Seven key developments in the Biden family business scandal have come to light in 2022. The scandal, suppressed by the intelligence agencies and establishment media dating back to 2020, became one of the major storylines of the year.
Recent polling shows 71 percent of Americans believe accurate reporting of Hunter Biden’s “Laptop from Hell” could have altered the 2020 presidential election. The political impact of the scandal has drawn GOP House leadership to launch nine investigations into Hunter and President Joe Biden. Sixty-two percent of voters approved of the congressional probes.
Since 2018, the DOJ has reportedly been investigating Hunter for alleged tax and gun violations. Hunter has yet to be charged with wrongdoing.
1) U.S. Banks Flagged Over 150 Suspicious Financial Transactions from Biden Family
In April, U.S. banks flagged over 150 suspicious financial transactions from Hunter and James Biden, according to CBS News. The wire transfers included “large” amounts of money tripped for further review by American banks.
Wire transfers have been the tool of choice for money launderers. To mitigate the risks to the financial institutions, suspicious wire transfers over $10,000 are flagged for review. Wire transactions involving more than $10,000 are also to be reported to the Internal Revenue Service.
“The focus is on day one are those bank violations and those bank records,” Rep. James Comer (R-KY) told Breitbart News. “We are pretty confident in what we’re going to find in those. We have two bank violations. We have some bank statements in hand, and we believe that suspicious activity reports, which are bank violations when the bank notifies the federal government that we’re pretty confident that our client has committed a crime, Hunter Biden and Jim Biden have at least 150 of those. And I’ve said this before, and I come from a strong banking background, I don’t think there’s anyone in the history of the United States that’s had that many suspicious activity reports.”
2) Joe Biden Met with Hunter’s Business Partner at White House
News broke in April that Hunter’s closest business partner Eric Schwerin made at least 19 visits to the White House and other official locations from 2009 to 2015, according to visitor logs from the White House. Schwerin also reportedly met with then-Vice President Joe Biden in the White House.
The meetings contradict Joe Biden’s statement that he has not been involved in the Biden family business schemes. In fact, a total of seven times Joe Biden and his team have deflected or denied involvement in the family business. “I’ve never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings,” Joe Biden said.
3) Voicemail Proves Joe Biden Spoke to Hunter About Family Business
In June, news broke Joe Biden left Hunter a voicemail in 2018 about a Chinese energy deal, directly contradicting Joe Biden’s statement in 2019 that he and his son had not spoken about the family’s corrupt business schemes.
“Hey pal, it’s Dad. It’s 8:15 on Wednesday night. If you get a chance just give me a call. Nothing urgent. I just wanted to talk to you,” Joe Biden said in a voicemail reported by the Daily Mail.
“I thought the article released online, it’s going to be printed tomorrow in the Times, was good. I think you’re clear. And anyway if you get a chance give me a call, I love you,” he concluded.
4) Deputy DNI Warned Hunter’s Laptop Was Not ‘Russian Disinfo’; CNN’s Natasha Bertrand Wrote Now Discredited Story Anyway
In December, Cliff Sims, former deputy director of National Intelligence (DNI) stated he warned CNN reporter Natasha Bertrand that Hunter’s laptop was not Russian disinformation before she wrote the infamous and discredited Politico story which utilized “dozens of former intel officials” to purvey a false and misleading narrative about the origins of Hunter’s laptop. Breitbart News reported:
Bertrand, a reporter for Politico at the time, approached then-deputy DNI Sims on October 19, 2020, regarding an article she was writing about 50 former information officials claiming Hunter’s laptop was Russian disinformation. Breitbart News’s Emma-Jo Morris had a few days earlier broken the “Laptop from Hell” story, which big tech censored, in the New York Post .
Sims told Bertrand before the publication of the Politico story that the “Laptop from Hell” was not Russian disinformation, citing then-Director of National Intelligence (DNI) John Ratcliffe. Despite Sims’ warning, Bertrand wrote the story anyway and gave the Democrats the headline they wanted, Sims stated.
5) White House Debating How to Combat Probes into Hunter
According to a Washington Post report in December, disagreement exists among those surrounding the Biden family about how to combat Republican investigations into the family business.
A disagreement exists between Hunter’s attorney, Kevin Morris, and the White House about how the Biden family should combat the investigations into the family business. Morris wants Hunter to remain in the public eye by attending public events, such as the recent White House state dinner and public art exhibits . The Post reported those who agree with Morris’s strategy also believe Hunter should play a public role in Joe Biden’s potential reelection campaign.
The White House appears to have opposed pushing Hunter further into the public eye, despite Hunter’s noted public appearances, including at Joe Biden’s vacation destinations.
6) Hunter’s Drug Abuse Reportedly Delaying Charges in Tax, Gun-Related Probe
The Justice Department reportedly delayed its “final decision” on whether Hunter will be charged for alleged tax and gun-related violations because people familiar with the matter told the Wall Street Journal in October that Hunter’s drug abuse could be a scapegoat the defense could successfully use to defend the president’s son against potential charges.
According to media reports, charges were expected to be brought by the end of summer 2020, but Joe Biden’s Justice Department is reportedly wrestling with Hunter’s drug addiction.
7) Legal Experts Estimate Hunter Biden’s Legal Defense Costs $100K a Month
Hunter has stated he is not wealthy. According to Hunter’s ex-wife, Hunter was nearly penniless while Joe Biden was vice president, living paycheck to paycheck after out-of-control spending. From 2018-2019, Joe Biden even committed to wiring Hunter $100,000.
Where Hunter is finding the money to pay his legal bills is unknown, but it appears that Hunter has maintained multiple income streams. Breitbart News reported in December:
According to attorneys with knowledge of industry compensation standards, Hunter could be paying more than $100,000 per month ($1.2 million per year) for his legal defense team. Lawyers at such a level would cost $1,000 per hour, a D.C. attorney who asked for anonymity for fear of retribution and reprisal told Breitbart News. Prepping for a single hearing could range from 6 to 40 hours, another attorney said.
In 2018 and 2020, Breitbart Senior Contributor and Government Accountability Institute President Peter Schweizer published Secret Empires and Profiles in Corruption . Each book hit #1 on the New York Times bestseller list and exposed how Hunter Biden and Joe Biden flew aboard Air Force Two in 2013 to China before Hunter’s firm inked a $1.5 billion deal with a subsidiary of the Chinese government’s Bank of China less than two weeks after the trip. Schweizer’s work also uncovered the Biden family’s other vast and lucrative foreign deals and cronyism.
Breitbart Political Editor Emma-Jo Morris’s investigative work at the New York Post on the Hunter Biden “laptop from hell” also captured international headlines when she, along with Miranda Devine, revealed that Joe Biden was intimately involved in Hunter’s businesses, appearing to even have a 10 percent stake in a company the scion formed with officials at the highest levels of the Chinese Communist Party.

