N.A.F.T.A. JOE BIDEN'S BILLIONAIRE CRONY FOR OPEN BORDERS MODERN SLAVER JEFF BEZOS IS A LIAR LIKE JOE! - The editors of Jeff Bezos’ Washington Post are claiming the White House has gotten southern migration under control, with a wide front-page headline saying “At the border, a reset but no surge.”

The editors of Jeff Bezos’ Washington Post are claiming the White House has gotten southern migration under control, with a wide front-page headline saying “At the border, a reset but no surge.”

The May 13, editor-placed, five-column headline hides the reality of President Joe Biden’s surge of 83,000 migrants in one week — and it also distracts readers from Biden’s radical decision to ignore Congress while his deputies extract millions of consumers, renters, and workers from poor foreign countries for resettlement in Americans’ neighborhoods, schools, and workplaces.

The headline also distracts from the unpopularity of Biden’s radical policy: A May 5-7 poll of 1,022 by Ipsos showed that only four percent — one in 25 — of Americans strongly approve of Biden’s immigration policy. The policy is strongly opposed by one-in-four Americans, or 38 percent — even though the national media plays down the scale and the migration strategy that aids Fortune 500 investors, such as Bezos and his Amazon firm.

Only 16 percent of respondents “strongly” and “somewhat” approve of Biden’s policy, while 46 percent “strongly” or “somewhat “oppose. But business groups — including Amazon — are eager for the flood of wage-cutting, revenue-boosting migrants.

The Washington Post front page on Saturday, May 13, 2023.

The Washington Posarticle began:

MATAMOROS, Mexico — The new border regulations that took effect early Friday brought a sudden pause to the chaotic rush of migrants hurling themselves into the Rio Grande in recent days to reach the United States.

The article minimized the scale of Biden’s migration, which has admitted 83,000 migrants in the last week, and more than four million economic migrants since January 1. That is roughly one migrant for every two American births during the two years.

But the reporters provided a more accurate picture in the ninth paragraph of the scene at just one of many border crossings:

The pent-up frustration of many who risked everything to reach the U.S. border — spending their savings to pay “coyotes,” or smugglers, for journeys of thousands of miles, trekking through dangerous jungles — made it clear that the problem was far from over. Elsewhere in Matamoros, hundreds of migrants, mostly from Mexico and Haiti, lined up at the official border crossing into Brownsville on Friday afternoon to seek asylum.

Many of the migrants in Matamoros who hadn’t crossed before Title 42 lifted said they were unsure what they would do next. The flow of new arrivals didn’t let up.

Genesis Cardenas, 30, sat on a curb near the tightly guarded international bridge early Friday, holding her squirming 10-month-old daughter, Susej Paredes, whose name spells “Jesus” backward. The Venezuelan woman and her husband left Peru on April 18, hoping to reach the U.S. border before the Title 42 policy expired. But they got delayed and arrived by bus Friday morning from Mexico City.

The reporters also note that a federal judge barred Biden’s officials from releasing migrants via the parole side door at the border.

“It is going to take a little while for us to know how they’re applying this new asylum rule,” said Mark Krikorian, director of the Center for Immigration Studies.

Supposedly it’s super tough. And I think a lot of the [migrant] aliens are kind of figuring, “Jeez, if it’s so tough, let’s wait and see how you know how tough it really is.”

The fact is, the exceptions in [the rule] swallow the whole rule. But, you know, it’s not impossible, that they’ll actually be a little tougher than we think. I don’t think so — and I don’t think they can sustain that politically or even just psychologically.

I don’t think they can sustain that because you have to actually believe in what you’re doing to enforce the law every day, even when there are pathetic pictures of kids reaching through the fence to charge their parents’ cell phone …  they’re reaching through like, like, I mean, like kids in a cage, you know?  There’s no way this administration can resist that and can stay the course, even if they want to undertake the course.

The only legal barrier to being released into the United States is the “Credible Fear” test that migrants face at the border, he said.

The test interview is intended to reveal if migrants have a plausible claim of government oppression. If the examiner accepts their story, they are released into the United States to ask for asylum. The interviewer is required to exclude economic migrants who want jobs and to exclude migrants who claim to face criminal threats.

The release is 90 percent of the game for poor migrants because it gives them several years of U.S. residency to work in jobs, pay off smuggling debts, and bring their families and kids up to join them.

The release also lets them hire lawyers to delay, postpone, suspend, and defer their deportation in the expectation that business groups and Democrats will push an amnesty through Congress or the border agency.

“This administration is not going to be interpreting the credible fear standard in such a way as to turn away most [migrant] people,” said Krikorian. “They have been approving, like 80 percent of people – maybe they’ll go down to 75 percent [but] I’m not sure that really makes much difference,” he added.

The Credible Fear interview is conducted by left-wing officials, including former social workers and political activists, who want the migrants to get into the United States, he said.  “That’s why they go into that line of work.”

However, the U.S. Supreme Court may soon force officials to obey the law, which requires them to detain all migrants until their asylum claims are decided. If so, illegal migration will drop because migrants will not be able to pay off their smuggling debts.

Extraction Migration

The federal government has long operated an unpopular economic policy of Extraction Migration. This colonialism-like policy extracts vast amounts of human resources from needy countries, reduces beneficial trade, and uses the imported workers, renters, and consumers to grow Wall Street and the economy.

