Rep. Keller: Biden's plans for US strategic oil reserves 'a bad political decision'
The Housing Bubble Bursting as Permits Crash (and Builders are Desperate to Cash Out)

A defining expression of this crisis is the dominance of financial speculation and parasitism, to the point where a narrow international financial aristocracy plunders society’s resources in order to further enrich itself.
Housing Crash Begins! We Just Witnessed Something That Hasn’t Happened Since 2008
“The general tone was set by the New York Times in its lead editorial on
Wednesday, which described the speech as a “simple, dramatic message
about economic fairness, about the fact that the well-off—the top
earners, the big banks, Silicon Valley—have done just great, while
middle and working classes remain dead in the water.”
Another day, another outrageous lie from the Biden regime
The Biden administration, along with many in the media, have been feeding the public the fiction that the economy is strong, and families are thriving despite the massive inflation they have caused.
It has been obvious for a long time, with credit card debt rising, savings rates declining, and more than 50% living paycheck-to-paycheck, that there are significant problems — and now we see that people are borrowing for daily expenses, including food:
‘Buy now, pay later’ services, which allow consumers to pay for goods in installments, often without interest, have become increasingly common for food purchases
Josh Roberts didn’t think twice about taking out a loan to pay for groceries. It was early in the pandemic, and he was making $16.50 an hour working for a technology company in Cincinnati while supporting his sister and her girlfriend.
‘We were just not making enough to live,’ he said.
So he started buying groceries online using a virtual credit card from Klarna, a ‘buy now, pay later’ service that allowed him to break payments into smaller installments that could be made over several weeks, with no interest.
As the Democrats and their media cohorts continue to push a false narrative, it becomes clearer and clearer this is all a façade — there is an intentional goal, and that is economic destruction.
The government has operated on a buy now, pay later system forever. That is how we find ourselves $30 trillion in debt, which continues to run up as a truly nauseating rate.
Here are the only three facts people need to see that prove this is all a fraud and a scam:
We constantly hear that the proposed entitlement and other spending programs are paid for, yet with record taxation, we are still in incomprehensible debt.
The Democrats continually lied to get Obamacare passed — the first lie being that it would substantially lower costs, and the second that it would reduce the deficit. One of the fictional pieces of this bill was that if the government took over student loans, it would bring in revenue. The government not only didn’t make money, they continue to lose money. (And that was before the vote-buying scheme known as “loan forgiveness” which is expected to cost more than $200 billion.)
When Obamacare was short of funds, Obama didn’t go to Congress for an additional appropriation. He just stole it from elsewhere, and there was no accountability regarding his abuse of power.
Student loans were always a buy now, pay later program. As colleges jacked up their prices faster than inflation, the government just kept throwing more of our money at it. Now, we are told students don’t have to pay the money back. Of course, exploitative and predatory practices on behalf of colleges aren’t the problem either.
Politicians have promised government workers generous pensions and benefits based on end-of-career salaries. These have always been buy now, pay later programs, which are massive unfunded liabilities that will be paid for by future generations.
Biden’s open border policies are buy now, pay later schemes. I have not seen him go to Congress to ask that his program to fly illegal aliens around the country be funded legally.
In the falsely named “Inflation Reduction Act” we are paying for 87,000 new IRS agents and pretending to pay for them later with additional taxes collected.
The only policies I have seen that have been paid for are the tax rate cuts of Reagan, Bush, and Trump, that not only paid for themselves but brought in substantial revenue. Of course, the media and other Democrats lie and say these policies cost the government lots of money. Facts haven’t mattered for a long time.
Summary: The Democrats are full of hot air, and the media will run cover for them.
They pretend to be responsible fiscal stewards, and any mishaps were “unexpected.” In reality, they’re waging economic war against the American people.
As for me, I proudly want to make America great again. I want capitalist policies that lift all boats, I want energy independence, and I want to welcome immigrants who come here legally to be treated well and do well. For that, I’m the extremist who wants to destroy democracy.

Report – Americans to Suffer Costly Winter with Heating, Electric Bills: ‘A Lot of Pain’
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ hilarious Martha’s Vineyard massacre of Ruling Class hypocrisy on illegal immigration is just the start: The Biden Regime can’t admit the truth about the illegal immivasion because it deliberately caused it for Great Replacement reasons. Thus when NBC’s Chuck Todd noted recently that more than 2 million illegal aliens have been apprehended this fiscal year and asked Vice President Kamala Harris about it, Biden’s “Border Czar” claimed the border was “secure,” that problems there are former President Donald Trump’s fault, and that the solution is Amnesty [Kamala Harris insists border ‘secure’ as illegal migrants set to pass 2M, by Emily Crane, New York Post, September 12, 2022]. Democrats are handing a gift to the GOP/GAP. The obvious questions: Will the party seize on it to ensure a Red Wave in November’s midterms—and will Biden’s border treason motivate them to say they will impeach Biden if and when they take back Capitol Hill?
