Emails Show Burisma Executive Opened Maltese Bank Account for Hunter Biden
Burisma Holdings executive Vadym Pozharskyi informed Hunter Biden in 2016 that he was opening a Maltese bank account for him, emails from Hunter Biden’s laptop show.
Pozharskyi was an associate of Mykola Zlochevsky, who allegedly paid Hunter and Joe Biden each $5 million in a pay-for-play scheme. According to Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), an FBI informant document indicates Mykola Zlochevsky allegedly kept 17 audio recordings of his conversations with them as an “insurance policy.”
Emails uncovered by the nonprofit Marco Polo suggest Burisma tried to move money to the Bidens through a Maltese bank account set up by Pozharskyi for Hunter Biden.
In May 2016, Pozharskyi requested the documentation required for the account opening, including a copy of Hunter’s passport, a bank reference letter, and a utility bill:

In the following weeks, Hunter Biden’s assistant, Joan Mayer, provided copies of Hunter’s documentation at the request of Pozharskyi. Mayer also suggested providing a letter from Hunter’s law firm to confirm his annual salary:

On May 13, 2016, just a week after Mayer followed up with Pozharskyi about the additional documents, a Burisma attorney emailed Hunter Biden sharing the address and swift code of the Maltese bank, Satabank:

A few days later, Mayer sent “Hunter’s tax ID number and signature” to Pozharskyi, who responded with a confirmation: “All received!”

According to Times of Malta, in 2018, Satabank closed upon money laundering violations:
The transaction involved Ukranian energy giant Burisma Group, which had US-President-elect Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, on its board of directors until April 2019.
It passed due diligence tests including one by Malta-based Satabank, which processed the transaction and has since lost its licence to operate.
The court heard how the police investigation began over the involvement of Burisma’s founder, Mykola Zlochevsky, a Ukrainian oil and natural gas businessman, politician and oligarch.
A year later, the bank’s accounts froze, and investigations started for suspicious transactions tied to illegal activities, Malta reported in 2019. In 2021, Maltareported that “[n]early €11 billion in transactions that flowed through the Malta-based Satabank were flagged as suspicious in 2020, auditors EY have said.”
In 2020, the New York Postreported that Ukrainian officials seized a $6 million cash bribe linked to Mykola Zlochevsky. “Ukrainian officials seized a $6 million cash bribe — the largest in the nation’s history — in a case linked to the founder of Burisma Holdings, the gas company that gave Hunter Biden a seat on its board of trustees,” the report read.
Hunter and Joe Biden appeared to have personally met with Pozharskyi in 2015. Pozharskyi emailed Hunter Biden and his business partner Devon Archer to thank Hunter Biden for organizing a private dinner with then-Vice President Joe Biden at Cafe Milano in D.C.
“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” the email reads.
In a previous email, Pozharskyi asked Hunter Biden for advice to benefit Burisma:

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), a member of the House Oversight Committee, told Breitbart News last week that the FBI’s informant document depicts Zlochevsky telling the informant that the alleged payments of the bribes would take ten years to unravel.
She also said the document indicated Hunter Biden’s position on Burisma’s board, where he received about $80,000 per month. These were monthly installments of a $5 million total cut owed to Hunter Biden in the deal with his father.
Despite the allegations, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) believes the FBI has taken little to no action on the FBI’s informant’s information. The stonewalling triggered Comer to issue two more bank subpoenas last week, along with a demand for Devon Archer to testify. Archer is a Biden family business associate and Hunter Biden’s “best friend in business.”
Archer served in 2014 with Hunter Biden on the board of Burisma, a Ukraine-based energy company. Archer was also photographed playing golf with then-Vice President Joe Biden in Southhampton, New York, in 2014. In 2016, Archer resigned from Burisma’s board after his arrest.

James Comer Predicts Biden Bank Records Will Show Family Accepted Up to $30M from Foreign Business
House Oversight Committee chair Rep. James Comer (R-KY) predicted Thursday that newly subpoenaed Biden bank records will show the family accepted up to $30 million from its foreign business dealings.
In March, Comer’s probe identified three Biden family members who collectively received $1.3 million, wired through a Biden associate from a Chinese energy company two months after Joe Biden left the vice presidency.
In May, Comer discovered that over the course of several years, the Biden family business received at least $10 million from business schemes in Romania and China in return for what appears to be influence peddling. In total, nine Biden family members received payments from the family foreign business ventures, including two of Joe Biden’s grandchildren.

