AS SICK AND CORRUPT AS THE N.A.F.T.A. DEMOCRAT PARTY IS, WE ONLY HAVE TO LOOK AT THE REPUBLICANS TO SEE HOW BAD OFF WE ARE! TAKE A LOOK AT CHINA'S BOYTOY MITCH McCONNELL!!!!

THE GOP HAS NEVER, EVER, EVER DONE ANYTHING FOR MIDDLE AMERICA. DEMS HAVE SYSTEMATICALLY DESTROYED MIDDLE AMERICA AND HANDED THE PIECES, ALONG WITH OUR JOBS, TO ILLEGALS!

The countdown to the 2024 election is already underway, with the odds of a Trump-Biden rematch appearing more likely by the day. It is of paramount importance that the integrity of the 2024 election is not questioned en masse by either side. We need to return to a time when the American people overwhelmingly trusted the veracity of elections. We need to keep things simple and transparent when it comes to the voting process. We need to know with a high degree of certainty that our elections are free and fair. We need to know that our vote still actually matters.

What’s to Blame for GOP Fundraising Woes

For those confused by the odd paradox of the Democrats out-raising the GOP by a 3:1 margin despite historic unpopularity at the top of their ticket, consider this anecdote from October 2017.

Rep. Tim Murphy (R-Pa.) resigned from his congressional seat after it was revealed that he had engaged in an extramarital affair.  The scandal was compounded by the fact that Rep. Murphy, a staunch defender of the pro-life movement, reportedly encouraged his mistress to get an abortion when they thought she might be pregnant.

The real gut-punch of the scandal was the text that Rep. Murphy sent disavowing pro-life messages released from his own campaign.  Upon his mistress calling out his hypocrisy in suggesting an abortion despite his anti-abortion advocacy at events such as March for Life, he responded: “I get what you say about my March for life messages. I’ve never written them. Staff does them. I read them and winced. I told staff don’t write any more. I will.”

Hypocrites, at the very least, know that what they are doing is wrong.  They believe in the truth of their causes but are too weak to live up to their own standards.  In the case of Rep. Murphy, it appeared that he didn’t believe in the pro-life movement.

This anecdote is a symptom of a larger issue within the GOP: elected leaders being ineffective at best, and full-fledged leftist at worst.  Indeed, this phenomenon was broadly covered in an April 2023 article by Daily Wire investigative reporter Luke Rosiak, who noted that the most left-leaning GOP state representatives on average were found in states with the largest Republican majorities, such as Utah, Wyoming, and South Carolina — a stark contrast to Democrats, who pass radical legislation even with the slimmest majorities.  Too often, it seems that elections have consequences, but only when the Democrats win; the best one can hope for when voting Republican is that he can, at least temporarily, serve as a foil to the Progressives’ most radical policies.  Running candidates who can actually win is key, of course, but at some point, conservatives need to see tangible results, actual policy victories that not only slow the tide of progressive policies, but also begin to reverse them.  In this economy, donating hard-earned dollars to whatever silver tongued clean-cut businessman-veteran-Christian-family-man cookie-cutter candidate the GOP establishment trots out is too large a gamble for many to take.  We’ve been burned too many times.

Donald Trump is the antithesis of everything we would expect from a Republican political figure.  His speaking style, though highly effective, could hardly be called eloquent.  He’s a successful businessman, sure, but doesn’t have the dignified political legacy of, say, the Romneys, nor can he claim a compelling “rags to riches” journey like a Vivek Ramaswamy.  Perhaps most damning is that his personal life has been tabloid fodder for decades.  And, despite his strong rhetoric, Trump is far from an ideologue, exhibiting surprising flexibility on a range of issues.  To the shock of the political elite, Trump is perhaps the most resilient political figure in all of human history, as he is poised to potentially win a second term despite the two impeachments, absurd lawsuits, primary challenges, January 6, and all the other “scandals” the media have brewed up.

Why?  Because for the first time in nearly 40 years, it feels as though the conservative movement has more to offer than just being a bulwark against the radical left.  We see actual pushback, tangible progress.  Trump, regardless of how he may feel personally about abortion, showed extreme political courage in getting three conservatives appointed to the Supreme Court who have been instrumental in major legal victories, most notably the overturning of Roe v. Wade.  For the first time in decades, the world under Trump’s leadership became more stable as his administration defied conventional foreign policy wisdom to negotiate the Abraham Accords, a stark contrast to the global chaos under nearly every other administration over the past half-century.  His tax and regulatory cuts contributed to a booming economy.  Perhaps most significantly, his energy policies led to energy independence for the first time in 70 years.  Border crossings were at their lowest levels since 1971.  These policy goals have not been unique, historically, within the Republican party; the difference is that Trump actually accomplished them.  As a result, and despite his bombast and larger-than-life persona as an entertainer, Trump’s visit to East Palestine, Ohio somehow seemed far more real and sincere than anything else coming out of D.C. (or, for that matter, any state capital).

That isn’t to say that Trump’s record is perfect.  A critic may reasonably bring up, for example, his failure to cut spending.  That criticism is valid, but of course no president has cut the national debt since the Coolidge administration.  The U.S. response to COVID-19 is another frequent line of attack — but do you think the Republicans of elections past, the Bush/McCain/Romneys of the world, would have opened the country sooner?  Or the other GOP contenders in 2016?  Would some of the GOP governors who showed enough political courage to keep their states open behaved the same way if they faced re-election that fall?

I say this not to excuse any policy shortcomings from the Trump administration, but until the GOP consistently wins victories on spending cuts, such attacks seem a bit hollow.

What is most revealing, however, is the utter silence of Trump’s biggest critics in the GOP — the Paul Ryans, Mitt Romneys, George Bushes, and Liz Cheneys of the world — against some of the left’s most egregious policies.  George W. Bush famously ran an unapologetic Evangelical, pro-life campaign.  Why isn’t he on every conservative news outlet expressing outrage over the arrest of six peaceful pro-life protesters in the U.S.?  The former president lamented the risk to Afghan girls following the U.S. withdrawal in Afghanistan.  Why isn’t he more outraged over the erasure of women here?  Sen. Romney has expressed opposition to men participating in women’s sports; why didn’t he express outrage at his own state’s Republican governor for vetoing a bill that protected women’s sports?

These are names that once wielded significant influence within the Republican party, and these figures still hold some sway over the more moderate factions of the base; they still have an audience on establishment media platforms, and they could help move the needle on many of the issues that used to be central to their campaign promises.  The fact that they use their platform to clutch their pearls every time Trump makes an off-the-cuff remark but stand on the sidelines as the very values they claim to cherish — patriotism, religion, and family — suffer irreparable damage under Biden, demonstrates their lack of any actual core beliefs or moral clarity.  The politicians with seemingly impeccable character govern as cowards, while the billionaire playboy delivers with conviction.  If only the rest of the party showed half of that conviction or fight.

Despite progress and policy success under Trump, the GOP faces a turbulent future.  Coming off a bitterly disappointing 2022 midterm, Trump-endorsed MAGA candidates must prove that they can win consistently to justify campaign donations.  More importantly, the GOP as a whole must convince its voters that, if successful, they can actually govern effectively and implement conservative policies.

Unfortunately, the latter seems highly unlikely, considering just a few recent headlines, from the Senate’s weak immigration bill pushed by several high-profile Republicans to the GOP’s disgraceful inability to unite long enough to impeach Alejandro Mayorkas in the House.  At the state level, in Ohio, Governor Mike DeWine became the fourth Republican governor to veto legislation that banned boys from participating in women’s sports.  (Fortunately, this veto was overridden.)  If most elected Republicans don’t really believe even in fundamental issues such as border security and biological reality, one can hardly blame donors for being skittish, with or without Ronna McDaniel at the head.

Republican bid to flip US Senate grows complicated as Montana primary gets competitiveBy MATTHEW BROWNAssociated PressThe Associated PressBILLINGS, Mont.

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — Montana Republican U.S. Rep. Matt Rosendale plans to run for U.S. Senate, upending a race in which many national GOP officials already coalesced around a different candidate as they seek to unseat three-term Democrat U.S. Sen. Jon Tester.

Rosendale’s intentions were disclosed Wednesday by two people close to the congressman. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to publicly release details of the announcement expected at a state GOP gathering this weekend.

