STAGGERING CRIME IN DEMOCRAT-CONTROLLED SANCTUARY CITIES ACROSS AMERICA

WHEN KAMALA HARRIS WAS ATTORNEY GENERAL OF MEXIFORNIA, SHE DECLARED THAT NEARLY HALF THE MURDERS IN CA ARE BY MEX GANGS. SHE IS AN ADVOCATE FOR JOE BIDEN'S AMNESTY, WIDER OPEN BORDERS AND INVASION OF CRIMINALS

Sanctuary City Mayor Taxes Americans for Using Bill of Rights

Or as the San Francisco Chronicle headline cheers, "San Jose plans to be first U.S. city requiring firearms owners to pay back taxpayers for gun violence".

The number of legal gun owners responsible for shootings is minimal. Most shootings are carried out by gang members. The number of gang shootings vastly increased because Democrats and their pro-crime lobby insisted on freeing criminals and defunding the police.

If anyone should be paying back taxpayers for gun violence... it's the Democrats who enable it by refusing to lock up shooters.

But San Jose decided to tax Americans for exercising a right protected under the Bill of Rights. Taxing people who use free speech will no doubt be next.

The San Jose City Council voted unanimously Tuesday night to draft an ordinance that would order gun owners in the city to obtain insurance and pay an annual fee to subsidize police responses, ambulances, medical treatment and other municipal expenses related to shootings, injuries and deaths...

“The Second Amendment certainly protects the right of every citizen to own a gun,” Liccardo told reporters. “It does not mandate that taxpayers subsidize that right.”

Taxpayers aren't subsidizing it. They are subsidizing gang violence, homelessness, shoplifting, public drug use, and other blessings that Democrat policies have brought to urban areas.

Taxing people for exercising a constitutional right is a non-starter. This ordinance only exists to be kicked to the curb by the Supreme Court.

But it shows how relentless the Democrat war on the Bill of Rights is.

Mayor Sam Liccardo turned San Jose into a sanctuary city. If he wants taxpayers to be repaid for the carnage, he can start by paying them back for the carnage caused by his support for the illegal migration of criminals into America.

“We welcome any families willing to endure such extraordinary hardships and to take such tremendous risks to be a part of our great country,” Liccardo tweeted, appending the statement with the hashtags #VamosSanJose and #WeAreSanJose.

Bambi Larson was brutally murdered by one of the illegal aliens welcomed by San Jose Democrats.

24-year-old Carlos Arevalo-Carranza is being arraigned in Santa Clara County Superior Court Thursday afternoon for one count of homicide in the brutal murder of San Jose resident, 59-year-old Bambi Larson, inside her home on Knollfield Way exactly two weeks ago.

Ms. Larson suffered "extensive and deep" wounds "consistent with a cutting tool," according to court documents.

Arevalo-Carranza, an illegal alien from El Salvador, was deported by ICE in 2013 but returned to the U.S. He was arrested multiple times in San Jose since 2014 on charges of possession of methamphetamine, false imprisonment, prowling and battery on a police officer.

ICE says it has filed detainer requests seven times with Santa Clara County, but they were ignored due to county policy.

Larson’s murder outraged the community when it came out that Carranza was a convicted felon and undocumented immigrant from El Salvador who had been ordered, detained by federal authorities and had been released from the Santa County Jail twice before Larson’s murder.

What tax should be imposed on San Jose Democrats for Bambi's death? And that of every American robbed, raped, and assaulted by the illegal alien voting base of the Democrats?

WESLACO, Texas — Governor Greg Abbott, sitting alongside former President Donald Trump, told former senior Department of Homeland Security officials, Texas sheriffs, and Members of Congress on Wednesday that Vice President Kamala Harris is misleading America with respect to the ongoing border crisis.

“She’s misleading America.” Abbott declared. The Governor went on to say that the only place to solve the crisis is at the border. Abbott was critical of the Biden Administration’s plan to address poverty and crime in Central America. Abbott went on to say that if Harris is successful in Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador, the nation will still need to address illegal migration from the other 147 countries arriving at the southern border.

In addition to deploying more than 1,000 Texas Highway Patrol Troopers and Army National Guardsmen, Abbott issued state of emergency declaration asking for other states to assist with border-related issues.

