“However, Hunter Biden’s defense team fails to mention that Kevin Morris quietly assumed that loan for Hunter Biden,” Comer added. “Why is Kevin Morris, who is a lawyer and Democrat donor, taking on Hunter Biden’s China debt? This raises serious ethical questions that the White House must answer.”

Joe Biden took 411 trips to several countries during his vice presidency. One of them transpired in 2013, when he went to Beijing under the “trappings” of a family vacation to meet Li. Ten days after that visit to China, Hunter Biden secured a ten percent interest in BHR Partners.

China Demands Biden Cave on Taiwan, Tech Restrictions for Meeting with Xi

The Chinese Communist Party, through its state media arms and Foreign Ministry, is demanding leftist President Joe Biden abandon support for the nation of Taiwan and lift restrictions on Chinese technology imports as a precursor to an expected meeting between Biden and dictator Xi Jinping in November.

Biden met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Friday to discuss, according to the White House, the “need to manage competition in the relationship responsibly” and “work[ing] together to address global challenges.” Multiple reports indicate that Biden used the opportunity to extend an invitation to Xi Jinping to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in November, scheduled to take place in San Francisco, California.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry told reporters on Monday that Wang discussed an “upcoming meeting in San Francisco” between Xi and Biden, but emphasized that there was no guarantee that Xi would show up.

“I want to stress that it won’t be plain sailing to San Francisco, nor can we leave it to autopilot to get us there,” spokesman Wang Wenbin said. “Both sides need to earnestly return to what was agreed in Bali, act on the common understandings of the two Presidents, rise above disruptions, overcome obstacles, expand common understandings and accumulate outcomes.”

November will mark one year since Xi and Biden met in person. Their last encounter took place in Bali, Indonesia, during the G20 summit hosted there. Biden regularly boasts, using dubious statistics, his alleged close friendship and longstanding relationship with Xi. Most recently, last week, Biden claimed that he had visited Tibet with Xi and “spent a great deal of time with him one-on-one.”

Xi Jinping is one of the world’s most egregious human rights criminals, currently spearheading a genocide against the majority-Muslim Turkic populations of occupied East Turkistan (the “Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region”) and presiding over a pervasive crackdown on all religions featuring the destruction of churches and mosques, the mass arrests of the faithful, and the extermination of people affiliated with “illegal” spiritual movements such as the Falun Gong.

The Biden administration has prioritized attempting to maintain a friendly relationship with Xi, anyway, on the grounds that China is the world’s second-largest economy and too geopolitically influential to be in conflict against.

The Global Times, a Chinese government propaganda outlet, noted in an editorial on Foreign Minister Wang’s trip to Washington, DC, last week that a potential meeting between Xi and Biden was on the table. The outlet suggested that the meeting may not happen, however, if Biden did not submit to Chinese regime demands on two issues in particular: China’s false claims to ownership of the nation of Taiwan and China’s disapproval of tariffs on Chinese tech imports and subsidies for American companies developing semiconductors and other critical technology China wishes to dominate.

“[I]n areas such as economy, trade, and people-to-people exchanges, the US side can cancel the harmful and self-damaging tariffs on China and effectively remove various barriers to people-to-people exchanges between the two countries,” the editorial asserted. “In addition, the biggest challenge facing China-US relations is ‘Taiwan independence.’ The US side has repeatedly made clear commitments not to support ‘Taiwan independence.’ The extent to which these commitments can be translated into specific policies and actions also affects the credibility of the US itself.”
Taiwan is a sovereign state with a fully independent government and society from communist China. The island of Taiwan has never in its history been governed out of Beijing. Despite this, the Communist Party claims Taiwan is a “province” of communist China and refuses to maintain diplomatic ties with countries that recognize the reality of Taiwan’s existence. The United States, following a decision by former President Jimmy Carter, does not recognize Taiwan as a country, but sells Taiwan weapons and maintains informal exchanges with the country, outraging the Communist Party.

China regularly threatens to invade and colonize Taiwan, but has yet to mobilize to do so. Its threats are particularly hollow at the moment as, following a mysterious disappearance, Xi fired his defense minister and has yet to appoint anyone to the top defense position in the country.