Hunter Biden Documents Case: DOJ Says It’s ‘Not Trying to Hide the Ball’

(CNSNews.com) – A Department of Justice lawyer told a federal court in Colorado on Monday that the DOJ was “not trying to hide the ball” in its response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for documents dealing with Hunter Biden’s business activities in China, Russia, and Ukraine.
“That is exactly what they are doing,” Colorado attorney Kevin Evans, the plaintiff in the case along with the firm Evans Law, told CNSNews.com in an email after the hearing in Denver.
Confirming a comment he made in an interview outside the courthouse, he said, “I think there’s information in those documents that they just don’t want to see the light of day.”
Evans is suing the DOJ over its response to his FOIA request, lodged in late 2020, for records relating to the business dealings in China, Russia, and Ukraine of President Biden’s son, as well as the president’s brother, James Biden.
He says months-long attempts to get information from the DOJ garnered him nothing more substantive than letters between lawmakers and the department, and a Senate report.
Evans filed suit in March last year. In court last May, a DOJ representative said the search was complete, and that the department had found 400 pages of documents “potentially responsive” to the FOIA request, which were undergoing review.
Two months later, however, the DOJ, in a letter to the plaintiffs, said it “refuse[s] to confirm or deny the existence of such records” (that is, the 400 pages), according to documents before the court.
Evans has argued that there is “significant public interest” in the records he is seeking – material relating to Hunter and James Biden, “pertaining to any relationship, communication, gift(s), and/or remuneration in any form with, to or from any individual or entity (government agency or otherwise) from the countries of China, Russia, and/or Ukraine.”
He made the point again in a status report submitted for Monday’s hearing:

“Plaintiffs submit that there is a significant public interest in such records: e.g., concerns regarding national security, influence peddling, and whether such favors and gifts were provided in exchange for an illicit quid pro quo.”
Documents before the court show that the DOJ sought to justify its “refusal to confirm or deny” stance on the basis of two exemptions in the FOIA, relating to “an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.”
On Monday, Evans argued for “limited discovery.” He is proposing that the DOJ answer a list of specific questions, including stating whether any of the 400 pages of “potentially responsive” documents have been disclosed – by the DOJ or anyone else – to anyone other than a DOJ employee, and in each case when, to whom, and why.
The DOJ wants to proceed to summary judgment without discovery. The parties will now submit status reports and file documents related to the department’s motion for summary judgment.
Evans afterwards highlighted as one key takeaway from the hearing an observation by the presiding judge that the DOJ could not plausibly deny the existence of the roughly 400 pages of “potentially relevant” documents, given what the DOJ had already said in court.
Evans also noted the comment by DOJ counsel Alexander Sverdlov to the effect that “We’re not trying to hide the ball.”
“That is exactly what they are doing,” Evans charged.
Among investigations planned by the Republican-controlled House this year, the House Oversight and Reform Committee is looking into “the Biden family’s domestic and international business dealings to determine whether these activities compromise U.S. national security and President Biden’s ability to lead with impartiality.”
“The Biden family business model is built on Joe Biden’s political career and connections with Joe Biden as the ‘chairman of the board,’” committee chairman Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) said in a statement on its website.
“Biden family members sold access for profit around the world to the detriment of American interests. If President Biden is compromised by deals with foreign adversaries and they are impacting his decision making, this is a threat to national security,” Comer said. “The American people deserve transparency and accountability about the Biden family’s influence peddling.”
Comer is also seeking documents relating to Hunter and James Biden’s business activities from various agencies, including the U.S. Treasury Department, FBI, and the National Archives.

(CNSNews.com) - Colorado-based attorney Kevin Evans says the U.S. Justice Department is stonewalling his FOIA request for documents relating to gifts, payments and communications that Hunter Biden and Jim Biden -- the president's son and brother -- had with or received from Russia, China and Ukraine.
Evans told Fox News Tuesday night that he sued DOJ in March 2022, trying to force compliance with his initial FOIA request filed in November 2020.
Evans said eventually he received a letter saying that DOJ had some documents that might be responsive -- in other words, that might fall under his FOIA request.
"They had to run it up the flagpole, so to speak, to undefined offices for an analysis," Evans told Sean Hannity.
Then in May 2022, at a court hearing, Evans said a DOJ lawyer repeated that "the DOJ has 400 pages of potentially responsive documents to review and determine what to do with." But in July, the DOJ refused to admit or deny that the documents exist -- after having said they existed.
Sounds like one big cover-up, said Rep. Jim Comer (R-Ky.), the incoming chair of the House Oversight and Reform Committee.
"Well, this is about Joe Biden because these are government e-mails that would show proof that Joe Biden knew about gifts that his son and his brother were receiving from our adversaries," Comer told Hannity Tuesday night.
"That's why we're investigating the Biden family influence-pedaling, and this is the family business. A lot's talked about with regards to Hunter Biden, but Joe Biden's brother Jim was just as involved as Hunter. He was just not dumb enough to leave his laptop laying around.
"And the fact that the government continues to cover this up -- I could make an argument that this has the potential to be one of the biggest cover ups in American history.
"When you look at previous cover-ups, whether it be Watergate, Iran-Contra or even many of the Clinton scandals -- the media was there, hounding the administration all the time with FOIA requests and with requests from committees like the Oversight Committee.
"But what we have here with the Biden cover-up is the mainstream media turns a blind eye. So I strongly support what Mr. Evans is doing with his FOIA request. And I think that will be evidence that we could use to determine whether or not Joe Biden is compromised.
"We know he lied about his family's business schemes, but what we need to know is if this administration is in fact compromised because of all the shady business dealings."
Comer said his committee hopes that the courts, at some point, will force the DOJ to comply with Evans' FOIA requests. Comer also hopes banks "will work with us to turn over the information to prove once and for all that Joe Biden was a central part of the Biden family influence-pedaling."
Hunter Biden complained in emails that "half" of his salary went to paying his fa ther's bills while Joe was vice president.

(CNSNews.com) – A Colorado law firm’s two-year attempt to have the Justice Department provide documents relating to Hunter Biden’s business dealings in China, Russia, and Ukraine comes before a judge again next week, after the plaintiff argued that there was “significant public interest” in the records being released.
Attorney Kevin Evans and Evans Law PLLC sued the DOJ last March, 16 months after first filing a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for documents dealing with the business activities of both President Biden’s son, Hunter, and the president’s brother, James Biden.
Evans wrote in documents before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado that he initiated the action after 15 separate communications with the DOJ over more than a year provided “no real assurance from DOJ as to when it would provide a substantive response.”
In the FOIA request, served on November 19, 2020, Evans asked for material relating to Hunter and James Biden “pertaining to any relationship, communication, gift(s), and/or remuneration in any form with, to or from any individual or entity (government agency or otherwise) from the countries of China, Russia, and/or Ukraine.”
What he received from the DOJ, the following March, were copies of letters between lawmakers (including Republican Sens. Rand Paul, Chuck Grassley, and Ron Johnson) and the Attorney General relating to Hunter Biden’s business deals.