The move sets up a bitter June 4 primary battle between the firebrand conservative Rosendale and former Navy SEAL Tim Sheehy, whose backers include Montana U.S. Sen. Steve Daines, chair of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, and other prominent Senate Republicans.

GOP leaders are eager to unseat Tester as they try to wrest control of the Senate from Democrats, who hold a slim majority and will have several vulnerable incumbents on the 2024 ballot, including Tester.

Rosendale already lost to Tester once, in a 2018 bid for the Senate. The Republican was serving as state auditor at the time, and he was strongly backed by then-President Donald Trump, who had a personal grievance with Tester and visited Montana repeatedly after Tester derailed Trump’s Veterans Affairs nominee.

Rosendale had been goading Republican leaders and hinting at a possible run for months. That has frustrated GOP officials and members of his own Congressional delegation who wanted the party to unite behind Sheehy.

“It highlights divisions within the Republican Party,” said political analyst Jeremy Johnson at Carroll College in Helena, Montana. “Certainly, they’ll both be spending money in the primary campaign. If it gets really negative, that’s certainly a benefit for the Democratic candidate.”

In social media posts and public pronouncements, Rosendale routinely bashes Republicans such as Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell for not being conservative enough. He has also denounced GOP leaders who Rosendale claims discouraged him from running.

Running as the outsider is a turn of the tables for Rosendale: As the anointed GOP candidate in 2018, he benefited from the National Republican Senatorial Committee and other Washington-based groups pouring millions of dollars into Montana to boost his chances against Tester. A spokesperson for the Republican senate committee did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Despite Sheehy’s allure to national party leaders, Rosendale maintains significant support within Montana. Dozens of GOP state lawmakers last summer encouraged him to run. In the House, he represents a solidly Republican district covering most of eastern and central Montana and easily fended off his challengers in 2022. That meant he had a relatively easy path to re-election if he had sought a third term.

In Washington, Rosendale is among the House’s most hard-right conservatives and a member of the House Freedom Caucus. He banded with seven other members of his party in October to oust Republican Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

He supports Trump, voted against certifying the 2020 election, and cosponsored legislation with Republican U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz to defund Jack Smith’s investigation into Trump’s alleged storage of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago. This week Rosendale joined with other conservatives to propose a resolution declaring that Trump did not engage in insurrection when his supporters violently attacked the Capitol on Jan 6, 2021, after his election loss to Democrat Joe Biden.

Sheehy entered the race last June and quickly picked up support both from GOP officials in Washington and some leading Republicans in Montana such as Gov. Greg Gianforte and Rep. Ryan Zinke. He runs an aerial firefighting company, Bridger Aerospace, which he founded near Bozeman. He moved to Montana in 2014 after growing up in Minnesota.

This is his first run for public office, meaning he has no voting track record that could be used against him during the campaign. A spokesperson for Sheehy declined to comment on Rosendale’s plan to enter the race.

Tester is a farmer and former state lawmaker who was first elected to the Senate in 2006 with an upset victory over three-term Republican incumbent Conrad Burns. The Democratic moderate won his next two contests also by narrow margins, including a 3.5-percentage-point victory over Rosendale, who was dubbed “Maryland Matt” by Democrats playing up the Republican’s out-of-state origins.

Money from outside groups drove up overall spending in that race to more than $60 million, shattering prior records for Montana elections. Advertising for the 2024 race already has begun to flood Montana’s airwaves.

Montana has veered sharply right politically since Tester first took office. He is now the only Democrat holding statewide office in the Treasure State, where the Legislature and governor’s office also are in Republican hands.

Republican Brad Johnson, a former secretary of state, had previously announced he would seek the GOP nomination to challenge Tester. But Democrats in Montana for months have relished the notion of a Sheehy-Rosendale matchup. They hope the two Republicans will undercut each other — and their party’s standing among voters — as they fiercely compete to win the primary.

“Buckle up for the battle of the out-of-staters,” Montana Democratic Party spokesperson Hannah Rehm said Wednesday. “Montanans are going to see how out of touch Maryland Matt and Transplant Tim are with our state.”

SINCE BILLARY CLINTON, DEMOCRATS HAVE BECOME THE PARTY OF BANKSTERS FOR BOTTOMLESS BAILOUTS, BILLIONAIRES FOR OPEN BORDERS TO KEEP WAGES DEPRESSED, AND PARASITE LAWYERS, OF WHICH, THE PARTY IS INFESTED WITH. BEYOND THAT, IT'S ALL ABOUT SERVING THE RICH!

Biden's broken borders, welfare, and America's coming collapse

    By Andrea Widburg

America’s greatest economist ever was Milton Friedman. (Incidentally, the second greatest, a living treasure, is Thomas Sowell, who learned from Milton Friedman.) In an era before terrorists traveled across national borders, Friedman was a believer in the free movement of people. However, he was not a believer in giving immigrants welfare or votes, for he understood that combining these things would break the system. So, would it surprise you to know that a significant majority of people entering America under Biden’s illegal open border policy are on welfare?

Wall Street has always liked the idea of open borders because it sees people chasing jobs, thereby increasing wealth. A certain sector has also liked the idea of unlettered immigrants who can easily be exploited, but that’s another subject entirely.

Another group that likes open borders is leftists. As this UMinn professor made clear, they loath America, and a country without borders isn’t a country at all.

    Image: America’s non-existent border. X screen grab.

This is great for Biden because his illegal open border caters to both demographics, Wall Street and the hard left. It’s not often that you get a political two-fer quite like that.

Milton Friedman, who believed in the free flow of capital, also liked open borders. However, he had a very firm caveat: “It’s just obvious you can't have free immigration and a welfare state.” More than that, as Robert Rector explained (and Mitt Romney inartfully tried to explain, too), there’s a problem when those receiving welfare vote:

There is a rough one-to-one fiscal balance between low-skill immigrant families and upper-middle-class families. It takes the entire net tax payments (taxes paid minus benefits received) of one college-educated family to pay for the net benefits received by one low-skill immigrant family. Even Julian Simon, the godfather of open-border advocates, acknowledged that imposing such a burden on taxpayers was unreasonable, stating, "immigrants who would be a direct economic burden upon citizens through the public coffers should have no claim to be admitted" into the nation.

There is also a political dimension to the transfer state. Elections in modern societies are, to a considerable degree, referenda on the magnitude of future income redistribution. An immigration policy which grants citizenship to vast numbers of low-skill, low-income immigrants not only creates new beneficiaries for government transfers, but new voters likely to support even greater transfers in the future.

The grant of citizenship is a transfer of political power. Access to the U.S. ballot box also provides access to the American taxpayer's bank account. This is particularly problematic with regard to low-skill immigrants. Within an active redistributionist state, as Friedman understood, unlimited immigration can threaten limited government.

So we’ve got open borders and a leftist push for non-citizen voting (along with child and felon voting), meaning we’re two-thirds of the way there.

But what about that welfare component? Well, we’re almost two-thirds of the way there, too, according to a study from the Center for Immigration Studies:

    · The 2022 SIPP indicates that 54 percent of households headed by immigrants — naturalized citizens, legal residents, and illegal immigrants — used one or more major welfare program. This compares to 39 percent for U.S.-born households.

    · The rate is 59 percent for non-citizen households (e.g. green card holders and illegal immigrants).

    · Compared to households headed by the U.S.-born, immigrant-headed households have especially high use of food programs (36 percent vs. 25 percent for the U.S.-born), Medicaid (37 percent vs. 25 percent for the U.S.-born), and the Earned Income Tax Credit (16 percent vs. 12 percent for the U.S.-born).

    · Our best estimate is that 59 percent of households headed by illegal immigrants, also called the undocumented, use at least one major program. We have no evidence this is due to fraud. Among legal immigrants we estimate the rate is 52 percent.

At this rate, in a very short time, we’ll have achieved the broken borders dream of Wall Street and the left. Wall Street will be fine because its members are globalists and because, to the extent the government keeps growing, they’ve already entered into a partnership with the government (i.e., fascism). And, of course, leftists will have their dream of America’s collapse.

Meanwhile, ordinary Americans will soon find themselves living out that leftist dream, which will inevitably result in a failed state. If you want to know what that looks like, it won’t be a socialist paradise. It will be South Africa, Uganda, or another of the earth’s desperate, famine-ridden, violent hellholes.

