IS AMERICA YET SICK OF BLACKS HOWLING 'YOU RACIST'! - BLACKS ARE THE MOST RACIST AND VIOLENT SUBCULTURE IN THE COUNTRY - Cornel West Blames ‘Racism’ for Harvard President’s Resignation in ‘Antisemitic’ Post

Obama’s New Movie, Same Message: Blame White People

Netflix unveiled a movie last month called Leave the World Behind that was about as subtle as an Antifa-thrown brick through a windshield: societal chaos and global disaster are heading our way.  Filled with Hollywood heavyweights (Julia Roberts, Mahershala Ali, Ethan Hawke, and Kevin Bacon — with Ali apparently taking over a role originally meant for Denzel Washington) and directed by Sam Esmail (the auteur behind the award-winning Mr. Robot), the stylish production was certainly meant to get people’s attention.  Speaking of production, Barack and Michelle Obama (executive producers) and their narcissistically-named Higher Ground Productions company helped to give the apocalyptic tale a global audience.

Since its release, the movie has sparked a fever pitch of commentary.  Hated by some and loved by others, a recurring complaint is that the movie is all build-up without any pay-off.  It crawls along with a Hitchcockian rhythm of rising suspense and then abruptly ends without any explanation.  Between beginning and end, a tiny community outside of New York City is hit with an Internet blackout, an out-of-control oil tanker running aground, electric grid failures, unusual animal behavior, strange ear-piercing noises that appear to cause mental confusion and tooth-loss, self-driving Teslas blocking highway escape, and menacing drones dropping red leaflets purportedly from foreign powers claiming responsibility for all the craziness.  Oh, and Julia Roberts utters a bunch of lines to make sure that every viewer in the world knows white people are racist.

The audience watches all this and expects a big reveal to come crashing through the screen before the credits roll, but instead, we are left with some “woke” sermonizing.  The climax of the movie occurs when Ali and Hawke (well-off political “progressives”) have a near-death standoff with distrusting neighbor Bacon (an American flag-waving, gun-toting “prepper” who inexplicably lives somewhere near the Hamptons).  When the situation is finally defused (the unprepared leftists are desperately seeking medicine from a man they clearly believe is beneath them), Ali delivers a monologue about how his neighbor’s refusal to accede to their “we’re all in this together” demands confirms his worst fears — that all of these peculiar events are part of a relatively inexpensive hybrid warfare campaign meant to provoke the American people into fighting and killing each other.

In order to scare the bejesus out of Obama’s brain-dead, propaganda-susceptible, mask-wearing, “climate change”-bamboozled, sexually-confused, “We are the ones we’ve been waiting for” coalition of intolerant tyrants, there is even a scene depicting rogue members of the military (no doubt Trump voters!) bombing Manhattan to smithereens.  I think that’s Obama’s way of encouraging his fellow Marxists to continue implementing George W. Bush’s “pre-emptive” war strategy here at home by attacking random Americans as if they have it coming.

You see, we are the real monsters in this movie.  We are the ones to blame for the collapse of civilization.  Our ultimate destruction won’t come from hostile foreigners, mysterious pandemics, cyber attacks, or the “Great Reset” plans of the World Economic Forum’s jackbooted “elites.”  Huh-uh, we will all die because conspiracy-spreading MAGA Americans are inherently selfish and just can’t get enough of the “patriarchy” and “white supremacy”!

If you speak “woke-stupid,” the movie is a masterpiece indictment of “Trump’s America.”  If you are a psychologically stable person with a virtuous sense of duty to God, family, and country, you are left wondering, “Why didn’t those rich people plan ahead for a rainy day?”

To be sure, there was ample foreshadowing suggesting that Americans would ultimately be blamed for their own suffering.  The oil tanker that crashes into the beach is the “White Lion,” a reference to the early-seventeenth century privateer credited with delivering the first Africans to the colony of Virginia to be sold as indentured servants.  We get it: oil and slavery are both really bad.  In another please-hit-us-over-the-head-with-woke-history moment, a car radio frequency lands on 1619 as the camera lingers — a retch-inducing hat-tip to The New York Times’ propagandistic attempts to erase America’s 1776 foundations in liberty and rewrite the history of the United States as one irredeemably stained by slavery and “white supremacy.”

In yet another visual allusion, a young, white, male character in the movie wears a t-shirt with a prominent message — “OBEY” —from the same street artist (Shepard Fairey) who designed Obama’s “HOPE” poster before the 2008 election.  If you’re “woke-stupid,” this is a clever critique of MAGA “authoritarianism.”  If you are capable of independent thought (and too rational for Rachel Maddow’s neurotic neural programming), then you think to yourself, “Yup, the guy who forced Obamacare down our throats and has been a one-man super-salesman for social media censorship sure did sell a lot of HOPE-ium in order to brainwash his clueless supporters into volunteering for total obedience.”

With divider-in-chief Obama involved in the project, it was hard to see these breadcrumbs as anything other than a warning that Americans deserve to be punished for not sufficiently apologizing for their great-great-great-ancestor’s neighbor’s uncle’s racist tendencies.  I half expected the protagonist — a tuxedo-wearing Ali who exudes the “no-drama Obama” facade to a T — to pontificate out loud that if only Americans had volunteered to redistribute their depreciating wealth to “people of color,” accepted two-tiered “justice” that protects Antifa terrorists while persecuting Trump supporters, embraced “affirmative action” standards that punish certain overachievers for the color of their skin, and agreed to exclude poor white males from good jobs and schools, then maybe this terrible apocalypse would never have had to happen.

