Yes, he fervently assured us, more than once, that God had truly blessed America. In hearing this I couldn’t help but think about the left’s favorite president – Barack Obama - and what his Pastor Reverend Wright thought God’s judgment on America was. The contrast was jarring. The cognitive dissonance was building.

As Obama approaches his sixtieth birthday, the age at which Khrushchev struggled for control of the USSR and Mao launched his Great Leap Forward, two events that would require a good deal of historical editing, our American past is already being rewritten. Only those who are at least in their thirties will remember that there wasn’t a racial crisis before Barack Obama.
Black voters are significantly less enthused about a Biden reelection campaign than they were in 2020, with only 55% saying they’re likely to support him in 2024, according to an early May AP/NORC poll. The same poll suggests that 81% of Democratic voters say they’d definitely or probably would support the president if he’s the nominee.
“We have to meet them where they are and we have to show them why the political process matters and what we have accomplished that benefits them,” Cedric L. Richmond, senior adviser at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and former Biden adviser, told the Post. “We will not make the mistake that others made of not drawing all the connections.”
The numbers jibe almost exactly with another poll taken in May:
An ABC News-Washington Post poll released Sunday showed that 52% of black voters approved of Biden, down from 82% when he took office in 2021. The same poll showed that 27% of black voters are likely or leaning towards voting for former President Donald Trump if he runs against Biden in the 2024 general election. ABC News and the Washington Post surveyed a random national sample of 1,006 adults by landline and telephone from April 28 to May 3.
Which is pretty interesting stuff. The pattern suggests that this is no outlier poll that could be wrong. There are a lot of black men out there who want nothing to do with Joe Biden and won't turn out to vote for him.
Which probably shouldn't be that surprising. What on earth could be appealing to them about this guy?
Under Biden, black people's standard of living has fallen sharply. Wage gains that began around the Trump era have been eaten away by Bidenflation. The White House is bragging that the post-COVID lockdown era has brought black workers back into the workforce at rising wages as if to say they should be happy about old Joe and his miracle economy:
Back in 2019, the average employed Black worker was in an occupation that paid $24.83 an hour. Today, the average Black worker is in a job that would have paid $25.53 an hour in 2019, a +2.8 percent rise. That shift is larger than the +1.9 percent increase among all Americans.
But what difference does that make when the price of food is 20% higher? Bidenflation has rendered those wage gains meaningless.
Meanwhile, Joe's open borders has delivered a second hit to black worker wages. Millions of illegal aliens flooding into the country inevitably drive wages down even further, especially for those on the first rungs of the career ladder, or those in low-paid low-skill occupations which includes many black voters.
It's no secret that blacks are strongly opposed to illegal immigration, not just for the wage impact but for the burdens that illegal migrants impose on the black community, which are not confined to lower wages but also mean higher crime and more competition for social services resources. When the school district money gets redirected into educating Jose just in from Tegucigalpa, you can bet that Jamal from Compton doesn't get the educational attention he needs, too.
What's more, black voters see little to like about the transgender agenda promoted by Democrats. A December 2021 poll from Rasmussen was devastating:
Nine out of ten black Americans reject the claim there are more “genders” than the two male and female sexes, according to a December 20-21 poll by Rasmussen Reports.
Just three of the roughly 150 blacks interviewed “strongly” agreed that there are more “genders” than female and male. But roughly 102 black respondents strongly denied that claim — which is a core element of the transgender ideology.
Another factor likely driving this is an aftereffect of the COVID vaccine mandates, which were opposed by blacks at a far higher rate than by whites.
Opposition to vaccine mandates brought draconian consequences to resisters, meaning, blacks were hit harder. How many of the some 9,000 servicemen kicked out of the military based on refusal to take the COVID vaccine were black people? Quite likely, it was a lot. Tucker Carlson's interview with rap superstar Ice Cube, where the latter expressed his skepticism for COVID vaccines and refused to take them, is likely very indicative of what black male voters are thinking.
Former Republican party operative Mark Shields said that the broad pattern suggests a Democrat focus on rich white voters' concerns to the detriment of black voters:
Further exacerbating this phenomenon is the Democratic Party’s move toward a much higher-income, White coastal voter base, and with it, a more left-wing progressivism that is alienating significant segments of Hispanic and Black voters.
No kidding. Lastly, what are black men being asked to vote for: Joe Biden? The creepy old white man who became a millionaire while in public office, and whose privileged drug-abusing son is right now skating on drug and corruption charges? Those same types of charges that have thrown millions of black men in prison for much tinier offenses?
How's that two-tier justice, with privileged Hunter getting coddled by the DOJ while millions of black men get the book thrown at them, working out for black male voters? We know it works great for Joe Biden and his fawning media gaslighters, but the hard reality of a two-tier justice system that works for Joe but not for the ordinary people cannot be lost on black male voters.
Sure, we can bring up that Soros district attorneys are refusing to prosecute anyone these days, but that brings in a whole new set of problems that has hit the black community hardest. Looted businesses, fleeing retailers and communities left with nothing owing to the authorities' refusal to prosecute crime are undoubtedly leaving many black victims. Law-abiding black people are left with the inevitable consequences of that white lenience on crime, while criminals of all colors are going free. Just a day or two ago, the Oakland NAACP branch condemned the authorities' refusal to prosecute crimes as detrimental to the black community. Enforcing actual laws on a one-tier basis would fix this, but Joe is looking out for Joe.
There are likely other reasons, too, to account for that 30-point drop in black male support for Joe Biden. It seems they are onto him, and more and more are moving to President Trump, who's always been pretty intelligible to these voters, and has attracted significant black support even before Biden was put out by Democrats as their candidate. Now that they have seen what Biden brings, I am surprised the drop in support is not higher. One thing we can say from this is that it is continuing, and for Republicans, assuming they welcome and encourage these voters, the trend is its friend. Let's hope they win over the entire bloc, because Democrats don't care about black people and more and more black voters are starting to see that they don't deserve their votes.