The Supreme Court, in an utterly misbegotten decision, said anyone in America must get welfare. I suggest that the next sane government cut off all that welfare and let the court revisit it. And while that process is grinding on, lots of those illegal households will self-report.

The upcoming election is our last chance—more of the same or a sharp U-Turn. Nikki Haley, incidentally, is more of the same. She talks tough but caves whenever the left comes calling. Trump and DeSantis have both followed through on their promises, and Vivek Ramaswamy truly is saying all the correct things about saving America. We’ve got choices. Don’t mess this up.

Breitbart Editor-in-Chief and New York Times bestselling Breaking Biden author Alex Marlow told YouTuber Stephen Gardner the Bidens would be in “handcuffs” if the United States “had a responsible Department of Justice.”

Chamber of Commerce Endorses Lankford Plan to Reward Corporations with More Foreign Workers

The United States Chamber of Commerce, representing the nation’s biggest multinational corporations, has endorsed Sen. James Lankford’s (R-OK) bill that would reward companies with more foreign workers to hire for American jobs.

The bill, negotiated by Lankford as well as Sens. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) and Chris Murphy (D-CT), would increase the number of foreign workers by nearly 20,000 annually who can score green cards to take mostly white-collar professional jobs.

The Chamber of Commerce, which advocates for a flooded labor market where corporations have unlimited access to hire foreign workers, endorsed the bill.

“The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is pleased to see desperately needed border security, asylum, and immigration reforms included in the emergency supplemental funding proposal before the U.S. Senate,” the Chamber’s Neil Bradley said in a statement:

The economic disruption and human suffering wrought by our border crisis have become so severe that Congress cannot afford to ignore these problems any longer. We look forward to working with Members of Congress to pass these commonsense measures that will improve America’s security by addressing our southern border and supporting Ukraine and Israel. [Emphasis added]

Sinema, who helped craft the bill, counts the Chamber as one of her biggest donors. This year, alone, the Chamber’s political action committee (PAC) has thrown $10,000 her way for her expected re-election bid.

From 2018 through 2020, the Chamber’s PAC gave Sinema $3,500.

NumbersUSA CEO James Massa said the bill, overall, will add about 250,000 legal immigrants to the U.S. over five years — in addition to the already five million legal immigrants who are likely to arrive in the U.S. over that same period.

“NumbersUSA stands strongly against the so-called Senate ‘Border Deal’ because it increases legal immigration and fails to do anything to make the border secure,” Massa said:

Despite recent polling that show sensible immigration and a secure border are priorities for voters of both parties, the Senate proposal codifies into law illegal immigration minimums of over 500,000 per year, increases legal immigration by over 50,000 each year, and handcuffs future administrations from reversing the Biden administration’s open border policies. [Emphasis added]

In another giveaway to corporate America, the bill gives indefinite work permits to the adult children of foreign H-1B visa workers. As Breitbart News has chronicled for years, the H-1B visa program is rife with fraud and abuse where American professionals are often laid off after having been forced to train their foreign replacements.

The bill’s provisions to increase the number of foreign workers in the U.S. labor market comes even as President Joe Biden has driven the foreign workforce to the highest level in American history.

At the same time, as experts have testified to Congress, tens of millions of Americans remain on the labor market sidelines. Just last month, economist E.J. Antoni noted that new jobs have “all gone to foreign-born workers…”

“Not only are native-born workers way below their pre-pandemic trend, but they’re even below the pre-pandemic level,” Antoni wrote on Twitter. “In just the last year, a net 193k native-born workers lost their jobs, while a net 1.2 million foreign-born workers gained jobs and the number of people missing from the labor force remains stubbornly high, artificially reducing the unemployment rate.”

Nolte — Biden Admin: Martha’s Vineyard Eligible for ‘Low Income’ EV Charger Subsidies

The Biden administration says parts of Martha’s Vineyard qualify for low-income electric vehicle (EV) subsidies.

“Numerous elite hangouts and locales — including Montauk and Fishers Island in New York, and parts of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket in Massachusetts — are among the areas” that the Biden administration says qualify as “low-income” and are therefore “eligible for receipt of EV charger subsidies,” reports the Daily Caller.

The White House explained the tax subsidy this way:

This tax credit provides up to 30% off the cost of the charger to individuals and businesses in low-income communities and non-urban areas, making it more affordable to install EV charging infrastructure and increasing access to EV charging in underserved communities.

The Daily Caller points out that to meet the “low income” definition, a “Census tract must have a poverty rate of 20% or more.” The loophole being used to qualify some of the wealthiest places in the country is found in the following: “An area can qualify if the median family income is below 80% of the median family income in the wider metropolitan area or in its state if a given Census tract is not part of any particular metropolitan area.”

    The Daily Caller explains:

In practice, however, the latter definition for a “low-income” area enables places that may not be colloquially considered “low-income” to qualify for the credit by virtue of being located in a wealthy state or metropolitan area.

For example, nearly half of the landmass of Nantucket Island, one of the ritziest summer vacation destinations favored by New England’s elite, is eligible for EV charger subsidies, according to the DOE’s interactive eligibility map.

Also eligible: pockets of Cape Cod, including the ritzy Hyannis; all of the exclusive Fishers Island; much of Montau; a three-block area of Manhattan’s Upper East Side; “large swaths of San Francisco;” and “several blocks of the renowned Beverly Hills.”

To normal people, this sounds counterintuitive. Why subsidize places that obviously don’t need subsidies? But that’s not how government works, especially the federal government. The more people and places that these godless bureaucrats qualify as “poor” or “low income” or whatever, the more people and land mass the government seizes control over.

In this case, the corrupt Democrats (including Biden) currently in charge of the administration are eager to pour money down the black hole of electric vehicles. In their demented minds, they actually believe that if America is full of chargers, idiot Americans will invest in the boondoggle of an EV. The fact that there’s an ongoing backlash against EVs or that they are impractical and will remain so for the foreseeable future makes no difference to the left. Utopia will be jammed down our throats, no matter what.

The real irony here is that subsidizing chargers in ritzy locales is a totally unnecessary government expenditure in a time of crippling inflation that was brought on by excessive government spending. Are you ready for the best part? This entire “subsidy” boondoggle is part of Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act, which is nothing more than a “climate justice” bill that increases inflation with this insane and unnecessary spending.

Nolte: Record-High Credit Card Debt Brutalizes Middle Class in Biden’s America

Record-high credit card debt is brutalizing “mostly lower- and middle-income Americans, who tend to be renters,” the far-left Associated Press reported.

The AP piece itself is a joke. Over and over again, it attempts to gaslight the American people into voting for another term of failed Bidenomics with statements like… “While the U.S. economy is broadly healthy” — and — “The U.S. economy is currently performing better than most forecasters expected a year ago.”

    UAW Economy

The AP wants us to forget the truth of how Bidenflation has gutted everyone’s purchasing power and the consequences of that:

Americans held more than $1.05 trillion on their credit cards in the third quarter of 2023, a record, and a figure certain to grow once the fourth-quarter data is released by Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. next month. A recent report from the credit rating company Moody’s showed that credit card delinquency rates and charge-off rates, or the percent of loans that a bank believes will never be repaid, are now well above their 2019 levels and are expected to keep climbing.

These worrisome metrics coincide with the average interest rate on a bank credit card of roughly 21.5%, the highest it’s been since the Federal Reserve started tracking the data in 1994.

And then we get more of this: “Overall, the consumer is credit healthy[.]”

No one paying $4.50 for a dozen eggs, or who speeds off alone after dropping $16 at the Taco Bell drive-thru, believes anything is “healthy” about this economy.

    This is the bottom line…

Biden flooded a country that already has a housing shortage with roughly eight million illegal aliens… Biden flooded a country already dealing with crippling inflation with roughly eight million illegal consumers… Biden flooded a country already dealing with stagnant wages with roughly eight million illegal cheap employees…

What do you get in that situation? Read on…

“You have these noticeable pockets of consumers — mostly middle- and lower-income renters who have not benefitted from the wealth effect of higher housing prices and stock prices,” Warren Kornfeld, a senior vice president at Moody’s, told the AP. He added that these people “are feeling financial stress, and that’s driving up these delinquency levels. They’ve been hit very hard by inflation.”

    Keyword: “renters.”