“We have more bank records coming in going to exceed $10 million, this week. And I think we will get between $20 and 30 million,” Comer told Fox News.
Last week, Comer subpoenaed two more banks related to the Biden family’s business schemes in Ukraine.

In addition, he subpoenaed Hunter Biden’s business partner, Devon Archer, for deposition this week. Archer served in 2014 with Hunter on the board of Burisma, a Ukraine-based energy company. He was photographed in 2014 playing golf with Joe Biden. In 2022, a judge sentenced Archer to a year and a day in prison.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) told Breitbart News on Friday the subpoenas were triggered by an FBI informant document that alleged Joe Biden accepted a $5 million bribe from a Ukrainian oligarch.
According to Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), the document also says the founder of Bursima, Mykola Zlochevsky, who allegedly paid Joe Biden and Hunter, kept 17 audio recordings of his conversations with them as an “insurance policy.”

We have seen for some time how off-the-rails the FBI has become, a danger to a free society. More and more evidence now shows it’s not just the FBI. Every federal employee with a badge and gun seems to think he’s a law unto himself. This week the spotlight is on the IRS, and the Congress has to step up and rein the agency in.
While Matt Taibbi was testifying before Congress on the administration’s extensive censoring of social media content, the IRS appeared at his door, ostensibly to question him about his taxes, but obviously to intimidate him for showing up government censorship.
Mr. Taibbi has told Mr. Jordan’s committee that an IRS agent showed up at his personal residence in New Jersey on March 9. That happens to be the same day Mr. Taibbi testified before the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government about what he learned about Twitter. The taxman left a note instructing Mr. Taibbi to call the IRS four days later. Mr. Taibbi was told in a call with the agent that both his 2018 and 2021 tax returns had been rejected owing to concerns over identity theft.
Mr. Taibbi has provided the committee with documentation showing his 2018 return had been electronically accepted, and he says the IRS never notified him or his accountants of a problem after he filed that 2018 return more than four-and-a-half years ago.
He says the IRS initially rejected his 2021 return, which he later refiled, and it was rejected again -- even though Mr. Taibbi says his accountants refiled it with an IRS-provided pin number. Mr. Taibbi notes that in neither case was the issue “monetary,” and that the IRS owes him a “considerable” sum.
The bigger question is when did the IRS start to dispatch agents for surprise house calls? Typically, when the IRS challenges some part of a tax return, it sends a dunning letter. Or it might seek more information from the taxpayer or tax preparer. If the IRS wants to audit a return, it schedules a meeting at the agent’s office. It doesn’t drop by unannounced.
But that was just the beginning of a series of outrageous actions.
We have recently received allegations that an Internal Revenue Service Agent provided a false name to an Ohio taxpayer as part of a deception to gain entry into the taxpayer’s home to confront her about delinquent tax filings. When the taxpayer rightfully objected to the agent’s tactics, the IRS agent insisted that he “can …go into anyone’s house at any time” as an IRS agent.”
The Wall Street Journalprovides more details of this civil rights intrusion. The taxpayer was a fiduciary for an estate:
Mr. Haus claimed she had not properly filled out estate forms and owed the IRS “a substantial amount.” Only when the taxpayer presented proof of paying all taxes on the estate did the agent reveal that his visit wasn’t about the estate at all. It was about several supposed delinquent tax returns related to the decedent of the estate.
The letter says the taxpayer called her attorney, who insisted Mr. Haus leave the house, only to be told by Mr. Haus: “I am an IRS agent, I can be at and go into anyone’s house at any time I want to be.” Mr. Haus finally left, but not before threatening to freeze the taxpayer’s assets and put a lien on her house if she didn’t satisfy the balance in a week. Fearing a scam, she called the local police, who ran Mr. Haus’s license plate to verify his identity.
When an officer called Mr. Haus, Mr. Haus identified himself as an IRS agent but said Haus wasn’t his real name. He had used an alias. The officer, also suspecting a scam, warned that if he returned to the taxpayer’s home he’d be arrested. Mr. Haus then filed a complaint against the Marion police officer with the Treasury Department inspector general.
The House letter says the taxpayer on May 4 spoke with Mr. Haus’s supervisor, who clarified that she owed nothing and said -- in the understatement of the year -- that “things never should have gotten this far.” Yet the following day, the taxpayer received a letter -- addressed to the decedent -- stating that the decedent was delinquent on several 1040 filings. This was the first and only mail notification the taxpayer received. The taxpayer was again told by the supervisor that nothing was owed and was notified on May 30 that the case was closed.
If true, this is something else. An agent of the Treasury, wielding the power of tax enforcement, shows up unannounced at a taxpayer’s home. He lies about his identity and his purpose to get inside, then threatens the taxpayer with punishment if she doesn’t pay a tax bill that she doesn’t owe. The IRS agent leaves only after an intervention by her lawyer, and when local police call the agent, he sics the Treasury Department on the officer.
The overreach by armed IRS agents didn’t stop after these two incidents. Twenty armed IRS agents raided a gun store in Great Falls, Montana, earlier this week. The owner reports that these agents confiscated all the 4473 forms, none of which contain any financial information. David Paulides tweeted: “20 armed IRS agents raided his store in Great Falls earlier this week. Tom [the shop owner] informed me that these agents confiscated all the 4473 forms, none of which contain any financial information; instead, the IRS now has access to these forms with sensitive personal details of every customer who purchased a firearm from Highwood Creek Outfitters.”
Does any of this bother you? The debt deal on the Inflation Reduction Act did cut $21 billion out of the IRS’ $80 billion budget, but did not reduce or eliminate the Administration’s plan to hire 87,000 more of these armed, over-the-top Fearless Fosdicks. Forbes dismissed the objections to retaining this expense.
“The Inflation Reduction Act past [sic] last year, gave the IRS billions to go into what the Wall Street Journal at the time called “beast mode.” That law was doling out about $80 billion to the IRS for increased enforcement, operational improvements, customer service, and systems modernization. That stands at more than six times the 2022 annual IRS budget of $12.6 billion. Of the $80 billion, a whopping $45.6 billion was for enforcement. Earlier reports had suggested that the IRS would hire 87,000 new agents. Unfortunately, the ‘87,000 new IRS agents’ line because [sic] a rallying cry for some groups, and some of those lines may resurface again now.”
You can bet those massive new hires will remain a rallying cry.