In 2017, David Garrow’s carefully researched Obama biography, Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama, appeared to much less fanfare than it deserved. The media undoubtedly downplayed it because it offered the truth behind many of Obama’s self-adulatory inventions, and Trump’s new presidency occupied everyone’s energy. What makes the book newsworthy today is that David Samuels has interviewed Garrow and revisited narratives in the book, reminding everyone of the scary, power-obsessed nastiness behind Obama’s carefully built façade.
The interview on Tablet is long and worth every second it takes you to read it. However, I’ve summarized below some of the highlights.
In Dreams from My Father, Obama describes his breakup with Sheila Miyoshi Jager, now a scholar known for her meticulous, honest research. According to Obama, they broke up because after seeing a play by August Wilson, a black writer, Obama suddenly gained a black consciousness that Jager refused to recognize or understand.
However, Garrow, unlike other journalists in America, interviewed Jager for her side of the story. It was quite different.
Jager said that they broke up because they went to see an exhibit about Adolf Eichman’s 1961 trial at the same time that Steve Cokely accused Chicago’s Jewish doctors of giving black babies AIDS. Jager, whose grandparents were honored as Righteous Gentiles for saving Jews during WWII, broke up with Obama because he refused to denounce anti-Semitism. Considering Obama’s open hostility to Israel and later palling around with famous anti-Semites (e.g., Rev. Wright; Obama’s infamous and still hidden tape at a pro-PLO dinner, and Obama’s photo with Farrakhan), her version rings true.
Another revelation was that Obama fantasized about sex with men, which would seem to support the many rumors about his sexuality.
When Garrow interviewed Obama over the course of 8 hours, he impressed Garrow with his focus on the “hilariously inconsequential,” such as insisting that he spoke fluent Indonesian in third grade.
When Garrow spoke with Bob Bauer, Obama’s lawyer, to ensure that he was correctly stating things Obama had told him, Bauer told Garrow something very unusual considering the book that launched Obama’s career:
My clearest memory, and there’s nothing officially off the record with Bob, so I think I can say this, and boy, it’s the clearest thing I remember of all my conversations with Bob. … This is close to a quote: “Whatever you do, don’t ask him about his father.”
Samuels noted how odd this was from the author of Dreams from My Father, eliciting from Garrow this stunning statement about a man he’d spoken with personally and whose life he explored in detail: “He’s not normal—as in not a normal politician or a normal human being.”
The interview expands on the letters Alex McNear, Obama’s girlfriend in college, received from Obama. As noted above, it was in those letters that Obama fantasized about sex with men. The passage in the interview about those letters is striking because they reveal that Obama was a narcissist, someone who used people but never connected with them. (The bolded passage is Samuel’s question):
Barack’s love letters to Alex, if they are actually love letters, are hard to read. Not just because they’re so poorly written, but because of the clear lack of any human interest in the person he’s writing to. The letters are completely performative. She may as well have been a tree or some kind of theater backdrop. Maybe all young men are guilty of this fault, but these examples seem pretty egregious.
It’s pretty clear to me, and this is me putting little pieces together with Alex and with Sheila, but I’m 97 percent convinced that Barack either drafted all those letters in his journal and then made them into letters, or he wrote the letters and then copied them into the journal.
According to Garrow, Obama has always kept journals that he will deep six forever. Why? Because “[h]e wants people to believe his story. For me to conclude that Dreams from My Father was historical fiction—oh God, did that infuriate him.”
There’s so much more, and every bit of it is worth reading because it reveals who Obama is and what the mainstream media assiduously ignored and, therefore, hid from the American public. All this still matters, by the way. There’s good reason to believe that Obama, who refused to leave D.C. after his presidency ended (a norm-busting decision that Samuels describes in detail), is calling the shots in the ostensible Biden presidency.
Additionally, as increasing numbers of people fear, there’s a good possibility that, when Biden is pushed out of the campaign, Michelle Obama will be substituted as the Democrat candidate—and she is still considered one of the most popular people in America, especially among two passionate voting demographics; namely, black and white women.
To my surprise, Jack Cashill's new book, Unmasking Obama, couldn't be more relevant to the political struggle facing us today. In 2020, as in 2008 (and throughout the two Obama presidential terms), the key to political power is what must be called "information warfare" (my term, not Jack's) between the mighty establishment media and the feisty conservative alternative media, which Jack likens to the samizdat underground commentary in the old Soviet Union. It is the process of the unmasking of the phony propaganda peddled by the all-powerful establishment by the resource- and prestige-poor "Lilliputians" (an appropriation of Jonathan Swift's work that the satirist surely would approve of) that is the heart of the book. The narrative history presented in Unmasking Obama is captivating. Jack takes readers along with him as he was both a participant in the warfare and a historian of it, digging up parts of the elusive truth about the real Barack Obama in the face of derision and obstruction that came his way. But Jack is far from the sole hero of the story of the warfare. Because of his literary detective work, proving beyond a reasonable doubt that Bill Ayers wrote the autobiographical book, Dreams from My Father, that first established Obama as a serious intellect, Jack enjoyed access to many of the most formidable truth-tellers about Obama. The book's prologue, in fact, begins with a phone call Jack received in 2011 from a then little-known lawyer named Michael Cohen, acting as a lawyer for Donald Trump. Unmasking Obama takes the reader through the major aspects of the fraudulent picture of Obama that was painted by the media and political establishments and details how the truth was uncovered and often partially suppressed by the retaliatory efforts launched in response. It often resembles detective fiction in the drama of the struggle to get at the truth and the struggle to prevent that. I hesitate to call it beach reading, for it is not in any sense fluff, intended to while away time. But it is vastly entertaining and thought-provoking, and the 218 pages fly by rapidly. Today, exactly the same struggle is underway between the Lilliputians seeking to uncover who really is running the front-man candidacy of Joe Biden and the shadowy movement that is looting and destroying our cities and the coordinated might of the mass media that spends 95% of its time pushing a party line that Trump is an unprecedented threat to human civilization and Joe Biden an amiable and pragmatic centrist. Future historians, if there are any left still interested and able to dispassionately understand how America came to the current point of crisis, will find the story told in Unmasking Obama a very helpful guide. If journalism is the "first draft of history," Unmasking Obama is a well considered second draft, adding crucial perspective and assessment of the consequences of the real-time reports. You don't have to wait that long, though. It went on sale last week, and is well worth your time.

During his presidency, Obama bragged that his administration was “the only thing between [Wall Street] and the pitchforks.”
In fact, Obama handed the robber barons and outright criminals responsible for the 2008–09 financial crisis a multi-trillion-dollar bailout. His administration oversaw the largest redistribution of wealth in history from the bottom to the top one percent, spearheading the attack on the living standards of teachers and autoworkers.
The Republican staff of the US House Committee on Financial Services released a report Monday presenting its findings on why the Obama Justice Department and then-Attorney General Eric Holder chose not to prosecute the British-based HSBC bank for laundering billions of dollars for Mexican and Colombian drug cartels.
“This was not because of difficulties in securing indictments or convictions. On the contrary, Attorney General Eric Holder told a Senate committee in March of 2013 that the Obama administration chose not to prosecute the big banks or their CEOs because to do so might “have a negative impact on the national economy.”
“Judicial Watch’s records request is designed to expose how California state legislators are wasting tax dollars to take care of another corrupt politician – Eric Holder – under the guise of resisting the rule of law on immigration and other matters,” stated Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton. “His record at the Clinton and Obama Justice Departments demonstrates a willingness to bend the law in order to protect his political patrons.”

Something has changed lately on the left. Democrats should be riding high now because they control the federal government: they've got the White House; the House; the Senate (sort of, with the filibuster the fragile thread keeping them from total control); and a Supreme Court that, while ostensibly conservative, has a closet leftist chief justice and two remarkably cowed new "conservative" justices. Nevertheless, they are an angry, fractious party. Last week, the knives came out for Kamala Harris. This coming week, a new book launches a scathing attack on that former secular saint, Barack Obama.
Since 2008, Barack Obama has been the Democrat party. He was the president who could do no wrong. Every political attack against him was discounted as "racism." He was more charming, more intelligent, more emotionally attuned, more effective, and more just everything good than any man who had ever occupied the White House, including Washington, Jefferson, and Lincoln combined. (All of them were racists.)
When Trump came along, the Democrats and their media shills weren't merely offended by his politics. In many ways, the gravest offense was that this loud, combative, conservative-governing orange man dared to step into a White House made hallowed by the presence of a man once hailed as a "magic negro" or another crucified Jesus.
Both Biden and Kamala got reverential treatment, but it was nothing like Obama. Biden was grandfatherly, experienced, kind, and stable, and he'd learned his White House politics under Obama's aegis. Kamala was brilliant, multi-racial and multi-cultural, female, and compassionate. Kamala was sold especially hard because everyone understood that Biden, no matter what he said, wasn't in it for the long haul. She was obviously going to be the real president, even before Biden inevitably withdrew and she got sworn in.
But as noted, something's been happening with the Democrats. They should be a jubilant party joyously imposing Marxism on the land, but, instead, they're angry, and they're starting to turn on each other. Just last week, Edward-Isaac Dovere, a longstanding author at The Atlantic, published a nasty attack on Kamala, although one phrased in polite terms.
Through anecdotes and quotes, Dovere reveals that Kamala is anti-social, socially awkward, bland, ineffective, unfocused, platitudinous, uninteresting, hostile to reporters, paranoid (she has an enemies list), and unable to hold onto her employees. None of this surprises me. My decades living and working in the Bay Area meant I'd heard rumors for years saying everything that Kamala offered politically came through her relationship with Willie Brown, a brilliant California politician. Without Brown, she's nothing.
For The Atlantic, one of the most politically loyal outlets in America, to publish such this attack on someone who should be a Democrat darling was surprising. More surprises arrived on Friday when the Daily Mail revealed that Edward-Isaac Dovere is back, this time with a new book describing Obama as a "parasite" sucking the Democrat party dry and leaving it with nothing. Although the book is ostensibly about the 2020 campaign, it's Obama who springs into focus:
Barack Obama was a 'parasite' on the Democrat party who sucked it dry for his reelection and left it saddled with debt, a new book claims.
The former President used the party structure as a 'host' for his 2012 campaign for a second term then treated it like a 'husk' to be discarded with $2.4million in debt.
Obama's aloof demeanor and professorial detachment masked the reality that he was full of 'self-assured self-regard.'
He oversaw the 'pilfering of talent, money, resources, and purpose' away from the Democratic National Committee to his own reelection team.

In a scathing portrait, Dovere, a journalist with The Atlantic, claims that Obama was so arrogant he believed that if he could have run in 2016 for a third term he could have beaten Trump.
Obama's ego was on full display on the golf course and he bragged that his Tweet sent after the Charlottesville far right rally in 2017 was liked more than anything Tweeted by Donald Trump.