Owning a home is not one key to financial stability; it is THE key. On top of flooding the country with illegal Democrats, the left has done everything in its power, primarily through anti-science/reality environmental regulations, to discourage home ownership. Even if a builder can obtain the permits to build a single-family home, the regulations explode the price out of the reach of millions.

This is deliberate. Homeownership changes people. Issues such as crime, taxes, schools, zoning, and the desire to be left alone suddenly become important. Not a single one of these issues benefits Democrats. The Democrat party wants you to be poor, dependent, bitter, entitled, and angry. The last thing the left wants is you sitting on your porch, coming to the following epiphany: Why are all these people on welfare? I made it through hard work and sacrifice. They can too.

And then there’s the modern slavery of debt, especially credit card debt.

Someone famously said that Freedom’s just another word for nothing left to lose, but that’s not it. The ultimate freedom comes from not wanting or needing anything. If you’re buried in debt, be it credit card or student loan debt, you’re a slave. That debt owns you, which means you need to pay it off, and that compromises every part of your life — what kind of job you might have to work, how much you can save to buy a house, and your overall standard of living.

Here’s what I mean… Let’s say you have $6,000 in credit card debt with a standard 18 percent interest rate, and you choose to make the minimum payment every month (three percent of the balance)… If you do not add another penny in debt to that card, you still won’t pay it off until the year 2039. Oh, and you will have paid $5,728 in interest on top of the $6,000 principle.

Think of everything you could have done with the $5,728 you just flushed down the toilet, including saving it towards a down payment on a house.

The money Americans squander paying interest is nuts. For example, if you have a $250,000, 30-year fixed mortgage at 6 percent interest and make the minimum payment over those 30 years, that $250,000 mortgage will cost you $540,000 or $290,000 in interest. That’s nearly $300,000 above the cost of your home. You’re flushing $10K a year down the toilet in interest payments. But…

If you add a measly $200 to your monthly mortgage payment, instead of paying it off in 30 years, it will be paid off in 22 years. And instead of paying $290,000 in interest, you will pay just $203,000. That’s an $83,000 savings over 22 years.

Debt is just another version of the Company Store — a way to keep you down, so you keep working every day, keep loading those 16 tons.

IS JOJO NO LONGER LYING THAT HE'S FLOODED AMERICA WITH ILLEGALS?

The Democrats Create an Alice in the Looking Glass World

Like Alice dropped into an illogical world, I’m looking at the past week and seeing a chaotic, topsy-turvy, irrational series of policies, events, and outcomes. There are many possible examples to choose from. I’ve chosen four: The open border, the inexplicable disparities in the handling of crimes by Democrat district attorneys, the Administration’s song and dance with Iran and UNRWA, and China, and there’s a degree of overlap in some of these.

    North of the Border

Millions of people -- mostly military-age men -- from almost every country on the globe are being processed by the Borden Patrol and released with orders to show up for hearings, many not set for several years distant, during which time the Democrats will certainly seek an electoral advantage. Since districting for voting and disbursement of federal funds is based on the number of residents, regardless of their legal status, districts with lots of illegals will get a weighted advantage. Most of the asylum applications are groundless, but most likely, the Democrats will seek amnesty for these millions. President Trump had begun wall construction and set in place policies to stop this. Within 100 days of taking office, Biden took 94 executive actions which smoothed the way for the massive influx of illegal immigrants. Legalizing them will effectively create a one-party state. Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who is now facing impeachment proceedings, worked to make deportation of these people nearly impossible. Elon Musk on X:

“Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas issued written guidance making it clear that: 1. Illegal presence alone is not grounds for deportation. 2. Criminal charges, convictions or gang membership alone are not enough for deportation. You basically have to be a convicted axe murderer to be deported!“

The Supreme Court has made it nearly impossible for states to act when the federal government will not stem the invasion. Jonathan Turley:

[T] his crisis is the result of decades of court rulings expanding executive powers while limiting the ability to challenge those policies. The court’s decisions narrowing standing have been deleterious, limiting those who can challenge unlawful or unconstitutional acts by the federal government.

States such as Texas are absolutely correct that this is a breach of the original understanding with the federal government. The combination of the sweeping preemption by the courts and diminishing enforcement by the agencies has left states as mere observers to their own destruction. It is like watching your house burn down as the fire department works primarily to prevent anyone else from putting it out.

The Biden fire department is claiming that, just as it has the authority to put out fires, it has the authority to let them burn .

    Irrational Democrat Law Enforcement

A pack of illegal migrants attacked New York City policemen. Videos captured the assault, and several of the men were arrested. District Attorney Alvin Bragg arranged for them to be released on bail, and they were photographed laughing and flipping off photographers.  Then, using  false names, they persuaded a sympathetic-to-illegals charity to give them bus transportation to California, where they will receive “free health  care, housing, food subsidies, scholarships for illegal aliens in Gavin Newsom’s $ 68-billion-in-the-red state.”  Confronted by a reporter concerning the no-bail policy for illegal criminals, New York's Governor Kathy Hochul suggested they be deported, contrary to sanctuary cities in both states.

Questioned why he chose to arrest and demand $100,000 bail for Daniel Perry, who saved a subway car full of passengers from a violent man threatening them, while at the same time seeking no bail for illegals who beat up cops, Bragg said he lacked evidence to hold them, this despite all the passengers who supported Penny and thanked him, and the assault of law enforcement officers being on videotape. The message is this -- in Bragg’s NYC jurisdiction, we’re going to allow people to brutally attack you with little consequence, and you dare not defend against that.

A congressional aide engaged in anal intercourse in a Capitol hearing room, videotaped it, and made it public. The U.S. Capitol Police declined to charge him, though imprisoned Jacob Chansley and most of the other January 6 defendants engaged in no misuse of government property when they walked through rope lines in the Capitol and engaged in friendly exchanges with the Capitol Police while there. Instead of prosecuting felonies in the District of Columbia, the U.S. attorney for D.C. is still directing massive amounts of manpower to track down January 6 trespassers who reside around the country to prosecute them.

The District of Columbia is the site now of a really horrendous crime wave, including many brutal carjackings. The D.C. attorney general Brian Schwalb claims we can’t stop this by arresting the young men engaged in these crimes.

Fani Willis, who seeks to convict Donald Trump under some notion of RICO, now admits that she has a “personal relationship” with the man she hired to prosecute the case, a man with no experience in such prosecutions. Her paramour’s friends bankrolled her campaign and, in return, received lucrative contracts, and she is charged with having misused federal funds.

    Iran and UNRWA

Either Biden is stupid or he thinks we are. After repeated aggression by Iranian proxies, including the killing of three U.S. servicemen and women, the Administration said it was going to take countermeasures. It announced six days before acting where it was targeting and unsurprisingly, by the time it did so, the targets certainly had moved to safety. This is in line with its policies of giving Iran a free pass.

While Robert Malley was placed under FBI investigation and was removed from office as Biden’s Iran envoy, the administration has not deviated from the never-disclosed policy he set in 2016 while he was with the non-governmental agency, the International Crisis Group -- a Memorandum of Understanding with the Iranian Foreign Ministry. Biden will not enforce sanctions against Iran, has instituted no arms embargo against Iranian drone purchases, and has not interfered while Iran builds up its nuclear arsenal. Those drones Iran purchased are apparently the very ones the Iranian proxy Houthis are firing at vessels in the Red Sea. We keep announcing that we are shooting down those drones, but it’s a costly “victory.” The drones are worth about $50 thousand each, and the cost of destroying them before they damage our ships is in the millions. Certainly, reason suggests it’s time to destroy the drone launch pads and launchers and abandon Malley’s plan.

As to UNRWA, in the face of its proven collaboration with Hamas and participation in the attacks on Israel, a significant number of countries and the European Union have announced suspension of further contributions to the organization. Biden did as well. But -- hold on a minute -- we only suspended $300,000 of our contributions. So far this year, we have contributed $121 million dollars to UNRWA, doubtless a good deal of it after October 7. Remember, Trump suspended contributions to UNRWA, and Biden reinstated them.

    The Great Afghan Folly

Regarding our disastrous fast-footing out of Afghanistan, leaving a fortune in military equipment behind, a new Department of Defense IG report indicates that, in 2022 and 2023, we spent a total of $5.1 billion in fiscal years 2022 and 2023 to house, feed, transport, and resettle Afghan evacuees, and here’s the kicker: the beneficiary of all our labors, lost troops, and fortune expended in Afghanistan will be – guess who -- China.

