Black Lives Matter (BLM) co-founder Patrisse Cullors liked to splash the charity’s funds around, according to tax documents filed with the IRS, with her brother and child’s father both benefiting from handsome cash payments in return for various services.
The tax documents as seen by numerous media outlets reveal BLM paid a company owned by Damon Turner, the father of Cullors’ child, nearly $970,000 to help “produce live events” and provide other “creative services.”
According to the Daily Mail, the co-founder’s brother, Paul Cullors, saw more than $840,000 of donated funds pass into his hands for providing security services to the foundation.
Although the May 11 filing, first reported by the Washington Examiner, does not reveal the exact amount Paul Cullors takes home yearly, it does state he is one of the two highest-compensated employees.
All told the foundation is still worth tens of millions of dollars, after spending more than $37 million on grants, real estate, consultants, and other expenses, according to the tax documents.

BLM ended its last fiscal year – from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 – at nearly $42 million to the good in net assets. The foundation had an operating budget of about $4 million, according to a board member.
Cullors resigned from BLM last year amid a wave of scrutiny surrounding the charity’s finances, as Breitbart News reported.
Real estate website Dirt.com reported the “37-year-old social justice visionary” Cullors (also known by her married, hyphenated surname, Khan-Cullors) had bought a $1.4 million compound in the Los Angeles enclave of Topanga.
The New York Post reported the Topanga home was one of four Cullors owned, which included a Georgia ranch with an airplane hangar. (Cullors, like many other prominent Black Lives Matter leaders, is a “trained Marxist.”)
The revelations prompted more protest from activists, and spurred calls for an independent investigation of the movement’s finances. Cullors said she bought the homes to support family.

She has repeatedly denied claims she took donations from BLM for personal matters and has reiterated all the purchases and transactions – including a lavish $6million home in Los Angeles, dubbed Studio City – were legitimate.
The new filing show Cullors reimbursed BLM $73,523 for a charter flight for foundation-related travel, which the organization says she took in 2021 out of concern for COVID-19 and security threats.

