Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) said in a written statement Tuesday that Manhattan prosecutor Alvin Bragg continues to set violent criminals free while he is prosecuting former President Donald Trump.

Blackburn said:

The American people see this for what it is — political prosecution. Soros-backed DA Alvin Bragg is allowing violent criminals to run free in his city while weaponizing the legal system in an attempt to take down a former President. Make no mistake: if the former President’s name were anything but ‘Trump,’ he would not be facing these charges. After Hillary Clinton violated federal election law when she covered up how her campaign spent thousands of dollars to secretly spy on President Trump, she was handed a slap on the wrist. Today’s arraignment is proof that there are two tiers of justice. If they can do this to Trump, they can do it to you. This is fundamentally un-American.

Republicans and other public officials across the political spectrum have backed Trump while Bragg continues his prosecution against the former president.

Even Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT), who does not back Trump and even voted to impeach him, said in a written statement:

I believe President Trump’s character and conduct make him unfit for office. Even so, I believe the New York prosecutor has stretched to reach felony criminal charges in order to fit a political agenda. No one is above the law, not even former presidents, but everyone is entitled to equal treatment under the law. The prosecutor’s overreach sets a dangerous precedent for criminalizing political opponents and damages the public’s faith in our justice system.

The charges and evidence will be duly considered and the outcome decided by a jury with an obligation to fulfill its responsibility with the utmost care and impartiality. The American voters will ultimately render their own judgment on the former President’s political future.

Finally, it is also incumbent on all elected leaders to discourage violence and anger in response to this situation.

During a press conference on Tuesday, Bragg said that Trump falsified business records to cover up crimes relating to the 2016 presidential election:

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, during his 2021 Democrat primary race, campaigned on suing the Trump administration more than 100 times, a video unearthed by the Republican National Committee shows.

“Let’s talk about what is waiting for the new DA — the docket,” Bragg said about upcoming future cases for the new DA. “We know there is a Trump investigation.”

Bragg then explained why he should be elected as DA according to his record of prosecuting Trump and his family.

“I have investigated Trump and his children and held them accountable for their misconduct with the Trump Foundation,” he said.

“I also sued the Trump administration more than 100 times for DACA, the travel ban, separation of children from their families at the border,” he boasted. “So, I know that work. I know how to follow the facts and know how to hold people in power accountable.”

After easily winning the general election, Bragg refused to bring charges against Trump in 2022 over the family’s real estate practices. Upon receiving criticism from his far-left constituents, he excused the lack of prosecution on the case’s readiness.

Bragg did not stop with the real estate inquiry. Bragg won a conviction late last year of the Trump Organization on charges of orchestrating a 15-year tax fraud, though Trump personally was not charged in the incident.

A few months later, Bragg’s office began presenting evidence to the grand jury about payments to Stormy Daniels. In March, Bragg convinced the jury in New York to indict Trump. Legal experts believe the case holds little merit. Law professor Jonathan Turley criticized it as “legally pathetic.” 

Meanwhile, since assuming office in early 2022, Bragg has built a career on declining to bring felony charges, decreasing felony convictions, downgrading felonies to misdemeanors, and failing to request bail for suspects accused of felonies.

“This is Political Persecution and Election Interference at the highest level in history,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “You remember it just like I do: Russia, Russia, Russia; the Mueller Hoax; Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine; Impeachment Hoax 1; Impeachment Hoax 2; the illegal and unconstitutional Mar-a-Lago raid; and now this,” Trump added.

Report: Alvin Bragg Wants Trump Trial in January 2024, During Republican Primary

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg reportedly asked Judge Juan Marchan to hold the trial of former President Donald Trump in January 2024, which happens to be the middle of the presidential primary season.

Fox News reporter Jake Gibson, who was in the courtroom, said that prosecutors had asked for the January 2024 trial date. The Iowa caucuses — the first contest in the Republican primary — will be on February 5, 2024.

That means prosecutors want a trial that would undoubtedly affect the race for the Republican nomination, both by distracting the current frontrunner, and by tarnishing him relative to other candidates in the race.

The requested date would also deprive Republican voters of the opportunity to choose another candidate, in the event that Trump was found guilty. It would force them to vote while the outcome of the trial is still in question.

In 2020, Trump was forced to campaign for reelection during his impeachment trial, which was brought by Democrats, and which was ultimately unsuccessful. The trial also forced several Democratic candidates — with the notable exception of Joe Biden, who did not hold elected office — to attend the trial in the Senate instead of campaigning in Iowa and New Hampshire.

Trump’s defense attorneys want the charges dismissed, but would prefer an earlier trial date if the case continues, so that it is out of the way well ahead of the presidential race.

Claim: Liberal billionaire George Soros "did not contribute" to Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg’s political campaign.

Who said it: Members of the media, Soros himself.

Why it matters: Soros’s potential links to Bragg have become a hot-button issue after the prosecutor charged former president Donald Trump over alleged hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels. Republicans say that Soros, who funds numerous anti-Trump causes, helped Bragg get into office. Democrats have in turn accused Republicans of pushing anti-Semitic conspiracy theories that Soros, who is Jewish, is pulling the strings of the Trump investigation.

Context: Soros is by far the largest donor to Color of Change PAC, a left-wing group that was Bragg’s biggest campaign contributor. Color of Change in May 2021 pledged to spend $1 million to support Bragg’s campaign. Days after the endorsement, Soros contributed $1 million to Color of Change PAC. That was by far the largest individual donation to Color of Change that year. The next largest contribution was $50,000, according to campaign finance records.

Soros has given $1,450,000 in all directly to Color of Change PAC and millions more through other committees he funds. Democracy PAC, which is funded almost entirely by Soros, gave $2.5 million to Color of Change PAC in 2020, records show.

A progressive group called Win Justice contributed $2,025,133 to Color of Change PAC in 2020. Soros is by far that group’s biggest backer. He gave $5 million of his own money to Win Justice in 2018 and another $5 million through Democracy PAC in 2020.

Color of Change, which has long called for Trump’s prosecution, praised the Trump indictment on Thursday.

"In this historic moment, Color Of Change applauds New York County District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who refused to let corporate influence, racist right-wing attacks, and threats of violence interfere with holding the former president accountable. This is the kind of political courage we need from every district attorney in the country," said Color of Change president Rashad Robinson, who is perhaps best known for stoking actor Jussie Smollett’s hate crime hoax.

Analysis: Soros says that he "did not contribute" to Bragg and has never met the prosecutor.

"I think some on the right would rather focus on far-fetched conspiracy theories than on the serious charges against the former president," he told Semafor.

While Soros did not write a check directly to Bragg’s campaign, his cash almost certainly flowed to the prosecutor’s election war chest through the anti-police, anti-Trump Color of Change PAC. Regardless of whatever pressure Soros did or did not place on Bragg’s investigation, both he and Color of Change are happy with the outcome, as indicated by their statements about Trump’s indictment.

The reaction to the unprecedented indictment of President Trump was predictable.

Most of Trump adversaries responded with unrestrained jubilation.

The former director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, James Comey reacted to the news with delight.

Yes, this is the former head of the foremost law enforcement agency in the U.S.

What a fall in standards.

Now that a fall in standards has been mentioned, we examine a tweet from Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Pelosi claimed that the Grand Jury has acted upon the facts and the law.

So let’s look at the facts first.

President Trump has denied the affair with Stormy Daniel. In a 2018 letter that surfaced recently, Daniel also denied that the affair ever occurred, despite claiming otherwise in public.

Another 2018 letter proves that neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign was a party to the transaction. Also, Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen was not reimbursed for the payment by any organizations affiliated to Trump.

Since the transaction didn’t occur at Trump’s behest, the case has no basis.

Even if Trump had directed Cohen to make hush payments and the Trump Organization had reimbursed him for the payment to Daniels but billed them as legal expenses, it would constitute a misdemeanor for which the statute of limitations has run out.

Back to Pelosi’s tweet. Pelosi wrote:

“No one is above the law, and everyone has the right to a trial to prove innocence.”

This is nothing short of a shocking statement, especially from a lawmaker with many decades of experience. The presumption of innocence is the standard in any civilized democracy -- anyone accused of any crime is considered innocent until proven guilty. The legal burden of proof lies on the prosecution, which must present compelling face-based evidence to before a judge or a jury. The prosecution must prove that the accused is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. If reasonable doubt remains, the accused must be acquitted.

The presumption of innocence is also an international human right under the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 11.

