JOE BIDEN' WIDE OPEN BORDERS - 16 Migrants Held by Smugglers for Month in Texas Motel Room near Border

“The Democrats had abandoned their working-class base to chase what they pretended was a racial group when what they were actually chasing was the momentum of unlimited migration”.      DANIEL GREENFIELD

Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents found a group of migrants stashed in a motel room near the Texas-Mexico border. Human smugglers held the 16 migrants in the tiny room for nearly 30 days, officials reported.

McAllen Station Border Patrol agents received a tip on September 17 about a motel in Edinburg being used as a smuggling stash house. Agents responded to the location and observed two people entering the motel room carrying several jugs of water and groceries, according to Rio Grande Valley Sector officials.

Agents contacted the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office to conduct a welfare check. The deputies and agents found the small motel room packed with 16 migrants, officials stated.

Agents conducted interviews and identified 10 Honduran citizens, five Salvadoran nationals, and one from Mexico. The migrants told the agents they had been held by the human smugglers in the room for nearly 30 days.

The following day, McAllen Station agents found several migrants emerging from a storm drain in Hidalgo, Texas. The agents apprehended three migrants and set up surveillance on the area. An hour later, three more migrants came out of the storm drain including one unaccompanied child.

Several hours later, agents observe several other migrants emerged from the drain. Agents apprehended four more migrants from Mexico and Honduras.

Officials report that all of these migrants will be processed under CBP guidelines.

CDC: Afghans Arriving in U.S. Infected with Measles, Malaria, Tuberculosis

President Joe Biden’s administration is bringing Afghans to the United States who are carrying viruses such as measles, malaria, tuberculosis, as well as the Chinese coronavirus, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

On Monday, the CDC announced that the thousands of Afghans continuing to be brought to the U.S. by the Biden administration for permanent resettlement will be required to be vaccinated against measles though there has not been any indication that they are likewise mandated to take the coronavirus vaccine.

CDC officials wrote in a release:

As of September 20, 2021, CDC has been notified by public health departments of 16 measles cases among the evacuees. All patients confirmed to have measles have been isolated and provided care, and their contacts have been quarantined. Contacts who were not immune were given the MMR vaccine or, if not vaccine-eligible, immunoglobulin. [Emphasis added]

Evacuees who are in the United States are required to be vaccinated with MMR and complete a 21-day quarantine from the time of vaccination at U.S. ‘Safe Haven’ designated locations, such as military bases. [Emphasis added]

The move comes as there have been measles outbreaks at a number of U.S. military bases where the Biden administration is temporarily housing tens of thousands of Afghans. The military bases where Afghans are staying include:

  • Marine Corps Base in Quantico, Virginia
  • Fort Pickett in Virginia
  • Fort Lee in Virginia
  • Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico
  • Fort McCoy in Wisconsin
  • Fort Bliss in Texas
  • Fort Dix in New Jersey
  • Camp Atterbury in Indiana

In addition to measles, CDC officials revealed that some Afghans brought to the U.S. have spurred outbreaks of viruses such as varicella, mumps, tuberculosis, malaria, leishmaniasis, hepatitis A, and coronavirus.

Thousands of Afghans who remain at overseas military bases will be required to take a measles vaccine and wait 21 days before being brought to the U.S. by the Biden administration.

As Breitbart News has chronicled, the Biden administration is planning to permanently resettle Afghans in 46 states across the nation — including Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

Biden has said he hopes to resettle about 95,000 Afghans across the U.S. over the next 12 months. In a 21-day period from August to September, Biden brought more than 48,000 Afghans to the U.S. for resettlement — a population more than four times that of Jackson, Wyoming.

The resettlement operation is being bankrolled by not only American taxpayer money funneled through a number of refugee contractors but also multinational corporations and a non-governmental organizations (NGO) backed by former Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama.

Joe Biden Plans Bringing 10 Times as Many Refugees to U.S. Next Year

President Joe Biden is planning to bring to the United States in Fiscal Year 2022 about 10 times as many refugees as he will have brought this year, the State Department confirmed on Monday.

In May, Biden announced he would raise the refugee resettlement cap to 62,500 refugees for Fiscal Year 2021 — more than four times the cap that former President Trump imposed for the year at about 15,000 refugees.

For Fiscal Year 2022, which begins October 1, Biden will set the cap at 125,000 refugees who can be resettled across the U.S. over the subsequent 12 months, a State Department notice to Congress confirmed. The data projects that the Biden administration will have brought about 12,500 refugees to the U.S. by the end of Fiscal Year 2021.

The cap is merely a numerical limit and not a goal for the State Department to reach.

Specifically, the State Department will allocate the most refugee spots for Africans and foreign nationals from East and South Asia. About 10,000 spots will go to Europeans and foreign nationals in Central Asia, while 15,000 spots will be allocated to Latin Americans and those in the Caribbean.

In addition to increasing refugee resettlement, Biden rescinded an order that allowed states and localities to decide whether they wanted refugee resettlement in their communities. The order, signed by Trump, gave Americans veto power over the program that they, for decades, have been shut out of.

Over the last 20 years, nearly one million refugees have been resettled in the country. This is a number more than double that of residents living in Miami, Florida, and would be the equivalent of annually adding the population of Pensacola, Florida, to the country.

Refugee resettlement costs American taxpayers nearly $9 billion every five years, according to research, and each refugee costs taxpayers about $133,000 over the course of their lifetime. Within five years, an estimated 16 percent of all refugees admitted will need housing assistance paid for by taxpayers.
