Bruner: Biden Impeachment for Bribery an ‘Open and Shut Case’
Seamus Bruner, Director of Research at the Government Accountability Institute and author of Controligarchs: Exposing the Billionaire Class, their Secret Deals, and the Globalist Plot to Dominate Your Life, said Sunday on Fox News channel’s “Fox & Friends” that he believed the impeachment of President Joe Biden for bribery would be an “open and shut case.”
Bruner said, “It needs to be e behind closed doors. And, of course, Hunter and his allies want to make it the public spectacle where it’s about the drugs and the prostitutes and or poor Hunter’s problem. They need it behind closed doors so they can really drill down, get to the meat of the problem, follow the money, reference the emails that are so damning against Hunter and even Joe.”
He continued, “The Bidens are very dishonest about their business dealings. I mean, for years when we first broke this news in 2018, first they said, ‘Oh, it’s crazy conspiracy theories, there’s no way that Joe Biden ever talked business with his son Hunter.’ Even Joe Biden says he never talked business, or if he did, he never got paid. So the standard that the Democrats have set on this is, ‘Well, Joe never got paid.’ That’s not the standard, 18USC, section 271 says anything of value for any official action. So the thing of value could be payments to Hunter, it could be payments to James Biden and the Biden family members. It doesn’t have to go directly to Joe, so that’s a false standard. If bribery was committed the Constitution demands impeachment.”
Bruner added, “If they can get Hunter Biden behind closed doors and drill down on two questions; Number one, did you ever talk to your father about your foreign business dealings? We know the answer to that is yes. Hunter’s not been honest about this, but the second question is did your father ever talk to your business partners while doing foreign policy that affected their business. And the answer to both those questions is yes, and the money proves that things of value were transferred. Now, Joe Biden in his own words has said he withheld the billion or dollars, that’s an official action right there unless they fired the prosecutor, and then the email showed that the Burisma executives wanted Joe Biden to do that. So this is an open and shut case as far as I’m concerned.”

THE BIDEN KLEPTOCRACY
American people deserve to know what China was up to with Joe Biden, especially when Beijing had already shelled out millions of dollars to Biden family members — including millions in set-asides for “the big guy.” What else is on that infamous Hunter Biden laptop? The conflicted Biden Justice Department cannot be trusted to engage in any meaningful oversight on this issue. We need a special counsel now.
TOM FITTON - JUDICIAL WATCH
Report: Hunter Biden Going on the Offensive in the Face of Legal, Political Troubles
After “quietly” waiting for exoneration failed, Hunter Biden is now launching a “counteroffensive” as he faces the prospect of multiple criminal charges, according to an in-depth report on Tuesday.
Politico reported that for years, Biden was “told to cooperate with prosecutors and wait quietly for exoneration,” a strategy “favored by veteran Democrats.”
However, now he is “directly taking on his adversaries” — filing a barrage of lawsuits and attacking the prosecution as tainted by Republican pressure, the report said.
The new strategy was seen on Tuesday as his lawyer Abbe Lowell said his client would be willing to testify in front of the House Oversight Committee in its impeachment probe of President Joe Biden, but only if it was a public hearing.
Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) promptly denied that request, given that closed-door depositions before a public hearing are common. The committee said Hunter Biden would have the opportunity to testify publicly at a later date.
Hunter Biden’s new legal strategy has divided Joe Biden’s advisers and Democrat operatives, according to “eight people close to the president and his son.”
Some White House staff are reportedly “irritated” that the younger Biden is being more aggressive, since he is not “clearing” the tactics and strategy.”
They also worry that the strategy will only bring more attention to his “legal entanglements, foreign business activities and personal struggle with drug addiction,” as well as legitimize attacks on the family.
Some congressional Democrats think the new strategy is all risk and no reward, the report added.
The report noted two top Democrat leaders admitting wrongdoing by Hunter Biden. House Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Jerry Nadler (NY) called him “a disturbed man” who “may have very well done some improper things,” and House Oversight Committee Ranking Member Jamie Raskin (MD) has said he “did a lot of really unlawful and wrong things.”