Interestingly, quite a few people believe this movie is Obama’s cryptic warning to the world that a crippling cyber attack and Internet blackout are about to unleash global chaos (similar to how Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates, and the rest of the WEF’s oligarchical, technocratic villains held pandemic simulations before COVID and continue to hold digital Armageddon drills today).  Some think this is a philanthropic message from the Obamas, while others see it as a kind of “plausible deniability” exercise, so that Barack can pretend his hands are clean when his Marxist globalist friends trigger the next worldwide cataclysm meant to induce such paralyzing planetary panic as to justify further economic and political consolidation into the nefarious hands of central bankers, international bureaucrats, spy agencies, and other “ruling” totalitarian “elites.”

Whether Obama is worried about social collapse or is actively seeking it (his vocal support for anti-law enforcement groups that resulted in numerous police officer executions during his presidency strongly suggests the latter), his animosity toward ordinary Americans continues to ring loudly.  He briefly let his mask slip during his 2008 presidential run when he called working-class voters from old manufacturing towns “bitter” people who “cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them.”  When he was elected (with the help, no less, of quite a few Republican voters who found Obama’s “HOPE-ium” pills more intoxicating than McCain’s love of war), he had a spectacular chance to unite the country as no political leader had ever done.  Instead, Obama and “wingman” Eric Holder spent those years retooling the Bush-Cheney surveillance State into a weapon for targeting conservatives and taking every opportunity to pour salt in old racial wounds that had largely healed before the Obama White House ignominiously chose to never let a racial grievance go to waste in pursuit of raw political power.

Obama’s latest effort at dividing the American public seems to be further proof that a leopard cannot change its spots.  America will probably be destroyed, his movie suggests, but it’s all white people’s fault.

Cornel West Blames ‘Racism’ for Harvard President’s Resignation in ‘Antisemitic’ Post

In a post widely deemed “antisemitic” in which he rages against the “undeniable” racism perpetrated against “both Palestinians and Black people,” prominent progressive activist and independent presidential candidate Cornel West blamed “racism” for the recent resignation of Harvard President Claudine Gay.

Gay’s departure followed her involvement in antisemitism scandals, disastrous congressional testimony, and plagiarism allegations at the famed university.

In a viral X post from Tuesday, Ivy League professor Dr. Cornel West claimed the ousting of Harvard’s first Black woman president is linked to those “enabling” violence against Palestinians in Gaza.

“How sad but predictable that the same figures and forces enabling the ethnic cleansing and genocidal attacks on Palestinians in Gaza – Ackman, Blum, Summers and others – push out the first Black woman president of Harvard!” he wrote, referencing Gay’s Jewish critics — billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman, affirmative action opponent Edward Blum, and former University President Lawrence Summers.

West — who is running as a 2024 presidential candidate, not on the Democrat ticket but as an Independent — goes on to describe racism targeting Palestinians and black individuals as rampant, and exacerbated by the influence of money and power on policy.

“This racism against both Palestinians and Black people is undeniable and despicable!” he exclaimed. “I have experienced similar attacks from the same forces in academia with too many of my colleagues remaining silent!”

“When big money dictates university policy and raw power dictates foreign policy, the moral bankruptcy of American education and democracy looms large! But we shall remain strong in our fight for Truth Justice Love!” he added.

His remarks follow Harvard President Claudine Gay’s Tuesday resignation, following weeks of her battling scores of accusations of plagiarism in the wake of her botched testimony before Congress about the rise of antisemitism on college campuses from anti-Israel activists.

West’s post elicited a vehement backlash from numerous figures.

“This is about as blatant antisemitism as one is likely to see from an Ivy League professor. How are any of the named individuals responsible for anything going on in Gaza beyond being Jews? What does Ed Blum have to do with Christine Gay beyond being a Jew?” asked Jewish Institute for Liberal Values (JILV) founder David L. Bernstein.

“I guess Cornell really needs attention, even more than usual, and thinks appealing to antisemites is the way to be it,” he added.

“How sad and predictable that instead of blaming Harvard President Gay herself for repeatedly committing plagiarism, Cornel West chooses instead to deflect by invoking the race card when he knows full well that this has nothing to do with race,” wrote columnist Michael Freund.

“Set aside everything else for one moment- this insanely antisemitic post from @CornelWest blames the (nonexistent) ‘ethnic cleansing’ and ‘genocide’ in Gaza on… American Jews,” wrote National Jewish Advocacy Center director and legal expert Mark Goldfeder.

“Since it was liberal white democrats that pushed her out and targeted you too, I see why you don’t support democrats anymore,” wrote former state Rep. Vernon Jones.

Gay’s resignation — just over six months into her presidency — makes her tenure as president the shortest in Harvard’s history, according to a report by the Harvard Crimson.

Gay informed the Harvard community of her resignation in an email saying it has been “frightening to be subjected to personal attacks and threats fueled by racial animus.”

Her resignation comes nearly three months after the October 7 Hamas terrorist attack against Israel, which Harvard’s leadership failed to properly respond to after over 30 of its student groups signed a pro-terror statement blaming Israel for the attack against itself.

In addition, along with the presidents of the University of Pennsylvania and MIT, Gay delivered a disastrous testimony before congress regarding antisemitism last month.

During the congressional hearing, the presidents infamously declined to declare whether advocating for the genocide of Jews violates their schools’ rules of bullying and harassment. Days later, University of Pennsylvania President Liz Magill resigned.

Subsequently, Gay’s own Ph.D. dissertation was called into question by conservative activist and CRT expert Christopher Rufo, who accused the Harvard president of plagiarism. After that, the plagiarism allegations against Gay only continued to mount, brining the total number against Gay to nearly 50.

In response to news of her resignation, a number of woke activists and Critical Race Theory (CRT) supporters expressed outrage.