Apart from that correspondence, Evans said the DOJ also provided a copy of a report by the majority staff of the Senate Homeland Security and Finance Committees (the Johnson-Grassley report, released in Sept. 2020) on Hunter Biden’s business dealings, including his role on the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings. (Despite having no prior experience in the gas industry or in Ukraine, Hunter Biden joined Burisma’s board in 2014. According to the Senate GOP staff report he was paid $50,000 a month.)
For months Evans sought more information in line with his FOIA request. He advised DOJ in a letter that he would sue, “[a]bsent a prompt, significant, and substantive response (as opposed to what I have received to date).”
Evans then filed suit last March, seeking a court order for the DOJ to “promptly comply with the request and produce all requested documents.”
During a May 2022 status conference in the case, counsel for the DOJ said it had found 400 pages of documents “potentially responsive” to the FOIA request, that were undergoing review.
But two months after acknowledging the existence of the 400 pages, the DOJ in a letter to the plaintiffs said it “refuse[s] to confirm or deny the existence of such records,” according to court documents.

In defending its “neither confirm nor deny” stance, the DOJ in documents before the court cited two exemptions in the FOIA, both relating to “an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.”
The next hearing in the case – another status conference in the courthouse in Denver, Colo. – has been set down for next Monday.
Evans lodged the original FOIA request after the New York Post published revelations about Hunter Biden’s business dealings, based on emails and messages found on a laptop which he had left at a computer repair shop in Delaware in 2019.
The Post reporting drew attention to alleged attempts by Hunter Biden to benefit in his business interests in Ukraine and China from the position of his father, the then-vice president.
In documents before the court in Colorado, Evans laid out why he believed release of the DOJ documents was indeed a matter of “significant public interest.”
“Any suggestion that Plaintiffs have failed to identify a significant public interest is, with all due respect, an imperious position,” Evans said in a status report last September.
“To the extent there was any confusion here by DOJ, how about public interest in national security concerns and influence peddling? How about concerns as to whether such favors and gifts were provided in exchange for an illicit quid pro quo?”
“How about whether specified individuals are receiving favorable treatment vis-Ã -vis others in a similar position?” Evans continued. “It can hardly be suggested that these are not matters of ‘significant public interest.’”

Arkansas Court Could Force Hunter to Reveal Anonymous Artwork Buyers Hunter Biden 3:52
An Arkansas court could force Hunter Biden to reveal the anonymous buyers of his artwork, according to court documents.
Hunter has been working with a well-connected Chinese art dealer, Georges Bergès, to sell paintings to anonymous buyers for up to $500,000. Hunter has reportedly sold at least five pieces of art for $75,000 each. One of his reported paintings hangs in first lady Jill Biden’s White House office.
The sales raise concerns that Hunter is peddling influence to President Joe Biden through anonymous sales. Rep. James Comer (R-KY) told Breitbart News he believes Chinese officials have purchased Hunter’s art.
Hunter might have to reveal who has bought his art because child support payments are being renegotiated between Hunter and the mother of Hunter’s illegitimate child. The mother of Hunter’s biological son formally requested the Biden scion disclose his art transactions. Child support is often calculated based on the income of both parents.
“The plaintiff asked for detailed information about the defendant’s works of ‘art’ and the purchasers of the same,” the mother’s attorney petitioned the court on December 27.
If Hunter sold paintings worth hundreds of thousands, Hunter’s former request to reduce child support payments could conflict with his substantial art sales.
It is likely Hunter is fighting the claim amid his additional legal trouble with the DOJ and congressional probes. Legal experts estimate Hunter’s legal costs for fighting both institutions could amount to up to $100,000 per month. It is not known how Hunter can afford such fees month after month.
Adam Thompson, a prominent artist from Miami, told Breitbart News he believes Hunter’s art has been sold to anonymous buyers who want to influence the White House.
“If someone genuinely wanted art like Hunter’s, they could go to any rehab facility in the US that does art therapy and find something of equal or higher quality,” Thompson said. “The only value beyond that is the bribe and only a truly disgusting and corrupt person would display that in their home.”
The White House has previously defended Hunter’s “art” scheme. “I can tell you that after careful consideration, a system has been established that allows for Hunter Biden to work in his profession within reasonable safeguards,” former press secretary Jen Psaki stated . “He has the right to pursue an artistic career just like any child of the president has the right to pursue a career.”
The art market is known for corruption. A Senate subcommittee report detailed in 2020 how the art market serves as a vehicle for money laundering. House Republicans are investigating Hunter for money laundering, wire fraud, and tax evasion.
“The Subcommittee’s investigation uncovered a complex set of facts involving shell companies with hidden owners, intermediaries who mask purchasers and sellers, and lax money laundering safeguards in the U.S. art industry,” the report stated. “Secrecy, anonymity, and a lack of regulation create an environment ripe for laundering money and evading sanctions.”
In 2021, Hunter has defended his art scheme as legitimate.
“Fuck ’em… Look, man,” Hunter Biden said on the Nota Bene Podcast, “The value of an artist’s work is, umm, is not necessarily determined by the price. But the price is completely subjective. … It has nothing to do with anything other than, you know, the moment. Like, umm, you know,” Hunter tried to explain. “Taping a banana to the wall. … But, but, but, it means something, and it meant something to someone.”

