Former Gov. Chris Christie (R-NY) said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that President Joe Biden capitulated to the progressive in his party on infrastructure.

Christie said, “I had a political science professor who said when your adversary is willing to commit suicide, there’s no reason to commit murder. The result is the same. It’s the death of 2020 Joe Biden. When he went to the Hill, 2020, Joe Biden is now officially dead and buried. The guy who ran against the progressives ran against Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, ran to be a uniter in this country, ran saying he was going to force compromise. And he went up to Capitol Hill, and he capitulated to the progressives, the liberals in his party. And why should we be surprised? He couldn’t stand up to the Taliban. How could we expect him to stand up to AOC?”

As the some other panelists groaned, host Jonathan Karl said, “That’s a partisan take to be sure.”

Christie exclaimed. “No, no, no!” Hold on a second? Did he stand up to the Taliban? Why is that partisan? He hasn’t stood up to anyone except for the people in his own party who nominated him.”

Panelist Donna Brazile said, “Donald Trump was inviting the Taliban to Camp David.”

Joe Biden Bails to Delaware After Agenda Deadlines Stall in Congress

President Joe Biden will travel to his home in Delaware on Saturday, according to the White House, after his agenda stalled in Congress due to Democrat infighting.

The president spent Friday afternoon meeting with Democrats on Capitol Hill to try to advance his $5 trillion spending agenda, but to no avail.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi failed to meet her Thursday deadline to hold a vote in the House to pass the Senate infrastructure deal, as Thursday turned into Friday without a vote being held.

Biden visited House Democrats on Friday afternoon, but he left after an hour of meetings with no certainty that his agenda could get a vote before the weekend.

“Doesn’t matter when. It doesn’t matter whether it’s in six minutes, six days, or six weeks,” Biden said after the meeting. “We’re going to get it done.”

Biden disappointed the far-left Democrats when he admitted during the meeting that his negotiations with Senate moderates had come up short of his $3.5 trillion goal for the domestic spending agenda.

He also offered to take questions during the meeting with Democrats, but reportedly was interrupted by his staff.

Pelosi abandoned her deadlines after it was clear there was no way Democrats could pass a bill without first passing a dramatic domestic spending and entitlement bill.

“While great progress has been made in the negotiations to develop a House, Senate and White House agreement on the Build Back Better Act, more time is needed to complete the task,” she wrote in a letter to her colleagues.

She added that Biden “received a hero’s welcome” on Capitol Hill on Friday afternoon.

It is Week 5 for college football and the chants of “F*ck Joe Biden” continue to ring out in stadiums across America. But it isn’t just college at football games. The chant is showing up all over the place.

Some of the college games where the chant rose include Oklahoma State, North Carolina State, Auburn, and Kentucky.

And more:

The chant also broke out at the end of NASCAR’s Xfinity Series race during a live interview with race winner Brandon Brown. And, remarkably, NBC reporter Kelli Stavast tried to act as if the crowd was chanting “Let’s Go Brandon!”
