Joe Biden’s Donor List Includes More than 30 Executives Tied to Wall Street

JOHN BINDER

Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden has more than 30 business executives on his donor list that have connections to Wall Street.

Analysis of Biden’s more than 800 big donors, those who have bundled contributions for his presidential bid against President Trump, found that more than 30 of the executives listed have ties to Wall Street.

CNBC reports:

CNBC reviewed a new list of more than 800 Biden bundlers who raised at least $100,000 for the campaign, and found that several of them had links to financial firms. A few had been mentioned on the initial list of Biden fundraisers that was released in 2019 during the Democratic primary contests. [Emphasis added]

Beyond those from Wall Street, Biden’s campaign saw fundraising help from leaders in Silicon Valley, including LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman and venture capitalist Ron Conway. [Emphasis added]

Those executives with ties to Wall Street funding Biden’s campaign include:

Frank Baker, Brett Barth, Jim Chanos, Mark Chorazak, David Clunie, William Derrough, Roger Altman, Blair Effron, Jon Feigelson, Mark Gallogly, John Rogers, Jon Gray, Tony James, Jon Henes, Sonny Kalsi, Orin Kramer, Brad Krap, Brian Kreiter, Marc Lasry, Nate Loewenthall, Eric Mindich, Kara Moore, Charles Myers, Alan Patricof, Deven Parekh, Robert Rubin, Evan Roth, Faiza Saeed, Rajen Shah, Jay Snyder, Rob Stavis, and Jeff Zients.

As Breitbart News reported, Biden’s campaign is being backed by nearly “all the big banks” on Wall Street, according to CNN analysis, and Wall Street executives and employees have donated more than $74 million to elect the former vice president.

Trump, on the other hand, has accepted far less money from Wall Street — taking just a little over $18 million dollars from financial firms. This is a whopping $56 million less than what Biden has accepted from Wall Street.

Despite his Wall Street, big business, Big Tech, and billionaire donations, Biden has attempted to portray himself as a small-town fighter from Scranton, Pennsylvania.

In a post on Sunday, Biden wrote that “Donald Trump sees the world from Park Avenue,” whereas he sees the world “from where I came from: Scranton, Pennsylvania.” In fact, Biden has raised over $1 million from wealthy Park Avenue donors, more than eight times the less than $130,000 that Trump has taken from Park Avenue residents.

Economic Policy: An Introduction

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXWlfiulhe4

The average income in our country is $5,000 less than the basic cost of living. I'm going to change that. Over the course of the next few weeks, I'll be releasing an economic plan that focuses on ending the corrupt merger of state and corporate power to make sure Americans can once again afford their most essential expenses: housing, food, childcare, commuting to work, and the healthcare we need to survive.

To protect our security I suspended the entry of foreign refugees from terror afflicted nations.  Biden has pledged a staggering 700 percent increase in refugees from the most violent terrorist hotspots anywhere on earth.  If you don’t mind I’ll end that.  And that was the deal, the manifesto, that he agreed to with Bernie Sanders and AOC+3 [Rep. THE REALITY OF PRO-WALL STREET BIDENOMICS:

Sanders declared:

In the wealthiest country in the history of the world, tens of millions struggle to put food on the table, find affordable housing, affordable health care, affordable prescription drugs, affordable childcare and affordable educational opportunities. That is an indisputable reality, and it is imperative that we acknowledge that reality.

At a time of unprecedented income and wealth inequality, while the billionaire class and the 1 percent are doing better than at any time in American history, over 60 percent of our people live paycheck to paycheck, while many work for starvation wages and under terrible working conditions. Despite massive increases in worker productivity and an explosion in technology, the average American worker is making $45 a week less today than he or she did 50 years ago after adjusting for inflation, while the vast majority of our families need two bread winners to survive.

In New Hampshire speech, Bernie Sanders seeks to give Biden “progressive” credentials, comparing him to FDR

In a speech Saturday to a New Hampshire forum that is a traditional stop for presidential candidates preparing for the state’s primary election, Senator Bernie Sanders appeared as an advocate for President Joe Biden, hailing the “achievements” of the Biden administration and even comparing its work to the New Deal of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the high point of capitalist reformism in the United States.

The speech, delivered at St. Anselm College in Goffstown, New Hampshire, was grossly misleading in painting Biden’s domestic policies in rosy colors. Sanders praised the American Rescue Plan, the initial huge handout to corporate America disguised as an anti-COVID measure, the infrastructure legislation, also a handout to the construction industry, and the Inflation Reduction Act, particularly its spending on climate change, again consisting of handouts to “green energy” companies.

Perhaps most revealing was Sanders’ total silence on the foreign policy of the White House, above all its proxy war in Ukraine against Russia and its rapid military build-up in the Asia-Pacific region in preparation for war with China. This was a deliberate cover-up of the Biden administration’s leading role in a reckless militaristic policy that threatens humanity with the specter of World War III.

Even apart from the danger of a nuclear Armageddon, as Biden himself put it, the drive to war makes it impossible to pursue a reformist agenda at home.

In this March 15, 2020 file photo, current President Joe Biden, left, and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont., right, greet one another before they participate in a Democratic presidential primary debate at CNN Studios in Washington. [AP Photo/Evan Vucci]

It was the entry of the United States into World War II that put an end to Roosevelt’s reformist experiments in social policy, just as it was the vast spending on the war in Vietnam that ended Lyndon Johnson’s “War on Poverty” in the 1960s. Now the maintenance of a gigantic US military machine, costing more that $1 trillion a year, combined with the erosion of the global dominance of the US economy, makes anything comparable even to the limited measures of Roosevelt and Johnson absolutely impossible.

This is already evident in the minimal character of the measures enacted under Biden, which Sanders presented as the second coming of the New Deal. Where Roosevelt established the Social Security system, which has become the foundational program of income support for the elderly and disabled, and Johnson established Medicare and Medicaid, which provide health coverage for nearly half the US population, Biden proved unable to push through even incremental improvements in either program, let alone enact new programs like universal childcare and pre-kindergarten education, which he promised in his campaign.

On the contrary, Biden has shifted to a policy of austerity, as evidenced by this year’s bipartisan debt limit legislation, which includes $1.5 trillion in domestic spending cuts.

There was a howling contradiction in Sanders’ speech calling for Biden’s re-election. On the one hand, he presented the record of the Biden administration as a massive exercise in progressive reform. On the other hand, he called on the Democratic Party to break with its “corporate wing” and launch an offensive against big business.

This appeal ignores a very obvious and well-established political fact: Biden is himself the personification of the most openly pro-corporate elements in the Democratic Party, a party which, in its entirety, is controlled by the capitalist class. He represented Delaware, the corporate headquarters of choice because of its friendly tax and regulatory structure, for 36 years in the Senate. He was arguably the most right-wing of the Democratic presidential hopefuls in 2008, and certainly the most right-wing of the major candidates for the nomination in 2020, when Sanders was his main rival.

In effect, Sanders is appealing to Biden to break with himself, and peddling illusions among his supporters that such a political contortion is possible.

He declared:

The Democrats, once and for all, must reject the corporate wing of the party and empower those who are prepared to create a grassroots, multi-racial, multi-generational working class party in every state in this country. Democrats, through words and action, must make it clear that they stand with a struggling working class, a disappearing middle class, and millions of low income Americans who are barely surviving.

Sanders’ invocations of the working class reflect the increasing nervousness in the political establishment—of which he is part—that workers are beginning to break free of the control of the bureaucratic trade unions and the privileged apparatus that uses the unions to suppress the class struggle.

That is why Biden has declared himself “the most pro-union president” in history, and why Biden and Sanders both applaud the militant pretensions of “reform” officials like Sean O’Brien in the Teamsters and Shawn Fain in the United Auto Workers, who are likewise boosted by pseudo-left groups such as the Democratic Socialists of America.

Sanders seeks to motivate his appeal to support Biden and the Democrats in 2024 by appealing to popular fears that Donald Trump might return to power on the basis of an authoritarian and ultra-reactionary program. But he does not explain how such a political comeback is possible for an ex-president who is widely hated and who attempted to overthrow the US Constitution and maintain himself in power after losing the 2020 election.

This is due entirely to the refusal of Biden and the Democrats to conduct any struggle against the mounting threat to democratic rights and the transformation of the Republican Party into a fascist  party in all but name. On the country, Biden declared that one of his major goals was to preserve a strong Republican Party and enact policies on the basis of bipartisan collaboration.

Sanders presented, in the course of his speech, a dire picture of the social conditions facing the American working class, which was in complete contradiction to his paean to the supposed achievements of the Biden administration. He urged Biden to follow the example of Roosevelt, who delivered his famous speech about “one-third of a nation ill-housed, ill-clad, ill-nourished” in the course of a successful re-election campaign.

