America Faces No Greater Threat Than Joe Biden and the Democrat Party. Their Assault to Our Borders Is As Great As Their Assault to Free Speech and Free Elections

INSIDE TRADER NANCY PELOSI'S MELTDOWN HOME DISTRICT - San Francisco Hotels Demand City Compensate for Damage by Homeless
San Francisco Hotels Demand City Compensate for Damage by Homeless
San Francisco hotels are demanding millions of dollars from the city to compensate them for damage incurred while housing the homeless under a municipal government program launched during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Under the program, known as “Shelter-in-Place” (SIP), hotels were used to move homeless people off the streets for fear of spreading the coronavirus in tent cities. Ironically, as COVID became better understood, officials began recommending against clearing homeless encampments, because the virus spread less easily outdoors. However, the practice of housing the homeless in hotels was embraced by Democratic officials in state and local government, though it was expensive, as a temporary way of tackling an ongoing homeless crisis.
Now, with tourism picking up again, hotels in San Francisco, which were commandeered by the SIP program, are demanding that the city compensate them for the damage that some temporary homeless residents caused.
Hotel Union Square’s clean-up bill was steep — $5.6 million to repair rampant smoke damage, broken light fixtures, mold and other problems.
As city supervisors consider shelling out millions to settle the dispute over damages at one of San Francisco’s hotel homeless shelters, tax payers could be on the hook for millions more to settle similar claims from other hotels that participated in the program.
…
It’s still unclear how many claims the city may face, but with more than two dozen hotels participating with the program at its peak city officials could soon be contending with more — particularly since some SIP hotels only recently began winding down operations.
The city considers the program a success, even though it is ending and homelessness persists, because it says it slowed the spread of COVID-19 and allowed homeless residents to quarantine in hotel rooms rather than in local hospitals, where they could have burdened public health.

Naïve American people had no idea what they were getting with Biden: A senile, corrupt, debauched old man with a son who was a conduit for his dirty dealings and who has a personal life so disgusting it’s hard to write about it. That’s what the American media and the tech tyrants have done to America. ANDREA WIDBURG
Watters: The Five (CRIME) Families of the Democrat Party
Yes, yes, Nancy Pelosi is “historic.” You can’t hear or read a story about her without hearing how “historic” the first female Speaker of the House was. *YAWN* One way in which they never characterize her is how historic it is to LOSE control of the House twice as Speaker, which is a rare feat in modern times. But, whatever. She’s historic…and so was the Titanic.
Still, as she begins her long goodbye (I suspect she’ll ultimately resign just before the August recess next year), it’s important to note the wealth she has helped create in this country. No, I’m not talking about the trillions of our tax dollars she handed out to her donor and constituents, though that did make a lot of her fellow Democrats filthy rich. I’m talking about what made her and her family filthy rich.
Nancy Pelosi has never been poor. She comes from a politically connected family in Maryland, her father having served as the Mayor of Baltimore. She never missed a meal. Neither did her husband, Paul. That they’re rich has always been, that they’ve become mega-rich while Nancy engaged in “public service” is where the story takes a turn.
If I had known you could get so rich off “public service,” or in the case of another Baltimore Democrat, Mayor-elect Wes Moore, “helping the poor,” I might’ve chosen another professional field. (Moore has a net worth of $5 million, a pittance compared to Pelosi, but he’s been in the “charity” business, now that he’s entering “public service” expect his net worth to balloon.)
According to Open Secrets, Nancy had a net worth of $24 million in 2008. That managed to explode to $114 million by 2018. Did your net worth more than quadruple in those 10 years? Mine either.
Estimates now place her net worth between $200 and $300 million, with some as high as $400 million. Whatever the number is, she owes a lot of it to her husband’s stock trading.
Paul Pelosi is a gifted trader – knowing when to get in and out, turning profits at just the right moments. If only we could all be so talented…or have a spouse with access to information no one else does.
Imagine being able to know before anyone else whether certain government contracts or grants are going through, or not. Or having access to upcoming changes in laws or regulations that will positively or negatively impact entire industries before the public has any clue they were even being considered. Sounds great, doesn’t it? It sure does.
The weird thing is this: if you had access to any of this sort of information as a private citizen (meaning a non-government employee) and you acted on it, you’d likely go to jail for insider trading. But this very same information as a “public servant” is fair game and you can make yourself rich off it.
The difference between the two positions is the private sector person is subject to the rules, and a “public servant” makes them. That makes all the difference in the world.
One is illegal, the other is not. Maybe it’s time we level the playing field.
There was a half-hearted push to ban Members of Congress and other political officials from trading individual stocks, thereby allowing them to use their insider information to make themselves rich. It was never going anywhere beyond being showy because why would it? Who would disarm themselves like that?
Rather than try to ban them from cheating the system, how about we create a mutual fund that mirrors what they do?
I’m serious about this, we can name it the Pelosi Fund (or the Reid Fund after former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid who came to the Senate a man of relatively modest means and retired with tens of millions of dollars) to honor her “historic” position. A hedge fund that chooses to hold or sell positions based on what Members of Congress and their families do.
Don’t ban them from trading stocks, get in on it. Let Members, their spouses, and their kids be free to trade whatever stocks they want in whatever quantities they want, they just have to give 2-3 hours of notice before their trades are executed. That would allow our new fund to decide if we want to follow suit or not, thereby leveling the playing field. They can continue to get rich, but so can we.
These people make the rules, so even if they change them they are going to leave themselves a workaround. Stop kidding yourselves into thinking you can hold them accountable and use them the way they’re using us: to get rich.
I don’t have the wherewithal to set up a hedge fund, so I’ll just take a beak-wetting commission in perpetuity for the idea, say 1 percent. I’m open to negotiations on that, but I think it’s about time we all get uber-rich the Nancy Pelosi way – by cheating the system. Let that be her lasting legacy. Enjoy retirement, Nan.