The migrant inflow has successfully forced down Americans’ wages and also boosted rents and housing prices. The inflow has also pushed many native-born Americans out of careers in a wide variety of business sectors and contributed to the rising death rate of poor Americans.

The lethal policy also sucks jobs and wealth from heartland states by subsidizing coastal investors with a flood of low-wage workers, high-occupancy renters, and government-aided consumers.

The population inflow also reduces the political clout of native-born Americans, because the population replacement allows elites to divorce themselves from the needs and interests of ordinary Americans.

Migration — and especially, labor migration — is unpopular among swing voters. A 54 percent majority of Americans say Biden is allowing a southern border invasion, according to an August 2022 poll commissioned by the left-of-center National Public Radio (NPR). The 54 percent “Invasion” majority included 76 percent of Republicans, 46 percent of independents, and even 40 percent of Democrats.

Migrants with Dubious Asylum Claims Enjoy Massive Court Backlogs as DHS Schedules Hearings 4 to 10 Years Out

Migrants released into the United States with dubious asylum claims will enjoy a massive backlog in the nation’s immigration court system as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) schedules hearings as far out as a decade from now.

This week, President Joe Biden ended the Title 42 public health authority that was used for more than three years at the U.S.-Mexico border to remove close to three million illegal aliens and send them back to their native countries.

As a result, Biden’s DHS has implemented an expansive Catch and Release network that includes releasing border crossers into the U.S. interior with Notices to Appear (NTAs) in federal immigration court.

In some cases, as independent journalist Tayler Hansen reported, migrants are being given NTAs to appear before an immigration judge in 2026 and 2027:

In addition to issuing border crossers NTAs, the Biden administration had also issued Notices to Report (NTRs) for months — paperwork that effectively asks migrants to report, eventually, to a local Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office and then to receive a court date.

DHS documents, reviewed by Breitbart News, show that as of February, migrants with NTRs have been given scheduled immigration hearings as far out as a decade from today. In New York, for instance, many border crossers will not have to go before an immigration judge until October 2032.

In other cities, like Jacksonville, Florida, and Miramar, Florida, migrants will not go before an immigration judge until 2028, and in Atlanta, Georgia, and San Antonio, Texas, migrants will not have their asylum cases heard until 2027.

The backlog is important for border crossers who file bogus asylum claims, as they can remain in the U.S. for years – in some cases, a decade – before ever having to face an immigration judge.

A fraction of border crossers released into the U.S. end up securing asylum. Take Biden’s “Dedicated Dockets” program, meant to fast-track the asylum process for migrants. Data published last year found that just one percent of border crossers in the program had valid claims for asylum to remain in the U.S.

NY Hotels Boot Homeless Veterans to Shelter Released Migrants

Upstate New York hotels began kicking homeless veterans from their properties to make room for migrants being bused to the region from New York City. The homeless veterans, many Vietnam-era veterans, were receiving temporary shelter in the hotels through the efforts of a nonprofit agency.

The New York Post reports that nearly two dozen homeless veterans “have been booted from the upstate hotels to make room for migrants.” One of the hotels told a 24-year-old Afghanistan war veteran their temporary housing was being pulled out from under them and they would have to move somewhere else.

Sharon Toney-Finch, CEO of the Yerik Israel Toney Foundation, told the New York Post, “Our veterans have been placed in another hotel due to what’s going on with the immigrants.”

Toney-Finch said they moved the veterans from the Crossroads Hotel in Newburgh, New York, to other nearby motels and hotels. The properties were located about 20 minutes from where they were displaced.

Orange County, New York, is now the target of a migrant busing campaign by New York City Mayor Eric Adams. The mayor is moving the migrants out of his sanctuary city to Upstate New York to relieve migrant overcrowding in his city.

The veterans had been placed in the first hotel under a four-week temporary housing program while the nonprofit agency attempted to find another solution for their housing needs. The veterans were about two weeks into the program “when they got the boot,” Toony-Finch stated.

“A lot of them are Vietnam veterans. We do help them on a constant basis to get them benefits and help them find a place in society,” she explained, adding, “Now we have to work from ground zero. We just lost that trust [with the vets].”

Republican New York State Assemblyman Brian Maher told the Post, “Shining a light on this is important because we need to make sure these hotels know how important it is to respect the service of our veterans before they kick [them] out of hotels to make room.”

New York Democrat Congressman Pat Ryan, whose 18th congressional district covers the northern suburbs and exurbs of New York City, took to social media to condemn the “incompetence” of city officials in displacing the homeless veterans.

New York Republican Congressman Marc Molinaro also took to social media to denounce the “absolutely inexcusable” treatment of the homeless veterans, which he described as “the result of incompetence and lack of compassion.”

Tooney-Finch said the hotel made the move to expel the veterans based on money. “They get paid more [for the migrants],” she stated. “That’s so unfair, because at the end of the day, we are a small nonprofit, and we do pay $88 a day for a veteran to be there.”

It is not clear what the city is paying for the housing of the bused migrants from New York City.

‘Border Czar’ Kamala Harris Kicks Off Lifting of Title 42 with Democrat ‘Soiree’

Vice President Kamala Harris kicks off her administration’s lifting of Title 42 by headlining the Democrat Party of Georgia’s “Spring Soiree” fundraiser on Friday.