However, other “allies of the president” argue the aggressive strategy will play well for the public, according to the report.
“The American public likes to see people fight back,” Jamal Simmons, a former communications director for Vice President Kamala Harris, told Politico. “People who fight for themselves tend to get the benefit of the doubt from the public. And I actually think that probably does help the president in the long run.”
Hunter Biden is keeping his father and top White House staff aware of his legal moves, the report said.
The new strategy came after Hunter Biden retained Abbe Lowell late last year, the report said. Since then, Hunter Biden’s team has threatened to sue Fox News Channel, the owner of the shop where Hunter Biden left his laptops, threatened to put Joe Biden on the witness stand if prosecutors charged Hunter Biden with the gun crime.
Hunter Biden’s team has launched a series of lawsuits against Rudy Giuliani and his former lawyer, former Trump White House aide Garrett Ziegler for publishing the contents of his laptop online, the IRS for failing to keep his tax information private, and the former CEO of Overstock.com Patrick Byrne for defamation.
They have tried to subpoena former President Donald Trump and other former Trump administration officials.
Hunter Biden’s friend and attorney Kevin Morris, who paid his outstanding tax debt, reportedly works closely with Lowell, and has told associates, “We want to go on offense because we know we can win. That’s the whole point.”

BIDEN WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS THE WORST AND MOST CORRUPT PRESIDENT IN MODERN AMERICAN HISTORY!
MOST CORRUPT VII: Joe Biden - Part I - Forgotten History
ALL FUKING LYING GAMER PARASITE LAWYERS ON THE TAKE!
And so, at the end of the day, all that voters can come up with are Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris. I would never count my chickens before they hatch but, if Michelle cannot be persuaded to leave her luxe life of movie stars and yachts to run, it’s either Biden, the corrupt harridan, or the dumb cackler.
If not Biden, the top Dems are either the corrupt harridan or the dumb cackler
Republicans are worried that, if Biden drops (or is pushed) out of the race, candidates more appealing to voters will step in to fill the vacancy. Their big worry is that Michelle Obama—who, thanks to a slobbering media, is popular in ways that neither her accomplishments nor her personality justify—will be pushed to run. Alternatively, Gavin Newsom is chomping at the bit, and the media could push him over the top despite California’s ongoing decline. But when asked, the most popular Democrats behind Biden are Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris.
The Harvard-Harris poll was taken from November 15-16 and queried 2,851 registered voters. The overall results are interesting. 58% of people think the country is on the wrong track, as opposed to only 35% who think it’s on the right track. There’s the usual immutable partisan split, of course, but what’s important is that only 23% of Independents think the country is on the right track.
The numbers are almost identical regarding whether the economy is on the right or wrong track. However, almost one out of every two people polled say that their personal financial situation is worsening. Those numbers have improved slightly since the peak of Democrat-created inflation, but they’re not good for an incumbent. (Of course, Democrats insist that Americans are just too stupid to know how well they’re doing.) Still, Americans are beginning to feel slightly optimistic (which I hope is because they assume there will be a new administration after November 2024).
Biden, the Democrats, and the Republicans remain under 50% in the public eye. The public dislikes them about equally, although it still dislikes the Republicans just a little bit more. That’s either because the media, although people distrust it, are still effective, or it’s because the public recognizes that most Republicans are feckless people who stand for nothing. (Or maybe it’s a combination of both.)
Image: Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris, by Andrea Widburg
When it comes to who’s hot and who’s not, RFK, Jr., a stone-cold leftist who nevertheless got it right on vaccines, has the highest overall favorability in America (52%). However, Donald Trump is a close second at 51%. In fourth place is Joe Biden, who, God alone knows how, comes in at 46%, one point behind Elon Musk. Next in order of favorability are Kamala Harris (45%), Ron DeSantis (44%), Hillary Clinton (44%), and Nikki Haley (43%). Michelle Obama is not on the list, but Gavin Newsom’s overall favorability is 30%, well below Kamala or Hillary.