The two-time presidential candidate did not explain or address how the Republican Party and the billionaire Trump were able to appeal to working people facing such conditions, because this is due to the right-wing, anti-working class policies of the Democratic Party and the Biden administration, which Sanders supports, and the political straitjacket of the capitalist two-party system, which gives workers no alternative to the Democrats and Republicans.

Despite his nominal status as an “independent,” Sanders has upheld the two-party monopoly, seeking the presidential nomination of the Democratic Party and now functioning as an integral member of the Senate Democratic leadership.

This role was evident on both of the television talks shows where he appeared on Sunday. He gave perfunctory answers to questions about his New Hampshire speech, then was asked virtually the same question by each moderator: What was his attitude to the third-party candidacy of Professor Cornel West, who is seeking the presidential nomination of the Green Party.

On both programs, Sanders expressed his personal admiration for West, while claiming that re-electing Biden was essential to preventing Trump from returning to power. On “Meet the Press,” he said, “at the end of the day, I think the progressive community in general and the American people have got to make a decision as to whether we stand for democracy or authoritarianism.”

On “State of the Union,” he said he disagreed with “my good friend Cornel West” because “there is a real question whether democracy is going to remain in the United States of America,” and it was necessary to support Biden to keep Trump out.

West himself offers no genuine alternative to working people. But Sanders seeks to suppress any effort, no matter how limited, that might threaten the two-party monopoly and divert votes away from Biden and the Democrats.

Bottom line: Lawyers are the worst. If you like them and think they should have more money, vote for Democrats.

COUNT THE LAWERS IN THE IMAGE BELOW. ALL BRIBES SUCKING GAMER LAWYERS!

The Evil of the Democrat Party

Masking the true carnage to protect leftist fairy tales.

The city of Chicago might as well not exist to Democrats on the national stage. Yes, that party has ruled the city with an iron fist since 1931, and the dead there has a remarkable turnout rate for elections, but in Washington, DC, the city doesn’t exist. Joe Biden and the swamp gang don’t mention it because they’d have to acknowledge the piles of dead bodies the city racks up annually. While they’ll show up occasionally in the region for a photo-op, they won’t talk about the murders, the drugs, or the terror citizens there feel on a daily basis. It is, for lack of a more perfect word, evil.

Republicans have zero say over what happens in Chicago; everything terrible there is directly a result of liberal policies. All the blood spilled drips off the hands of Democrats. They know it; they don’t care.

Why would they? What consequences have Democrats faced for their failure? In the last 92 years, there hasn’t been a blip on the radar of a threat to Democrats winning elections there, so why would anyone give a damn? The city had a chance to pull up, just a little, from its nosedive when they tossed out the incompetent Lori Lightfoot in the mayoral primary last year. But rather than go with a more sane option, they voted for someone even worse. The new Mayor gets more upset when someone refers to murderous goons as a mob than he does any of the murders in the city.

Why is anyone supposed to care if the people who live there don’t? If you continually vote for people who beat the hell out of you, why would people care that you’re regularly getting the hell beat out of you?

Still, it’s an embarrassment to Democrats to see what Chicago has become. The same goes for Detroit, Baltimore, Philadelphia, St. Louis, and every other city controlled by Democrats for generations. Not all the crime, not all the death, the pointing out of the crime and the death by Republicans. That’s what Democrats are concerned with – the extent to which the white, suburban chardonnay-swilling soccer mom who votes blindly for Democrats become aware of the indifference with which the progressive power structure views human life and how those dots are connected in their heads between the violence and their “safe” lives. If those voters realize they aren’t more than a few election cycles away from their quiet slice of life being overrun by the same mentality, they might not slavishly vote and donate to Democrats.

These Democrats in power only care about anything to the extent that it can harm their electoral prospects. In these killing fields called cities, those electoral prospects are unburdened by responsibility – Democrats will continue to mine the votes of people who’d elected the morons they’ve elected to mayor’s offices in perpetuity. It’s the suburbs they’re afraid of losing.

It tells you something that the left doesn’t care about all the murders. From “Black Lives Matter” to “Shut up about all the black people getting murdered by black people,” people don’t look to politicians for intellectual consistency. It’s one thing when the neighborhood liquor store or downtown shoe shop gets looted by a group of “teens,” it’s something else entirely when it hits their suburban salon or boutique of choice.

The thought of that keeps Democrats up at night. The thought of that makes Democrats believers in walls, at least metaphorical ones enforced by culture and police. If that wall is breached… lookout.

In the meantime, Democrats have to do something, usually, the bare minimum, to pretend to care about the carnage they really only seek to contain. Which brings us back to Chicago.

In their latest attempt to put a Band-Aid on a bullet wound, the Democrats in the city are calling for a ceasefire…between the hours of 9 am and 9 pm. This, presumably, means it’s game on from dusk till dawn. It’s like holding “The Purge” every night, just as long a suburban Karen can make it home safely from her early dinner downtown. The people who live there…screw them.

It truly is evil. But to not practice evil, you have to view the people being harmed as, well, people. Then you’d have to care about them on top of it. Since the days of slavery, Democrats haven’t viewed black people as people. That’s an “I’m better than you” attitude, not one based on skin color, so the black leadership in the city carries it with them as well.

As long as the violence can be maintained as a “made for TV event,” specifically made for Fox News, nothing will change because there’s no threat to Democrats. Scores of people will continue to die, children will continue to have their future set on fire by a failed education system, and Karen will still get her suburban mani-pedi with her morally superior future cirrhosis circle of friends while watching Bravo, utterly oblivious to the destruction in the wake of her voting habits. And Democrats will laugh all the way to the end.

They’re going to be in for a rude awakening when they get to Hell.

How Democrats Get Filthy Rich

Plaintiffs in Google settlement get $95 each, lawyers pocket $35 million

Andrew Stiles

July 21, 2023

What happened: A bunch of Democratic lawyers are getting rich after settling a class action lawsuit against Google.

•  The plaintiffs in the case, Illinois residents who can prove Google violated their privacy rights between 2015 and 2022, will receive about $95 each.

• Their lawyers will receive $35 million in fees.

Why it matters: The lawyers who worked on the Google case are Democratic donors, obviously. Lawyers love Democrats because Democrats favor policies that inevitably require the involvement of lots of highly compensated lawyers.

• Lawyers and law firms donated $254 million to Democrats during the 2020 election cycle, more than four times the amount they gave Republicans. That's a quarter of a billion dollars.

By the numbers: Collectively, the named attorneys have contributed thousands of dollars to Democratic candidates and committees over the years, and $500 to Mitt Romney in 2012, according to a Washington Free Beacon analysis.

• Tina Wolfson, Adhoot & Wolfson — donated more than $13,000 to Democratic candidates since 2016.

• Theodore Maya, Adhoot & Wolfson — donated to Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

• Frank Hedin, Hedin Hall LLP — donated more than $11,000 to Democratic candidates and committees since 2020, including $2,800 to Joe Biden's presidential campaign.

• Scott Bursor, Bursor & Fischer — donated more than $12,000 to Democratic candidates since 2011.

• Katrina Carroll and Kyle Shamberg, Lynch Carpenter LLP — each gave $2,900 to Sen. John Fetterman (D., Pa.) in August 2022, after his stroke.

Bottom line: Lawyers are the worst. If you like them and think they should have more money, vote for Democrats.

BLACKROCK IS JOE BIDEN’S BIGGEST BRIBESTER.

EXCLUSIVE: RFK Jr. Proposes 3 Percent Mortgages, Says Corporations Make Housing Crisis Worse

Democrat presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. waves to the audience after delivering a foreign policy speech at St. Anselm College in Manchester, N.H., on June 20, 2023

By Jeff Louderback

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said that if elected president, he would create a 3 percent mortgage for Americans guaranteed by the government and funded by the sale of tax-free bonds, and he would work to make it less profitable for large corporations to own single-family homes in the United States.

“If you have a rich uncle who co-signs your mortgage, you will get a lower interest rate because the bank looks at his credit rating. I’m going to give everyone a rich uncle, and his name is Uncle Sam,” Mr. Kennedy said at a recent town hall in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Mr. Kennedy added that the first 500,000 of those 3 percent mortgages would be reserved for teachers.

ANALYSIS: US Housing Market Facing Many Challenges From High Mortgage Rates to Lack of Supply

Since entering the 2024 presidential race and announcing he would challenge President Joe Biden for the Democrat party nomination, Mr. Kennedy has promoted a platform centered on “healing the divide” and “restoring the middle class.”

He recently traveled around South Carolina talking to voters about his ideas.