“Racist mobs won’t stop until they topple all Black people from positions of power and influence who are not reinforcing the structure of racism. What these racist mobs are doing should be obvious to any reporter who cares about truth or justice as opposed to conflicts and clicks,” wrote Ibram X. Kendi.

“The next president of Harvard University MUST be a Black woman,” wrote former Huffington Post reporter Marc Lamont Hill.

““Chris Rufo and bad faith right wing actors win again,” wrote Daily Beast columnist Wajahat Ali.

Former ESPN reporter Jemele Hill posted, “When white people are hired in any position, the automatic assumption is they were the best person. When Black people are hired, it’s assumed we got there because of affirmative action — which by the way doesn’t mean under-qualified. If affirmative action never existed, a lot of white people would still believe deeply in their own superiority because that is what they’ve been taught.”

“Considering there have been 30 presidents at Harvard and Claudine Gay was the only Black one in history, she had to be extremely qualified to even be in that position,” she added.

West, who resigned from Harvard in 2021, held a dual appointment in the Harvard University Divinity School and Department of African and African-American Studies.

The former philosophy professor has a long history of controversial and divisive rhetoric, and has been accused of citing Jewish conspiracies in recent years, notably attributing his denial of tenure at Harvard to his stance on Israel.

In November, he faced backlash after declaring his solidarity with “anybody who’s occupied” — claiming that his “people,” too, have “dished out love warriors and freedom fighters,” as he attacked the “American empire” and “cowards in Washington, DC,” for their unwillingness to capitulate to Hamas’s demand for a ceasefire.

Despite his remarks about Israeli “occupation,” Gaza has not been “occupied” by Israel since 2005 when Israel withdrew all of its soldiers and civilians in a “disengagement” that aimed to reduce violence in the region.

In response, Hamas launched thousands of rockets at Israel and started several wars.

In October, he seemed to justify Hamas’s monstrous massacre, which saw the deaths and kidnappings of hundreds of men, women, and children, calling it a form of resistance to “oppression.”

He also likened America and Israel to the terror group while claiming they both have “blood on their hands.”

In 2021, West declared that American police “have been out of control since the slave patrol.”

Previously, he expressed his belief that then-President Donald Trump was becoming the “American version of a Hitler and a Mussolini” after Trump told members of the “Squad” to go back to their countries of origin even though three of them were born in the United States.

West also called Trump a “fascist Frankenstein,” stating that this is a “very historic and pivotal moment in the history of this nation” because “this democratic experiment” could “come to an end.”

RACIST JOE REID LOVES TO STAGE HER IGNORANCE AND THEN BLAME WHITEY. HER SPIEL NEVER CHANGES!

MSNBC’s Reid: Claudine Gay a Casualty of Right’s ‘Open War on Black Progress’

MSNBC anchor Joy Reid said Tuesday on “The ReidOut” that Harvard University ex-president Claudine Gay was a casualty of the right’s “open war on black progress.”

Reid said, “I do just want to pivot to another thing. Because there’s another thing happening. There- there is this sort of open war on Black progress, Black history. Claudine Gay, the president of Harvard University, at least up until she resigned, is now the latest casualty of that.”

She continued, “Christopher Rufo, who is out there touting and, you know, high-fiving and claiming the scalp of Claudine Gay, telegraphed that this was what they were going to do. They were going to associate these DEI professors of colleges with BLM and, decolonization and Hamas in the public mind and get rid of them. He’s now claiming victory. He telegraphed that this was the campaign. Why are these elite colleges capitulating to it and essentially making it so uncomfortable for these women leaders that they have to step down to be replaced by white men? Because that is the goal of Christopher Rufo and his gang.

She added, “There’s no intellectual inquiry about it. They’re just trying to take out any woman or person of color who leads elite universities so they can give them to the people they prefer, which is the guys who used to have them in the 50s.”

WHY DO PEOPLE APOLOGIZE FOR BLACK IGNORANCE? BLACK VIOLENCE? BLACK HATE ON JEWS, ASIANS, GAYS, WHITES, AND EACH OTHER?

Disgraced Harvard Ex-President Claudine Gay to Stay on as Prof with Nearly $1M Salary Despite Plagiarism Accusations

Disgraced Harvard President Claudine Gay, who resigned on Tuesday following antisemitism scandals, disastrous congressional testimony, and scores of plagiarism allegations, will stay on the Ivy League university’s faculty as a professor with a salary of at least $900,000.

The outgoing Harvard president, who was previously a political science professor and later a dean, will stay at the university, where she be given a faculty position.

Gay will likely be making nearly $900,000 a year at the Ivy League institution, despite being forced to resign from the school’s presidency after scores of plagiarism allegations against her were filed in official academic complaints at Harvard, according to multiple reports.

While it remains unclear which position she will be in, money will not be an issue, as Gay is expected to receive a salary comparable to what she previously received — and maybe even higher.

In 2021, Gay earned $879,079 as a faculty of arts and sciences dean, and in 2020, she earned $824,068, records published by the university reveal.

Gay’s predecessor, Lawrence Bacow, had raked in an annual $1.3 million before he left, according to a report by the Harvard Crimson. It remains unclear how much of the roughly $1 million presidential salary Gay will be entitled to after serving only six months as president of the university.

Meanwhile, Provost and Chief Academic Officer Alan M. Garber will take over as interim president while the school mulls over who should become Harvard’s next leader.

As Breitbart News reported, Gay resigned from her role as Harvard president on Tuesday after being accused of failing to properly respond to major antisemitism scandals at the school, as well as delivering a disastrous congressional testimony on antisemitism, and scores of plagiarism allegations being unearthed in recent months. Gay and the university blamed racism and threats from conservatives as a driving factor of the decision to resign, with the AP declaring that plagiarism is now a “conservative weapon.”