He writes that Obama's hubris peaked in 2015 when the Supreme Court upheld Obamacare, his signature healthcare law, and ruled that the Fourteenth Amendment requires all states to grant same-sex marriages.

In actual fact, despite his 'beatification among Democrats', Obama 'inadvertently helped usher in what followed him', meaning Trump.

Former President Barack Obama warned Friday that the “rule of law is at risk” because former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn will no longer be prosecuted.
Obama’s remarks, leaked from a private conference call with members of something called the “Obama Alumni Association,” show a breathtaking lack of self-awareness.
Obama himself was the threat to the rule of law, both during his presidency and as it ended.
As Breitbart News has previously noted, Obama routinely violated the Constitution’s separation of powers, challenging America’s constitutional foundation in a way no president before him had done in peacetime.
“I’ve got a pen, and I’ve got a phone,” Obama said, threatening to use — and abuse — his executive power — rather than allow the constitutional process of legislation to proceed.
Here are just a few of Obama’s more egregious violations:
· Refusing to submit the Iran deal to the Senate for ratification
· Declaring the Senate in recess when it was not (struck down, later, in a 9-0 Supreme Court decision)
· Defying the courts when told to renew oil and gas activity in the Gulf of Mexico, or to stop giving amnesty to illegal aliens
· Threatening the Supreme Court after Citizens United, and before the Obamacare decision
· Creating the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Deferred Action for Parents of Americans (DAPA) programs after admitting it was unconstitutional
· Trying to wipe out the coal industry
Moreover, the Flynn investigation itself undermined the rule of law by targeting a man the government knew was innocent of any crime. Similarly, Obama’s own effort to protect Hillary Clinton, and his administration’s attempt to undermine Trump through false allegations of “Russia collusion,” also violated the rule of law.
Last week it emerged that it was Obama himself who told then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates about Flynn’s lawful conversation with the Russian ambassador, which set the investigative wheels in motion.
Obama’s phony protest suggests he is feeling desperate as attention turns, finally, to his own role in the affair.

The basic case in favor of impeachment is simply that he should be impeached because the President has been shown beyond any reasonable doubt to have been a central conspirator in a bribery scheme between government actors. Michelle Obama is actually a better politician than her husband Barack. She’s a better speaker and comes across more authentic, even though her race-based background stories are just as fictitious as Barack’s. Meanwhile the Democrat party has set Michelle up perfectly to become their nominee, with their first primary in South Carolina, where half the Democrat primary electorate is Black and a state where Michelle’s grandparents are from. And, most obviously, the Democrat national convention will be in Chicago. Get ready for America’s first “homegirl” political convention in 2024!
Michelle Obama’s Affirmative Action Adventure at Princeton
Last week, Michelle Obama, the politician, issued a formal position statement on Twitter regarding the Supreme Court decision to eliminate affirmative action in higher education. In doing so, Michelle not only revealed her political ambition, which I believe includes the Democratic nomination for president in 2024, but also the likelihood that she herself was an affirmative action student at Princeton University in 1981.
In my film and book of the same name, Michelle Obama 2024: Her Real Life Story and Plan for Power, I do a deep dive into Michelle’s Princeton University experience. What I discovered is an obvious beneficiary of racial preferences who feels obliged to deny her privilege and to denounce the very system that bestowed those privileges as racist.
In the years prior to applying to Princeton University, Michelle and her brother Craig avoided the all-Black South Shore High School only a one block walk from their home. The Robinson family wanted their children to study with Whites. This was no surprise given that Michelle had been beaten up by the neighborhood kids for “acting White” and “talking White” during her childhood. Michelle writes in her memoir, Becoming, about getting into a fist fight with a girl who repeatedly called Michelle an “oreo” – a major insult meaning you are Black on the outside but really White on the inside. Michelle had no desire to study with “those people” for high school.
Michelle’s brother Craig was sent to an expensive private Catholic school, Mount Carmel (the Robinsons were not Catholic), while Michelle took two buses 90 minutes to attend Whitney Young magnet school. At Whitney Young, Michelle was able to keep up with her school work and get decent grades by spending twice as much time on homework as her peers. However, Michelle’s shortcomings were exposed during testing. She admits to having done did poorly on standardized tests, including the SATs.
When it came time to apply for colleges, Michelle once again aspired to be as far away from the Black community as possible. Her preference was to follow her brother to Princeton University, where he was a star basketball player. However, Michelle’s low test scores were a problem. Here is what Prep Scholar had to say about getting into Princeton: “If you apply with a score below a 1570 SAT or a 35 ACT, you unfortunately start out with the odds against you and have a tiny chance of getting in.” A White Whitney Young classmate of Michelle’s placed seventh in her class compared to Michelle’s thirty-second, but was accepted by none of the Ivy League schools to which she applied. Princeton took Michelle.
Rather than acknowledging the affirmative action boost, Michelle has played the race card to falsely claim she was discouraged from applying. On numerous occasions, she has accused her Whitney Young high guidance counselor of profiling her racially. In a recent interview with Gayle King, Michelle claimed that the counselor had said to her, “You’re Black applying to Princeton, maybe you’re stretching.” Unfortunately for Michelle, in my research I discovered that Michelle’s high school counselor was a churchgoing Black woman and assistant principal named Nan King. Michelle gets away with her lie smearing this Black counselor only because she passed away in 2005. Her racial hoaxing has never quite risen to the Chicago standard set by Jussie Smollett, but it has been much more consequential.
Arriving at Princeton, Michelle struggled academically. Years later, Michelle would tell ABC’s Robyn Williams, “I didn’t even know the language of that college. What was a syllabus? Never heard of it!” In various commencement addresses, Michelle has told of getting her first ever C in Greek mythology. In her memoir Becoming, she tells of floundering her way through a theology class as a freshman, “ultimately salvaging my grade with an eleventh-hour, leave-it-all-on-the-field effort on the final paper.” Luckily, Michelle learned what to do about poor grades at Princeton from brother Craig. When asked at a public forum to explain why he left his major of engineering, Craig spilled the beans. “My mid-term grades were really the reason, a C, two Ds, and an F. That is how I ended up majoring in Sociology.”
Michelle quickly followed suit and ran to the non-judgmental sociology department to try to salvage her grade point average. And if that weren’t enough of a cop-out, within the field of sociology, Michelle concentrated in “Afro-American Studies.” If the goal was to learn about being Black, what was the point of her leaving a city with a million Black people for an elite campus with a few hundred? As a Black engineering student in Michelle’s class wrote, “I’m black, I’m aware of that, but I never wanted that to be the center of my education. If I’d wanted that experience, I would have gone to Howard University.”
Few have read Michelle Obama’s 98-page senior thesis, “Princeton-Educated Blacks and The Black Community.” Among those who did was the late British writer Christopher Hitchens. It was, said the caustic Hitchens, “not written in any known language.” He was correct. If butchering grammar and logic were a crime, Michelle would still be in custody. Nor was spelling Michelle’s strong suit. She misspelled at least forty common words, rendered in her language as “activites,” “occured,” “professsors,” “respndents,” “stongly,” “desparation,” and “intelectual” to name a few.
I learned from studying Michelle’s thesis something much more profound – her thesis is in fact a cry for help. Michelle used the thesis to resolve an identity crisis that the Afro-American studies program had triggered in her. “My four years of exposure to a predominately White, Ivy League University has instilled within me certain conservative values,” wrote Michelle. “As I enter my final year at Princeton, I find myself striving for many of the same goals as my White classmates - acceptance to a prestigious graduate or professional school or a high paying position in a successful corporation.” Michelle then asked, “Is it possible that other Black alumni share these feelings?” Michelle wondered if they embraced “White” ambitions like her and might validate her.
Clearly Michelle did not belong in the Afro-American studies program. She apparently joined only to get good grades. So here was Michelle, a well off kid from a political Chicago family in a department of radical professors who taught her she was Black and only Black, and no one in American society would ever think of anything otherwise. To that point, the only racism she had experienced was from hostile Black kids who thought her not black enough. Having mixed freely with Whites at home and in her Chicago high school, Michelle had been accepted by everyone, and had learned that if she worked hard she could achieve anything, but the message of Princeton’s Afro-American studies program was to the contrary and clear: you are, and always will only be, viewed in life as a racial stereotype.
That was a blow to Michelle - how to move forward from that realization? In Michelle’s thesis, her survey of Black Princeton alumni brought the relief she needed. Michelle’s responses were that the “feelings of obligation” alums felt towards their less fortunate brethren, including “the Black community” and “the Black lower class” had significantly “decreased” once they had left Princeton. Michelle’s thesis affirmed for her that seeking refuge in blackness was a dead end. For Michelle, “blackness” had only been a tool to advance her interests in a White liberal world, not an end in itself.
By the last months of her senior year, Michelle shifted back into her bourgeois Chicago mode and was preparing for future opportunities, like Harvard University. Applicants to Harvard Law typically have LSAT scores in the 98 to 99 percent range and GPAs above 3.80. In view of her previous test scores, it is unlikely that Michelle came close in either category. If she had been from a “disadvantaged” background, Harvard’s elastic standards might have made sense, but there was nothing disadvantaged about Michelle. She came from a solid two-parent family, attended an outstanding public high school, graduated from Princeton, and spoke “like a White girl.” Her brother’s acceptance made her a genuine legacy, and she even had an uncle who received a Harvard degree, making her kind of a double legacy student.
Michelle’s skin color opened doors that would have been firmly closed to an actual White girl with comparable credentials, even a White girl from a disadvantaged background. Once again Michelle benefited from affirmative action; her skin color was an asset, not a liability at all. After Harvard, she would aggressively thrust herself into the very center of an elite, well-integrated society. Although she likely did not realize it during her time at Princeton, Michelle had unconsciously acquired a race-based bag of tricks from which she could draw in her quest for political power one day. At various podiums on the Obama campaign trail and beyond, Michelle would play the role of her Princeton professors, telling the American public that yes, America is a racist country in which Blacks will always be thwarted.
Many are wondering why Michelle Obama has maintained such a high political profile since leaving the White House 6 years ago. She wrote two recent autobiographies, founded a voter registration organization called “When We All Vote”, and was the keynote speaker at the Democrat Convention in 2020 – exactly mimicking Barack’s activities before he ran for President. In addition, you might remember that it was Michelle Obama who called for Donald Trump to be wiped off of Twitter and other social media the day before he was canceled.
Michelle Obama is actually a better politician than her husband Barack. She’s a better speaker and comes across more authentic, even though her race-based background stories are just as fictitious as Barack’s. Meanwhile the Democrat party has set Michelle up perfectly to become their nominee, with their first primary in South Carolina, where half the Democrat primary electorate is Black and a state where Michelle’s grandparents are from. And, most obviously, the Democrat national convention will be in Chicago. Get ready for America’s first “homegirl” political convention in 2024!

