Planned Parenthood improperly took tens of millions of dollars' worth of government loans intended to help businesses during the coronavirus, according to a group of Republicans who want to see the organization investigated.
House lawmakers accused Planned Parenthood of unlawfully using the Small Business Administration's COVID-response program, the Paycheck Protection Program, to obtain millions of dollars in taxpayer funds. Reps. Blaine Luetkemeyer (R., Mo.) and Byron Donalds (R., Fla.) wrote that the Committee on Small Business is calling for the Department of the Treasury and the Small Business Administration to investigate the organization's actions.
"We insist that the SBA and the Department of the Treasury investigate 1.) the distribution of these loans in violation of the relevant affiliation rules and 2.) whether Planned Parenthood violated the law," the lawmakers wrote in a Friday letter.
In May 2020, the multibillion-dollar organization came under fire for taking $80 million in small-business assistance loans. Planned Parenthood said that its local affiliates qualified for the assistance. The Small Business Administration, however, demanded the money be returned, saying local branches were too closely associated with the national organization to be considered independent. Now, GOP lawmakers are looking for answers as to whether or not the organization broke the law.
"At a time where small-business owners are working tirelessly to open their doors and contribute to their communities again, we must ensure the SBA is using relief funding for its intended purpose—assisting our nation’s hardest hit small businesses, not America’s most tragic abortion provider," Luetkemeyer told the Free Beacon . "The SBA must immediately investigate Planned Parenthood’s blatant violation of the rules to ensure guidelines are followed and American taxpayer dollars are protected."
The letter comes as President Joe Biden's Department of Health and Human Services threw open the door for taxpayer-funded abortion. The department unveiled new rules concerning Title X family planning funding that reversed Trump administration policies limiting taxpayer funding for abortion providers. Donalds said taxpayer dollars should not be used to subsidize abortion providers.
"Planned Parenthood—the nation's most notorious abortion provider that has an estimated $2 billion in assets and over 16,000 employees—receiving taxpayer dollars through the Paycheck Protection Program is extremely concerning," he said.
Planned Parenthood defended the loans and accused congressional Republicans of focusing on "baseless political attacks" and targeting centers that "provide essential health care."
"Like many other local nonprofits and health care providers, the independent Planned Parenthood 501(c)(3) organizations who were awarded PPP loans met the eligibility requirements established by both Congress and the Small Business Administration," said Jacqueline Ayers, vice president of government relations and public policy for Planned Parenthood for America.
The Trump administration made changes to the Title X family planning program designed to limit the amount of taxpayer funding for abortion providers. Planned Parenthood withdrew from the program rather than comply with limitations on abortion referrals, forgoing approximately $60 million in annual federal funding.
The HHS rules are expected to take months to implement but will effectively return Title X funding policy to its pre-Trump status. Senate Republicans ripped Biden for allowing the abortion industry to profit from his presidency.
"President Biden took millions from the abortion industry during his campaign," Sen. Steve Daines (R., Mont.) said. "Now, Planned Parenthood is cashing in."

Blacks make up slightly less than 13% of the American population – a percentage that’s diminishing daily as the Biden administration floods the country with illegal aliens from Latin America. However, Blacks are also doing their bit to keep their presence in American relatively small: They’re aborting their babies in extraordinary numbers. CNS News caught up with CDC statistics for 2018, based on data from only 31 reporting areas. They show that 117,626 Black children were aborted – or 33.6% of all reported 2018 abortions.
According to CNS News :
In the CDC report Abortion Surveillance -- United States, 2018 , released in November 2020, Table 5 shows, “Reported abortions, by known race/ethnicity and reporting area of occurrence — selected reporting areas,* United States, 2018.”
As the Table explains, “* Data from 31 reporting areas; excludes 21 reporting areas (California, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York City, New York State, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Wisconsin, and Wyoming) that did not report, did not report by race/ethnicity, or did not meet reporting standards.”