But the Breitbart Business Digest believes Pelosi’s career ought to be defined in a different way: She is the most infamous—and one of the most successful—stock traders of all time. Her personal wealth has soared to nine figures and beyond since the financial collapse of 2008. This is largely attributed to stock trades made by her husband, Paul; and those trades were often concentrated in businesses and industries propped up by Nancy’s political policies. As famously documented by Breitbart Senior Contributor Peter Schweizer, Nancy Pelosi’s stances shifted consistently as her family made money. Currently—and thanks in part to the Speaker herself—most, if not all, of this appears to be legal.
This was in full view in a press conference in December of 2019, when she was asked about her feelings about Donald Trump. Rising to her full height, she stared down the reporter and said, "Don't mess with me." This is a woman who obviously has two books firmly velcroed to her bed table: Sun Tzu's The Art of War and Mario Puzo's The Godfather.
"Hello, I must be going. I cannot stay. I came to say I must be going. I'm glad I came, but just the same I must be going." So sang Groucho Marx in Animal Crackers.
Groucho might as well have been pre-reminiscing about the career of San Francisco's darling, the inimitable Nancy Patricia (née D'Alesandro) Pelosi, who has wielded the gavel (off and on) of the House of Representatives for nearly 20 years. First she wasn't, then she was, and then not, and finally again speaker of that "august" body that resembles a watering hole for malevolent power brokers.
That aside, Pelosi has proven herself to be a mistress of shepherding ideological legislation through the Congress by using a masterful mixture of procedural knowledge, political savvy, and good old-fashioned arm-twisting of her members over the years.
Perhaps her greatest, certainly the most recent, opposition party foe was and is Donald J. Trump, who dared to stand up to her and repeatedly attempted to knock her off balance on the tower that she had laboriously built for herself. Their feuding was constant and public. While she presided over two impeachment hearings, the visual we will all remember is her ripping up Trump's third State of the Union speech on camera while his back was turned. To many of us on the right, this was not only seamy, but also a clear signal that Pelosi had fallen off her perch. It showed her true colors as a nasty, power-absorbed woman instead of the statesman she had long pretended to be. We would be convinced of it when she orchestrated a hit squad that called itself the "United States House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol."
To her credit, during her long years as speaker, she was able to rally her troops by ruling with an iron hand until it became clear that her stranglehold on power was insufficient to keep certain members in line...and quiet. I'm referring to "The Squad," four über-radical Progressives (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan) who were way out there in a political galaxy far, far away, orbiting even her own constituents in that most radical of bastions, California's 12th Congressional District. To be sure, the Squad gave Ms. Pelosi a D.C.-sized case of agità, but they also helped her in her quest to circle the wagons of that extreme group of global resetters that the Dems needed to retain absolute power in the House.
Being an old dog, Pelosi had "been there and done that" with renegade members of her party before, but this time, they were vocal — too vocal for her. But she wouldn't take their bait. Instead of confronting them openly, she worked her levers of power behind the scenes and let them rise or fall in their own elections. They all rose, winning back their seats.
She did get some pushback on occasion for her stance on a few key issues, abortion being one of them (as did her boss, Joe Biden) from the Catholic hierarchy locally. In May of this year, her bishop, Salvatore Cordileone, barred her receiving Communion for her pro-abortion stance, but that did not deter her from seeking support from a "higher power" (Cordileone's boss, Pope Francis) when the pope gave her Communion a month later in the Vatican.
Nancy was not a woman to trifled with even by the Church that she professes to love so much. When she perceived that her faith (or anything else, for that matter) was in question by reporters, she would give them her Italianate backhand in a dismissive gesture, accompanied by an evil eye. She would dispatch them to Hades.
The right may be rejoicing now at Pelosi's news to step down from a speaker's contest, but make no mistake: Pelosi is not gone, nor will she be forgotten. As is usually the case, Democrats who have stood their post and defended the party will be rewarded, and she will probably land a plum position like ambassador to the Holy See, taking Amb. Joe Donnelly's place.
This job would be the perfect venue from which she could give the ultimate back of her hand to her bishop and to all those who've wronged her since her ascendency to national office. Nancy Patricia Pelosi's revenge is embodied in five words: living to fight another day. And her revenge is certainly served cold — cold as the $12/pint Jeni's ice cream that fills her $24,000 freezer. Pax Domini, Nan.