“The Taliban has asked to join China’s Belt & Road initiative and has already signed contracts with China allowing the Communist regime to drill for oil and gas in Afghanistan and to mine lithium and copper in the mineral-rich country” per a Pentagon IG report.“

I wish, like Alice, we could all realize this was some kind of weird dream, but I know it isn’t.

Are We on The Doorstep of Another Civil War?

Before I get into my analysis, I want to make it clear I believe that anyone who wants a civil war to happen in the U.S. is dangerously naïve, insane, or working for one of America’s enemies.  Imagine a Russia-Ukraine-type conflict in the U.S.

Thanks to Hollywood, most Americans believe that rebellions can be started and won by small ragtag groups of patriots, freedom fighters, insurrectionists, or everyday common folk.  All you need are pistols, assault weapons, bows and arrows, and maybe a few Molotov cocktails.  Blow up the Death Star, and the problem is solved.

But that is not how it usually works.  Revolutions require armaments, soldiers, money, something worth fighting for, and popular support.  Unless lives are at stake, few people are angry or committed enough to leave jobs or families to risk going to jail or dying needlessly.

The most daunting task is overcoming the opposition.  The weaponry and manpower available to peacekeepers in our country is formidable.  This includes the local sheriff’s departments, city police, state police, National Guard, and various federal agencies, most notably the FBI.  Plus, in a crisis, these organizations will usually work together.  An uprising of twenty, fifty, or even a hundred-plus armed citizens would quickly fail.

Ever heard of the Whiskey Rebellion of 1794?  In 1791, Congress passed a distilled spirits tax.  Residents of western Pennsylvania, who used whiskey as money, protested and refused to pay the tax.  Sporadic acts of violence and resistance began, along with threats to secede from the Union.  The unrest culminated in 1794, when a group of around 600 armed citizens took a federal marshal prisoner.  When the government sent 13,000 troops, commanded by George Washington, to restore order, the rebels went home without firing a shot.

What about John Brown’s Raid?  In 1859, abolitionist John Brown and 21 other armed followers attempted to start a slave rebellion by capturing the Federal Arsenal in Harper’s Ferry, Virginia.  He and his followers were confronted by U.S. Marines, commanded by Colonel Robert E. Lee.  Ten of the rebels were killed during the ensuing firefight.  Seven more were tried and hanged later.

Remember the Weather Underground?  This was a Marxist antiwar faction that wanted to start a revolution by radicalizing students to oppose the Vietnam War.  The Weathermen, a group of around 400 people, were involved in numerous bombings of federal and state facilities between 1969 and 1973.  Almost all of them were eventually arrested and imprisoned.

This brings me to the two most significant military conflicts on American soil, pitting family against family and brother against brother.  One is the American Revolution, basically an English Civil War, and the other is the American Civil War.  One was fought over taxation and individual rights, the other over slavery and states’ rights.

The battles that started the Revolution were between the British army and the Massachusetts militia.  Some might equate the word “militia” with a mob.  But at that time, the militia was a legitimate military organization, like today’s National Guard.

On April 19, 1775, around 700 members of the British occupation force in Boston were sent to capture or destroy military supplies stored at Lexington and Concord.  During the early morning hours, the militia was warned that the British were coming, so individual units began to assemble while the military stores were being moved.

At Lexington, around 77 local militia faced roughly 400 British troops.  The militia realized they were heavily outnumbered and were about to disperse when someone fired a shot, prompting the British to open fire and charge.  Eight militia members were killed and several wounded.  This might have been swept under the rug as an unfortunate incident except for what happened at Concord.

At North Bridge, roughly 400 militiamen faced off against about 100 British soldiers.  As both sides maneuvered to control the bridge, supposedly, a panicked British soldier fired his musket.  Before their officers could stop it, other British soldiers opened fire.  In self-defense, the militia did the same, resulting in several killed and wounded on both sides.

As the British began to retreat, other militia units began to arrive.  Word of the casualties at Lexington and Concord had spread, prompting a running firefight between the militia and the British all the way to Boston.  In only one day, the situation had gone from an uneasy peace to an armed rebellion.  In 1776, the other colonies finally chose sides and declared their independence.

In 1860, the U.S. was divided over the issue of slavery.  When Abraham Lincoln, who supported the abolition of slavery, was elected president, seven Southern slave states decided to secede.  These states then asked that all federal facilities within their jurisdiction — forts, shipyards, etc. — be turned over to them.

However, Lincoln refused to give up Fort Sumter in South Carolina.  So, on April 12, 1861, the South Carolina militia opened fire with artillery and bombarded the fort.  Two days later, the small contingent of federal troops defending it surrendered.  Lincoln then issued a call for volunteers to fight the rebels.  At that point, the eight other slave states decided to either secede from the Union or stick with it.  Now that sides had been chosen and shots fired, the war began.

You might notice a pattern here.  First, important issues divide our country, like independence versus obedience to the king or slavery versus freedom.  Then, either a military skirmish occurs before sides get chosen or sides get chosen before the military gets involved.  Both the Revolution and the Civil War were started by state military organizations, not by groups of armed radicals.

We are at a similar junction in history right now.  Politics has divided the country, and the pivotal issue is unlimited illegal immigration.  Few wanted it.  No one expected it when he voted for Biden.  And now almost no one is willing to pay the price socially or financially to support it.

The White House may have believed that its open border policy would get someone, anyone, to pick up a gun to stop the madness.  It would give Biden an excuse to impose martial law, ban assault weapons or handguns, or both.  But the horde of right-wing extremists the far-left fantasizes about does not exist.

It seems the administration may have gone too far too fast.  The whole country is aware of this issue, and opposition is rising, leading the states to get directly involved.

The Texas National Guard has been sent to the border to stop the flow of migrants.  Roughly half of the states have declared their support for Texas.

If Democrats want to continue unlimited illegal immigration, Biden could nationalize the Texas National Guard, take control, and send it home.  But what happens if Texas says no?  Would Biden order the armed forces to disarm or attack the Texas Guard?  Would the use of the armed forces be legal?  Do Democrats care?

History tells us that civil wars happen when our country is divided and the states believe they must get involved.  That time may be at hand.

    Pray that sanity prevails.

Joe Biden’s Unvetted Afghans to Score Green Cards as Part of Senate Deal

Tens of thousands of Afghans, brought to the United States by President Joe Biden and whom whistleblowers have warned are not vetted would score green cards and eventually naturalized American citizenship as part of a deal negotiated in the Senate.

The deal, negotiated by Sens. James Lankford (R-OK), Chris Murphy (D-CT), and Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ), would increase annual legal immigration, permit thousands of illegal aliens to arrive at the southern border daily, and require the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to release thousands of border crossers into the U.S. interior every few days, among other things.

The senators are now also trying to slip a measure into the deal that would give green cards to tens of thousands of Afghans living in the United States. Those Afghans were resettled across the U.S. by the Biden administration in 2021 as part of the largest and quickest refugee resettlement operation in American history.

“The compromise is also expected to include provisions related to legal immigration. Negotiators have agreed to … offer permanent residency to tens of thousands of Afghans brought to the U.S. following the fall of Kabul in 2021,” CBS News reported.

The massive resettlement operation brought nearly 100,000 Afghans to American communities in a matter of months — often without having been interviewed in person.

US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations

The resettlement operation has been plagued with reported vetting failures since its inception when Afghans first started arriving at Dulles International Airport in 2021.

In April 2023, a former Department of Defense (DOD) official revealed to Congress that some Afghans were resettled in the U.S. before they were found to have been involved in placing improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in Afghanistan to kill American troops.

In 2021, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) requested information about the number of Afghans who sought entry to the U.S. who were listed on the federal government’s “No Fly List” because of their ties to Islamic terrorism. Biden’s top agency officials have refused to disclose the total.

In September 2022, the DHS Inspector General (IG) issued a bombshell report detailing how the Biden administration brought Afghans to the U.S. who were “not fully vetted” and could “pose a risk to national security.”

    C-SPAN

Similarly, in February 2022, a DOD IG report revealed that Biden’s agencies failed to properly vet Afghans who arrived in the U.S. and that about 50 Afghans were flagged for “significant security concerns” after their resettlement.

Most of the unvetted Afghans flagged for possible terrorism ties, the DOD IG report states, have since disappeared into American communities. The report noted that as of September 17, 2021, only three of 31 Afghans flagged with specific “derogatory information” could be located.

