TUCKER CARLSON - THEY'RE SELLING US OUT TO RED CHINA LIKE THEY DO MEXICO!

Fox News’s Tucker Carlson says the “corrupt” EB-5 visa program is selling American citizenship to rich Chinese nationals.
In a segment this week, Carlson called out the EB-5 visa program, whereby wealthy foreign nationals can claim they will invest in the United States at least $900,000 — the previous rate was $500,000 — securing green cards for themselves and their family members in the process.
“Something called an EB-5 permanent resident visa is available to foreign nationals who start businesses here who employ at least 10 people … now, at the moment, most of these EB-5 visas go to Chinese nationals in order to finance real estate projects in our cities — one of the reasons housing costs are so high,” Carlson said.
Carlson continued:
According to congressional investigators, fraud and criminal activity are rampant in the program. Often it’s nothing more than a money-laundering schemeA few people get rich by selling a path to citizenship for Chinese nationals and their children. In fact, the program is so rotten that last year Democrats and Republicans actually came together to reform it, to make it more restrictive. Consider that, Democrats making it harder for foreigners to get citizenship. But they did because the program is that corrupt. [Emphasis added]
Carlson named Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) as the main proponent of greatly increasing the EB-5 visa program, thus rewarding more Chinese nationals, after reports circulated that he was pushing to include the measures in legislation aiding Americans during the coronavirus crisis.
“But Sen. Graham loves it. He’s trying to use the current crisis to roll back reforms to the EB-5 visa program,” Carlson said. “He’d like to increase the number of visas to 75,000 a year. That’s a jump of more than seven times the current number. He’d also like to lower the investment requirement to just $450,000.”
During Sean Hannity’s show, Graham responded to the reports by denying ever pushing to increase the EB-5 visa program in a coronavirus aid bill. At the same time, Graham praised the EB-5 visa program.
“I haven’t talked to anybody on the planet, much less the Trump administration, about putting EB-5 on the coronavirus bill,” Graham said.
Currently, 10,000 foreign nationals and their families are allowed to enter the U.S. every year on the EB-5 visa. The overwhelming majority of EB-5 visas are rewarded to China’s elite — driving a migration of rich Chinese to cities across the country.
In 2018, the U.S. rewarded nearly 8,000 wealthy foreign investors and their family members with green cards. Between 2014 and 2018, the federal government gave EB-5 visas to about 43,130 wealthy foreign investors and their family members, who can secure American citizenship after five years living in the U.S.

Josh Hawley: Legislation ‘Necessary’ to Address Chinese Monopoly of U.S. Drug, Medical Supplies

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) wrote a letter to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Monday, contending that it is “inexcusable” that America relies on China for its medical supply chain. Hawley called hearings and legislation to determine how to address America’s reliance on Chinese for producing vital medicine.
The Missouri conservative wrote a letter to U.S. FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn after reports revealed that the coronavirus has jeopardized the “domestic supply of some 150 prescription drugs, including antibiotics, generics, and branded drugs.”
Hawley said that the time is coming for Congress to have oversight and consider legislation to address the insecurity of America’s medical supply chain.
Hawley wrote to Hahn:
The degree to which some of our own manufacturers rely on China to produce life-saving and life-sustaining medications is inexcusable. It is becoming clear to me that both oversight hearings and additional legislation are necessary to determine the extent of our reliance on Chinese production and protect our medical product supply chain.
Reports have revealed the extent to which China produces and exports the overwhelming majority of pharmaceuticals to the United States. China exports 97 percent of all antibiotics and 80 percent of active ingredients used to make drugs in Americans.
Another report stated that America is losing its ability to make pharmaceuticals because of Chinese dumping of low-price products into the global market.
Rosemary Gibson, the author of China Rx: Exposing the Risks of America’s Dependence on China for Medicine, told Breitbart News Tonight host Rebecca Mansour that America should pursue a federal industrial policy to renew domestic manufacturing of medicines and medical products.
Gibson said:
I would have our federal government invest in helping to rebuild our industrial base using advanced manufacturing technology that can produce our medicines much more cheaply, safely, with less environmental footprint, and fully, from soup to nuts from those core raw materials to finished drug in one location all here in the United States.
There will be opponents who say, ‘No, we should let the market do it.’ The market will never do this. They’ll never make this investment. So we have to decide as a country, do we want to have some degree of self-sufficiency in our ability to make medicine? Do we want our military not to be dependent on China for pharmaceuticals to treat chemical and biological agents?
Gibson added, “We’ll be depending on China to help us out when we run out of medicines. The absurdity of it is extraordinary. We have to decide as a country, do we want to have some capacity to make our own medicines, or not?”

