the U.S. about 95,000 Afghans is the first glimpse into Biden’s massive resettlement operation — the largest since former President Barack Obama brought more than 12,000 Syrians to the U.S. from 2012 to 2016.

Though Biden has pitched the Afghan resettlement as a commitment to the nation’s allies in the Afghanistan War, the overwhelming majority of Afghans arriving in the U.S. do not qualify for Special Immigrant Visas (SIVs) or even P-2 visas. Those visa programs are reserved only for Afghans and their families who worked directly for the U.S. Armed Forces.

Instead, the majority of Afghans are arriving on “humanitarian parole” and some are coming on refugee status. An estimated 50,000 Afghans will be brought to the U.S. as parolees where they will stay at a number of U.S. military bases and receive one-time $1,250 payments.

Afghans are being extracted from Afghanistan and flown to third safe countries like Germany, Spain, and Qatar before they eventually are flown into Dulles International Airport in Virginia and Philadelphia International Airport in Pennsylvania.

Most Afghans arriving in the U.S. have not completed their immigration processing.

Over the last 20 years, nearly a million refugees have been resettled in the nation — more than double that of residents living in Miami, Florida, and it would be the equivalent of annually adding the population of Pensacola, Florida.

Refugee resettlement costs American taxpayers nearly $9 billion every five years, according to research, and each refugee costs taxpayers about $133,000 over the course of their lifetime. Within five years, an estimated 16 percent of all refugees admitted will need housing assistance paid for by taxpayers.

Poll: Joe Biden’s Approval Rating Collapses to 39 Percent, Lowest of Presidency

President Joe Biden’s approval rating has collapsed to 39 percent, the lowest point of his presidency, according to a Wednesday Economist/YouGov poll.

While only 39 percent percent approve of Biden’s job performance, 49 percent disapprove, a drop of six points in one week.

Overall, Biden’s evaporating approval numbers are primarily due to Democrats, who have begun abandoning him amid the challenges of inflation, Afghanistan, and coronavirus. Nearly nine out of ten Democrats had approved of Biden for almost half of his first year, but Democrats have since dropped support of the president by nine percent in one week (77 percent from 86 percent).

Biden is not just suffering from Democrats’ low approval. Only 39 percent of independents approve of Biden’s performance. Nine percent of Republicans feel the same way.

With respect to specific issues, a greater portion of Americans disapprove of Biden’s handing of coronavirus for the first time. Forty-five percent disapprove and 42 percent approve.

On jobs and the economy, 40 percent approve and 47 percent disapprove. “Only 16% of American adults now think the economy is improving, while nearly three times as many, 44%.”

In addition, a plurality of Americans also think Biden is to blame for the fledging economy that is reeling from inflation. About 45 percent blame Biden and 26 percent blame former President Trump.

Regarding Afghanistan, only 33 percent of Americans approve of Biden management, while 55 percent disapprove, including 25 percent of Democrats.

Biden’s lowest polling of his presidency comes as Democrat pollsters and strategists have begun to vocalize their frustration with Biden administration. A strategist told Politico:

When Biden was elected, it was supposed to be, ‘Oh, the adults are back in the room to take charge. It turns out, we can’t do anything. Any Democratic strategist who thinks this is not going to impact the midterms or impact Biden being reelected, clearly they don’t know what the f— they’re talking about.

Former Harry Reid adviser and Democrat consultant Megan Jones said Biden’s presidency feels like an “apocalypse sometimes.”

“It feels like the apocalypse sometimes when you wake up and turn on the news,” said Jones. “You’ve got Delta raging, you’ve got a fire that’s the size of New York City, and you’ve got floods. It’s all too much for everybody.”

The poll was conducted between September 4 – 7 with 1,500 respondents. The margin of error is approximately 2.8 percent.