Harris, named border czar by President Joe Biden in 2021, is scheduled to attend the “Spring Soiree” on Friday in Atlanta and the private fundraiser hosted by the Democrat National Committee (DNC). The events mark the beginning of their Biden-Harris campaign push to raise as much money as possible for the 2024 election cycle.

She will be attending the fundraisers instead of visiting the U.S.-Mexico border in her capacity as border czar, where 400,000 border crossers and illegal aliens are expected to come to the southern border every month, as the Biden administration puts an end to Title 42.

Title 42 was a federal public health authority that aimed to control the border, which expired at 11:59 p.m. Thursday. The House Republicans passed legislation, H.R.2, on Thursday to codify some of former President Trump’s strictest border policies. But, the legislation still has to get through the Senate, and the White House has promised President Joe Biden will veto it.

Breitbart News’s John Binder noted in an explainer article about what happens when the Trump-era rules end that there will likely be roughly 400,000 border crossers and illegal aliens coming to the southern border every month, which exceeds the populations of some cities.

The New York Post reported that the vice president’s office was reluctant to share any specific plans she has to address the border crisis in the coming days. But, a White House official defended Harris’s engagement in plans.

[Harris] has been engaged and regularly briefed on preparations for the end of public health emergency measures — including Title 42 — while continuing to make progress addressing the root causes of migration from Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador.

Since Biden announced Harris would be the “Border Czar” in March 2021, Republicans have increasingly criticized her for her lack of effort and being hesitant to visit the border.

Black Chicago Residents Sue City Officials over Accepting Illegal Immigrants

Migrants board a city bus to a shelter intake center after traveling on a bus from Del Rio, Texas, at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York, US, on Saturday, May 13, 2023. New York and other major cities are gearing up for an anticipated surge of migrants following …

A movement of ordinary Chicago citizens filed a lawsuit to stop the city government from placing 500 migrants in a southside neighborhood school.

The May 10 lawsuit says:

The [city government’s] proposed action appears to disregard the zoning laws that are in place to safeguard the South Shore community. The failure to comply with these laws poses a significant threat to the rights and interests of the residents.

Citizens backed up their lawsuit with a Thursday press conference that was contained by extensive police roadblocks that minimized attendance:

The school battle comes as the federal government’s huge inflow of immigrant voters is pushing black Americans to the sidelines of the economy and politics. The post-1986 inflow has already replaced black Americans in Los Angeles and New York — and is now helping to push them out of valuable real estate in the south side of Chicago.

“Having over 500 [migrant] people in our community will completely wipe out any interest we have,” local activist Jimmy Darnell Jones said at a press conference to spotlight the legislation, adding:

Are you aware that there are immigrant advocates at state houses all over this country who are advocating for non-citizen voting in local elections? What if that happened here? That would change the mindset of what we, as a black community need to thrive here in Chicago. That’s a concern of ours.

This is much bigger than the Mayor of Chicago or the Chicago Police Department. This is an effort to destroy our neighborhoods and silence our voices even further.

“I was placed on a waitlist [for city housing], but I was told that the immigrants were taking priority,” said one speaker:

That’s the story that a lot of people don’t know and it hurt me. I’m like, “Oh wait a minute, I understand we need to be humanitarian,” but these people [at the demonstration] are third and fourth-generation Chicagoans, born, bred, fed, and raised here. My grandmother… always said “Chris, charity starts at home first, and then it goes abroad.”

The protesters are part of a local non-partisan neighborhood movement that has emerged from underneath the pro-migration Democrat Party. The movement filled an auditorium on May 4 to protest the city government’s funding for migrants.

“We’re fighting for our equity — [and] we’re using their own words against them,” activist Brian Mullins told Breitbart News.

We want our equity out of Chicago resources. Chicago has a $60 billion budget. We want 30 percent of that budget to be put in services and employment of our specific community.

City officials are favoring the fast-growing immigrant community, said Mullins, who emphasized his identity as a non-immigrant “Foundational Black American”:

We see how employment in hiring positions — as well as the overall change in City Hall — is favoring the Latino population. Our governor, J.B. Pritzker, has even made the head of the Democratic Party a Hispanic woman when it has historically [run by black Americans] for the last two years. Now we have a Hispanic woman as the head of the Illinois Democratic Party.

We are 30 percent of the population, and [vote] 96 percent for Democrats … [but] we’re not getting an exchange for our vote. We’re now trying to get black people to understand the vote is in exchange for resources, not just some arbitrary thing. Thirty years too late, but that’s where we start now.

“We believe the Democratic Party will pay more attention to our demands” if more black Americans are ready to vote against Democrats, he said. “So if you shift 10 percent… it could literally shift elections.”

Turnout at the protest was forced down by city officials who imposed a large police blockade around the protest site, he added: “They did block off every street in about a mile area to limit our current press conference yesterday… [People] couldn’t park in that area, so they had to walk.”

Nationwide, state and local governments, as well as influential business groups, are welcoming migrants into districts where black Americans have significant political and economic clout. The resulting displacement of black Americans is reducing their ability to get well-paid jobs or afford rising rents.

On May 10, Breitbart News asked President Joe Biden’s border chief: “How do Americans gain from the immigration paths you are opening, sir? … Do Americans gain from all the immigrants you’re bringing into this country?”

Sir, we are a nation of immigrants,” evaded Alejandro Mayorkas.