The recently revealed purchase of multi-million-dollar properties by Black Lives Matter leaders, using unaccounted-for tax-exempt funds, tells us what we already should have known: Black Lives Matter is a gang of street criminals who think nothing of stealing money donated to help “marginalized and under-served” communities, and pocketing it for themselves.
Because Black Lives Matter is a criminal organization responsible for violent mob actions in over 200 American cities in 2020, including the burning federal buildings and police stations, causing several billion dollars in property damage and sparking a national crime wave that resulted in 4,901 more homicides in 2020 than in the previous year, it is not surprising that they are no respecters of the causes they advocate, let alone the laws and regulations governing tax-exempt organizations. Yet throughout the mayhem and criminal violence orchestrated by Black Lives Matter, the I.R.S and its commissioner Charles Rettig watched from afar and did nothing to prevent taxpayer monies from being used to bail out those Black Lives Matter thugs who had been arrested for breaking the law, and returning them to the streets to commit still more crimes.
From 2016 to December 2020, BLM was a fiscally sponsored project of Thousand Currents, a left-wing, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt foundation. A “fiscal sponsor” allows an organization that does not have its own IRS tax-exempt status to collect tax-deductible donations under its umbrella. The Vice Chairman of Thousand Currents - Susan Rosenberg - is a convicted terrorist who had been arrested with 740 pounds of dynamite, an arsenal of automatic weapons and plans to blow up government buildings. Rosenberg was a member of the May 19 Communist organization responsible for enabling convicted cop-killer and patron saint of Black Lives Matter, Assata Shakur, to escape from prison in 1979 and flee to Cuba. On his last day in office, a sympathetic president Bill Clinton commuted Rosenberg’s 58-year sentence to time served, shaving 42 years off her penalty, and allowing her to return to her radical activities..
In December 2020, the IRS granted the BLM Global Network Foundation — the primary organizational umbrella of the BLM movement — its own tax-exempt status, authorizing it to operate as a charitable organization independent of any fiscal sponsor. That newly conferred tax-exempt status made it legally necessary for BLM to submit an annual filing to the IRS known as Form 990, disclosing information about its donors and expenditures. But BLM submitted no such forms in either 2020 or 2021.
Because of the political bias that has been injected into government institutions like the I.R.S. virtually no attention has been paid to the network of so-called charitable organizations they have authorized to underwrite the destructive, criminal activities of Black Lives Matter. Thousand Currents is only one avenue by which political donors under the guise of philanthropic interests have funded the riots that have looted major American cities, assaulted their inhabitants, burned their city centers and polarized the nation. In July 2020, the Tides Center, a $100 million tax-exempt foundation that funnels money from anonymous donors into “progressive” causes, joined Thousand Currents as a “fiscal sponsor” of Black Lives Matter and its criminal activities. The Ford Foundation and the charitable arms of Fortune 500 companies like Apple and Amazon are also part of the network of otherwise law-abiding organizations that fund lawlessness as a charitable venture.
These money streams fund an operation that is not only lawless but is a willing appendage of the Democrat Party. When individuals click the “donate” button on the Black Lives Matter website, they are redirected to a subdomain called “Act Blue Charities” – a deceptive title if there ever was one. Act Blue describes itself as “a powerful online fundraising platform for Democratic candidates up and down the ballot, progressive organizations and non-profits.” If ever a network should have sounded alarms at the I.R.S. this was it. But progressives have become so comfortable breaking the law in the name of “social justice” it didn’t.
BLM’s close ties to the Democrat Party date at least to August of 2015, when the Democratic National Committee formally approved a resolution stating that “the DNC joins with Americans across the country in affirming ‘Black Lives Matter’ and the ‘Say Her Name’ efforts to make visible the pain of our fellow and sister Americans as they condemn extrajudicial killings of unarmed African American men, women and children.” The alleged extra-judicial killings of unarmed African American men, women and children are a fiction invented by Black Lives Matter to achieve its aim of de-funding the police, swallowed whole by the Democrat Party. There is no Justice Department statistic to support these incendiary claims but that hasn’t stopped Black Lives Matter from repeating them. Beginning with Michael Brown and Eric Garner, every celebrated Black Lives Matter case has involved an armed criminal resisting arrest – or, in the tragic case of Tamir Rice, appearing to resist arrest.
Underscoring the Democrats’ sponsorship of Black Lives Matter, President Barak Obama invited BLM leaders to the White House multiple times and used the occasions to praise their efforts. He did so, even after five police officers were assassinated in Dallas by a deranged black racist at a Black Lives Matter march in. 2016. In her 2018 autobiography, When They Call You A Terrorist, Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors portrayed this psychopath as a black victim of white supremacy.
At a White House event during Black History Month in February 2016, Obama welcomed BLM leaders DeRay McKesson and Brittany Packnett. In the course of his remarks, Obama said: “But we’ve also got some young people here who are making history as we speak. People like Brittany [Packnett], who served on our Police Task Force in the wake of Ferguson, and has led many of the protests that took place there and shined a light on the injustice that was happening. People like DeRay Mckesson, who has done some outstanding work mobilizing in Baltimore around these issues. And to see generations continuing to work on behalf of justice and equality and economic opportunity is greatly encouraging to me…. They are much better organizers than I was at their age. I am confident they are going to take America to new heights.”
On September 16, 2015, Packnett, McKesson, and fellow BLM activist Johnetta Elzie met with Obama at the White House. Senior advisor Valerie Jarrett and other administration officials were also present. For Packnett, it was her seventh visit to the Obama White House. Afterward, Packnett told reporters that the president personally supported the BLM movement. “He offered us a lot of encouragement with his background as a community organizer, and told us that even incremental changes were progress,” she stated. “He didn’t want us to get discouraged. He said, ‘Keep speaking truth to power.’”
The BLM-Democrat connection grew closer during the riots that followed the May 25, 2020 death of George Floyd. Floyd was a career criminal high on four times the lethal dose of fentanyl when the police attempted to arrest him and he resisted. His death, most likely from the fentanyl, led to violent BLM-orchestrated riots in 220 American cities. As numerous rioters were arrested, a tax-exempt foundation called the Minnesota Freedom Fund made bail payments to get them released. Senator Kamala Harris made a public statement supporting the Minnesota Freedom Fund and soliciting contributions. “If you’re able to, chip in now to the @MNFreedomFund to help post bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota,” tweeted the senator. At least 13 staff members of Joe Biden’s presidential campaign made personal donations to the Fund.
Of course, the culprits whom the Minnesota Freedom Fund (MFF) bailed out weren’t arrested for “protesting.” They were arrested for assault, arson and other criminal acts. Bailing them out, freed them to continue their criminal attacks. Thanks in part to Harris’ endorsement, MFF received more than $35 million in tax-exempt donations, while a Democrat-supporting I.R.S. did nothing to stop them, even though their sponsor, BLM, had already announced they were a political organization whose goal was to get rid of the Republican Trump and put a Democrat in his place.
The tax code is quite specific about its ban on political activity by tax-exempt entities like Black Lives Matter:
Under the Internal Revenue Code, all section 501(c)(3) organizations are absolutely prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office. Contributions to political campaign funds or public statements of position (verbal or written) made on behalf of the organization in favor of or in opposition to any candidate for public office clearly violate the prohibition against political campaign activity.
During a June 19, 2020 interview on CNN, BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors had said that President Trump was “not fit for office,” and that “he should resign now. Trump needs to be out of office. And so what we are going to push for is a move to get Trump out…. [O]ur goal is to get Trump out.”
Yet no interest by the I.R.S. in all those tax-exempt dollars going to criminal activities whose stated goal was to replace Trump with a Democrat.
On July 27, 2020, Cullors spoke at the Democratic National Committee’s party platform meeting, where she demanded that “sea changes” be made “to the 2020 Democratic platform” in the areas of “the legal system, policing, education, the environment and reparations.” She also noted, approvingly, that the policy team of the Movement for Black Lives (M4BL) — an anti-capitalist 501(c)(3) nonprofit coalition that includes BLM and dozens of other radical organizations — had recently met with Biden campaign representatives to discuss the BREATHE Act, legislation seeking to “dives[t] our taxpayer dollars from brutal and discriminatory policing.” Of course, the matter of BLM brutality on the streets of America’s major cities was one of indifference to Democrats who had chosen whose side they were on.
In a June 17, 2020 appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, an enthusiastic Senator Kamala Harris stated that the BLM riots that were tearing apart city after city should continue indefinitely. Said Harris, a former prosecutor: “They’re not going to stop. This is a movement, I’m telling you….They’re not going to let up and they should not and we should not…. The only way we are going to truly achieve change is when there are people in the system who are willing or pushing to do it and when there are those of us who are outside the system demanding it.” Change through criminal intimidation is not the American system, and not a privilege that a tax-exempt organization should be arrogating to itself. But again, the I.R.S. adhered to its code of Hear No Evil/See No Evil if it is perpetrated by the left.
At the 2020 Democratic National Convention Obama applauded the spectacle of “Americans of all races joining together to declare, in the face of injustice and brutality at the hands of the state, that black lives matter.” Addressing BLM and its supporters directly, Obama said: “To the young people who led us [in protests] this summer, telling us we need to be better—in so many ways, you are this country’s dreams fulfilled….” [emphasis added.]
On October 9th, as the 2020 election approached, BLM launched a Political Action Committee to “actively engage in the general election” by supporting Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and other Democrat political candidates. Patrisse Cullors explained the rationale for the creation of this PAC: “We want to be able to not just speak in ‘get out the vote’ language. [I.e., the neutral language of an activity allowed under the rules governing tax-exempt foundations.] Black Lives Matter is launching our PAC so we can talk directly to voters about who we think that they should be voting for and what we think they should be voting on.” [Activities a tax-exempt foundation is clearly barred from pursuing.] Again, silence from I.R.S. commissioner Charles Rettig and his organization about this gross violation of I.R.S. rules.
BLM’s 2020 Impact Report, which was published in early 2021, named five Democrats BLM had endorsed “for winning [elections] on a platform that invested in Black lives.” These elected officials included Cori Bush (U.S. House, Missouri), Jamaal Bowman (U.S. House, New York), Nikema Williams (U.S. House, Georgia), Jose Garza (District Attorney, Texas), and Shayla Adams-Stafford (Prince George’s Board of Education District, Maryland). The same Impact Report boasted that Black Lives Matter’s PAC had also helped “to ensure [that] both Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff were victorious” in the January 2021 Georgia runoff elections which gave Democrats de facto control of the U.S. Senate.
In the immediate aftermath of the November 3, 2020 presidential election, BLM protesters, who had spent months “preparing” a response in the event of a disputed election, threatened violent unrest if Biden were not declared the winner, and if Trump did not drop his concerns about the legitimacy of the vote. Providing a glimpse of the mayhem that awaited the country if Trump were to prevail, massive throngs of screaming BLM protesters swarmed the streets in city after city with bullhorns, raised fists, and flags and banners demanding a Biden victory.
On November 7 — the day several mainstream media outlets declared Biden and Harris winners of the 2020 election — BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors sent a letter to the new President and VP, signing it “on behalf of the Black Lives Matter Global Network.” After effusively congratulating Biden and Harris on their reported victory, Cullors demanded political payback for her organization’s efforts to get them elected:
We want something for our vote. Without the resounding support of Black people, we would be saddled with a very different electoral outcome. In short, Black people won this election. Alongside Black-led organizations around the nation, Black Lives Matter invested heavily in this election. ‘Vote and Organize’ became our motto, and our electoral justice efforts reached more than 60 million voters. We want something for our vote.
We want to be heard and our agenda to be prioritized. We issue these expectations not just because Black people are the most consistent and reliable voters for Democrats, but also because Black people are truly living in crisis in a nation that was built on our subjugation….