Nonetheless, the data show that from the 31 reporting areas, 117,626 of the surgical abortions in 2018 were of black children, which equals 33.6% of the total abortions.
For white children, 135,328 were killed by abortion (38.7% of total); Hispanics, 70,195 (20% of total); and Other, 26,975 abortions (7.7% of total).
In other words, it’s a virtual certainty that more than 117,626 Black children were aborted, although it’s uncertain if they continued to represent a disproportionate number of total abortions. Nevertheless, it’s numbers such as these, combined with seeing my children’s ultrasounds, that turned me from being pro-Choice (I was raised a Democrat in the San Francisco Bay Area) to pro-Life. The Democrats’ relentless obsession with abortion has turned the Democrat party into a death cult and I want no part of it.
While Democrats once spoke about making abortion “safe, rare, and legal,” in the past two decades they’ve elevated abortion to a sort of Holy Grail status within the party. For most of the Democrat women I’ve known, abortion is the one issue on which they have no flexibility. They’re blind to the hypocrisy of weeping over illegal alien children in Trump’s cages (Biden’s cages don’t trouble them) while encouraging the annual death of hundreds of thousands of human lives.
Although the CDC information was released in November, CNS News only reported it now, which is why I’m getting to it now. Still, I think the timing is actually excellent. With the Derek Chauvin trial wrapping up in Minneapolis, BLM is again gearing up to use Black deaths as the cudgel by which they’ll beat American Blacks into a riotous, often murderous, frenzy that leftists hope will finally, once and for all, bring our country to its knees.
Even as leftists beat that drum, though, they’re unperturbed by the annual deaths of over a hundred thousand Black infants and are doing nothing to stop the slaughter of Black children in Democrat-run, gun-controlled, urban neighborhoods. The people who should care most about the welfare of children in the Black community are the mothers. 1. Waters is reprimanded by a judge for inciting unrest during an ongoing criminal trial
Waters has recently been in the news for encouraging protesters in Minnesota to “get more confrontational” if Derek Chauvin is acquitted of murder charges for the death of George Floyd.
Judge Peter Cahill, who is presiding over the trial, said on the day of counsel’s closing arguments that her remarks were “abhorrent” and “may result in the whole trial being overturned”:

I’m aware that Congresswoman Waters was talking specifically about this trial and about the unacceptability of anything less than a murder conviction, talked about being confrontational… I wish elected officials would stop talking about this case, especially in a manner that is disrespectful to the rule of law, and to the judicial branch and our function. I think if they want to give their opinions, they should do so in a respectful, and in a manner that is respectful to the Constitution, to respect the co-equal branch of government. Their failure to do so, I think, is abhorrent.
In addition, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy told Breitbart News Monday he will formally move to censure Waters “over her call to violence in Minnesota,” Breitbart News’ Matt Boyle reported . If just a handful of Democrats cross the aisle and the censure resolution passes, she will be stripped of her duties as the chairwoman of the House Financial Services Committee.
2. Waters lives outside her congressional district
Republican Joe Collins campaigned against Waters during the 2020 cycle and highlighted that Waters does not even live in the district she represents.
“Do you know where I am right now? Maxine Waters’ six million-dollar mansion,” Collins says in an ad. “Do you know where I’m not right now? Maxine Waters’ district.”
“She has a very nice community, she has a really big house – and that’s just one of three or four house that she has,” he also told Fox News. “And meanwhile, she comes to the inner city and preaches the message of hatred, and a message of us vs. them.”

3. Waters calls for public harassment of White House officials
In 2018, Waters suggested people should be harassing and protesting then-president Donald Trump’s Cabinet officials at stores, restaurants, and gas stations.
“I have no sympathy for these people that are in this administration who know it’s wrong for what they’re doing on so many fronts. They tend to not want to confront this president or even leave, but they know what they’re doing is wrong,” Waters said.
“I want to tell you, these members of his cabinet who remain and try to defend him, they won’t be able to go to a restaurant, they won’t be able to stop at a gas station, they’re not going to be able to shop at a department store,” she continued.