Two Biden administration political appointees within the Justice Department are working to block charges against Hunter Biden for tax violations against recommendations, an IRS whistleblower alleged Wednesday, saying the appointees are engaging in “preferential treatment and politics.”
Hunter is under investigation by the DOJ for tax fraud, money laundering, and violation of lobbying laws. Trump-appointed U.S. prosecutor David Weiss for months has been weighing if there is sufficient evidence for the grand jury to indict him.
According to the whistleblower’s attorney, Mark Lytle, his client wishes to speak with congressional investigators to corroborate his claims of political interference in the probe, which he has reported to the Justice Department’s top watchdog, according to a report.
In a letter obtained by Just the News, “The IRS agent has … disclosed his concerns to both the Treasury Department Inspector General for Tax Administration and Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz.” The letter goes on to say:
Specifically, the agent has provided evidence that at least two Biden DOJ political appointees in U.S. attorneys’ offices have declined to seek a tax indictment against Hunter Biden despite career investigators’ recommendations to do so and the blessing of career prosecutors in the DOJ tax division.
In addition, the whistleblower alleges Weiss asked to be named as a special counsel in the probe to provide a degree of separation between the probe and Joe Biden. That request was apparently turned down.
The allegations come as the grand jury appears to have convened as far back as May 2019, a confidential subpoena served to JPMorgan Chase bank reveals. The subpoena sought bank records of Hunter and James Biden.
According to the New York Times, Hunter has tried to settle the DOJ’s probe. In 2021, Hunter paid an outstanding $1 million IRS tax bill to evade conviction or a long sentence. The payment could benefit Hunter’s defense.
The probe into Hunter could implicate President Joe Biden. A witness who testified before the jury was reportedly asked to identify the “big guy.” The “Big Guy” is a reference to a joint venture between the Biden family, associates, and CEFC China Energy Co., in which Joe Biden would receive a ten percent equity stake. CEFC also paid Hunter a $1 million legal retainer.
In March 2018, James Biden demanded the legal services payment and provided CEFC “wiring instructions” to transfer the funds to Hudson West III LLC, an entity James and Hunter controlled.
House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) revealed in March the Biden family received a collective $1.3 million cut in 2017 from a Biden family business associate, who was sent a $3 million wire transfer from CEFC. Hunter has confirmed the $1.3 million China payout, while Joe Biden falsely denied it.
Comer believes Biden family members received the $1.3 million in return for favors from Joe Biden. “We believe the reason the family was receiving this money is because of favors that Joe Biden did as vice president and or as president,” Comer told Bloomberg in March.
Comer’s investigation into the Biden family for nine violations, including tax evasion, money laundering, and wire fraud, is a separate probe from the DOJ’s.
Comer’s investigation has encompassed subpoenaing four major U.S. banks and one individual. The subpoenaed banks are Bank of America, Cathay Bank, JPMorgan Chase, and HSBC USA N.A. The banks have complied with the subpoenas.
Comer also subpoenaed the Biden family’s CEFC partner, Mervyn Yan. As a former CEFC official, Yan was an integral member of the Chinese energy conglomerate with strong ties to the Chinese Communist Party. Yan appears to be one of the few top CEFC officials who has not been detained or arrested.
“We’ve been wondering all along where the heck the DOJ and the IRS have been. Now it appears the Biden Administration may have been working overtime to prevent the Bidens from facing any consequences,” Comer told Breitbart News. “The House Oversight Committee will work to hold accountable anyone in the Biden Administration who may be covering up this criminal activity.”

