Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that former President Donald Trump “ordered” a “terrorist attack” on January 6, 2021.

Host Jake Tapper said, “What do you say to an independent voter or an average voter who looks at what’s going on with Donald Trump? You have his assets might be seized tomorrow. You also have the hush money case from District Attorney Alvin Bragg of New York. You also have the Georgia case about election interference. You also have the special counsel investigation on election interference. You also have the classified documents case down in Florida. That’s five cases. What do you say to a voter who says, well, that doesn’t look like he’s being treated equally before the law that looks like somebody that the government is going after?”

Ocasio-Cortez said, “Has there ever been a president, Republican or Democrat that has been subject to this level of criminal charges, indictments, and investigations? This is not about party. This is not about politics. This is about corruption and criminality. We’re talking about an individual who ordered essentially a terrorist attack on the Capital of the United States in order to retain power. That, that is not about being a Republican. It is not about being a Democrat. It’s about being an unethical individual who is subject and prone to criminality. Unfortunately, this is the state that we’re in, and I actually think that the fact that it’s happening in so many places and so many jurisdictions cuts in the face of that. This is not just New York, this is Georgia, this is federal courts as well.”

Will our republic live to see her 250th anniversary?

As the United States inches closer to 2026, marking the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, the gravity of our current predicament cannot be overstated.  This upcoming milestone, meant to celebrate the enduring spirit and foundational values of liberty, democracy, and unity, is now shadowed by the specter of internal decay and external threats, much like the fall of the Roman Empire. 

The Roman Republic, a beacon of republican governance, fell victim to internal strife, political manipulation, and external pressures, transforming into an empire that eventually collapsed under its own weight. 

This historical parallel serves as a stark warning for the United States, especially under the stewardship of President Joe Biden, whose administration’s policies threaten to replicate Rome’s fatal mistakes.

The Biden administration's approach, particularly its stance on border security and immigration, mirrors the complacency and misjudgments that preceded Rome's downfall.  Just as Rome failed to secure its borders and manage the allegiance and integration of its expanding territories, the current U.S. policies on open borders and the prioritization of expanding the Democrat voter base over national security present a dangerous gamble. 

These policies risk not only the integrity of the nation’s democratic institutions, but also its survival, as they lay the groundwork for potential internal conflicts and external attacks.

The tragic event in Russia, where over a hundred lives were lost to an ISIS attack despite the country's stringent security, exemplifies the ever-present danger of assuming invulnerability.  This serves as a poignant reminder that the United States, with its current trajectory, is dangerously exposed to similar threats. 

The Biden administration’s lax approach to securing the nation’s borders and its seemingly complicit formation of sleeper cells and trained terrorists within the country evoke the historical oversight that contributed to Rome's vulnerability and eventual fall.

As the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence approaches, the United States stands at a crossroads.  The question remains: will we learn from history, from the fall of the Roman Republic, and steer our nation away from a path that leads to decay and destruction?  Or will the United States, under President Biden’s guidance, continue down a trajectory that mirrors Rome's, risking the collapse of the ideals of our Republic that we hold dear?

The outcry for a re-evaluation of priorities, for safeguarding American lives, securing the nation's borders, and preserving the integrity of our democratic institutions, must be heeded.  As we reflect on the lessons of the Roman Empire and face the realities of our current situation, the United States must unite to ensure that the celebration of its 250th anniversary marks not just the commemoration of its past — but a recommitment to its future!

This serious and urgent call to action transcends political rivalry.  It is a clarion call for the old JFK wing of the Democrat party to awaken from its “woke coma” and join freedom-loving Republicans in a moral and sane quest to recognize and correct the ultra-liberal policies and decisions steering the country toward an abyss, as Rome once faced prior to its fall. 

The silence and inaction in addressing these threats must end immediately.  The slumber must end, and outcry must rise, loudly and from every corner of our once great nation, demanding a return to godly principles that safeguard the United States’ future, ensuring its survival and prosperity for generations to come, and averting an imminent downfall reminiscent of the once-great Roman Republic.

Joe Biden has been a terrible president — the worst in American history — but that does not mean that his term hasn’t had its share of winners.

While the vast majority of Americans have suffered under Joe Biden, some segments of American society have benefitted.