He returned to Hawaii years later to join the Honolulu-based “choom gang” and experiment with drugs before “enrolling” at Occidental College, followed by Columbia, followed by Harvard Law School. After publishing his first memoir at age 33, Obama worked in the Illinois state government under the tutelage of left-wing terrorist Bill Ayers before getting elected to the U.S. Senate in 2004 and immediately running for president to validate his preternatural self-regard. Mission accomplished.
Hobbies: Hanging out with celebs, drinking wine with “interesting Italians,” and complainingabout his wife’s literary success. Being wrong about politics might even be considered one of Obama’s hobbies. In 2016, for example, he backed Hillary Clinton over his own vice president. We all know how that turned out. In 2020, Obama was “enamored” with failed candidate Beto O’Rourke and feared Joe Biden would “dishonor himself” by running. He didn’t even donate to Biden’s campaign.
Hates freedom? Without question.
Why/how? Where to begin? As president Obama relished every opportunity to apologize for American exceptionalism, which he dismissively likened to “British exceptionalism” or “Greek exceptionalism.” His signature move when greeting foreign leaders was the submissive bow. He brazenly lied about whether Americans would be able to keep their doctors following the passage of Obamacare. He repeatedly expressed frustration with the fact that he was merely president of the United States, as opposed to an “emperor” or “dictator” with total authority to decide how the American people should live their lives. Apart from coddling terrorists, his signature foreign policy achievements include presiding over the death of an American ambassador in Benghazi and cozying up to the anti-American regimes in Iran and Cuba.
Claim(s) to shame: Generally speaking, Obama is a pathological narcissist who journalists lustily admired as president because he reminded them so much of themselves and satisfied their overwhelming desire to publicly demonstrate opposition to racism and other bad things. He resented the American people for constantly letting him down, and behaved as though the office of the presidency was beneath him. In March 2014, for example, Obama refused to let Russia’s impending annexation of Crimea spoil his vacation plans. “I needed this,” he told former NBA star Alonzo Mourning and other guests at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo. “I needed the golf. I needed to laugh.”
Fun fact(s): Obama is the first former president since Dwight Eisenhower, commander of the D-Day invasion, to compose a multi-volume memoir about his time in office. During the 2012 election, the Choom Gangsta voted for himself at precisely 4:20 p.m.
What’s next? Becoming the first ex-president billionaire, finishing his third memoir, and eventually publishing a 900-page novel that reviewers will unanimously praise as “Holden Caulfield meets Ta-Nehisi Coates … an intellectual call to arms,” because they’ll be too gutless to admit it’s rather tedious and overwrought.

Question: What’s the closest thing to Hell freezing over? Answer: a black pastor praising western civilization for “bringing Africa out of the darkness” in front of a Catholic congregation in Berkeley, California. Even more amazing, this was no ordinary congregation. It was the Newman Center; the church that is the official designated home of the U.C. Berkeley Catholic community, and one where a former Chancellor of the entire 10 campus U.C. system was in the audience along with a substantial contingent of faculty, administrators and alumni. In short, a representative sampling of the people who made and make ‘Berkeley’ synonymous with the far left, and ones who are very much used to living – whether at church or on campus -- in a very comfortable echo chamber.
So, when Father Joseph Ekpo, visiting from Nigeria, uttered those sentiments as an introduction to his after-gospel homily, the collective eyebrows raised among that vanguard elite were likely strong enough to levitate the roof several feet.