C-SPAN

A day later, Mayorkas urged legal changes to allow U.S. employers to import more foreign workers instead of being forced to compete for American workers:

There are businesses around this country that are desperate for workers, there are … desperate workers in foreign countries that are looking for jobs in the United States, where they can earn money lawfully and send much-needed remittances back home.

The migration pressure also forces black Americans out of the high-value real estate in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles, and pressures them to return to the lower-wage southern states that their great-grandparents fled in the 1930s and 1940s.

The government-imposed demographic pressure is spiking black Americans’ opposition to migration.

A May 5-7 poll by Ipsos showed that only 4 percent of Americans strongly approve of President Joe Biden’s immigration policy, while 38 percent strongly oppose the policy.

A May 6-9 poll by The Economist and YouGov showed that 31 percent of black Americans say immigration has made the United States “worse off.” Just 20 percent say the policy has made the United States “better off.”

Forty-one percent of black Americans said U.S. border agents should be allowed “to deport migrants without court hearings.” Thirty-one percent disagreed. Among white Americans, 57 percent supported easier deportations, while just 27 percent opposed.

Among all Americans, the YouGov poll showed that a 35 percent plurality believe migration has made the nation “worse off.” Just 31 percent say migration has made the United States “better off.”

In March 2022, Rasmussen Reports aggregated many monthly polls to show that black voters strongly oppose the Democrats’ policy of chain migration, which is helping to cut Americans’ wages and raise their rents. The surveys included 3,130 black Americans and showed that 57 percent opposed chain migration.

“Every time immigrants come into our country, we get stamped into the quicksand harder,” Mullins said. “We stay at the bottom and we’re just saying, ‘Get off of us, let us breathe… stop putting other people’s needs in front of us.'”

This colonialism-like policy extracts vast amounts of human resources from needy countries, reduces beneficial trade, and uses the imported workers, renters, and consumers to grow Wall Street and the economy.

As NYC Tries To Bus Migrants Out, Texas Set to Bus More In

As New York City is trying to move illegal migrants into the suburbs, Democrats in El Paso, Texas, plan to bus more migrants to the city.

El Paso has set up transportation to send more migrants to New York City, Democratic mayor Oscar Leeser said Wednesday. Buses won’t leave until more migrants arrive. "We do have the transportation set up, but we have not activated transportation," El Paso deputy city manager Mario D’Agostino said. Tens of thousands of migrants are expected to enter the United States after Title 42 ends Thursday night. Officials warned last week that 700,000 migrants were waiting in Mexico for the lapse of the border policy, which allows border agents to turn migrants away.

Migrants will be processed and released into cities at bus stops, gas stations, and other places across the border. Local leaders, including in El Paso, have dealt with the surge of migrants in the past by shipping them to cities such as New York, Chicago, and Washington, D.C.

Busloads of migrants sent to New York City in recent months have pushed the city to its limits. Mayor Eric Adams (D.) on Friday announced a plan to bus hundreds of migrants to New York's suburbs, angering local leaders. The city planned to house about 300 men in hotels in Rockland and Orange Counties, but furious officials in both counties vowed to fight any effort to flood their communities with migrants.

Adams announced the busing plans after he criticized Texas governor Greg Abbott (R.) last week for "deciding to play politics with people's lives" by busing migrants to his city, which calls itself a "sanctuary city" for migrants.

"Yes, New York City will remain a sanctuary city under an Adams administration," Adams tweeted in October 2021. He said in January that his city has "no room" for migrants.

Leeser said he plans to send migrants to New York to give them access to the "American dream."

"It’s not because we want them to go there," Leeser said. "It’s not because someone has pushed them there. They want to live that American dream and be able to go through the legal process and work there."

Video Shows Biden Admin Dumping Migrants on Texas Border City Streets

BROWNSVILLE, Texas —  Federal authorities under the Biden administration released hundreds of migrants onto the streets of Brownsville, Texas, with notices to appear in court for future hearings. While government officials claim to be taking a hard line on asylum seekers, for the migrants being released, the journey is seen as a success.

Breitbart Texas watched as approximately every 30 minutes white unmarked buses would pull up and drop off dozens of migrants at the Brownsville bus station. From there, the migrants were released and moved along to purchase tickets to travel to their final destination.

As the buses pulled up, migrants already at the bus station would make their way toward the bus to see if their relatives were inside.

The release of the migrants comes just hours before the Biden administration will end Title 42 removals — a move that is expected to cause a spike in irregular migration as thousands of migrants continue to make their way north through Mexico.

In just the past three days, Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley Sector apprehended more than 9,000 migrants in the past three days, Breitbart Texas reported on Thursday. Nearly 3,000 were apprehended on Wednesday alone. These contributed to the nearly 31,000 migrants apprehended along the entire southwest border during the three-day period ending Wednesday.

Earlier this week, Texas Governor Greg Abbott deployed an additional 545 members of a Texas National Guard “Tactical Border Force” in response to the renewed migrant surge along the Texas border with Mexico.

“Biden sent 1,500 troops to the border to do paperwork,” Abbott tweeted. “I deployed elite trained soldiers to defend Texas.”

Watch: DHS Chief Mayorkas Refuses to Recognize Cost of Illegal Immigration to American Citizens

CBS News
0 seconds of 1 minute, 10 secondsVolume 90%

During a press conference Thursday, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas detailed his globalist worldview wherein the United States acts as an economy for which foreign workers can flood the labor market, regardless of the costs to America’s working and middle class.