This is the legal standard in the U.S.

Let's look at what the law specifically states:

“It is a cardinal principle of our system of justice that every person accused of a crime is presumed to be innocent unless and until his or her guilt is established beyond a reasonable doubt. The presumption is not a mere formality. It is a matter of the most important substance.

The presumption of innocence alone may be sufficient to raise a reasonable doubt and to require the acquittal of a defendant. The defendant before you, [__________], has the benefit of that presumption throughout the trial, and you are not to convict [him/her] of a particular charge unless you are persuaded of [his/her] guilt of that charge beyond a reasonable doubt.

The presumption of innocence until proven guilty means that the burden of proof is always on the government to satisfy you that [defendant] is guilty of the crime with which [he/she] is charged beyond a reasonable doubt. The law does not require that the government prove guilt beyond all possible doubt; proof beyond a reasonable doubt is sufficient to convict. This burden never shifts to [defendant]. It is always the government's burden to prove each of the elements of the crime[s] charged beyond a reasonable doubt by the evidence and the reasonable inferences to be drawn from that evidence. [Defendant] has the right to rely upon the failure or inability of the government to establish beyond a reasonable doubt any essential element of a crime charged against [him/her].

If, after fair and impartial consideration of all the evidence, you have a reasonable doubt as to [defendant]'s guilt of a particular crime, it is your duty to acquit [him/her] of that crime. On the other hand, if, after fair and impartial consideration of all the evidence, you are satisfied beyond a reasonable doubt of [defendant]'s guilt of a particular crime, you should vote to convict [him/her].”

It is unlikely that Pelosi isn’t aware of the legal standards in the U.S. Perhaps her feeling of schadenfreude got the better of her, or maybe this is a warning for others who support the MAGA agenda. Pelosi know that such claims will receive no condemnation in D.C. because the target is President Trump.

Thankfully Elon Musk’s Twitter flagged Pelosi’s Tweet and presented context to it in the community notes feature.

So are there any countries where the accused is guilty until proven innocent?

They are mostly third-world countries or theocratic or military dictatorships where the might of the law is used to target opponents and dissidents. Irrespective of what their constitution says, dissidents were presumed guilty until proven innocent.

This is how the law operated in Stalin's Russia, Nazi Germany, Mussolini's Italy, Franco’s Spain etc.

It is not just President Trump who has been the recipient of this treatment. The January 6th protestors held in the District of Columbia jail have complained of being subjected to inhumane conditions. The constant delays in hearings and postponements dragged out for over a year caused so much trauma to one of the accused that he committed suicide.

This remains the goal behind the exercise, to make the process the punishment.

To drag the trial along, and to drain all their resources and spirits of the accused. To sully reputations permanently. To make the accused feel worse than the worst of criminals in the U.S.

They know that these stories spread like wildfire and most people seeking a life of peace for themselves and their families choose to refrain from challenging the Democrats merely to avoid hardships.

Doubtlessly many citizens must have refrained from showing any overt support to the MAGA cause for fear of being persecuted by the Democrats.

This is a win for the likes of Pelosi who want to turn the U.S. into a third-world dictatorship where government agencies such as law enforcement and the judiciary are used to target opponents and outlaw political opposition.

Their goal is to have a single-party state.

Yes, there will be Republicans and Democrats who disagree in minor issues, but on all the major issues of consequence there is a total consensus.

The ball is now in the court of the Republicans and the citizens all over the nation.

In perilous times, there is no greater sin than inaction.

George Soros has for decades sought to destroy America as founded.  Jewish by birth but a Nazi by choice, it is not hyperbolic to call him a devil incarnate. He is perhaps the most purely evil human who has used his vast wealth solely for malevolent purposes.  His antipathy for the United States is pathological and he has spent his billions on countless projects to bring this nation to its knees.  

Like any and every Marxist, he advocates for chaos. The man is Faust’s Mephistopheles, Satan, and Lucifer all rolled into a one-man wicked wrecking ball who should have been stopped decades ago.  Now he has installed carefully chosen serfs for all the wrong reasons, numerous DAs, AGs, and Secretaries of State throughout the country to do his bidding – to effect Cloward and PIven!  DAs like Alvin Bragg got their orders from Soros’ headquarters with the $1.1m Soros funneled to install him in office.   Soros does not spend his money on smart people. He spends on people he can depend upon to do what he tells them to do:  Get Trump.  See Alan Dershowitz’s book.

Bragg, elected in 2021, has been a disaster for Manhattan.  He refuses to seek bail or sentences for violent criminals – armed robbery, drug dealing, violent attacks on innocent civilians and burglary.  Nine of the prosecutors  in the Manhattan office quit when he announced his pro-criminal agenda.  He was installed for one reason, one reason only, to facilitate crime and to take down Donald Trump.  I hope that, along with all the other Soros-installed DAs, he will go down in flames when his pro-criminal, anti-Americanism becomes clear.  How did he even pass the bar?  Has he even read the Constitution?  

Chesa Boudin, former DA in San Francisco, has been recalled; by San Franciscans!  Los Angeles DA George Gascon was effectively recalled but the left’s expertise at cheating has kept him in office. Under Gascon, homicide rates have soared as has shoplifting by mobs of looters who are never arrested.   

Kim Foxx, DA in Chicago, is another of Soros’s tools, the one who dropped charges against Jussie Smollett!  On her watch Chicago has endured the largest spike in murder in over thirty years.  Larry Krasner in Philadelphia, Kim Gardner in St. Louis; she has been caught lying about police officers who pulled her over, has admitted to campaign finance violations and saw her city become the murder capital of the country.  There are so many more.  Crime in each of these cities has escalated catastrophically as if by Soros magic.  Soros Dso proud.

The democrat party, no longer remotely liberal but Marxist, does not care about anything but keeping Trump out the White House so Soros’s meddling in our politics is just fine with them.  They have long embraced Soros’s money, for themselves and for however much of his illegal and unconstitutional election interference it takes to win.  They do not mind his putting morons in office as long as they do what they are told.  Indicting Trump?  Bragg is doing what he’s been told to do.

Unsurprisingly, Katie Hobbs, the illegitimate governor of Arizona, is a Soros slave. He got her elected as Arizona’s Secretary of State.  She apparently wants her state’s border with Mexico to remain open. She supports the sexual grooming of children in schools, CRT, etc.  She’s an enemy of her state.  Alvin Bragg is an enemy of his state and is so brazen he is now outed himself as an enemy of the law. He is a classic useful idiot.  He probably has no idea that he has opened Pandora’s Box and that he will likely be consumed by the illegitimacy of his folly.

Like every member of Biden’s cabinet, who were chosen for their skin color or sexual orientation, none of Soros’s DAs were chosen for the intellectual competence.  They were selected to do the radical left’s bidding, Soros’s bidding – promote crime, create chaos – destructive riots, violence, etc.  That is what Bragg’s indictment of Trump is meant to do as well.  

The left is hoping for violence they can pin on Trump supporters but if violence occurs, it will be, like J6, calculated by the left, incited by Antifa and/or FBI/CIA embeds, or paid for by Soros via many of his front organizations.  Those institutions have many years of experience at exactly that sort of exercise.  They learned their craft from the FBI, the CIA and the DOJ.  Now some Americans know how corrupt each of those agencies is and under Biden are likely remain corrupt. 

Bragg’s indictment of Trump should be the most serious wake-up call for all Americans.  While it began under Obama, America is being transformed into a police state, one where people are being imprisoned for their dissent from the regime’s narrative.  We no longer enjoy freedom of speech or religion.  Ask any mildly conservative college student.  They cannot speak freely without being cancelled, punished or expelled.  

Our elections are not at all secure or fair.  The Biden administration is bogus, achieved by massive fraud.  And now they have indicted the former and potentially future President in yet another ruse to take him down and out. Chances are he will not go quietly into that good night.  He should have all of us at his back fighting the good fight.   

There was a time when we elected people of integrity and expertise in their chosen field.  This is no longer the case.  Wokery -  CRT, DEI, ESG, LGB, transgenderism, etc.  – these nonsensical ideologies are killing us, destroying academia, indoctrinating our young people.   The globalists want to erase national boundaries, erase national sovereignty.  They want to ban any and all religious faiths and make serfs of us all.  The WEF and China are fast on our heels.  They are winning with Biden’s willing capitulation.  

The Alvin Braggs are weapons in their war against the American people who want only to preserve the freedoms the Founders designed for us.