Illegal Aliens

The top of Biden’s winner list has to be illegal aliens.  As the saying goes, what you promote, you get more of.  Joe Biden and his surrogates have actively promoted the arrival of more than 7–8 million new illegal aliens since his inauguration, when he overrode Donald Trump–era policies and instituted new executive orders, opening the floodgates.  Illegal aliens are being housed, fed, given stored value cards, free medical treatment, and “the promise” of amnesty.  A peripheral beneficiary of our open border is the Mexican cartels, who are making bank, trafficking drugs, adults, and children.

NGOs and other Leftist Activist Groups

On the heels of illegal aliens are non-governmental organizations and other leftist activist groups, who are grifting the government to the tune of billions of dollars per year.  Woke Catholic charities, woke Protestant charities, woke attorneys, woke hotel chains and housing authorities all benefit from the continuation of the border surge.  Leftist homeless groups benefit from the continuation of, not the elimination of, homelessness.  If they “solved” the homeless crisis, they would be out of work.

Sanctuary Cities/States

Not the “people” in said sanctuary cities and states, but leftist Democrats, who benefit from the increased number of congressional seats afforded them, by the increased counts in the Census, soon to be the right to vote.

Iran, Hamas, Gazans

To date, Joe Biden (Obama) has released billions of dollars to the mullahs in Iran, which has been used by Hamas, Hezb’allah, and other Iranian proxies in their attacks on the State of Israel and America.  Joe Biden and Chuck Schumer have summarily attacked Bibi Netanyahu, not Iran’s mullahs or Hamas leadership, for the conflict in Gaza.  Radical activist groups and ill-informed college students are pushing the Biden Administration further and further into the arms of people and groups that hate Israel, Jews, and the “Great Satan” America.

China/Russia 

At the outset of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Russia and China were on the brink of economic collapse.  Three years in, things are looking up for both of our most dangerous adversaries.  Increased oil and gas prices have buoyed Russia’s economy.  Joe Biden’s sanctions on Russia have pushed the Russians into the arms of China, both of which nations have used their collective strength to entice other BRICS countries to increase trade and, more dangerously, shift their transactions from American dollars to yuan.

Once the world’s superpower, America’s status among nations has taken a hit during Joe’s tenure, with the E.U., the WHO, and the WEF taking an increased role in global (and American) affairs.  Globalists George Soros and Klaus Schwab are major beneficiaries of Joe Biden fecklessness.

BLM/Antifa, inner-city criminals

Crime-compliant D.A.s, funded by George Soros and sanctioned by Joe Biden and the radical left, are running roughshod in many inner cities, producing an increase in crime, violent crime, murders, rapes, carjackings, smash-and-grab heists, squatters, and sundry other criminal activities, without judicial recourse.  Increasingly, crime pays.

 LGBT/Pro-Abortion Activists

The radical wing of the LGBT and pro-abortion communities has seen its deviant ideas forced upon the American public.  It is not enough that some (the vast majority of) Americans don’t support abortion — up to birth — or children being coerced into gender transition surgeries, or sexual deviancy being presented to children through books advanced in our, ahem, education institutions.  These groups are marching forward with their agendas.  You and I don’t have an opposing view.  We’re hateful bigots, who must be silenced, fired, or jailed.

Leftist D.A.s, A.G.s, and Judges

Does there not appear to be a more profitable gig today than to be a leftist proponent of political lawfare?  Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, Arthur Engoron, Fani Willis, George Gascon, Jack Smith, oh my!  These miscreants have turned “the law” on its ear and are nothing more than leftist attack dogs (mis)using the law to thwart the will of the people and destroy the premise of equal justice under the law.

War Hawks

Mike Pence, Nikki Haley, Joe Biden, Antony Blinken, Victoria Nuland, Mitch McConnell, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Lindsey Graham, Volodymyr Zelensky, and of course the whole of the military industrial complex — all love war and are being rewarded for their lust for war.

Who’s not listed in the cast of winners under Joe Biden is the American people.  They are “the losers” in Joe Biden’s America.

George Soros: A New Kind of Tyrant?

The venomous careers of Hitler and Stalin provoked the study of totalitarian regimes as the very epitome of evil, depriving their citizens of freedom and of life itself. A state captured by a demagogue is considered a sure sign of danger ahead -- hence the alleged justification by the Left for their hysteria over “rabble rouser” Donald Trump’s election. Overlooked until more recently are the unelected, bloated bureaucratic fiefdoms and regulatory encroachments of both national and global government and non-governmental institutions, which have created the opportunity for a sinister, large scale violation of political power.