While holding the press conference, Mayorkas refused to discuss the costs of illegal immigration to American citizens, even as research shows that the arrival of illegal aliens burdens Americans to the tune of more than $143 billion annually — not including the cost of reduced wages, higher housing prices, and strained public resources.

In Yuma, Arizona, in recent months, taxpayers are forced to foot the bill for more than $26 million in uncompensated care for illegal aliens.

Instead, Mayorkas described his globalist worldview where foreign workers from around the globe can come to the U.S. and take American jobs to the benefit of employers, regardless of the impact on working and middle class Americans.

The exchange went as follows:

REPORTER: When you talk about costs, what’s the rough cost to American taxpayers since there have been roughly four million people come into this country illegally since January of 2021 as people show up at community hospitals, as they enter the school system, as they get other government help? Do you have a taxpayer cost? [Emphasis added]

MAYORKAS: Let me turn that question around … I’m going to turn it around to match the question that an international partner asked of me and the question that the international partner asked of me is ‘What is the economic cost of your broken immigration system?’ [Emphasis added]

Since there are businesses around this country that are desperate for workers, there are … desperate workers in foreign countries that are looking for jobs in the United States, where they can earn money lawfully and send much-needed remittances back home. ‘What is the cost of a broken immigration system?’ That is the question I am asked and that is the question that I pose to Congress, because it is extraordinary. [Emphasis added]

Mayorkas’s remarks come as Democrats this week continued to boast about the virtues of opening the nation’s labor market to the world’s migrants so as to benefit big business.

“Those folk who are coming across are the ones who are helping to put food on our table,” Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) said this week.

“Without them, we are not able to eat … we would have no food on our plates, we would have nobody taking care of the building, the construction of our homes, we would have nobody cleaning up in the hospitals, honest work that deserves an honest day’s pay,” Hank continued. “That’s the kind of system that we need to have in this country.”

Meanwhile, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) has led the charge in the Senate against cutting wages by flooding the U.S. labor market, increasing housing costs by importing millions of foreign nationals, and using immigration as a cash cow for Wall Street and big business.

“Illegal immigration is theft, plain and simple,” Vance wrote in a Twitter post. “It steals wages from American workers, and drives up the cost of housing and food for our families. Many in the GOP establishment who howl about illegal immigration in public defend cheap labor in private.”

The remarks come as labor market data has shown that President Joe Biden’s administration is growing the U.S. workforce by funneling millions of border crossers, illegal aliens, foreign visa workers, and legal immigrants into American jobs, while leaving millions of working and middle class Americans on the sidelines.

In the fourth quarter of 2022, for example, close to two million fewer native-born Americans were working in jobs compared to the same time in 2019, while two million foreign-born workers were added to the workforce.

A flooded labor market from mass immigration has had a devastating impact on working and middle class Americans, while redistributing billions in wealth to the top one percent of earners and big business. While creating an economy that tilts in favor of employers, the mass immigration economic model has helped keep wages stagnant for decades.

On the other hand, tight labor markets have driven up U.S. wages.

Housing prices for Americans, in particular, skyrocket as immigration increases. Decades of research have found that the more demand there is for housing in safe and vibrant American towns and cities, the higher housing prices climb.

“Increases in immigration into a metropolitan statistical area are linked with rising rents and home prices in that metropolitan statistical area and neighboring metropolitan statistical areas,” a 2017 study published in the Journal of Housing Economics revealed.

Today, the median sale price for a home in the U.S. is more than $400,000 — well out of range for most first-time buyers, as well as many working and middle class Americans.

Mayorkas: Americans’ Priorities Are Subordinate to ‘Nation of Immigrants’

President Joe Biden’s border chief Alejandro Mayorkas was asked Wednesday if his huge and growing inflow of economic migrants is good for Americans’ wages and rents, and he replied that this is a “Nation of Immigrants.”

The Cuban-born, pro-migration border chief took a few procedural questions from picked journalists when he presented part of his new plans to import more migrants into Americans’ workplaces and neighborhoods. “Our president has led the largest expansion of legal pathways ever,” Mayorkas said to a mostly empty press room.

But Breitbart News asked about the fairness of Mayorkas’s maximum-migration policies for ordinary Americans at a time of sliding wages, rising rents, and expanding civic chaos:

BBN: How do Americans gain from the immigration paths you are opening, sir? No [journalists] ever asks, “Do Americans gain from all the immigrants who you bring in — [even though] wages get pushed down, rents get pushed up.”

Mayorkas: Sir, we are a nation of immigrants. And we are a nation of laws. Individuals who qualify for relief under our laws have a basis to remain in the United States. The contributions of immigrants to this country is quite clear.

The Biden migration has added at least six million people — including four million workers — to the nation’s population. That inflow is roughly three migrants for every four American births. Millions more are expected after Mayorkas lifts the Title 42 border barrier on May 11.

Mayorkas’ “Nation of Immigrants” claim refers to the Cold War lobbyist narrative that the United States is a homeland for migrants, not for Americans. The narrative was created by Democratic-linked advocacy groups and business interests, despite enduring Americans’ primary concerns for their fellow citizens.

The narrative has no basis in law and had little in 20th-century history.  Moreover, many polls show that pluralities and majorities of diverse Americans want to welcome fewer migrants.