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) introduced the Medical Supply Chain Security Act on Thursday to combat potential American drug shortages created in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak in China and to reveal America’s reliance on Chinese manufacturing of pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
Sen. Hawley said in a statement that the legislation would provide the country with the information necessary to secure the medical supply chain. He explained:
The coronavirus outbreak in China has highlighted severe and longstanding weaknesses in our medical supply chain. This is more than unfortunate; it’s a danger to public health. Our health officials need to know the extent of our reliance on Chinese production so they can take all necessary action to protect Americans. This legislation will give us the information we need to better secure our supply chain and ensure that Americans have uninterrupted access to life-saving drugs and medical devices.
The spread of the coronavirus throughout China has exposed the deep vulnerabilities in the U.S. medical supply chain as well as the country’s dependence upon China producing pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
Axios reported that the coronavirus outbreak has jeopardized the American supply of roughly 150 pharmaceuticals, including antibiotics, generics, and brand-name drugs. Some of these drugs do not have alternatives on the market.
China exports 97 percent of all antibiotics and 80 percent of active ingredients used to make drugs in America. America is losing its ability to make pharmaceuticals because of Chinese dumping of low-price products into the global market.
Public health officials at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) currently have limited resources for assessing supply chain vulnerabilities. The FDA recently asked Congress for more statutory authority to require that manufacturers notify the agency when they discover circumstances that may lead to shortages in essential medical devices. Giving the FDA more authority would allow the agency to ensure that they can take the necessary steps to mitigate potential shortages of life-saving drugs and medical devices.
Hawley’s legislation would:
  • Require that manufacturers report imminent or forecasted shortages of medical devices to the FDA as they currently do for pharmaceutical drugs.
  • Allow the FDA to expedite the review of essential medical devices that require pre-market approval in the event of expected shortages reported by a manufacturer.
  • Grant the FDA additional authority to request additional information from manufacturers of essential drugs or devices regarding their manufacturing capacity, including sourcing of component parts, sourcing of active pharmaceutical ingredients, use of raw materials, and any other details the FDA might find relevant to assess the security of the American medical supply chain.
Hawley’s legislation follows as the Missouri populist wrote a letter this week to FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn, asking Hahn what actions he and the agency can take to ensure that American citizens do not face shortages of life-saving drugs and medical drugs.
The Missouri senator said Tuesday that the coronavirus outbreak has proved that America needs to “stop relying on China for our critical medical supply chains.”

If the #Coronavirus crisis makes anything clear, it’s that we need to stop relying on #China for our critical medical supply chains. I will introduce legislation this week to jump start that effort. Coronavirus Live Updates: Markets Reel as Virus Spreads Across the World

Rosemary Gibson, the author of China Rx: Exposing the Risks of America’s Dependence on China for Medicine, recently told Breitbart News Tonight host Rebecca Mansour that the United States should pursue an industrial policy to renew domestic manufacturing of medicines and medical products in the homeland.
Hawley also said Tuesday that the Donald Trump administration should consider additional travel restrictions to combat the spread of the coronavirus throughout the United States.
“This is a no-brainer. It’s not just China any longer. With the rise of cases in Europe & Asia, we need to take additional steps to protect Americans,” Hawley tweeted.

Time to Hold China Accountable for Unleashing Hell on the World

Communist regime engaged in a massive cover-up -- exposing the world to global pandemic and economic meltdown.