“Both President Trump and President Biden are running on platforms that they’ve brought prosperity to this country. But when I travel around South Carolina and other states, I’m not seeing that,” Mr. Kennedy told an audience in Charleston. “I’m seeing people who are living at a level of desperation that I have not seen in this country ever.”

Soaring Costs and Debt

Mr. Kennedy chastised the Biden administration, noting that the country has seen higher food prices, credit card debt, and energy costs, as well as an affordable housing crisis.

“In the last two years, the price of housing has gone from $250,000 average to $400,000. Interest rates have gone up 20 percent, and we don’t need to have that happen,” Mr. Kennedy said. “There are ways that the federal government can help people without driving up the debt.”

Making it easier for Americans to buy single-family homes without competing against institutional investors is a priority, Mr. Kennedy said.

A Wall Street Journal report in 2021 showed that 200 corporations were aggressively buying tens of thousands of single-family houses, including entire neighborhoods, and significantly increasing rental prices.

Pew Charitable Trusts, a nonpartisan research organization based in Philadelphia, reported that investors purchased 24 percent of the single-family homes bought in 2021. In 2022, the number climbed to 28 percent of single-family home purchases, according to the organization.

A MetLife Financial Management study contends that institutional investors could own up to 40 percent of single-family homes by 2030.

“Americans are being shut out of the American dream,” Mr. Kennedy said.

Mr. Kennedy calls the issue a “crisis,” and directed blame on companies like BlackRock, State Street, and Vanguard.

A 2017 academic paper published by Cambridge University Press reported that the three firms constitute the largest shareholder in 88 percent of S&P 500 firms.

“And now they have a new target, which is to gain ownership of all the single-family residences in this country. And they are on a trajectory to do that,” Mr. Kennedy told an audience in Greenville, South Carolina.

“Usually, when a company buys a home with a cash offer, there is an LLC with an ambiguous name. It often can be traced back to one of those big companies,” Mr. Kennedy explained.

Mr. Kennedy added that Larry Fink, the CEO of BlackRock, is a World Economic Forum board member.

“The WEF is a billionaire boys club that meets in Davos every year and has a plan, which is New World Order and what they have called the Great Reset,” Mr. Kennedy noted. “Klaus Schwab, who wrote the book on that agenda, says that you will own nothing and you will be happy. They are well on their way to accomplishing that first part.”

Corporate Investments in Ohio

Earlier this year, Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) introduced legislation called the “Stop Predatory Investing Act” that would ban federal tax breaks on interest and depreciation for corporations (JOE BIDEN’S CRONY, LARRY FINK OF BLACKROCK) that own 50 or more single-family rental homes. If passed, the bill would make it less profitable for large investment companies to buy so many homes.

In Cleveland, Mr. Brown said, institutional investors own 70 percent of homes in one zip code.

The same problem exists in neighborhoods like Cincinnati’s East Price Hill, Mr. Brown remarked.

"In 2021, the last year we have complete data at this point, investors bought 15 percent of homes, and nearly 50 percent of homes in some communities like Price Hill,” Mr. Brown told reporters. “It drives up prices and makes it harder for relatively low-income families. That's where they prey on people."

Another presidential candidate agrees with Mr. Kennedy’s assessment of BlackRock, State Street, and Vanguard

Ohio entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, who has emerged as one of the main challengers behind former President Donald Trump in the 2024 Republican presidential primary, wrote on social media that BlackRock, State Street, and Vanguard represent “arguably the most powerful cartel in human history.”

"They're the largest shareholders of nearly every major public company (even of each other)," Mr. Ramaswamy posted on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

"And they use your own money to foist ESG agendas onto corporate boards—voting for 'racial equity audits' & 'Scope 3 emissions caps' that don't advance your best financial interests. This raises serious fiduciary, antitrust, and conflict-of-interest concerns."

Economic Struggle

Mr. Kennedy, who is scheduled to speak at a town hall in the Brooklyn borough of New York City on Aug. 30, criticized Mr. Ramaswamy and the other seven Republicans who were on stage at the party’s first 2024 presidential debate in Milwaukee on Aug. 23.

“The Republican debate last night was out of sync with the mood of the country,” Mr. Kennedy said in a statement, pointing out that the candidates “said nothing about the desperation and hardship working people face in this country. They said nothing about wages, housing costs, food costs, child care costs, and medical costs, or what we can do about it. They said nothing about the systemic corruption that enriches corporations and the elites as swaths of the former middle class fall into poverty.”

“Our nation deserves better than posturing and bickering masquerading as debate. Instead of arguing, we can tap into the swelling popular will to turn this country around,” Mr. Kennedy added.

At every stop in South Carolina, Mr. Kennedy said that one of his first priorities as president would be to change the tax code so that “it will be less profitable for large corporations to own single-family homes.”

During his address in Brooklyn, just as he did in South Carolina, Mr. Kennedy is expected to talk about the economic challenges facing American families, and his plan to address those issues.

Curbing credit card debt is another way to help more Americans achieve home ownership and become more financially comfortable.

“Many Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. The average income in this country is $5,000 less than the average cost of living. What that means is people have to make up the difference by putting those expenses on credit cards,” Mr. Kennedy told a crowd in Richmond, Virginia.

“We recently reached a milestone in this country with more than $1 trillion in personal credit card debt,” Mr. Kennedy said, adding that many creditors are charging interest rates of 22 percent and higher. “If it was the mafia, it would be loan sharking and they would go to jail, but for banks and credit card companies, it is considered the cost of doing business.”

Before concluding his remarks about credit card debt, Mr. Kennedy asked the audience a question.

“Who do you think owns many of those companies? BlackRock, State Street, and Vanguard,” he said. “They are strip mining the wealth of the American public, and their political clout allows them to do that, which is why I’m going to make it less profitable for large corporations to own single-family homes.”

Biden Out of Step with Non-White Working Class as Democrats Champion Upper-Class Liberal Values

President Joe Biden is struggling specifically with non-white working class voters, polls show, as the White House’s attention to a green energy agenda and far-left social causes as well as its shrugging off rising crime turns them off.

In the 2020 presidential election, Biden swept critical swing states against then-President Trump with the help of non-white working class voters — those without a college degree. He won the group by a 48-point margin.

Today, a recent New York Times/Siena College poll reveals Biden is leading non-white working class voters by just 49 percent compared to Trump’s 33 percent. For comparison, former President Obama won this key group of voters by a 67-point margin in 2012.

The dropoff of support for Biden, American Enterprise Institute (AEI) senior fellow Ruy Teixeira writes, is a result of the Democrats’ embrace of Critical Race Theory (CRT) that proclaims “systemic racism” runs throughout every institution in the United States, soft-on-crime policies, a green energy agenda, and transgenderism that suggests gender is a spectrum with variations.

To come to such conclusions, Teixeira reviewed a massive survey conducted by AEI and the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) which found that on these major policy issues, non-white working class voters differed greatly from the Democrat Party’s base of upper middle class, college-educated non-white and white liberals.

On economics and cultural issues, the survey shows Biden and elected Democrats adopting a national agenda driven by college-educated liberals and few others.

In one example, 61 percent of moderate-to-conservative non-white working class voters said racism derives from individual people and not society as a whole. In contrast, 82 percent of white college-educated liberals said racism stems from American society and 78 percent of non-white college-educated liberals said the same.

“That tells you a lot about who influences the Democratic Party today and who does not,” Teixeira writes.

On transgenderism, seven in ten moderate-to-conservative non-white working class voters said sports ought to require athletes to play on teams that match their biological sex. Among non-white and white college-educated liberals, though, allowing athletes to join teams based on their so-called “gender identity” is backed by a 40-point margin.

Likewise, on the vital issue of crime, 63 percent of moderate-to-conservative non-white working class voters said police departments should be fully funded to fight crime. Meanwhile, 69 percent of non-white college-educated liberals said police funding should be moved to social services instead, as did 76 percent of white college-educated liberals.

Perhaps most surprising for Democrats is the unpopularity of the Biden administration’s rapid green energy push that could eliminate millions of American jobs in the oil and gas industry as well as in the auto industry.

Moderate-to-conservative non-white working class voters said by a 50-point margin that they want to see oil, coal, and natural gas, along with renewable energy, used in the American economy.

Conversely, 64 percent of non-white college-educated liberals said they want oil and gas banned entirely and for the United States to rely solely on renewable energy. About 66 percent of white college-educated liberals said the same.

In the last two presidential elections, in 2016 and 2020, research repeatedly found that most likely U.S. voters are populists and nationalists when it comes to the American economy and lean slightly conservative on cultural issues.

“Democrats should think very carefully if they can afford an image and policy commitments that are so unattractive to so many nonwhite working-class voters,” Teixeira writes.

