Philly Looting Livestreamer Did NOT Enjoy Jail
Target Closes Stores in 4 Democrat-Run, Crime-Ravaged, Anti-Police Hellholes – After Warning It Would
Target warned in December that it would close stores if conditions in locations ravaged by violence, crime and theft didn’t improve – and, on Tuesday, it announced that it is doing just that.
The nine closures are all in one of four cities:
- Portland (3)
- San Francisco (3)
- Seattle (2)
- New York City (1)
These cities have at least three things in common:
- All four are run by Democrat mayors,
- All four indulged mobs that seized and vandalized public property and government buildings during the so-called “Occupy” movement,
- All four took part in the “Defund the Police” movement.
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) noted some of the similarities in a social media post back in April. “New York City. Portland. San Francisco. All seeing businesses close down because of crime. All run by Democrats,” Jordan tweeted, linking to news of how, and why, a major retailer closed a San Francisco outlet this week.
“If New York City is the ‘safest big city in America,’ then why are so many people leaving?” Rep. Jordan asked in a follow-up tweet.
In its unsuccessful effort to keep the stores open in the four crime-coddling cities, Target had taken several steps, including:
- Locking merchandise in cases,
- Hiring guard services,
- Training store leaders to handle potentially-dangerous situations, and
- Investing in cyber defense to stop fraud and organized crime.
“Despite our efforts, unfortunately, we continue to face fundamental challenges to operating these stores safely and successfully,” Target said Tuesday in a press release.
In December, Target reported that shoplifting at its stores had increased approximately fifty percent nationally, reducing the chain’s gross margin by more than $400 million from the previous year, with profit losses projected to hit $600 million by the end of the company’s fiscal year.
Other major national chains, such as Starbucks, Whole Foods Market, Walmart, and Nordstrom, are also closing stores in cities, due to the rampant lawlessness.
As the Daily Mail explains:
“Progressive district attorneys in cities like Chicago, New York, Portland and California have also been blamed for effectively legalizing shoplifting with either not prosecuting thefts under $950, or letting criminals off with a slap on the wrist.”

Democrat-run Philadelphia endured a second night of mass looting on Wednesday, and video footage shows the chaos at local businesses.
Law enforcement said over 50 people were arrested after the apparently organized groups hit several areas, breaking into stores and stealing, Fox News reported Thursday.
Video footage shows some in the groups leaving stores while carrying black bags filled with items. At one point, several individuals step out of a broken window with bottles of what appears to be alcohol in their arms.
“Oh yeah, the cops coming,” one person is heard saying from behind the camera as the looting continues:
“Suspects also ransacked more than a dozen state-run liquor stores so thoroughly that the state announced it was closing its Philly locations until further notice,” Fox reported, adding that approximately 52 people were arrested as a result and face charges including burglary and theft among others.
On Tuesday night, several businesses in Philadelphia were looted by a group of over 100 juveniles, according to Breitbart News.
“The excuse for all this? A Philly judge dropped the manslaughter charges against a cop who shot a driver. Bodycam footage showed that the driver was hiding a knife,” Breitbart’s John Nolte wrote.
“The officer says he only saw the knife’s black handle and believed it was a gun. The defense said the charges never should’ve been filed, the judge agreed, and the mostly peaceful looting began,” he added.
The New York Post shared video footage of the chaos on Tuesday showing police officers trying to catch some of the individuals. One person off camera is heard cackling while watching the scene unfold:
The clip also shows looters entering an Apple Store while the individual recording shouts, “Free iPhones! Free iPhones!” Moments later, sirens are heard in the background.
Pharmacist and store manager of Patriot Pharmacy Benjamin Nochum said his business was targeted Wednesday, making it the third time in the past few years.
“When looters steal from us, what they don’t seem to understand is that they are also stealing from our neighbors. It makes you question how much longer you can hang on,” he stated.
