HOW MANY LEGALS ARE NOW LIVING ON SIDEWALKS? IN MEXICO'S SECOND LARGEST CITY OF LOS ANGELES, WHERE HALF THE POPULATION ARE ILLEGALS, ABOUT 100 THOUSAND HOMELESS LIVE IN TENTS.
In many speeches, Mayorkas says he is building a mass migration system to deliver workers to wealthy employers and investors and “equity” to poor foreigners. The nation’s border laws are subordinate to elites’ opinion about “the values of our country,” Mayorkas claims.
Just how much free stuff are illegals getting? Howie Carr investigates...
Most of us are aware that a system of perverse incentives is incentivizing foreigners to come to the U.S. without legal authorization.
But is anyone aware of how much they're getting? Officials are sneaky about it, flying them in on the sly, sending in unbadged 'monitors' telling the public to not take pictures, and often ignoring requests for public records, thumbing their nose at the law.
So Howie Carr, the writer and radio host, went the investigative reporter route since nobody in the mainstream media was doing it, and assembled the data he could locate.
Most of us have heard of at least some of these things, and yes, they are a lot more than most Americans are ever going to get. Three free meals? With no means testing, just being illegally present is enough?
It's astonishing. Name one country Americans can go to get three free squares a day, plus housing, room service, free clothing, computers and the like? Nothing like a little replacement theory and padding the congressional seats now, is there.?
But it gets worse, much worse.
Illegals get free tax preparation at $350 per family, which is odd stuff with few working, but the name of the game is something different: to get big returns through the "child tax credit" without paying a penny into the system.
They get free attorneys, free Medicaid, free WIC cash for single moms on the go, welfare checks, free Uber services, holiday parties, movie nights at the hotel, free notary services, free English-as-a-second-language courses, 24/7 security, and the list goes on.
On moving day when they finally leave the free hotel, if it ever happens, they get $30,000 in rent assistance for two years, free luggage, free U-Haul boxes, free new beds with free delivery, up to ten items of free furniture, a free "move-in package (plates, towels, cutlery, etc.) Up to $900. Delivered free," as Carr recounts, and then moving on, they get a free case manager to find them a place to stay, free parenting classes, free "early childhood education" and free "life coaches" among a host of other things on Howie's lists.
Sound like a good deal? It is for them. No wonder so many are coming. This ain't no Ellis Island anymore where migrants once checked in, passed inspection and got to work immediately in order to sustain themselves. It's all taxpayer-paid now, meaning, the U.S. is effectively importing a foreign underclass as if the current one weren't sufficient for U.S. needs.
It's lavish, it's bound to have the recipients writing to their relatives back home (or more likely, calling on the free cell phone) to 'come on down' because the gravy train is flowing and the streets are paved with gold.
As for the rest of Americans, well, they can shut up and pay taxes, because that's all the Biden administration and its blue-city allies have to offer them.
It's an illegals' world now, and we just live in it.
New York Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul has proposed $2.4 billion in spending for migrants in her latest budget proposal, along with plans to spur residential development in a state with some of the highest rent and home prices in the country.
Hochul released her budget proposal on Tuesday to address the pressures facing the Empire State, one of which is Joe Biden’s continuing migrant crisis.
The Democrat suggested an additional $2.4 billion for migrant care in addition to the $1.9 billion the state spent in 2023, according to Politico.
A large portion of the new spending is targeted for New York City. Hochul and Mayor Eric Adams apparently agreed to spend $1.1 billion for the illegal border crossers that have flocked to the Big Apple.
Hochul also announced plans to spur more residential construction, saying in her budget speech, “We still need an effective statewide approach to encourage new construction.”
“We saw in every other state that met the challenge of building more housing — it took decades. But I approach this crisis with a sense of urgency,” Hochul said, according to another Politico report.
Meanwhile, New York City leads the nation with the highest rent prices in the country, according to a Zumper report.
Indeed, the city has higher rent by nearly $1,000 a month compared to the second highest city.
According to the report, the rent in New York City is $4,040 a month. The next closest is $3,220 for rent in Jersey City, New Jersey.
From there the rest of the top five includes Boston, which rings in at $3,000; San Francisco at $2,950,;and Miami, Florida at $2,690.
Yet, even as rent prices have made New York the highest in the nation, Hochul is proposing an increase on taxation on things like vacation rentals and hotel stays.