The Global Times reported that Wang Yi had similarly warned Biden that failing to obey Beijing’s demands could jeopardize the meeting with Xi. Wang reportedly demanded Biden “truly implement the common understanding reached by the two leaders, remove disruption, overcome obstacles, build consensus, and accumulate outcomes.” Speaking to Biden’s National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, Wang reportedly said “that ‘Taiwan independence’ is the biggest threat to peace and stability … [and] must be firmly opposed with concrete policies and actions.”

The Global Times added that alleged Chinese “experts,” echoing Beijing’s talking points, interpreted Wang’s remarks as a “reminder to the US to rein in its toxic domestic politics that are highly antagonistic of China.” The “experts” complained in particular about Washington’s distant tolerance of Taiwan and limitations on Chinese tech companies’ access to American markets.

“The Biden administration is reducing the types of semiconductors that American companies can sell to China, citing the desire to close loopholes in existing regulations announced last year,” the state newspaper claimed. “Li Haidong, a professor at the China Foreign Affairs University, told the Global Times that the US should also rein in its toxic domestic politics that is highly confrontational against China.”

Under both Biden and his predecessor Donald Trump, the United States has moved to limit Chinese companies’ access to American markets in response to a variety of security concerns, including intellectual property theft, Chinese technology companies working hand-in-hand with the People’s Liberation Army, and detrimental circumstances for the development of domestic American technology development.

The Chinese government has specifically objected to limitations on purchasing Chinese chips and semiconductors and to government subsidies meant to aid American companies developing those products. In May, China demanded the World Trade Center intervene and punish Washington.

“US’ semiconductor subsidy policy, together with its export control measures, have disrupted the global chip supply chain, reflecting the ‘Cold War thinking’ of the US and ‘trade bullying’ when it comes to normal trade,” the Global Times paraphrased the Chinese government as stating in a World Trade Organization complaint.

Report Corroborates that Lawyer Kevin Morris Controls Hunter Biden’s Stake in Chinese Fund

Hunter Biden’s lawyer, Kevin Morris, controls his client’s ten percent stake in a Chinese state-backed fund, BHR Partners, Just the News reported Sunday, confirming Breitbart News’ exclusive report in April.

Morris’s control of Hunter Biden’s stake in the ongoing fund — closely linked to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) — raises concern the Biden business remains engaged in an ongoing partnership during Joe Biden’s presidency. An ongoing Biden business with a CCP-linked entity could compromise Joe Biden’s administration.

Morris’s stake in the fund depicts a relationship with the president’s son that goes beyond one of a typical lawyer, including paying his IRS debts on top of strategizing his legal defense. Hunter Biden racked up at least $10 million in legal bills over the past five years, CNN reported in October, as he will potentially spend millions more defending himself from an impeachment inquiry and three gun charges.

Hunter Biden formed the BHR Partners in 2013 as a joint venture with Devon Archer and Jonathan Li. Hunter Biden created the joint venture in which his company, Skaneateles LLC, held a ten percent equity stake in BHR Partners. Hunter conveyed that stake in Skaneateles to Morris, a source familiar with the agreement dated 2023 confirmed to Breitbart News. Nonprofit Marco Polo first unearthed the agreement.

Morris not only controls the Hunter Biden’s ten percent stake in BHR Partners, he apparently assumed a debt obligation related to the venture. In 2019, Hunter Biden received a $250,000 wire as a loan from Jonathan Li, the CEO of the investment fund and widely known for reaching out to then-Vice President Joe Biden for advice about a college application for his son. The money was wired to account using Joe Biden’s Delaware address as the beneficiary, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) revealed in September. After Joe Biden became president, Kevin Morris assumed the $250,000 loan in 2021.

“It sure seems that the Bidens get a lot of loans that raise many questions,” House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) told Just the News. “Hunter Biden’s defense team was quick to say that the $250,000 wire he received from a Chinese national that listed Joe Biden’s home as the beneficiary address was a loan.”

Clinton Cash Author Has New Documentary Exposing the Bidens' Corruption With China

Leah Barkoukis

Peter Schweizer, bestselling author and president of the Government Accountability Institute, is out with a bombshell documentary that exposes the Biden family's relationship with China “and the sinister business deals that enriched them at America's expense.”

Speaking about his findings during an interview with Fox News’s Jesse Watters, the Clinton Cash author said the Biden family’s ties to China reveal corruption that is “much worse than Ukraine.”

The main takeaway from the 41-minute film, which is available on YouTube, is that the Bidens made a great deal of money from the Chinese government, which has serious "national security implications."

