Police have tracked down a group of Chilean illegal immigrants who have been linked to a string of burglaries across the southern U.S. and east coast, as well as a crime ring in Latin America.

Five migrants who allegedly burglarized a Reisterstown, Maryland, home on the evening of February 3 were caught while fleeing the scene in a vehicle, the Baltimore County Police Department said.

Upon further investigation, police found that suspects 20-year-old Gabriel Matamala-Ponce, 21-year-old Thomas Crisosto-Araya, 22-year-old Jorge Gatica-Vergara, 23-year-old Luis Oyanedel-Valenzuela, and 27-year-old Gabriel Miranda-Gonzalez were alleged participants in four other residential burglaries in Baltimore County as well as cases in North Carolina, Alabama, and Oklahoma.

Officials added that the suspects are “believed to be part of a South American Theft Group (SATG).”

All suspects have been charged with first-degree attempted burglary and various other burglary-related crimes and are being held in Baltimore County on an immigration detainer, Fox News reports.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) told the outlet that its Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) division determined that Crisosto-Araya, Gatica-Vergara, Miranda-Gonzalez, and Oyanedel-Valenzuela all entered the country lawfully as non-immigrants but unlawfully overstayed their welcome.

The agency added that the fifth suspect, Matamala-Ponce, entered the U.S. illegally altogether.

According to the Orange County, North Carolina, sheriff’s office, arrest warrants were issued for Crisosto-Araya, Gatica-Vergara, Oyanedel-Valenzuela, and Matamala-Ponce on February 28 for another burglary.

Miranda-Gonzalez had already been caught in Orange County, Florida, for petty theft in 2022, but he only had to pay a fine and was released.

With the immigration detainers from ICE, local and state officials have been requested to notify the federal agency “before releasing a non-citizen from custody,” according to Fox News.

Nolte: 66% Concerned Illegal Immigration Creates More Violent Crime

Polling shows that two-thirds of Americans believe illegal immigration “may contribute to the violent crime problem in America.”

Ya think?

His Fraudulency Joe Biden invites millions and millions of unvetted third-world illegals, most of them young, unaccompanied men… What the hell do you expect?

The good news is that most of this violent crime is happening in Democrat-run cities. This means that the people who live in those cities are getting what they voted for, and because this is America, people should get what they vote for. Be happy for them.

Rasmussen Reports polled 1,149 likely voters between March 13, 14, and 17, and found the following…

Only 31 percent said they were not “very” or “not at all” concerned about illegals contributing to violent crime. That is less than half of the 66 percent who are concerned.

The internals are fascinating. Among white people, 64 percent are concerned about the connection between illegal immigration and crime. However, among black people, a whopping 73 percent are worried. And why wouldn’t they be? Black people disproportionately live in the Democrat-run cities that posture as sanctuary cities.

While there is still a lot of denial among Democrats, 51 percent say they are concerned with the connection between illegal immigration and crime, compared to 84 percent of Republicans.

When asked if illegal immigration makes America better or worse, only 14 percent said better. A clear majority of 56 percent said worse.

As far as the Orwellian language wars launched by the left to cloud the debate, 62 percent of those polled prefer the clear language of either “illegal alien” (35 percent) or “illegal immigrant” (27 percent). Only 20 percent chose the stupid “undocumented migrant,” while 12 percent chose the even stupider “asylum seeker.”

Ask yourself…

Who benefits from all these illegals?

Biden opens our back door to millions and millions of people to do what, exactly? Nothing more than create competition for your jobs and your housing. We’re already dealing with a housing shortage, and housing prices are already skyrocketing. So let’s bring in millions more people who need housing. Brilliant. But who benefits? The rich. The property owners, that’s who. Same with the jobs. Who benefits? Only the corporations benefit from those cheaper wages.

Why is Biden importing people who hurt working-class Americans? If you care about people, most especially if you care about Americans getting ahead, working their way out of the working class and into the middle class, you don’t do this. America should be a country that attracts only the brightest, best, and most ambitious from all over the world.

Pres. Joe Biden may not approve, but nearly two-thirds of U.S. likely voters say illegal aliens should be called “illegal,” a new national Rasmussen survey reveals.

In his March 7, 2024 State of the Union address, Pres. Biden called the illegal alien charged with murdering Georgia nursing student Laken Riley an “illegal.” But, two days later in an interview, Biden said he regretted using the word “illegal” to describe the alien illegally in the country. “I shouldn’t have used ‘illegal,’ it’s ‘undocumented,’” the president said.

Biden’s White House has also begun using an even more innocuous-sounding term, “newcomers,” to describe people who illegally enter the U.S.

A majority of U.S. likely voters disagree, however, according to a national survey, conducted March 13-14 and 17, 2024 by Rasmussen Reports, following Biden’s apology.

Rasmussen asked the following question:

“Which is the best way to describe foreigners who cross the U.S. border in violation of our immigration laws?”

Fully 62% of voters said illegal aliens should be called “illegal.” “Illegal alien” was the most popular term, followed by “illegal immigrant,” then “undocumented migrant” and “asylum seeker.”

Likewise, among both Republican and Independent voters, “illegal alien” was the most popular moniker, followed by “illegal immigrant,” “undocumented migrant,” and “asylum seeker.”

For Democrat voters, however, “undocumented migrant” was the top choice.

  • Illegal Alien: 35%
  • Illegal Immigrant: 27%
  • Undocumented Migrant: 20%
  • Asylum Seeker: 12%
  • Not Sure: 7%

Republicans:

  • Illegal Alien: 48%
  • Illegal Immigrant: 32%
  • Undocumented Migrants: 9%
  • Asylum Seekers: 7%
  • Not Sure: 4%

Other:

  • Illegal Alien: 35%
  • Illegal Immigrant: 25%
  • Undocumented Migrant: 21%
  • Asylum Seeker: 10%
  • Not Sure: 8%

Democrats:

  • Undocumented Migrant: 28%
  • Illegal Alien: 22%

In a separate question, the survey asked voters about the connection between illegal immigration and violent, illegal activity:

“How concerned are you that illegal immigration may contribute to the violent crime problem in America?”

Two-thirds (66%) said they are at least “somewhat” concerned, including nearly half (46%) who reported that they’re “very” concerned:

All Voters:

  • 46% are “very concerned.”
  • 20% are “somewhat concerned.”
  • 21% are not very concerned.
  • 10% are not at all concerned.
  • 2% are not sure.

Eighty-eight (88%) of those who said they prefer the term “illegal” (alien or immigrant) also said they’re “very concerned” that illegal immigration may contribute to the violent crime problem in the U.S.

Conversely, 72% of those who prefer “immigrant,” “migrant,” or “asylum seeker” are “Not at All Concerned” that illegal immigration may contribute to the violent crime problem in America.