Key Biden witnesses either in jail, court, or missing: James Comer
An informant alleging a $5 million bribery scheme involving President Joe Biden is reportedly a “highly credible” FBI source with a history dating back to the Obama administration era.
The FBI possesses a document from an interview the FBI conducted with the informant, which allegedly details an arrangement involving an exchange of money for policy decisions between now-President Joe Biden and a foreign national.
After weeks of stonewalling a congressional subpoena, FBI Director Christopher Wray finally agreed to allow members of Congress to view the unclassified document next Monday. A House Oversight Committee spokesperson told CNN the committee still plans to move forward with holding the FBI in contempt of Congress.
A source told Fox News the informant was a “pre-existing” FBI source with a long track record dating back “at least several years” to the Obama era before generating the file detailing allegations against then-Vice President Biden.
In addition, the source claimed the informant was previously “found to be highly credible” and was “consistently reviewed by the FBI.”
In May, James Comer issued a subpoena to obtain the document from the FBI following legally protected disclosures to Sen. Chuck Grassley’s (R-IA) office.
Elements of a potential bribery scheme involving Biden and his family members’ overseas business interests have been evident for years. Breitbart News’s Joel Pollak wrote in March that there was evidence supporting the impeachment of President Biden for bribery:
Hunter Biden’s overseas business ventures had been recognized as early as 2015 as a potential conflict of interest for his father. Diplomats and journalists questioned Hunter Biden’s appointment to the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma, where he earned $83,333 per month, despite lacking relevant expertise, while his father was in office.
Those concerns were brushed aside, however, by the vice president’s office, and the issue was never resolved. Hunter Biden also connected other foreign business associates with his father, including Chinese associates.
Biden could be impeached retroactively, following a precedent set by Democrats in their second impeachment trial of President Donald Trump in 2021.