Abbott said that many states, including Florida, Nebraska, South Dakota, Iowa, Ohio, Arkansas, and Georgia have already responded by sending law enforcement or National Guard assistance.

“Just know that the people of Texas and people of America,” Abbott said. “Thank you for stepping up and providing your resources to help secure the border, knowing full well that what comes across the border does not stay at the border in fact it goes to your states and other states across the entire country.”

Abbott told President Trump that during Operation Lone Star, Texas law enforcement officers have already arrested nearly 1,800 people for criminal violations of state law.

The governor said this is in addition to: “40,000 apprehensions of people who’ve come across the border illegally, and they have busted 41 stash houses.”

Porous Border Causes 50 Percent Spike in Fentanyl Overdoses, Texas Sheriff Tells Trump

WESLACO, Texas — A North Texas sheriff told former President Donal Trump his county is seeing a 50 percent increase in the number of deaths related to fentanyl being smuggled from Mexico. His comments came during President Trump’s tour of the Rio Grande Valley with Texas Governor Greg Abbott.

“We’re seeing a 50% increase in deadly overdoses this year,” Tarrant County Sheriff Bill E. Waybourn told President Trump. “In fact, in the first quarter of 21, it was three times the amount it was last year with fentanyl overdoses.”

“We know that the cartel, the Mexican drug cartel is responsible for where it’s going and it’s going all over the country,” Waybourn continued. “I’m in Fort Worth, but it’s happening, and I’d be remiss to say, it’s on every sheriff and every chief and every Director of Public Safety’s radar, this business of fentanyl and the deadliness and the thread it is to us as it continues to grow.”

President Trump asked the sheriff if the fentanyl is coming from China. The sheriff responded that the drugs come from China through Mexico and across the porous borders.

The sheriff said the smuggling suspects they have arrested said they are bringing the drugs directly across the Mexican border into the U.S.

“I certainly believe, and I believe the law enforcement in the room, is that the drug cartels in Mexico should be the number one enemy of American law enforcement, plain and simple. And we need to draw a line and protect our children.”

Sheriff Waybourn told a story about a 15-year-0ld who died from a fentanyl overdose last month. He said the cartels package the drugs in pill form to make them appear safe.

“They got a hold of something they thought was safe,” the sheriff told President Trump. “They had no idea what it was. It was pressed in some cartel lab, far away.”

He explained that the increase in fentanyl smuggling across the porous border caused the price of these deadly pills from $50 a gram in January to about $15-$20 a gram now.

“And what we’re experiencing Tarrant County, way beyond the border,” Waybourn stated. “We’re a hub, we know that we’re a hub where we have cartel agents embedded up there that we’re trying to locate and arrest and prosecute, and we’re doing a pretty good job of that in some cases.”

“But we know that as it comes into the county it does have an effect,” he concluded. “And, you know, to that end, the group of people that it’s hitting is the 16 to 24-year-old group because, again, it appears to be a safe drug, they think it’s a pharmaceutical drug because of these pill presses that they’re using.”

Waybourn’s comments came during a briefing to former President Trump in Weslaco, Texas, on Wednesday afternoon. The briefing, attended by Governor Abbott, Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, DPS Director Steve McCraw, and several members of the Texas congressional and legislative delegations, brought the former president to the Rio Grande Valley Sector — the epicenter of the human and drug smuggling border crisis.

WESLACO, Texas — A sheriff in South Texas told former President Donald Trump his county saw a 300 percent increase in the number of migrant deaths this month over last year. The Brooks County Sheriff told the former president that his deputies recovered 16 deceased migrants in June.

“We are 70 miles north of the river and have one of the busiest checkpoints there are in the southwest corridor,” Brooks County Sheriff Benny Martinez told President Trump during a briefing Weslaco, Texas, with Governor Greg Abbott. “In June 2020, we had four body recoveries. In June 2021, we had 16 bodies recovered — a 300 percent increase.”

Brooks County is located about 70 miles north of the Texas border with Mexico. There is a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint located on U.S. Highway 281 — right in the middle of Brooks County. Human smugglers drop off migrants south of the Falfurrias Checkpoint and try to march them around the checkpoint to other smugglers waiting north of the checkpoint.