Gay’s six month tenure as president of the Ivy League university marks the shortest presidency in Harvard’s history.

Onward with Inclusiveness

Claudine Gay’s resignation as president is unlikely to change much at Harvard.

https://www.city-journal.org/article/harvard-presses-on-with-inclusiveness

In her parting shot at Harvard, newly resigned president Claudine Gay has provided a reminder of why she never should have been made president in the first place. Gay stepped down today following months of turmoil caused by her reaction to the Hamas October 7 terror attacks on Israel and by accusations of plagiarism.

Gay got her job because of her race. No white professor, even a female one, would have been elevated to the premier college presidency in the United States on so meager a research record. It is fitting, then, that Gay plays the race card to the end. She lauds her abortive presidency as giving hope to those around the world who saw in it a “vision of Harvard that affirmed their sense of belonging.” In other words, without a black president, students “of color” would not be certain of belonging at Harvard. Never mind that for decades Harvard has so enthusiastically sought out black students that it admitted many of them with academic credentials that would have been all but disqualifying if presented by whites and Asians. Now, without a black president, that vision is apparently threatened, even as Gay concedes that Harvard’s “doors remain open.”

Gay’s sense of self-worth is breathtaking. She already has a legacy in mind for her five-month long presidency, the shortest in Harvard’s history. She hopes that her tenure is remembered “as a moment of reawakening to the importance of striving to find our common humanity.” Before her presidency, in other words, Harvard was deficient in the striving-for-common-humanity department. Never mind that Gay had auditioned for the presidency with a call to infuse the hunt for racism throughout every corner of the university, an academic agenda based on the idea that America remains a perennially white supremacist country.  As president, she was true to her word, introducing what the Corporation euphemistically calls “ambitious new academic initiatives” in “inequality.”

The mission of a university, however, is the transmission of a civilizational inheritance and the testing of new knowledge. The goal of “finding a common humanity” (or, even worse, of combatting “bias and hate,” as Gay also puts it) serves as a pretext for the therapeutic diversity infrastructure.

There is no indication from either the Gay resignation letter or the Harvard Corporation follow-up that the university is moving away from identity-based scholarship, hiring, and admissions. The Harvard Corporation asserts that Harvard’s core values are “excellence, inclusiveness, and free inquiry and expression.” That latter item—free inquiry and expression—can be ignored. It is so far from the truth that it means nothing. Harvard has tolerated a reign of academic conformity and the informal silencing of intellectual dissent. Its left-wing leaders, including the Harvard Corporation, remain blind to their own hypocrisy regarding free speech, since they apparently do not believe in the legitimacy of non-dogmatic views on race, sex, or personal responsibility.

But the Corporation’s reassertion of its commitment to “inclusiveness” is an important marker of the future. The term is particularly charged following the Supreme Court’s ruling this summer invalidating racial preferences in college admissions. When the decision came down, then-president Lawrence Bacow signaled that Harvard would do everything it could to retain its regime of “inclusiveness.” Its subsequent actions have only confirmed that intent. At present, “excellence” and “inclusiveness” (as the latter is currently defined) are mutually exclusive. Thanks to the academic skills gap, a university can be meritocratically excellent or it can be demographically inclusive. It cannot be both. That is why inclusiveness must be affirmed as a separate value from excellence. In a meritocratic world, the only values a university would care about including are those pertaining to academic achievement.

If the Harvard Corporation had learned anything from the Gay debacle, it would have left out that coded rhetoric of “inclusiveness.” Unless the board itself undergoes a revolution, nothing at Harvard will change.

AP: Plagiarism is a New “Conservative Weapon”

"A possible new weapon in conservative attacks on higher education."

Remember when the AP had a modicum of credibility? Over the past few years it’s been working hard to shed that modicum to the point that the formerly respected wire service is indistinguishable from the Washington Post which is the same as The Nation or the old Gawker. That is to say most media now looks like the same stew of leftist snark, explainers and narrative warfare.

That’s also how we end up with this spectacular AP response to Harvard President Gay resigning over plagiarism charges.

Harvard president’s resignation highlights new conservative weapon against colleges: plagiarism – AP

There used to be four Ws of journalism to which we can now add, “what the hell”.

Even within the entire “Republicans pounce” meme where the focus on every leftist scandal is how it’s a cynical ploy by Republicans, that’s really something.

Harvard’s president is caught with instances of plagiarism in the majority of her work and the response is… Republicans pounce.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The downfall of Harvard’s president has elevated the threat of unearthing plagiarism, a cardinal sin in academia, as a possible new weapon in conservative attacks on higher education.

Possible new weapon.

After a few paragraphs the AP “report” reads like something from a college student paper.

The plagiarism allegations came not from her academic peers but her political foes, led by conservatives who sought to oust Gay and put her career under intense scrutiny in hopes of finding a fatal flaw. Her detractors charged that Gay — who has a Ph.D. in government, was a professor at Harvard and Stanford and headed Harvard’s largest division before being promoted — got the top job in large part because she is a black woman.

Christopher Rufo, a conservative activist who helped orchestrate the effort, celebrated her departure as a win in his campaign against elite institutions of higher education. On X, formerly Twitter, he wrote “SCALPED,” as if Gay was a trophy of violence, invoking a gruesome practice taken up by white colonists who sought to eradicate Native Americans.

Intersectionality is a beautiful thing.

The AP “article” doesn’t get around to describing the plagiarism until the very end of the article and claims that Gay merely “mirrored” the language as if she were doing a Marx Brothers routine. The key points are that the whole thing is a racist conspiracy by the right-wing that threatens academic freedom. Since plagiarism is now a conservative weapon, the only thing to do is legalize it. That will show those conservatives.