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, herself a Third-World immigrant, affirmed Harris’ claim last week. “We are doing a lot more [than Trump] to secure the border and could be doing even more if Republicans would stop their obstruction,” she claimed. This is the same woman who said last month that no illegals were walking across the border. Jean-Pierre added that Republicans blocked funding for border security in Congress [White House says Biden ‘doing a lot more’ than Trump ‘to secure the border,’ W. James Antle III, Washington Examiner, September 13, 2022]. It’s unclear what this meant, but she’s presumably alluding to the Amnesty bill that Biden proposed in early 2021. Unlike past Amnesties, to please the Democrat Left that bill contained virtually no border security measures. Nor did it contain money for a border wall, or additional money for Border Patrol or Immigration and Customs Enforcement. It was a straight Amnesty.
That Biden officials repeatedly lie about the border invasion and the policies that caused it shows they realize how bad the issue is for them. Thus Jean-Pierre tried to mock Trump for not finishing the wall, and said Biden is doing more to erect barriers. But this is a 180-degree turn from what he promised on the campaign trail and in the early days of his tenure. Then Biden proudly bragged about stopping the wall. Now his lackeys claim he’s doing a better job of building it than Trump!
Democrats have to lie because telling the public the truth about their immigration policy would hurt them in November. The videos from the border are the best ads for Republicans. You can see illegals calmly lined up waiting to be detained as if they’re at an airport terminal. They know the “detention” is their ticket into the U.S., where they need not fear deportation. You can see illegals easily cross climb the border barrier in camouflage and easily escape detection from an undermanned Border Patrol. Even the illegals themselves insist the border is open.
This isn’t Trump’s fault, or a natural occurrence no one can stop. This is the intended result of Biden’s policies. His administration just doesn’t want to admit it due to the political backlash.
Consider what Biden has done:
- His Department of Homeland Security chief, Cuban-Jewish immigrant Alejandro Mayorkas, pledged to not deport any illegals unless they committed a very serious crime. (And he’s not even doing that.)
- Biden ended border wall construction, before deciding to resume some of the work.
- Biden ended Remain in Mexico, which kept dubious asylum seekers out of the country. Now they’re let in, no matter how phony their claim is.
- Biden wants to end public-health expulsions under Title 42, virtually the only thing keeping some enforcement at the border.
- He curtailed the ability of ICE and the Border Patrol to do their jobs, with deportations plummeting as a result.
- Biden is making it easier for immigrant public charges (those who depend on government assistance) to stay in the country [Biden Admin Is Making It Easier for Illegal Migrants on Welfare to Stay in the Country, by Jennie Taer, Daily Signal, September 8, 2022].
The results speak for themselves. Again, border agents will apprehend more than 2 million illegals by the end of the fiscal year. Another half-million illegals slipped by border agents without being apprehended—going to this trouble presumably because they know they have reason to fear even the current minimal screening. Facilities are beyond their capacity and it leads to the Biden Regime freeing illegals with just a ticket to appear in court [Migrant surge overwhelms Border Patrol and shelters in El Paso, by Julia Ainsley, NBC News, September 13, 2022].
But as Harris made clear, the Regime has no plan to stop a policy that is working as planned: flooding the country with illegals who will eventually become Democrat voters as part of The Great Replacement.
Though the leftist MSM is covering the border invasion, they don’t give it the attention it deserves. Yet voters still rank it as one of their top concerns for this election. NBC found that 26 percent of those polled say immigration is either the most important or second most important issue facing the country. That figure was nearly 10 points higher than abortion, an issue that receives far more MSM attention [NBC News survey finds 2022 midterms have entered uncharted territory, by Chuck Todd et al., August 22, 2022]. A new Wall Street Journal poll found that immigration ranks as the fourth most important issue to voters. Fifty-three percent of people surveyed said illegal immigration and the border invasion make them more likely to vote. Republicans have a strong advantage over Democrats on this issue, with voters favoring the GOP to handle the immigration system 44 percent to 29, and the border invasion specifically, 49-23 [Wall Street Journal Poll: Immigration’s a Driver in the Midterms, by Andrew R. Arthur, Center for Immigration Studies, September 7, 2022].
As well, voters don’t like Democrats’ Open Border policies. Fifty-three percent of those polled say there is an “invasion” at the border. Support for immigration and Amnesty has sharply declined. In 2018, three-quarters said “immigrants are an important part of our American identity.” That number now stands at 56 percent. That same year, 65 percent said they support giving legal status to illegals—now that number stands at 51 percent. Additionally, a larger number of Americans support building a wall, 46 percent, versus 38 percent in 2018. Significantly, Republicans are more likely to view immigrants with skepticism. Thirty-nine percent of Republicans say immigrants are more likely to commit crime, 56 percent say they’re more likely to use welfare, and 60 percent say America’s fentanyl comes from illegal-alien drug smugglers. These statements are either true or not far off the mark, but National Public Radio labeled them false and blamed “misinformation” for why so many Americans aren’t thrilled with immigration.
