I’d be inclined to disagree with Don except for one thing: Biden has proven to be a very adept criminal mastermind. For decades, he has funneled millions of dollars to his children and siblings and, especially, to his debauched, deviant son, Hunter. ANDREA WIDBURG

This is particularly concerning owing to the Biden family’s record of shady business dealings in China and Ukraine.  Equally concerning is Hunter Biden’s amateur artworks receiving astronomical sums from anonymous foreign buyers. It is common knowledge that art sales have been among the primary methods for money laundering.

With no moral code, no center, nothing matters. You just read what’s in the teleprompter and hit the sack by 7:00 while your degenerate son collects piles of cash for the family until you’re free to do it on your own. All you have to do is what you’re told, your handlers and the media will take care of the rest.

                                               DEREK HUNTER

That kind of desperation seems to be evident in House Biden's quick bid to cash in all at once, too. Do they know something we don't? Do they expect their window of opportunity will be short? How is it they can jump up so fast to cash in, even against warnings from Joe, who after all, assured the voters last fall with this malarkey:

“My son, my family will not be involved in any business, any enterprise that is in conflict with or appears to be in conflict, with inappropriate distance from the presidency and government,” he said. MONICA SHOWALTER

Troubling questions about Biden’s vacation days

The Washington Examiner recently reported that Joe Biden is on course to spend more time away from the White House than any of his recent predecessors.  Biden has spent more than a quarter of his first year in office in Delaware, typically on weekends, and has continued that trend in year two.

Biden has spent an estimated 188 full or partial days away from the White House, with 130 spent at his Delaware properties, 52 at Camp David, and six in Nantucket.

If that pace holds, Biden will spend roughly 553 days away from the White House over his first term.

How does this record compare to previous US Presidents?

President Donald Trump spent 381 days away from the White House while in office. Obama spent 328 days away during his tenure while George W. Bush spent 1,020 days away from the White House for his two terms. Bill Clinton was away for 345 days during his tenure.

These numbers are irrelevant perhaps because the burden of the Presidency always prevails, irrespective of the physical location.

Vacations must never be scoffed at. All humans, irrespective of the job they do, deserve a break from their daily rigmarole. A weekend getaway or an occasional vacation for a week or two is needed to refresh the mind and body.

For a President, spending time away from Washington often provides valuable time to ponder over complex issues and contemplate innovative solutions. A change of location often lends a fresh perspective. It also provides an opportunity to interact freely with advisors in a relaxed atmosphere without being suited and booted and away from the prying eyes of the press.

The problem isn't only Biden is spending time away from Washington;

the problem is also what he does in Washington.

When in the White House, Biden usually has few events scheduled on his calendar.  These typically are meet and greets events with foreign leaders. There are also scripted live addresses. Biden is frequently late for live events, often by even an hour. When he does read his teleprompter, he sounds as if he is just discovering not just the content but new words. He often whispers, mumbles, and sounds incoherent.

Biden is seldom subjected to impromptu interactions with the press. There have also been situations where the press rudely ejected from the Oval Office as they are asking questions of Biden.

Upon taking office Biden pledged to be more transparent about the activities within the White House. The White House publishes a daily log of visitors. Can this log be trusted to be fully transparent? We know the answer to that.

However, the New York Post reported that the same openness doesn’t apply to Biden’s home in Delaware. No visitor logs are published.

The question remains: are other shady deals being struck in Delaware? Is national interest being compromised for the Bidens’ gains? Who is meeting with Biden or his handlers in Delaware? We may never know.

The lack of transparency of the activities when Biden is away from the White House is more worrying than Biden merely being away.

We now focus on Biden’s output.

If the US were prospering and the world were at peace, nobody would begrudge Biden even if he made Delaware his full-time residence.  But alas, that is emphatically not the case.  Since Biden took office, the citizenry has been subjected to one unprecedented crisis after another.

The struggle begins with economic woes; inflation in the U.S. is at a 40-year high, resulting in soaring costs of living. Just last month, unemployment rose to 5.950 million.

Those who are employed and can afford to survive the record inflation are suffering due to the supply chain crisis. Even infants have not been spared, due to a shortage of baby formula.

Biden has also failed to protect the homeland. The U.S. border is almost unguarded   leading to a considerable influx of illegal migrants and large-scale trafficking of illicit narcotics such as fentanyl.

The crime wave is rampant with shootings, and gang violence is becoming a frequent occurrence.

Beyond the U.S., Biden's disgracefully hasty withdrawal from Afghanistan left that country volatile. It doubtless emboldened Russia to intervene militarily in Ukraine and China to make aggressive overtures toward Taiwan.

Biden frequently makes reckless claims which the White House has to walk back later.

Overall, Biden has made the US appear as an empire on the verge of drastic decline. He has also made the U.S. appear to be an unreliable, and uncaring ally.

An objective study of presidential history may reveal Joe Biden to be among the worst, if not the worst US President in modern times.

Sometimes incompetent people can appear competent if they surround themselves with able people. As Victor Davis Hanson observed, the only common factors to all Biden appointees are ideological rigidity, nonchalance, and sheer incompetence. Biden’s failed presidency may be at a point of no return.

The only area where Biden is on track to surpass all previous presidents is spending time away from the White House.

Taking repeated vacations while performing poorly at the job resulting in suffering of citizens also makes Biden appear like an insensitive Nero-like figure.

Biden's easy schedule in the White House and his frequent absence prove what is obvious to everybody:  Biden’s rapidly declining cognitive abilities have left him incapable of functioning as president. Those running the show prefer to have him behind closed doors or at far away locations. The less Biden is seen, the safer they feel. This is exactly how they ran Biden's presidential campaign.

This is nothing short of outrageous. The US shouldn’t be a third-world totalitarian regime where a compromised puppet is installed via rigged elections while the deep state runs the country by proxy.

In a democracy, supreme power is owned by citizens, which they lend to their leaders in Washington.  As owners of the power, citizens have a right to know who is using their power to run their country and who is responsible for all the decisions that have placed them in unprecedented peril.

Exclusive: RNC Video Details Joe Biden’s Intimate Involvement in Corrupt Family Business

The Republican National Committee on Wednesday released a video exclusively to Breitbart News detailing President Joe Biden’s involvement in Hunter Biden’s family business scheme.

While Joe Biden has claimed at least seven times to have no knowledge of his family’s corrupt dealings, the president has evidently played a role in the Biden family business at least 12 times over six years.

Text messages from 2019 on Hunter’s “laptop from hell” reveal the Biden family’s payout mechanism, which indicates a collection of 50 percent of familial salaries for 30 years. The mechanism could be legal “predicates” for racketeering charges, according to former Utah U.S. attorney Brett Tolman.

“I hope you all can do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family for 30 years,” Hunter texted to his daughter describing the family’s payment system. “It’s really hard. But don’t worry, unlike Pop [Joe], I won’t make you give me half your salary.”

Hunter Biden is currently under investigation by Joe Biden’s Justice Department for tax fraud, money laundering, and violation of lobbying laws, according to the New York Times. Hunter is reportedly trying to settle the case out of court and has paid $1 million to the IRS to evade conviction or a long sentence.

According to an April Harris poll, 58 percent of Americans believe Joe Biden has played a role in his family’s business. Sixty percent say Hunter Biden, a key member of the family enterprise, has sold “influence and access” to Joe Biden. The poll also found that 67 percent believe Joe Biden should be impeached if he “secretly participated and facilitated” in the family’s business.