Ibram X. Kendi, Other Woke Activists Rage over Claudine Gay Resigning as Harvard President: ‘Racist Mobs’

Hardcore woke activists and Critical Race Theory (CRT) pushers, including professor Ibram X. Kendi, raged into the void of social media on Tuesday in response to the news that Claudine Gay was resigning from her position as president of Harvard University.

As Breitbart News reported on Tuesday, Gay finally announced her resignation after weeks of battling accusations of plagiarism in the wake of her botched testimony before Congress about the rise of antisemitism on college campuses from anti-Israel activists. The report noted:

Gay’s resignation — just six months and two days into her presidency — makes her tenure as president the shortest in Harvard’s history, according to a report by the Harvard Crimson. “Gay informed the Harvard community of her resignation in an email that says it has been ‘frightening to be subjected to personal attacks and threats fueled by racial animus,'” it added.

Needless to say, woke activists saw her resignation as yet another win for “structural racism.”

“Racist mobs won’t stop until they topple all Black people from positions of power and influence who are not reinforcing the structure of racism. What these racist mobs are doing should be obvious to any reporter who cares about truth or justice as opposed to conflicts and clicks,” raged Ibram X. Kendi.

CNN anchor assures viewers that Claudine Gay did not plagiarize, she’s only accused of ‘copying other people’s writings without attribution’

If only there were a word for such “sloppy” work in academia when someone takes another’s writing and passes it off as their own….

Alas though, the mystery word didn’t come to CNN analyst Matt Egan, but despite the fact that he couldn’t quite articulate it, he does know that what Claudine Gay allegedly did, is not plagiarism. See this clip below, from a segment that aired last night in the wake of Gay’s disgraced resignation:

(He should have just taken a cue from his colleagues and referred to Gay’s actions as “mostly honest plagiarism.”)

She’s not a thief, she just took intellectual property that didn’t belong to her.

She’s not a cheater, she just passed off “other people’s” work as her own—as Egan says, this is a case of “sloppy attribution” and nothing more.

She’s not a fraud, she just took credit for somebody else’s academic accomplishments.

(Mind you, at this point, the alleged plagiarism violations now number more than 50.)

What’s really ridiculous though is that apparently Gay’s resignation does not mean her departure, and as reported by Fox News, she is set to continue as a fixture at the university and return to faculty duties—but isn’t that just carte blanche to students who wish to cheat in her classes? What an utter joke. And I’m sorry, but on what planet does someone get to allegedly cheat their way to a doctorate, seemingly get caught, and then still get to retain the “Dr.” title? May I too steal Dr. Carol Swain’s brilliant words and call myself Dr. Olivia Murray? (Answer: No, because I’m not a DEI candidate/hire.) I guess this is just par for the course in a country that refers to someone who stole the presidency as the actual president.

The lows that the legacy media will sink to in order to protect the narrative and the left are an expected direction, but every new instance is just as astounding as the last—but hey, it’s not like CNN or any of the other establishment media outlets are state-sponsored propaganda supporting the regime at every turn, they’re full of “journalists” who are just parroting the script and prompts from the Democrats and the government… without attribution or proper recognition.

The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” — George Orwell Claudine Gay, 1984

Harvard Crimson reports Claudine Gay has resigned as president

The student-run daily newspaper at Harvard, the Harvard Crimson, reports that in the face of continuing discovery of plagiarism evidence in her published work, Claudine Gay has resigned:

Harvard President Claudine Gay will resign Tuesday afternoon, bringing an end to the shortest presidency in the University's history, according to a person with knowledge of the decision.

It is not clear who will be appointed to serve as interim president.

University spokesperson Jonathan L. Swain declined to comment on Gay's decision to step down.

Gay’s resignation — just six months and two days into the presidency — comes amid growing allegations of plagiarism and lasting doubts over her ability to respond to antisemitism on campus after her disastrous congressional testimony Dec. 5. (snip)

The Corporation — the University’s highest governing body — is expected to announce the resignation to Harvard affiliates in an email later today. Gay is also expected to make a statement about the decision.

For the moment, absent denials from Harvard, I will assume that the report is true.

Update: Gay has sent a letter to university constituents confirming her departure.

Yesterday’s detailed anonymous complaint with six new incriminating instances of apparent plagiarism may have been the straw that broke the camel’s back. (The Free Beacon clearly highlights the duplication of prose in its coverage of the complaint.)

However, I have long believed that the price of keeping Gay would be too high for Harvard’s key constituencies to bear, and eventually they would bring enough pressure on the members of the Harvard Corporation to defenestrate Gay.

Students currently on campus are one key group, and the knowledge that students have been punished, even expelled, for offenses that Gay has been given a pass on poisons the atmosphere. How can Gay be seen as a legitimate leader if she doesn’t meet the standards students are held to?

The 13 members of Harvard Corporation, also known as The President and Fellows of Harvard University, have the formal power to hire and fire presidents. It is widely believed that the richest member among them, billionaire heiress and former Obama administration official Penny Pritzker, led the search committee that hired Gay. The exposure of their choice as an incompetent plagiarist, tolerant of Jew-hatred, is a gigantic blow to their standing. Their over-hasty defense of her record, when plagiarism charges were first vetted, also discredits them. They were entrusted with stewardship of an institution with almost 400 years of history, and they failed to preserve the legacy for which they took responsbility.

Update: From Gay's letter an hour ago:

...after consultation with members of the Corporation, it has become clear that it is in the best interests of Harvard for me to resign so that our community can navigate this moment of extraordinary challenge with a focus on the institution rather than any individual.