This new abuse was foreshadowed in the career of FBI architect and director, the corrupt J. Edgar Hoover. It has been notched up to a planetary level of hyper-coordination by George Soros as preliminary to the installation of his global Open Society. In this grandiose plan, state governments (specifically the USA) will be reduced to the level of relay stations for a supranational, Sauron-like centralization of power.

What unites the totalitarian and the new tyrant are three personality characteristics, proposed by Professor John D. Mayer in his 1993 article, “The Emotional Madness of the Dangerous Leader.” The first is indifference. The tyrant is consumed by a single-minded, fanatical purpose and has no regard for the suffering wreaked on others during its implementation. The second is intolerance of those whose opinions differ, facilitated through control of the media, secret and insider knowledge, revenge against anyone who thwarts, and a paranoid mania to shut down all opposition. The third character trait (the foundation of the previous two), is psychopathic grandiosity. The power-abuser assumes a messianic pose of unifying society under a utopian plan and persuading others to participate. The very intensity of the tyrant’s narcissism is transferred to vulnerable supporters eliciting a narcotic rush of enthusiasm.

What is easily overlooked is that the sham scheme is not a political health remedy, but a device for maintaining the megalomaniac’s sense of personal omnipotence. In Soros’ own words, “Next to my fantasies about being God, I also have very strong fantasies of being mad. In fact, my grandfather was actually paranoid.” Soros seems disarming in his frankness. But delusions of grandeur preclude self-knowledge, as Soros’ next statements reveal. “I have a lot of madness in my family. So far I have escaped it.”

Soros has spilled bucketloads of words proclaiming he is “amoral,” “self-interested,” and that “normal rules do not apply” to him. “I am unnatural. I am a sort of deux ex machina. I’m very comfortable with my public persona, because it is the one I have created myself.” And this from the man who controls politicians and bureaucrats like a boss giving dictation to his secretary. This is the man who has perfected the subversion of governments, who has robbed failing states, and lavishly endowed every organization and movement destructive of traditional Western society, from abolishing the Electoral College to abolishing life itself if it is in utero, drug-addicted, or senile. His ambition is without borders -- “The Soviet Empire is now the Soros Empire.” “I’m the Pope’s boss now.” And so on, ad nauseum. Yet, like other tyrants, he is untouchable. Those he has made richer and more powerful protect him.

In March 1933 the Germans voted. They could have voted for the moderate Center Christian party. Instead they voted in Hitler. ‘Deplorable’ Americans however confounded Soros by not voting for “What can we do for you, George?” Hillary Clinton. Yet where are the congressional and Senate investigations into Soros? Where is the RICO indictment? Governments have been bought. The media has been bought. The Soros NGO empire operates an invasive, parasitic web currently devouring the body politic of the USA and many other nations besides.

What Trump’s election has revealed is the limitation of the Presidency in withstanding the transfer of power to unelected, publicly unaccountable bureaucrats, and venal politicians, more concerned with their benefices than their constituents. That void has allowed Soros to install himself as de facto puppet-master. We require bureaucracy, and we cannot prevent the existence of associations, but there is an urgent need for reform by abolishing permanency in government and establishing citizens’ tribunals of appeal against abuses of administrative power. 

Recently in an interview on his simpering NPR, Soros confessed he was unprepared for the populist opposition to his insurrectionary agenda. Let us continue our opposition. Let us demand Soros be investigated and brought to justice as conditional for obtaining our vote. Those with connection to him must be banned from public office, and his assets frozen. Then his parasitical minions will shrivel, like leeches desiccated by a pinch of salt. If not, although we may escape the mass slaughter of the twentieth century, it will be at the cost of vassalage beneath a tyrant like George Soros.

George Soros with his Open Society money plus the Chicago Marxist contingency of Susan Rice, Valerie Jarrett, Penny Pritzker, and Barack Obama are five people I'm inclined to group as the Biden puppet masters.  Is there a pecking order among them?  Does it matter?  I suppose it matters to these individual megalomaniacs, but to anyone else?  No.  Just get that totalitarian state up and running.  Maybe it will matter when all nations are under someone's thumb and one of those thumbs wants to be the one-world Big Thumb.  Not to worry — I'm positive the Big Thumb will be chosen by consensus.