“We’re not talking about Chinese businesses,” he said, “this happened while Joe Biden was the point person on Obama administration policy toward China.”

Schweizer noted what happened is not “rank and file corruption we’ve gotten used to,” like a politician’s kid becoming wealthy.

“In addition to the Bidens making money, Hunter Biden entered into a business partnership, he was on the board of directors of a Chinese investment firm called BHR that was funded by the Chinese government, and what did they do? They started acquiring companies that were beneficial to the Chinese military, they were the anchor investor in something called China General Nuclear, which ended up being charged by our FBI for stealing nuclear secrets in the United States,” he explained. “They ended up buying part of an American duel use technology company, meaning it produces technology that has civilian and military applications, they ended up buying that for the benefit of the Chinese military.”

Watters explained that Schweizer’s research is not just “conjecture” but based on “corporate records, financial documents, legal briefings, and court papers.”

The Bidens’ ties to China have “very real national

security implications,” Schweizer said, adding that

they were “prepared and willing to make money

even if it damaged our military posture vis-à-vis the

Chinese who are our chief rivals on the global

stage.”

CHINESE DICTATOR XI TELLS BIDEN TO COME KISS HIS ASS (again)   -  China Demands Biden Cave on Taiwan, Tech Restrictions for Meeting with Xi

The Biden administration’s recent security supplemental for Israel, Ukraine, and the Indo-Pacific fails to prioritize the threat posed by communist China, according to one lawmaker.

President Joe Biden’s $105 billion supplemental request would spend less than four percent of that amount on strengthening military deterrence in the Indo-Pacific. Such a proposal, said Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.), simply does not take the threat from communist China seriously.

“The Indo-Pacific portion was woefully insufficient,” Mr. Gallagher told The Epoch Times.

“I think it’s important to recognize that in a supplemental where there seemed to be money for almost everything under the sun, when it came to the most important thing, which is deterrence and American presence in the Indo-Pacific region, our priority theater, it was a joke.”

Mr. Gallagher, who serves as chair for the House Select Committee on Strategic Competition with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), said that he hopes Congress can work to set things right.

Only about $7 billion of the Biden administration’s mammoth spending package is earmarked for the Indo-Pacific.

Of that number, more than $3 billion will go to submarine infrastructure, and $2 billion more will go to establishing lending programs to draw funds away from predatory Chinese programs.

That leaves only $2 billion for Foreign Military Financing in the Indo-Pacific. But, Mr. Gallagher says the United States would need to spend roughly five times that to really counter CCP influence in the region.

“The actual number for the Indo-Pacific, the right number, is probably closer to $10 billion if we’re being serious,” Mr. Gallagher said.

The congressman added that he was disappointed with the Biden administration’s attempt to combine funding for the Indo-Pacific with funding for Israel, Ukraine, and even the United States’ own southern border.

To that end, Mr. Gallagher anticipates a move in Congress to create separate, alternative supplemental requests that will allow the legislature to consider aid to each region discretely.

“My hope is that we in Congress can do our own supplemental, starting with Israel and the Indo-Pacific, fix that, and then have a parallel but separate track of negotiations when it comes to Ukraine and [the] border,” Mr. Gallagher said.

He is not alone in that wish. Newly elected House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) has said he will push for a standalone aid package for Israel this week.

China Infiltrating Pacific Islands

A key contention for Mr. Gallagher is the CCP’s continued infiltration into the Pacific islands, and the regime’s efforts to expand its diplomatic, economic, and military footprint throughout the Indo-Pacific region more broadly.

For that reason, Mr. Gallagher met with Solomon Islands MP Peter Kenilorea Jr. privately last week, where the two discussed the importance of the United States’ robust engagement with the region.

Mr. Kenilorea said the CCP is infiltrating the Solomon Islands, and that greater U.S. engagement with the nation may help assuage the growing pro-communist sentiment.

Mr. Gallagher agreed with that assessment, noting that CCP attempts to infiltrate and steal data and intellectual property were appearing with increasing frequency all over the world.

“What we’re seeing happen [in the Solomon Islands] is a microcosm of the broader spread of [China’s] malign influence throughout the region, but it’s not confined to the Indo-Pacific,” Mr. Gallagher said. “It’s now global. It affects various multilateral institutions.”

“Even here in the United States, we’re seeing it play out in the form of United Front work, intellectual property theft, and so all the more reason why we need to stay forward engaged.”