Disgraced former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried tried to build a political empire to rival Democrat megadonor George Soros.

Puck News reporter Theodore Schleifer wrote that Bankman-Fried personally bought a Democrat startup, Deck, spending roughly $4 to $5 million to buy out the existing investors to the Democrat analytics firm. Bankman-Fried reportedly heard about the startup from Mind the Gap, a Democrat donor network founded by his mother, Barbara Bankman-Fried.

The purchase of Deck served as Bankman-Fried’s political scheme to be the “biggest donor in the Democratic Party,” even outshining Democrat megadonor.

Bankman-Fried and Ryan Salame, co-CEO of FTX Digital Markets, served as two of the largest donors to Republicans and Democrats last cycle. Bankman-Fried fell just below Soros as the largest Democrat donor.

In all, Bankman-Fried donated roughly $40 million to Democrat politicians and PACs, while Salame gave about $23 million to Republicans and PACs supporting the GOP.

I have previously reported that S.B.F.’s team was actively looking for future advisors to join them in drafting “plays” for the 2024 cycle, and that one of those ideas was to fund some more progressive organizations, for instance. Some of those plans were already underway. I have learned in recent days that S.B.F. was already quietly funding some experiments across the Democratic ecosystem, such as randomized-controlled trials that might have yielded data that could help Democrats in 2024, according to two people familiar with the work, by assessing the impact of things like community newsletters, Facebook ads, and so-called “relational organizing.”

In all, the report suggested that Bankman-Fried might have spent roughly $100 million, but according to Schleifer, “That could be an undercount.”

The daughter of the judge overseeing former President Donald Trump’s case worked on the Biden-Harris campaign, according to a report as well as an online search.

Judge Juan Merchan’s daughter is Loren Merchan, president and partner of Authentic Campaigns, a company that runs digital campaigns for Democrat candidates, according to Merchan’s archived LinkedIn account.

The company’s website has a testimonial from Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) which states, “We partner with our clients to build award-winning online programs for progressive campaigns.”

According to Merchan’s archived LinkedIn account, she worked as the “Director of Digital Persuasion” for “Kamala Harris For The People” from February 2019 through December 2019 — which was during the 2020 presidential election. And according to the company’s website, the “Biden-Harris” campaign was also a client.

Merchan’s LinkedIn account was disabled following a report by Gateway Pundit, which first reported on her work history.

Eric Trump, the former president’s son, tweeted: “They are all hand picked. It is all pre-arranged. This corruption is on a different level.”

Judge Merchan presided over a previous Trump-related case involving the Trump Organization and its former Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg. During that case, Merchan said he would not allow Trump Organization attorneys to accuse Manhattan prosecutors of targeting the company out of animus for Trump, according to CBS News.

“I will not allow you in any way to bring up a selective prosecution claim, or claim this is some sort of novel prosecution,” he reportedly said, adding he would “have very little patience at trial any questions that are not in a good faith basis.”

Merchan sentenced Weisselberg to five months in prison and ordered the Trump Organization to pay a $1.6 million fine, the maximum under state law, according to Fox News. Merchan is also the judge presiding over the fraud case against Steve Bannon in relation to the “We Build the Wall” organization, the outlet reported.

The arrest of former President Donald Trump serves as an “unprecedented and chilling chapter in the Left’s weaponization of the justice system,” House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik (R-NY) said on Tuesday.

“The shameful arrest of President Trump is an unprecedented and chilling chapter in the Left’s weaponization of the justice system against their leading political opponent,” Stefanik said in an emailed statement on the same day Trump headed to the courthouse.

“This dangerous and illegal overreach by a radical DA has completely backfired for the corrupt Far Left Democrats who would rather desperately tear apart the fabric of our country than face President Trump at the ballot box,” she continued, asserting that the American people “know this is politically charged and that President Trump will defeat these charges in court and turn the tables on the Far Left Democrats by exposing their corruption and abuse of power.”

“President Trump continues to skyrocket in the polls, and just like with the Russia hoax and both sham impeachments, President Trump will defeat this latest witch-hunt, defeat Joe Biden, and will be sworn in as President of the United States of America in January 2025,” she added.

The statement comes as Trump is at the Manhattan courthouse, pleading not guilty to 34 charges.

Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), who previously served as White House Physician to former President Donald Trump, slammed Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for “manipulating” a presidential election by “fulfill[ing] his campaign promise” to go after Trump.

“Alvin Bragg is manipulating a Presidential election and the rule of law to advance the rabid far-Left political agenda of those that put him in office,” Jackson said in a statement slamming the district attorney over the indictment of Trump.

“He only wants to indict President Trump because it fulfills his campaign promise and appeases the criminal left! This spineless weasel Bragg is making up the law as he goes because he doesn’t have the courage to do his damn job,” Jackson asserted.

The congressman was referring to Bragg’s campaigning to get the former president if elected. As Breitbart News reported, during Bragg’s 2021 Democrat primary race, he campaigned on suing the Trump administration more than 100 times.

As seen in the video compiled by the Republican National Committee (RNC), Bragg explained that he should be elected as district attorney based on his record of prosecuting the former president and his family.

Breitbart News wrote:

After easily winning the general election, Bragg refused to bring charges against Trump in 2022 over the family’s real estate practices. Upon receiving criticism from his far-left constituents, he excused the lack of prosecution on the case’s readiness.

Bragg did not stop with the real estate inquiry. Bragg won a conviction late last year of the Trump Organization on charges of orchestrating a 15-year tax fraud, though Trump personally was not charged in the incident.

[S]ince assuming office in early 2022, Bragg has built a career on declining to bring felony charges, decreasing felony convictions, downgrading felonies to misdemeanors, and failing to request bail for suspects accused of felonies.

Jackson continued, “This is a dangerous partisan political stunt. Hope he enjoys his fifteen minutes of fame because Congress will be coming after him when this is done!”

Last week, a Manhattan grand jury voted to indict Trump for his alleged role in paying “hush money” to a porn star –Stormy Daniels.

The felony indictment was filed under seal by the Manhattan District Attorney’s office. It was unsealed on Tuesday during Trump’s arraignment, where he pleaded not guilty before State Supreme Court Justice Juan M. Merchan, showing he was charged with 34 felonies.

Last Thursday, after the reports indicated that the Manhattan grand jury voted to formally indict him, Trump posted on Truth Social, stating, “This is Political Persecution and Election Interference at the highest level in history.”

“You remember it just like I do: Russia, Russia, Russia; the Mueller Hoax; Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine; Impeachment Hoax 1; Impeachment Hoax 2; the illegal and unconstitutional Mar-a-Lago raid; and now this,” Trump added.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio (R) warned on Tuesday that the unprecedented indictment of former President Donald Trump will set “a damaging new normal” of enabling rogue prosecutors to go after their political enemies.

Rubio released a nearly two-minute video on Twitter ahead of the expected arraignment of Trump, calling the day “a bad day for all of us.”

“Put aside for a moment whether you like Trump or [do not] like him, whether you are for him or not for him…Today, American politics crosses a line that it is never going to come back from,” Rubio said. 

“After today, especially on the basis of how ridiculous these charges are … every prosecutor in America that wants to make a name for themselves now is going to have permission to basically go after someone in the other party,” the senator continued. 

“What’s going to stop some Republican or conservative prosecutor now from saying, ‘Well now I’m going to go after Joe Biden or his family, or Bill Clinton, or Hillary Clinton or Nancy Pelosi’ — whoever? What’s going to stop them? Nothing is going to stop them because today we set a new normal,” he said. 

Rubio said Trump’s indictment sets the precedent that  “if you really want to take someone down, nothing should stop you” and that prosecutors will be able to “manipulate the law” any way they desire in order to charge someone.

“And what really is damaging is that the charges here are absurd. You’re talking about a misdemeanor, if proven, a misdemeanor that had a statute of limitations that expired,” he continued. “So this prosecutor has decided to link it to a federal charge, an election law charge, that the federal government decided not to pursue, and all of it built on the testimony of a convicted liar.”

Many reports indicate that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg brought charges against Trump related to allegations that the former president hid a $130,000 payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels in 2016. Yahoo News also published an alleged leak on Monday night, claiming Trump would face “34 felony counts for falsification of business records.” Exactly what Trump stands accused of will not become public until the indictment is published, which is expected on Tuesday. 

“And so people see this for what it is: it is political. But it’s more than just political, it’s poison to our country. It will permanently change politics in America forever,” the senator added. 

