Remember The San Bernardino Fourteen
Key collaborator with terrorists Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik gets only probation.
On December 2, 2015, Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik drove up to the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California, and began firing automatic rifles while still outside on the grounds. The American-born Muslim Farook and the Pakistani-born Malik, then barged inside where a holiday party was in progress.
There Farook and Malik gunned down Robert Adams, Isaac Amianos, Bennetta Betbadal, Harry Bowman, Sierra Clayborn, Juan Espinoza, Aurora Godoy, Shannon Johnson, Larry Daniel Kaufman, Damien Meins, Tin Ngyen, Nicholas Thalasinos, Yvette Velasco, and Michael Wetzel. The pair then fled in a black SUV and fired more than 100 rounds at police, wounding one officer.
Police took down the terrorists and inside their SUV found a trigger device to detonate bombs the Muslims had planted at the Regional Center. Had the bombs exploded, many others would have perished.
“We must seek justice for those who lost their lives in the recent attacks in Paris and San Bernardino,” said California attorney general Kamala Harris in a December 17 statement. Like the composite character David Garrow described in Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama, Harris failed to name any of the fourteen murder victims. On the other hand, the attorney general did make her priorities evident.
“Ultimately,” Harris said, “not only is it immoral and contrary to our values to stoke fear and cast aspersions against an entire faith and the millions of law-abiding American Muslims, but it is also strategically unwise. This very community is a critical ally in the short and long term fight combatting terrorism and radicalization here at home and across the world.”
Harris was joined by officials from the Muslim Public Affairs Council and CAIR, whose Los Angeles director Hussam Ayloush said “Islamophobic and xenophobic rhetoric by certain public figures has made Muslim communities an easy target for hate crimes.” Attorney general Harris, Ayloush added, “exemplified leadership” by addressing “the spike in hate crimes against American Muslims and other minorities.”
In a statement one year later, Harris recalled “those who lost their lives and the loved ones they left behind,” but named not a single victim or any of the “brave first responders.” Those were the San Bernardino police, but the word “police” does not appear. In similar style, Farook and Malik were not named, and Harris does not mention their possible motive for “the tragedy that took place.” Like the president, Harris hailed the Muslim community as an ally against terrorism. In this case, it wasn’t.
Muslim convert Enrique Marquez procured weapons for Farook and Malik, and in February of 2017, Marquez pleaded guilty to federal terrorism charges. In October of 2020, Marquez was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Rafia Farook, mother of Syed, claimed she knew nothing of his deadly plans, but she shredded a map her son had made for the attack. As the U.S. Attorney announced on March 3, 2020, Rafia Farook, agreed to plead guilty to one count of “alteration, destruction, and mutilation of records.”
Last February, Obama judge Jesus Bernal rejected an 18-month prison term and sentenced Rafia Farook to only three years probation. Her daughter-in-law, Tatiana Farook, got three years probation for an immigration scam involving her younger sister. Tatiana Farook’s sister, Mariya Chernykh, pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy, perjury and making false statements to federal officials. Last May, Bernal sentenced Chernykh to only three years probation.
Vice president Joe Biden issued no official statement on the San Bernardino terrorist attack, but on others he did speak out. In 2009 at Fort Hood, Texas, jihadist Nidal Hasan murdered 13 American soldiers, including three women, Lt. Col Juanita Warman, Sgt. Amy Sue Krueger, and Pvt. Francheska Velez, who was pregnant. According to Biden the American soldiers only “fell” in a “senseless tragedy,” and the Delaware Democrat failed to name a single victim.
The American soldiers Hasan murdered were shipping out to Afghanistan. Joe Biden withdrew from that nation in disastrous fashion, leaving the Taliban billions in armaments, yet described the operation as an “extraordinary success.” While stranding Americans behind, the Biden Junta brought to the United States more than 80,000 Afghans.
The Biden Junta assured Americans the arrivals would all be carefully vetted but as Robert Spencer explains, “almost none of the 82,000 Afghans who are now in the United States after being airlifted out of Kabul in August were vetted first. Biden officials simply accepted the claims at face value, “without making any effort at all to check whether or not the evacuees’ claims were true.”