Here are selections from the Jordan letter. First, the opening paragraph:
"On May 12, 2023, Special Counsel John Durham released a report detailing the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) failings in opening and conducting an investigation -- code named “Crossfire Hurricane” -- into debunked allegations of collusion between Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and the Russian government. The extent of the FBI’s bias and reckless disregard for the truth, which Special Counsel Durham laid out in painstaking detail, is nothing short of scandalous. The FBI has tried to dismiss the report’s findings by claiming to have “already implemented dozens of corrective actions” to prevent similar misconduct in the future. The FBI’s window dressing is not enough. The Special Counsel’s report serves as a stark reminder of the need for more accountability and reforms within the FBI. Accordingly, as Congress conducts oversight to inform these legislative reforms, we write to ensure the Justice Department act to preserve the integrity and impartiality of ongoing investigations from the FBI’s politicized bureaucracy."
Chairman Jordan rightly described "the FBI's bias and reckless disregard for the truth" in its earlier probe of President Trump, as "nothing short of scandalous" and underscored "the need for more accountability and reforms within the FBI." And to end the politicization of the FBI -- under Garland's stewardship, it is fair to infer.
"Public trust in the FBI is low. Recent examples of political bias in FBI and Department of Justice operations show that the so-called “corrective measures” the FBI instituted after Crossfire Hurricane have done nothing to address, let alone cure, the institutional rot that pervades the FBI. It is clear that Congress must consider legislative reforms to the FBI, and the Committee has been engaged in robust oversight to inform those legislative proposals. In the interim, however, due to the FBI’s documented political bias, the Justice Department must ensure any ongoing investigations are not poisoned by this same politicization."
Note the phrase "the institutional rot that pervades the FBI" followed by Jordan's observation that "Congress must consider legislative reforms to the FBI." On May 12, Chairman Jordan should have realized that "institutional rot" pervades law enforcement bodies beyond the FBI -- under the control of "progressive" prosecutors. On May 12, Mark Pomerantz exhibited bad faith when he stonewalled Chairman Jordan at a deposition agreed to by Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg, related to Bragg's indictment of the former president in what might be called "hush money-gate."
Incredibly, the "rebuff" included taking the Fifth Amendment by the "ex-prosecutor."
There is, arguably, a lesson for Chairman Jordan to learn from his experience with the Manhattan district attorney and the resistance-prone Pomerantz.
Chairman Jordan is certainly justified, in the aftermath of the Durham Report, in seeking to hold to account the bad actors in the FBI. But shouldn't he first hold the Manhattan district attorney and his "ex-prosecutor" to comply with the agreement for Pomerantz to testify at a deposition made possible pursuant to a court ruling by U.S. Judge May Kay Vyskocil? With Bragg and Pomerantz thumbing noses at Jim Jordan, can we expect the attorney general to behave differently? Of course not.

“Chairman Comer will receive a briefing from the FBI and review the document on Monday. Chairman Comer has been clear that anything short of producing the FD-1023 form to the House Oversight Committee is not compliance with his subpoena,” the spokesperson told Breitbart News. “This unclassified record contains pages of details that need to be investigated further by the House Oversight Committee.”
A House Oversight Committee spokesperson told CNN chair James Comer (R-KY) still plans to move forward with the contempt process.
The FBI previously resisted divulging the document due to its confidential information. But after the threat of being held in contempt of Congress, the FBI will bring the document to Capitol Hill for members to inspect.
“Director Wray offered to provide the Committee’s Chairman and Ranking Member an opportunity to review information responsive to the subpoena in a secure manner to accommodate the committee, while protecting the confidentiality and safety of sources and important investigative sensitivities,” the bureau told Just the News. “The FBI has continually demonstrated its commitment to working with the Committee to accommodate its request, from scheduling briefings and calls to now allowing the Chair to review information in person.”
Previous House Republican threats to hold the FBI in contempt of Congress angered the White House, which called the initiative a “silly charade” and a “political stunt.”
“This silly charade by @JamesComer is yet another reminder that his so-called ‘investigations’ are political stunts not meant to uncover facts but to spread thin innuendo to attack the President and get himself media attention and the Fox News spotlight,” White House spokesperson Ian Sams posted on Twitter.

The FBI confirmed the existence of an informant file the bureau refuses to provide Congress that allegedly links President Joe Biden to a $5 million bribery scheme, a confirmation the Justice Department previously did not deny, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) revealed Wednesday.
Comer and FBI Director Christopher Wray conducted a scheduled meeting Wednesday in which the bureau chief confirmed the file’s existence. The file allegedly details an arrangement involving an exchange of money for policy decisions between now-President Biden and a foreign national.
Okay. Let's see it. I'm all for protecting national security and sources, but we can do it. We can see the information on the memo and prove for once and for all whether or not money impacted policy decisions. It would be nice to know if nine Biden family members won the big Lotto or received payments from business ventures under "The Big Guy."
Director Christopher Wray has another problem – the FBI’s credibility issues revealed in the Durham Report. The director can say that reforms were implemented or he can put the document on the table and let the country see the evidence. Again, he can protect sources and confirm that the it's something or nothing.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) told Breitbart News in an exclusive that his “number one goal” this year is to block reauthorization of what is known as the “crown jewel” for the intelligence agencies.
Jordan spoke to Breitbart News as Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) will soon expire, leaving an opportunity for privacy-centric lawmakers and those critical of government overreach to fight for reform.