Rubio concluded by warning that Americans will “regret this day whether you like Trump or not.”

“We are setting a new normal — a damaging new normal — that is going to disfigure American politics and put us on a destructive road. We are going to regret this day for a very, very long time,” he said.

In only 7 years, a Hollywood dystopian thriller seems to have partially come true.

While talking to my brother, he mentioned the 2016 thriller movie Jason Bourne in which the former CIA assassin discovers that the agency has killed his father and aims to control individuals’ data through an internet app that secretly collects this information.  Through this method the evil director of the agency can manipulate and control the government bureaucracy.  Is life imitating art or were the writers, director Paul Greengrass and Oscar-winner Christopher Rouse using characters created by novelist Robert Ludlum, warning us what was coming?

Today, there can be no doubt that their ideas have come to fruition.  The FBI clearly interacted with social media giants to influence the 2020 Presidential election by having these companies bury the information regarding the Hunter Biden laptop computer.  Going further, these platforms cut off accurate information, acting as editors, for weeks.  In this way the government censored free speech through a third party, allowing some deniability for violating the First Amendment.

The arguments over the app known as Tik Tok center over whether this program is a spyware for the Communist Party of China.  But this is not the only app capable of spying.  How about the National Security Agency which gather data from all our calls?

Our bureaucracies have sought to exercise control over immigration for nefarious purposes.  The illegal migrants will eventually have children who will gain birthright citizen status.  This will give their parents a greater chance to gain employment status and government benefits.  Eventually they might gain citizenship too, but this will take years.  But the greater damage is the entrance of illegal drugs into our society killing around 100,000 yearly.  This is not incompetence by Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas but intentional destruction of our federalism and constitutional government.  He was not truthful at the Senate hearing last week when he denied knowledge of the cartel bracelets.  He could not define assault weapons that he wants to ban.

While in the thriller, people are eliminated via death, over the last 7 years the establishment has sought to exit Donald Trump through political and legal means.  Now that he has been indicted in NYC, I expect the same to happen in deep blue Atlanta and Washington, D.C. whether the facts and law support such a finding.  The Washington establishment has determined that Trump poses too great a threat to their power, influence and financial position.  This includes persons from both major parties.

While corruption and stupidity helped destroy the Roman empire as well as many other historic powers, we can see this trend within our country.  While we do not have a super hero as in the movies and novels, we do have the chance to use our brains and reject this abuse.  Republicans and reasonable moderates and independents must wake up and vote to end this corruption and abuse of power.  If the numbers are high then the opposition can not cheat in highly Democrat districts taking critical battleground states and congressional districts.  Maybe those who have been sleeping will realize that if they can do this to Trump, with all his money and position what can they do to us?

Former FBI Director James Comey celebrated the indictment of former President Donald Trump on Thursday at the hands of Soros-funded Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

In a tweet that made no mention of Trump, Comey just said, “It’s been a good day.”

Conservatives and Trump supporters pounced on him.

“One of the best decisions President Trump made was firing FBI Director James Comey. Comey epitomizes everything wrong with America’s justice system. Corrupt. Arrogant. Self-righteous. Delusional,” tweeted Article III Project founder Mike Davis.

“Remember when the media and other regime members tried to say this guy was above board?” tweeted Federalist editor Mollie Hemingway.

“Not as good as the one that’s coming,” tweeted Breitbart editor-at-large Joel Pollak.

“Tell me again about this non-politically motivated secret police we have running around this country? Yr a certifiable psychopath,” tweeted Amanda Miliums. “Anyone sticking around any part of DOJ come tmrw should be locked up til their crime is found.”

As Breitbart News reported, several Never Trump Republicans and RINOs came out to celebrate the former president’s indictment.

“While I’m skeptical this indictment will be Trump’s political undoing: defending him is defending: manipulating business records to conceal a campaign finance violation resulting from paying hush money to conceal an extramarital affair. Facts are facts. The law is the law,” tweeted former Trump staffer Alyssa Farah Griffin.

“Happy First Indictment to all those who celebrate,” exclaimed NeoCon Bill Kristol.

“Pointing out the obvious: Not even Trump’s most fervent defenders–not even Trump–deny that he paid hush money to Stormy Daniels just before the 2016 election. That’s an uncontested fact. It’s not as important a fact as his attempt to subvert the 2020 election—but it’s a fact,” Kristol later added.

“Today is a somber day for our nation. Donald Trump committed many crimes, but this indictment should be a reminder that in America, NO ONE is above the law. We must move forward and let justice prevail. The anti-democratic threat, however, hasn’t diminished,” tweeted former Rep. Adam Kinzinger.

And then of course, there’s Joe’s embarrassment of a son, Hunter. The Biden family has no compunctions about selling America out to our enemies or dragging us into a nuclear war with Russia.

Christopher Wray and the Politicization of the FBI

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has shocked many Americans by becoming a politicized law enforcement arm of the Democrat party. As the target of one of the FBI and Department of Justice political attacks -- solely because I had been talking to Ukrainian whistleblowers about Biden family corruption in that country -- I want to discuss the problem.  It starts with the most political Director of the FBI, Christopher Wray.

How exactly did Wray become Director? The saga of who headed the most prestigious and respected (previous to Wray) law enforcement agency under Donald Trump includes political naiveite as well as sophistication, depending on the actor.

The naiveite begins with the Trump transition team.  My husband (and law partner) Joe diGenova and I sent message after message to the team to have President-elect Trump fire then-Director James Comey immediately. We were well aware of his many instances of harassing conservatives with baseless federal investigations. 

We were informed that “New Yorkers” on Trump’s team thought it would look “unseemly.” They were unaware that cleaning house in a new administration is regular order in D.C.  How did it look months later when Trump fired Comey in the midst of the Russia, Russia, Russia! investigation?

Having limited knowledge of both Washington politics (one must know who the alligators are to drain the swamp) and federal law enforcement, Trump turned to a person who should have such knowledge to propose a Comey replacement: former U.S. Attorney (Eastern District of New Jersey) and former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.  Christie had been a political opponent, then avid supporter of Trump.  What better background for a person asked to suggest a new FBI Director.  Christie’s choice: Chris Wray.

The Christie/Wray relationship was cemented when Wray represented Christie in the “Bridgegate” debacle, which occurred while Christie was governor. The scandal began on September 9, 2013, when two of three toll lanes on the George Washington Bridge were closed during rush hour, creating traffic jams in Ft. Lee, NJ.  There were reports that paramedics were delayed getting to victims, further exacerbating the political uproar.  

It was later claimed that the lanes had been intentionally closed to punish Ft. Lee’s Democrat Mayor Mark Sokolich, who had not supported Christie for Governor. 

Three aides for Christie were indicted on fraud charges, which were later overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court. Although the aides testified that they had discussed the lane closing with Christie, he was not indicted.  Significantly, his cell phone, which would have revealed all his conversations and texts regarding the bridge closure, went “missing.”  

At some point Christie admitted it was in the possession of Wray although he had previously claimed the government had it.  Curiously, federal prosecutors never pursued Wray to obtain it.  Could it be because Wray knew the key federal prosecutors from the days he directed all U.S. Attorney offices as Assistant Attorney General (AAG), Criminal Division of DOJ, under George W. Bush? 

As Christie describes Wray, whom he had met when Wray was AAG and Christie was U.S Attorney, “When I was at the absolute lowest point of my professional life, he’s who I called.”  What a debt.  And what a sophisticated payback.

Recently, Trump admitted on Hannity he chose Wray because Christie recommended him and people on “the other side” (Democrats) agreed.

Joe and I met Wray at the same time Christie did … as AAG.   We reported to him misconduct by a U.S. Attorney who, while investigating his political opponent, was threatening witnesses with exposing their sexual infidelities unless they testified as he wanted before a Grand Jury.  The investigation was based on converting a county misdemeanor election law violation into a RICO offense, an unethical prosecutorial overreach.  Wray refused to rein in the U.S. Attorney or even look into the allegations. None of the victims were interviewed.  It mattered not that the prosecutor was violating the law and professional ethics.

So, it is no surprise that during his tenure at the FBI, overreach is the order of the day.  Wray sent more than a dozen agents with automatic weapons to rouse Roger Stone and his wife before dawn, with firearms drawn and an alerted CNN recording it all.  Wray sent FBI agents to Reagan Airport to shackle Peter Navarro publicly for a misdemeanor and subsequently imprison him.   