The RNC’s video script depicting Biden’s involvement with the family business follows:

His son, Hunter, joining the then-vice president on the official visit to Beijing. Unknown to the press back then, Hunter Biden was forming a Chinese private equity fund, planning to raise money, including from Chinese investors. Ten days after the Bidens’ trip, Shanghai authorities issued the fund’s business license.

Then-Vice President Joe Biden had dinner with his son, Hunter, along with Hunter’s business associates from Ukraine, Russia, and Kazakhstan. And the day after the dinner, a Burisma executive sent a note to Hunter, quoting, “Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to D.C. and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spend some time together.”

Hunter’s lucrative business dealings often included giving as much as 50% of his earnings to his dad. The texts read, quote, “I hope you all can do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family for 30 years. It’s really hard, but don’t worry. Unlike Pop, I won’t make you give me half your salary.”

“And Hunter introduced me as, ‘This is Tony, Dad, the individual I told you about that’s helping us with the business that we’re working on and the Chinese.'”

The email reads this way, quote, “At the moment, there’s a provisional agreement that the equity will be distributed as follows: ten held by Hunter for the big guy.”

“I a thousand percent sit here and know that the big guy is referencing Joe Biden. I met with the former vice president in person multiple times.”

A newly revealed text message shows Bobulinski was apparently warned by business partner James Gilliar, “Don’t mention Joe being involved. It’s only when you are face to face. I know you know that, but they are paranoid.”

Chinese executives admitted to reporters that they were actually introduced to the vice president by Hunter Biden.

Hunter and the then-vice president seen with a pair of Mexican billionaires. At the same time, Hunter had been working on energy deals in Mexico.

Joe Biden also had Hunter and his business partner fly on Air Force Two to Mexico.

The president agreed to pay Hunter Biden’s legal fees for his business dealings with a Chinese controlled company. Hunter’s assistant reportedly telling a pair of Biden aides, quote, “I spoke with Hunter today regarding his bills. It is my understanding that Hunter dad will cover these bills in the short term.”

There is photographic evidence of Biden on a golf outing with both his son, Hunter, and a man called Devon Archer, who was another member of the Burisma board.

We also know that Devon Archer in that picture had a meeting in the White House, a one-on-one meeting with Joe Biden about a week before they joined the Burisma board.

His closest business partner, Hunter’s, has made at least 19 visits to the White House and other official locations, including a sit down with then-Vice President Joe Biden in the West Wing.

“I have never discussed with my son or my brother or anyone else anything having to do with their businesses. Period.”

Help! The (Pretend) President's Fallen and Can't Get Up!

In as sure a sign of a disloyal White House staff as any, reports have leaked that Joe Biden is "rattled" by cratering public approval polls and is desperately "pressing aides for a more compelling message."  (Remember, folks: only the fairytale "narrative" matters, not Biden's real-world dumpster fire of a presidency.)  High-level staff have been leaving the White House in droves.  Biden's chief of staff, Ron Klain, is reportedly planning to skedaddle soon after the midterms.  A massive exodus of black staffers is undermining morale.  Old Joe is so "frustrated" with his advisers' regular "clean-up campaign" of his public comments that he has begun reprimanding them that it is he who is president.  Meanwhile, his handlers' never-ending efforts to save their boss from his impaired brain and loose lips have given the White House's propaganda machine the appearance of a veritable "clown show."

I've been waiting for this freak-out — the moment when either a temporarily lucid Joe or his nurse-wife Jill finally comes to the realization that this administration is on a path to being remembered as the most incompetent, corrupt, or evil (or maybe all three) in American history.  At some point, the Bidens' wounded pride was bound to clash with Barack Obama's maneuverings to use "ah shucks" Joe as a stalking horse for "fundamentally transforming" America into a Marxist theocracy.  (When the priests of political correctness force people to betray their consciences in order to comply with the State's dogma, then you're living in a theocratic dictatorship.)

A lot of very smart, savvy people have pointed out that this has never actually been Dementia Joe's presidency.  In exchange for giving him a spot to nap behind the Resolute Desk, Biden handed his administration over to the likes of Susan Rice, Elizabeth Warren, Jim Clyburn, and many of Obama's other communist comrades in arms eager to usher in their precious New World Order, where the few will rule and the many will obey.  Astutely, the Marxist-socialists knew that the only way to implement their brand of totalitarianism was to put a decrepit Establishment figurehead in office to provide the appearance that the Old Guard had things under control, while the New Guard began their crackdown on free speech, freedom of movement, private property, digital privacy, self-defense, and just about anything else strictly protected from government tyranny by the Bill of Rights.

Ironically, the Democrats and the World Economic Forum oligarchs scuttled the ascendant 2020 campaign of out-and-proud communist Bernie Sanders (who nobody believed could be lifted to victory over President Trump, even with an onslaught of illegal mail-in ballots) in order to usher in a "centrist" Joe Biden who would nonetheless agree to push Bernie's despicable policies.  In return for giving a crooked and corroded D.C. relic what he always craved — that Oval Office all senators covet — Joe sold any residual control over his own presidency to Obama's leftist confederates.  That was the deal with the devil Biden made, and because venality has been the chief calling card of the Delaware Dimwit's half-century of squatting in federal office, he never batted an eye before selling the meager remnants of his cirrhotic soul for the chance to play "Mr. President."

The American people, for what it's worth, got hosed twice.  First, they were forced to surrender their common sense and accept (through a combination of censorship, intimidation, and criminal punishment) that a man of mediocre talents and consistently low national support over the course of fifty years in the public eye had somehow won more votes than any politician in American history.  Then, after having watched Biden assume office behind layers of barbed wire security fencing and a military cordon that belied his "popularity," they have been forced to endure eighteen months of unbridled Marxist authoritarianism while being told by a criminally complicit press that Joe is the face of "unity," "compassion," and "moderation."

For the most part, Americans have known they were sold a bill of goods ever since a handful of deep blue cities in battleground states found enough mail-in ballots to secure Biden's victory four days after the election, and the corporate news cartel and social media tech lords combined their malevolent monopoly forces to make it strictly verboten to question that dubious outcome.  Nothing says, "Trust election integrity" like large-scale censorship campaigns, followed by a despicably unjust mass arrest of political protesters (too many of whom are still in jail today, awaiting some semblance of constitutional due process), whose questionable "crime" of trespassing on public property has been ludicrously transformed into banana republic rhetorical charges of "insurrection" and "treason."  Rather predictably, as Puppet Joe's "presidency" has progressed, a solid majority of the American people have confirmed in poll after poll that they believe that "cheating" affected the 2020 election outcome.  Still, one look at President Senile's face tells you that he really expected the American people to come around, accept him as legitimately elected, and champion his stewardship of the White House.

Maybe some statistically significant portion of the American people would have allowed themselves to be steamrolled by government propaganda had Joe's promises to be a "Uniter-in-Chief" been anything more than pure horsepucky, but for a guy who has ostensibly made it his mission to divide Americans more hostilely against each other, who has no compunction about using the blunt instrumentality of the federal government to punish his political enemies, and who has shown a natural tendency to rebuff calls for seeking common ground, he has made no new friends among the American electorate.  Somehow, the same man who the corporate news media insist shattered vote totals in 2020 is now sitting at record-low approval ratings with the American public.  You could be forgiven for thinking somebody who allegedly managed to beat Obama's 2012 vote totals by fifteen million would have an impregnable cushion capable of withstanding politically daunting challenges.  Whether or not Biden's 2020 support was just another media-manufactured mirage, it's certainly gone now.  Nobody anywhere sports shirts, hats, or bumper stickers claiming fidelity to his name.  His vaunted record-breaking support has dried up faster than a parched man's spit in the desert.