NLRB Complaint: Google and Accenture Violated Labor Laws by Laying Off Contractors Who Voted to Unionize

Google parent company Alphabet and Accenture are facing allegations of violating labor laws, after about 80 Google Help subcontractors who recently voted to unionize were laid off. The workers have filed a complaint with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) that claims the layoffs were in retaliation for the union vote.

Engadget reports that around 80 Google Help subcontractors who recently voted to unionize were fired, prompting accusations that Alphabet and Accenture violated labor laws. The Alphabet Workers Union-Communications Workers of America (AWU-CWA) has filed a complaint with the NLRB, claiming the layoffs are retaliatory and in violation of labor laws.

“When my coworkers and I announced our union with overwhelming support, Google and Accenture management refused to acknowledge us,” said general writer at Accenture and Google, Anjail Muhammad. “A few short weeks later they announced their response — that they would be laying off dozens of employees. These jobs aren’t going away though, we’re just being asked to train our replacements abroad.”

The team, primarily involved in content creation, will be reduced from 130 people to around 40. They were reportedly instructed to train replacements working from India and the Philippines.

Alphabet’s response to the situation has been to distance itself from the issue, stating that “Google does not control [the contractor’s] employment terms or working conditions” and that the situation was “a matter between them and their employer, Accenture.” The company further added that the layoffs were for savings and efficiency and no other reason, and that it “chooses its partners and staffing agencies carefully and reviews their compliance with its Supplier Code of Conduct.”

The situation has raised significant questions about the rights and protections of contract workers, especially in the tech industry, where the majority of Google’s employees have been contractors since 2018.

“We had exercised our right to organize as members of the Alphabet Workers Union-CWA in order to bring both Google and Accenture, a Google subcontractor, to the bargaining table to negotiate on several key demands, including layoff protections,” said senior writer and union member Julia Nagatsu Granstrom.

“If it’s Accenture and Google’s goal to demoralize us, they have failed,” said Casey Padron, a general writer on the team scheduled to lose her job in August. “We are more united than ever and will continue to fight for this job that so many of us love and rely on.”

HERE'D WHY THEY LOVE NAFTA JOE

In August, billion dollar tech corporations such as Amazon, Apple, Facebook, and Twitter signed onto a U.S. Chamber of Commerce lawsuit against Trump’s executive order — arguing that they have a right to import foreign workers to fill U.S. jobs.

Unlike Trump, Biden has promised to increase the number of foreign H-1B visa workers that tech corporations will be able to import every year. The practice is a boon to tech executives.

There are about 650,000 H-1B visa workers in the U.S. at any given moment. Americans are often laid off in the process and forced to train their foreign replacements, as highlighted by Breitbart News. More than 85,000 Americans annually potentially lose their jobs to foreign labor through the H-1B visa program.

Analysis conducted in 2018 discovered that 71 percent of tech workers in Silicon Valley, California, are foreign-born, while the tech industry in the San Francisco, Oakland, and Hayward area is made up of 50 percent foreign-born tech workers. Up to 99 percent of H-1B visa workers imported by the top eight outsourcing firms are from India.

THE BIDEN COULDN'T EXIST WITHOUT INTERNET CENSORSHIP

Campaign websites for Democrats who ran in the 2020 primaries are appearing higher in Google search results than the websites of Republican candidates in 2024, as well as the campaign websites of Joe Biden’s top challenger in the Democrat primary, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

The Media Research Center (MRC), which monitors bias in media and tech companies, discovered the biased search results when conducting searches on Google for “presidential campaign websites.”

Via MRC:

MRC Free Speech America researchers searched Google for “presidential campaign websites,” but the search engine did not display a single Republican candidate on its first page of results the day before the first Republican Party presidential primary debate on Wednesday. President Joe Biden’s campaign website, of course, showed up as the second search result along with a Democratic Party challenger Marianne Williamson’s campaign website, which came up as the fifth result.

Google even displayed results for past failed Democratic Party presidential candidates who aren’t even running this cycle, including: Sen. Bernie Sanders’s (I-VT) website, which showed up as the ninth result; Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) campaign website, which came in twelfth; and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s campaign website, which appeared twenty-ninth in the results.

Notably, 2024 Democrat presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., did not appear in Google’s search results even though he is, at present, the biggest threat to President Joe Biden’s nomination.

Of all major tech companies, Google and its related companies seem most committed to maintaining a pro-establishment Democrat bias. While other tech companies, notably Elon Musk’s Twitter/X, have claimed to relax some of the draconian censorship measures against conservatives, Google has ramped them up. YouTube, its video platform, recently doubled down on its COVID censorship policies, and has repeatedly censored interviews with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Just days after the 2016 election, Google executives in a panicked company townhall meeting declared their intention to make the populist movement a “blip” in history. The full video of the meeting was later leaked to Breitbart News. In 2020, Breitbart documented Google making good on this promise, reducing the visibility of Breitbart News links in Google search results by over 95 percent compared to 2016.

According to NBC News and other sources, President Joe Biden is expected to appoint Tom Nides ambassador to Israel. Nides’ wife, Virginia Moseley, is Senior Vice President of Newsgathering at CNN.

This is just one of many ties between Biden and Obama administration officials I expose in Breaking the News: Exposing the Establishment Media’s Hidden Deals and Secret Corruption, my new book revealing the secret ties between the establishment media, Big Tech, and the activist left.

There appears to be overlap between Moseley’s work and her husband’s. WikiLeaks released an email from 2015 showing Nides tipping off Hillary Clinton campaign manager John Podesta to a favorable CNN poll that was soon to be released.

Currently an executive at Morgan Stanley, Nides served as deputy secretary of state under Hillary Clinton. He was a top bundler for Biden’s 2020 campaign and is on the advisory board of the Biden Institute at the University of Delaware.

Nides wouldn’t be the only Biden official in bed with a major player at CNN. Karine Jean-Pierre, Biden’s deputy press secretary, is married to CNN national correspondent and anchor Suzanne Malveaux. During the Obama administration, Malveaux was assigned to cover the White House, where Jean-Pierre worked in the Office of Political Affairs.

The latest conflict is par for the course at CNN. Last week, the Washington Post reported that CNN’s Chris Cuomo, the younger brother of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D), advised the governor’s office on their response to sexual assault allegations against the elder Cuomo.

In 2013, CNN president Jeff Zucker let his then-fifteen-year-old son Andrew join Democrat Sen. Cory Booker’s Internet start-up as a “millennial adviser.” The younger Zucker was even given stock, before quickly resigning amid media scrutiny.

‘Breaking the News’: Marlow Reveals How the Biden Administration Seemingly Rewarded Big Tech After the Election

Breitbart News editor-in-chief Alex Marlow’s new book, Breaking the News: Exposing the Establishment Media’s Hidden Deals and Secret Corruption reveals the deep connections between Big Tech and the Democrat party establishment.

Joe Biden, who benefited from Silicon Valley election meddling during the 2020 election, wasted no time in appointing members of Silicon Valley’s elite class to influential positions in his transition team.

Marlow writes:

Jeff Zients, a former Facebook board member, is Biden’s COVID czar. Erskine Bowles, a former Facebook board member, advised the transition. Jessica Hertz, formerly a government affairs executive at Facebook,  served as the Biden transition team’s general counsel.

The book goes on to explain how executives from other companies, including Amazon, Google, and Microsoft were placed in the “revolving door” between Big Tech and Big Government.

Breaking the News also reveals the emerging trend of collusion between Big Tech, with its vast surveillance apparatus, and the U.S. national security deep state. Marlow explains:

After Biden’s election win, the convergence of the national security establishment and the Masters of the Universe began to reveal itself. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines both worked for the consulting firm WestExec, which Blinken cofounded with Michèle Flournoy, a former undersecretary of defense under President Obama. Google hired WestExec to help them land valuable Department of Defense contracts.

From a Reuters report from December 2020: “Google’s former Chief Executive Eric Schmidt, a billionaire who is a Silicon Valley titan, has been making personnel recommendations for appointments to the Department of Defense—as the company tries to pursue military contracts and defense work, according to three sources.” When Biden was sworn in, Schmidt was appointed to lead a government panel on artificial intelligence.

Marlow contacted Schmidt’s team in an effort to confirm the Reuters report — but they refused to comment.

Nolte: Russell Brand Tells the Truth About Democrat, Media, Big Tech Collusion to Hide Biden Scandals and Influence 2020 Election

Matt Sayles/Invision/AP

JOHN NOLTE

Unlike all the left-wing posers in the world of entertainment who shamelessly toe the line when it comes to the establishment’s “approved” lines of thought and who then declare themselves brave for bravely siding with the government, big business, and big media, actor-comedian Russell Brand actually said something brave the other day.