“Protect and enrich.” This is a perfect encapsulation of the Clinton (LAWYERS-2) Foundation and the (LAWYERS-2) Obama book and television deals. Then there is the Biden (LAWYERS-3) family corruption, followed closely behind by similar abuses of power and office by the (LAWYER) Warren and Sanders families, as Peter Schweizer described in his recent book “Profiles in Corruption.” These names just scratch the surface of government corruption (YOU CAN ADD LAWYER KAMALA HARRIS AND LAWYER CHUCK SCHUMER TO THE PATHEION OF DEMOCRAT BRIBES SUCKING CORRUPT LAWYER POLITICIANS!). One topic that Hillary is quick to criticize President Trump on is his relationship with Saudia Arabia. It’s ironic given the Clinton Foundation’s refusal to state that they will no longer accept financial donations from The Kingdom as others have.

Breitbart Business Digest: Nancy Pelosi Headed to Stock Trading Hall of Fame; FTX Gets the Clown Emoji
Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) announced Thursday that she would retire from House leadership. She has earned a spot in history for breaking barriers, succeeding in what was formerly a man’s world, and advancing a left-wing agenda more effectively than nearly any individual in American politics.
Pelosi is slow-walking an utterly reasonable (and necessary) ban on congressional stock trading. Something like that is almost guaranteed to become a part of the platform for any Republican seeking the White House in 2024—unless Joe Biden signs something into law along these lines first. Though she will remain in the Congress, at least for now, Pelosi’s tenure in leadership has come to an end. What does the future have in store for the soon-to-be former Speaker? We certainly hope it’s seminars, newsletters, or masterclasses on how to dominate the trading game while still soaring to historic heights at your day job.