Or maybe Americans draw their own conclusions when they see the hordes crossing our border, the drug deaths in their towns, and the illegals bused and flown into the heartland on the taxpayer dime.
Most Republican candidates seem aware the issue is a political gift and are campaigning on it. The leftist America’s Voice conducted a study on the matter and found that the border invasion is a common element in GOP campaign ads. The group, in extremely outraged terms, found three common themes:
The Biden administration has created “open borders,” undocumented immigrants are responsible for fentanyl overdoses and a full-blown “invasion” is underway.
[In GOP ads, ‘invasion’ language is everywhere, by Paul Waldman and Greg Sargent, Washington Post, September 1, 2022]
America’s Voice concludes: “Republicans have made their nativist narrative a top messaging priority.” Of course, we all know “nativism” and “xenophobia” are just terms to denigrate common-sense immigration patriotism.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy made the border crisis a core part of his “Commitment to America” pitch for the midterms. Its second plank pledges that Republicans will seek “a nation that is safe,” and vows to secure the border and end the illegal drug trade [McCarthy’s “Commitment to America“ rollout, by Andrew Sollender and Alayna Treene, Axios, September 6, 2022].
The immigration issue is already playing well for Republicans along the Texas border. MSM outlets fret that the invasion will convince Democrats to vote red in November [Along the Texas-Mexico border, GOP enthusiasm mounts as Democrats defect over immigration concerns, by James Barragan, Texas Tribune, September 12, 2022].
But it’s not just enough to promise stronger borders. Republicans must punish the Biden Regime for its border treason. That means impeaching Biden and other officials.
Fortunately, some Republicans are laying the groundwork if the GOP takes back Congress. At least eight impeachment resolutions have been proposed and dozens of conservative legislators are reportedly open to the idea. It’s up to Kevin McCarthy, who is reluctant to endorse the idea, to listen to the base and push for it [House conservatives prep plans to impeach Biden, by Mike Lillis, The Hill, August 30, 2022].
And the base is all for it. 52 percent of "Likely U.S. voters" polled by Rasmussen want Biden impeached. That’s a clear mandate [Impeach Biden? Most GOP, Independent Voters Say ‘Yes,’ September 8, 2022].
It’s up to Republicans to make Biden’s border malfeasance into the campaign issue of 2022 by pledging to impeach Biden if and when they take back power.
A president who aids and abets a foreign invasion commits treason and must be removed from office. How complicated is this?

Joe Biden Welcomes 3 Migrants for Every 4 U.S. Births
President Joe Biden’s border policy has invited 1.15 million migrants across the border since October 2021, despite the continued anti-epidemic Title 42 border barrier, according to data released by the Department of Homeland Security.
The 1.15 million economic migrants were allowed to cross the border under a series of legal excuses. They have been accompanied by roughly 500,000 additional job-seeking migrants who sneaked or rushed past Biden’s small force of distracted border guards.
The 1.15 million migrants were more than half of the two million migrants who arrived at the border. Few of them were flown home — so many of the rejected migrants were later able to sneak across the border.
Another 150,000 migrants are expected to be welcomed this month.
At the same time, Biden’s deputies have admitted another one million legal immigrants, visa workers, and job-seekers pretending to be short-term tourists. These migrants carry green cards, or H-1B, L-1, J-1, TN, F-1, or B-1/B-2 visas.
So Biden’s massive flood is adding roughly three migrants for every four Americans who will be born this year.
His flood delivers three foreign migrants for every four Americans who turn 18 this year.
In contrast, President Donald Trump allowed only 253,000 migrants across the border in 2020. He also slashed the inflow of legal immigrants and visa workers.
That low-migration policy gave more than 100 million working Americans the tight labor market that they needed to win extra wages, more technology investment, and better workplace treatment in 2020 and 2021.
Predictably, Biden’s migration is pressuring down Americans’ wages. It is also boosting rents and housing prices, and pushing up inflation for a wide variety of goods, such as used autos and food.
The mass migration is also distorting normal politics. For example, Democrats claim racism is motivating Americans’ attempts to protect their economic and citizen rights amid the flood of foreign economic migrants.
Similarly, GOP legislators ignore migration’s economic hit on Americans and try to focus voters on other issues, such as migrant crime, chaos, and drug smuggling.
The mass inflow is supported by the economic beneficiaries — the nation’s political and business elites.