What kind of president (installed stooge or not) could rationally expect to survive politically when everything he touches brings more pain for the American people?  If Americans didn't understand how Marxist Green New Deal policies inevitably precipitate inflationary fuel and food prices, they do now.  If Americans didn't understand how the Biden-McConnell Establishment axis depends on never-ending war all over the world (including reckless dalliances with nuclear-armed powers) in order to enforce a "rules-based international order" that rarely benefits ordinary Americans, D.C.'s proxy war against Russia in Ukraine has made things crystal-clear.  If Americans thought the government's war on free speech would miraculously stop with "hate speech," the bureaucracy's efforts to treat dissent as "disinformation" have opened up a lot of eyes.  If Americans once gave government the benefit of the doubt when infringing on the Second Amendment, Congress's efforts to treat ordinary rifles as "assault" weapons and Joe Biden's own comments suggesting he intends to follow fascist Canada's approach in strangling handgun ownership make it difficult to dispute that gun confiscation has always been the real goal.

Marxist authoritarianism is never popular policy.  That's why only defenseless populations with heavily regulated speech and markets (surviving under threats of social stigmatization, job losses, "cancelation," and criminal punishment) eventually decide unanimously to support the tyrant controlling their fates.  Until America descends further into that madness, however, Biden's presidency will remain fallen and unable to get back up.  And from the looks of it, nobody is coming to help.

There Is No Plan

Column: The closer attention you pay to Biden, the less he has to say

President Joe Biden is "rattled," according to NBC News, and "looking to regain voters’ confidence that he can provide the sure-handed leadership he promised during the campaign."

How? By trying to change the media narrative. On May 30, Biden published an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal that explained "My Plan for Fighting Inflation." The next day, Biden wrote a "guest essay" for the New York Times on "What America Will and Will Not Do in Ukraine."

Bad poll numbers and a collapsing domestic and international situation have excited the typically drowsy president into action. There’s a problem, though. The closer you read Biden’s op-eds, the less he has to say. This new, annoyed, engaged Biden may be a prolific writer and speaker. But he’s not an incisive one. He won’t admit that there is a connection between his ideology and America’s problems. He can’t decide between giving Ukraine the weapons necessary to defeat Russia or settling for a war of attrition.

Biden’s Journal op-ed is a masterclass in passing the buck. He doesn’t bring up his "plan for fighting inflation" until midway through his thousand-word piece. My inner college professor wanted to send the article back to him with suggestions for revision. Number one: Always move your best material to the top!

The plan itself is gauzy and thin. "The Federal Reserve has a primary responsibility to control inflation." You wouldn’t know that from listening to Progressives, including some of Biden’s nominees to the Federal Reserve, who argue that the Fed’s interest in price stability distracts it from promoting full employment, green energy, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Now Biden wants the Fed to correct not only its mistakes, but his own. Let’s see if his faith in an independent central bank can stand the test of higher interest rates, higher unemployment, and lower incomes.

Parts two and three of Biden’s inflation plan are the remnants of his Build Back Better agenda: some clean energy and housing subsidies here, a few tax hikes there. He mentions his use of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to lower gas prices, but not his appeals to Venezuela and OPEC to boost the oil supply. As for the obvious answers to America’s energy problems—a complete reversal of Biden’s hostility to oil and gas exploration and production, huge investments in nuclear power, and emergency efforts to increase refinery capacity—Biden has no words. His devotion to the environmental lobby and to green energy blinds him. If the Progressive Left rejects nuclear power, the "clean energy future" it desires won’t arrive.

This mismatch between ends and means is visible in Biden’s Ukraine policy. The president tells New York Times readers that the United States sends Ukraine weapons "so it can fight on the battlefield and be in the strongest possible position at the negotiating table." The desired end state is "a democratic, independent, sovereign, and prosperous Ukraine with the means to deter and defend itself against further aggression." And Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky is in the driver’s seat. "I will not pressure the Ukrainian government—in private or public—to make any territorial concessions."

All good. Why, then, limit the weapons deliveries to systems with ranges of 40 miles? Why slow-walk and agonize over each tranche of support? Why engage with Russia in farcical and dangerous negotiations over Iran’s nuclear weapons? Why not take a more active role in peace talks between Ukraine and Russia? The Biden policy is static even as the shape of the war changes in ways that favor the aggressor. The president’s goals are laudable. But his tactics are calibrated for a war that Ukraine is winning.

And Ukraine is not winning. At least not now. The Ukrainians defeated Russia’s attempt at regime change. But they have been less successful in removing Russia from eastern Ukraine and from their port cities in the south and southeast. Absent a change in Biden administration policy—in the ranges of weapons systems America provides Ukraine, in the establishment of a humanitarian corridor to relieve the Russian blockade of Ukrainian Black Sea ports, or in a major diplomatic effort—the war will turn into a frozen conflict with no clear resolution and with mounting humanitarian costs. How that situation would help anyone, including Biden, is unclear.

Then again, little Biden says or does makes sense from the vantage point of either policy or politics. He’s right to be rattled. He’s also clueless.

Biden’s Pitch to Voters: You’re Wrong About the Economy, Stupid

Democrats unveil plan to solve inflation by 'highlighting the remarkable progress we've made'

President Joe Biden and the Democratic Party finally have a plan to get inflation under control and address the economic anxiety felt by millions of Americans. It's not a plan in the conventional sense, but rather a public relations campaign to convince the American people that "despite their current misgivings, the economy is actually doing quite well."

Inflation is soaring and gas prices are through the roof, but Americans are wrong to be concerned about the direction of the country, the president and his allies will argue this month. Politico reports that Biden has assembled a team of experts and professional communicators to make the case that, actually, the economy is good. The White House effort to "communicate on our accomplishments" kicked off on Monday with a Wall Street Journal op-ed in which Biden touted his stewardship of "the most robust recovery in modern history" and cited a bunch of macroeconomic statistics to make his case.

Polling shows that the vast majority of Americans don't think Biden is doing a good job handling the economy. These Americans are wrong, Biden argued in his op-ed. "According to the International Monetary Fund, the U.S. economy will be larger at the end of this year—relative to its prepandemic size—than any other Group of 7 economy," he wrote. Maybe that will convince them. In case the op-ed wasn't compelling enough to change hearts and minds, Biden will deliver remarks in response to the May jobs report on Friday that will highlight "the remarkable progress we've made."

The dubious public relations campaign is in keeping with the Democratic Party's longstanding belief that all of their electoral problems could be solved by simply explaining to skeptical voters that they have no good reason to be skeptical. It is also indicative of a White House in disarray. Biden is reportedly furious at his subordinates for failing to come up with a winning message ahead of the 2022 midterm elections, and White House chief of staff Ron Klain is rumored to be on the chopping block. Anita Dunn, a longtime Biden aide who once provided "damage control advice" to disgraced Hollywood rapist Harvey Weinstein, could take his place after the midterms.

White House Denies Biden’s Policies Are Causing Inflation

(CNSNews.com) - White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre denied Tuesday that President Biden’s policies are causing inflation, instead continuing to blame the high price of gas on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s war with Ukraine.