For according to the catechism of the new left, it’s a red flag to use such a triggering word like ‘darkness’ to describe Africa, and a downright mortal sin for a BIPOC - black indigenous person of color - to say anything positive about western civ and the dreaded white patriarchal male; especially the missionaries, who they charge with the destruction of indigenous cultures and with them, the ‘noble savage’ they idolize. For nominally Christian, such leftists may be even more so acolytes of the church of Jean Jacques Rousseau and his proto and neo-Marxist college of saints. Accordingly, in the wake of the George Floyd riots they hoisted a 30 foot long “Black Lives Matter” banner across the church entrance and kept it there for well over a year; long after the revolutionary communist aims and virulently anti-Catholic, anti-American and anti-family proclivities of this group- to say nothing of their scandalous self-enrichment schemes - were well known.
However, on this day the banner was gone, the welcome mat was out and so Father Joe proceeded to make the unabashed case that the introduction of Christianity by the western missionaries was a singular force for enlightenment and good on his continent. It brought about, not only a religious awakening to the one true faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior, but a societal revolution that unleashed the power and potential of all people who were seen to be made in the image and likeness of God. Education and rights for women and all classes was extended and an ethos of service, rather than entitlement among the country’s elite was initiated and is progressing with noticeably positive results in a country that is plagued with economic and social problems we in the West can scarcely imagine.
So, strike one was made against a prevailing nostrum of the left. Father Joe torpedoed the foundation of Critical Race Theory by clearly spelling out that Christianity was a liberating, rather than enslaving force in Africa, as it was for the founding of America. And mind you, this testimony had the added authenticity of coming ‘from the hood’; that is, from an actual third world black man, rather than some pampered academic first world princess or princeling play acting a part of the imaginary oppressed.
Continuing, he proceeded to level strike two by giving a resounding cheer for capitalism and the goodness of America. With disarming earnestness, he urged us to get down on our knees every day and thank God for the great blessing of being born in this decent, bountiful country; a country made affluent by its foundational Christian heritage. “When you enter a Walgreens or a CVS and see that sea of medicines, I want you to thank the Lord that you are able to get these blessings, where those in my country routinely die and are disabled for want of such things.” The Christian virtue of gratitude was an overriding message. Yes, he fervently assured us, more than once, that God had truly blessed America. In hearing this I couldn’t help but think about the left’s favorite president – Barack Obama - and what his Pastor Reverend Wright thought God’s judgment on America was. The contrast was jarring. The cognitive dissonance was building.
Then, it was on to strike three, which was surely the most painful and incriminating part of his homily, especially for a left that has steadfastly looked to bury the revelation of such monstrous undertakings. He told us about Boko Haram. He began with the innocuous observation that for most of our congregation, our biggest concern was getting out of mass quickly so we could go home to eat brunch, go jogging or watch the game. He quickly added however, that for Catholics in his country, their biggest concern when they went to mass is whether they will ever see their homes again at all.
From here he told us, in riveting, eye watering detail the murderous atrocities that the above-mentioned Islamic terror group regularly visits on Nigeria’s Christians. He was careful to say that not all Muslins in his land were terrorists, but he spared no details in chronicling the horrific savagery of those who are; specifically, how they focus on blowing up churches. I recall his words as I remember them. You can go to this link for video of the actual text:
“Most recently, they have elevated their cruelty in this regard. They have started to single out the hungry children in the villages and ask them: ‘Would you like some food?’ Of course, the children say yes, and they give them a little bit. Then they fasten the suicide belts around them, place a new garment over them and tell them to go into the church. ‘We will give you some more food when you come out’ they promise. Once inside and with the congregation at its peak, they detonate the bombs, blowing everyone up as the church collapses.”
Tears streaming down his face, he bore on with the weight of the world on his shoulders, but the righteousness of the murdered dead in his heart and on his lips. Railing to heaven he screamed: “What kind of God implores you to murder innocent children? What kind of God rewards such vicious inhumanity?”
Finally, he directed his fury right over the home target and brought up that most inconvenient of truths. He forcefully indicted the cowardice and corruption of a politically correct western media that, to preserve its ‘fantasy of a faultless other’, has refused to properly inform the world and condemn the Islamic genocide being carried out against African Christians. “Why is no one in the western media speaking out about this? Why the double standard?” he bellowed. Clearly, this was a thinly veiled indictment against all of those sitting in the pews who have made Berkeley the epicenter for PC: that skewed, self-hating ideology.
The congregation was dumbstruck, stunned. And yet, there was more than a smattering of applause as the good Father concluded his searing message. Was a nerve struck? Were hearts truly changed among those who are not committed leftists, for surely there were more than a few of such present? Who knows. Searching for clues, I looked over at the Chancellor from time to time and detected a certain discomfort as he scratched himself, rolled his head, averted his eyes and looked up to the ceiling. Was he truly pierced thru the heart by this noble priest’s blistering words and on his way to atonement? Or was he, more ominously, invoking a darker power and asking: “Will no one rid me of this troublesome priest?”
We do not know the inner workings of his soul. But then again, there’s no need to count on a Pauline conversion among such commissars of the regime to save us. For we who have eyes and noses can see and smell the momentum of the battle starting to turn ever more clearly, from the ground up. With foot soldiers and fighting generals -- people such as Bishop Robert Barron, Jordan Peterson, Tucker Carlson and local eminences such as Father Ekpo -- we see a new wave of heroes emerging world-wide who have the mind, heart, skills and spirit to move mountains, take the fight to the enemy and save what is best and brightest in our patrimony. May we have the courage of our convictions to join them.

Nearly 50 Shot Friday into Sunday Night in Mayor Brandon Johnson’s Chicago
Nearly 50 people were shot, five of them fatally, Friday into Sunday night in Mayor Brandon Johnson’s (D) Chicago.
ABC 7 / Chicago Sun-Timesnoted that four others were fatally shot Friday into Sunday night, and those shooting victims were among the at least 47 people who were shot.
The first fatal shooting of the weekend occurred around 10:20 p.m. Friday. Two men, one of whom was 61 years old, pulled guns on each other “in the 2600-block of West Luther Street.” The 61-year-old was shot in the head and pronounced dead at a hospital.
A 28-year-old man was shot in the face and killed in Auburn Gresham Saturday night around 8:00 p.m.
A 20-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man were walking “in the 1300-block of West Devon Avenue” around 1:45 p.m. Sunday when a drive-by shooter opened fire on them, shooting the man ten times. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Breitbart News reported that nine people were shot just before 1:00 a.m. Sunday morning in Chicago’s Lawndale neighborhood when multiple people exited a Jeep and opened fire on a group of women. One woman was killed, and eight others were injured.
At 5:00 p.m. Sunday, another drive-by shooting occurred on the “6400 block of South Albany Avenue.” There was an exchange of words between someone in the car and a 66-year-old man before shots rang out. The 66-year-old was shot in the chest and was taken to hospital, where he died.
The Sun-Timespointed out that 342 people were killed in Chicago from January 1, 2023, through July 30, 2023.

Black Comedians Told Uncomfortable Truths That Came to Naught
In 1996 comedian Chris Rock performed an HBO special called, “Bring the Pain” (full video here). His most memorable routine began with: “Who’s more racist? Black people or white people? Black people. Because everything white people hate about black people, black people REALLY don’t like about black people.” Rock used the hard, “R”, calling it a Civil War between black people and n****** , declaring that, “n****** got to go!”
The audience in Washington DC was mostly if not entirely black, and the laughter was loud. It was real. And it signaled agreement.
Highlights: “I love black people but I hate n******!” He ripped into them for their low expectations, shunning education, “loving to not know” and wanting, "credit for things they’re supposed to do like taking care of their kids…and never going to jail.”
Criticizing the injustice of welfare: the black father with 2 jobs and the “n***** who can’t find one?” The black mother working hard for 2 kids vs the welfare mother of 9…” Playing devil’s advocate he mimics, “Why do you have to say that? It’s the media…” But Rock immediately shuts that lame argument down. “When I go to the cash station at night, I ain’t looking over my shoulder for the media. I’m looking for n******! Ted Koppel ain’t never took sh*t from me. But n****** have: Rock was “tired, tired, tired of this…” The audience agreed.
Entertainment Weekly called it, “groundbreaking” and “classic”. Varietycompared Rock to revered comedians Richard Pryor and Lenny Bruce and called it "one of the truly remarkable hours of comedy ever to air on television." Why? Because both blacks and whites saw an authentic black voice articulating uncomfortable truths through comedy about black anti-social and self-defeating behavior. And he said it needed to stop. Rock would win 2 Emmys for this special the following year.
Just 8 years later, on May 17, 2004, 3000 of the nation’s black elite were also in Washington DC, but this time in Constitution Hall to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Brown v Board of Education of Topeka. This landmark decision effectively ended racial segregation in schools and is largely responsible for the Civil rights movement that followed. This was a night to celebrate and remember all those who opened doors.
Or was it? Because when featured speaker Bill Cosby took to the podium, he laid into the same black ghetto culture that Rock did 8 years earlier and sucked all the air out of the room. He called out the 50% dropout rate, high prison rates, the 70% of black mothers unwed at the time. Fathers running away from responsibility. He blasted black English/grammar:
“Everybody knows it’s important to speak English except these knuckleheads. You can’t land a plane with, ‘Why you ain’t…’ You can’t be a doctor with that kind of crap coming out of your mouth. There is no Bible that has that kind of language… these people are fighting hard to be ignorant.”
He tore into parents and black churches for allowing all this to go on for 50 years unabated. While echoing earlier praise for those in the movement who marched, who got punched in the face, had rocks thrown at them so that black kids could get an education, he then wondered what it was all for. “What the hell good is Brown v BOE if nobody wants it?”
Like Rock, Cosby received praise for speaking the truth and criticism for airing their dirty laundry in public. But just three weeks later he appeared at Jesse Jackson’s Rainbow/PUSH and said,
“Let me tell you something. Your dirty laundry gets out of school at two-thirty everyday. It’s cursing and calling each other nigger as they walk up and down the street. They think they’re hip. They can’t read. They can’t write. They’re laughing and giggling and they’re going nowhere.”
Cosby would continue this blunt truth-telling at college campuses and churches.
Democrat Juan Williams of Fox News was so impressed that he took note of Cosby’s speaking tour and wrote a book about it in 2006 called, Enough: The Phony Leaders, Dead-End Movements, and Culture of Failure That Are Undermining Black America—and What We Can Do About It. Williams’s book is a treatise on the state of Black America in 2004 that echoes Rock’s comedy routine and Cosby’s blistering speech and reads mostly like a conservative take on solutions.
“Phony leaders” who, in Cosby’s words, don’t want to fix the problems facing poor blacks but rather get rich fundraising off their backs. Too many “race hustlers” and “poverty pimps” focused on “dead-end movements” like Reparations rather than leading and encouraging the “self-determination” ethos of Booker T. Washington.
A school choice advocate, Williams routinely chastised the widely accepted culture of black kids bullying the few black kids who take education seriously and speak English correctly as, “acting white”.
He offered the same simple solutions known forever and repeated from Sowell to Obama: finish high school, don’t have a child until after 21, get married, learn to speak English correctly, value and prioritize education.
Williams would also echo Cosby’s harsh criticism of rap/hip hop, calling it a modern day “minstrel show”, and lambasting the so-called black leaders would do nothing about it. These demeaning images of black people spilled out over BET for the world to see. This? After all the struggles and victories gained by real civil rights warriors like, Oseola McCarty, Denmark Vesey, Nat Turner, Harriet Tubman, Booker T. Washington, Frederick Douglas, MLK and countless others? No. It must stop.
The sexual assault allegations against Cosby were always there, under the surface, but he remained un-charged as long as he was still useful to the black community. But to a newer crop of race hustlers (Ta-Nehisi Coates, Michael Eric Dyson) he wasn’t. And so began their assault on Cosby’s remarks, his character, his age and they dismissed him as just another cranky old man. He was cancelled and eventually charged and convicted of drugging women and having unwanted sex with them. He went on to serve time, but his conviction was later overturned.
In 1996 Chris Rock declared the self-destructive and anti social behavior of black ghetto culture “has got to go.” In 2004 Bill Cosby issued a clarion call to 3000 blacks who have “misled, mismanaged and mishandled” blacks for the past 50 years. In 2006 Juan Williams declared: “Enough!” in his book. And in 2008 America elected an articulate black president to two terms who repeated many of these truths.
The causes of perpetual black failure and dysfunction are well documented and the solutions are crystal clear. Yet black audiences still choose the “minstrel show" that makes fun of them. Those 3000 elite black leaders still choose fundraising off that minstrel show rather than fixing it. Juan Williams chose to make millions as the leftist shill on The Five, defending Democrat policies that hurt blacks and attacking Republican policies, many of which he defended in his book.
And Obama? He chooses not to live anywhere near blacks whose “lives (don’t) matter.” It’s 2023 and black America’s dominant elites, especially in the media, have chosen to do nothing.