Though his retirement is not confirmed, Brian Deese, Biden’s top economic advisor and a BlackRock alumnus, is reportedly looking for an offramp from his post as National Economic Council Director in 2023. He’s largely responsible for the Bidenflation and America’s reluctance to tap our own natural resources despite soaring energy prices. So, good riddance, but he’ll likely be replaced by someone equally as bad.
Also on Wednesday, the Philadelphia Fed released their factory activity index, and it showed a large and unexpected drop from already low estimates. This gauge measures manufacturing in the mid-Atlantic region. While a negative 8.7 number was posted in October, November’s number came in at -19.4 percent. The expectation was -6.0 percent. New orders also weakened from already low numbers. Given that inflation is continuing at a rapid pace, these numbers might be even worse than they appear on paper.
FTX’s CEO John Ray III (famous for restructuring Enron) referred to his new company as a “complete failure” with an “absence of trustworthy financial information.” The company’s bankruptcy filing, released today, made this saga even more surreal. Most of FTX’s digital assets have not been secured, and no one appears to know who the company’s biggest creditors are. But perhaps more amusingly and horrifyingly, the company was paying for its employees’ luxury housing, and disbursements were approved via personalized emojis in a company chat. As murky as things stand as of now, one thing is clear: FTX calls for a double clown emoji.

GOP Rep. Comer: ‘Joe Biden Was Actively Involved in Hunter’s Shady Business Dealings’
During Thursday’s broadcast of FNC’s “Special Report,” Rep. James Comer (R-KY), the ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, argued President Joe Biden was aware of his son Hunter Biden’s “shady” business dealings.
Comer told host Bret Baier it was possible that was guiding Biden administration policy.
“What we proved today was, first of all, Joe Biden lied to the American people when he said he had no knowledge of Hunter Biden’s shady business dealings,” he said. “OK, that is a complete lie. He also denied having any financial benefit from — from Hunter Biden. What we have proven today is not only did he know about Hunter’s shady business dealings with our adversaries in Ukraine, Russia and China, but he also was going to be an active part of that. We showed an e-mail that Hunter Biden sent to a property owner just outside of Washington, D.C. when they were nailing down office space. And he said, I need three extra keys, one for his Chinese partner, who is closely aligned with CCP, one for Jim Biden, and one for Joe Biden.”
“So, there are also e-mails that show that Hunter Biden was involved, that his dad was going to be a 10% equity stakeholder,” Comer continued. “We know the Gilliar comments and the Bobulinski comments that both have identified Joe Biden as being the big guy who’s going to get a 10% ownership stake. So, Joe Biden was actively involved in Hunter’s shady business dealings. And maybe that’s why we’re getting such bad policy. We learned today that one of their business propositions was to try to get China’s foot in the door on the American natural gas industry. I think the American people need to know that. And is that — has that compromised this administration?”
In 2018 and 2020, Breitbart Senior Contributor and Government Accountability Institute President Peter Schweizer published Secret Empires and Profiles in Corruption. Each book hit #1 on the New York Times bestseller list and exposed how Hunter Biden and Joe Biden flew aboard Air Force Two in 2013 to China before Hunter’s firm inked a $1.5 billion deal with a subsidiary of the Chinese government’s Bank of China less than two weeks after the trip. Schweizer’s work also uncovered the Biden family’s other vast and lucrative foreign deals and cronyism. Breitbart Political Editor Emma-Jo Morris’ investigative work at the New York Post on the Hunter Biden “laptop from hell” also captured international headlines when she, along with Miranda Devine, revealed that Joe Biden was intimately involved in Hunter’s businesses, appearing to even have a 10% stake in a company the scion formed with officials at the highest levels of the Chinese Communist Party.