Not only was the IRS unmoved to examine the obvious efforts by BLM and the Democratic Party to promote their electoral agendas on the backs of the American taxpayer, it has up to now failed to investigate BLM’s evident 2020 theft of $90 million to line the pockets of its leaders.
In October 2020, on terminating its role as BLM’s fiscal sponsor, Thousand Currents, transferred $66.5 million directly into the coffers of Black Lives Matter. Two weeks later, a woman named Dyane Pascall — in a transaction that would be kept secret for the next 18 months — took nearly $6 million from BLM’s bank account and used it to pay cash for a vast southern California estate that included a 6,500 square-foot mansion with multiple fireplaces, a soundstage, a pool and bungalow, and parking facilities that could accommodate more than 20 vehicles. Pascall was: (a) the financial manager for Janaya and Patrisse Consulting, a Limited Liability Corporation run by BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors and her spouse, Janaya Khan; and (b) the chief financial officer for Trap Heals, a nonprofit organization headed by Damon Turner, the biological father of Cullors’ only child.
Within a week of the aforementioned purchase of the southern California estate, Pascall transferred ownership of that property to a Delaware LLC that had been established for BLM by Perkins Coie, the Democrat law firm that in 2016 was paid by the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign to fabricate an election-interference conspiracy theory tying Donald Trump to Russian political operatives.
As is usually the case with grifters and swindlers, there was no shortage of leeches in BLM’s orbit, eager to hop aboard the $90 million gravy train. Indeed, a number of people and entities associated with BLM, “Janaya and Patrisse Consulting,” and the “Bowers Consulting Firm” (an entity headed by BLM Deputy Executive Director Shalomyah Bowers), were awarded contracts for the handling of the estate’s upkeep, maintenance, and security needs. These individuals were required, without exception, to sign nondisclosure agreements regarding the existence and ownership of the estate.
On March 30, 2022, investigative reporter Sean Campbell asked BLM a series of questions about the southern California estate, which was known internally by BLM as the “Campus.” Soon thereafter, BLM leaders circulated an internal strategy memo asking “Can we kill the story?” and suggesting that they should try to distance themselves from the potentially embarrassing facts: “Our angle — needs to be to deflate ownership of the property.”
Dyane Pascall’s purchase of the S\southern California estate was not the only questionable transaction made in recent years by someone with close ties to BLM. For example:
- In 2016, BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors purchased a three-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom home in Inglewood, California for $510,000.
- Two years later, she paid $590,000, in cash, for a four-bedroom, 1,725 square-foot home in South Los Angeles.
- In January 2020, Cullors paid $415,000 for a three-bedroom, two-bath “custom ranch” on 3.2 acres of land in Conyers, Georgia. The house included a private airplane hangar with a studio apartment above it; an indoor swimming pool; the use of a 2,500-foot community runway capable of accommodating small airplanes; and a large “RV shop” where a mobile home or small aircraft could undergo maintenance or repair.
- In April 2021, it was reported that Cullors had purchased her fourth home, a secluded mini-compound in Los Angeles’ semi-remote Topanga Canyon for more than $1.4 million.
- It was also reported in April 2021 that Cullors had recently looked at property in an ultra-exclusive resort in the Bahamas, where luxury beachfront apartments and townhouses were priced in the range of $5 million to $20 million.
- In June 2021, it was reported that Cullors had spent $35,000 to have contractors install fencing around the entire perimeter of her Topanga Canyon home, as well as an electronic gate.
- In the summer of 2019, a consulting firm owned by Asha Bandele — who had co-authored Cullors’ 2018 autobiography When They Call You a Terrorist — paid out nearly $26,000 on behalf of Reform LA Jails (RLAJ), a reform initiative chaired by Cullors. And what was that money used for? It was used to pay for the use of a 200-acre luxury beach resort in Malibu, California as the venue for a series of RLAJ “meetings.”
For a while this was one of the most successful scams in American history. Exploiting what was supposed to be among the most government-regulated and monitored institutions, Black Lives Matter leaders were able to gin up a national hysteria over non-existent racial offenses by police departments that were often headed by black police chiefs and overseen by black mayors and liberal city councils. The massive vigilante movement spawned by Black Lives Matter was financed by fleecing American tax-payers of tens of millions of dollars, and powered by a lynch mob mentality that insisted on verdicts in advance of investigations let alone trials on pain of suffering unprecedented violence in America’s streets: “No Justice, No Peace.” Its agenda – alarmingly successful - was to hang white cops as neanderthal racists intent on ending innocent black lives because they were black.
There never was any truth to this claim, but large numbers of Americans and a major political party bought into the fiction because the racist attacks on white cops served their own agendas and needs. It all came to an end with Patrisse Cullor’s petty greed, which exposed the smallness of a mind that cannot encompass empathy for its victims both black and white who suffered because of her lies and the criminal crusade they inflamed.
The crimes committed by Black Lives Matter were in part enabled by a derelict and politically corrupted I.R.S., and also a Democrat Party that has been seduced by America-hating radicals and lost its way. Only time will tell if the integrity of the institutions the left has destroyed – the White House, the Department of Justice, the I.R.S., - can be restored by well-meaning people on both sides of the political aisle. If they cannot, even darker times lie ahead.

The facts that have emerged demonstrate that Black Lives Matter is largely a creation of the corporate media and the Democratic Party, not a genuine expression of insurgent popular opposition to the pervasive brutality and social inequality of American society. The revelations illustrate the venal and privileged social layers whose interests are expressed by the elevation of race, rather than class, as the essential dividing line in society.
Black Lives Matter purchases $6 million property with donation money
Allegations of financial mismanagement among supposed leaders of the Black Lives Matter movement (BLM)—as well as questions surrounding the true character of the organization—continue to unfold following a recent New York Magazine report revealing the group purchased a $6 million luxury home in southern California with money that had been donated to the BLMGNF (Black Lives Matter Global Network Fund, the official title of the only actual national organization).