In August 2022, Sens. Josh Hawley (R-MO) and Ron Johnson (R-WI) detailed allegations from a whistleblower who claimed that the Biden administration knowingly resettled almost 400 Afghans in the U.S. who were listed as “potential threats” in federal databases and urged staff to cut corners in the vetting process.

In May 2022, a Project Veritas report alleged that the Biden administration resettled Afghans listed on the federal government’s “Terrorism Watch List” in American communities:

    Joe Biden, the demolition man

President Trump worked hard with Central America to close the border; on day one, Joe Biden worked very hard to open that border back up.

Trump worked very hard to cut off funds from Iran, to stop the sponsorship of terrorism, and Biden turned the spigot back on, deluging the regime with billions of dollars.

Trump gave the world the Abraham peace accords; Biden gave the world a massive disaster by sparking conflict after conflict between nations with fragile relations.

Trump worked very hard to keep oil prices low and make America energy independent; Biden told the world we were going to destroy our domestic oil industry, which jacked up the global price, and allowed Iran to fund the terrorists and Russia to fund its war.

I don’t understand why Iran is still sponsoring all these attacks since the Biden administration has told Iran in strongly-worded terms, many times, to stop sponsoring terrorism.

But, according to the media, other Democrats, Nikki Haley, and many establishment Republicans, it is Trump who causes chaos.

The question is, when will the media and establishment politicians acknowledge that it is the Biden administration that is causing cascading disasters? I hope the voters recognize the problem! (It is easy to recognize.)

Trump went to NATO and told them to increase their funding for defense to 4%, as they were obligated to do, and he was repeatedly derided. He never was going to leave NATO. He wanted to make them stronger so they could defend themselves against adversaries, instead of having American taxpayers foot the bill.

When Trump lectured NATO members on how dangerous it was for them to depend on Russia for their energy, idiotic leaders laughed at him:

Europeans Laughed at Trump Over Russian Gas. No Longer.

They are learning what happens when you give the very nation NATO was set up to oppose the power to cut off your energy.

Trump took out Iran’s General Qasem Soleimani, and Biden and other Democrats castigated him for such a “dangerous” action; but Iran and its terrorist benefactors stopped attacking American bases at will after that happened, because they knew Trump meant what he said. Peace through strength.

Isn’t the world so fortunate that the media campaigned so hard to put the adults back in the room? Thank goodness we now have an incompetent president who took his son around the globe collecting kickbacks, instead of Trump who gave the world relative peace and prosperity!

The media should be so proud of themselves—that they contributed so greatly to the cascading world disasters, by lying continuously about Russian collusion, and by burying the truthful stories about the Biden family corruption, as they have relentlessly interfered in elections. Misinformation is their method of operation when they target people they want to destroy.

Denmark’s parliament has passed a bill that makes it illegal to burn copies of the Quran in public places... The bill, which prohibits “inappropriate treatment of writings with significant religious importance for a recognized religious community,” was passed with 94 votes in favor and 77 opposed... In practical terms, it will be forbidden to burn, tear or otherwise defile holy texts publicly or in videos intended to be disseminated widely. Those who break the law risk a fine or up to two years in prison… The purpose of the law is to counter “the systematic mockery” that, among other things, has contributed to intensifying the threat of [Islamic] terrorism in Denmark, the Ministry of Justice said.

We’ll note here that this quote is from Hassan al-Banna, the 1928 founder of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. And here is the motto of the Muslim Brotherhood:

‘Allah is our objective; the Prophet is our leader; the Quran is our law; Jihad is our way; dying in the way of Allah is our highest aspiration.’

FIFTEEN THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT LA RAZA “THE RACE” aka UNIDOSus

    by Michelle Malkin

Only in America could critics of a group called "The Race" be labeled racists. Such is the triumph of left-wing identity chauvinists, whose aggressive activists and supine abettors have succeeded in redefining all opposition as "hate."

Both Barack Obama and John McCain will speak this week in San Diego at the annual conference of the National Council of La Raza, the Latino organization whose name is Spanish for, yes, "The Race." Can you imagine Obama and McCain paying homage to a group of white people who called themselves that? No matter. The presidential candidates and the media have legitimized "The Race" as a mainstream ethnic lobbying group and marginalized its critics as intolerant bigots. The unvarnished truth is that the group is a radical ethnic nationalist outfit that abuses your tax dollars and milks PC politics to undermine our sovereignty.

Here are 15 things you should know about "The Race":

    15. "The Race" supports driver's licenses for illegal aliens.

14."The Race" demands in-state tuition discounts for illegal alien students that are not available to law-abiding U.S. citizens and law-abiding legal immigrants.

    13. "The Race" vehemently opposes cooperative immigration enforcement efforts between local, state and federal authorities.

    12. "The Race" opposes a secure fence on the southern border.

    11. "The Race" joined the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee in a failed lawsuit attempt to prevent the feds from entering immigration information into a key national crime database -- and to prevent local police officers from accessing the data.

    10. "The Race" opposed the state of Oklahoma's tough immigration-enforcement-first laws, which cut off welfare to illegal aliens, put teeth in employer sanctions and strengthened local-federal cooperation and information sharing.

    9. "The Race" joined other open-borders, anti-assimilationists and sued to prevent Proposition 227, California's bilingual education reform ballot initiative, from becoming law.

    8. "The Race" bitterly protested common-sense voter ID provisions as an "absolute disgrace."

    7. "The Race" has consistently opposed post-9/11 national security measures at every turn.

    6. Former "Race" president Raul Yzaguirre, Hillary Clinton's Hispanic outreach adviser, said this: "U.S. English is to Hispanics as the Ku Klux Klan is to blacks." He was referring to U.S. English, the nation's oldest, largest citizens' action group dedicated to preserving the unifying role of the English language in the United States. "The Race" also pioneered Orwellian open-borders Newspeak and advised the Mexican government on how to lobby for illegal alien amnesty while avoiding the terms "illegal" and "amnesty."

    5. "The Race" gives mainstream cover to a poisonous subset of ideological satellites, led by Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, or Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan (MEChA). The late GOP Rep. Charlie Norwood rightly characterized the organization as "a radical racist group … one of the most anti-American groups in the country, which has permeated U.S. campuses since the 1960s, and continues its push to carve a racist nation out of the American West."

    4. "The Race" is currently leading a smear campaign against staunch immigration enforcement leaders and has called for TV and cable news networks to keep immigration enforcement proponents off the airwaves -- in addition to pushing for Fairness Doctrine policies to shut up their foes. The New York Times reported that current "Race" president Janet Murguia believes "hate speech" should "not be tolerated, even if such censorship were a violation of First Amendment rights."

    3. "The Race" sponsors militant ethnic nationalist charter schools subsidized by your public tax dollars (at least $8 million in federal education grants). The schools include Aztlan Academy in Tucson, Ariz., the Mexicayotl Academy in Nogales, Ariz., Academia Cesar Chavez Charter School in St. Paul, Minn., and La Academia Semillas del Pueblo in Los Angeles, whose principal inveighed: "We don't want to drink from a White water fountain, we have our own wells and our natural reservoirs and our way of collecting rain in our aqueducts. We don't need a White water fountain … ultimately the White way, the American way, the neo liberal, capitalist way of life will eventually lead to our own destruction."

    2. "The Race" has perfected the art of the PC shakedown at taxpayer expense, pushing relentlessly to lower home loan standards for Hispanic borrowers, reaping millions in federal "mortgage counseling" grants, seeking special multimillion-dollar earmarks and partnering with banks that do business with illegal aliens.

    1. "The Race" thrives on ethnic supremacy -- and the elite sheeple's unwillingness to call it what it is. As historian Victor Davis Hanson observes: "[The] organization's very nomenclature 'The National Council of La Raza' is hate speech to the core. Despite all the contortions of the group, Raza (as its Latin cognate suggests) reflects the meaning of 'race' in Spanish, not 'the people' -- and that's precisely why we don't hear of something like 'The National Council of the People,' which would not confer the buzz notion of ethnic, racial and tribal chauvinism."

The fringe is the center. The center is the fringe. Viva La Raza/UNIDOus.

Joe Biden Promises 2024 Campaign for More Migration and Amnesty

An angry President Joe Biden said he would make immigration a central issue in his 2024 campaign if Senate Republicans do not back his more-migration bill on Wednesday.