To shatter our sense of security and restrict our freedom of movement, Soros prosecutors turn major cities over to violent felons. Patriots rot in jail for meandering around the Capitol for a couple of hours two years ago while young people are encouraged by their teachers to celebrate Antifa and BLM thugs who’ve burned houses down. Blacks who love liberty are smeared as “white supremacists” while Muslims who love jihad are depicted as virtuous victims.
Then there’s what happened during the pandemic. Churchgoing was banned, violent street protests permitted. Small businesses were forced to close and went bankrupt; giant chain stores stayed open and reaped record profits. Americans, but not illegal immigrants, were ordered to mask and vaccinate. Gavin Newsom and Nancy Pelosi, with imperial condescension, violated their own lockdowns.
In this new world order, “our democracy” means the tyranny of the unelected (including the FBI, CIA, DHS, and DOJ), propped up by a Pravda-like corporate media. Their message? If we want to be known as supporters of equality, models of compassion, and friends of the planet, we’ll knuckle under, obey them, and parrot their progressive creed – as spelled out in that chilling Independence Hall speech in which Joe Biden, against a Bismarckian blood-red backdrop, demonized MAGA voters as enemies of freedom.
Of course this dystopia in the making didn’t begin with Biden. It’s a carry-over from the Obama years, interrupted by that Belle Époque, the Trump interregnum. “To understand the crisis of the Biden administration,” observes Daniel Greenfield, “we have to go back to its origins in the Obama administration.” This statement appears in Greenfield’s introduction to an engaging and definitive new collection of essays, Barack Obama’s True Legacy, which, under the editorship of Jamie Glazov, does precisely that: it ponders Obama and his appalling presidential tenure from a number of angles, and in doing so gives us what seems to me the most comprehensive and penetrating account yet of who Obama really is, what he did to America, and why.
Political scientist John Drew recalls the Obama whom he met in 1980 when they were both students dreaming of Communist revolution. At first glance, Obama struck Drew as a child of “wealth and privilege”: he “carried himself with the dignity and poise of a model,” he “talked like a white guy,” he came off “like a foreign prince visiting the United States.” Drew also thought Obama was gay – an impression later confirmed, sort of, by a letter in which Obama wrote: “I make love to men daily, but in the imagination.” Politically, soon enough, both Drew and Obama shifted to “a more practical view,” deciding that politics, not revolution, was “the preferred route to socialism”; Drew eventually left the left entirely, but, as we know, alas, Obama did not.
New Zealand author and filmmaker Trevor Loudon also reaches some distance into the past, tracing Obamacare to the 1930s, when Quentin Young, a young Communist doctor in Chicago, first began thinking about socialized medicine. In the 1990s he advised Hillary Clinton on health care; later still (he lived until 1992), he collaborated with Bernie Sanders and Ted Kennedy. As it happens, Young shared his medical practice for two decades with Obama’s personal physician, David Scheiner, and was present at the meeting, hosted by former terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, at which it was announced that Obama, also present, would be running for Congress. Along the way he played a huge role in shaping Obama’s views on health-care coverage.
Glazov’s book includes several contributions on Islam and the Middle East. Highlighting Obama’s hideous 2012 statement at the UN criticizing “those who slander the prophet of Islam,” counterintelligence expert Stephen C. Coughlin recounts the Obama Administration’s purging of counterterrorism pros (largely in response to pressure from terrorist-linked CAIR) and reports that Muslims at DHS, founded to combat Islamic terrorism, shifted its focus 180º to target “Islamophobes” – that is, American patriots who dare to worry about terrorism. In other essays, former Knesset member Dov Lipman corrects “historical inaccuracies” about Israel in Obama’s memoir A Promised Land, and Greenfield and Clare M. Lopez supply cogent takes on Obama’s treachery toward Israel and championing of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Then there’s Raymond Ibrahim on Obama’s abominable treatment of Middle East Christians: his refusal to use U.S. leverage on their behalf, his resistance to Capitol Hill pressure to address religious freedom, his prioritizing of Muslim over Christian refugees, and his denial that Muslim-on-Christian violence in Nigeria had a religious basis. (Ibrahim quotes Newt Gingrich: “This is an administration that never seems to find a good enough excuse to help Christians, but always finds an excuse to apologize for terrorists.”) And in three trenchant pieces, Robert Spencer studies Obama’s refusal to label the Fort Hood massacre as a terrorist act (thus denying certain benefits to victims and their families), his insistence that the Islamic State had nothing to do with Islam, and his attitude, at the time of the Iran deal, that “the side that needed to show a good faith commitment to peace was not Iran, but the United States.”
There are two strong items on immigration: Loudon considers Obama’s desire to bestow citizenship on millions of illegals, and Matthew Vadum ponders Obama’s view “that immigration…was a right.” And J.R. Nyquist tackles Obama and Russia, pointing out in his opening sentences that Obama’s parents met in a Russian language class. Why, he wonders, were they there? We know they hated capitalism; did they love the USSR? Certainly Obama’s Russia policy, posits Nyquist, was “exactly what one might expect from a president who was born of pro-Soviet parents and mentored by a likely KGB agent (i.e., Frank Marshall Davis).” Nyquist also serves up a couple of fascinating anecdotes that, if true, would fill in a big piece of the Obama puzzle: in 1983, a Communist speaker at UC Irvine reportedly said that his fellow Reds were “infiltrating the left wing of the Democratic Party”; in the 1990s, American physicist Tom Fife claims to have encountered Obama at a social event in Moscow where the later was described as being groomed by the Soviets to be America’s first black president.
The closing pages of Barack Obama’s True Legacy take us to the end of Obama’s presidency and beyond. Greenfield reflects on the truly tragic way in which Obama’s “naked racial rhetoric…transformed America” from an essentially post-racial country into the present “war-torn nation deeply divided by race.” In three incisive essays, Joseph Klein indicts Obama for his persecution of General Michael Flynn (who, by the way, contributes a solid foreword to this book); argues that Obama should have been impeached for what Andrew McCarthy has rightly called his singular pattern of “presidential lawlessness” (which Klein catalogs at illuminating length); and details Obama’s nefarious and unprecedented attempt, after his own presidency was over, “to sabotage the legitimacy of his duly elected successor.”
When Donald Trump took the oath of office, most of us thought the Obama era was over. We were wrong. Our 44th president was still operating behind the scenes – scheming with his old cronies to blunt Trump’s effectiveness, to pack the media with lies about him, to keep the violent far-left wing of the Democratic Party in a constant state of anti-Trump outrage, to engineer his impeachment, and much more; and since Trump’s departure from the White House, Obama has, at the very least, been one of those who’ve been pulling the strings of the current puppet-in-chief. But of course all this malicious mischief was nothing new for the man who once said that “the sweetest sound I know is the Muslim call to prayer”: as Spencer puts it in his savvy afterword, Obama was, from the beginning of his term until – well – this present moment, “actively working against the interests of the United States.” That he managed to do so much damage to this country and its people is breathtaking to behold – as is the fact that there remains a large cohort of low-information Americans who actually revere this traitor as a paragon of virtue and wisdom.