According to the report, BLMGNF bought the 6,500 square-foot property, complete with seven bedrooms and bathrooms, a sound stage and music studio, a pool, and parking for almost 20 cars, in October 2020, to serve as a “safehouse” and headquarters for BLM leadership to create social media content. Last June, three BLM leaders—Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza and Melina Abdullah—recorded a video outside the property while marking the first anniversary of George Floyd’s murder.
The report has further fueled questions about BLM’s finances barely a year after it released the first look into its finances. The foundation said it collected over $90 million in 2020 alone and committed $21.7 million in funding to various BLM chapters and grassroots organizations. With its operating budget set at $8.4 million, more than $60 million was unaccounted for.
BLM released an official statement defending the purchase of the mansion while simultaneously performing damage control, promising to “provide clarity” and to increase “transparency and accountability.”
“Despite past efforts, BLMGNF recognizes that there is more work to do to increase transparency and ensure transitions in leadership are clear,” said a tweet from the official BLM account. “We are redoubling our efforts to provide clarity about BLMGNF’s work. In the coming weeks, we will unveil new initiatives to increase transparency and accountability, and to continue reshaping what radical philanthropy looks like for Black people.”
BLM sought to justify the purchase of the California mansion, which they call the “Creator House,” by arguing that it was made to encourage “Black creativity” which is “necessary and vital to Black survival.”
“That’s why Creator’s House was purchased—to provide a space for Black folks to share their gifts with the world and hone their craft as they see fit, under the conditions that work best for them and outside systems of oppression in creative industries.”
Patrisse Cullors, co-founder and former executive director of BLMGNF, and Melina Abdullah, co-director of BLM Grassroots, spoke to reporters Monday in a closed roundtable discussion, according to NBC News, where the pair dismissed recent allegations as media attacks and “misinformation.” Cullors and Abdullah claimed that the purchase of the multimillion dollar property was out of concern for the leaders’ safety.
“Almost immediately upon closing, the attacks on me, and BLM, which also means Melina and others, escalated,” Cullors said. She also claimed that she stayed at the home for four nights while the FBI investigated a death threat against her. “So we did use the campus as a haven, as a safe place. That derailed an announcement strategy. Conditions changed, and that’s it.”
Chelsea Fuller, who moderated the discussion, said BLM’s current leadership declined to be part of the discussion and a spokesperson for the organization said that “the Foundation intends to do its own media in the near future.” Cullors officially stepped down as executive director a year ago and it is currently unclear who is in control of the organization and its tens of millions of dollars in donations.
The New York magazine exposé included telling details about the group’s efforts to cover up the actual property transaction. The $6 million house was bought in October 2020 by Dyane Pascall, the financial manager for an LLC operated by Cullors and her spouse, as well as for Trap Heals, a nonprofit run by Damon Turner, the father of Cullors’ only child.
The cash for the purchase came from $66.5 million that had just come in to BLMGNF from donor contributions. Pascall then quickly resold to a Delaware-based LLC, a maneuver that concealed the actual final owner of the property, who remains unidentified.
Last week’s revelations are just the most recent in a long line of allegations that expose the fraudulent nature of BLMGNF. Rather than being a genuine hub of expression for the mass opposition to police brutality, the group speaks for privileged sections of the middle class seeking to cash in on the promotion of racial politics to advance their own positions within the state and corporate America.
The Democratic Party and corporate media have incessantly promoted illusions in racial identity politics as part of an effort to promote racial divisions and obscure common class interests of all workers, including in the fight against police violence.
After the eruption of mass multi-racial protests against police violence triggered by George Floyd’s murder in May 2020, the Democratic Party and its pseudo-left allies worked to redirect popular opposition to police violence into racialist identity politics while promoting illusions that the police can be reformed.

The facts that have emerged demonstrate that Black Lives Matter is largely a creation of the corporate media and the Democratic Party, not a genuine expression of insurgent popular opposition to the pervasive brutality and social inequality of American society. The revelations illustrate the venal and privileged social layers whose interests are expressed by the elevation of race, rather than class, as the essential dividing line in society.
The deadly force police regularly employ against the population is an inevitable result of a society riven with inequality and social contradictions. The victims of the police are of every race, ethnicity and gender—predominantly poor and working class. The fight against police brutality and racism can be won only through the abolition of the capitalist system and the struggle for socialism.
NY’s BLM Lt. Gov Who Backed Police Defunding Busted for Bribery

Sen. Brian Benjamin wanted to defund the NYPD, but he should have fought to defund the FBI because it was the feds that busted the “progressive politician” on bribery charges.
“Last year we made historic strides towards ending mass incarceration with major reforms," Sen. Benjamin had boasted when he was in the legislature. “But there is still more work to do.”
Benjamin’s current work will be avoiding incarceration on five bribery charges.
The busted radical had fought to end bail, turning arrests into a revolving door, close down the Rikers Island prison, limit police enforcement options, and protect parole violators.
While the leftist crook has claimed that there is a school-to-prison pipeline, the real pipeline is the politics-to-prison pipeline in Albany. Governor Spitzer was forced out in a prostitution scandal, his Lt. Governor, David Paterson, was pushed to the door in a sex scandal, and his successor, Andrew Cuomo, well you may have heard that story.
No sooner did Cuomo’s Lt. Gov, Kathy Hochul step into his shoes, then she decided to pick Benjamin, a prog with impeccable police-hating credentials to stay on the right side of the Left.
Now, Hochul, who courted the pro-crime vote, is stuck with a criminal on her ticket.
"I'm going to name someone that I believe the state will be familiar with and very proud of," Hochul had said, announcing Benjamin as her pick for her old job after Cuomo stepped down.
There’s a lot to be proud of. Benjamin has set a new state record of being on the job for only 8 months before having to resign to, in his own words, "focus his energies on explaining in court why his actions were laudable-- not criminal."
Also, like Cuomo, Spitzer and Weiner, Benjamin "looks forward to when this case is finished so he can rededicate himself to public service."
At the rate New York Dems are going, his replacement will have also been indicted by then freeing up a spot for Benjamin to just go right back to his old job of helping criminals.
Asked by reporters now about Benjamin's arrest, Hochul piously scolded, “Let’s focus on the fact that there are people in a hospital right now fighting for their lives.”
And some of those people were even shot because of her opposition to bringing back bail.
You can understand why Hochul and the Dem Albany establishment oppose bringing back bail for criminals or enforcing the law. The only people who support criminals… are criminals.
The New York Dem campaign slogan might as well be, "Vote for Us, Until We're Indicted."
Cuomo began his career as Attorney General of New York. His predecessor was Eliot Spitzer, his successor, Eric Schneiderman was forced to resign after multiple women accused him of choking and assaulting them. And that’s without delving into the conflicts of interest.
And now Hochul will be forced to run for the top spot with Benjamin’s name right after hers.
“I have utmost confidence in my lieutenant governor,” Gov. Hochul told reporters on Thursday.
On Tuesday, her confidence may have waned after Benjamin turned himself in to face justice.
Why did Hochul pick Benjamin? Let’s look at his credentials. In his failed bid for State Comptroller, the Harlem politician ran on a platform of defunding the police.
"I support the movement to defund the police," he had declared. After a wave of shootings, the indicted pol falsely claimed that, “more police don’t lead to more community safety”.
Benjamin's anti-police crusade was backed by former Women's March leader Tamika Mallory who claimed that, “Brian has already been an important leader in the Black Lives Matter movement."
The politician in turn presented an official state proclamation honoring the Farrakhan supporter while hailing Mallory as a “freedom fighter like the ones we read about in the history books”.
When Benjamin helped to bring a Black Lives Matter mural to Harlem, Al Sharpton was there. He was endorsed by Calvin Butts and the rest of the race-baiting royalty at the heart of city politics. By embracing him, Hochul hoped to get the support of Sharpton and the gang.
But it’s not as if the charges could have possibly come as a surprise to anyone with a pulse.
There have been lawsuits, ethics charges, and allegations around him ever since Benjamin won a 4% turnout election that took him to the State Senate and then an appointment as Lt. Gov, a position he was as qualified to hold as Hochul, his former boss, or a small ball of earwax.
Many of those scandals involved Benjamin's relationship with Harlem real estate developers and finance people whom he berated in press releases, but cozied up to and profited from.
“I want to thank the entire village of Harlem who helped create this young man who’s going to help us lead the state into better days and prosperity,” Hochul said when picking Benjamin.
Harlem hasn’t been a village since the 17th century.
And the last Harlem politician to become Lt. Governor was David Paterson who had boasted, "The only way I'm not going to be governor next year is at the ballot box and the only way I'll be leaving office before is in a box" before he had to leave office anyway. Unboxed.
Now Benjamin has made everyone proud by, among other things, accepting a $250 campaign donation from a 2-year-old. It may take a village to raise a child, but it takes a child to write a $250 check to the progressive enabler of criminals who is now allegedly a criminal.
And the pro-crime movement once again loses one of its own to crime on the perpetrating end.
That’s nothing new for New York politicians who couldn’t be left alone in a room with a locked safe or a baby with a lollipop without making off with the safe’s contents and the lollipop.
But as New Yorkers wrestle with an unprecedented crime wave brought on by the dismantling of the criminal justice system by police defunders like Benjamin who worked to eliminate bail, shut down prisons, and set criminals loose, this case is a reminder of why they love criminals.
The Black Lives Matter movement and the Left are thick as thieves because they are thieves.
Fighting for the rights of criminals was never really about race, it was about the entitlement of the sorts of people who lie, steal, and kill their way to the top and then want to help their own.
In the wake of escalating violent attacks due to Democrat pro-crime policies, like eliminating bail, Hochul and Benjamin co-wrote an op-ed titled, "Don’t Blame Bail Reform; Do Improve It".
Since Benjamin’s arrest, there has been no word on bail for the police defunder.
When Governor Hochul’s turn comes, maybe she’ll be luckier.
Unapologetic Tony Dungy Smokes Out Obama’s Betrayal of Black America