Then there is the August 2022 FBI armed raid of Mar-a-Lago searching for presidential records/classified documents, a dispute usually settled civilly without federal law enforcement, as it was handled when President Joe Biden possessed classified information.

Last fall, Wray sent 20-plus FBI agents with long guns, wearing armored vests and helmets and carrying a battering ram, to arrest pro-life protester Mark Houck in front of his wife and seven children.  The crime? A shoving incident in front of an abortion clinic. The state prosecutor had declined to bring charges. Houck, who was acquitted in January, had offered to turn himself in if charges were brought.

These are tactics I utilized when I prosecuted terrorists and dangerous drug dealers, never for white collar crimes. Never for a misdemeanor.

At least the FBI agents Wray sent to my house in April 2021with a search warrant seeking documents I never had and specifying a crime that never occurred, were professional.  They repeatedly apologized for being there and said that although they had the authority to search the entire house, they would not do so, only taking my cell phone (with all my clients’ privileged information). 

Wray is teaching FBI agents that politicizing law enforcement is acceptable.  If the target is of a certain political persuasion any technique may be used.   If Wray remains Director, the overreaching will continue.  He needs to leave while there are still some professionals left in the FBI rank and file.

Wray’s politicized raid cost us over $500,000 in legal fees.  We had to protect our clients’ privileged information, which Wray authorized seizing even though the search of a lawyer’s client information violates DOJ rules. An Israeli think tank executive who served alongside Hunter Biden as an adviser to a Chinese energy conglomerate widely suspected of serving as a front for the Chinese Communist Party now says he provided the FBI with damning information about the Biden family’s foreign business dealings.

Gal Luft, the co-director of the Washington-based Institute for the Analysis of Global Security, says he provided information about Hunter Biden, his father, and his uncle, Jim Biden, to the Justice Department in March 2019. Luft served as an adviser to CEFC China Energy, a conglomerate that "aligned itself so closely with the Chinese government that it was often hard to distinguish between the two," according to CNN. The group, which donated at least $350,000 to Luft’s think tank, paid Hunter Biden at least $6 million in 2017 to procure energy investment deals in the United States.

Luft’s claims come as a former Hunter Biden business partner, Eric Schwerin, has started cooperating with the House Oversight Committee’s investigation of the Biden family’s foreign business dealings. Investigators have focused heavily on Hunter Biden’s work with CEFC China Energy. The Justice Department has investigated Hunter Biden since 2018 over his taxes and foreign business dealings, though the case appears to be focused on the first son’s unpaid taxes.

Luft’s threat to "name names" comes after his arrest in Cyprus on Feb. 16 on charges that he illegally sold weapons to Libya and China. Luft asserts that the United States is seeking his extradition as part of a "politically motivated" payback for his exposure of the Bidens.

"DOJ is trying to bury me to protect Joe, Jim & Hunter Biden," Luft said. An Israeli lawyer for Luft claims his client provided information about Hunter Biden to the FBI in 2019.

While Luft’s claims might otherwise be easily dismissed as a bluff, his connection to CEFC China Energy suggests he may know something about the Bidens. And an American lawyer for Luft has signaled he will provide information to Congress about Luft’s case.

"Dr. Luft is a whistleblower," Luft attorney Robert Henoch told the Washington Free Beacon. He asserts that prosecutors decided against pursuing Luft's information "and are instead targeting him with trumped-up and false charges."

"This unfortunately appears to be part of an attempt to discredit a witness with critical information about an ongoing congressional and DOJ investigation."

Henoch did not further elaborate on the information Luft has on Biden. But the lawyer recently told the Justice Department he plans to submit a letter to Congress that will detail statements that Luft gave to the Justice Department during an interview in Belgium, according to documents obtained by the Free Beacon.

Luft served as a liaison between CEFC China Energy and the Institute for Analysis of Global Security, a Washington think tank formed by former CIA director James Woolsey. Luft, who is co-director of the Institute, served as senior adviser to the China Energy Fund Committee, the think tank arm of CEFC China Energy. Ye Jianming, the former chairman of CEFC China, served as chairman of the board of trustees of the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security, according to a business prospectus created by one of Hunter Biden’s business associates. CEFC also donated at least $350,000 to the Institute, which has promoted China’s controversial Belt and Road infrastructure program.

Luft also forged close ties to Patrick Ho, a CEFC executive who was convicted in 2019 of trying to bribe African officials for oil rights on behalf of CEFC. Luft referred to Ho as a "close friend and colleague" in a letter in support of Ho, according to court documents.

Hunter Biden worked closely with Ye and represented Ho in his legal case.

Biden met with Ye at the Chinese businessman’s homes in New York and Miami. Ye, who is suspected of having ties to Chinese military intelligence, gave Hunter an $80,000 diamond in one of their meetings. Starting in 2017, CEFC began paying Hunter and his uncle Jim Biden to find energy investments for CEFC across the globe. Emails from Biden’s laptop show he and Ye discussed plans for CEFC to buy a liquified natural gas field in Louisiana. Biden told Ye in a November 2017 letter that the projects had "the benefit of being good for both the United States and China simultaneously."

Hunter worked for CEFC on another project that has intrigued investigators. The company paid him $1 million to provide legal services for Ho after he was indicted in the bribery case in October 2017. Hunter was not listed as an attorney of record for Ho, who he referred to privately as the "fucking spy chief of China."

Republicans claim that Biden’s deal with CEFC presented national security risks because of CEFC’s links to Chinese intelligence. They have questioned whether CEFC sought out Biden as part of an intelligence-gathering operation. Investigators are also looking into Joe Biden’s involvement in the CEFC deal. While the president has denied knowing anything about his son’s business deals, a former Hunter Biden associate, Tony Bobulinski, says he met with Hunter, Joe, and Jim Biden to discuss CEFC in California in 2017.

Republicans recently zeroed in on a former Serbian foreign minister, Vuk Jeremic, who made the first introduction between CEFC and Hunter Biden. Emails from Biden’s laptop show that Jeremic approached Biden in December 2015 to meet with CEFC to discuss potential business deals. Jeremic at the time was a consultant for CEFC. Biden later arranged a meeting for Jeremic and then-Vice President Biden’s national security adviser, Colin Kahl, to help Jeremic’s campaign for United Nations secretary general.

Jeremic has connections as well to Ho. He arranged the meetings with the two African officials who Ho attempted to bribe.

The White House and Justice Department did not respond to requests for comment.

Representative James Comer (R-KY) said Sunday on FNC’s “Sunday Morning Futures” that there was “evidence everywhere” that points to the family of President Joe Biden being “involved in influence-peddling schemes for decades.”

Host Maria Bartiromo said, “150 suspicious activity reports as money was transferred to several different accounts that were run by Hunter Biden, as we know from the evidence on the laptop. If they stonewall you, will you hold them in contempt?”

Comer said, “We’ll do everything we can to get the answers, and you mentioned those bank records. The amazing thing that we’ve been able to determine thus far is how many different transactions into different accounts and how many different LLCs that Hunter Biden had that he was doing, quote, consulting work for other people who were getting million dollar payments directly from the CCP into their account.”

He added, “I mean, this isn’t the most complex investigation on the planet. You know, investigating Hunter and the Biden family’s about like tracking a bleeding bear through a snowstorm. There is evidence everywhere that would point out that this family has been involved in influence-peddling schemes for decades. And this is very concerning.”

Hypocrisy 101: Joe Biden scuppered Jimmy Carter's CIA nominee over mishandling of classified documents

Joe Biden assured us that he takes the handling of U.S. secrets "very seriously,' and sure enough another trove of illegally stored classified documents rolled out from one of the Biden residences.

That's flamin' hot hypocrisy in itself, but it gets worse when we learn of Joe's pious history around such documents.

Fox News discovered that Biden during his senator days, was quick to scupper Jimmy Carter's 1977 nomination of Ted Sorenson as director of the CIA, on the grounds that Sorenson mishandled classified documents he had access to for the purpose of writing a biography of his former mentor, President John F. Kennedy.

Biden, of course, didn't really care about the classified documents, even then.

 According to the Washington Post's Robert G. Kaiser, reporting the news at the time (emphasis mine):

The forced withdrawal of Theodore C. Sorensen's nomination to be Director of Central Intelligence - the first defeat of Jimmy Carter's still-unborn presidency - was a painfully public display of Carter's limited influence on Capitol Hill.

...