Quite simply, Gay has damaged Harvard’s core mission. No, I don’t mean the education of students or the production of research. Harvard’s real business is the production and maintenance of institutional prestige. That prestige is what attracts students, faculty, donors, campus visitors and other people who bring value and further enhance prestige. And it has taken a gigantic hit.

The news of a 17% decline among those applying for early acceptance was a terrible sign that Harvard would become easier to get into, which could take down its standing as exclusive and snowball into a catastrophic fall in the US News & World Report rankings, and other critical lists of the world’s most prestigious universities.

Harvard casts a wide net when it tallies up its constituencies. It is not just degree holders, aka alumni, who count. There are many people who come to campus for shorter stays. Jeffrey Epstein reportedly donated $6 milion and was granted an office on campus, in one embarrassing example. The journalists who are named Neiman Fellows are one such group widely known to the public, but many other programs exist often for a few weeks, usually leading to a certificate if not a diploma. And then there are members of countless advisory boards for every single program on campus.

These constituents are global in scope. This was brought home for me first time I attended a Harvard alumni reception in Tokyo, in the 1970s, when the first person I spoke with was the Saudi ambassador to Japan. The fact that elites from all over the world identify with Harvard is one of its key competitive advantages over other institutions.

Virtually everyone with a Harvard connection has either avoided mentioning it or has experienced reactions ranging from skepticism to outright mockery over their affiliation in recent weeks. They are not happy campers, and they ultimately have power over the 13 members of the Harvard Corporation, who do not want to be remembered as the people who ruined an institution deeply valued by its members.

Update:

Gray blames racism for criticism. Sigh. More evidence of her inadequate character for the job to which she was appinted:

...it has been distressing to have doubt cast on my commitments to confronting hate and to upholding scholarly rigor—two bedrock values that are fundamental to who I am—and frightening to be subjected to personal attacks and threats fueled by racial animus.

Disclosure: I have 3 graduate degrees from Harvard and taught in all 3 fields in the the Facuty of Business Administration and Facuty of Arts and Sciences.

Actress Julianna Margulies: ‘Entire Black Community’ Brainwashed to Hate Jews

Actress Julianna Margulies (ERThe Good Wife) set the internet on fire this week when she said that the black community has been “brainwashed” to hate Jews.

Margulies issued her comment an on episode of The Back Room with Andy Ostroy podcast while talking about Israel-Hamas war in the wake of the horrific October 7 terrorist attack on the Jewish nation.

“I’m the first person to march [for] Black Lives Matter. When that happened to George Floyd, I put a black screen on my Instagram, like I ran to support my Black brothers and sisters,” Margulies said.

“When LGBTQ people are being attacked, I run. I made a commercial for same-sex marriages with my husband in 2012. Like, I am the first person to jump up when something is wrong, as I think most Jews are, because we have been persecuted from the beginning of time, not just World War II, but literally from the beginning of time when we first lived in Israel way before anybody else,” she added.

Margulies did blame some of the rise in antisemitism on TikTok, the Chinese-controlled app that she said should be banned.

“I guess what’s happening to the crazy people out there who are getting their news from TikTok, which in my estimation — after this whole Osama bin Laden letter — should be banned. TikTok should be banned,” she said.

On the subject of the American black community, Margulies expressed dismay, saying that the “Jews were the ones that walked side by side with the Blacks to fight for their rights.”

“And now the Black community isn’t embracing us and saying we stand with you the way you stood with us? Jews died for their cause. Where’s the history lesson in that? Who’s teaching these kids?” she said. “Because the fact that the entire Black community isn’t standing with us, to me, says they don’t know, or they’ve been brainwashed. They hate Jews.”

To those who might call Israelis “colonists,” Margulies told those people to “get the fuck out” of the United States if they feel that way.

“Here’s what kills me. These kids are calling Jews colonialists. If you’re going with that argument, kids, then get the fuck out of America. Because you were not here first. Native Americans were here first, and you owe them a big fucking apology,” she said.

A backlash immediately erupted on line with detractors calling Margulies racist.

“Wish I could say that Julianna Margulies’ racist rant against Black people is an outlier. But as I’ve said before, I’ve heard this same sentiment from supposedly liberal circles. Solidarity w/ Black people is transactional. We are supposed to be grateful charity recipients,” Washington Post columnist Karen Attiah wrote on X.

“I’ve never heard someone want to say a slur more than Julianna Margulies does in that little podcast she did,” tweeted Saturday Night Live comedian Joel Kim Booster.

AMERICA'S GHETTO BLACKS ARE THE MOST VIOLENT AND RACIST SUBCULTURE IN THE WORLD.

"That phase of the takeover was started in 2008 by President Barack Obama.  Throughout his eight years in office, Obama practiced divisiveness and hammered away at the Second Amendment while pouring gallons of fuel on the fire of the "Black Lives Matter" lie.  His administration was rampant with corruption, pushing the envelope with every new scandal." RICK HAYES

On May 25, 2020, a Black man who’d ingested huge quantities of illegal drugs died while a White cop restrained him as an angry crowd threatened. Democrats seized this incident as an opportunity to reclaim the White House and dominate government by racially dividing the nation.

https://mexicanoccupation.blogspot.com/2022/06/mexifornia-reparations-for-blacks-when.html

Let me be blunt.  Throwing more money at Blacks will make virtue-signaling White leftists feel a little more virtuous.  It will not help those Blacks who are sinking into a morass of poverty, crime, abuse, and despair.  The only thing that will change is when they stop looking for reparations (even arguably deserved ones) and start repairing their broken communities. This 'Abolitionist' Group Raised Millions To Support BLM. Now, It's Going After Jews.