“In some place in this country now, a gallon of gas costs more than people on the federal minimum wage are making in an hour. What does the White House want these people to do just stop driving to work?” Fox News White House Correspondent Peter Doocy asked.

JEAN-PIERRE: The president understands what it feels like. Deese just spoke about this. Brian Deese was just here and talked about how he understands what it means for people who are sitting at their kitchen table and see gas prices go up. He understands that feeling personally or seeing prices of grocery store– of groceries go up in the grocery store.

This is something that he is inherently aware of, and he is doing everything that he can as Deese - Brian Deese was just here - his economic adviser, one of his top economic adviser, laying out what he is planning to do or continuing to do to make sure that we lower costs at the gas pump.

He also said, Brian also said that we are dealing with an unprecedented time with global challenges that we have never seen before, and that includes, clearly, the pandemic.

That includes Putin’s tax hike that we’re seeing this past couple of months that has had an effect on gasoline prices - a dollar and 50 cents went up since Putin has amassed his troops on the border of Ukraine. These are real global issues that has led to this moment, but the president is doing everything that he can to make sure that we address this issue.

DOOCY: You just mentioned Putin a few times as a reason for recent inflation. Do you guys think that any part of inflation this year is because of President Biden’s spending plans or is it all Putin’s fault?

JEAN-PIERRE: What I can say is we are - and Brian just spoke to this - we are at a historic place when it comes to the economy, when it comes to unemployment being at the lowest that we’ve seen in some time, when it comes to the president creating more jobs in his first term, his first year, than any other president - more than 8.5 million jobs.

Now we’re going to a place where we’re going into transition, where we’re going to see an economy that’s more stable, that’s more steady. So that’s because of the American Rescue Plan that the president signed into law that no Republican signed– voted for, I should say, and all of that work in his first year has led us to a place where there are more jobs out there - more jobs are being created - that we are in a place where we’re seeing economic growth.

Now - and also, as I’ve stated, this is an unprecedented time with COVID. This is an unprecedented time with the war, and so that Putin has created and started on Ukraine, and so we have seen, data has shown us since these past couple of months, since the war, we have seen an uptick in gas prices.

DOOCY: So I guess the nice question would be does President Biden take any responsibility for his policies potentially contributing to inflation?

JEAN-PIERRE: His policies has helped the economy get back on its feet. That’s what his policies has done. This– when we talk about the gas prices right now, this indeed Putin’s gas hike. This is what we have seen in the most recent months of what we’ve seen at the gas pump, and so that is a fact.

We’ve seen about 60 percent increase in the past several months because of the amassing and his invasion of Ukraine, and so the president– his goal right now, and what he is frustrated about is what the American people have to go through and what they are trying to deal with as they are around their kitchen table. So that is his focus right now.

Report: Joe Biden Blames Aides for 40-Year-High Inflation

President Joe Biden reportedly blamed his staff for 40-year-high inflation, the Washington Post reported Wednesday.

As Bidenflation will cost American households on average an extra $5,200 in 2022, or $433 per month, according to Bloomberg, Biden has reportedly become unhappy rising prices are hurting his political position.

Instead of taking responsibility for the price hikes, Biden has reportedly shifted the blame to aides for not confronting the spike in costs partly generated by his own fiscal and energy policies.

“Biden has privately grumbled to top White House officials over the administration’s handling of inflation, expressing frustration over the past several months that aides were not doing enough to confront the problem directly,” the Post reported.

This week, instead of altering fiscal and energy policies, the White House decided to mount a public relations blitz to bunt inflation’s political damage on the Democrat Party.

As a part of the PR campaign, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen on Tuesday directly admitted during a press interview that she and the president had failed to accurately assess that inflation would clime to a 40-year-high. The White House claimed in 2021 that inflation was “transitory.”

“Well, look, I think I was wrong then about the path that inflation would take. As I mentioned, there have been unanticipated and large shocks to the economy that have boosted energy and food prices and supply bottlenecks that have affected our economy badly that I didn’t — at the time didn’t fully understand,” Yellen acknowledged. “But we recognize that now.”

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) reported in May that inflation will continue to hurt American workers into 2023.

A CBS poll in May revealed that 69 percent of Americans say the state of Biden’s economy is “bad,” which is up six points from April and twenty-three points from April 2021.

President Joe Biden may be considering a shakeup of the White House staff as his approval rating has fallen to record lows and the administration has failed to win the public's confidence on its handling of a number of crises, NBC News reported Tuesday.

Biden has faulted his staff for their inability to come up with a winning message ahead of the midterms, sources close to the White House told NBC News. He's also accused staff of undermining him by walking back his statements immediately after he makes them. The White House has consistently had to clarify Biden's remarks; on three occasions staff walked back the president's commitment to come to Taiwan's defense against a Chinese invasion.

Biden has also reportedly complained about being ill-prepared to address the crises that have eroded his popularity. He is "annoyed that he wasn’t alerted sooner about the baby formula shortage and that he got his first briefing in the past month, even though the crisis had long been in the making," according to NBC News.

The administration's challenges, including record inflation, supply shortages, legislative gridlock, and foreign policy failures, have helped bring the president's approval rating on par with his predecessor, a fact that one source told NBC News has Biden "really twisted."

According to the report, sources speculate that Biden may overhaul the White House staff, though such a shakeup would not be immediate. The most likely White House official to depart, according to NBC News, is Chief of Staff Ron Klain, whom several sources said is slated to leave after the midterms.

The White House pushed back against NBC News's report, telling the outlet Biden is not frustrated with his staff but is pushing "to make a sharper case for all that we have accomplished thus far."

Damage Control: Harvey Weinstein Adviser in Line To Become White House Chief of Staff

Post-midterm shakeup likely as Biden's presidency flounders

Anita Dunn, the senior Biden aide best known for providing "damage control" advice to disgraced Hollywood rapist Harvey Weinstein, is in line to take over as White House chief of staff after the midterm elections, NBC News reports.

Dunn is widely considered to be a "potential successor" to Ron Klain, the current White House chief of staff who several people close to Biden told NBC News was planning to "depart at some point after the midterms." A longtime public relations guru whose firm, SKDK, has represented an array of corporate clients seeking relief from the anti-business policies Democrats routinely enact when they hold power, Dunn played a leading role in Biden's presidential campaign and served several months as White House communications adviser.

Earlier this year, Dunn secretly rejoined the White House as a "special government employee" to help Biden prepare for his State of the Union address and overhaul the administration's bumbling response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The move raised concern among ethics experts, who noted that the temporary nature of the assignment exempted Dunn from most White House ethics requirements. For example, she did not have to file a public financial disclosure that would have revealed information about her SKDK clients and how much they were paying for her strategic advice.

"This is a person who is appointed in and out of alternating roles, between being a public official with significant influence over administration policy and a private adviser, creating the appearance of being an influence peddler," Walter Shaub, former director of the Office of Government Ethics, told the Washington Post in March.

At the time Dunn was one of at least nine former SKDK employees working in the Biden administration. Now she is one of at least nine of the firm's existing employees who previously served in the federal government. During the 2020 campaign, Biden promised to restore decency to the White House and put an end to the self-dealing and lobbyist influence that, in his view, ran rampant during the Donald Trump administration.