Tony Dungy, the first black coach ever to win a Super Bowl, might have escaped notice this week had he merely supported Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s “Responsible Fatherhood Initiative.” His real sin was to explain why.
Dungy, a Christian father or eleven, recounted a conversation he had years back with the Rev. Abe Brown about Brown’s prison ministry. At Brown’s request, Dungy accompanied him to prison. Expecting to find hardened criminals, Dungy found instead “19- and 20- and 21-year-old kids who looked like my boys.” When Dungy asked what accounted for the young men’s incarceration, Brown told him, “It’s not socioeconomic. It’s not 
racial. It’s not education. It’s none of that. Ninety-five percent of these boys did not grow up with their dad.”
Said Dungy, “That hit me.” Predictably, Dungy’s truth-telling stirred the woke beehive. “Dungy standing there cackling,” tweeted former ESPN commentator Keith Olbermann, “a fascist political prop.”
“Fathers are extremely important, but yeah,” tweeted Jemele Hill, also formerly with ESPN, “that ain’t how this works. If a father is in the home and can’t find a job, then what?”
Deadspin, which comically positions itself as “sports news without fear, favor, or compromise,” headlined its article on the DeSantis initiative, “Tony Dungy is constantly used as a prop by bigots.” Reporter Carron Phillips could find little to fault in the initiative itself but took offense that Dungy would appear with DeSantis who, in his unbiased opinion, had made Florida “arguably the worst state in the nation.”
Undaunted, Dungy fired back exactly as warranted. “2 days ago I spoke on behalf of a Florida bill that supports dads & families and it offended some people,” tweeted Dungy. “14 yrs ago Pres Obama said the same things almost verbatim. I’m assuming people were outraged at him too.” Added Dungy defiantly, “I am serving the Lord so I’ll keep supporting dads and families.”
In the tweet, Dungy quoted Obama’s comments from 2008, underlining the words that confirmed the Rev. Brown’s thesis. “We know the statistics,” said Obama, “that children who grow up without a father are five times more likely to live in poverty and commit crime; nine times more likely to drop out of schools and 20 times more likely to end up in prison.”
There is much more to this story. Ideally, someone else of authority in the black community will tell it. In fact, Obama made this speech on Father’s Day 2008, while veering toward the Christian center after Hillary had dropped out of the presidential race. The setting was the Apostolic Church of God in Chicago. “Here at Apostolic,” said Obama, after quoting from the Sermon on the Mount, “you are blessed to worship in a house that has been founded on the rock of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.”
“Of all the rocks upon which we build our lives, we are reminded today that family is the most important,” Obama continued. “And we are called to recognize and honor how critical every father is to that foundation.” Obama spoke here from the heart. More than any previous presidential memoir, his recent memoir, A Promised Land, is a tribute to the joys and responsibilities of fatherhood. Would that all children in America could grow up with the love and support Malia and Sasha have enjoyed. Far too many have not. Obama knew this.
“But if we are honest with ourselves,” Obama continued, “we’ll admit that what too many fathers also are is missing—missing from too many lives and too many homes. They have abandoned their responsibilities, acting like boys instead of men. And the foundations of our families are weaker because of it.” Obama proceeded to explain the consequences of fatherlessness in words that could have come from Tony Dungy.
“You and I know how true this is in the African-American community,” said Obama. “We know that more than half of all black children live in single-parent households, a number that has doubled—doubled—since we were children. We know the statistics—that children who grow up without a father are five times more likely to live in poverty and commit crime; nine times more likely to drop out of schools and 20 times more likely to end up in prison.”
Here, Obama correctly identified family breakdown—not racism, not police brutality, not even the legacy of slavery and Jim Crow—as the reason America’s inner cities have become the most dangerous and dysfunctional in the developed world. This breakdown, he strongly implied, was a byproduct of the modern welfare state. Just as pointedly, Obama acknowledged that the problem was getting worse, exponentially worse.
This was a message the progressive left was no more eager to hear then than now. Chicago’s most prominent baby daddy, Jesse Jackson, let Obama know how unwelcome was his truth-telling. Three weeks after Father’s Day, Jackson was “overheard” talking to another black guest on a hot mic at the Fox News studio. The cynic suspects that Jackson wanted his message to be heard, and he knew that at Fox would someone think to leak it. If so, he got his way.
Said Jackson, “See, Barack been, um, talking down to black people on this faith-based—I wanna cut his nuts out.” Here Jackson made a sharp slicing motion with his hands and continued, “Barack—he’s talking down to black people—telling n*****s how to behave.” (Jackson, I should clarify, did not speak in asterisks.) Jackson later apologized but without even feigning sincerity. Obama seems to have gotten the message. From that day forward, Jackson’s weary, self-destructive wokism carried the day as it had since he assumed leadership of the flailing civil rights movement forty years prior. Obama never spoke meaningfully about fatherhood again.
He had plenty of opportunities. In 2012, Obama might have recounted how paternal abandonment had turned Trayvon Martin from a promising student into a drugged and angry street fighter. Instead, Obama identified his fate with Trayvon’s. George Zimmerman’s rightful acquittal in Trayvon’s death led directly to the formation of Black Lives Matter.
A year after the trial, Obama identified with Ferguson’s deeply troubled Michael Brown, a wayward young man whose home life made even Trayvon’s seem structured. The result of the BLM-inspired riots that followed Brown’s death was what criminologists call the “Ferguson Effect”: the police withdraw, the gangs fill the void, and black people die in the streets. Thousands of them.
This is what Obama wrought. Dungy peeled back the first layer of the onion. Someone needs to keep peeling.