People's City Council of Los Angeles could face financial scrutiny following attack on AIPAC president's home, experts say

People's City Council Black Friday protest (PplsCityCouncil/Twitter)

November 30, 2023

The People's City Council of Los Angeles launched in 2020 with a pledge to support the Black Lives Matter movement, attracting a flurry of large-dollar donations in the process. After years of fundraising inactivity, the self-described "abolitionist" group is now using its budget to target local Jewish leaders.

The council—which bills itself as an "abolitionist, anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist collective"—raised more than $2.5 million in the summer of 2020 thanks to a viral GoFundMe campaign to support BLM protesters. But the group never registered as a nonprofit or reported how it spent the money, prompting the California Department of Justice to bar it from raising and disbursing funds last year.

That decision did not stop the People's City Council from participating in the infamous Thanksgiving Day attack on AIPAC president Michael Tuchin's Los Angeles home, which saw far-left activists throw smoke grenades, scatter fake blood and infant body bags, and display signs saying, "FUCK UR HOLIDAY BABY KILLER!" After posting videos of the scene on social media, the group in a Monday statement defended the "protest," saying it will "keep applying pressure to any entity complicit" in Israeli "violence." Los Angeles police are investigating the incident as a hate crime involving "assault with a deadly weapon," a spokesman told the Washington Free Beacon.

The People's City Council's pivot from BLM supporter to anti-Semitic agitator aligns the group with local BLM chapters across the country. BLM Chicago, for example, posted graphics in the wake of Hamas's Oct. 7 assault on Israel that said the terrorist group had the "legal right to resist." Black Lives Matter Grassroots, which represents 26 BLM chapters, similarly justified Hamas's terror attack as a "desperate act of self-defense."

The newfound attention the People's City Council has attracted over its role in the Tuchin attack, meanwhile, could land it in hot water over its financial reporting failures. The group's inability to raise funds and lack of nonprofit status, experts say, likely warrant further investigation for tax violations given the significant amount of money it appears to control.

"The People’s City Council of LA has as sketchy a financial situation as is possible for an activist group to have," said Parker Thayer, investigative researcher for the Capital Research Center, adding that the lack of financial disclosures by a group that has raised millions is "unprecedented." Paul Kamenar, counsel to the watchdog group National Legal and Policy Center in Washington, D.C., echoed Thayer's assessment, saying that because the group appears to be "in violation of California charity laws," it could face hefty fines.

Neither the People's City Council's founders, Ricci Sergienko and Albert Corado, nor the California Justice Department responded to requests for comment.

The People’s City Council formed in 2020 shortly after the death of George Floyd catapulted BLM to national prominence. The group quickly raised more than $2.5 million through a viral GoFundMe campaign that promised support for injured or arrested BLM protesters. Large-dollar donations poured in, including one totaling $20,000. Campaign backers ranged from Greek houses at USC and UCLA to small businesses.

The group quickly pledged "transparency and accountability" over its use of the funds. In June 2020, it announced it was "immediately transferring" $300,000 to Black Lives Matter Los Angeles and another $300,000 to the left-wing National Lawyers Guild of Los Angeles. The group said it earmarked another $150,000 to secure bail for protesters.

It's unclear if the group followed through on those promises. Neither Black Lives Matter Los Angeles nor the National Lawyers Guild of Los Angeles are required to report their donors. The groups did not respond to requests for comment.

Shortly thereafter, Corado posted that his group had started sending out "some of the over $2 million" it raised, adding that he would give "periodic updates about those payments as they happen." That was Corado's last GoFundMe update, and the People’s City Council website does not offer any insight into the group’s financial activities.

Amid the success of its first GoFundMe, the People’s City Council launched a separate fundraising push that brought in more than $55,000 for a "general fund." That money, the group said, would help it "independently" raise funds and boost its local political advocacy.

Both of those GoFundMe campaigns are now disabled. The last donation to the group's general fund was two years ago.

The AIPAC chief’s home wasn’t the group's only target over the Thanksgiving holiday. The People’s City Council also protested at one of L.A.’s largest shopping centers on Black Friday, touting its "disruption" of a major commercial center. On Tuesday, the group likened its "struggle" to that of the Palestinians, saying Los Angeles police are "using Israeli software to track our phones and social medias." One day later, it likened Israel's military to the Ku Klux Klan.

"LAPD KKK IDF THEYRE ALL THE SAME," the group wrote.

Kanye West Slammed by Jewish Organizations Over ‘Jew Hating’ Lyrics to His ‘Vultures’ Song

Rapper and entrepreneur Kanye West is being slammed by prominent Jewish organizations over the lyrics to his new song “Vultures,” in which he is heard rapping, “How I’m anti-Semitic? I just fucked a Jewish bitch.”

“At a time of rising antisemitism worldwide, it’s disgusting to see Kanye once again use his platform to spew Jew hatred,” a spokesperson for the Anti-Defamation League told TMZ.

Listen Below:

“How I’m anti-Semitic? I just fucked a Jewish bitch,” West raps in the song.
The next line in the song’s lyrics appear to reference the rapper’s former manager, Scooter Braun, who is Jewish.

“I just fucked Scooter’s bitch and we ran up like Olympics, got pregnant in the threesome, so whose baby is it? Whose baby is it?” West continues.

The Jewish organizations told TMZ that the lyrics aren’t surprising given that they come from West, who they blasted as an “unrepentant antisemite and clearly a misogynist.”

Meanwhile, Richard Hirschhaut, a spokesperson for the Jewish global advocacy organization, American Jewish Committee, told the outlet that while the “Heartless” rapper’s unapologetic antisemitism is well-documented, his latest remarks seems “particularly pathetic and sad.”

“To fuel the flames of antisemitism and promote such bile to his millions of followers, especially at this fraught and dangerous time for the Jewish community, is unforgivable,” Richard said.