If Dunn ultimately does end up replacing Klain as White House chief of staff, the ethics experts will continue to express concern, but the administration is unlikely to care. NBC News writes that Biden views his former adviser as a "confidant whom he often turns to when his fortunes look bleak." And his fortunes certainly look bleak. Another person mentioned as a possible successor to Klain was Steve Ricchetti. The longtime Biden adviser is the brother of Jeff Ricchetti, an influential lobbyist whose firm, Ricchetti Inc., has experienced an influx of business since Biden took office. Imagine that!

Dunn's reputation as the Democratic Party's foremost crisis communications expert is presumably what prompted Weinstein to contact her for "damage control advice" in 2017 as the New York Times was preparing to publish a story exposing his history of sexual misconduct. According to a statement released by her firm, Dunn had been "asked to speak with [Weinstein] by a friend," and was not paid for her advice. She was presumably familiar with Weinstein, who had donated nearly $600,000 to Democratic candidates and committees since the early 2000s.

In addition to advising the Hollywood rapist, Dunn is best known for expressing admiration for the political philosophy of Mao Zedong, the founder of Chinese communism whose brutal regime was responsible for the deaths of at least 65 million people.

Jesse Watters: The Biden family business

Schweizer added, “We also now know that Hunter Biden did these deals, but the larger family benefited. We know that James Biden, Joe Biden’s brother, got at least $2 million of that money from China. We also now know that Hunter Biden was subsidizing his father’s lifestyle. He was paying for his bills. He was paying for renovations on his home up in Delaware while Joe Biden was Vice President of the United States. It’s not only illegal according to ethics laws. It also shows that Joe Biden is now a beneficiary of the foreign dealings that Hunter Biden has had. It’s no longer good enough for him to say, well, I didn’t have anything involved. He was a beneficiary.” PAM KEY

GOP Rep. Issa: Hunter Biden Business Dealings ‘Can’t Be Explained in Any Way Except a Payoff’

1:29

In an interview on Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) reacted to a report that President Joe Biden’s son Hunter utilized burner phone applications to conduct his business and personal affairs.

Issa argued that although there was a “false narrative” pushed about former President Donald Trump being “too cozy with Russia,” Hunter Biden raked in “millions from the mayor of Moscow.” The California Republican suggested the younger Biden profiting from the mayor “can’t be explained in any way except a payoff to him.”

“[L]et’s remember one thing — if something works, you keep doing it. Hunter Biden made $11 million off of his father’s name and reputation. And now he is an artist making millions more selling art while his father is the president. So, if a con works, you do it.”

“In this [Michael Sussmann] case, it worked not only to have this false narrative but to continue with it throughout the entire Trump administration,” he continued. “Most people in America today have this sort of a whiff of was Trump too cozy with Russia, when in fact it was Hunter Biden that got millions from the mayor of Moscow that can’t be explained in any way except a payoff to him for being the son of his father.”

Report: Hunter Biden Utilized Burner Phone Apps from 2014 to 2018

Hunter Biden reportedly utilized burner phone apps from 2014 to 2018 to conduct personal and business affairs.

Hunter’s utilization of the secretive forms of communication occurred during the same years he conducted many business transactions while Joe Biden was in top U.S. government positions. From 2013 through 2018, Hunter earned $11 million from Burisma Holdings and from his partnership with a Chinese energy company.

The burner phone apps were discovered on Hunter’s laptop, Konstantinos “Gus” Dimitrelos, a former Secret Service agent and cyber forensics expert, told the Washington Examiner after examining Hunter’s “laptop from hell.”

Breitbart News’s Emma-Jo Morris initially authenticated Hunter’s laptop in the fall of 2020 while she was working with the New York Post. In March of 2021, the establishment media finally authenticated the laptop.

“The file contained over 2,000 purchases by Robert Hunter Biden and dozens of purchases of burner phone apps, which are used to generate alternate phone numbers capable of making calls and texting from a primary mobile device such as an iPhone or iPad,” Dimitrelos said.

Dimitrelos assembled a report detailing Hunter’s careful use of the secretive forms of communication. Dimitrelos said Hunter’s laptop showed 39 purchase transactions of burner phone apps between 2015 and 2018.

“In addition to buying burner phone apps, there is evidence on the MacBook Pro hard drive that Phoner was used to record a call and save the audio file titled Recording.mp3,” the report continued.

It is unknown the extent to which Hunter used the secretive forms of communication or whether it will lead investigators to charge the president’s son with tax fraud, money laundering, and violation of lobbying laws. Hunter and his attorney are reportedly trying to settle the case out of court with the Justice Department.

However, Hunter’s burner phone apps were reportedly used for Hunter’s personal communication, along with texts to Joe Biden about his financial situation.

According to text messages from 2019, Hunter revealed the corrupt Biden family payout mechanism. The mechanism indicates a collection of 50 percent of familial salaries for 30 years.

“I hope you all can do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family for 30 years,” Hunter texted to his daughter. “It’s really hard. But don’t worry, unlike Pop [Joe], I won’t make you give me half your salary.”

The Biden family’s payment mechanism of collecting 50 percent of family salaries for 30 years could be legal “predicates” for racketeering charges, former Utah U.S. attorney Brett Tolman believes.

Most Americans believe the Bidens’ corrupt business practices are worrisome, an April Harris poll revealed. Fifty-eight percent believe Joe Biden has indeed played a role in his family’s business. Sixty percent say Hunter has sold “influence and access” to Joe Biden. The poll also showed that 67 percent believe Joe Biden should be impeached if he “secretly participated [in] and facilitated” the family’s business.

The family of former Vice President Joe Biden has earned millions of dollars since the start of his political career, often from dealings with heavy political overtones.

The book, titled Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive Elite., lays out how Hunter Biden and his business partners, in addition to his numerous Rosemont-branded entities and ventures, was deeply involved with an entity called the Burnham Financial Group.

In short, Hunter Biden was not cutting business deals in Japan or Great Britain, where disclosure rules and corporate governance might require greater scrutiny. These were deals in the truly dark corners of the world.      KATRINA WONG

Eight Things to Know About the Biden Family’s Culture of Corruption

HARIS ALIC

The family of former Vice President Joe Biden has earned millions of dollars since the start of his political career, often from dealings with heavy political overtones.

Biden, the frontrunner among 2020 Democrats, often touts his middle-class bonafides on the campaign trail. Although Biden did not become a multi-millionaire until he left the White House in 2017, the same cannot be said of his family. In fact, several members of the Biden clan became immensely wealthy over the span of the former vice president’s 40-year political career.

Breitbart News is providing an in-depth breakdown of a few instances in which Joe Biden’s political career and his family’s financial interests seemed to intersect.

1. Joe Biden’s younger brother, James Biden, secured generous bank loans.

In the wake of Joe Biden’s upset election to the U.S. Senate in 1972, his younger brother James was able to secure a series of generous bank loans to start a Delaware night club.

Although James Biden had no business experience and a net worth of less than $10,000 at the time, he was able to arrange more than $160,000 in start-up capital for the venture. When the nightclub proved to be unsuccessful, generating more than $500,000 of debt by 1975, James Biden and his business partners were thrown a life-line by a Pennsylvania bank that loaned him a further $300,000.

During the same time period James Biden was receiving the extensive lines of credit, Joe Biden was sitting on the Senate Banking Committee, which had purview over the financial sector. A specific jurisdiction of the committee was the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), which provides bailouts to banks if they should become over-leveraged.

2. Joe Biden’s top campaign contributor hired his youngest son Hunter right out of law school.

Shortly after Joe Biden was reelected to the U.S. Senate in 1996, his largest campaign contributor, the credit card issuer MBNA Corp., hired his son for an undisclosed role. The job raised eyebrows from good government groups because MBNA employees had just donated $63,000 to Joe Biden’s reelection campaign in what appeared to be a coordinatedmanner to sidestep federal campaign finance regulations.

