Encouraging both legal and illegal mass immigration continues to be a primary aim for both politicians and organizations on the left. Breitbart News previously revealed that the wealthy Ford Foundation poured an astonishing $114 million into organizations that push for mass immigration and amnesty.
Breitbart News also revealed that George Soros’s Open Society Foundation dumped millions of dollars into organizations that encourage illegal immigration and amnesty.
Biden's loose immigration policy is killing hundreds
As we look at the damage that uncontrolled illegal immigration is doing to our national security and southern towns, it's often easy to overlook what is happening to the illegal aliens themselves.
Most of them are looking to create a better life for themselves, although they have been led to believe that breaking the laws of the land they want to live in is the way to do it. Many of those migrants are also losing their lives on the journey, either being killed or dying from the elements or malnutrition.
It has gotten so bad that the Brooks County, Texas sheriff said President Joe Biden's open immigration policies have forced him to create a temporary morgue for his county due to the number of deaths at the border.
"We are in Brooks County, Texas. The sheriff just brought me over to the morgue they've set up. This is in response to the number of bodies, dead bodies, illegal aliens, that have died in the country that they are doing their best to try to identify. This is what open borders look like," Real America's Voice reporter Ben Bergquam said in an interview with the sheriff. He later added, "This is the reality if open borders. Everyone that says open borders are 'compassion,' that is what you're creating. That is what open borders look like. I can't express to you the smell. It's terrible. That's what these guys have to deal with every single day. That's what you are inviting, more death, more destruction. The destruction of our country and the death of thousands."
Fiscal year 2022, which ended at the end of September, saw the greatest number of illegal alien deaths as they sought to cross the southern U.S. border. The total was 856 men, women, and children. They came because they thought they would be welcomed and the border was open, and they only wound up dying.
Also, the first month of the fiscal year 2023 is not even over yet, and there have been 25 illegal alien deaths.
"If you live along the border, you know the Biden administration and House Democrats have abandoned us. We are on our own," Representative Tony Gonzales tweeted.
The surge in deaths shouldn't be too surprising. Illegal immigration has been surging under the Biden administration, which has been doing little to secure the southern border. When you create an open invitation for people to come, you shouldn't be surprised when they do.
"Immigration experts have stated that Biden and Department Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas are the ones largely to blame for the current immigration crisis," according to Law Enforcement Today.
The millions of illegal migrants come, hoping that once they are here, something will be done to allow them to stay.
"Mayorkas has eviscerated our interior immigration enforcement apparatus, meaning that once an illegal alien enters our country they become virtually impossible to remove," Matthew Tragesser with the Federation for American Immigration Reform said in a statement.
It is a gamble that the Biden administration has encouraged with its failure to secure the border. This can be seen in the record-high numbers of encounters that the Border Patrol agents are having with illegal aliens.
Our porous southern border is doing no one any good. It needs to change before 2023 becomes another record year for illegal migrant deaths.

32 Migrants Found Locked in U-Haul Truck After Pursuit near Border in AZ
The driver of a U-Haul box truck in Arizona led Border Patrol agents on a high-speed pursuit with a group of migrants locked in the rear cargo area. The migrants had no means of escape in the event of a crash or abandonment.
Tucson Sector Chief Patrol Agent John R. Modlin tweeted photos of a group of migrants rescued by agents from the rear of a U-Haul box truck. The driver of the truck failed to yield when agents assigned to the Tucson Station attempted to stop the truck for an immigration inspection along IH-10.
When the agents activated its emergency lights and siren, the driver attempted to evade apprehension and sped away to the west from Tucson. The driver eventually stopped on a rural road located southwest of Tucson, Tucson Sector Border Patrol officials said in a written statement.
The driver and front-seat passenger bailed out of the truck and fled into the darkness.
Agents search for the two fugitives but were unable to locate them. Other agents opened the locked cargo door at the rear of the truck and found a group of migrants packed inside. In total, the agents found 32 migrants locked in the box truck with no means of escape in the event of a crash. Fortunately, no one was injured in the vehicle, Chief Modlin stated.
The agents identified the migrants as 31 adult men from Guatemala and Mexico. One unaccompanied minor was also locked inside the truck.
Despite an extensive search of the area, the smuggler and his accomplice were not found.
“Tucson Sector Border Patrol continues to see smugglers transport migrants in box trucks and livestock trailers, a disturbing trend that greatly endangers migrant lives,” officials stated. “U.S. Border Patrol agents and their law enforcement partners are dedicated to the safety and security of all whom they encounter and regularly rescue migrants from these extremely dangerous situations.”

577K Fentanyl Pills Seized at Arizona Border Crossing over Weekend
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers assigned to the Nogales Port of Entry over the weekend seized more than 577,000 fentanyl pills in five incidents. The officers also seized cocaine and methamphetamine in two of the incidents.
Office of Field Operations Nogales Port Director Michael W. Humphries tweeted photos of hundreds of thousands of fentanyl pills and other drugs seized as smugglers attempted to move them from Mexico into the United States.
On Saturday, CBP officers at the port interdicted three smuggling incidents involving fentanyl pills. In the largest event of the weekend, officers found 297,000 fentanyl pills in frame rails and a false compartment of a car, Humphries stated.
Officers also found 10,400 pills in a woman’s purse and 114,800 pills hidden in the dash of a car. The officers also seized 10.3 pounds of cocaine in the dash.
The next day, officers interdicted two additional smuggling attempts leading to the seizure of 134,200 fentanyl pills in the rocker panels of a car. The second incident involved the seizure of 21,000 fentanyl pills and 60.3 pounds of methamphetamine in the doors and seats of a vehicle.
These are not isolated incidents. About a week earlier, Nogales Port of Entry officers found another 400,000 fentanyl pills in five loads over the weekend. Humphries reported that approximately 30,000 of these pills were the “rainbow” colored pills. The officers also seized 152 pounds of methamphetamine.
CBO officers seized more than five million fentanyl pills at the Nogales Port Of Entry in the last ninety days, NewsNationNow reported.