West’s new song features fellow rappers Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Durk, and Bump J., and was released earlier this month on Chicago radio station WPWX Power 92. The tune was performed for the first time over the weekend at a nightclub in Dubai. It has not yet appeared on streaming services.

The Most Pro-Hamas Presidential Candidate Blamed Black Antisemitism on Israel Being Mean to Hamas

Nothing appeals to the needs of "poor and working people" like supporting Hamas.

Cornel West, Marxist, 9/11 Truther, Hamas supporter, took his 2024 presidential bid outside the Green Party because apparently it just wasn’t evil enough.

And is currently attacking Senator Bernie Sanders as insufficiently supportive of Hamas.

West called Sanders and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), another popular progressive in Congress, “window dressing at worst, and, at best, people to appeal to every four years.”

“But the Democratic Party is beyond redemption at this point when it comes to seriously speaking to the needs of poor and working people,” West maintained.

Nothing says appealing to the needs of “poor and working people” like supporting Hamas.

Discover the Networks, a project of the David Horowitz Freedom Center, recently updated its profile of Cornel West. And its shows that Cornel West has been playing this game for a long time.

In “Black Anti-Semitism and the Rhetoric of Resentment,” a 1992 article that West wrote for Michael Lerner’s Tikkun, he blamed black anti-Semitism on, among other things, “the [Israeli] occupation of the West Bank and Gaza”

Yes, I can’t help but think that’s exactly where black antisemitism originates from.

The Cornel West profile is one of the many profiles of leftist radicals and extremists destroying America at Discover the Networks.

Alice Walker Disinvited From Book Festival

Can you guess what the organizers discovered?

Thu Apr 7, 2022

Hugh Fitzgerald

Alice Walker, the author of The Color Purple, has been disinvited from a book festival when the organizers discovered her long history of antisemitic remarks about Jews and Israel, the Jewish state that she often compares to Nazi Germany. A report on the reasons for her being uninvited is here: “California Book Festival Rescinds Invitation to Author Alice Walker Over Past Antisemitic Comments,” by Shiryn Ghermezian, Algemeiner, March 29, 2022:

A book festival in California has disinvited Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist and poet Alice Walker from its event due to the author’s history of making antisemitic remarks about Jews and Israel, The Jewish News of Northern California reported on Friday.

Walker, 78, was scheduled to interview writer Honorée Fanonne Jeffers, at the latter’s request, at the headlining event of the annual Bay Area Book Festival, which will take place May 7-8 in downtown Berkeley and is set to feature over 250 authors. The festival is the main project of the Foundation for the Future of Literature and Literacy, a California non-profit organization.

Organizers cancelled Walker’s participation in the festival on Thursday after being informed about her past hateful comments, according to The Jewish News of Northern California. Jeffers subsequently pulled out of the festival in response, the festival’s publicist Julia Drake told the outlet.…

Walker, who was the first Black woman to win a Pulitzer Prize for fiction for “The Color Purple” in 1983, has repeatedly compared Israel to Nazi Germany and is an avid supporter of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement. In 2011, she claimed, “I think Israel is the greatest terrorist in that part of the world. And I think in general, the United States and Israel are great terrorist organizations themselves.” That same year she said Israel is “as frightening to many of us as Germany used to be.” Walker has also made antisemitic claims about Jews and Israel in her poetry.

Walker has been obsessed with Jews and Israel for years. She frequently compares Israel to Nazi Germany, and attacks the Talmud as an evil and racist document. In 2018, she promoted a book by British antisemite and conspiracy theorist David Icke, And the Truth Shall Set You Free, during an interview with The New York Times. In the book, Icke claims that Jews control the world and quotes frequently from the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Icke, whose work Alice Walker so admires, describes the Talmud as “among the most appallingly racist documents on the planet,” and claimed that Jewish organizations are secretly behind various racist groups, including the Ku Klux Klan.

Walker’s interview of the writer Honorée Fannone Jeffers was to have been the headline event at the Bay Area Book Festival. Jeffers, as the writer being honored in this fashion, had insisted that Walker be her interviewer. Jeffers must have known, when she chose her, Walker’s history of antisemitism, her repeated denunciations of Jews, Judaism, and Israel. She would have known Walker’s work, including the very long 2017 poem Walker wrote in which she called Israeli rule “demonic to the core,” and suggested that to understand “the inspiration for so much evil,” one must “study The Talmud” and “its poison.” Jeffers apparently was not bothered by any of this; she wanted Walker and no one else to interview her. And when Walker was disinvited because of her history of antisemitism Jeffers, in a sign of solidarity with Walker, refused to appear at the Book Festival.

Walker’s hatred of Israel is extraordinary. She told an Israeli publisher in 2012 that she does not allow The Color Purple to be translated into Hebrew because “Israel is guilty of apartheid and persecution of the Palestinian people, both inside Israel and also in the Occupied Territories.”

The organizers of the Bay Area Book Festival had apparently not known the extent of her demented antisemitism, when they chose her to interview Honorée Fannone Jeffers at the headline event, did not know the full extent of her hatred of Israel – “demonic to the core” — the Jewish state that she compares to Nazi Germany, nor her deep hatred of Judaism, and that Talmud whose “poison” she denounces. But when it was brought to their attention, the organizers of the Bay Area Book Festival did the right thing, and at once disinvited the disgraceful Alice Walker. It is heartening that there was no wobbling on the issue, once the evidence of her malignant obsession was presented, no attempt to explain away or hide her spittle-flecked hatred. She won’t be an honored guest; she won’t be anything at all, at the Bay Area Book Festival. That’s as it should be.

Cornel West Blames ‘Racism’ for Harvard President’s Resignation in ‘Antisemitic’ Post43
