Socialist Georgia Mayor Arrested for Burglarizing Home

Police arrested the socialist mayor of South Fulton, Georgia, this weekend, after he illegally trespassed into a resident's home.

Khalid Kamau, a vocal Democratic Socialist and cofounder of the Atlanta chapter of Black Lives Matter, is charged with first-degree trespass and burglary after a homeowner caught him entering his home on Saturday.

Homeowner Jack Lecroy said he confronted Kamau with his gun after he received a security alert on his phone that someone was on his property. Kamau began to walk away from the house and Lecroy shouted for him to stop and wait for police.

"I don’t have to listen to you, and you can’t

give me orders," the socialist mayor yelled in

response, according to police reports. He then

screamed profanities at the homeowner. He

later said that he wanted to see the home

because he'd like to live there and was aware

that he was criminally trespassing.

"The City of South Fulton is committed to upholding the law and ensuring that all individuals, regardless of their position, are subject to the same fair and just treatment. As the investigation is still ongoing, we are unable to provide further details at this time," the city said in a statement. Councilwoman Natasha Williams-Brown will step in to serve as acting mayor.

Kamau has served as the leader of the Atlanta chapter of Democratic Socialists of America and advocates for socialism.

"Democratic Socialists believe our country should be run by real, working people—not big corporations & billionaires," Kamau says on his website. He further calls for defunding police and cutting military spending.

The suspected mass shooter who killed five people in Philadelphia on Monday is a cross-dresser and Black Lives Matter supporter, investigations into his online activity suggest.

Forty-year-old Kimbrady Carriker is charged with five counts of murder after allegedly carrying out a mass shooting on the streets of the city’s Kingsessing neighborhood. Posts by the shooter online show him dressing like a woman and supporting leftist organizations. Five men were killed, and two children, including a two-year-old, were injured by Carriker, whom police found with a bulletproof vest, police scanner, and multiple weapons.

Carriker's posts featured weapons and pro-BLM captions, the New York Post reported:

One image featured a person holding a pistol with the caption: "Wherefore art thou opposition so I may slide upon thine block and runneth down on thee."

Another one of his posts showed footage of several kids firing off rounds from a rifle.

In May 2020, Carriker also posted a video to his Facebook of a burning Philadelphia police car that had been daubed with grafitti including "ACAB" — an acronym for "All coppers are b—–ds" — and captioned it: "I was there; where were you? #we matter." However, It is unclear if he had filmed the video himself.

Photos posted by Carriker in the months leading up to the shooting show him wearing a bra, a women's shirt, and earrings.

The killings come several months after transgender shooter Audrey Hale killed three children and three adults at the Covenant School in Nashville. The city's police are still refusing to release the killer's manifesto, citing pending litigation.

Hale, a biological woman, listed "He/Him" pronouns on a LinkedIn profile. Hale’s parents, who lived with the shooter, said Hale was under a doctor’s care for an "emotional disorder," police said.