Report: IRS Audits Target Working, Middle-Class Americans over the Rich

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is targeting low-wage working-class Americans, as well as those in the middle class, with audits while earners making a million or more annually are reviewed at a lower rate, a report detailing federal data reveals.
The data obtained by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) at Syracuse University shows the odds of the IRS auditing a millionaire, in the traditional way carried out by revenue agents or tax auditors, was just 1.1 percent.
The IRS audit rate indicates that barely one out of every 100 millionaires in the United States was audited by revenue agents or tax auditors in Fiscal Year 2022. When correspondence audits — letters sent by the IRS asking for more financial documentation — are included, millionaires were still only audited last year at a rate of 2.4 percent.
An estimated 700,000 millionaires faced no scrutiny from the IRS last year.

Meanwhile, the nation’s lowest income earners making less than $25,000 annually had an IRS audit rate of 1.27 percent. Nearly 8,900 audits on working-class income earners were carried out by revenue agents or tax auditors — fewer than the nearly 8,700 audits, conducted the same way, on millionaires in Fiscal Year 2022.
The TRAC report states:
Millionaires, as discussed previously, did have the highest odds of being audited. However, if one ignores the fiction of auditing a millionaire through simply sending a letter through the mail, the odds that millionaires received a regular audit by a revenue agent (1.1%) was actually less than the audit rate of the targeted lowest income wage-earners whose audit rate was 1.27 percent! [Emphasis added]
Likewise, lower and upper-middle-class Americans earning anywhere from over $25,000 to less than $200,000 saw about 63,000 IRS audits through revenue agents or tax auditors last year and more than 187,000 audits conducted via correspondence letters.
Put another way, 1.9 of every 1,000 middle-class Americans was audited by the IRS last year — higher audit rate compared to millionaires when correspondence audits are excluded.

The data comes as Democrats and President Joe Biden rammed through legislation last year that is set to squeeze $20 billion from mostly working and middle-class Americans through more IRS audits.
As Breitbart News chronicled, 78 to 90 percent of the taxpayer money raised via these new IRS audits and investigations will come from American households earning less than $200,000 a year. Meanwhile, just four to nine percent is expected to come from households earning more than half a million a year.

In 2021, Biden claimed in Idaho his “first job offer” was from a local lumber and wood products business, Boise Cascade. The company said there is “no record” of Biden’s claim.
4) Visiting a Synagogue
Biden claimed in 2021 he visited Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life synagogue, where 11 people were murdered in 2018. Biden did speak to the Tree of Life rabbi. He never visited the synagogue, as he claimed.

5) Unemployment Numbers
Biden claimed in 2022 unemployment was the lowest in 50 years, down from 6.5 percent to 3.5 percent. Biden’s claim was false. The unemployment rate was 3.5 percent under his predecessor.6) Visited Afghanistan
Biden claimed in 2022 he had visited Afghanistan and Iraq twice as president. The New York Post marked Biden’s claim as false.
7) Naval Academy Appointment
Biden claimed in 2022 claimed he was appointed to the Naval Academy in 1965 by the late Sen. J. Caleb Boggs (R-DE). A search of Boggs’ records fails to produce evidence to support Biden’s claim.
8) Beau Died in Iraq
Biden has falsely claimed twice in 2022 that his late son Beau died in Iraq. Beau died at a Maryland hospital.
9) Never Spoken to Hunter About Family Business
Joe Biden falsely claimed in 2019 that he never discussed business deals with Hunter. But Joe Biden left Hunter a voicemail in 2018 about a business deal with Chinese energy giant CEFC, directly contradicting Joe Biden’s statement in 2019.
“Hey pal, it’s Dad. It’s 8:15 on Wednesday night. If you get a chance just give me a call. Nothing urgent. I just wanted to talk to you,” Joe Biden said . “I thought the article released online, it’s going to be printed tomorrow in the Times, was good. I think you’re clear. And anyway if you get a chance give me a call, I love you.”