The Judiciary Committee chairman, who will have significant sway over the FISA reauthorization debate, said in no uncertain terms that he would do whatever he could to block reauthorizing the program.
Jordan said, “The number one goal I have between now and the end of the year is to stop the reauthorization of the 702 FISA program.”
The Ohio conservative in his argument against reauthorizing Section 702 cited a recently unsealed court document that found the FBI misused FISA over 300,000 times between 2020 and early 2021.
Section 702 is a law that allows intelligence agencies to collect communications of targeted foreigners. It also may lead to targeted surveillance of Americans’ private communications, which privacy advocates consider a run around the Fourth Amendment’s requirement for a warrant to search Americans’ communications.
An FBI audit also found that the agency had “insufficient justification” for two FISA searches relating to “January 6th Capitol Violence.”
Rep. Darin LaHood (R-IL), a member of the House Intelligence Committee, dramatically revealed that he was the unnamed lawmaker that was surveilled by the FBI. The FBI said the surveillance was a defensive countermeasure to make sure the Illinois Republican was not the subject of a foreign influence operation.

Jordan and other lawmakers’ critical comments about FISA may make a blanket reauthorization a non-starter.
Rep. Warren Davidson (R-OH) said in reaction to the report that the FBI had violated Americans’ privacy hundreds of thousands of times. “We know surveillance programs like Section 702 have been abused. Americans’ have a constitutional right to privacy, and we must end warrantless surveillance programs,” Davidson said.
Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), the chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, said, “This is an outrageous & unacceptable abuse of power. We cannot reauthorize FISA without a complete privacy overhaul that prevents the government from warrantlessly spying on Americans.”

White House Lashes out over Effort to Hold FBI Director in Contempt of Congress
White House spokesman Ian Sams lashed out against House Republicans who plan to hold FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt of Congress for refusing to divulge an unclassified, subpoenaed document that allegedly details an arrangement involving an exchange of money for policy decisions between now-President Joe Biden and a foreign national.
After Wednesday’s meeting between Wray and House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY), in which the bureau chief confirmed the file’s existence, Comer doubled down on his threat to hold Wray in contempt of Congress — which the White House called a “silly charade” and a “political stunt.”
“This silly charade by @JamesComer is yet another reminder that his so-called ‘investigations’ are political stunts not meant to uncover facts but to spread thin innuendo to attack the President and get himself media attention and the Fox News spotlight,” Sams posted on Twitter shortly after the meeting.
During Comer’s meeting with Wray, the FBI confirmed the existence of the subpoenaed informant file the bureau refuses to provide Congress that allegedly links President Joe Biden to a $5 million bribery scheme, Comer said. The Justice Department previously did not deny the document’s existence upon Comer’s subpoena.
Comer said in a statement:
While Director Wray – after a month of refusing to even acknowledge that the form existed – has offered to allow us to see the documents in person at FBI headquarters, we have been clear that anything short of producing these documents to the House Oversight Committee is not in compliance with the subpoena. If the FBI fails to hand over the FD-1023 form as required by the subpoena, the House Oversight Committee will begin contempt of Congress proceedings.
After releasing the statement, Comer told Fox News that he and Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) already inspected the document he subpoenaed and will go to the FBI headquarters and review it again.
“We will go there and look at the redacted document. But we know what is in the document,” he said.
House Oversight Ranking Member Jamie Raskin (D-MD) also voiced frustrations with Comer for threatening to hold Wray in contempt of Congress after reviewing the document.
“Despite these extraordinary accommodations—and the fact that Republicans have claimed to have access to the very information subpoenaed—Chairman Comer has continued to insist he will hold the FBI Director in contempt,” Raskin told reporters.
The Democrats’ angst about the FBI potentially being held in contempt comes as Comer’s probe into the Biden family uncovered damning information. The probe uncovered that the Biden family business, over the course of several years, received at least $10 million from business schemes in Romania and China in return for what appears to be influence peddling. In addition, nine Biden family members received payments from the family foreign business ventures, including two of Joe Biden’s grandchildren, Comer revealed.

proof of paying all taxes on the estate did the agent reveal that his visit wasn’t about the estate at all. It was about several supposed delinquent tax returns related to the decedent of the estate.