“Did the media and social media conspire together to keep information about Joe Biden and Hunter Biden’s relationship with foreign energy companies out of the media?” Brand asked rhetorically. “The answer is: Yes, they did.”

Brand spoke this truth in a video introducing a clip from his podcast Under the Skin where he interviewed independent journalist Glenn Greenwald about this appalling collusion.

Watch below:

Brand’s comments align closely with what Breitbart editor-in-chief Alex Marlow exposed in his new bestseller, Breaking the News: Exposing the Establishment Media’s Hidden Deals and Secret Corruption.

“Some of the most powerful people in the world, the Masters of the Universe in Silicon Valley — none of them elected, most of them anonymous — turned dials to increase or decrease the flow of critical information the American electorate needed to make informed decisions in the presidential race,” writes Marlow.

Marlow goes on to point out how the suppression of negative Biden stories (Hunter Biden’s laptop story is the most egregious example) and positive Trump stories were part of a coordinated, deliberate, and dishonest scheme designed to damage Trump’s reelection chances by misinforming the public.

Although he’s no Republican, and says so, Brand saw the exact same thing happen. Later in the video he says:

Look, I’m not a pro-Republican person. I don’t see myself that way. I don’t see myself as a conservative, or that I’m in a Trump or Giuliani or media establishments that were reporting on these revelations, they are not my cultural, social, or political allies. That’s certainly not how I see myself. However, it seems to me that what reason is Hunter Biden  on the board of an energy company in the Ukraine? What reason is [Joe Biden’s brother] James Biden  on the board or receiving payments from an energy company in China?

[F]or me, revelations that there are financial connections between energy companies in the Ukraine, energy companies in China, and the Biden family are troubling. That should be public knowledge. And it’s even more troubling that Twitter and Facebook and the media at large deliberately kept it out of the news because they didn’t want it to influence the election. What is democracy, then? It suggests to me that democracy is, ‘We want you to vote for this person. We don’t want you to vote for that person.’

As I’ve said … I don’t think Donald Trump’s the answer, but I’m sad to realize that I can no longer even claim to believe that Joe Biden or the Democratic Party might be the answer, because look at how they behave. And look at the relationships between media, social media, and that party. They conspired to keep information away from you because it was not convenient to their agenda.

None of what Brand (or Marlow) said is opinion. It is fact.

The New York Post’s bombshell reports about the disclosures on what is almost certainly Hunter Biden’s laptop, and what those disclosures reveal about the Biden family’s corruption, were openly and proudly suppressed by the corporate media and Big Tech.

Then you have all the fake fact checking (the Wuhan lab leak) on top of the flat-out lies (Trump called Nazis very good people) on top of the canceling and blacklisting and throttling to silence dissident voices.

Good on Brand for speaking up. Let’s hope some others in his field find the same moral courage.

Alex Marlow: Don’t Call It ‘Stolen’ — How the Big Tech Masters of the Universe Imposed Their Will on the American Electorate

“The manipulation of social media platforms and activism by partisan Democrats in Silicon Valley was a deciding factor in the outcome of the 2020 presidential election,” Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow explains in an op-ed in the Washington Times detailing his research into the 2020 election from his new book Breaking the News: Exposing the Establishment Media’s Hidden Deals and Secret Corruption.

Marlow writes that the 2020 election wasn’t “stolen” from Donald Trump in some “spy-thriller-esque” conspiracy involving Hugo Chavez and voting machines, and suggesting that it was “stolen” is the “easiest way to get removed from the Internet and social media.” However, the true story of how Democrats won is still troubling and reeks of corruption, according to Marlow.

First, he explains how Silicon Valley’s Masters of the Universe controlled the flow of critical information: “Some of the most powerful people in the world, the Masters of the Universe in Silicon Valley — none of them elected, most of them anonymous — turned dials to increase or decrease the flow of critical information the American electorate needed to make informed decisions in the presidential race.”

Marlow points to Big Tech censorship of stories about Hunter Biden’s corruption scandals, as well as Google suppressing Breitbart News’ traffic for anyone searching for articles about “Joe Biden.” Suppression of negative stories about Biden – as well as positive stories about Trump – had the potential of swinging voters in key states, Marlow notes, highlighting a poll conducted by the Media Research Center showing that 17 percent of Biden voters would have changed their votes had they known about certain stories widely covered by Breitbart News.

In addition to controlling the “flow of information,” Silicon Valley billionaires also spent lavishly to impact the election at the ballot box, particularly with the push for vote-by-mail, Marlow explains:

If you had any doubt those who control the flow of information in this country were determined to get Trump out of power, look no further than Mark Zuckerberg. The Facebook CEO spent hundreds of millions of dollars on “safe” election administration, but these efforts appear to have been little more than a de facto get-out-the-vote (GOTV) operation to benefit Democrats.

The centerpiece of this was COVID-safe “drop boxes.” These were bins that look like aluminum public trash cans, placed throughout the country, largely unprotected and unguarded (compared to in-person voting). These made it easier for people to “safely” turn in their mail-in ballots. Critics of the plan said that a high number of these drop boxes were placed in precincts that favor Democrats, particularly ones that were likely to be close races. These drop boxes weren’t necessary anyway, as in-person voting did not worsen the pandemic.

Yet, the sad reality is that Republicans, by and large, let the Masters of the Universe do all this. Perhaps it was because they feared harming the tech companies that were driving the stock markets to record highs, maybe they were following a blind loyalty to the free market, perhaps many were paid off by Big Tech lobbyists, certainly some were uninformed and ignorant. Whatever the explanation is, the GOP was wildly ineffective at protecting their own voters’ ability to freely read and share information.

Marlow calls on Republicans to pursue legislative reforms to rein in Big Tech, including “legislation to treat social media platforms as common carriers like trains or phone companies; this would prevent them from discriminating based on political ideology (or any other reason, for that matter).”

“Breaking up the biggest technology companies, reforms to antitrust law, and reforming the safe harbor for censorship of section 230 of the Communications Decency Act should all be considered,” he writes. “But most importantly, conservatives must turn to governors, legislatures, and Attorneys General in Republican-led states. This will take political willpower, but it can be done.”

Marlow’s book Breaking the News is now available.

Reports: India’s H-1B Workers Back Joe Biden

for President

NEIL MUNRO

Indian H-1B visa workers in the United States are rooting for Joe Biden and hoping President Donald Trump and his pro-American reforms will get the boot, according to reports in Indian media.

“Many H-1B visa holders, according to Jeya Ganesh, are wishing for a Biden win,” said a report in IndiaTimes.com. “Biden would be the preferred choice for skilled workers. He established clearly that he would resolve the hurdles for tech workers,” he said, adding, “If Trump gets reelected …  Canada is one option I am looking forward to.”

At least 500,000 Indians hold H-1B visas or H4EAD work permits that keep them in a wide range of U.S. white-collar jobs — despite the exclusion of many American graduates from career jobs. Nearly all of those visa workers hope the federal government will quickly provide them with the huge prize of green cards and citizenship. But that process is facing political challenges as Trump pushes popular rewrites of the H-1B program to help younger American graduates get white-collar jobs.

The support for Biden among Indians reflects the same rational assessment made by poor migrants at the U.S-Mexican border. “Asylum-seekers stranded in Matamoros, Mexico, have a plea for voters in November: Elect Joe Biden and “get us out of this hell,” said an October 20 report from the New Republic:

Migrants (& Wall St.) say they want Joe Biden to win – b/c he will open the United States to many more cheap-labor migrants.
That huge inflow, of course, would cut wages & raise housing $, so shifting yet more wealth to employers & coastal investors. https://t.co/6LGJQtVTj9

— Neil Munro (@NeilMunroDC) October 27, 2020

“The most pressing concerns for many [migrant] Indians and [citizen] Indian-Americans remain immigration and H-1B visas and how the outcome of the elections impact these issues,” said IndiaExpress.com:

“If Biden-Harris prevail, the immigration situation will improve,” says [Manish] Kothari. “However, the H-1B situation could continue to be challenging because of how the State Department has changed under the Trump administration. It will take some time to undo these changes.”

Trump’s hostile immigration policies over the past four years have deeply impacted many Silicon Valley employees and their families. “Many workers had to return and this could continue in the next administration. Students who come to the US will be protected because new H-1B entrants from India will have more challenges arriving. We’ve already seen both examples of workers having to return to India and students rising to take available jobs,” explains [Nirav] Shah.

Pramod, who “has spent nearly 13 years in the US, said he would want to see Biden as the next US president,” according to the IndiaTimes.com.  “Biden is good. But I don’t want to keep my hopes up,” he said.

