REPUBLICANS SEE WHAT DEMOCRATS HAVE DONE TO MEXIFORNIA - One-Quarter of GOP Supporters Demand Priority Focus on Immigration

NAFTA JOE BIDEN = DRUG DEALER

Jesse Watters: Why is Biden betraying us?

The door is open at the border

The Biden administration's open border policy is alive and well.   The numbers are amazing for people who have followed this over the years.   I have never seen anything like this.   This is from the New York Post:

Biden breaks records every month, with apprehensions on track to reach a million in his first full year. You can see why they keep coming: The Border Patrol estimates that hundreds of thousands more pass through without interception, while the administration releases most of those it does catch, even quietly resettling migrants all across the country.

The only White House strategy here, in other words, is to try keeping the crisis out of the headlines while sending as few illegal crossers as possible home.

This is obscene and it has nothing to do with immigration reform, DACA or asylum.   We have legal ways to come to the U.S. and this is not how you legally cross the border.   How do I know?  I came to the U.S. with my parents and we had to follow a process.  Our family left Cuba and then had to wait, at our expense, in Jamaica as our "papers" were being processed.

The Biden administration has benefited from national media coverage that does not tell Americans what's going on or keeps track of these people as they fly to their destination.  Down in South Texas, the Biden administration has not been so lucky, as we see in the growing dissatisfaction with the border crisis.

To make matters worse, these people are coming into the country without vaccine requirements or isolation periods.  How many of these people have COVID and have infected others?  No one knows.

Will President Biden be impeached over this?  I don't know, but his administration is not enforcing the law to the loss of his fellow citizens.

P.S.  You can listen to my show (Canto Talk).

Joe Biden to Import 20K More Foreign Workers for Blue-Collar American Jobs

President Joe Biden is allowing businesses to import an additional 20,000 foreign workers on the H-2B visas program to take blue-collar jobs in the United States even as 12 million Americans remain jobless and millions more are underemployed.

On Thursday, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said 13,500 of the H-2B visas will be for foreign nationals who previously secured the visas. The other 6,500 visas will go to foreign nationals in Haiti, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras.

“We are providing employers with the resources and support needed to sustain their businesses while expanding lawful pathways to the United States,” Mayorkas said in a statement.

Currently, 12 million Americans are jobless and nearly four million are underemployed but all want full-time jobs with good wages and competitive benefits.

Matthew Tragesser with the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) blasted the announcement, saying that Biden “continues to do the opposite” of “protecting the American worker” with his inflation of the U.S. labor market for the benefit of businesses:

The administration continues to place the interests of foreign nationals over blue and white collar American workers at a time when wages remain stagnant. The media and policymakers need to stop saying ‘labor shortage’ and instead try ‘adequate wage shortage,’ a phenomenon that more cheap foreign labor will keep in place. [Emphasis added]

Every year, businesses are allowed to import 66,000 H-2B foreign visa workers to take blue-collar, non-agricultural jobs in the U.S. Former President Donald Trump’s administration routinely brought in additional H-2B foreign visa workers for business to hire, and President Joe Biden is doing the same.

Less than a month ago, Mayorkas announced that he would allow businesses to import 20,000 more H-2B foreign visa workers.

The H-2B visa program has been widely used by businesses to drag down the wages of American workers in landscaping, conservation work, the meatpacking industry, the construction industry, and fishing jobs, a 2019 study by the Center for Immigration Studies finds.

When comparing the wages of H-2B foreign workers to the national wage average for each blue-collar industry, about 21 out of 25 of the industries offered lower wages to foreign workers than Americans.

Annually, the U.S. gives green cards to about 1.2 million legal immigrants, while another 1.4 million foreign workers are admitted every year to take American jobs.

ngraham: Unvaxxed Illegals Can Go Anywhere ‘on the Taxpayer’s Dime,’ 'But Unvaxxed Truckers Can’t Cross the Border'?

"Presumably, many unvaxxed illegals can just get free rides to wherever they please, but unvaxxed truckers can’t cross the border," Fox News host Laura Ingraham said Tuesday.

Ingraham interviewed Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) on the Biden Administration's handling of mass migration of unvaccinated illegal immigrants.

"When someone crosses our border illegally, their final destination should always be turning them around and sending them back to their home country," Sen. Cotton said. "They shouldn’t be putting them on a bus or an airplane at taxpayer expense to go wherever they want in the United States."