The majority preference is increasingly visible in D.C. politics:

Mayorkas’ flood has been urged and welcomed by business groups because it cuts Americans’ blue-collar wages and white-collar salaries. Businesses also welcome the migration because it reduces marketplace pressure to invest in productivity-boosting technologyheartland states, and overseas markets. and it reduces economic and political pressure on the federal government to deal with the drug and “Deaths of Despair” crises.

Mayorkas is a pro-migration zealot.

“I am, to a great extent, aligned with the expectations” of the immigrant community, Mayorkas told an audience at the Aspen Institute on July 2022.

He has said his border management is “all about achieving equity, which is really the core founding principle of our country.” Mayorkas’ demands imply equity between U.S. citizens and foreign citizens, and he has opened many loopholes for millions of economic migrants to cross into the United States.

Amid the massive inflow of roughly 2 million global economic migrants in 2022, Mayorkas insists the border is “secure,” and rejects any criticism of his deadly, elite-backed wealth-shifting policies. “We cannot have the rights and the needs of individuals who are seeing humanitarian relief in the United States be exploited for political purposes,” he told ABC News on January 1.

In February 2023, Mayorkas said Congress’ laws are less important than his pro-migration priorities. “Our goal is to achieve operational control of the border … [with] policies that really advance the security of the border, and do not come at the cost of the values of our country,” he said.

Mayorkas claimed on April 27 that his policy offers carrots and sticks to migrants:

We are building lawful pathways for people to come to the United States without resorting to the smugglers. At the same time. We are imposing consequences on those who do not use those pathways and instead irregularly migrate to our southern border.

But that humanitarian pitch is tied to a promise of cheap labor for business investors. On December 13, for example, Mayorkas told ElPasoMatters.org:

Our immigration system as a whole is broken. It hasn’t been updated or reformed in more than 40 years. We look to our partner to the north that has a much more nimble immigration system that can be retooled to the needs at the moment. For example, Canada is in need of 1 million workers and they have agreed that in 2023, they will admit 1.4 million … immigrants to fill that labor need that Canadians themselves cannot. We are stuck in antiquated laws that do not meet our current needs. And they haven’t been working for many, many years.

Extraction Migration

Government officials try to grow the economy by raising exports, productivity, and the birth rate. But officials want rapid results, so they also try to expand the economy by extracting millions of migrants from poor countries to serve as extra workers, consumers, and renters.

This policy floods the labor market and so it shifts vast wealth from ordinary people to older investorscoastal billionaires, and Wall Street. It makes it difficult for Americans to advance in their careers, get married, raise families, buy homes, or gain wealth.

Extraction Migration slows innovation and shrinks Americans’ productivity. This happens because migration allows employers to boost stock prices by using stoop labor and disposable workers instead of the skilled American professionals and productivity-boosting technology that earlier allowed Americans and their communities to earn more money.

This migration policy also reduces exports because it minimizes shareholder pressure on C-suite executives to take a career risk by trying to grow exports to poor countries.

Outside government, migration also undermines employees’ workplace rights, and it widens the regional economic gaps between the Democrats’ cheap-labor coastal states and the Republicans’ heartland and southern states.

An economy fueled by Extraction Migration also drains Americans’ political clout over elites and it alienates young people. It radicalizes Americans’ democratic civic culture because it gives a moral excuse for wealthy elites and progressives to ignore despairing Americans at the bottom of society, such as drug addicts.

This diversify-and-rule investor strategy is enthusiastically pushed by progressives. They wish to transform the U.S. from a society governed by European-origin civic culture into an economic empire of jealous identity groups overseen by progressive hall monitors. “We’re trying to become the first multiracial, multi-ethnic superpower in the world,” Silicon Valley Rep. Rohit Khanna (D-CA) told the New York Times in March 2022. “It will be an extraordinary achievement … We will ultimately triumph,” he boasted.

But the progressive-backed, colonialism-like migration policy kills many migrants. It exploits the poverty of migrants and splits foreign families as it extracts human resources from poor home countries to serve wealthy U.S. investors.

Progressives hide this Extraction Migration economic policy behind a wide variety of noble-sounding explanations and theatrical border security programs. Progressives claim the U.S. is a “Nation of Immigrants,” that economic migrants are political victims, that migration helps migrants more than Americans, and that the state must renew itself by replacing populations.

Similarly, establishment Republicans, businesses, and GOP donors hide the pocketbook impact. They prefer to divert voters’ attention toward border chaos, welfare spending, terror-linked migrants, migrant crime, and drug smuggling.

Many polls show the public wants to welcome some immigrants. But the polls also show deep and broad public opposition to labor migration and to the inflow of temporary contract workers into the jobs needed by the families of blue-collar and white-collar Americans.

This “Third Rail” opposition is growinganti-establishmentmultiracialcross-sexnon-racistclass-basedbipartisan,   rationalpersistent, and recognizes the solidarity that American citizens owe to one another.

U.S./Mexico Border

EXCLUSIVE: 31K Migrants Apprehended at Border in 72 Hours, 7.3K Got-Aways

Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 31,000 migrants during the past 72 hours as the end of the CDC’s Title 42 approaches at midnight on May 11. In addition, another 7,300 migrants are known to have gotten away without being apprehended at the border.

During the past three days, Border Patrol agents in the nine southwest border sectors apprehended approximately 30,746 migrants who crossed the border between ports of entry, according to a law enforcement source speaking off the record. On Wednesday alone, agents apprehended more than 10,600 migrants. This is believed to be a new single-day apprehension record.