Indian students in the United States, many of whom cycle between university courses and visa jobs, also support Biden. “I personally feel that [Trump’s student visa reform] this is some sort of attack on the international students,” said Ratul Biswas, a University of Minnesota Ph.D. student from India. He told the Star Tribune that he hopes to land a job as a professor in the flooded market for U.S. academic slots.

“Of course Biden,” responded Ajay Bhutoria, a Democrat-aligned Indian in Silicon Valley, Breitbart News asked him who is the favorite of Indian-origin H-1B workers in the valley. “They don’t have a vote, but their voices are for Biden,” he added. In Silicon Valley, he said 80 percent of naturalized Indians are voting for Biden rater than Trump, partly because of the H-1B visas issue, he said.

“The community understands who the real friend of India is, who the foe,” Bhutoria told FinancialExpress.com. “Trump is a foe. … He has suspended the H1 Visa Programme [and] put trade deals with India in jeopardy.”

Many Indian Americans rationally favor the H-1B program. The huge program — and other visa worker pipeless — bring in at least 150,000 Indian visa workers per year, thereby providing Indian-run businesses with cheap and controllable labor and also expanding the cultural, economic, and political clout of Indians in the United States:

Another survey shows Indian-Americans vote overwhelmingly for welcoming pro-diversity Democrats.
Yet GOP legislators support the policies that import roughly 150K Indian workers (incl. #H1B for US jobs) & 150K Indian legal immigrants per year. https://t.co/h03hkUtEQA

— Neil Munro (@NeilMunroDC) October 15, 2020

“Biden has clearly said he is going to raise at the H-1[B] program and increase it as the industry needs. He’s going to streamline the Green Card process in the first hundred days … so people in the Green Card [waiting line] can get the Green Card much faster,” Bhutoria told Breitbart.

On October 22, IndiaWest.com posted an op-ed appeal by Biden to Indian American voters:

I’ve always felt deeply connected to the Indian American community because of the values we share: duty to family and elders, treating people with respect and dignity, self-discipline, service, and hard work.

[Sen.] Kamala [Harris] is smart, tested, and prepared. But another thing that makes Kamala so inspiring is her mother, Shyamala Gopalan. We feel Kamala’s pride when she talks about her. She was from Chennai, where her father, Kamala’s grandfather, was active in the fight for Indian independence.

We also believe America is a land of opportunity. But it’s likely you and your family have been caught in the middle of President Trump’s crackdown of legal immigration and pathways to permanent residency and citizenship and his decisions on the H-1B visa program. And his dangerous rhetoric about immigrants has empowered white supremacists and even fueled hate crimes against Indian Americans.

Trump has also made much effort to win Indian American votes, particularly by helping businesses and cementing trade and security ties with India as its borders are challenged by an aggressive China.

Indian government officials also lean towards Biden, according to the Indian writer of an op-ed at CNN.com, who briefly noted the importance of the H-1B visa worker issue to India. “Indian diplomats say privately that handling the Trump administration has been complicated,” he wrote, adding:

If Biden wins, the Indian government can be expected to re-engage on climate issues, an easing of immigration restrictions and a resumption of less rancorous trade talks. New Delhi would also like to shore up sagging multilateralism and expects a President Biden to be less eager to pull all US troops out of Afghanistan, a major point of difference with the Trump administration.

There is also considerable vicarious pride in the choice of an Indian-American, Sen. Kamala Harris, as Biden’s running mate. One noticeable characteristic of the present campaign is the degree to which both candidates have gone to woo the Indian-American community. That the US is home to what is perceived by Indians as their most successful diaspora is just one more — and arguably the most lasting — reason that India and the US will remain close, irrespective of election results in either country.

Trump's H-1B rewrite is a huge break from the Fortune 500 b/c it shrinks their outsourcing & subcontracting policies.
So a huge win for US labor-rights, but few journos have the freedom to get past corporate/progressive framing of #H1B as 'immigration.'https://t.co/2lPDZhY2oH

— Neil Munro (@NeilMunroDC) October 29, 2020

Businesses and progressives praise open-ended legal migration partly because migrants’ arrival helps transfer wealth from wage earners to stockholders.

Migration moves money from employees to employers, from families to investors, from young to old, from homebuyers to real estate investors, and from the central states to the coastal states.

Migration also allows investors and CEOs to skimp on labor-saving technology, sideline U.S. minorities, ignore disabled peopleexploit stoop labor in the fields, short-change labor in the cities, impose tight control on American professionals, centralize technological innovation, undermine labor rights, and get many progressive reporters to cheerlead for Wall Street’s priorities.

Kamala Harris Raked in Cash from Big Tech During Democrat Primary

JOHN BINDER

During the 2020 Democrat presidential primary, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) was bestowed with the most billionaire donations of the nearly 30 candidates who ran for the nomination.

In the primary, Harris secured more donations from billionaires than any other Democrat running, according to a November 2019 analysis by Forbes. Before dropping out in early December 2019, Harris raked in donations from at least 46 billionaires.

A number of Harris’s donations came from executives and employees of big tech corporations, as Breitbart News reported at the time.

By August 2019, seven Facebook executives and employees had donated $1,000 or more to Harris’s campaign, nearly 20 Google executives and employees had donated more than $1,000, four Twitter executives and employees had donated more than $1,000, and 71 Amazon executives and employees had donated anywhere from $5 to $2,000.

Notably, Harris took donations from Impossible Foods president Dennis Woodside, LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, and Salesforce chairman Marc Benioff.

Despite a lack of enthusiasm and support among primary voters, Harris’s campaign was propped up by a base of elite coastal donors, with less than 40 percent of her funding coming from small-dollar donors giving $200 or less as of October 2019.

On Tuesday, Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden confirmed Harris as his vice presidential pick. In a statement, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) called Harris a “champion for hardworking families everywhere.”

Report: Facebook Manually Censored NY Post Biden Corruption Bombshell

TOM CICCOTTA

A report published this week alleges that Facebook manually censored the New York Post bombshell story about Biden family corruption.  According to the Guardian, Facebook moderators manually overrode the platform’s automatic processes to censor the Post, an effort that successfully censored about half of the engagement the article would have received, according to researchers.

According to a report by the Guardian, internal documents from Facebook suggest that the platform intentionally restricted the distribution of a New York Post report that allegedly revealed ties between Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and a Ukrainian energy company. The suppression was not automatic or based on Facebook’s AI and algorithmic approach to content, but rather done by hand by Facebook moderators.

This does not come as a surprise as some Facebook executives announced their decision to restrict the distribution of the report. In a tweet, Facebook’s Policy Communications Director Andy Stone said that the story would be restricted in some form on the platform.

“While I will intentionally not link to the New York Post, I want be clear that this story is eligible to be fact checked by Facebook’s third-party fact checking partners. In the meantime, we are reducing its distribution on our platform,” Stone wrote in a tweet on October 14.

While I will intentionally not link to the New York Post, I want be clear that this story is eligible to be fact checked by Facebook's third-party fact checking partners. In the meantime, we are reducing its distribution on our platform.

— Andy Stone (@andymstone) October 14, 2020

According to an internal Facebook policy, the platform will remove “unverified rumors” that could lead to violence, harm, or voter interference. It is not clear how this policy is applied by Facebook.

“Generally, we take action on misinformation rated by fact-checking partners by reducing its spread and surfacing more information to people,” the policy reads. “However, we will remove misinformation if it violates our Community Standards, including misinformation and unverified rumors that could contribute to the risk of imminent violence or physical harm, voter and census interference content, and certain manipulated videos…”

Facebook’s censorship of the Post was deemed successful by social media engagement experts that examined the decision. They found that the Post‘s bombshell article only reached about half the engagement it would have been expected to reach on its own. Mark Zuckerberg denied censoring the Post during his recent testimony to the Senate Commerce Committee.

Breitbart News reported over the weekend that Twitter has finally reinstated the Twitter account belonging to the New York Post. The newspaper was locked out of their account on October 14 following the publication of the Hunter Biden story.

Stay tuned to Breitbart News for more updates on this story.

Wall Street Praises Kamala Harris as Joe Biden’s VP: ‘What’s Not to Like?’

JOHN BINDER

Wall Street executives are praising Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden’s choosing Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) as his running mate against President Trump, feeling they dodged a bullet from a progressive insurgency.

In interviews with the Wall Street JournalCNBC, and Bloomberg, executives on Wall Street expressed relief that Biden picked Harris for vice president on the Democrat ticket, calling her a “normal Democrat” who is a “safe” choice for the financial industry.

Morgan Stanley Vice Chairman Tom Nides told Bloomberg that across Wall Street, Harris joining Biden “was exceptionally well-received.”

“How damn cool is it that a Black woman is considered the safe and conventional candidate,” Nides said.