Regional Racism: What It Is, and Why It's Getting Worse
In One South: An Ethnic Approach to Regional Culture (LSU Press, 1982), sociologist John Shelton Reed wrote convincingly of what he called "regional racism."
The accepted definition of "racism" is "prejudice against members of a different ethnic group," with "ethnic" defined as a "subgroup ... with a common national or cultural tradition." By this definition, the South and the West, with their distinctive cultural traditions, may constitute "ethnic groups," and there is a great deal of prejudice in our national culture against both.
The relationship of these ethnicities, and particularly of the South, with the nation as a whole has a long and painful history. Long before the Civil War, there were economic and ideological rivalries between the South and the North, especially over questions related to internal improvements, tariffs, and the creation of a national bank. By 1861, these and other issues led to a fierce division, not unlike what we see today, between two competing ideas of America.
After the war, the South continued to oppose the American System, as it was called — its greatest proponent being Abraham Lincoln. Today, regional differences remain much the same, with southerners supporting limited government and with northern and coastal regions attempting to expand government in exchange for perceived economic advantages. The latest example of this conflict is southern and heartland opposition to Build Back Better.
White Southerners have been the object of the worst stereotyping, though the West, with its caricatures of dumb "cowboys" and blowsy saloon girls, comes in close behind. One would think such racism would have died out long ago, but today's progressives are actually boasting of a second Reconstruction in which whites — not just Southerners, but all whites — are to be made "woke" and forced to admit their supposed privilege and guilt. An integral part of this process is the demand for reparations, such as were passed by the California Legislature at the end of March.
The idea that whites must endure classes in racial sensitivity and that they must pay reparations to blacks — such as the enormous racially targeted sums included in BBB — is predicated on the false view that whites, especially Southern whites, are responsible for income disparity among the races. In fact, under 50 years of affirmative action, blacks have enjoyed enormous advantages over whites and Asians. Yet, according to the latest numbers, high school graduation rates for blacks (79.6%) were far below those for whites (89.4%) and Asians (92.6%). College graduation rates showed the same pattern, with 74% of Asians, 64% of whites, and 40% of blacks graduating, despite preferential treatment for blacks. These low black graduation rates are not the fault of whites.
If anything, whites and Asians should be granted reparations to compensate for the effects of affirmative action.
At last, whites are beginning to see how badly they are treated. According to a study by Tufts and Harvard researchers, whites in general "now believe that anti-white racism has increased and is now a bigger problem than anti-black racism." Even blacks admit that anti-white racism is rising. Those beliefs reflect the reality that whites are discriminated against at every turn, from college admissions to professional advancement to social recognition.
And for whites in the South and West, that discrimination is amplified by the fact that blacks and liberal whites often treat them with contempt and exclude them from opportunities on the basis of accent and other cultural qualities. How many whites from the South and West are serving in the Biden Cabinet? There are none.
One would imagine that in 2022, more than 160 years after the Civil War began, the regional wounds would have healed, but that is not the case. In a popular culture that appeals especially to Northern and coastal liberals, white Southerners are depicted as hillbillies, buffoons, racists, and religious extremists. In depictions stretching from Tobacco Road to The Grapes of Wrath to Driving Miss Daisy and beyond, and in hundreds of thousands of films and television episodes, national audiences have despised, laughed at, and condescended toward the South. The long-running series Hee-Haw was the Southern equivalent of Amos and Andy, with southern whites rather than blacks (or whites in blackface) being the butt of the humor.
It's not just Southerners. In spite of admiration for its natural beauty and the romantic cowboy culture, the West has always seemed irrelevant to the national debate. Its population is too small and, according to progressives, too culturally illiterate to count for much. George W. Bush was derided as a "cowboy," which meant an uncultured, poorly educated, and mentally inferior individual, despite his degrees from Yale and Harvard and his membership in Skull and Bones.
In reality, Bush was far from uneducated or unintelligent. Likewise Westerners Dick Cheney and Karl Rove. The view that almost everyone residing between the Mississippi and the Coastal Range is a dense cowboy with no right to be heard amounts to racism, and liberals need to admit it.
More than anything else, regional racism is based on economic rivalry. New England was always a poor cousin of the South and West as tobacco made Virginia rich, and then cotton, oil, and ranching brought wealth to other heartland states.
The assault on fossil fuels, mostly produced in the South and West, includes racial overtones. From the progressive point of view, only ignorant heartlanders, especially Texans and Okies, would continue to produce such "dirty" fuels — even though the use of natural gas has driven America's carbon emissions to 1990 levels, well below those of China or even Europe. Yet the national culture has long depicted the "Texas oilman" as crude and uncultured, using his wealth to buy whatever he wants. It's the same old prejudice based on oil rather than cotton.
Through it all, Northerners maintained their air of superiority. "We may be poor," they reasoned, "but at least we don't live in the heartland," failing to realize that the wealthiest U.S. states, adjusted for cost of living, are Utah and Virginia, while California and New York are subpar. Adjusted for both taxes and cost of living, living standards in Kansas (9th) and Oklahoma (15th) rank far above New York (29th) and California (37th).
Not only are real incomes higher in the West and the South, but the future is looking worse for the North and the coasts. In 2021, the "cost index" in California was 152% of the national average; New York was 139%, and Massachusetts was 132%. Meanwhile, Tennessee was 88.7% and Texas 91.5%. No wonder Elon Musk moved his operations to Texas.
It's not just money. Crime is lower in most heartland locations. The climate is better. And, though harder to quantify, people are happier and friendlier.
The only thing going for the average New Yorker is the false sense that he is better than those in the South and West. That baseless prejudice is the essence of racism. And those feelings of superiority translate into actions.
Regional racism is deeply embedded in American culture, and the Obama and Biden years have seen an uptick in policies that discriminate against heartland whites. Biden's policies are filled with mandates, minority carve-outs and race-based exclusions and preferences that advance minorities over whites.
Conservatives have worked since the 1850s to create a racially neutral society that would be supportive of Americans from all backgrounds. It is only progressives who continue to push for more regional division. Surely, it's time to bury our regional prejudices and work together, equally, to build an even greater nation.