Ingraham cited December 2021 Department of Homeland Security data showing that the number of illegal migrants sent back to their home country is “very, very low.”

“So doesn’t this mean that they’re defying what the court said about ‘Remain in Mexico’ and they’re actually not doing that?” Ingraham asked Cotton.

Sen. Cotton responded by saying that the illegal immigrant adult men who are crossing the border are not running from anything, rather they are here because they are seeking American jobs.

“That’s in direct violation of the court’s order.”

Below is a transcript of this portion of “The Ingraham Angle”:

Laura Ingraham: "After a three-week delay, Border Patrol just announced that its officers arrested nearly 179,000 illegals in December. Now that’s up 142 percent since last December 2020, which of course is back when we had some sane immigration policies under Trump and instead of sending them all back to Mexico, the Biden Administration has taken a very different approach, as Fox’s own Bill Melugin witnessed in Brownsville, Tex. earlier today."

[Start clip]

Bill Melugin: "These are all single adult men. They were just dropped off on an ICE bus here, as you can see, dozens of them. They’re just leaving this NGO directly across the street here. You can see these manila folders they’re holding. These are the travel documents they received from the NGO. There are no families. There are no children in this group. Some of them, you can see, have ankle monitors on; that is what’s known as ‘ATD: Alternatives to Detention.’"

[End clip]

Ingraham: "So where are all of these illegals going? The real question might be, where they aren’t going."

[Start clip]

Reporter: "Where are you going?"

Male Speaker: "Miami."

Reporter: "Oh, Miami?"

Male Speaker 2: "Houston…Atlanta."

[End clip]

Ingraham: "It’s wherever they want to go, that’s the answer. So, presumably, many unvaxxed illegals can just get free rides to wherever they please, but unvaxxed truckers can’t cross the border? Now of course, logic, consistency, they've never been a strong suit in the Biden Administration and they don’t really care, as Jen Psaki made clear earlier today."

[Start clip]

Jen Psaki: "Migrants who cannot be expelled under Title 42 are placed into immigration proceedings and one of those avenues could be placement in an alternative to detention program in the interior of the United States."

Peter Doocy: "Just between March and August, which is a very small sample size, DHS says more than 47,000 of these migrants that were given notices to report did not show up, so why let them into the U.S. unsupervised in the first place?"

Psaki: "Well again, we have stringent protocols and processes that we implement here."

[End clip]

Ingraham: "Here now is Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton to react to all of this. Senator, I think of what we’ve done to our children over the past two years, what we still do to our children. We are separating them if they're not masked or maybe even vaxxed down the road, in their separate areas. But people can just walk across our border, unvaxxed, and then get shipped basically wherever they want on the taxpayers dime, to just obviously take a job for less wages than, you know, traditional Americans would get. How do we stop this?"

Cotton: "Yeah, Laura, it’s criminally negligent. You have Democrats across the country who are still trying to shut down schools, who are insisting that kindergarteners wear masks, sending them home if they don’t. Meanwhile, your tax dollars are supporting single, grown men crossing this border and being shipped wherever they want to go, as we just saw in that video. That’s a far cry from what the federal courts have ordered the Biden Administration to do, which is to reimplement President Trump’s ‘Remain in Mexico’ policy.

"I was shocked by the Biden Administration’s response to it. They said that they sometimes help with the orderly processing to return, or to get these migrants to their final destination. Well, Laura, when someone crosses our border illegally, their final destination should always be turning them around and sending them back to their home country. They shouldn’t be putting them on a bus or an airplane at taxpayer expense to go wherever they want in the United States."

Cotton: "I don’t see how you could reach any other conclusion, Laura. When you see that video of single, grown men -- these are not little kids that were sent here with human traffickers, these are not pregnant women, these are not frail, older people. These are single, adult men who are plainly coming here, not because of violence in their home country, to escape persecution, but because they want to get a better job, a job that an American citizen could be doing. That’s in direct violation of the court’s order -- one of the reasons we know this is the Biden Administration had to respond and provide this information to the court. I hope the court holds them accountable. I hope they hold Secretary of DHS [Alejandro] Mayorkas accountable for this."