Biden falsely claimed in 2022 he campaigned in all 54 states. There are only 50 states in the union.
11) Passing Student Loan Legislation
Biden falsely claimed in 2022 he passed “student loan forgiveness.” But no student loan legislation has been passed through Congress.
12) Raised by Puerto Ricans
Biden claimed in 2022 he was “sort of raised in the Puerto Rican community at home, politically.” But Biden told the BBC he is Irish. Media reports suggest Biden is five-eighths Irish, stemming from two Irish families.
13) Gas Prices
Biden falsely claimed the price of gas is “down from over $5 when I took office.” The day before former President Donald Trump left office, the national average price of gas was $2.38.
14) Biden Traveling 17,000 Miles with Chinese President
Biden claimed in 2021 he ‘traveled 17,000 miles with’ Chinese President Xi Jinping. The Washington Post marked Biden’s claims with three Pinocchios.
15) Inflation Is Temporary
Biden claimed in 2022 that inflation was only temporary. Before his statement, inflation had raged for months. About six months later, inflation is still soaring at 7.1%.

‘Twitter Files’ Cites Peter Schweizer: Hunter Biden Earned Millions for Which He ‘Offered No Real Work’

Hunter Biden earned tens of millions of dollars from foreign business deals for which “Hunter offered no real work,” the seventh tranche of “Twitter Files” released by journalist Michael Shellenberger revealed, citing Breitbart News’ senior contributor Peter Schweizer.
Shellenberger on Monday cited Schweizer’s research from his books, Secret Empires and Profiles in Corruption, which detail how the Biden family business is structured to facilitate corrupt business deals with individuals closely associated with foreign governments.
“What we know is that the Biden family has benefited from commercial deals overseas to the tune of tens of millions of dollars. That’s not in dispute. That’s based on the so-called suspicious activity reports that the Treasury Department has released because a U.S. Senate committee asked for it,” Schweizer prefaced in Shellenberger’s “Twitter Files.”
“These documents show the flow of funds from Russian, Ukrainian, and Chinese sources, among others. So we know there’s been a flow of funds. We also know that the people sending that money have very close relationships with the government,” Schweizer explained. “So in the case of China, for example, which I believe is the most troubling of the group of foreign donors, you can actually look on the Hunter Biden laptop and find the businessmen who secured these deals for Hunter Biden.”
“There are four gentlemen that are named. If you look at those four gentlemen, each and every one of them has close ties to the highest levels of Chinese intelligence,” Schweizer spoke specifically. “So for example, one gentleman who he calls the super chairman, at the same time that Hunter Biden secures a deal with him that translates into about $20 million, that same Chinese businessman is business partners with the vice minister of state security in China, who is responsible for foreign recruitment.”
Schweizer questioned how the Biden family could have been paid for work without seemingly providing a service in return.
“So you have the flow of funds, you have the flow of funds from foreign parties that are linked to the government and intelligence services. And then you have the third component of this, which is there’s no discernible service or product or anything that Hunter Biden has brought to the table,” Schweizer said. “So the question has to be asked, why are foreign actors like these four businessmen in China arranging deals worth tens of millions of dollars to the Bidens and not getting anything in return?”
Schweizer explained how Hunter’s earned money is tied to the Biden family business.
“What’s important to point out here is that Hunter Biden is the one who’s the signatory on these deals. But the laptop also shows that money is fungible within the Biden family,” he said. “We know that $2 million that arrived from China ended up with his uncle, James Biden. And we also know that Hunter Biden paid some of his father’s bills while he was vice president of the United States.”
“So this is not a Hunter Biden question. This is a larger Biden family question,” Schweizer concluded.