“Before Obama,” writes Greenfield, “71 percent of Americans had thought that relations between black and white people were generally good.” A year after the Ferguson riots in 2014, “more than half the country thought relations were bad.” It was the Obama administration that had “started the fires and then led the fire brigade, but instead of water, its hoses were filled with oil.” Upon Obama’s departure from office, Donald Trump inherited a country that wasn’t healed but primed for an even more heated racial conflagration.
On the cusp of the 2008 presidential election, then-candidate Barack Obama galvanized an ecstatic crowd at Missouri University by claiming that he and his supporters were “five days from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” Not making America great again, but fundamentally transforming her. This unsettling vow, from the man who would later declare that American exceptionalism was no more valid than British or Greek exceptionalism, promised not restoration, but revolution. It made clear that his incoming administration intended to toss the greatest country in the world onto the trash heap of history to make way for a Progressive utopia centered on social justice and on the dismantling of American power.

chronic unemployment and inflation, a border crisis, grave threats to our constitutional liberties, increased violence and lawlessness from the leftist groups Antifa and Black Lives Matter, a weakening dollar, the emboldening of our enemies worldwide, and even worse on the horizon… This is the world Barack Obama has made. This is his legacy.

No account of Barack Obama’s legacy would be complete without addressing, as Freedom Center Shillman Fellow Daniel Greenfield puts it, his “enabling of racial strife and domestic terror.” Though Obama surfed into the White House on a wave of hope that the nation’s first black president would bring long-awaited racial healing and unity, Greenfield calls the intentional shattering of race relations in America under his watch “Obama’s true enduring legacy.”
“Before Obama,” writes Greenfield, “71 percent of Americans had thought that relations between black and white people were generally good.” A year after the Ferguson riots in 2014, “more than half the country thought relations were bad.” It was the Obama administration that had “started the fires and then led the fire brigade, but instead of water, its hoses were filled with oil.” Upon Obama’s departure from office, Donald Trump inherited a country that wasn’t healed but primed for an even more heated racial conflagration.
“But Obama wasn’t done once he finally left the White House,” writes Joseph Klein in his essay about the Radical-in-Chief’s “Post-Presidential War on America.” Klein details how the ex-President went on to spread disinformation in an attempt to delegitimize his successor Trump, to foment generational war by nurturing “the next generation of community-organizing Obama mini-mes,” to discredit Fox News – the only mainstream cable outlet that leaned right – and to turn Netflix into his own private propaganda mill, all while hypocritically amassing a personal fortune that contradicted his socialist assertion, “At a certain point, you’ve made enough money.”
Obama’s corrosive impact wasn’t limited to our shores. On an international level, for example, Daniel Greenfield addresses, in “Obama’s Betrayal of Israel,” the breakdown in relations between the United States and our close ally in the Middle East. That alliance fractured thanks to a “total divergence of worldviews” – “moral, cultural, and strategic” – between Obama and Biden on the one hand, and Benjamin Netanyahu on the other. “Previous administrations had viewed Islamic terrorists and the Iranian regime as threats. The Obama administration, however, saw them as victims of American foreign policy… Obama believed that Israel, like America, and other allies in the region, was part of the problem.”
And our current administration, of course, shares and perpetuates that anti-Israel perspective. The result is that the entire volatile Middle East is once again a tinderbox, even as that administration exacerbates tensions in other parts of the world too, such as Ukraine, where we risk tumbling headlong into a world war that could have been averted had Donald Trump been elected in 2020.
But the chaos is all part of the plan. As Robert Spencer reminds us in his epilogue to Barack Obama’s True Legacy, Obama was photographed in 2008 clutching a copy of Fareed Zakaria’s book The Post-American World, a finger keeping his place in the pages. Spencer writes,
Zakaria’s book predicting America’s inevitable decline turned out to be a veritable blueprint for Obama’s presidency. Throughout his eight years in office, as this present book abundantly illustrates, Obama seemed determined to make Zakaria’s “post-American world” a self-fulfilling prophecy. Obama went to work from his first day in office to make Zakaria’s wishful thinking about America’s decline become a reality.
Now, in his de facto third term, the shadowy radical continues to exert his subversive influence on the Constitution, the citizens, and the country he is committed to destroying. Barack Obama’s True Legacy could not be a timelier and more important read. As Spencer concludes,
This book stands as a warning and as a primer on just how devastating Obamaism was for the United States and will be again unless vigilant, courageous, and patriotic American citizens stand, determined to employ all lawful means to defend freedom.