Carter's unusually ardent courtship of Congress during the transition period suggests a realization that his position needs strengthening. His decision not to fight harder for Sorensen may be a sign of strategic political tractability.

And Sorensen obviously did pose a special set of problems. He had few enthusiastic supporters and many critics from all sides of the political arena.

Moreover, Sorensen's candid affidavits on behalf of Daniel Ellsberg and The New York Times in the Pentagon Papers case inflamed the powerful intelligence lobby on Capitol Hill - the same forces what routed Sen. Frank Church (D-Idaho) and other would-be reformers who sought to strengthen congressional control over the intelligence community last spring.

So Biden was spouting his pieties about classified documents because he was all-in with the deep state even then.

Sorenson was a critic of the deep state and its operations back in the late 1960s and early 1970s, when the Pentagon papers case was going on. Joe somehow took it on himself to join with the deep-state crowd even if it undercut Carter, the sitting Democrat president. Carter eventually ended up with an incompetent, Adm. Stansfield Turner, to lead that agency to many intelligence disasters in the 1970s.

But Biden was loud and noisy about not confirming Sorenson, which was weird stuff, given that Sorenson was largely an inoffensive creature and his mishandling of the classified documents was known within the context of its purpose, which was book-writing. (We don't know what the known purpose of Joe's mishandling of classified documents was.) 

Fox continued:

During Sorenson’s confirmation hearing, Biden said the "real issue" was "whether Mr. Sorensen intentionally took advantage of ambiguities in the law, or carelessly ignored the law."

"If he did so, can he now bring the activities of the intelligence community within the strict limits of the law?" Biden asked. "We will expect that in the future of intelligence agencies. If that is to be the case, then we must hold the Director — DCI — accountable as well."

Hypocrite much, Joe?

How he can explain himself now as his own mishandling of classified documents comes to light is beyond comprehension. It's bad for Ted Sorenson to have classified documents in his possession to write a book, but it's O.K. for Joe to have them, even though nobody knows his purpose?

It does tells us that he's always been a company man for the deep state, and that the deep state has looked the other way when he mishandled documents -- and that this has been going on for decades.

How many more revelations will we get? Obviously, Joe has been up to no good for years and eventually, the truth is going to come out.

Why was Biden allowed to visit the crime scene before the search for evidence was complete in the classified documents scandal?

Make no mistake: mishandling classified documents is a crime, even when unintentional under the standard of “gross negligence.” That makes Biden’s lakeside Wilmington, DE mansion (that once belonged to a DuPont family branch) a crime scene. And the latest news that an unspecified number of classified documents (not necessarily only 6 despite widespread reports) were discovered Friday mans that it was an active crime scene last weekend when Joe and “Dr. Jill” were allowed unsupervised access to their home there.

I am not a law enforcement expert, but elementary logic suggests that allowing a potential suspect access to a crime scene before an investigation is complete risks all kind of mischief, including destruction of evidence.

At best, this constitutes gross negligence on the part of the Depart of Justice investigators. Additionally, the Justice Department under Holder, and now Loretta Lynch, has one of the worst records before the U.S. Supreme Court, losing significantly more cases than either of the Bush or Clinton Departments of Justice. “In most administrations, the department wins about 70 percent of the cases before the Supreme Court; Mr. Holder’s department has a losing record and has lost at least nine cases 9-0–even with Obama appointees Elena Kagen and Sonia Sotomayor on the court,” wrote Jared Taylor of American Renaissance, in a review of “Obama’s Enforcer: Eric Holder’s Justice Department.”

Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that President Joe Biden bore “ultimate responsibility” for the classified material found at his home and office.

Anchor Dana Bash said, “I want to turn to the new classified documents that the FBI found at the president’s house in Delaware. It was a 13-hour search that happened on Friday. It’s just the latest revelation of the president having classified items that he shouldn’t have. You’ve been in Congress for 40 years. You’ve handled classified material for a lot of those years, probably most of them. How concerned are you about this?”

Durbin said, “Well, I’m concerned. There’s a standard we follow when it comes to members of Congress and classified information.”

He continued, “To think that any of them ended up in boxes in storage one place or the other is just unacceptable. Having said that, let me make this point clear. Joe Biden has said from the start we are going to be totally transparent about this. Let the chips fall where they may. I’m going to open my home voluntarily to a search, not the first search, I’m sure, of his offices and home. He has shown total cooperation in this effort. That’s a sharp contrast to President Trump.”

Durbin added, “It is outrageous that either occurred, but the reaction by the former president and the current president could not be in sharper contrast.”

Bash said, “They are. They are very different, no question about that. Having said that, you are a politician. You’ve been around for a while, and you understand how these things play out. Do you fear that, because of that, the current president has kind of lost the high ground on this notion of classified information being where it shouldn’t be?”

Durbin said, “Well, of course. Let’s be honest about it — when that information is found. It diminishes the stature of any person in possession of them. It’s not supposed to happen. Whether it was the fault of a staffer or an attorney, it makes no difference. The elected official bears ultimate responsibility.”

More than three years ago, MedLaw Publishing released my book, “Capitol Hills Criminal Underground” in which I, the book's author, describe a long-running “protection racket” being run by then-Vice President Joe Biden, as well  as Attorney General Eric Holder and New York Senator, Chuck Schumer.  

The three amigos effectively arranged to have all Wall Street criminal cases directed to the lefty-friendly Southern District of New York, and for the right “payments” the cases would be closed. Money would then go into PACs controlled by Schumer and distributed to all those involved.  In return for those payments, there would be no investigations, no prosecutions and no regulatory action.  As author, I tracked over $110,000,000 in payments to politicians. 

The CIA tracked some of the money-laundering related to the theft by these Wall Street companies and was able to track back the payments to senior DOJ officials and senior politicians like Vice President Joe Biden.  

I, and a senior CIA officer, offered this evidence to both FBI Director James Comey and DoJ Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz.  They both declined to respond.  I filed criminal complaints with the FBI and was told by field agents that senior leadership at the DOJ would not allow anyone to work the criminal complaints.

Report: White House, DOJ Agreed to Hide Classified Document Scandal

The White House and Justice Department (DOJ) reportedly agreed to hide President Joe Biden’s classified document scandal from the American people until it leaked to the press, despite their repeated claims of transparency.

Not only did the White House and DOJ try to obscure the scandal from public view, but they also refused to divulge that the second trove of classified documents were already unearthed at Biden’s home in Wilmington when CBS News first contacted the White House about the initial leak of classified documents apparently illegally stored at the Biden Penn Center, according to the Washington Post: “Early on, Biden’s attorneys and Justice Department investigators both thought they had a shared understanding about keeping the matter quiet,” the Post admitted, noting the Biden administration’s attempt to conceal revelations of the second trove of stashed documents.

“CBS News was the first news organization to learn of the matter, contacting the White House on Jan. 6 to ask about the Penn Biden Center documents,” the report continued. “White House officials confirmed the scoop, but since the investigation was ongoing, they decided not to offer any additional details — including the critical information that a second batch of documents had been discovered at Biden’s home.”

That the Biden administration tried to conceal the scandal contradicts their claims of transparency.

“There was transparency in doing what you’re supposed to do when these items were discovered,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre falsely claimed on January 12.

Since the Justice Department appointed a special prosecutor, the White House has provided little transparency. “I’m just going to continue to be prudent here. I’m going to let this ongoing review that is happening — this legal process that is happening — let that process continue under the special counsel. We’re not — I’m not — going to comment from here,” Jean-Pierre said Tuesday.

“Look, guys, you guys can ask me this 100 times, 200 times, if you wish. I’m going to keep saying the same thing,” she added. “I hear your question. It’s been asked. It’s been answered. It’s been noted.”

Critics have questioned why Biden’s personal attorneys were initially searching for Biden’s illegally stashed documents. The White House has failed to provide the initial reason or cause for the search.

Two Special Counsel Theories -- One DoJ Conclusion

Attorney General Merrick Garland has now appointed two special counsels to investigate two presidents (one former, one current) for mishandling classified documents while out of office. Donald Trump is accused of keeping classified documents after leaving office. We now know that Joe Biden did keep classified documents after stepping down as Vice President -- and before being inaugurated President. The pundit class is convinced that the appointments have nothing to do with justice or equal application of the law. We know the first appointment is to prosecute Donald Trump for something -- anything. As for Joe Biden, there are two predominant theories for the second special counsel appointment -- and frankly, both could be correct.