The evacuees could include jihad terrorists and other criminals but Americans won’t know for sure until they actually commit crimes or acts of terrorism. The same goes for the unvetted masses now streaming across the border and being shipped across the country.
In the meantime, with the holiday season at hand, remember the 14 innocents murdered by Islamic terrorists Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik on December 2, 2015, in San Bernardino, California, USA.
Debating Islam While Muslims Show Us What It Is All About
Ivory tower mind games versus reality.
By the time you read this, the world may have been convinced by Javad T. Hashmi, a Ph.D. candidate at Harvard University, that Islam is a religion of peace, and that Christianity is the real violent religion. Tomorrow, Hashmi and I are scheduled to debate the question “Religion of Peace? Is Islam More Violent Than Christianity?” You can watch here at 1PM Eastern tomorrow to see whether or not Hashmi succeeds in demonstrating that, as that sage imam Pope Francis memorably put it a few years ago, “authentic Islam and the proper reading of the Koran are opposed to every form of violence.” Meanwhile, however, Muslims around the world are weighing in on this question themselves.
In Pakistan on Friday, a Sri Lankan man was tortured and burned alive for blasphemy after he was accused of throwing Qur’an verses into a dustbin. The crowd chanted “Gustakh-e-nabi ki ek hi saza, sar tan se juda sar tan se juda,” which means: “The only punishment for one who insults the prophet, the head separated from the body, the head separated from the body.” There has been no record of Christians burning anyone alive for blasphemy recently. While Hashmi or others of his mindset may argue that this did happen in the past, there is a reason why we don’t see Christian mobs baying for blood and murdering accused blasphemers today: there is actually no earthly penalty for blasphemy taught in the Christian scriptures or by any of the leading Christian authorities.
Islam, in contrast, mandates death for blasphemy. Death is prescribed for those who mention “something impermissible about Allah, the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), or Islam” (‘Umdat al-Salik, o11.10), and such laws are based upon passages in the Hadith and Sira in which Muhammad orders the murders of people who have insulted him.
These included Abu Afak, who was over one hundred years old, and the poetess Asma bint Marwan. Abu Afak was killed in his sleep, in response to Muhammad’s question, “Who will avenge me on this scoundrel?” Similarly, Muhammad on another occasion cried out, “Will no one rid me of this daughter of Marwan?” One of his followers, Umayr ibn Adi, went to her house that night, where he found her sleeping next to her children. The youngest, a nursing babe, was in her arms. But that didn’t stop Umayr from murdering her and the baby as well. Muhammad commended him: “You have done a great service to Allah and His Messenger, Umayr!” (Ibn Ishaq, 674-676)
Then there was Ka’b bin Al-Ashraf. Muhammad asked: “Who is willing to kill Ka’b bin Al-Ashraf who has hurt Allah and His Apostle?” One of the Muslims, Muhammad bin Maslama answered, “O Allah’s Apostle! Would you like that I kill him?” When Muhammad said that he would, Muhammad bin Maslama said, “Then allow me to say a (false) thing (i.e. to deceive Kab).” Muhammad responded: “You may say it.” Muhammad bin Maslama duly lied to Ka’b, luring him into his trap, and murdered him. (Sahih Bukhari, volume 5, book 59, number 369)
There is no record of Jesus issuing similar commands about those who insulted him.
In other news, five Muslims in Australia stabbed a woman for the crime of dating a Christian man. The attackers were members of the victim’s own family, enraged because Islamic law forbids Muslim women to marry non-Muslim men. The Qur’an allows Muslim men to marry “chaste women from among the believers and chaste women from among those who were given the Scripture before you” (5:5), that is, “the people of the book,” who are primarily Jews and Christians. A Muslim woman, however, may not marry a Christian man. The reason for this is supremacist: the Muslim community must always grow at the expense of the non-Muslim community. This woman violated this rule; in the eyes of her family, she had to be punished. The Qur’an directs that a woman who is feared to be disobedient can be beaten (4:34).