Ari Lieberman
Despite criticism from elements within the elitist establishment media and some radical progressives, President Donald Trump was correct to refer to the COVID-19 virus as a “foreign virus” or “Chinese virus.” Leading the charge of the president’s critics was none other than CNN’s Jim Acosta, who stated that reference to the virus as “foreign” may strike people as “xenophobic.”
In response, Fox’s Tucker Carlson accurately referred to Acosta as a “poisonous moron.” In fact, Carlson was being kind to Acosta, who works for an organization that has long abandoned actual journalism in favor of propaganda.
The Coronavirus, which has thus far killed at least 9,386 and infected 229,960 others, emerged from the city of Wuhan, which is the capital of Hubei province in the People's Republic of China. Chinese authorities were well aware that they had a pandemic on their hands way back in December but maliciously suppressed information about it.  Significantly, The Times of UK, citing a respected and independent Chinese publication, reports that in December Chinese labs identified the pathogen that caused viral pneumonia in patients infected with the coronavirus disease and described the pathogen as highly infectious. A regional health official in Wuhan ordered the compiled samples and related research destroyed. Chinese authorities belatedly acknowledged the highly infectious nature of the disease in late January.
When news of the Wuhan virus began to surface through desperate and often disquieting social media posts, the communist regime of the People’s Republic did what it does best and silenced those responsible for the posts by making them disappear. Needless to say, the regime deactivated their social media accounts as well.
China’s leader Xi Jinping does not handle criticism well. The latest victim of China’s crackdown on information is Ren Zhiqiang, outspoken property tycoon and government critic. After publishing an essay critical of the government’s handling of the outbreak, Ren Zhiqiang disappeared and has not been heard or seen since.
Trump’s national security advisor, Robert O’Brien noted that the calculated Chinese cover-up cost the world two months. Early intervention by virology experts of the CDC could have thwarted an outbreak, or at least minimized it. Affected nations could have stopped flights to and from China earlier, limiting exposure.
In addition to lives lost and disrupted, the Chinese virus has already taken an incalculable toll on the world’s economies. The Stock Market is down by 25 percent. Retirees have watched helplessly as their retirement portfolios dwindle. The unemployment rate in the United States is expected to rise to 6 percent by mid-2021, up from its current 3.5 percent. Businesses are shuttering and bustling metropolitan cities like New York look like ghost towns. It’s almost apocalyptic in scope and scale.
All of this could have been avoided had China been more forthcoming about its Wuhan flu. But there’s more to this story than a mere Chinese cover-up.
There are two theories as to the origin of the Wuhan flu. The first, is that it originated at a Chinese wet market, where live animals like dogs, cats, snakes and Kuala bears are slaughtered in the most filthy and unsanitary conditions. These wet markets are breeding grounds for animal to human virus transmission, and Chinese authorities were well aware of the risks associated with such wet markets.
The second theory is that the virus emerged from a hazardous level 4 bio-weapons facility in Wuhan, located adjacent to the wet market. The virus managed to migrate from the lab, perhaps from an infected bat, to the wet market.
Chinese wet markets are controversial not only because animals in such markets are badly mistreated, but also because they represent a known biohazard to humans. The deadly H7N9 strain, which surfaced in 2013, was believed to have come from one of these Chinese wet markets. The Chinese SARS virus, which surfaced in 2002 also originated from one of these markets.
Yet despite the known hazards posed by these wet markets, Chinese authorities did little, if anything, to shut them down. The Chinese government did eventually shut down the Wuhan wet market but others throughout China, and parts of Asia still operate without regulation or safeguards.
Instead of accepting blame for unleashing hell on the world, the regime has opted to change the narrative, insinuating that the United States was responsible. On March 12, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian wrote on twitter, “When did patient zero begin in US? How many people are infected? What are the names of the hospitals? It might be US army [sic] who brought the epidemic to Wuhan. Be transparent! Make public your data! US owe [sic] us an explanation!” In this regard, the communist government of China is no different that the mullahs of the Islamic Republic, who blamed the coronavirus on America, the Zionists and the Jews.
A government-run Chinese paper also advocated that China halt export of needed medicines to the U.S. to combat COVID-19 in the hope of plunging the U.S. into "the mighty sea of coronavirus.". Over the years, pharmaceutical companies have opted to have their drugs manufactured in China because it’s cheaper. China now maintains a dominant position in the global supply chain for pharmaceuticals.
The West must make China pay dearly for its maleficence. As of December 2019, U.S. debt to China was $1.07 trillion. We can begin the process of just retribution and compensation there. We also have the option of imposing tariffs on China and earmark funds collected from those special tariffs to a selected account aimed at assisting those adversely affected by the Chinese coronavirus. Lastly, the United States must come to the realization that manufacturing jobs must be brought back to America’s shores and America must be restored to the manufacturing giant it once was.
For far too long, Democrats and even some Republicans took a soft approach on China, disregarding its abysmal human rights record, its theft of trade secrets and intellectual property, its unrestricted hacking activities, its illegal encroachment on the South and East China Seas and its attempts to undermine its democratic neighbors like Taiwan. Former Democratic candidate for president, Mike Bloomberg, even went so far as to deny that China was ruled by dictatorship. But the Wuhan virus has brought clarity to China’s malign activities. This is one thing that all Americans, Democrats and Republicans, should agree upon without equivocation.