In addition to the nearly 31,000 migrant apprehensions, officials report that more than 7,330 migrants are classified as known got-aways. Known got-aways are a Border Patrol estimate of the number of migrants believed to have crossed the border without being apprehended. The number of got-aways increased from 2,307 on May 8 to 2,614 on May 10.

Combining the apprehended migrants and known got-aways brings the three-day total of known border crossers to more than 38,000 migrants — nearly 12,700 per day.

The Rio Grande Valley Sector remains the epicenter of the current migrant crisis. Of the nearly 31,000 migrants apprehended during the three-day period, more than 9,000 crossed into the extreme South Texas sector.

The Del Rio (5,279), Tucson (5066), and El Paso (4789) Sectors remain the next busiest sectors.

Breitbart Texas’ Randy Clark, a retired 32-year veteran Border Patrol supervisor, laid the blame for the growing pre-Title-42 end at the feet of the Biden administration and specifically, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. In an editorial on the eve of the end of Title 42, Clark wrote:

The truth of the matter lies with what migrants are experiencing after recent border crossings. In today’s world of technology, migrants are equal beneficiaries of the ability to quickly communicate with smartphones. Using communication apps such as WhatsApp and others, migrants immediately alert others to the scale of the Biden administration’s use of “Catch and Release.” From there, the rush to the border grows.

The Biden plan to deal with the migrants crossing post-Title 42 is to increase the use of the Title 8 expedited removal authority. Clark compared the use of Title 8 versus Title 42 in respect to border-agent processing time.

The increase in processing times under traditional Title 8 immigration authority, compared to Title 42, is significant and will cripple DHS’s ability to detain and process migrants without significant augmentation to detention capabilities. Under the CDC’s Title 42 expulsion authority, migrants are not allowed to present a claim for asylum. A Border Patrol agent can fully process a migrant under the authority in approximately 10 to 15 minutes.

In stark contrast, processing under Title 8 authority takes an average Border Patrol agent more than one hour without any complicating factors. Factors that slow the process include the need to utilize translation services for migrants who do not speak Spanish. That slows the process of obtaining biographical data and the requirement to explain intricate legal options to each migrant.

DHS also placed a limitation on the use of the expedited removal expansion, limiting the effectiveness of the option further. The process will not be applied to family unit migrants with children or unaccompanied migrants.

In response to the rapidly rising number of migrant apprehensions ahead of the end of Title 42, Texas Governor Greg Abbott ordered the deployment of a 545-soldier Tactical Border Force to supplement the approximately 10,000 Texas Nation Guard soldiers and airmen already deployed under Operation Lone Star, Breitbart Texas reported.

“Biden sent 1,500 troops to the border to do paperwork,” the governor tweeted. “I deployed elite trained soldiers to defend Texas.”

The governor also stepped up the program of busing migrants from the Texas border region to Democrat-run sanctuary cities.

Officials with the Office of the Texas Governor told Breitbart Texas on Tuesday that the State of Texas is stepping up the busing of migrants from the border region to sanctuary cities in response to the most recent migrant surge. Three buses left Texas this week heading to Chicago, New York City, and Philadelphia, officials stated.

The first bus arrived in Chicago on Tuesday morning, a source told Breitbart. Buses to New York City and Philadelphia remain en route.

As the border crisis grows, Governor Greg Abbott ordered an increase in the busing of migrants from the Texas border region to the sanctuary cities of Chicago, New York City, and Philadelphia. The first bus of about 50 migrants arrived in Chicago late Tuesday morning after a journey from Laredo, Texas.

Officials with the Office of the Texas Governor told Breitbart Texas on Tuesday that the State of Texas is stepping up the busing of migrants from the border region to sanctuary cities in response to the most recent migrant surge. U.S. Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz tweeted on Monday that 26,382 migrants crossed the border between ports of entry during the past three days. An additional 7,399 crossed and managed to avoid apprehension.

Chief Ortiz’s tweet reports that approximately 11,260 migrants are known to have crossed the border per day during the past 72 hours. Of those, agents took 26,382 into custody (8,794 per day) while another 7,399 (2,466 per day) are classified as known got-aways.

Over the weekend, the chief tweeted a seven-day report showing the apprehension of 54,951 migrants (7,850 per day) and 18,698 got-aways (2,671 per day). This averages just over 10,521 known border crossers per day.

On May 1, just one week ago, Ortiz tweeted that agents apprehended 22,220 migrants during the previous 72 hours. This equates to 3,174 apprehensions per day. He did not show the number of got-aways in this report.

During the past ten days, the number of migrant apprehensions per day increased by nearly 177 percent from  3,174 per day to 8,794 per day.

These numbers do not include migrants who crossed but who were not detected or apprehended by Border Patrol.

The number of migrant crossings per day continues to rise as the end of Title 42 nears. In response to the surge, Texas Governor Greg Abbott ordered the deployment of a 545-soldier Tactical Border Force to supplement the approximately 10,000 Texas Nation Guard soldiers and airmen already deployed under Operation Lone Star, Breitbart Texas reported.

“Biden sent 1,500 troops to the border to do paperwork,” the governor tweeted. “I deployed elite trained soldiers to defend Texas.”