Poll: One-Quarter of GOP Supporters Demand Priority Focus on Immigration

Almost one-quarter of Republican supporters say they want GOP candidates to focus on “securing the border,” according to a YouGov poll of 1,568 U.S. adults conducted from Jan. 20-24.

In contrast, just 5 percent picked “cutting taxes” as a priority issue, according to the poll conducted for Yahoo! News. The response is just one-fifth of the 23 percent demand for a focus on pro-American immigration reform.

The 5 percent who picked “cutting taxes” were fewer than the 10 percent support who for stressed ending coronavirus curbs, the 8 percent  who picked “fighting crime,” and the 17 percent who picked “stopping Democrats from rigging and stealing elections.”

So far, however, GOP leaders in the House and Senate have said little about what they will do about immigration policy in exchange for votes from the public.

But some GOP leaders are trying to offer an agenda that could be adopted amid predictable opposition from their donors in 2023. “We need to — for the first time in a long time — put America first, and that means putting Americans first,” Rep. Kat Cammack (R-Fl) told Breitbart News.

But Cammack is part of a business-based party whose leaders — including Rep. Kevin McCarthy and retiring Rep. John Katko — are reluctant to talk about the devastating pocketbook impact of corporate migration on Americans in every state.

The Yahoo! poll, however, sought to spotlight GOP dissatisfaction with the 2020 election. For example, the Yahoo! news report said:

if the GOP wins control of Congress in November, 56 percent of Republicans say they want the party to launch yet another investigation of the 2020 presidential election — twice the number (28 percent) who say the opposite.

The Yahoo! article did not mention the hidden corporate influence over the administration of the election in Democrat-dominated districts.

The survey also asked about support for Trump and prior GOP presidents. According to Yahoo! News:

Trump remains the GOP’s most powerful and influential figure. Looking ahead, 56 percent of Republicans and Republican leaners say Trump’s endorsement is more important than that of “other Republican leaders” (23 percent) when they are deciding how to vote.

Half (50 percent) say Trump was “the best Republican president” — far better than George H.W. Bush (4 percent) and his son George W. Bush (9 percent), and significantly better even than conservative icon Ronald Reagan (37 percent). Eighty-two percent rate Trump favorably, and 83 percent say they would vote for him in a rematch with Biden.

The Yahoo! report also found divisions within the GOP about a possible Trump run in 2024:

There are signs that at least some Republicans are open to alternatives to Trump. More than a quarter (27 percent) say he should not run again.

Sixteen percent say they would consider voting for centrist West Virginia Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin if he were to run for president as an independent, more than the number of Democrats (10 percent) or independents (15 percent) who say the same.

And 21 percent already say they would vote for DeSantis over Trump in the GOP primary; other potential candidates — including former Vice President Mike Pence (6 percent), former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley (6 percent) and Fox News host Tucker Carlson (2 percent) — combine for another 19 percent of the vote, and 12 percent say they’re not sure.

A wide variety of little-publicized polls show deep and broad opposition to labor migration into the jobs sought by Americans.

The opposition is growinganti-establishmentmultiracialcross-sexnon-racistclass-basedbipartisanrationalpersistent, and recognizes the solidarity that Americans owe to each other.

Voters for the two parties are becoming more divided on whether to trust or distrust the science establishment, according to a new survey by the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research.

But the AP report comes as academics admit that the United States is being politically divided by the “demographic shift” caused by the immigration of global migrants into an otherwise stable society.

The AP’s January 26 announcement said:

Forty-eight percent of Americans overall have a great deal of confidence in the scientific community. But there is now a 30-point gap in confidence between Democrats and Republicans, up from a 9-point gap in 2018. In 2021, 64% of Democrats have a great deal of confidence in the scientific community, whereas only 34% of Republicans say the same.

In 2006, Republicans had more trust in science than Democrats, according to the AP/NORC chart:

A January 18 report by Carnegie Endowment for International Peace said the United States is a “perniciously polarized” democracy. “There are no peer analogues for the United States’ current political divisions,” the report said as it admitted the polarization is spurred by rising identity politics amid accelerating immigration and diversity:

[There are] a number of features that make the United States both especially susceptible to polarization and especially impervious to efforts to reduce it. One such feature is the durability of identity politics in a racially and ethnically diverse democracy …  the United States is perhaps alone in experiencing a demographic shift that poses a threat to the white population that has historically been the dominant group in all arenas of power, allowing political leaders to exploit insecurities surrounding this loss of status.