Clouding the picture even further was that, at the time, Hunter Biden was a 26-year-old recent graduate of Yale Law School with no prior banking or business experience. Both father and son defended the job offer, claiming nothing improper had or would result because of the arrangement.

“Unfortunately, no matter where I went to work, some people would make an issue of it,” the younger Biden told the Delaware News Journal in November 1996 when the job was announced.

Despite his role being unknown at the time of his hiring, when Hunter Biden left the company in 1998 to join the Clinton-era Commerce Department it was as a senior vice president.

Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, Joe Biden was championing bankruptcy reform legislation endorsed by financial interests and credit card companies like MBNA.

3. An MBNA executive purchased Biden’s house for the full asking price in a deal that appeared facilitated by the company.

A senior MBNA executive purchased Biden’s 10,000 square foot colonial mansion in the Wilmington, Delaware, suburbs for the asking price of $1.2 million in February 1996. The sale garnered notice because larger and newer homes in the vicinity sold for less. The issue became a minor campaign problem for Biden’s reelection but was quickly dismissed when the senator provided local media appraisal forms showing his home was worth the value for what it was sold.

Byron York, however, investigated the matter in an exposĂŠ for the American Spectator and found that properties appraised around the same value in the vicinity had “sold for a good deal less” than at what they were valued on paper.

“In comparison, it appears [the MBNA executive] simply paid Biden’s full asking price,” York wrote. “And, according to people familiar with the situation, the house needed quite a bit of work; contractors and their trucks descended on the house for months after the purchase.”

As York also noted, it appeared that MBNA may have played a role in facilitating the purchase. Documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission show that “in 1996 MBNA reimbursed [the executive] $330,115 for expenses arising from the move.” Of that total, $210,000 “was to make up for a loss [the executive] suffered on the sale of his Maryland home.”

4. Hunter Biden remained on MBNA’s payroll while Joe Biden was writing bankruptcy reform legislation.

Throughout the early 2000s, Hunter Biden remained on MBNA’s payroll as a consultant while his father was writing and pushing the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005. The arrangement, which did not become public until after the law was passed, started in 2001 after Hunter Biden had left his position in the Commerce Dept. MBNA was paid monthly consulting fees, with some claiming they ranged upwards of $100,000, to advise the company on online banking issues.

The 2005 bankruptcy tightened regulations to make it extremely more difficult to declare bankruptcy. It was heavily favored by MBNA and other giants in the banking and finance sectors. Many consumer protection advocates, including Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), have claimed the bill benefited special interests at the expense of consumers. Some have even suggested the law only served to hasten and aggravate the recession of the late 2000s.

As previously reported by the New York Times, Biden worked against many of his own fellow Democrats in Congress to ensure the final version of the bill was free of provisions opposed by companies like MBNA.

Biden “was one of five Democrats in March 2005 who voted against a proposal to require credit card companies to provide more effective warnings to consumers about the consequences of paying only the minimum amount due each month,” the Times noted.

5. Joe Biden paid his family members with campaign cash.

During his failed 2008 presidential campaign, Joe Biden paid more than $2 million to his family members and their business. According to the Washington Times, the money went to a company that was a long-time employer of Biden’s sister, Valerie Biden Owens. Biden also directed funds to a law firm started by his old campaign treasurer, which at the time also employed his youngest son Hunter.

6. James and Hunter Biden sought to monetize off Joe Biden’s political standing.

In 2006, close to when Joe Biden assumed the chairmanship of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and launched his second presidential campaign, James and Hunter Biden purchased a hedge fund called Paradigm Global Advisors. Although neither man had a strong background in finance, James and Hunter Biden reportedly believed they could leverage Joe Biden’s political connections to their benefits.

“Don’t worry about investors,” James Biden purportedly told Paradigm’s senior leadership upon taking over the fund, as reported by Politico. “We’ve got people all around the world who want to invest in Joe Biden.”

Paradigm’s executives claim that James and Hunter Biden saw the hedge fund as a way to “take money from rich foreigners who could not legally give money” to Joe Biden’s campaign account.

“We’ve got investors lined up in a line of 747s filled with cash ready to invest in this company,” James Biden allegedly told Paradigm’s staff.

Hunter and James also tried to solicit labor unions to invest their pension funds in Paradigm by relying on Joe Biden’s long record of advocating in favor of collective bargaining.

The efforts proved to unsuccessful, though, with James and Hunter Biden choosing to strip and sell the company off by 2010 after a number of bad decisions, including partnering with a Ponzi scheme.

7. James Biden’s received a $1.5 billion contract to build houses in Iraq while Joe Biden was overseeing the region.

After his foray into the world of high finance ended disastrously, James Biden joinedHillstone International LLC as a vice president in 2010. The company, a subsidiary of Hill International, at the time, was pursuing technology and construction projects around the globe.

Although the company had been losing money for some time, James Biden’s arrival resulted in something of a reversal in fortune. Within six months of James Biden joining the firm, Hillstone was the recipient of $1.5 billion dollar contract to build 100,000 houses in war-torn Iraq. The deal, which was never finalized because outside funding failed to materialize, quickly caught attention as Joe Biden was overseeing the Obama administration’s policy in the region.

Both the Obama White House and Hillstone denied Joe Biden had anything to do with the deal, pointing to the fact the contract was awarded through a South Korean group working to build homes in Iraq. Despite the denials, Irvin Richter, the founder of Hill International, did admit James Biden may have had something to do with the deal.

“Listen, his name helps him get in the door, but it doesn’t help him get business,” Richter told Fox Business in 2012 when discussing James Biden. “People who have important names tend to get in the door easier but it doesn’t mean success. If he had the name Obama he would get in the door easier.”

Complicating matters was the fact James Biden was likely to get rich if the deal went through. Fox Business reported that a group of minority partners, which included James Biden, owned 49 percent of Hillstone. The other 51 percent was owned by the company’s parent group, Hill International. Given Hillstone’s profit breakdown structure, James Biden and the other minority partners would have been eligible to split more than $735 million after the deal was completed

8. Hunter Biden’s firm scored a $1.5 billion deal with the Bank of China only days after Joe Biden and his youngest son visited the country.

Peter Schweizer, a senior contributor at Breitbart News, revealed in his bestselling book Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends that Hunter Biden’s firm signed a multi-billion dollar with a subsidiary of the state-owned Bank of China only ten days after he visited the country with his father aboard Air Force Two.

In a SiriusXM Breitbart News Tonight radio interview from last year, Schweizer explained how the Biden-China deal unfolded:

“In December of 2013, Vice President Joe Biden flies to Asia for a trip, and the centerpiece for that trip is a visit to Beijing, China,” said Schweizer. “To put this into context, in 2013, the Chinese have just exerted air rights over the South Pacific, the South China Sea. They basically have said, ‘If you want to fly in this area, you have to get Chinese approval. We are claiming sovereignty over this territory.’ Highly controversial in Japan, in the Philippines, and in other countries. Joe Biden is supposed to be going there to confront the Chinese. Well, he gets widely criticized on that trip for going soft on China. So basically, no challenging them, and Japan and other countries are quite upset about this.”