“We are proud Americans speaking up against an extreme agenda that is putting money and power over everyday Americans,” Courage for America’s mission statement claims.
If you have any doubt whatsoever that CFA is an American organization, its home page is decorated with a flag draped over a barn. The ‘O’ in its logo even includes flag symbolism.
CFA has announced that it’s “forming a council of proud Americans” to fight Republican investigations into the foreign business dealings of Hunter Biden and the rest of the Biden clan.
Waving the flag to cover up the intimidation of elected officials investigating dirty deals with Chinese and Russian oligarchs is a new low even for Biden and his cronies.
Will Hansjörg Wyss , the Swiss billionaire allegedly backing CFA, be on the council of proud Americans? It would be awkward for the foreign tycoon to sit on a “council of proud Americans” since he is not, as far as even the media has been able to determine, an American citizen.
Instead, he appears to be living in America under an investor visa .
That hasn’t stopped the wealthy European from using his fortune to drastically influence American politics with the complicity of the IRS, the FEC and the rest of the government.
This wouldn’t be the first time that Wyss, who was accused of getting rich while killing patients , has broken the rules. And nothing says “proud Americans” fighting for “every American” like a secretive organization that doesn’t list its staff and appears to be funded by a foreign billionaire.
Wyss co-founded Synthes, a medical device manufacturer focused on repairing broken bones. In 2010, Synthes pled guilty to illegally experimenting on patients: its president, and its spine division president and two other executives were sentenced to prison. Even though a manager testified that Wyss had made the decision not to go through clinical trials, and owned half the company, he was not charged and has gone on funding the extreme causes of the Left.
The 5 Americans who died were not so lucky. Some of the dead, like Barbara Marcelino, showed signs of the cement used by Wyss’ company, in their lungs.
Wyss’ Hub Project has poured its money into everything from Democrat redistricting efforts to automatic voter registration with a massive impact on our elections. But this time the Hub appears to be focused on playing defense for Democrats against GOP investigations.
“Our goal is to go on offense against the new House majority,” said Zac Petkanas, Hillary’s former rapid response director, and a political strategist now working on behalf of Courage for America, bragged. “We are going to be pointing out the things that those investigations are distracting from.”
And who better to distract Americans from those investigations into Hunter Biden’s foreign business deals than a shadowy dark money group allegedly funded by a foreign billionaire?
NBC News has reported that Courage for America has a “seven-figure budget and support from the Hub Project, a giant Democratic dark money network, the group plans a robust operation including polling, paid advertising and social media campaigns, along with traditional opposition research and communications.”
But what NBC didn’t bother to mention was that the Hub Project appears to have been set up by the Wyss Foundation . A complaint by Americans for Public Trust noted in a filing that the Hub Project’s business plan “recommended that the group ‘be solely funded by the Wyss Foundation at the outset’ and that it would work behind the scenes to “dramatically shift the public debate and policy positions of core decision makers.”
Courage for America wants to target the Republican House majority and help Democrats fight off investigations into scandals like Hunter Biden and his foreign business operations.
GOP members of the House Oversight and Reform Committee have found 50 countries where the Biden family has looked into doing business. And they also intend to investigate Joe Biden’s role in some of those ventures. These hearings will potentially look into everything from Hunter’s Chinese-backed cobalt mine deal to a Russian oligarch. And the Democrats will defend against allegations that Biden, his brother and his son engaged in dubious business deals with shady foreign tycoons by turning to yet another shady foreign tycoon.
“The American people need to be introduced and educated about the extremist agenda of this new House and also who these members are,” CFA’s Petkanas blustered.
The CFA is so open that its site doesn’t even mention Petkanas, or Naveed Shah: its spokesman . Not only are CFA’s donors secret, but so are its staff and leadership. Instead of listing its staff, CFA references its “council” to divert attention from who is running the show.
That’s suspicious behavior for an organization that claims that it’s all about transparency. CFA is even working with another group calling itself the Congressional Integrity Project which vows to expose the “reality behind Republicans’ politically motivated oversight and investigations targeting President Biden and Democrats.” Nothing says integrity like a dark money machine helping Biden and his cronies intimidate elected officials investigating his corrupt activities.
The level of coordination between CFA, CIP and the Biden administration was revealed when the Washington Post mentioned that , “while the CIP is not formally tied to the White House, its leaders have spoken with President Biden’s aides and it recently brought on Jeff Peck, a former chief-of-staff to Biden from his time in the Senate.”
Biden appears to be covertly coordinating with a dark money machine group funded by a foreign billionaire to stop investigations into his dealings with foreign business interests.
If that’s not impeachable conduct, what is?
“These are sham investigations,” Kyle Herrig of CIP fumed . “We’re going to leave no stone unturned. No one has done the investigative research we’ve done on these investigators. People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.”
“We have a multimillion-dollar budget, and we’re staffing up with a team of researchers and communicators,” he warned.
Where does that “multimillion-dollar budget” come from?
Dark money means that no one knows. The Washington Examiner couldn’t find anyone at CIP’s supposed offices and its spokesperson wouldn’t even provide a name.
This plot to fight investigations into corruption and abuses by the Biden administration has only revived questions about Wyss and his money machine. And the legality of his ongoing efforts to influence our political system for the benefit of the Democrats and the Left.