“The people are going to turn on them. They’re going to protest. They’re going to absolutely harass them until they decide that they’re going to tell the president, ‘No, I can’t hang with you.’ This is wrong. This is unconscionable. We can’t keep doing this to children,” she concluded.
4. Waters claims God sent her to stop Donald Trump
Later that same year, Waters addressed the First African Methodist Episcopal Church in Los Angeles, claiming she was sent to Washington by God to obstruct Trump.
“You’ve gotta know that I’m here to do the work that I was sent to do, and as pastor said to me when I came in this morning, when God sends you to do something, you just do it!” she said .
“So I have a message: I’m going back to Washington tomorrow morning, I’m going to tell them pastor told me to come here and just do it!” she proclaimed.
“I’m not about to sit quietly and allow the President of the United States, or anybody else, to undo all that has been done to make this a great country,” she concluded.
5. Waters gets pranked by Russian trolls posing as Greta Thunberg
Waters presumably spoke with two Russians impersonating Greta Thunberg and her father after her staff believed they have connected with the Swedish climate change activist, Breitbart News’ Kristina Wong reported.
A woman who identifies herself as Congresswoman Waters tells “Greta”: “Of course, I know all about you. You have made quite a big, big, big thunder on this issue. I am really, really very proud of you and the work that you’re doing.”
The prank callers trick Waters into making a statement in defense of the environment of an imaginary island named “Chunga Changa.”
The call gets more farcical when “Greta” tells Waters that she met Trump at the United Nations, where he privately insulted her and confessed to threatening Ukraine’s president.
“He came over, he leaned towards me, and said softly, ‘Listen to me very carefully, little girl, you will never achieve your goals,’” “Greta” says.
“He said you will never achieve your goals? Oh my goodness!” Waters exclaims, stunned. “Greta” then says that she cried. “Oh my God did you cry?” Waters exclaims.
6. Waters compares Trump to “Kim Jong-Oom” and “Validimore Putin”
Waters spoke in San Diego in February 2018 and compared Trump to North Korea and Russia’s dictators, botching the heads of state’s names along the way.

7. Waters propagated “BlueAnon” conspiracy theories about Trump and Russia
In the clip immediately above, the congresswoman insinuated that Trump is “compromised” by Putin — a far-left conspiracy theory that has since been proven false. In January 2019, Waters speculated about a Trump-Russia scheme during the 2016 election, even admitting “I don’t have the proof” to substantiate any portion of the claims.
8. Waters says she has never seen police brutality against white Americans
During a new conference in 2002, Waters said of her social justice cause that there is a disparity between the policing of white and back people.
“I don’t see white police officers slamming the heads of little white boys into police cars,” Waters said .
“I haven’t seen them abusing white males. What I see is white police officers abusing black males, and young black males particularly. Yes, I believe it’s racially motivated,” she added.
9. Waters laments that her mother could not abort any of her 12 siblings
Waters, speaking of civil rights marches, alluded her mother could not have any of her children aborted. Waters is the fifth of 13 children.
“I have to march because my mother could not have an abortion,” she said .

A few weeks ago, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) asked Gestapo chief Merrick Garland, “Are you cultivating sources and spies in Latin Mass parishes and other Catholic parishes around the country?” Garland pleaded innocent, insisting, “No, the Justice Department does not do that and does not, uh, um, do investigations based on religion.” But it has now come to light — okay, get ready for the shock of your life — that Garland was lying. The feds did have informants in Catholic churches, snooping around and looking for evidence of that domestic terror threat that the Biden regime keeps insisting is the worst such threat we face today. Nor is there any indication that they’ve taken these spies out of the pews.