REVIEW: ‘Laptop from Hell: Hunter Biden, Big Tech, and the Dirty Secrets the President Tried to Hide’

Alana Goodman • December 19, 2021 5:00 am

SHARE

In the spring of 2019, in between bouts of crack smoking and trysts with prostitutes, living out of hotels and stinking of smoke and booze, Hunter Biden made a strangely lucid decision. He got in a car, drove to a computer service shop, and dropped off his laptop for repair. The next day, he returned to give the clerk an external hard drive so that the contents could be extracted. Then he never came back.

Why Hunter decided to take his computer to a repairman (and ultimately abandon it) two weeks before his father's presidential announcement, rather than just buy a new one, could be an interesting puzzle for Freudian theorists. But out of that fateful decision comes Miranda Devine's fascinating book Laptop from Hell: Hunter Biden, Big Tech, and the Dirty Secrets the President Tried to Hide.

Devine's gripping account of the Biden family's sleazy

business dealings, gleaned from the contents of Hunter's

hard drive, picks up where the New York Post‘s stellar pre-

election reporting left off.

Many of the details have been reported before in bits and pieces. Devine weaves them together with new direct reporting on correspondence and documents pulled from the laptop and puts them in context with what was happening at the time with Joe Biden's vice presidency and presidential run.

The book is a devastating chronicle of

political corruption. From Ukraine to

Mexico to China, Hunter Biden's private

correspondence shows how he and his

family leveraged his father's position to win

high-paying, low-work gigs with shady

foreign actors—and how Joe's official

actions at times directly benefited his

family's financial backers.

At best, Joe Biden comes off as a hapless father who facilitates his son's clearly unethical moneymaking schemes. At worst, and as some of Hunter's texts and emails suggest, Joe was a knowing participant and beneficiary of the family business.

The fact that Hunter's market value was derived from his

father's position seemed to be a source of resentment for

the younger Biden, even as he continued to cash in on the

name. Hunter complained in texts to his daughter that he

had financially supported the Biden clan for three decades

and that "pop" takes a cut of "half [my] salary." Financia

records and correspondence reported on by Devine

indicate that money from Hunter's business accounts was

used to cover Joe's AT&T bill and home maintenance

expenses and that a portion of at least one major China

deal was earmarked for the elder Biden.

As the 2020 presidential election approached, Hunter's correspondence sounded more and more like the impotent protests of middle Corleone brother Fredo in The Godfather Part II: "I can handle things! I'm smart! Not like everybody says, like dumb. I'm smart and I want respect!"

He sent long, passive-aggressive missives to his father.

"Your vision of me being a hapless degenerate drunken crackhead is so unbelievably hurtful," Hunter lashed out at Joe in a series of texts in July 2019. "For twenty years [it] has felt like you just needed me to go to my bedroom and be quiet while the grownups talk."

"I love you all. But I don't receive any respect," Hunter complained in an email to his daughter.

Unlike Fredo, Hunter would be shielded from the consequences of his destructive acts. So would the Biden family. After the computer repairman turned over the abandoned hard drive to the FBI (and then to Rudy Giuliani, who passed it to the New York Post), the legacy press and social media companies mounted an all-out suppression campaign against the Post‘s reporting, ensuring that the story was snuffed out before the election.

The lack of consequences was interestingly predicted by Hunter's lawyer, George Mesires, in a 2018 text message found on the laptop. Mesires sought to reassure the younger Biden that news of his Chinese deals would be brushed away by most of the press.

"At the end of the day," Mesires told Hunter, "I think people will jadedly say ‘this is how the world works.'"

There it is.  That's the issue.  To begin, you have the corrupt family Biden.  They've been scamming us and our system well for almost fifty years.  The man is supposedly worth over 250 million dollars.  How is this possible on his salary?  It's not.  So where did his wealth come from?  Not from being a brilliant businessman. DAVID PRENTICE

Joe Biden didn’t do anything wrong? A time-honored method of taking bribes is having them paid to a family member, usually in exchange for nominal or nonexistent services. It is comical to watch “reporters” pretend not to understand this.

 MONICA SHOWALTER

There’s also the little problem of Hillary’s incredible corruption (making her and Biden birds of a feather). And of course, the fact that Hillary’s unsecure server damaged national security in a way that would have seen an ordinary, politically unconnected person spend the rest of her life in prison—which, not coincidentally, is where Papa Joe belongs for using his debauched son Hunter as the bagman for decades of anti-American corruption

                                                                    ANDREA WIDBURG

From April 2020 to April 2021, more than 100,000 Americans died from drug overdoses, according to data from the National Center for Health Statistics. An overwhelming majority of those deaths came from opioids, and fentanyl smuggling has surged at the southern border since the start of Joe Biden's presidency.     Joseph Simonson and Collin Anderson

“Joe Biden is great on immigration. I guess depends on your perspective. If you’re a human trafficker, or drug dealer, you’d give him an A-plus, but theAmerican people would give him an F. The crisis at our border was not only entirely predictable, it was predicted. I predicted that if you campaign all year long on open borders, amnesty, and health care for illegals, you’re going to get more migrants at the border. That’s what’s happened since the election.” SEN. TOM COTTON

Many Democrats understand that the welfare checks for foreign children will encourage more illegal immigration, he said:

They know what’s going on. But they know that they can’t say what their true goal is, which is actual open borders with open, uncontrolled migration both ways. And this is a step toward getting rid of borders.

“It’s a globalist mindset and it welcomes anything that moves toward open borders,” he concluded. NEIL MUNRO

“Protect and enrich.” This is a perfect encapsulation of the Clinton Foundation and the Obama book and television deals. Then there is the Biden family corruption, followed closely behind by similar abuses of power and office by the Warren and Sanders families, as Peter Schweizer described in his recent book “Profiles in Corruption.” These names just scratch the surface of government corruption.    BRIAN C JOONDEPH

What’s really baffling is Hunter’s success with women. Despite being a total loser with a terrible drug habit and some weird sexual perversions, Hunter managed to seduce his brother’s widow, her sister, a stripper, and the woman he married, all over the course of four years.

NEIL MUNRO

Most recently and dramatically, Biden lied about his knowledge of his son's shady dealings,  lied about his own involvement in corruption and ribery, and lied about his current presidential agenda and what he wants to implement in regards to energy, fracking, court-packing, health care, education, and COVID among other issues.

THE BIDEN KLEPTOCRACY

American people deserve to know what China was up to with Joe Biden, especially when Beijing had already shelled out millions of dollars to Biden family members — including millions in set-asides for “the big guy.” What else is on that infamous Hunter Biden laptop? The conflicted Biden Justice Department cannot be trusted to engage in any meaningful oversight on this issue. We need a special counsel now.

Corrupti-looza: Biden family wastes no time profiting from public office

By Monica Showalter

In one-party states such as the old PRI-ruled Mexico, the stealing tended to start late. Before a Mexican president was escorted out for the next, he and his would sweep the presidential palace for everything not nailed down -- the lightbulbs, the toilet seats, the doorknobs and more. There were exceptions, but it was generally the known narrative. In more than one Latin American country, the last-minute asset grab on the way out actually had a name -- "La Pinata." After all, as former PRI mayor of Mexico City, Carlos Hank Gonzalez, used to say: "A politician who's poor is a poor politician."

Which brings us to Joe Biden, and his family's unusually fast scramble to profit from his public office right out the gate.

Son Hunter still has his 10% China equity fund stake, contrary to what had been reported, and a new art gig just perfect for bringing in money from non-transparent sources, as the New York Post, in this excellent report notes, all because his blow-pipe 'art' done as his personal art therapy is somehow so very valuable.