Republican Babes-in-the-Woods Will Soon Meet the Democrat Realpolitik
When they take control of the House, Republicans have said that they will investigate Joe Biden.
Democrats will not sit still for this and are already preparing to attack any investigations and any Republicans who are involved.
Republicans have made no secret of the fact that in the new Congress, they are planning to use their oversight powers to launch investigations of the Biden clan’s finances, the fiasco at the southern border, and the politicization DOJ/FBI – among other things.
They likely believe that their Democrat colleagues will sit still for this the same way that the Republicans did when they were attacked and demonized over the past six years.
And usual, they’d be wrong.
The Democrats have no intention of sitting quietly while the truth about the Bidens and their ties to China comes out. They intend to not only fight back, but to fire the first shots. As Admiral David Farragut said during the Civil War: “The best defense is a well-directed fire from your own guns.” They see this as a war and intend to fight to win. The Republicans have not yet learned this lesson.
Being early on the attack is nothing new for the Democrats. In 2008, a group of leftist/progressive activist political reporters, bloggers, academics, magazine authors, and policy types led by Ezra Klein formed a group called “Journolist.” Among other things, they reportedly coordinated talking points used in the media to unify the leftist messages attacking conservatives.
An article in the Daily Caller was titled “2008 – The year journalism really died.”
In it they explained how Klein’s group worked to kill any articles linking Barack Obama to racist sermons by Jeremiah Wright when the Obama family attended his church. Their chief tactic was to call anyone supporting the stories racists . Journolist members then denied being partisan propagandists, but outside the Fox News coverage, the Obama/Wright stories ceased in the mainstream press. Coincidentally, Democrats calling political opponents racists for any reason at all is a tactic that continues to this day.
More recently, the Biden administration tried to set up an Orwellian “Ministry of Truth” that they called the Disinformation Governance Board (DGB). Leaked reports say that as early as September 2021 , DHS Secretary Mayorkas had begun work on the DGB.
At first, Secretary Mayorkas said that the DGB would concentrate on disinformation from foreign adversaries and drug cartels. Later he said that the board would focus on international criminal organizations and human traffickers. But leaked documents indicated that from the beginning the DGB was designed to monitor (and intimidate?) the domestic free speech of American citizens on politically controversial subjects such as:
Election security and validity; Efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines; The usefulness of mask mandates; The origins of the COVID-19 virus. It’s likely that anything disadvantageous to the Democrats – would have been called “Disinformation” by the DGB. (First cousin to the KGB?)
Fortunately for Americans, the DGB was dropped due to massive pushback, but there are still issues. Sen. Josh Hawley complained that Mayorkas had lied to him about the DGB not meeting, when its steering committee had met on a weekly basis. Then, since Mayorkas repeatedly said the DGB would only be concerned with foreign entities – did he lie under oath to Congress when it also targeted Americans? And if so, will the Biden DOJ do anything about it?
The real tipping point for new censorship of conservatives came in 2022 when Republicans won the House of Representatives in the midterms. This made it necessary for the Democrats to take control the narrative so they could defend the Biden administration’s globalist agenda. Their plans were to implement information and perception warfare activities – with American voters as the targets and the media as their allies.
A November news report said that the Democrats had set up what they call a “Congressional Integrity Project ” – basically a war room to turn the facts surrounding Biden’s corruption into simple political narratives. This as they feel that with a compliant press they can win a battle of perceptions more easily than they can a battle of facts. One thing they will do is call anything printed by the Republicans as coming from the typical Trump playbook of personal attacks (and racism). This, of course, comes from people who for the last six years have specialized in nothing else but personal attacks on Trump and any non-Democrats – calling them traitors, extremists, and racists.
Another article the Politico (D?), said that the “Congressional Integrity Project” was simply: “Investigating the investigators : Dem strategists to launch counterpunch to House GOP.” They said that it was a multi-million-dollar hub to counter any attacks shedding light on the Bidens, the Dem leadership, and the communist Chinese. They said: “investigate the investigators, expose their political motivations and the monied special interests supporting their work, and hold them accountable for ignoring the urgent priorities of all Americans in order to smear Joe Biden and do the political bidding of Trump and MAGA Republicans.” Translation – forget the truth and focus on how we present our fake talking points + Orange Man Bad. (A multi-million-dollar hub – they always seem to be extremely well funded.)
Along these lines, Biden’s White house recently dismissed the Hunter laptop stories as – Old News. Old News, while at the same time Democrats continue to go back centuries to find dirt on anyone, including Washington, Lincoln, and Jefferson – if it serves their modern socialist propaganda purposes.
At this point it’s good to remember what Paul A. Goble, a former State Department official, said in his article: “How Russian and Soviet Propaganda Differ .”
The Russians he said, had learned that in an information era they could count on deceiving only those who wanted to be deceived. Fortunately for them, he continued, these gullible individuals are extremely numerous. An addition to this would be – and you can count on the American press to keep them gullible and accepting of the socialist messaging.
There are two considerations here. First, much of this came out before Elon Musk released the Twitter emails that exposed the collusion between social media, the DNC, the Biden campaign, and possibly government agencies. But it sure fits the way they have always done business. Second, the empire is already striking back. The mainstream press is already working with/for the Democrats trying to downplay the Laptop from Hell scandal. Additionally, Wikipedia is reportedly considering removing entries on the collusion Twitter Files Elon Musk has released from their site. One reason they gave was that they were nothing new and had been ignored by the media.
Ignored by the media. There you have the Liberal media’s playbook and their most dangerous tool. First, they ignore an inconvenient story – then they say it never happened because they didn’t report it. And if you argue the point they (and all their friends) will call you extremists and racists.
As they say in advertising, if you're explaining you're losing . Democrats attack. The Republicans snivel and defend and never attack. That’s why no one pays any attention to their arguments. This must change if things have any chance of getting better.