We all know that “domestic violent extremists,” a.k.a. “white supremacists,” are the biggest terror threat the nation faces today. After all, Old Joe Biden , Gestapo chief Merrick Garland , and the FBI have repeatedly told us so, and those sterling public servants wouldn’t lie to us, would they? In November 2021, FBI and Homeland Security Department officials increased investigations of “domestic extremists,” reiterating the claim that they are today’s foremost terror threat. The only problem with this was that there just weren’t enough “domestic violent extremists” to match the hysterical rhetoric, and so the FBI actually resorted to pressuring agents to inflate domestic extremism numbers, and even to fabricate such cases.
That imperative, plus the burning hatred that Catholic Joe’s regime clearly has for all forms of traditional Christianity and above all for pro-lifers, may have led to the fact that, as Fox News reported Monday, the FBI “recently sought to develop sources inside Christian churches and Catholic dioceses as part of an effort to combat domestic terrorism.” This is clear from internal FBI documents that the House Judiciary Committee released to the public on Monday.
The documents reveal that the FBI was attempting to use “mainline Catholic parishes” as “new avenues for tripwire and source development.” The feds wanted to educate sympathetic Catholics about “the warning signs of radicalization,” and then get them to help stop the rosary-praying terrorist by obtaining “their assistance to serve as suspicious activity tripwires.” This is nothing short of breathtaking in its resolute determination to construct a reality other than the one we happen to be living in. If there were a steady stream of terrorists routinely “radicalized” in Catholic churches and going out to bring the wrath of the Immaculate Heart of Mary upon the populace, there might be some justification for this program. As it is, it’s plain and simple harassment and scapegoating of Christians.
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) wrote to FBI top dog Christopher Wray on Monday, “Based on the limited information produced by the FBI to the Committee, we now know that the FBI relied on at least one undercover agent to produce its analysis, and that the FBI proposed that its agents engage in outreach to Catholic parishes to develop sources among the clergy and church leadership to inform on Americans practicing their faith.” He added, quite rightly, that “this information is outrageous and only reinforces the Committee’s need for all FBI material responsive to our request,” referring to material that the Committee had requested earlier but not received (and why not?).
Jordan added that what he had already received from the feds was bad enough: “The documents produced to date show how the FBI sought to enlist Catholic houses of worship as potential sources to monitor and report on their parishioners.” He felt it necessary to remind Wray, who likely thinks that Christians go to church on Sunday in order to plot hate crimes and figure out new ways to oppress brown people, of some basic truths: “Americans attend church to worship and congregate for their spiritual and personal betterment. They must be free to exercise their fundamental First Amendment rights without worrying that the FBI may have planted so-called ‘tripwire’ sources or other informants in their houses of worship.”
First Amendment rights? Come on, man! This is the Biden regime we’re talking about, the alleged administration that tried to institute a Disinformation Governance Board within the Department of Homeland Security and colluded with Twitter and the other social media giants to deplatform and silence dissidents. Does anyone really think they’re going to respect the freedom of religion?

There are years of evidence, including from Biden’s own daughter’s diary, that Biden is a pedophile or at least has pedophilic tendencies. Whenever he speaks of his deceased son Beau, who died of a brain tumor, he blames his death on the burn pits of Iraq where Beau served 2008 - 2009. That could be true. They nearly always occur in gun-free zones. These idiotic activists know this and do not care. They seem to be determined that only criminals have guns, as they most assuredly will if in a gun-free zone.
Joe Biden has been corrupt for all his years in Congress. What is so maddening is that everyone in Congress, in the DC world of politics, have always known this. They’ve all known he was rather dim, a racist (Strom Thurmond was his mentor), a plagiarist, and a consummate and compulsive liar. The list of his oft repeated, provable lies is too long to list but he was at it again while in Ireland this week; he has never “traveled 17k miles with Xi.” Clearly he can’t help himself; he has a serious pathological problem .
Biden is a dim bulb and the people who engineered his installation as president surely knew that. Whoever his handlers are, they committed many serious crimes, many breaches of the Constitution, to rig the election, secure in the knowledge that “they,” whoever they are, would be running the show. They surely knew that Biden is a schlump, an empty suit, a man without a moral core; a man they could manipulate and manipulate him they certainly have.