Peter Soloman, the founder of a multinational investment banking firm, told Bloomberg he believes Harris is “a great pick” because she is “safe, balanced, a woman, diverse, what’s not to like?”

As the Journal notes, many on Wall Street see Harris is another conscious decision by the Democrat establishment to stave off populist priorities to reform Wall Street:

To some Wall Street executives, Ms. Harris’s selection signals a more moderate shift for the Democratic Party, which its progressive flank has pushed to the left in recent years. [Emphasis added]

“While Kamala is a forceful, passionate and eloquent standard-bearer for the aspirations of all Americans, regardless of their race, gender or age, she is not doctrinaire or rigid,” said Brad Karp, chairman of law firm Paul Weiss, who co-led a committee of lawyers across the country who supported Ms. Harris during the primary. [Emphasis added]

Marc Lasry, CEO of Avenue Capital Group, called Harris a “great” pick for Biden. “She’s going to help Joe immensely. He picked the perfect partner,” Lasry told CNBC.

Executives at Citigroup and Centerview Partners made similar comments about Harris to CNBC and the Journal, calling her a “great choice” and “direct but constructive.”

Founder of financial consulting firm Kynikos Associates Jim Chanos was elated in an interview with Bloomberg over Harris joining Biden on the Democrat ticket:

“She’s terrific,” said Chanos, founder of Kynikos Associates. “She’s got force of personality in a good way. She takes over a room. She certainly has a charisma and a presence which will be an asset on the campaign.” [Emphasis added]

Harris is no stranger to praise from Wall Street executives. In the 2019 Democrat presidential primary, Harris won over a number of financial industry donors, even holding a fundraiser in Iowa that was backed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

While criticizing “the people who have the most” in Democrat primary debates, Harris raked in thousands in campaign cash from financial executives from firms such as the Blackstone Group, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, and Wells Fargo.

This month, the New York Times admitted the “wallets of Wall Street are with Joe Biden” in a gushing headline about the financial industry’s opposition to Trump:

Financial industry cash flowing to Mr. Biden and outside groups supporting him shows him dramatically out-raising the president, with $44 million compared with Mr. Trump’s $9 million.

Harris’s views on trade and immigration, two of the most consequential issues to Wall Street, are in lockstep with financial executives’ objective to grow profit margins and add consumers to the market.

On trade, Harris has balked at Trump’s imposition of tariffs on foreign imports from China, Mexico, Canada, and Europe — using the neoliberal argument that tariffs should not be used to pressure foreign countries to buy more American-made goods and serve as only a tax on taxpayers.

Likewise, the Biden-Harris plan for national immigration policy — which seeks to drive up legal and illegal immigration levels to their highest levels in decades — offers a flooded labor market with low wages for U.S. workers and increased bargaining power for big business that has long been supported by Wall Street.

Sold Out: How High-Tech Billionaires & Bipartisan Beltway Crapweasels Are ScrewingAmerica's Best & Brightest

By Michelle Malkin and John Miano
Hardcover, ISBN: 1501115944, $16.80

http://smile.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1501115944/centerforimmigra

Kindle, 10644 KB, ASIN: B00VBW3SYQ, $14.99

Book Description: The #1 New York Times bestselling author and firebrand syndicated columnist Michelle Malkin sets her sights on the corrupt businessmen, politicians, and lobbyists flooding our borders and selling out America’s best and brightest workers.

In Sold Out, Michelle Malkin and John Miano reveal the worst perpetrators screwing America’s high-skilled workers, how and why they’re doing it—and what we must do to stop them. In this book, they will name names and expose the lies of those who pretend to champion the middle class, while aiding and abetting massive layoffs of highly skilled American workers in favor of cheap foreign labor. Malkin and Miano will explode some of the most commonly told myths spread in the media like these:

Lie #1: America is suffering from an apocalyptic “shortage” of science, technology, engineering, and math workers.

Lie #2: US companies cannot function without an unlimited injection of the most “highly skilled” and “highly educated” foreign workers, who offer intellectual capital and entrepreneurial energy that American workers can’t match.

Lie #3: America’s best and brightest talents are protected because employers are required to demonstrate that they’ve made every effort to hire American citizens before resorting to foreign labor.

For too long, open-borders tech billionaires and their political

enablers have escaped tough public scrutiny of their means and

motives. Sold Out is an indictment of not only political corruption

in Washington, but also the journalistic malpractice that enables it.

It’s time to trade the whitewash for solvent. American workers

deserve better and the public deserves the unvarnished truth.

Tech Elites Endorse Joe Biden to Secure More Foreign Workers for U.S. Jobs

JOHN BINDER

Tech industry elites have endorsed Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden, citing their opposition to President Trump’s efforts to prioritize Americans for high-paying tech jobs in the United States.

Twenty-four winners of the Turing Award, considered the Nobel Peace Prize for computer science, have endorsed Biden on the premise that the former vice president will allow the tech industry to import more foreign workers, specifically those on H-1B visas, to fill coveted U.S. jobs.

The list includes Google executive Vinton Cerf, Pixar executive Ed Catmull, Facebook executive Yann LeCun, and Alphabet executive John Hennessy.

“Information technology is thoroughly globalized. Academic computer science departments attract talented students, many of whom immigrate and become American inventors and captains of industry,” the executives and industry insiders wrote in their endorsement of Biden:

We celebrate open source projects, the lifeblood of our field, as exemplars of international collaboration. Computer Science is at its best when its learnings and discoveries are shared freely in the spirit of progress. These core values helped make America a leader in information technology, so vital in this Information Age. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris listen to experts before setting public policy, essential when science and technology may help with many problems facing our nation today. As American computer scientists and as US citizens, we enthusiastically endorse Joe Biden for President and Kamala Harris for Vice President. [Emphasis added]

Since mass unemployment hit the U.S., spurred by the Chinese coronavirus crisis, Trump signed an executive order halting a number of visa programs including the H-1B visa. Likewise, the Trump administration is eyeing H-1B visa reforms that would more effectively weed out the business model of outsourcing that has allowed American workers to be replaced by foreign H-1B visa workers.

Mark Zuckerberg: ‘There Is a Risk of Civil Unrest Across the Country

LUCAS NOLAN

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg told analysts on a recent conference call with analysts that he believes there could be “civil unrest” across the country following the presidential election.

ZDNet reports that during a conference call with analysts, Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated that the social media giant plants to post notices at the top of users’ news feeds on November 3 discrediting claims by either U.S. presidential candidate that they have won the election if the site deems the announcement premature.

Zuckerberg stated: “If any candidate or campaign tries to declare victory before the final results are called, we will put a notification to the top of People’s Facebook and Instagram feed letting them know the results aren’t final yet and we’ll put an informational label on the candidate’s post.”

Zuckerberg added that Facebook was taking the initiative as “There is a risk of civil unrest across the country, and given this, companies like ours need to go well beyond what we’ve done before.”

Discussing Facebook’s various efforts around the election, Zuckerberg stated that the site “helped 4.4 million people register [to vote] exceeding the goal that we set for ourselves this summer.”

Facebook has also paused all new political ads on its site for this week, Zuckerberg commented on this stating: “We’re doing this because while I generally believe that the best antidote to bad speech is more speech, in the final days of an election, there may simply not be enough time to contest new claims.”

Breitbart News recently reported that Facebook revealed in a blog post that a number of political ads were “improperly” restricted due to a technical error as the company attempted to prevent new political ads from being posted ahead of the November 3 election. Facebook stated that “technical flaws” caused a number of ads to be “paused improperly.”

Facebook stated that it has “implemented changes to fix these issues” and most of the advertisements were now running without any issues. Facebook stopped accepting new ads related to political issues on Tuesday and stated that it would allow pre-existing ads to run during that period but would block any adjustments to the ads’ content or design.

In today's election, yours is a choice between

freedom and globalism

By Mark Christian

I know something about both freedom and globalism.  What I know is that you cannot have both, which is why I immigrated to America, the world's last stronghold of freedom.

In the way of background, I grew up in a prominent Muslim family in Egypt and became an imam at an early age.  Like Christianity, Islam is a global religion.  Unlike Christianity, Islam imposes an imperial global vision on true believers and denies them freedom of thought and movement.

Progressive globalism does much the same.  Although Islam and progressivism would seem to have nothing in common, they do share one overriding goal: the need to crush traditional American Christianity, the one obstacle to world dominance in either case.  At some point, Islam and progressivism will part ways, but for now, they are content to "coexist."

Progressive leaders turn a blind eye to the slaughter of Christians at a church in France or the shooting of a priest in another church or the beheading of a French teacher for daring to show a picture of Mohammed, the prophet of Islam.  In countries like France, leftists have been responsible for as much church vandalism as Muslims, maybe more.  For now, the left and Islam are allies.  The result of the failed immigration policies and the rabid push of atheism by most European governments has made their combined mayhem possible.