It is also backed by many of its college-graduate supporters in the media and the professional sector. The college-grade supporters, however, pay heavily for their support of migration. Many earn lower salaries amid the huge inflow of white-collar migrants, and many choose to buy houses or rent apartments in low-diversity districts where they expect schools and crimes will be better than in districts damaged by the inflow of migrants.
The least productive groups of American citizens also lose out to eager, hard-working, and grateful economic migrants in the nation’s economy.
For example, the left-wing D.C. Fiscal Policy Institute reported on September 15 how lesser-educated Americans are struggling in the D.C. economy:
Affording the basics, such as rent, food, and utilities is a daily challenge for many DC residents. This is disproportionately true for Black residents, one in five of whom live in poverty. Income support programs help people make ends meet and boost long-term education and health outcomes for children.
One of the migrants who was delivered to D.C. by Biden’s semi-open borders policy, Lever Alejos, spoke to Miriam Jordan, a reporter at the New York Times:
Solidly middle class in Venezuela, he was struggling to keep his machine-repair shop afloat amid the country’s economic collapse. In Venezuela these days, many people make just a few dollars a day.
…
Within days [of arriving in D.C.], Mr. Alejos found work in construction. By the second week, he was sending money home to support his 7-year-old son, Christopher, and saving to buy a cellphone. By late fall, he plans to move out of the shelter to his own place.
“There is so much opportunity here,” he told Jordan. “You just have to take advantage of it.”
Nearly all non-profit advocates for migration ignore the economic skew created by migration, just as they ignore the massive death toll of Biden’s migration.
But that see-no-problem policy is risky, partly because it may lead to a massive political correction in November that would damage many of the Democrats’ other priorities and ideological claims.
The polls show that Biden’s migration is a very high priority for Americans, even though pollsters pretend that immigration is unconnected to the economy or inflation.
For example, the GOP has 46 percent support — a 17-point advantage — on immigration, and 56 percent support — a 36-point advantage — on border issues, according to an NBC September poll of 1,000 registered voters.
The GOP also has 47 percent support for the economy, giving it a 19-point advantage over the Democrats.
The poll also showed that “jobs and the economy,” “cost of living,” and “immigration and the situation at the border” were deemed the most important issues by 44 percent of the respondents.
Extraction Migration
Government officials want to grow the economy, and immigration is an easier tool than gradually raising exports, productivity, or the birth rate.
So the federal governments extract millions of migrants from poor countries and use them as extra workers, consumers, and renters.
This Extraction Migration policy grows the national economy but also skews it towards employers and investors. For example, migration tends to ensure employers do not run short of labor. The lack of “tight labor markets” ensures that the migration shifts vast wealth from employees to investors, billionaires, and Wall Street. In turn, that makes it difficult for ordinary Americans to advance in their careers, get married, raise families, or buy homes.
Extraction migration also slows innovation and shrinks Americans’ productivity. This happens because it encourages employers to boost stock prices by relying on disposable workers instead of uncapturable American professionals and technology.
This migration policy also reduces exports by minimizing economic pressure on U.S. companies to build up complementary trade with people in poor countries.
Migration undermines employees’ workplace rights, and it widens the regional economic gaps between the Democrats’ cheap-labor coastal states and the Republicans’ heartland and southern states.
An economy fueled by extraction migration also drains Americans’ political clout over elites. It alienates young people and radicalizes Americans’ democratic civic culture because it gives an excuse for wealthy elites and progressives to ignore despairing Americans at the bottom of society, such as drug addicts.
This economic strategy is enthusiastically pushed by progressives who wish to transform the U.S. from a society governed by European-origin civic culture into an economic empire of jealous identity groups overseen by progressive hall monitors. “We’re trying to become the first multiracial, multi-ethnic superpower in the world,” Rep. Rohit Khanna (D-CA) told the New York Times in March 2022. “It will be an extraordinary achievement. … We will ultimately triumph,” he boasted.
But the progressives’ colonialism-like economic strategy kills many migrants. It exploits the poverty of migrants and splits foreign families as it extracts human resources from poor home countries to serve wealthy U.S. investors.
Progressives hide this extraction migration economic policy behind a wide variety of noble-sounding narratives and theatrical border security programs. For example, they claim the U.S. is a “Nation of Immigrants,” that migration helps migrants, and that the state must renew itself by replacing populations.
Similarly, establishment Republicans, corporate media, and major GOP donors hide the skew caused by migration. They suppress any recognition of the pocketbook impact and instead tout border chaos, welfare spending, migrant crime, and drug smuggling.
Many polls show the public wants to welcome some immigration. But the polls also show deep and broad public opposition to labor migration and the inflow of temporary contract workers into the good jobs U.S. graduates need to raise families.
This “Third Rail” opposition is growing, anti-establishment, multiracial, cross-sex, non-racist, class-based, bipartisan, rational, persistent, and recognizes the solidarity that American citizens owe to one another.