There is more than enough proof that Biden is indebted to China; his family has been fabulously enriched by the CCP’s purchase of his servility. He is indebted to Ukraine as well but is repaying their generosity by using the Ukrainian people as cannon fodder in his misguided proxy war against Putin.
Biden will go down in history as the most corrupt, the most nationally and globally disastrous and the dumbest President in American history. If we are to prevail as a constitutional republic, the American people better wake-up and fight for everything they cherish – family, freedom and basic human and civil rights – or it will be gone in the blink of an eye. It began with Obama and that crowd is determined to carry out their plan to transform America. They’ve been remarkably successful to the detriment of us all.

Biden is the most amoral President in US history

The President pretends to be Catholic but clearly does not live by Catholic tenets. He supports abortion up until the moment of birth. This past week, he sent a cease-and-desist letter to the priests who have been ministering to Catholic patients at Walter Reed Hospital. He intends to contract outside persons to provide Catholic ministry. While VP, he supported the persecution of the Little Sisters of the Poor for refusing to provide abortion services to their employees. In short, he is about as Catholic and Christian as Nancy Pelosi, another faux Catholic, a classic elitist who has nothing but contempt for actual Catholics, actual Christians.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) signed a bill into law late Thursday evening banning abortions after six weeks of pregnancy, which is around the time when a baby’s heartbeat can first be detected.
“We are proud to support life and family in the state of Florida,” DeSantis said in a statement. “I applaud the Legislature for passing the Heartbeat Protection Act that expands pro-life protections and provides additional resources for young mothers and families.”
The law, also called Senate Bill 300 (House Bill 7) , changes the state’s abortion law from 15 weeks to six weeks. The bill includes exceptions for rape, incest, human trafficking up to 15 weeks of pregnancy, preserving the life of the mother, or a fatal fetal abnormality in a pregnancy that has not entered the third trimester.
The legislation also requires abortions to be performed in person by a medical doctor or osteopathic physician, meaning medication abortion must be dispensed in person and not by mail.
The bill additionally includes $25 million to expand services provided by state-contracted crisis pregnancy centers. Some of these services include pregnancy testing and counseling as well as material assistance like clothing, car seats, cribs, formula, and diapers.
“In addition to legislating pro-family policies, this year’s Framework for Freedom Budget includes permanent sales tax exemptions for baby and toddler necessities, including cribs and strollers, as well as tax holidays on children’s books, toys, athletic equipment, and pet food,” DeSantis’ office said in a press release via email.
“It includes more than $96 million to support foster parents, caregivers, and children. It also includes nearly $143 million to enhance services for pregnant and postpartum women and children, which will improve maternal health outcomes for women at high risk for maternal morbidity.”
“While other states like California and New York have legalized infanticide up until birth, Governor DeSantis has enacted historic measures to defend the dignity of human life and transform Florida into a pro-family state,” his office continued.
The six-week ban will be on hold pending a ruling from the Florida Supreme Court on the constitutionality of the existing 15-week abortion law. DeSantis signed the 15-week ban into law after the state’s 2022 legislative session, and the law was swiftly challenged by pro-abortion groups and abortionists. However, parts of SB 300 will go into effect immediately, including the funding for pregnancy resource centers, a family planning program, and other parenting-related services.
DeSantis signed the bill the same day the Florida House passed the legislation 70-40 after seven hours of debate.
State Rep. Jenna Persons-Mulicka (R-Fort Myers), one of the bill’s sponsors, celebrated its passage, calling it a “historic moment.”
“Thank you, Governor, for signing the Heartbeat Protection Act! Proud to be part of this historic moment as Florida continues to stand for life and support our mothers and families!” Persons-Mulicka tweeted Friday morning.
The signing of a six-week abortion ban comes after Florida became an abortion destination state for surrounding southern states with stricter laws following the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision . As Breitbart News previously reported , 6,708 abortions were performed on out-of-state patients in 2022, up from 4,873 in 2021 and 3,988 in 2020 , according to state data.