When migrants cannot keep up, get injured, or suffer heat exhaustion or dehydration, the smugglers simply leave the migrants behind to die, Sheriff Martinez previously told Breitbart Texas.

Over four days, Brooks County deputies worked with Border Patrol agents to recover the bodies of seven bodies, Martinez told the former president.

“Brooks County has seen a 185 percent increase in operations,” the sheriff said regarding interactions with lost migrants and other human smuggling-related activities. He said they experienced a 110 percent increase in “gotaways” in the county and a 250 percent increase in smuggling cases. Finally, he reported a 238 percent increase in sexual assaults of migrants being smuggled.

“That’s another issue that we deal with sexual assault, rape cases that occur within the brush,” Sheriff Martinez said. The sheriff also reported significant property damage to ranches in Brooks County where smugglers cut down fences and destroy property as they move through the area. The damaged fences frequently lead to the release of cattle creating a danger to the public on the roadways in the county.

Martinez also said they are still seeing a lot of migrants that test positive for COVID-19 when apprehended in his county.

“COVID is still out there, very much alive,” Martinez told President Trump. “Okay, so all these getaways, all these other people are coming in that being tested. We don’t know which direction to go in going into the states. it’s going to harm the United States. It’s going to harm our country so we need to be careful.”

So are this year, Brooks County Deputies and Falfurrias Station Border Patrol agents recovered the bodies or skeletal remains of nearly 50 migrants. This compares to 34 deaths for the entire year of 2020.

Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents arrested multiple cartel/gang members, deported sex offenders, and a convicted killer during a four-day period ending on Monday.

Corpus Christi Station Border Patrol agents responded on Friday afternoon to a call for assistance from an Air and Marine Operations agent regarding a detained migrant. The agents arrived and identified the migrant as being illegally present in the United States and placed him under arrest, according to information obtained from Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol officials.

During processing, all migrants undergo a biometric background investigation, officials previously told Breitbart Texas. The criminal background records check revealed the migrant, a Mexican national, has a conviction by a court in Coffee County, Georgia. The court found the Mexican man guilty of statutory rape and sentenced him to 10 years in state prison.

On Saturday morning, McAllen Station agents apprehended a group of migrants who illegally crossed the border near Mission, Texas. Agents identified one of the female migrants, a 30-year-old Salvadoran, as a member of the 18th Street gang.

McAllen Station agents working the border near Havana, Texas, a few hours later apprehended a group of six migrants who had just illegally entered the U.S. During a background investigation, the agents identified one of the migrants as a member of the Gulf Cartel.

Border Patrol agents patrolling the vast ranchlands of Brooks County, Texas, on Saturday encountered a group of five migrants near Falfurrias. The agents identified one of the men, a Salvadoran national, as a member of the 18th Street gang.

Criminal court records indicate the Salvadoran man received a conviction from a New York court in Nassau County for criminal possession of a weapon/intent to use. The court sentenced the man to two years in prison followed by 18 months of supervised release. A Nassau County Police Department officer arrested the gang member a second time for assault 2nd degree. The court convicted the Salvadoran man and sentenced him to two years in prison and 18 months of supervision. ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations officers removed the criminal alien after he completed his sentences.

On Sunday morning, Fort Brown Station agents arrested a group of eight migrants who illegally crossed the border near Brownsville, Texas. A records check revealed a conviction in Texas court following the Mexican national’s arrest by Brownsville Police for sexual assault, a 2nd-degree felony, officials reported. The court sentenced the man to five years of probation before ERO officers removed him from the U.S.

Kenedy County Sheriff’s Office dispatchers received a call Sunday evening from a lost migrant who wanted to surrender in the brush near Kingsville, Texas. Border Patrol agents began a search for the lost migrant and found him a short time later. A records check identified the migrant as a Salvadoran national and confirmed his membership in the hyperviolent MS-13 gang.

McAllen Station agents working the processing center found a Honduran migrant with a conviction in Lake Charles, Louisiana, for negligent homicide. The court sentenced the man to two years in prison before ERO officers removed him from the U.S.