The deepening political split was spotlighted by Thomas Edsall, a liberal columnist at the New York Times.

But Edsall, like many other establishment commentators, is unable to mention immigration and the imposed diversity as the cause, and he instead tried to blame the polarization on downstream factors caused by immigration. For example, Edsall suggested that the polarization can be overcome by papering over the expanding civic and economic diversity with taxpayer subsidies:

Two related studies — “Inequality, Identity and Partisanship: How Redistribution Can Stem the Tide of Mass Polarization” by Alexander J. StewartJoshua B. Plotkin and McCarty and “Polarization Under Rising Inequality and Economic Decline” by Stewart, McCarty and Joanna Bryson — argue that aggressive redistribution policies designed to lessen inequality must be initiated before polarization becomes further entrenched. The fear is that polarization now runs so deep in the United States that we can’t do the things that would help us be less polarized.

But Edsall admits that the money will not work if the underlying polarization has gone too far: “A deeply polarized electorate is highly unlikely to support redistribution that would benefit their adversaries as well as themselves.”

That inability to recognize the importance of migration leaves Edsall with a pessimistic conclusion: “The electorate as a whole is moving farther and farther apart into two mutually loathing camps … Looking over the contemporary political landscape, there appear to be no major or effective movements to counter polarization.”

This dour claim ignores the polarizing diversity that is deliberately caused by the government’s pro-elite economic policy of extraction migration — and the plentiful evidence that civic solidarity and overall prosperity will return once the migration is reduced.

The evidence can be found in many polls which show that Americans want immigration policy to help Americans — not corporations, investors, foreigners, and special interest groups.

The polls show deep and broad opposition to labor migration into the jobs sought by American workers. The opposition is growinganti-establishmentmultiracialcross-sexnon-racistclass-basedbipartisanrationalpersistent, and recognizes the solidarity that Americans owe to each other.

Edsall, however, has the decency to admit that the current polarization is also driven by contempt among the elite for ordinary Americans: He quotes one researcher who declared that “People high in cognitive ability are prejudiced against more conservative and conventional groups … [and] people low in cognitive ability are prejudiced against more liberal and unconventional groups.”

Many progressives are hostile to ordinary Americans and wish to degrade their political status, civic authority, and economic clout. For example, Sherrilyn Ifill, the president of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, suggested January 27 that ordinary Americans are so robot-like that they can be persuaded to participate in another genocide against Jews:

Similarly, the New York Times now insists that Americans are wrong to believe that society should shape civic rules around the reality that men and women, girls and boys, are biologically complementary. Instead, the newspaper insists that Americans must believe that sexual identity is determined by “gender identity,” not biology.

Many progressives dismiss popular and mainstream support for curbs on migration as similar to unforgivable racism. Curbing immigration “is just a white nationalist argument that America should be for white people, and everybody else is somehow subpar and doesn’t belong,” said Heidi Beirich, who named her activist group, The Global Project Against Hate and Extremism. “They’re absolutely both bald-faced racist and eugenicist,” responded Hassan Ahmad, an immigration lawyer during their December conversation.

The “woke” progressives growing hostility was described by a report from the Pew Research Center in November 2021:

A large majority of Progressive Left (86%) say that people who have immigrated to the United States illegally generally make the communities they live in better. They also are more supportive than other political typology groups of increasing the number of legal immigrants coming to the U.S. Progressive Left also are particularly likely to say that greater social acceptance of people who are transgender is a good thing for the U.S. – 88% say this, including 75% who say this has been very good for the country.

NPR reported in 2019:

Beginning around 2012, polls show an increasing number of white liberals began adopting more progressive positions on a range of cultural issues. These days, white Democrats (and, in particular, white liberals) are more likely than in decades past to support more liberal immigration policies, embrace racial diversity and uphold affirmative action.

Zach Goldberg, a researcher at the Center for the Study of Partisanship and Ideology, uses broad national surveys to show progressives’ growing hatred of conservatives and their ideas. The results are displayed on his Twitter account. For example:

In 2019, Goldberg described the progressives’ cultural war to seize power over Americans: “The woke elite act like white saviors who must lead the rest of the country, including the racial minorities whose interests they claim to represent, to a vision of justice the less enlightened groups would not choose for themselves.”