The overall number of abortions has also grown as the state continues to grow in population. In 2022, there were 82,192 total abortions, 75,118 of which were in the first trimester and 7,074 in the second trimester, according to the AHCA. In 2021, there were 79,817 total abortions, 74,967 of which were in the first trimester and 4,850 in the second trimester. The year 2020 saw 74,868 total abortions, with 70,594 in the first trimester and 4,274 in the second trimester.
“Florida will no longer be the fifth highest abortion state in the nation thanks to the Heartbeat Protection Act,” Students for Life Action President Kristan Hawkins noted. “Thank you @GovRonDeSantis for having the courage to do the right thing. You are setting the standard for GOP and they should follow your lead.”
Planned Parenthood of Florida slammed DeSantis for signing legislation protecting the lives of unborn babies and called him a “coward.” The abortion giant affiliate also accused the female state lawmakers involved of serving “white men” and the “white patriarchy.”
However, former abortionist Dr. Kathi Aultman, who has since become pro-life, issued a statement via email celebrating the move.
“After performing hundreds of abortions, I know without hesitation that abortion after six weeks stops a beating heart. The cardiovascular system is the first organ system to function, and at this stage of development, the heart beats around 110 beats per minute. Research has shown that if a heartbeat is detected, a baby has more than a 90% chance of surviving to birth,” Aultman said.
“I wish this kind of protection had been in place when I chose to have my abortion. It would have saved my child and saved me a lifetime of regret,” she continued.
SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser also released a statement via email, calling the bill’s signing an “enormous victory in the battle for human rights.”
“No longer will Florida account for 10 percent of abortions in the nation or be known as an abortion destination. More moms who need financial and emotional support will get the help they need during pregnancy and after their child is born,” Dannenfelser said. “Most of all, tens of thousands of precious boys and girls will live and have the opportunity to pursue their dreams, bless the lives of others, and enhance Florida’s communities.”
“Gov. DeSantis has always been a bold pro-life voice, never flinching in the face of extremist opposition in order to stand proudly in defending Floridians,” she continued. “That’s why he, Florida’s Republican legislators and Attorney General Moody saw such overwhelming victories in the mid-term elections last year, and why the state of Florida is a shining example to others in the Dobbs era.”

Affiliates of the abortion giant Planned Parenthood are among the recipients of millions of dollars from the federal government aimed at preventing teen pregnancies.
President Joe Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced in late August that it is dumping another $23 million into the Office of Population Affairs’ (OPA) Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program (TPP) . HHS describes TPP as a “national, competitive program that provides funding to replicate and scale evidence-based programs and develop and evaluate new and innovative approaches to prevent unintentional teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) among adolescents, promote positive youth development, and advance equity in adolescent health.”
Among the 18 new “TPP Tier 2 Rigorous Evaluation Cooperative Agreement Awards,” is $1 million for the Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts. The population of focus and setting listed for the funds is “high school students; in-school.”
Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts’ website notably states that its “investment in education and outreach intentionally complements its delivery of expert sexual and reproductive health services,” which includes abortion.
“All the new interventions address gaps in the current evidence base and have the potential to contribute new evidence-based interventions for future implementation to scale through OPA’s TPP program,” said Jessica Swafford Marcella, HHS Deputy Assistant Secretary for Population Affairs. “These awards reflect the Biden-Harris administration’s commitment to both sexual and reproductive health and to prioritizing health equity.”
The 18 new Tier 2 projects are in addition to the 53 Tier 1 projects that the OPA announced in June of 2023 aimed at teen pregnancy. The initial funding for those TPP projects was $68.5 million through cooperative agreements in 29 states and Puerto Rico.

The awards to the Tier 2 organizations are for five-year project periods beginning September 15, 2023. The Tier 1 projects announced in June are also for five-year project periods, from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2028.