There could be stories somewhere of Christians who attacked members of their own family for dating someone they didn’t like. However, this violence is not backed, as it is in Islam, by what is considered to be divine law.
Meanwhile, over in London, Muslims screaming “Free Palestine” spit at Hanukkah party bus, pounded on the windows, and threatened passengers. Some will maintain that they’re just enraged by Israel’s perceived injustices in “Palestine,” and that if Israel makes certain concessions, peace will reign. However, as an Egyptian imam, Muhammad Hussein Ya’qoub, made clear in 2009, Muslim hatred of Jews had nothing to do with Israel and everything to do with the Qur’an: “If the Jews left Palestine to us, would we start loving them? Of course not. We will never love them. Absolutely not. The Jews are infidels—not because I say so, and not because they are killing Muslims, but because Allah said: “The Jews say that Uzair is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that Christ is the son of Allah. These are the words from their mouths. They imitate the sayings of the disbelievers before. May Allah fight them. How deluded they are.” [Qur’an 9:30] It is Allah who said that they are infidels….You must believe that we will fight, defeat, and annihilate them, until not a single Jew remains on the face of the Earth.”
Nonetheless, it may be that Dr. Hashmi will succeed tomorrow in stymieing my attempts to explain all this, and will establish once and for all that Islam is peaceful. That would be wonderful, really, if he can succeed in convincing the angry young men in ISIS, al-Qaeda, Boko Haram, al-Shabaab, and all the rest. But unless and until he does, his efforts are essentially an intellectual game, a demonstration of how a Harvard intellect can make you believe all manner of things that go against the evidence of your lying eyes. I may not prevail in the debate tomorrow, but whether I do or do not, the reality is unfortunately all too clear.

WHAT IF DEMOCRATS DID 10% FOR MIDDLE AMERICA AS THEY DO FOR ILLEGALS???
Jim Banks: Democrats Want $13B to Resettle Afghans Across U.S. After Spiking Border Wall Funding
Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) says Democrats want more than $13 billion to resettle an endless flow of Afghans across the United States, even as they previously spiked far less in funding to construct a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.
On Thursday evening, every House Democrat and Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) voted in support of a government funding bill that includes more than $7 billion to resettle tens of thousands, and potentially hundreds of thousands, of Afghans across the U.S. as part of President Joe Biden’s resettlement operation.
Those funds are in addition to the $6.4 billion to resettle Afghans that 34 House Republicans and 15 Senate Republicans approved in September. The total amount, if the Senate passes the funding bill, will reach more than $13.3 billion — indicating that Congress will spend $140,000 per Afghan brought to the U.S.
Banks, who led Republican opposition in the House to the funding bill, noted in a statement that the Afghan resettlement funding is far more than the billions in border wall funding that were previously spiked by House and Senate Democrats, as well as some Republicans.
“So now it looks like we’re going to spend $13.3 billion on resettling Afghan refugees,” Banks wrote. “But remember, Congress wouldn’t even approve $8.6 billion for Trump’s border wall. It’s infuriating to watch our leaders continue to put America last.”
In 2018 and 2019, House and Senate Democrats repeatedly shot down spending bills that would have fully funded border wall construction along the U.S.-Mexico border to stem illegal immigration. In some cases, then-President Trump signed bills despite not securing additional wall funding.
Behind the scenes, the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) circulated a statement on Capitol Hill to Republican lawmakers noting their opposition to “importing random, unscreened, unvetted Afghans.”
“The [continuing resolution] slated for consideration today reaffirms the misguided immigration priorities of Congressional Democrats,” the statement reads.
“Not only is this rider costly and inappropriate, the language is so broad that even non-Afghans ‘at risk as a result of the situation in Afghanistan’ qualify for relief. This will allow the Biden administration to resettle scores of additional individuals with few – if any – ties to the U.S. military or our mission in Afghanistan,” the statement continues. “How is this in the best interest of the American people?”