Black Lives Matter's True Colors
The malicious, self-serving criminal agendas of a racial hoax.

It's been almost two years since the summer of violent Black Lives Matter insurrections and cop-hating crusades. The actions of that summer inflicted $2 billion in property damage in 220 American cities, killed scores of people, and spiked record homicide rates in a dozen municipalities run by Democrat politicians and supporters. This unprecedented eruption of hatred and violence was fueled by a racial hoax claiming that there was an "open season" on black lives, despite the fact that there is no evidence to support this claim, whether statistical or circumstantial.
Apart from affirmative action, which was given a pass by the Supreme Court, and despite the false claims of the president, there is no systemic racism in America today. If police departments, for example, were systemically racist, there would be massive lawsuits invoking the 1964 Civil Rights Act, which specifically outlaws institutional and systemic racism. There are no such massive lawsuits because there is no systemic racism in police departments. Although the accusation of systemic racism is the main currency of the Black Lives Matter hate campaign — and, shamefully, of the rhetoric emanating from the White House itself — there is no factual basis for this slander. None.
The time that has elapsed since the launch of the left's racial witch hunt has provided ample opportunity to expose the malicious, self-serving criminal agendas of the Black Lives Matter movement. These have nothing to do with the welfare of black communities, which have not received a penny of the tens of millions of dollars raised in their name. Contributions to Black Lives Matter have gone to line the pockets and enhance the real estate portfolios of its leaders. Meanwhile, the chief victims of the homicides unleashed by their actions have been poor black inner-city communities — with no show of concern by Black Lives Matter and its allies.
A week ago, a Black Lives Matter activist named Quintez Brown attempted to assassinate a Jewish mayoral candidate in Louisville. Without any hesitation, Black Lives Matter provided a $100,000 bond to get him released within two days of his arrest. It was not the first instance where Black Lives Matter showed its solidarity with political and racial assassins, or its support for domestic terrorism. When a black assassin murdered five cops in Dallas, and the assassin was blown up by a police robot, Black Lives Matter founder Patrisse Khan-Cullors portrayed the murderer as a black-skinned martyr because he was "the first individual ever to be blown up by local law enforcement." She ignored the fact that the assassin was a homicidal maniac, and the order to blow him up was made by the Dallas police chief, who was black.
As an emblem of the Biden Democrats' support for the anti-white, anti-law racists of the left, Biden recently appointed political consultant Minyan Moore to advise him on his selection of a black woman to fill the Supreme Court seat left vacant by the retirement of Justice Stephen Breyer. Minyan Moore is a director of the Black Lives Matter Global Foundation. Worse, she is a close friend and promoter of Kimberle Crenshaw, the creator of Critical Race Theory, which indicts America's constitutional order as "white supremacist" from its inception and concludes that no American laws or institutions should be respected because of those origins.
To have Moore as the presidential adviser on a Supreme Court nomination epitomizes the anti-American, anti-democratic agendas of Black Lives Matter's "trained Marxists." In addition, Moore has been a political consultant to the Clintons, Kamala Harris, and the race-hustler Jesse Jackson — an indication of how the Democrat Party has reverted to its roots as the party of slavery, racism and segregation.

Every year in America, some 500 whites are murdered by black assailants, more than twice as many as blacks killed by whites. The media need to report all of these cases fairly and without bias so as to counter the false reporting and misplaced emphasis in the national press. All victims, of whatever race, deserve justice because all human life is precious. “I can’t breathe.”
Those three words uttered by career criminal George Floyd prior to his death by drug overdose while in police custody rocked the nation in the spring of 2020. The historic eruption of lawlessness and violence that followed under that rallying cry opened new fault lines in the nation’s cultural and political landscape, threatening a radical reshaping of American society.

Among the deaths Horowitz examines of those allegedly killed for their race are George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Eric Garner, and Michael Brown. In following these stories and the lynch mob protests that BLM orchestrated, Horowitz tells the story of how the BLM movement began, grew, and went national and then international. Horowitz dissects all 26 incidents according to the facts, backed up by over 70 pages of endnotes. He demonstrates how BLM has lied about every single one in its quest to aggravate racial tensions, sow hatred of white people and police of all colors and rip America apart.
His investigation shows that “while some of the Black Lives Matter cases reveal tragic errors of judgment, almost all involve resistance by armed criminals to warranted arrests. In the vast majority of cases, Horowitz concludes, “the deceased would still be alive if they had simply obeyed police commands.”
But of course, inconvenient facts and statistics are irrelevant to the racist power-mongers of BLM, “whose motives and goals have nothing to do with black lives mattering,” Horowitz notes. “Black Lives Matter is not a civil rights organization. It is a revolutionary criminal movement whose goals are openly Marxist and communist.” What matters to them, he adds, is not black lives but “the anti-American revolution they are advancing and the fantasy world they think they will achieve by destroying the most equitable, inclusive, tolerant, and free society that has ever existed.”
Horowitz answers the question he poses in one chapter heading – “What Kind of Movement is This?” – with an exposé of BLM’s proud links to cop-killers and domestic terrorists such as BLM patron saint and convicted cop killer, Assata Shakur, and May 19th Communist terrorist, Susan Rosenberg (who now sits on the board of Thousand Currents, a nonprofit that has funneled tens of millions of dollars into BLM coffers); to black racists and antisemites like Al Sharpton and Louis Farrakhan; to a coalition of radical groups like the street thugs of Antifa and the Labor/Community Strategy Center (headed by former Weather Underground terrorist Eric Mann, the ideological mentor of BLM founder Patrisse Cullors); and to major funders like far-left billionaire financier George Soros and the Ford and Kellogg Foundations.
Horowitz also addresses BLM’s indoctrination of schoolkids, its takeover of the culture, its anti-family agenda (the declaration of which was scrubbed from the organization’s website when it began to attract too much outraged attention), and its perpetuation of destructive, anti-American myths such as “systemic racism.”
Demonstrated by their actions over the past two years, the goals of Black Lives Matter are a far cry from those of the civil rights movement of sixty years ago. Despite its anti-capitalist, anti-family, antisemitic, anti-white, and anti-American agenda, BLM continues to receive hundreds of millions of dollars from powerful corporations. And the organization has yet to be held accountable for all the criminal acts spawned by its hate campaigns.
Contrary to what donors to the organization may have intended, the millions of dollars raised in support of BLM have been appropriated by its leaders to spend on themselves – not on helping black Americans. In January, news reports indicated that BLM had $60M in the bank, but who controls it? Where did all the money go that this terrorist organization bamboozled from hundreds of thousands of people and corporations? BLM has yet to even file taxes for 2020, the year it raised tens of millions of dollars after George Floyd's death; and it has no official leader overseeing its $60 million war chest after co-founder Cullors resigned in May in the wake of controversy over her purchase of multiple private homes for her own use with BLM funds. Who will hold the nonprofit’s officers personally liable for its lack of financial transparency?
Massive giving by deep-pocketed donors linked to Facebook, Twitter and Netflix – as well as by corporations virtue-signaling their “woke” political consciousness – enabled the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation (BLMGNF) to raise over $90 million in 2020 alone. But no one seems to know how most of that money has been spent. Interestingly, BLM’s impact report lists far more transgender-advocacy organizations as its recipients than organizations promoting black civil rights. One would think that all of this might rouse curiosity about what happened to the billions pledged to BLM, or the millions given to BLMGNF specifically. Yet mainstream media outlets show no interest in holding them accountable.
In his concluding chapter “Whose Future?” Horowitz links the BLM movement’s aims to the broader agenda of the Democrat Party under decrepit President Joe Biden, who himself publicly promotes the shameful lie that blacks in America are oppressed by a “systemic racism” which is outlawed under the 1964 Civil Rights Act and demonstrably does not exist.
Whose future, indeed? If we are to repel Black Lives Matter’s full-on assault on our values, institutions, and character, it will only be if all American patriots summon the kind of courageous, truth-telling resistance David Horowitz displays in his indispensable book I Can’t Breathe to expose and condemn this corrosive racial hoax perpetrated by BLM, its media enablers, and its Democrat supporters.