“Governor Abbott launched the border bus mission in April 2022 to provide support to our overrun and overwhelmed border communities as the Biden Administration dumps thousands of migrants in their towns,” Andrew Mahaleris, press secretary for Governor Abbott said in response to an inquiry from Breitbart Texas. “Texas has since bused over 17,300 migrants to self-declared sanctuary cities Washington, D.C., New York, Chicago, and Philadelphia, providing much-needed relief.”

“When President Biden ends Title 42 in two days, by the Biden Administration’s own admission, there could be as many as 13,000 illegal immigrants a day crossing the border,” Mahaleris added. “Until President Biden steps up and does his job, Texas will continue busing migrants to sanctuary cities to provide relief to our overwhelmed border towns.”

The predicted rate of apprehensions is about to become reality as on Monday, Border Patrol agents, for the first time, apprehended more than 10,000 migrants in a single day, Breitbart Texas reported. This is up from 8,684 on Sunday. Of the Sunday apprehensions, agents in the five Texas-based sectors apprehend more than 5,100 migrants who crossed the border from Mexico, according to a law enforcement source. This represents nearly 60 percent of the nearly 8,700 who crossed the entire southwest border with Mexico.

The governor’s office supplied the following data for the number of migrants delivered to Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. since the program began in April 2022:

  • Washington, D.C.: more than 9,100 migrants on over 200 buses
  • New York City: more than 5,700 migrants on over 115 buses
  • Chicago: more than 1,600 migrants on over 30 buses
  • Philadelphia: more than 920 migrants on over 15 buses

In addition to the resumption of migrant busing to sanctuary cities, Governor Abbott also ordered the deployment of a newly created Texas Tactical Border Force made up of 545 members of the Texas National Guard.

“These additional forces will bolster the thousands of Texas National Guard service members already assisting local and state law enforcement agencies to secure the border; stop the smuggling of drugs, weapons, and people into Texas; and prevent, detect, and interdict transnational criminal behavior between the ports of entry,” Texas Military Department officials said in a written statement.

“Biden sent 1,500 troops to the border to do paperwork,” Governor Abbott tweeted. “I deployed elite trained soldiers to defend Texas.”

ICE: Jailed ‘Wife’ of East Texas 5x Murder Suspect Also a Deported Migrant

COLDSPRING, Texas — The “wife” of the four-time deported Mexican national accused of murdering five Honduran migrants in their home is also an immigration fugitive, according to federal immigration officials. The woman, now in the Montgomery County, Texas, jail on felony charges of helping accused murderer Francisco Oropesa evade arrest, is herself an immigration fugitive after being ordered removed from the U.S. for a second time.

Responding to an inquiry from Breitbart Texas, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officials reported they placed an immigration detainer on 52-year-old Divimara Lamar Nava, an unlawfully present Mexican national. Officials say Nava was removed from the U.S. by ERO officers after an immigration judge ordered her removal on December 29, 2009.

Sometime after her deportation, Nava illegally re-entered the U.S. at an unknown location, officials stated. Members of an ICE ERO Houston fugitive operations team encountered Nava again at a residence in Conroe, Texas, on September 25. Officials reinstated her previous order of removal.

Nava was allowed “for humanitarian reasons” to report later to an ICE facility for an order of supervision prior to being removed to Mexico. “Nava absconded from immigration authorities before she could be removed and has remained an immigration fugitive until she was encountered at the Montgomery County Jail on May 3, 2023,” officials stated.

This is the day that a law enforcement team consisting of Border Patrol BORTAC agents, U.S. Marshal Service deputies, and Texas DPS CID agents raided a home in Cut & Shoot, Texas, and arrested murder suspect Francisco Oropesa, as reported by Breitbart Texas.

In an interview with Breitbart Texas, San Jacinto County District Attorney Todd Dillon said Nava was present at the scene as the team arrested Oropesa. While the couple is not legally married, Oropesa reportedly refers to Nava as his wife.

“Ms. Nava was on the scene (of the murders of five Hondurans including a young child) when we first saw her,” Dillon stated. “The evidence we have so far in the investigation is that she probably wasn’t assisting him int he early hours of this (incident).

When the law enforcement team caught up with Oropesa four days later, “Ms. Nava was there,” Dillion said. “It’s suggesting at this point that her acts that she committed were actually within the jurisdiction of Montgomery County (Texas).”

He said that if information comes out that she assisted his movement out of San Jacinto County she could face additional charges.

Montgomery County jail records obtained by Breitbart Texas indicate Nava is facing a felony charge of Hindering Apprehension/Prosecution of a Known Felon. She is being held on a $250,000 bond. In addition, the immigration detainer placed by ICE would keep her in jail if she were to raise the bond fee.

ICE officials previously confirmed to Breitbart Texas that the man charged with the murders of the five Honduran migrants living next door to his house in Cleveland, Texas, is also a previously deported Mexican national with a criminal history in Texas.

Officials report that an immigration judge first ordered Francisco Oropeza Perez-Torres, 38, to be removed from the United States on March 19, 2009. ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations officers deported the migrant to Mexico later that month.

Subsequent to this, Oropeza illegally re-entered the U.S. and was removed, once again, in September 2009. He was removed two more times in January 2012 and July 2016.

In January 2012, a Texas court in Montgomery County (which neighbors San Jacinto County where the alleged murders took place) convicted the Mexican national of driving while intoxicated. The court sentenced him to an unreported period of incarceration.