The mayhem has been papered over with lies, which is why Joe Biden makes such a perfect front man for the global elites.  Biden has lied about almost everything in his life.  Where to begin?

Biden lied about his undergraduate degree and his

majors, lied about his rank in law school, lied

aboutscholarships and educational aid he had

received, lied about his stance toward the Vietnam

war while in college, lied about his plagiarism of

other politician's writings and speeches, lied about

the circumstances around his first wife's fatal

accident, lied about how he met his second and

current wife, and lied about the affair they were

having when they were both married.

Joe Biden is the embodiment of the dark side of

American politics.

When the Vietnam war ended, and our troops needed funding to evacuate gracefully, Joe Biden stood in the way.  His obstruction led to Saigon's fall and the disgraceful flight of American troops and personnel off the American embassy's rooftop in Vietnam.

When President Ford pleaded with Congress to help the Vietnamese refugees, the ones who were aiding Americans during the war, Joe Biden stood in the way.  Even though many of these refugees were orphan children, Joe Biden called them criminals and prostitutes on the Senate floor.

Most recently and dramatically, Biden lied

about his knowledge of his son's shady dealings,

lied about his own involvement in corruption

and bribery, and lied about his current

presidential agenda and what he wants to

implement in regards to energy, fracking, court-

packing, health care, education, and COVID

among other issues.

Biden has lied about so much that I am not sure if he ever told the truth or is now even capable of doing so.  Thanks to Big Tech's and Big Media's suppression of his record, he can present himself as a man of character and high morals.  We must feel sorry for the multitude of gullible Americans who believe him.

Do not be a fool and believe for a second that the elites hate Trump because of his tweets or because he is allegedly a sexist, a rapist, a racist, or a foreign agent.  Nor do they hate him because of the pandemic death toll.

In reality, the elites hate Trump because of "YOU," because you elected a man they did not nominate and could not control.  I have never seen global anticipation for an American election like this one.  The world is watching.  The progressive and Islamic elites are pulling for Biden, but lovers of freedom all over the world are quietly cheering for Trump.  If you have yet to vote, be sure to vote today and give them something to cheer about.

Image: Biden the globalist by Andrea Widburg.

Likewise, the Biden-Harris plan for national

immigration policy — which seeks to drive up

legal and illegal immigration levels to their

highest levels in decades — offers a flooded

labor market with low wages for U.S. workers

and increased bargaining power for big

business that has long been supported by Wall

 Street.

WATCH — Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Launches Documentary: ‘Midnight at the Border’

LOS ANGELES, California — Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. launched a short documentary film on Thursday about his trip to the southern U.S. border last month, highlighting an issue few other Democrats have dared to touch.

As Breitbart News reported at the time, Kennedy visited the border near Yuma, Arizona, at the dead of night, arriving without fanfare so that the scene would not be sanitized in preparation for his visit. A guide informed him that he and Sen. Mark Kelley (D-AZ) were the only two Democrats who had visited the border to see firsthand what is going on under the Biden administration.

The documentary, a 19-minute film, was released at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills before an audience of several hundred local supporters of the Kennedy campaign, along with members of the media.

The film shows Kennedy meeting, and speaking with, migrants from all over the world, including Africa and Asia — only one of whom was seeking asylum. The rest, he said, were economic migrants seeking a better life for themselves and their families.

Kennedy, who is fluent in Spanish, is shown speaking to migrants from Spanish-speaking countries — though there are many migrants from other parts of the world as well. He hears, firsthand, their stories of distress and dislocation along their journey.

He also tours gaps in the border wall (or fence) that were left behind when President Joe Biden dropped former President Donald Trump’s program to build a physical barrier, along with patrol roads and electronic sensors, to stop the flow of illegal migrants.

Kennedy is also shown learning about sexual assaults committed against women and children on the journey to the border, including both girls and boys.

He says at the conclusion of the documentary that he has learned that the current U.S. border policy is just a way of funding “a multibillion-dollar drug and human trafficking operation” to benefit the Mexican cartels. He promises, if elected, to seal the border, while allowing pathways to legal immigration.

Former TV news anchor Bob Jimenez, who accompanied Kennedy to the border, introduced the documentary. He said that it exposed “the lie that has been told to us” about the border, and about what happens to the immigrants “who are in harm’s way, all the way,” while the cartels get “richer and fatter every year” because “our southern border in open.”

The documentary was produced internally by the Kennedy campaign.

In remarks following the film, Kennedy declared, to applause, that “a country cannot exist if it can’t secure its borders.” He said that unlike other candidates who had approached the issue with “xenophobia,” he would do so through “compassion.”

He framed the issue not as one of immigrants’ rights — which he respected — but as the self-enrichment of the cartels.

Kennedy confessed to having had a change of heart on the issue, after learning more about the border.

“I was against Trump’s wall. I thought it was a crazy idea,” Kennedy admitted.

He said he still believed that the U.S. did not need a wall along the entire border — “the 2000 miles from Brownsville to San Diego” — partly because of natural barriers.

“But we do need something.”

He said that he would use a physical barrier for part of the border, and restore electronic surveillance of the boundary where it had been abandoned. He added that the U.S. had to work more effectively with Latin American countries to stop the migration.

Does the U.S. Labor Market Really “Need” Immigrants?
Oren Cass discusses immigration through an economic lens

Washington, D.C. (August 3, 2023) – Permissive legal and illegal immigration policies have been shown to hurt the working class in America the most. Yet, the media and corporate America often repeat the myth that there are certain jobs Americans won’t do, and that the U.S. is experiencing a labor shortage. They conclude, therefore, that we need immigrants to fill these gaps, which are predominantly in less-skilled fields.

On this episode of Parsing Immigration Policy, Oren Cass, executive director of American Compass and author of The Once and Future Worker, joins guest host Steven Camarota, the Center’s director of research, to debunk these myths about the need for immigrants to enter the U.S. labor force. In reality, giving employers access to immigrant labor (both legal and illegal) suppresses wages and removes the incentive for employers to improve working conditions for Americans.

Cass and Camarota discuss the difference in how policymakers and business leaders approach less-skilled labor versus more-skilled, due in large part to an addiction to cheap consumption. Current visa programs benefit consumers and employers with lower prices while hurting the American worker, and Cass notes that very low unemployment rates and rising wages are identified as a problem only when the working class experience them.

Cass argues that our government should take steps to reduce illegal immigration and the best way to do this is to make it costly for employers to employ those not authorized to work. Illegal immigrants compete with the most vulnerable Americans and depress wages. The two experts agree that E-Verify, an internet-based system that allows an employer to determine a new hire’s eligibility to work, is a key tool for influencing employers.

In discussing legal immigration, Cass prefers the number of legal immigrants admitted to our country yearly remain the same, but he contends that the types of legal immigrants we are accepting should change – high-skilled, high-earning immigrants should be emphasized, as they will in turn create better employment opportunities for working-class Americans.

Camarota and Cass close out the podcast with a discussion on the importance of training Americans for these higher-skilled jobs as opposed to expanding the labor supply by importing high-skilled immigrants.

Mexican President Mocks Texas Governor Over DOJ’s Border-Barrier Lawsuit

Mexico’s President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador mocked Texas Governor Greg Abbott this week over the recent lawsuit filed by the U.S. Department of Justice against the state seeking the removal of various border barriers including buoys and fencing.

During his morning news conference, Lopez Obrador talked about the recent lawsuit filed by the DOJ against Texas seeking the removal of various border barriers. As Breitbart Texas reported, Abbott ordered the placement of buoys and various other barriers claiming that the administration of U.S. President Joe Biden was not doing anything to stop illegal immigration or drug trafficking.

“We celebrate that Biden is presenting this complaint because it is not his (Abbott’s) to meddle in international affairs,” Lopez Obrador said. “It is the faculty of the federal executive. States are not supposed to have any type of accords with foreign nations. But we have to look at it for what it is, it’s a publicity stunt.”

In his conference, Lopez Obrador said that people from Texas and Mexico are supposed to be united, and the fencing promotes division instead of fostering unity.

“He (Abbott) is doing everything for votes,” Lopez Obrador said. “I think it’s going to be counterproductive for him. I don’t think people are going to vote for him. They are NOT going to vote for him.”

Lopez Obrador said that Texas has a large population of Hispanic descent and a large population of migrants from Latin American countries who will vote against Abbott.

As Breitbart Texas reported, Lopez Obrador has called for Hispanics to oppose Republican politicians such as Abbott and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis over their stances on immigration and border security. The Mexican politician has even called for Hispanics in the US to vote against those politicians.