Obama torpedoed U.S. relations with Russia -- to perpetuate lies about Trump, Durham report found
Oh, not about the election of Donald Trump, of course, if his public statements were any indication.
He was supposedly angry, so angry, at Russia and its supposed interference in our 2016 election that he got out his pen and phone and expelled 35 Russian diplomats.
WASHINGTON — President Obama struck back at Russia on Thursday for its efforts to influence the 2016 election, ejecting 35 suspected Russian intelligence operatives from the United States and imposing sanctions on Russia’s two leading intelligence services.
The administration also penalized four top officers of one of those services, the powerful military intelligence unit known as the G.R.U.
Intelligence agencies have concluded that the G.R.U. ordered the attacks on the Democratic National Committee and other political organizations, with the approval of the Kremlin, and ultimately enabled the publication of the emails it harvested to benefit Donald J. Trump’s campaign.
The Hill reported that it was quite an array of sanctions at the time:
The measures include a slate of economic sanctions, diplomatic censure, and public “naming and shaming.” The president also hinted at possible covert cyber measures but did not provide details.
The president also announced that the State Department will expel 35 Russian intelligence operatives and shutter two Russian compounds, in Maryland and New York, used by Russia for intelligence purposes.
Taken together, the sweeping actions announced by the White House, the Treasury, the State Department and intelligence agencies on Thursday amount to the strongest American response yet to a state-sponsored cyberattack. They also appeared intended to box in President-elect Trump, who will now have to decide whether to lift the sanctions on Russian intelligence agencies when he takes office next month.
Obama even amended his own executive order to extend his powers to sanction, with travel bans and asset freezes on some Russian officials.
Just one problem: The Russians didn't do what the embittered Democrats claimed they were doing -- to Get Trump.
Nothing. They didn't hack the DNC and they didn't collude with Donald Trump to get him elected to the presidency. The charges, the expropriations, the sanctions -- were all for innocent people. Even the Russian state was innocent.
That was what Sundance at The Conservative Treehouse found buried at the bottom of the Durham report.
♦ First, John Durham clearly shows in his 306-page report with a 48-page classified appendix, that Russia did nothing to interfere in the 2016 election. The entire Russian Interference operation was a Clinton fabrication, later enhanced by a Federal Bureau of Investigation who used the fabrication as a cover-up justification to hide their surveillance of the Trump campaign.
♦ Second, accepting the empirical, factual, and inherently true reality of the first point – consider that President Barack Obama expelled 35 Russian diplomats to retain the Clinton fabrication and FBI lies. Think about this one carefully, the Obama administration expelled Russian diplomats in order to retain a domestic political ruse! President Obama did this *after* CIA Director John Brennan briefed him about the Clinton fabrication.
There were no Russian diplomats involved; there was no Russian election interference; there was no Russian hacking of the DNC; it was all a fraud created by the intelligence community (IC), FBI and Main Justice to support Hillary Clinton’s lies and then cover their own targeting tracks.
♦ Third, Robert Mueller, Andrew Weissmann, with the full support of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, indicted 14 Russian entities under completely bogus pretenses. All of that effort was done to assist the Clinton narrative, cover for Obama and then use the special counsel to cover up the Trump targeting operation. The totally bogus construct explains why the fabricated indictments were sealed in the DOJ National Security Division in perpetuity, thereby keeping the fraudulent construct hidden from public review forever.
So Obama's wrath was nothing but a fiction to protect the partisan Democrat narrative that they had been promoting about Trump and the Russians, which originated from the embittered political camp of losing Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton.
How would you feel about that if you were a Russian, especially now, reading that it was all a political hoax with you the one chosen to be the whipping boy? You got sanctioned, you got kicked out, you got travel bans, you incurred costs, and some "name and shame" all based on lies.
Might you start thinking of the U.S. as kind of a sleazy, dishonest player on the world scene? Would you have problems trusting them? Might you step up your activities against it? It would seem natural.
The Russians, remember, had already calculated by their own devices that Hillary Clinton would win the 2016 election and the Kremlin was planning for that, so they were as surprised as anyone that the American voters thought otherwise when the election results came in in November 2016.
That they were blamed for the result and sanctioned for hacking and colluding they didn't do, and knew they didn't do, and knew that Obama knew they didn't do, surely must have made them angry.
Russian President Vladimir Putin initially adopted a wait-and-see attitude to see if Trump would set things back to rights, but by March of 2017, three months into his term, Trump had appointed Democrat ally Fiona Hill to be his Russia advisor, and although she was smart enough to generally pooh-pooh the Russia collusion claims in her statements, apparently nothing was done to restore the Russia relations after Obama's partisan fit of pique at Russia's expense.
Net result: By May, Putin expelled 755 American diplomats and staff and expropriated two American properties in retaliation. That was to get the numbers of embassy personnel even, as the U.S had a much bigger official diplomatic presence in Russia than the Russians had in the U.S. That certainly didn't serve U.S. interests to say the least, given that the U.S. must have had a much bigger spy operation going on against Russia than Russia did against the U.S., or, at the least official one which seems most likely.
In other words, how did it serve U.S. interests to falsely accuse and sanction Russia for something it didn't do?
Stuff like that makes countries mad, and fosters considerable distrust. Was that in the U.S. interest? Did that raise our standing and reputation in the world or did it contribute to emerging problems? The Russians were remarkably patient for a while as the accusations were leveled but the lies kept coming and then things got ugly.
It's horrible stuff when we consider the bigger picture, and the picture we see today. Right now, the U.S. and Russia are in a proxy war against one another over Ukraine, with several hideous sideshows involving cowardly and let-the-Americans-do-it allies, as well as huge amounts of money spent at a time of high inflation with little accountability. Our military readiness has been affected just on the supply front. There are odd fires at U.S. food factories over here even as we read reports of strikes at strategic assets inside Russia. The Nordstream II gas pipeline somehow got blown up and somehow nobody knows who did it.
And as this unwelcome, unpopular, and costly entanglement with Russia goes on, China is on the rise, with increasingly aggressive actions amid reports out there that they could beat us in a shooting war. Another inconvenient development: Russia has allied with China.
The worst of this is that it need never have happened. Foreign policy should always be off limits to partisan disputes, but apparently not by Obama. Relations with Russia could have been good and ties friendly. Russia could have advanced economically and moved closer to the West had these sleazy Obama fictions never happened.
Russia has always been torn between leaning east or leaning west, and for most of the 21st century has leaned westward. Keeping Russia friendly to the U.S. would have been a boon for keeping China in check and Russia peaceable. Instead, the Russians were a convenient target for abuse by Democrats and were thrown to the wolves, all to promote the lie that Democrats were "victims" of Russian machinations instead of simply rejected by U.S. voters for their utterly repellent agenda.
That's been an expensive lie for us in the aftermath because any smart superpower should go out of its way to keep as many friends as it can, especially among the those with nuclear weapons. Making Russia an enemy for nothing more than partisan political purposes is not the act of someone who represents America. It's the act of a community organizer, a partisan political hack, a creep who shouldn't be anywhere near the levers of power, owing to an inability to distinguish the national interest from the partisan interest.
That's the old Obama we know however, and now he's disgraced us on the world stage as a dishonest sleazeball country, not a nation founded on fairness and democracy. His act and the acts of the Deep State were not only detrimental to democracy here, they were very detrimental to foreign policy abroad. False charges open the door to harsher spying, retaliation, and belligerent actions. It was yellow journalism and other schemings on the American side that got us into the Spanish-American war of 1898 when Spain was baselessly blamed for blowing up an American ship in the Caribbean. Any questions as to why Brittney Griner got such a harsh sentence for such a piddly crime in Russia? Or why a young Wall Street Journal reporter sits in some Russian prison on phony espionage charges? What on earth do the Russians think? And how can anyone fail to understand them at least for whatever they are doing with this blotch on our nation's record? Who started this garbage? How do the decent among us make it right?

James Comer Believes Barack Obama Knew of Biden Family’s Foreign Deals
House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) suggested Friday that former President Barack Obama knew of the Biden family’s foreign deals with adversaries of the United States.
Speaking with Lou Dobbs on the Great America Show, Comer said Obama must have known about the Biden family business.
“I believe, Lou, that it’s because he knew what Joe Biden was doing the last year of his vice presidency,” Comer said in reference to payments worth millions the family’s business collected.
Comer revealed Wednesday that over the course of several years the family business received over $10 million from schemes in Romania and China in return for what appears to be influence peddling.
“He knew his son [Hunter Biden] was no good, and he knew this was nothing but a political liability not just for our country, not just for the democrat party, but for Obama’s legacy,” Comer added. “Because a lot of this happened during the Obama administration.”

Comer also believes Obama’s knowledge of the family’s business informed his opposition to Joe Biden’s 2020 candidacy.
“So, I think that’s why Obama didn’t want Joe Biden to run for president. I think they knew about this,” Comer said about the business. “And remember, a lot of these coverups would have happened during the Obama administration with Obama appointees in these deep state bureaucracies.”
Comer said an establishment media journalist should ask Obama if Comer’s hunch is true: “This would be a great question for Obama: Were you aware of what was going on with Joe Biden with respect to foreign policy and some of these ragtag countries around the world?”
Friday on FNC’s “Hannity,” Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) blasted the FBI and the Department of Justice for how it has handled the investigation into possible wrongdoing of the Biden family while attempting to indict former President Donald Trump for misdemeanors.
The South Carolina lawmaker said her track record showed she wasn’t in the tank for Trump and asserted the amount of evidence against first son Hunter Biden was “ridiculous.”
“I will tell you, this is, as you say, Sean — everything you said was a hundred percent true, and this is just the tip of the iceberg,” she said. “And here we have a DOJ and FBI, who are who are indicting Trump on misdemeanors and then will not investigate Biden for betraying his country. And I have to tell you, absolutely, no one can accuse me of being hyper-partisan or being in the tank for Donald Trump. But good lord, the amount of evidence, in this case, is ridiculous. They weren’t hiring Hunter Biden for his brains. They weren’t hiring certainly Hunter Biden for his brawn. They were hiring him to pay for access to the White House, and we see this pattern repeat itself over and over and over again.”
“The reports that we saw at the Treasury would appear to be racketeering,” Mace added. “That comes to mind money laundering, wire fraud. Why were they able to enrich themselves with tens of millions of dollars, including as you say, a grandchild, nieces and nephews, current wives, ex-wives, a brother, a son, you name it, and the list goes on? That family tree is very, very big, and they made a lot of money off of Joe Biden.”

Instead, the Biden family name has really stood for only two things: buffoonery and corruption. For fifty years, Joe Biden has managed to hold onto some slice of power in D.C. as a senator, vice president, and Oval Office stooge not because he is renowned for his erudition or virtue but rather because his doltish behavior and venal character make him ideal for others to control. Perhaps no other Washington relic has accomplished so little for the American people over such a prolonged government career or managed to harness those defects for lucrative advancement more successfully than China Joe.

American people deserve to know what China was up to with Joe Biden, especially when Beijing had already shelled out millions of dollars to Biden family members — including millions in set-asides for “the big guy.” What else is on that infamous Hunter Biden laptop? The conflicted Biden Justice Department cannot be trusted to engage in any meaningful oversight on this issue. We need a special counsel now.

New Zealand author and filmmaker Trevor Loudon also reaches some distance into the past, tracing Obamacare to the 1930s, when Quentin Young, a young Communist doctor in Chicago, first began thinking about socialized medicine. In the 1990s he advised Hillary Clinton on health care; later still (he lived until 1992), he collaborated with Bernie Sanders and Ted Kennedy. As it happens, Young shared his medical practice for two decades with Obama’s personal physician, David Scheiner, and was present at the meeting, hosted by former terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, at which it was announced that Obama, also present, would be running for Congress. Along the way, he played a huge role in shaping Obama’s views on health-care coverage.