On Tuesday, commentator Howie Carr posted a long list of freebies that the state is handing to illegals. His list is extensive and includes costs for housing, food, clothing, rent, and many more expenditures.
Carr’s list includes $150 per day for each illegal staying in a free hotel room, $64 per day in meal costs per person, free medical care, dry cleaning, housekeeping, free Ipads, cell phones, chargers, clothing, diapers, baby supplies, car seats, education, legal services, and many, many other line items.
Hochul is suffering from a transparency problem, though. The questions over where all the money is going is a serious one. Recently, the Boston Herald asked the state to supply a full accounting of where all the money is going.
President Joe Biden, with the help of Congress, is spending hundreds of millions in American taxpayer dollars on border security initiatives in foreign countries. At the same time, border crossings at the United States-Mexico border have surpassed 7.4 million since Biden took office.
Slipped into a $1.2 trillion budget signed by Biden last weekend is about $380 million for “enhanced border security” projects in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, and Tunisia — about $150 million of which must go to border security in Jordan.
Meanwhile, the budget puts strict limitations on the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) ability to construct physical barriers along the U.S.-Mexico border to deter illegal immigration.
“The Biden administration wants nothing more than the ability to ‘manage’ an invasion here at home, all while helping nations abroad build walls,” RJ Hauman with the National Immigration Center for Enforcement (NICE) told Breitbart News. “Make it make sense.”
The budget comes as Biden sets more records at the border.
From February 2021 through February 2024, Biden has overseen nine million encounters at the nation’s borders — more than 7.4 million of which occurred at the southern border. Those figures do not include the countless got-aways who successfully crossed U.S. borders.
“… over 1.8 million known got-aways have evaded U.S. Border Patrol under this administration,” House Homeland Security Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) writes:
In testimony before the Committee last year, then-chief of U.S. Border Patrol, Raul Ortiz, said the total number of got-aways could be undercounted by as much as 20 percent. [Emphasis added]
In addition to record border crossings, Biden’s DHS is carrying out an unprecedented parole pipeline that brings foreign nationals to U.S. borders for release into the nation’s interior.
Since January 2023, nearly 900,000 foreign nationals have been released into the U.S. interior thanks to the parole pipeline, which includes the migrant mobile app known as “CBP One” and so-called “humanitarian parole.”
The total number of migrants who have arrived through the parole pipeline now outpaces the populations of Wyoming, Vermont, Alaska, and North Dakota.

N AMERICA, IT'S ILLEGALS FIRST SO BE PREPARED NOT TO EAT.
Health inspections for foreign nationals entering our country illegally have gone out the window. That's enabled the importation of many diseases which affect livestock and other agricultural output, and already these things are happening. Legal immigrants and even returning U.S. citizens must pass these inspections to protect the U.S. food supply. But under Joe Biden's catch-and-release, illegals are exempt from such cumbersome requirements. They get in on the honor system, once they tell the Border Patrol that they aren't sick. MONICA SHOWALTER
In blue cities where illegals congregate, much of the long-term focus is on where the housing for 10 or 20 million "newcomers" is going to come from.
The problem, though, is much worse than housing. Out in the country, there are worries about where the food supply is going to come from with all this unvetted illegal immigration in the millions.
No, it's not just illegals eating all the food.
It's that unvetted illegals admitted into the country without inspection are bringing in untold diseases, which are already threatening livestock in border states like Texas.
Mass migration exposes the United States’ food supply to diseases and parasites that could ultimately affect national security, animal health experts told The Epoch Times.
With unfettered illegal immigration—some 9 million encounters since 2021—the normal guardrails for inspection are ignored, raising the likelihood of unwanted diseases being brought across the border.
Dr. Michael Vickers has been a veterinarian for about 50 years and served on the Texas Animal Health Commission (TAHC),
The threat to the food supply is already apparent from the past cases of tuberculosis (TB) transmitted from illegal immigrants to dairy cows in Texas, he said.
Concerns are growing that it’s only a matter of time before U.S. agriculture experiences a fresh disaster on a grand scale, Dr. Vickers said.
“These people are just destroying our country. And our food supply is going to be a real critical issue,” he told The Epoch Times.
What's wrong with this picture?