When it comes to net favorability (subtracting the number of those who dislike a person, whether strongly or weakly, from those who like the person), the winners are RFK, Jr. (25%), Nikki Haley (14%), Bibi Netanyahu (13%), Tim Scott (9%), Vivek Ramaswamy (8%), Mike Johnson (8%), and Donald Trump (7%).
It gets still more interesting when you drill further down. The person with the most passionate devotion from those polled—the coveted “very favorable” view—is Donald Trump, at 30%. Biden comes in next for passion, with 22%, followed by Kamala Harris (21%), Hillary Clinton (19%), Elon Musk (18%), RFK, Jr. (17%), Ron DeSantis (14%), and Nikki Haley (13%), a position she shares with Bibi Netanyahu and Vivek Ramaswamy.
Drilling down still further reveals even more interesting information. Trump inspires the most passion, both pro and con, although the “favorables” (21%) outweigh the “unfavorables” (10%). However, those who hate him (34%) outnumber those who love him (30%). Biden is deeply disliked even more than Trump (36%) but gets a boost from the mush “favorables.” Indeed, the only political figure in America viewed more unfavorably than Joe is his son Hunter, who gets a 37% “very unfavorable” rating.
Hunter, though, still ranks higher than Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, and Mahmoud Abbas. Of the small percentage of people who have any idea who these three are, only 8%, 7%, and 7%, respectively, have a “strongly favorable” view of them. On the debit side (for them), Tlaib’s “very unfavorables” are 22%, Omar’s are 23%, and Abbas’s are 15%.
Almost a year away from the election, what I think I’m seeing is a combination of the effects of media bias (which strongly favors Democrats), disinterest, and ignorance. It’s to be hoped that all those factors diminish as the election nears.
However, the most important thing the poll shows is that the Democrats have a problem. While the Republicans currently have multiple people who show up well if you can ignore Trump’s overwhelming presence, the Democrats do not. Because Biden is the incumbent, no one can really run against him. Also, because of identity politics, there’s a limit to their options: “Female” and “minority” are going to head the list.
Brace Yourself For What's Coming in 2024 - Victor Davis Hanson
What it tells us is that Comer is onto something dangerous for Biden and the Biden machine will stop at nothing to protect its kingpin and take down his rival. Call that corruption piled upon corruption. One can only hope that Comer will recognize that he's over the target and expose these thugs to the max, the getting to the bottom of the whole corrupt foundation of House Biden before they can do any more damage to the country. Comer: Expect Biden Impeachment Vote Early Spring 2024
Wednesday, during an appearance on FNC’s “Hannity,” House Oversight Committee chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY) offered an update on his committee’s investigation into alleged wrongdoing by the Biden family.
The Kentucky Republican said there were “smoking guns” produced by his committee, but still some questions were unanswered.
“[I] think we produced many smoking guns,” he said. “There are people in the mainstream media that want to say otherwise. But poll after poll comes out and shows that the American people are keeping up with this investigation and they realize that something bad is going on here.”
“And the president of the United States has been dishonest with the American people,” Comer continued. “He has lied at least a dozen times about who he met with and what level of involvement he had in his family policy criminal activities. That is what there. We are talking about money laundering. We are talking about tax evasion. We are talking about securities fraud, and on and on and on. These are very serious crimes that any other American would have gone to prison over. So, really there are two things that Congress is going to have to look at here with respect to corruption.”
“First of all, there is the corruption itself,” he added. “And secondly is the government coverup.”
He said he anticipated an impeachment vote in the early spring next year.
“Well, certainly, that will be early spring,” Comer replied. “The sooner, the better. It just depends on when these people come in for their depositions and transcribed interviews. We have about 24 people that we want to hear from, and we’re expecting to hear from them in the next 45 days. After we hear from them, hopefully, we’re able to wrap up our job on the Oversight Committee, which is to investigate criminal wrongdoing and issue a report. Then we will hand it off to the Judiciary Committee.”