“If the bill fails, I want to be absolutely clear about something,” Biden told reporters at the White House on Tuesday.

The American people are going to know why it fails. I’ll be taking this issue to the country … Every day between now and November, the American people are going to know that the only reason the border is not secure is Donald Trump and his MAGA Republican friends.

“It is great news if the President wants to make immigration a key issue for the 2024 election,” responded Chris Chmielenski, president of the Immigration Accountability Project. “People know that the chaos started when Biden took over the White House,” he said.

In his Tuesday speech, Biden touted support for his migration-expanding bill from the investor-dominated U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Wall Street Journal, saying:

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce supports this bill because they know this bill is not just good for the border, it’s also good for American business and for the American economy. And it’s why the [editorial board of the] Wall Street Journal endorsed the bill. The headline this morning reads “A Border Security Bill Worth Passing.”

But Americans do not want business groups to run the nation’s immigration system, Chmielenski noted:

Americans don’t want to see more migrants coming into the country to help boost the economy if it means American workers are going to lose … They understand that our current immigration system is a detriment to our economy because we’re bringing in millions of workers that we don’t need for lower-skilled jobs … [and many] white-collar workers to take jobs that Americans are willing to take for higher wages.

“That’s what the Chamber of Commerce and Wall Street are pushing for … [but] Americans [prefer migrants] that won’t directly compete with them but will complement them,” he said.

Biden also insisted he would push for amnesties in the 2024 campaign, saying “We’re not walking away from true immigration reform including permanent protections and a pathway to citizenship for young DREAMers who came here when they were children.”

McConnell: Open Borders Bill Has “No Real Chance” to Pass

Biden’s 2024 challenge to Trump came after the caucus of 49 GOP Senators decided not to support the bill in a Wednesday vote, despite advocacy by GOP Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell, Sen. James Lankford (R-OK), and other Senators.

The GOP decision came despite much establishment pressure — but amid a populist pushback that GOP Senators are closely tracking.

“A vote for this border surrender bill is a vote for Biden’s open-border policies,” said William Gheen, the president of ALIPAC, a grassroots group that opposes politicians who back pro-migration policies.

Many polls show that the public wants reduced migration, especially reduced labor migration.

In 2014, the GOP gained five Senate seats after Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) helped pass the very unpopular “Gang of Eight amnesty through the Senate. The bill was blocked in the House by GOP activists.

Yet the Democrats’ 2024 bill only promises more — albeit better-organized — migration into Americans’ communities and workplaces.

Many polls also show that Biden’s easy-migration policy is a political deadweight in 2024, raising the GOP’s hope of winning a majority in the U.S. Senate.

ABC News reported on February 5:

According to a Nov. 3-4 poll from ABC News/Ipsos, American adults said they trusted Republicans to do a better job handling immigration than Democrats, 36 percent to 24 percent. That 12-point gap was tied for Republicans’ second-biggest advantage on any issue (out of 11 tested).

And acrosssevennonpartisanpollsconductedinJanuary,* President Joe Biden’s average approval rating on immigration and/or the southern border was just 29 percent, and his average disapproval rating was 63 percent. That’s significantly worse than his already-poor 39-percent-to-57-percent average approval and disapproval ratings in those same polls.

ABC added, “16 percent of independents also identified immigration as their most important problem, which was up from 6 percent in July.”

Republican candidates should recognize that 70 percent of swing-voting independents “strongly” or “somewhat” favor the deportation of illegal migrants, according to a poll by Cygnal that was released mid-January. The report advised:

Republican candidates at all levels would be wise to tap into this sentiment and contrast themselves with a sheepish bench of Democrats who have largely let the issue fester to a boiling point no locality can afford to further ignore because it’s impacting voters day-to-day lives.

Biden’s migration failure also worsens voters’ worries about the economy. The polling firm of TIPP Insights issued a report on February 4 noting:

Nearly four in ten (38%) Americans picked the economy as the country’s most important issue, followed by immigration/border security at 36 percent and crime at 19 percent as the other top concerns. Interestingly, the importance of immigration increased sharply from 29% in December to 36% in January and remained at that level in February.

A recent TIPP Poll and Bankrate survey revealed that the majority of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. Their wages have not grown, while stubborn Bidenflation, at 17 percent, has taken a toll on their finances. Only one-third (34%) say they’re better off than four years ago.

The report is titled “America’s Immigration Anxiety Amidst A Gloomy Outlook On The Direction Of Country.”

Biden’s eagerness to challenge Trump on immigration politics likely reflects his growing dislike of Trump. On February 1, Politico reported:

The president [Biden]  has described Trump to longtime friends and close aides as a “sick fuck” who delights in others’ misfortunes, according to three people who have heard the president use the profane description. According to one of the people who has spoken with the president, Biden recently said of Trump: “What a fucking asshole the guy is.”

    Extraction Migration

Since at least 1990, the federal government has relied on Extraction Migration to grow the economy after allowing investors to move the high-wage manufacturing sector to lower-wage countries.

The migration policy extracts vast amounts of human resources from needy countries. The additional workers, consumers, and renters push up stock values by shrinking Americans’ wages, subsidizing low-productivity companies, boosting rents, and spiking real estate prices.

The economic policy has pushed many native-born Americans out of careers in a wide variety of business sectors, reduced native-born Americans’ productivity and political clout, reduced high-tech innovation, crippled civic solidarity, and allowed government officials and progressives to ignore the rising death rate of discarded Americans.

The policy also sucks jobs and wealth from heartland states by subsidizing coastal investors and government agencies with a flood of low-wage workers, high-occupancy renters, and government-aided consumers.

The colonialism-like policy has also killed many thousands of migrants, including many on the taxpayer-funded jungle trail through the Darien Gap in Panama.

Mail-in voter fraud and the 2020 election

A country cannot survive, let alone thrive, when the voting process itself has been tainted, thereby driving a significant portion of the citizenry to no longer trust in the electoral system. In the United States, we have generally been immune from this nightmare scenario, at least for the most part. Yes, we have had our share of highly contested elections, most recently in 2000. But these situations have been much more the exception than the norm in the United States over the past two centuries.

Unfortunately, it has become clear that the 2020 presidential election did not reach this historically high bar due to the sheer level of fraud mail-in voters admitted to committing in the 2020 election.

Our story begins in the months leading up to the 2020 election, when several states, including all the critical swing states, changed their voting rules under the pretext that traditional in-person voting was dangerous due to the pandemic. Rather than having most people vote in-person, which is the most safe and secure method to cast a ballot, dozens of state officials usurped the power of state legislatures and implemented unprecedented (and unconstitutional) measures to encourage mass voting by mail.

These dubious changes to state voting procedures resulted in a record-breaking number of ballots cast by mail in the 2020 election. At the same time, the percentage of mail-in ballots that were rejected by state officials was far below the historical average.

It just so happens that Joe Biden received a far greater share of the record-high mail-in votes in the 2020 election. In fact, at the national level, Biden received nearly twice as many mail-in votes compared to Trump.

Fast-forward to late 2023, when the Heartland Institute and Rasmussen Reports conducted a survey that found at least one-in-five mail-in voters admitted to committing at least one type of election fraud. To put it mildly, the poll caused a stir in the media.

The shocking poll results also begged the question: Did widespread mail-in voter fraud impact the outcome of the 2020 election?

In short, the answer is: Yes, it probably did.

Make no mistake, that conclusion was not reached in haste. On the contrary, my colleagues and I came to that conclusion after rigorous analysis of the raw polling data supplied by Rasmussen coupled with state-based mail-in voting figures.

All of this information is available in a newly released Heartland Policy Study titled: "Who Really Won the 2020 Election? Measuring the Effect of Mail-in Ballot Fraud in the Trump-Biden Race for the White House."

According to the report, “the best available evidence suggests that mail-in ballot fraud significantly impacted the 2020 presidential election, in favor of Joe Biden. In other words, had the 2020 election been conducted like every national election has been over the past two centuries, wherein the vast majority of voters cast ballots in-person rather than by mail, Donald Trump would have almost certainly been re-elected.”

Truth be told, the main reason we decided to investigate the 2020 election in such detail is not because we are interested in relitigating the 2020 election. Our primary objective is to prevent anything like what occurred in the 2020 election from ever happening again.