Brother Frank, meanwhile, is advertising his connections to old Joe for Florida law firm he's connected with, using Joe's name in a bid to drum up business. As New York Post columnist Michael Goodwin reported:

The latest sordid example involves one of Joe’s younger brothers, Frank Biden, appearing in a Florida law firm’s ad — on Inauguration Day no less. The ad used the president’s name to draw attention to the Berman Law Group’s class-action suit against sugar cane growers.

“The two Biden brothers have long held a commitment to pushing environmental issues to the forefront,” says the ad. “The president-elect has vowed to rejoin the Paris Agreement and wants to set ambitious greenhouse gas reduction targets.”

The ad, first reported by CNBC, appeared in the Daily Business Review and carried a picture of Frank Biden and quotes him saying, “My brother is a model for how to go about doing this work.”

How touching. And shameless.

Brother James hasn't changed any, still under federal investigation for a hospital company that feds say isn't being run properly.

Bidens of all sorts are under federal investigation for tax evasion, money-laundering, and unregistered agent foreign ties, as this Politico report citing Hunter notes.

And it seems to be having a knock-on effect as Vice President Kamala Harris's stepdaughter, Ella Emhoff, an art student (which generally isn't the most employable of professions), has suddenly gotten a fancy modeling contract, to be a 'style icon,' which hadn't been her forte until the establishment noticed she was close to power. Now they're gushing about her, selling her as stylish as emperor's new clothes. Kamala Harris, meanwhile, might just owe someone a favor.

It's happening, Goodwin observes, because the Bidens have been doing it for decades, and never with any consequences. Now that Joe's 'the big guy' and not a mere vice president, for them it's all the better.

Which is true enough as far as it goes, but still doesn't entirely explain the speed of the influence-peddling and pocket-lining -- why, contrary to the Mexican and Latin American model -- did the rush to grab money start on day one?

With these questionable acts starting early -- despite Joe's call to brother Frank to 'watch yourself,' what seems a distinct possibility is that the family members think the gig is not going to last so the time to act is now.

Maybe they're betting Joe isn't going to last for one reason or another. That might explain why they are rushing to scarf up all they can without covering their tracks. They're like fund managers divesting a stock  --- quickly, and all at once. Fund managers buy stocks quietly and gradually on expectations the price will go up, but when they think it's heading down, they don't play around, they dump it all at once and don't care who's watching.

Even with the spotlight on, for them, it's as if the walls are closing in and Gotterdammerung is beckoning. If that's not a vote of low confidence in the durability of Joe and his presidency, what really is?

Report– Joe Biden Warned Brother Frank: ‘For Christ’s Sake, Watch Yourself’

CHARLIE SPIERING

President Joe Biden cautioned his brother Frank about potential business dealings during his campaign for president, according to a report.

“For Christ’s sake, watch yourself,” Biden said according to a report in Politico. “Don’t get sucked into something that would, first of all, hurt you.”

Politico cited a “person with knowledge of the conversation” in its report and said that Biden was “jocular and serious” in his comment to his brother.

Biden’s intention, Politico reports, was to protect his brother from “being hurt and vilified” because of his connections to the president.

Since Biden’s inauguration, questions about members of his family have been raised regarding their business dealings, especially after Republicans questioned his son Hunter Biden’s business deals with foreign countries during the campaign.

Frank Biden’s law firm, The Berman Law Group, promoted his relationship to President Biden in an advertisement on Inauguration Day.

“The two Biden brothers have long held a commitment to pushing environmental issues to the forefront; the president-elect has vowed to rejoin the Paris Agreement and wants to set ambitious greenhouse gas reduction targets, for example,” the ad read.

A White House official responded to the story by warning that Joe Biden’s name should not be used in any commercial advertisement.

“It is this White House’s policy that the President’s name should not be used in connection with any commercial activities to suggest, or in any way that could reasonably understood to imply, his endorsement or support,” the official told CNBC in January.

Worst. President. Ever.

Derek Hunter

Try to imagine a President doing a worse job than Joe Biden. Think about how that would even be possible. Would they have to set the White House on fire while vomiting on Boris Johnson? Maybe a President in a Nyquil-induced stupor trying to start a nuclear war with Canada? Jimmy Carter on his worst day couldn’t hold a candle Joe Biden on his best, provided Biden ends up having a best day.

Remember this one: “I’m gonna ask the public for 100 days to mask, just 100 days to mask. Not forever, 100 days. And I think we’ll see a significant reduction if we occur that, if, if, if, if that occurs with vaccinations and masking to drive down the numbers considerably, considerably”? That was Joe Biden 1 year ago Friday, part of his “plan” he swore he had to “shutdown the virus.” How’d that work out again?

Has there ever been a bigger disconnect between what a candidate for President promised and what they delivered? It’s not even that Biden tried and failed, it’s that the entire premise of his campaign was a lie. He had no plan, he had no clue. All he had was an objective and handlers determined to get him there, for their own reasons.

It’s unclear to me that Joe Biden ever wanted anything more than the trappings that go with being President of the United States – the house, the being waited on hand and foot, and most importantly to a career politician with wild insecurity and unrivaled narcissism like Joe, the guarantee of being remembered. Senators are forgotten, quickly, Presidents are remembered forever. Someone who loves themselves as much as Joe does, who desperately needs others to love him just as much, that matters.

There’s also the added bonus that former Democratic Party Presidents are showered with money after their term, often times by the industries they pretended to “fight” when they were running. And Joe Biden loves money. He made a bunch after his stint as Vice President on the prospect that he would run in 2020 (leftists hedge their bets and spread their money around). That’s, of course, in addition to the millions his family raked in through Hunter’s string of jobs and contracts for which he was wildly unqualified. Joe pretends he isn’t, but he’s all about the money.

But to get to the rewards of being a former Democrat President, those Presidents tend to want to accomplish some things; they usually believe in things. Joe Biden believes in nothing. His biggest, and really only accomplishment in the Senate was the 1994 crime bill and he had to denounce it because Democrats had gone from being against crime and supporting police to supporting criminals and wanting to defund police.

On abortion, Biden changed his tune completely as well. There isn’t a person serving his administration, either in the White House or the media, who won’t insist Joe labored between running for President or becoming Pope, such a devout Catholic is he. And in his time in the Senate he used to pretend to be personally against abortion, but refused to allow his religious beliefs to dictate his policy positions. It was and is BS, but many politicians play this game (looking at you, Nancy Pelosi).

Now, he’s no longer pretending. The party of “safe, legal, and rare” abortions is now the party of abortions for everyone, on demand, with no restrictions on when. It won’t be long, maybe 5 years, before they start advocating post-birth abortions, taxpayer funded, of course. That’s where Democrats are now, so that’s where Joe Biden is now. Biden is such a weathervane on everything, and always has been, that he’d perform abortions in the White House if that’s what the fringe of his party demanded.

With no moral code, no center, nothing matters. You just read what’s in the teleprompter and hit the sack by 7:00 while your degenerate son collects piles of cash for the family until you’re free to do it on your own. All you have to do is what you’re told, your handlers and the media will take care of the rest.

That Joe Biden hasn’t come close to fulfilling any campaign promises, or even that those promises were made, is a testament to what he was willing to do to get the job. Just imagine what he’s willing to do to keep it. Even scarier, just imagine how much worse things have the potential of getting as he works to do just that.