I personally subscribe to theory 1. Merrick Garland appointed a special counsel to investigate Joe Biden’s document indiscretion, as a means to obstruct the imminent congressional investigation. Any attempt by the Republican-led House to subpoena information, or interview Justice Department officials will be met with: “I cannot comment about an ongoing investigation.” The Dems will claim that any attempt by the Republicans to investigate is jeopardizing the DoJ investigation. That will continue until around November 6, 2024 -- or maybe until Maricopa gets its ballots counted sometime in December. It worked for the “Russian collusion” hoax. There’s no reason to think it won’t work again.

Theory 2 is that Merrick Garland is part of a Democrat conspiracy to toss Dementia Joe under the bus, so they can run over him before the next election. They figure Joe will screw up the next campaign, since 2024 is unlikely to be a basement campaign -- which is where Joe does his best work. While this theory may be correct, the Dems are being cautious. Cackling Kamala Harris, while anxious to pilot the bus, is fully capable of screwing up the next election just as badly as Joe might.

Notice that nobody -- except the harpies on “The View” and that congressman who thinks Guam is going to capsize -- believe this is a legit investigation. The “walls are closing in” crowd thinks it’s an investigation to find out how Donald Trump hid classified documents in the most secure place on earth -- next to Joe’s Corvette. Seriously -- that’s what they’re saying. I think we can safely conclude at this point that only the mentally certifiable and intellectually stunted think this is a righteous investigation.

Everyone else (Republican and Democrat) seems to know what is going on -- even if they won’t publicly admit it. The Department of Justice is meddling in the next election. The DoJ is either helping Biden with his legal trouble, or it’s helping the Dems with their candidate trouble -- or both.

Which brings me to my chilling conclusion. Corruption at the DoJ is no longer a matter of debate. Everybody knows the DoJ is crooked. They’re just not sure what variety of crookedness is at play this time.

After the Hillary Clinton email investigation, the Russian collusion hoax, and the Pete and Lisa adulterous insurance policy, the department’s credibility was threadbare.

Then Joe Biden appointed Merrick Garland to head the department, and now we’re not even pretending that justice has anything to do with the Department of Justice. Under Garland’s leadership, our highly paid public servants have:

• Persecuted Prosecuted a bunch of January 6 protesters for taking selfies on public property
• Raided the home of a former president and rifled through his wife’s undie drawer
• Censored the speech of political opponents
• Confiscated the electronic devices of political opponents -- with news cameras in tow
• Challenged red-state voting laws
• Challenged red-state redistricting
• Arrested prolife protesters with armed raids
• Pushed transgender grooming of children on the states
• Targeted concerned parents as domestic terrorists
• Gone on a snipe hunt for rare and elusive white supremacists

Now everyone, on both sides of the political aisle, presumes that Heir Garland is running another political game with his most recent special counsel appointment. We just don’t know for sure what game it is.

That everyone believes it, and Merrick Garland doesn’t care, confirms that we’ve lost a few things that are critical to a healthy functioning constitutional republic. We no longer have:

• Equal justice under the law
• The guarantee of due process
• Freedom from unreasonable search and seizure
• Institutional defense of our Constitution

Both political sides know the DoJ is corrupt. However, while one side timidly admits it, the other vehemently denies it. The Dems are lying because they like the DoJ playing on their team, but they’re losing the narrative battle (53 percent of the public thinks the FBI is Joe Biden’s Gestapo). The Republicans are sick of their base being demonized, but lack the political power to do anything about it. Donald Trump challenged the DoJ and FBI. Look how that turned out for him.

Each party has self-serving reasons to either defend or attack the DoJ. Fixing any of this mess will have to wait until one side wins the debate. Depending on how that debate ends, Americans will get either accountability or single-party hegemony.

The real tragedy is that all Americans have been betrayed by the Department of Justice. Its officials have violated the oath that they swore to us -- the citizens who entrusted them with power. They have no honor, and they don’t seem to care.

On a background-check application dated July 2018, Hunter Biden claimed that he paid $49,910 per month in rent and that his “current residence” at that time was 1209 Barley Mill Road in Wilmington, Delaware, according to a document found on Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop.

Hunter also listed that Wilmington address as his primary residence on at least one form of identification (his Delaware driver’s license) and used the same address as his billing address for both his personal credit card and Apple account in 2018 and 2019, a review of files from Hunter’s abandoned laptop reveals.

According to the background check document, Hunter claimed that he paid rent from March 2017 until February 2018 (11 months) at the Wilmington address leading some to wonder if he was paying rent to his father, who has owned the home since 1996. But Hunter apparently filled out the form in error.

Contrary to some reporting, Hunter Biden was not paying his father $49,910 per month; rather, that figure represents the amount Hunter was paying to rent prime office space at the prestigious House of Sweden in Washington, D.C., materials in Hunter’s laptop show.

Nevertheless, the period that Hunter claimed he was living at 1209 Barley Mill Rd (the Wilmington house where classified documents were found) overlaps with the time multiple Biden family members were taking money from foreign businessmen linked to the highest levels of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) intelligence apparatus.

Hunter claimed on various documents and financial statements that he lived at the Wilmington House between early 2017 and 2019—immediately following his father’s second term as vice president and as Joe Biden was gearing up for his presidential run.

Given the discovery of the classified documents at multiple unsecure locations, the timeline of the Bidens’ Chinese business deals paints a troubling picture.

Beginning in late 2015, while his father was still vice president, Hunter Biden began making plans to meet with officials from the Chinese energy company CEFC. CEFC and at least four of its principals and associates, Ye Jianming, Patrick Ho, Gongwen Dong and Jiaqi Bao, have been linked to the Chinese government and its military intelligence apparatus. Hunter once described Patrick Ho as “the fucking spy chief of China.”

Many observers viewed CEFC as a state-directed entity. CNN, for example reported in 2018:

From the yellow stars in its logo to the fact it had China in its name – a privilege normally reserved for state-owned companies – CEFC China Energy’s messaging strongly suggested state ties.

By early 2017, Hunter was directly corresponding with CEFC personnel and flew to Miami in February of that year to meet with CEFC Chairman Ye Jianming. During this trip, Ye Jianming gave Hunter a 3.16 carat diamond valued at approximately $80,000.

When Hunter’s ex-wife discovered that he had obtained something of such immense value, she had her divorce attorney send an “Urgent” email seeking to determine the whereabouts of the diamond and secure the asset before Hunter could “dissipate” it. Hunter’s attorney offered a shady denial:

There is no diamond in Hunter’s possession. I don’t know where Kathleen is getting access to this information, but on this score, what your email purports below is inaccurate.

Metadata gleaned from photos of the diamond on the abandoned laptop indicate that Hunter lied about not having the diamond and he in fact had the diamond with him in Wilmington. The current location of the 3.16 carat diamond remains unknown.

After the fateful February 2017 meeting with Ye, and around the time Hunter claimed to have moved into the Wilmington house where classified documents were found, the Bidens’ business with CEFC exploded.

Nine days after Miami meeting, Hunter received two separate wire transfers of $3 million which the Department of Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network flagged as suspicious.

Between April 2017 and September 2018, CEFC and its affiliates funneled millions of dollars to the Bidens (mostly to Hunter, but some of that money flowed to Joe Biden’s brother and sister-in-law, James and Sara Biden). Joe Biden met with Hunter’s business partners during this time. All the while, top secret and sensitive compartmented information documents were just lying around in unsecured locations (such as the closet of the Penn Biden Center and the Wilmington garage), easily accessible by the Bidens and their associates.

James Biden, Joe’s brother, was central to the Biden business dealings with CEFC. One of Hunter’s former business associates, Tony Bobulinski, messaged another associate, James Gilliar, on April 30, 2017, wondering “what is the deal [with] Jim Biden as he wasn’t part of the discussion and now seems a focal point.” Likely alluding to Hunter’s addictions, Gilliar replied:

[With Hunter’s] demons, [it] could be good to have [Jimmy as] a backup…he strengthens our U[nique] S[elling] P[roposition] to [the] Chinese as it looks like a truly family business. [Emphasis added]

Bobulinski met with Hunter, James, and Joe Biden for at least an hour on the evening of May 2, 2017, and he alleges that they discussed the Biden family business dealings in China with which the former vice president was “plainly familiar.”

On May 13, 2017, Gilliar emailed Bobulinski an equity breakdown of a new business venture involving CEFC wherein Gilliar proposed Hunter will hold a 20 percent equity stake and 10 percent will be held by Hunter for “the big guy.” Tony Bobulinski alleges that Joe Biden is the big guy.