The Epoch Times reports that already these diseases are being imported. Some cattle herds in recent years have acquired tuberculosis from illegals working on Texas farms and ranches in 2015 and 2019. That was before Joe Biden's migrant surge. The odds now are that much more in the way of disease will be imported, particularly since many illegals are now crossing through the dreaded Darien Gap jungle of Panama, which is a rife with tropical and other diseases.
One threat officials and experts watching for is a Central American screwworm infestation, which is going on the region now and is known to devastate livestock. The worms or their eggs can be brought in with illegals who may not even be aware of their presence and eventually reach the cattle.
Another potential imported problem from catch-and-release is the fever-tick, which also devastates cattle herds. Already the border counties of Texas are under cattle quarantine for this potential problem. It appears that authorities know where the threat is coming from.
Herds are being devastated in places and the number of cattle farms and ranches has fallen precipitously, meaning, the price of meat is rising.
Bottom line here is that common sense regulations intended to protect cattle, other livestock, and plants, is standing straight-out unprotected from a huge host of traveling disease hosts, meaning, food production in some if not all areas has potential to fall. That's a threat to the food supply. Yet nothing is being done by Joe Biden who is utterly indifferent to the potential threat posed by catch-and-release.
They don't care, of course, as one expert in the report noted. They don't want us to eat meat anyway. They want us to eat bugs. But it's unlikely to stop with vulnerable cattle.
One way or another, Joe Biden and his wokester army allowing millions of illegals in, are determined to make bug-eating happen. It just won't be the 'sustainability' they think it will be because we're looking at a man-made famine, not a boutique cuisine fad.

President Joe Biden’s easy-migration policies are the top issue facing the United States, according to the latest Harvard Harris poll.
Immigration — not inflation or the economy — was cited as the top issue among 36 percent of 2,111 registered voters in the March 20-21 poll from Harvard’s Center for American Political Studies.
Thirty-six percent tagged immigration as the top issue, while 33 percent tagged inflation. Twenty-three percent picked the “economy and jobs” category.
Demographically, 39 percent of whites, 41 percent of Hispanics, 28 percent of Asians, and 28 percent of people aged 25 to 34 chose immigration.
Harvard Caps Harris Poll
Twenty-one percent of respondents said immigration is the top issue facing them personally, up four points from the prior monthly poll.
The poll matches the results from Cygnal polling, which surveyed 1,500 likely voters in 39 battleground districts from March 5-7, 2024:
Border security is now firmly the top issue (30%), up 11 percent since January and surpassing inflation which fell to 23 percent overall. Hispanic voters are driving this change with a 13 percent increase among these voters toward border security and away from other issues. Independents continue to care more about inflation, while Republicans are focused on border security, and Democrats are still expressing concerns over threats to democracy.
However, the issues of inflation and immigration are closely tied. For example, Biden’s immigration policy has imported at least seven million extra migrants, inflating costs for housing, autos, food, and other necessary items.
Fifty-eight percent of the 2,111 registered voters in the Harvard Harris poll also said Biden’s border is “getting worse,” and 73 percent want Biden’s deputies to toughen enforcement.
Harvard Caps Harris Poll
Many polls show migration is playing a central role in the 2024 election the establishment media’s efforts to downplay the pocketbook impact on Americans and the structural damage to the U.S. economy.
The Harvard Harris poll showed that 46 percent of respondents said immigration is Biden’s “biggest failure.” That score was almost double the 27 percent who picked “Weak leadership at home and abroad.”
Even the New York Times writers admit that Biden’s policies are bad for Democrats. “If Biden loses in November, this will be a major reason,” op-ed writer Bret Stephens admitted in a March 25 column:
Most Americans also understand that Biden and Kamala Harris pretty much ignored the crisis for years until Abbott and other Southern governors started sending migrants to places like Chicago and New York, and Democratic officials began to see the problem at their doorstep.
However, Republicans may yet drop the ball by treating migration only as an easy turnout issue for the base, not as an opportunity to persuade and attract conflicted swing voters.
In general, GOP donors do not want the GOP to use the immigration issue as a way to win new voters or election landslides. That strategy would require campaign promises to curb the inflow of foreign workers, consumers, and renters that donors demand.
Worse, the inflow of migrants reduces the incentive and ability of politicians, government officials, and business leaders to overcome their expanding political differences in ways that help reduce Americans’ problems.