To avert a repeat of the 2020 election, and to minimize the chances of fraud impacting future elections, we’ve included several commonsense policy recommendations that we believe will increase election integrity. For instance, we advise states to clean up their outdated and inaccurate voter registration rolls while encouraging in-person voting as much as possible.

Leader of the Select Committee on the CCP warned that ‘we have to be super vigilant’ against potential communist Chinese influence operations. ACTUALLY, WE NEED TO BE SUPER VIGILANT AGAINST RED CHINA AND BIDEN!

    THE BIDEN KLEPTOCRACY

American people deserve to know what China was up to with Joe Biden, especially when Beijing had already shelled out millions of dollars to Biden family members — including millions in set-asides for “the big guy.” What else is on that infamous Hunter Biden laptop? The conflicted Biden Justice Department cannot be trusted to engage in any meaningful oversight on this issue. We need a special counsel now.

Breitbart Political Editor Emma-Jo Morris’s investigative work at the New York Post on the Hunter Biden “laptop from hell” also captured international headlines when she, along with Miranda Devine, revealed that Joe Biden was intimately involved in Hunter’s businesses, appearing to even have a 10 percent stake in a company the scion formed with officials at the highest levels of the Chinese Communist Party.

Hunter has reportedly sold five paintings worth $75,000 each to an anonymous buyer. Hunter’s art dealer, Georges Bergès, has previously boasted he had strong ties to businessmen in Communist China, which has concerned many due to the Biden family’s business ventures abroad.

“We are 95% sure that that artwork went to China,” Comer said. “We don’t know where exactly that went to in China, but we’re going to try to find out when we get subpoena power.”

‘60 Minutes’ 13-Minute Segment on Surge of Chinese Illegals Spends Zero Seconds on the Threat

On Sunday, “60 Minutes” reported that Chinese nationals are the “fastest-growing group” of illegal immigrants into the U.S. But, without devoting a single second to the threat posed by the illegal arrivals from a hostile communist regime, it blamed “tensions” with the U.S. for making it more difficult to enter legally.

The segment features Correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi reporting from a popular gap in the California border, through which illegal aliens are able to easily enter the country without confrontation.

Not once in her 13-minute segment does Alfonsi mention the possibility that any of the illegal immigrants from Communist China may be seeking to do us harm. Instead, she fawns over the Chinese nationals illegally breaking into the U.S., portraying them as “middle-class” bankers, business owners and job-seekers pursuing “freedom.”

“Oh, my goodness,” Alfonsi exclaimed, when one of the Chinese illegals said she was a teacher.

“Many of the migrants told us they made the journey to escape China's increasingly repressive political climate and sluggish economy,” Alfonsi said.

One reason the Chinese are entering the U.S. illegally is that the U.S. is granting fewer visas, due to “tensions between the two countries,” Alfonsi says – failing to mention that the U.S. has tightened its visa policy in an effort to protect itself from the growing threat of Chinese spyinghackingfentanyl facilitation, etc.:

“For years, millions of Chinese entered the U.S. with a visa that allowed them to visit, work, or study.

“But, in the last few years, those visas have been increasingly difficult to secure, as tensions between the two countries have grown.

“In 2016, the U.S. granted 2.2 million temporary visas to Chinese nationals. In 2022, it was just 160,000.”

“It only takes one terrorist“ and Pres. Xi Jinping of China would “happily and enthusiastically“ exploit Pres. Biden’s catch-and-release policies, “to bring pain and terror to the American people,“ Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) warned in a recent Senate speech, noting that U.S. Border Patrol apprehended more Chinese migrants in Fiscal Year 2023 than it did in the previous ten years - combined.

It’s easier to simply enter the U.S. illegally, especially since Chinese nationals are three times more likely to be granted asylum, than are illegal immigrants from other countries, Alfonsi said:

“According to the Department of Justice, last year, 55% of Chinese migrants were granted asylum, compared to 14% for every other nationality. With the odds in their favor and a phone to guide them, there's little to discourage more Chinese migrants from coming through the gap near Jerry Schuster's place.”

And, even if they’re apprehended trying to break into the U.S, the Chinese nationals will be back on the streets within 72 hours, Alfonsi noted:

“Typically, within 72 hours, they are released into the United States and can begin the process of filing an asylum claim.”

“What do some migrants do after being released by border patrol? They call an Uber and they're gone,” the segment ended, teasing another immigration story.

But it is different, with millions of dollars changing hands and U.S. influence waning significantly. If this isn't dealt with in Congress, the stage will be set for any elected leader to do the same.  Now that the facts are known, Andy McCarthy argues, that Joe cannot escape his China scandal paper trail at the very least. One hopes that he is right because the bribery and treason here couldn't be more real.

US ‘Would Be Naive’ to Assume CCP Won’t Attempt Election Interference: House China Committee Leader

Leader of the Select Committee on the CCP warned that ‘we have to be super vigilant’ against potential communist Chinese influence operations.

Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-Ill.) speaks during a press conference unveiling the results of the Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) investigation into the biolab discovered in Reedley, Calif., in Washington on Nov. 15, 2023. (Madalina Vasiliu/The Epoch Times)

    By Eva Fu

    2/5/2024

The United States “would be naive” to assume that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) won’t try to interfere with the 2024 elections, according to a House panel leader on strategic competition with the regime.

Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-Ill.), the ranking Democrat on the Select Committee on the CCP, noted at a Feb. 5 Semafor panel that the Chinese regime has developed a “very, very sophisticated approach to discourse power.”

Deepfakes—the manipulation of facial appearance through artificial intelligence to create and refine fake content—is but one technology Beijing is trying to employ for political interference in Taiwan and elsewhere, he said.

“I think we would be naive that either the CCP or CCP aligned actors would not attempt to use some of this technology here in the U.S.,” he told the attendees. Beijing, he suggested, could spread its influence through social media ads, such as on China-owned TikTok, which, based on recent Pew Research Center data, has become the primary news source for one third of Americans under 30.

“You can easily see how certain content that might be critical of one individual in our country or might be supportive of another individual in our country could be manipulated,” he said. “We see that certainly with regard to content critical or supportive of the CCP, it’s possible ... it’s within what they can do.”

Concerns over the CCP’s election interference came into focus with the recent Taiwan presidential election. The weeks leading up to polling day saw the regime ramping up a war of words, threatening the use of military force to annex the self-ruling island while sending suspicious balloons and a satellite that Taiwan officials said was on an “abnormal trajectory.”

Whether it’s propping up one candidate over another, or sowing discord, “we have to be super vigilant,” he said.

“The Taiwanese were a model for monitoring what social media interference looks like from the CCP. They were very good at exposing disinformation, the Ukrainians are very good at this today with regard to the Russians, I think we can learn lessons from them with regard to potential political interference or worse—cyber attacks.”

Such cyber attacks can pose real world threats.

At a cybersecurity hearing the China Committee hosted last week, FBI director Christopher Wray told lawmakers they have dismantled a major Chinese state-sponsored hacking group targeting U.S. critical infrastructure with the intent to disrupt, degrade, and destroy U.S. infrastructure in the event of a military conflict.

Analysts and assessments from the intelligence community have further added weight to Mr. Krishnamoorthi’s concerns.

A declassified report the National Intelligence Council released in December said that Chinese cyber actors had attempted to meddle in the 2022 U.S. midterm elections by trying to undermine certain political candidates and promote others.

One Chinese influence campaign involved covertly denigrating a U.S. senator using inauthentic accounts. While the report didn’t find Beijing targeting specific election infrastructure, it noted that Chinese cyber actors had scanned more than 100 U.S. state and national political party domains. It also observed an increased focus in China’s English-language messaging efforts on TikTok on divisive issues such as abortion, mass shootings, and immigration.

The regime has shown “greater willingness to conduct election influence activities than in past cycles,” the report stated.

Since 2020, senior top Chinese officials have issued “broad directives” to intensify efforts to turn U.S. policy and public opinion in the CCP’s favor, giving the operatives more freedom for such activities ahead of the 2022 midterms, in part because “they did not expect the current administration to retaliate as severely as they feared in 2020.”

We need to return to a time when the American people overwhelmingly trusted the veracity of elections. We need to keep things simple and transparent when it comes to the voting process. We need to know with a high degree of certainty that our elections are free and fair. We need to know that our vote still actually matters.