According to messages Bobulinski provided to congressional investigators, Hunter claimed he talked to Ye on a “regular basis” because “we have a standing once a week call as I am also his personal counsel (we signed an attorney client engagement letter) in the U.S.” Hunter also claimed he was advising Ye “on a number of his personal issues (staff visas and some more sensitive things).”

The chairman of CEFC, Ye Jianming, has been linked to the highest levels of Chinese intelligence and CNN reported that Ye was a suspected “princeling” of People’s Liberation Army top brass.

In their summer 2017 correspondences, Hunter sent “best wishes from the entire Biden family” and Ye concluded his reply “please accept my best regards to you and your family.”

Between February 9, 2017, and December 20,2018, tens of millions—perhaps more than $150 million—flowed between a dizzying web of CEFC-linked companies and shell corporations. And some of that money went directly into Biden family coffers.

On August 8, 2017, CEFC wired $5 million to an entity called Hudson West III. That same day, Hudson West began wiring payments that would ultimately total $4,790,375.25 to Hunter Biden’s Owasco LLC. The last payment was on September 25, 2018, according to congressional investigators. Between August 14, 2017, and August 3, 2018, Owasco sent 20 wires totaling $1,398,999 to James and his wife Sara Biden’s consulting firm.

Throughout the summer of 2017, as the CEFC arrangements were being hashed out, Hunter talked with Ye Jianming about the impending legal troubles of another CEFC principal, Patrick Ho (the “spy chief”).

In September 2017, Hunter agreed to represent Ho and executed an agreement to provide “Counsel to matters related to US law and advice pertaining to the hiring and legal analysis of any US Law Firm or Lawyer.” Hunter was ultimately paid $1 million through his Owasco LLC (the wire transfer memo line read “Dr Patrick Ho Chi Ping Representation”) to represent Ho.

Patrick Ho was arrested on November 18, 2017 and he was convicted in December 2018 on international bribery and money laundering charges, according to the New York Times. Upon incarceration, Ho’s first phone call from jail was to James Biden. He was looking for Hunter and James Biden gave him Hunter’s contact information.

Notably, Hunter Biden had never been a serious attorney, so his receiving one million dollars to represent Ho is notable given that Hunter was apparently living in a house with classified documents at the time.

The same month that Hunter executed the representation agreement for the Patrick Ho matter, September 2017, CEFC-linked companies provided three separate credit cards for Hunter, James, and Sara Biden. These credit cards allowed the Bidens to go on extravagant shopping sprees and the racked up more than $100,000 in purchases.

Also in September 2017, Hunter Biden leased the plush office space at the House of Sweden for an entity called the Biden Foundation and for a CEFC branch. A September 2017 email shows Hunter requesting keys to the building for Joe Biden, Jill Biden, Jim Biden, and “Chairman Ye CEFC emissary.” It was here that he paid $49,910 per month. in rent.

And it was at this time that Hunter claimed 1209 Barley Mill Road as his residence. That home, owned by Joe and Jill Biden, is where Joe Biden kept the sensitive documents next to his Corvette in the garage (“so it’s not like [these classified documents] were just sitting in the street,” Biden said in his own defense last week).

By spring 2018, the business with CEFC was beginning to fall apart. Patrick Ho was tainted by his international bribery charges and Ye Jianming was under investigation in China for “suspected economic crimes,” and had essentially vanished after detention by CCP officials.

In a now famous January 2019 text message, Hunter complained to his daughter Naomi that Joe Biden (whom the family called “Pop”) had demanded half his (Hunter’s) salary for decades:

I hope you all can do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family [for] 30 years. It’s really hard. But don’t worry unlike Pop I won’t make you give me half your salary.

Joe Biden benefitted from Hunter’s business dealings which helped to finance father’s monthly bills, paid for repairs to the Barley Mill road estate in Wilmington, and bankrolled the office space for Joe and Jill Biden’s foundation at the pricey House of Sweden complex.

My colleague Peter Schweizer’s runaway bestseller, Red Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win, first revealed that the Biden family received some $31 million from the highest levels of Chinese intelligence at the same time Hunter was paying the vice president’s bills. Schweizer believes that there is a slam dunk case to indict Hunter Biden.

The latest developments involving apparent mishandling of classified information underscore the gravity of the ongoing Biden corruption scandals.

Eight things that killed the Democrat Party

The old Democrat Party is gone. In its place is a radical Libertine Party, full of itself and full of radical sexual, cultural, and economic ideas that have all but killed their chances of ever getting legitimately elected again. The following five things are what I believe has murdered the Democrat Party in its sleep:

1. CRT: Critical Race Theory in all its permutations, regardless of its origins and history, has become the banner of anti-white racism, disguising itself as "anti-racism." Under its banner, white people are told they are worthless, toxic, hateful oppressors. Worse, companies are actually hiring people who promote this toxicity and schools are teaching students to hate white people. Now out in the open, anti-white racism has created a hate-filled atmosphere of constant tension and dissension, where the only thing that matters, first and foremost, is skin color. This can only be laid at the feet of Democrats.

2. TRANS WOMEN IN WOMEN'S SPORTS: The gross unfairness of allowing men into women's sports (no, I will not call them "women") is so blatant and outrageous, that proponents are seen not merely as insane, but malevolent. The destruction of women's sports is viewed by all rational people as evil in the name of wokeness.

3. CORRUPTION IN THE FBI: The malicious and ethics-free raid on Mar-a-Lago is viewed even by many Democrats and all Republicans as vicious political intimidation, with the goal of destroying any followers of Donald Trump. This began in earnest during the "Russia collusion" case and saw its culmination in midnight raids of innocent conservatives revealing a hateful, vengeful vigilantism on the part of the radical left. In the hope that supporters of Trump and other conservative candidates would drop out of politics in fear of similar reprisals, these Gestapo tactics have not only solidified Trump's support and the support of even moderately conservative candidates, but have shown the Left to be petty children in a deranged, red-haze temper tantrum.

4. COVID MASK AND VACCINE MANDATES: Certainly a show of power rather than anything prophylactic against COVID, blue states and leftist groups have revealed that they know the masks do not prevent COVID, but instead are a symbol of big-government Stasi tactics designed to subjugate the citizenry in order to prepare them for eventual control.

5. DRAG QUEENS IN THE SCHOOLS: Young children have been indoctrinated into sexual fetishism and perverse sexual behavior at the behest of school administrators and leftist parents who seem to see nothing morally wrong with gay men dressing up as women in highly sexually-suggestive costumery and behavior. Why they are doing this has become clear: They want to break down all parental control over children and indoctrinate them into pedophilia, perversity, and compliance. For most parents, this was a bustier too far.

6. THE ECONOMY: From the start in 2021 when Joe Biden killed the Keystone pipeline and halted all drilling and new permits, the economy began tanking. Gas prices, supply line problems, paying people not to work, profligate spending, and other avoidable problems has hit the average American smack dab in the wallet. No matter how much the Biden administration denies their role in inflation and no matter how many times Joe says the economy is "strong as hell," Americans watch their buying power dwindle. They want relief and it is clear they will not get it from the Democrat Party.

7. ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION: From day one, the borders were flung open by the Democrat Party to drug traffickers, murderers, and myriad other miscreants in the hope they would be new Democrat votes. As a result, crime is rampant, blue cities under Democrat rule are suffering and homelessness is on the rise, all the while Biden spokespeople are claiming the "border is closed." Squealing like stuck pigs, places like New York City which have reluctantly become home to Texas' illegals, have seen a marked inability to safely house the very illegals they claim to have wanted to live in their "sanctuary city."

8. CRIME: Because of the Democrat rule in blue cities, crime is not being prosecuted in the name of some weird kind of reparations. What the Democrats don't get is that they hurt their own innocent population by allowing criminals a get-out-jail-free card, and by not prosecuting at all. Their racist policies hurt the very people they claim to want to help. Why are they doing this? To deliberately create chaos in the execution of anti-white racism. The one solution to the rising crime rate, the prosecution and incarceration of criminals, is the one thing blue cities under Democrat rule will not do. Mayor Lightfoot makes weird and demonic home videos of herself dancing around in what appears to be a drugged stupor. Rather than be a responsible mayor, she has totally ignored the death-by-violence rate in Chicago. This is another very clear example of Democrats doing what they do best; destroying things.