Quintez Brown, a Black Lives Matter activist, walked into the campaign office of a Louisville political candidate and opened fire. Bullets grazed the clothing of Craig Greenberg, a local businessman running in the mayoral election, as people ran for cover from the shooter.
Brown's bag carried extra magazines suggesting that he had come prepared for a massacre or an extended firefight. However the people in the office barricaded the door and the Black Lives Matter activist ran for it.
The police caught him anyway.
After years of campaigning against the police with BLM, the arrest came as poetic justice, but it was followed by BLM's Louisville Community Bail Fund bailing out the assassin.
"It is nearly impossible to believe that someone can attempt murder on Monday and walk out of jail on Wednesday," Mayoral candidate Craig Greenberg said.
And yet that’s always been the goal of BLM and the pro-crime police defunding movement.
"There is simply no defense for a would-be assassin to be released on bail, 60 hours after firing on his intended target," Adam Edelen, the former Chief of Staff for Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear, tweeted.
Brown had led a charmed life long before the shooting. After a free ride scholarship to the University of Louisville, he met with Obama as a fellow at the Youth Violence Prevention Research Center, along with John Legend and Michael B. Jordan, got a column at the Courier Journal and was planning to launch his own political career.
After a very privileged life, it’s not surprising that Quintez Brown retains his political privilege.
Black Lives Matter is a racist and antisemitic hate group, and Brown’s increasingly hateful and antisemitic views were not out of line with his fellow black nationalist bigots. BLM’s decision to bail him out of jail is evidence that the hate group continues its support even after the shooting.
And who was behind Louisville Community Bail Fund?
The bail fund is a project of BLM Louisville, but its fiscal sponsor is the Alliance for Global Justice. AFGJ had been created to support Marxist Sandinista terrorists in Nicaragua and its backers include George Soros, Tides, the Ben and Jerry’s Foundation, and other wealthy leftists.
The Louisville Community Bail Fund was originally set up to bail out BLM rioters during the violent mob scenes over the death of Breonna Taylor who was killed when her boyfriend opened fire on police officers during a drug raid. Celebrities who rallied on social media to celebrate the drug dealer’s girlfriend also promoted donations to the bail fund in order to help the rioters.
"If you are heartsick over racism & injustice, let it manifest action, work towards justice, however you can manage," Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda tweeted, along with a link to the Louisville Community Bail Fund. “If you cannot donate, amplify/volunteer.”
Some of these tweets were organized by celebrity, music, and women’s magazines like Billboard, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Marie Claire who cheered support for the racist rioters devastating cities and provided convenient links enabling readers to donate to free them.
Rapper Janelle Monae tweeted, "I’m getting heroes out of jail in Louisville. Join me if you can (especially those who seek to be allies). Let’s donate."
Monae, despite no discernible talent, has multiple Grammy Award nominations, is a Cover Girl spokeswoman, and Boston even created Janelle Monae Day to honor her. She appeared in the revisionist history movie Hidden Figures and has faced no consequences for her activism.
Scandal star Kerry Washington convened an Instagram online yoga class and offered donations to the Louisville Community Bail Fund for everyone who joined her collective breathing class.
Former teen actress Gabrielle Union also tweeted about her bail fund donation.
Front Page Magazine reached out to some of the celebrities who donated to the bail fund for a racist hate group in light of its role in bailing out a political assassin, but received no reply.
The cast, crew, and producers of FOX’s sitcom Call Me Kat, also made a collective donation.
“I set our upcoming Fox series in Louisville to honor my hometown,” executive producer Darlene Hunt said. “But in light of current events, supporting the Louisville Community Bail Fund seemed like an important way to not only honor my hometown but to also hopefully promote positive change.”
How releasing rioters to destroy more of the city would promote positive change was unclear.
Schitt's Creek star Dan Levy tweeted, "Disgusted. Enraged. Heartbroken. Please contribute if you can. Justice should not be a luxury" along with a link to the Louisville Community Bail Fund.
Now it’s Louisville residents watching a racist assassin being set free who are disgusted and enraged at this betrayal of justice aided and abetted by millionaire celebrities from California.
None of the actors whom I contacted about their support for a fund that bailed out a political assassin were interested in replying and addressing the issue. Much like the celebrities who supported Black Lives Matter were unwilling to discuss the devastating riots, destruction of family businesses, and deaths caused by the racist hate groups they were supporting.
The violence that Quintez Brown unleashed in a campaign office did not come out of nowhere.
Black Lives Matter lives by violence and hate. The hate that Brown spewed on social media did not get any attention until he opened fire. And even then his apologists are claiming that his actions are the result of mental illness rather than his association with a racist hate group.
Leftists want to support Black Lives Matter, yet they refuse to accept responsibility for its violence. Celebrities eagerly organized donations to free race rioters and criminals, but are unwilling to accept responsibility when the BLM fund they backed releases an assassin.
The reckoning over years of Black Lives Matter violence, backed by corporations and celebrities, has yet to arrive. But as violence by the extremists drawn to the racist movement continues, those who funded violence and terrorism will have to answer for the consequences.
