THE BIDEN OPEN BORDERS REGIME - ILLEGALS FIRST! - Angel Families: Biden Plan Is $450K for Illegal Aliens, $0 for American Victims

The Democratic Party is a party of Wall Street, the intelligence agencies and the military, resting on privileged sections of the middle class. The role of Sanders, Ocasio-Cortez, et al. is to provide this reactionary political organization with the barest fig leaf of social reform.

Angel Families, whose loved ones were killed by illegal aliens, say that while President Joe Biden weighs providing reparations-style payouts to border crossers, the American victims of open borders receive no compensation for the federal government’s failure to enforce federal immigration law.

Last month, reports circulated that Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) were working to settle with a number of border crossers represented by the ACLU, who claim they have suffered trauma as a result of former President Donald Trump’s “Zero Tolerance” policy that was briefly imposed in 2019.

As part of the settlement, attorneys with the DOJ, DHS, and HHS are considering a plan that would give each border crosser about $450,000 and family units about $1 million. The total cost of the payouts would reach $1 billion.

Angel Families with Advocates for Victims of Illegal Alien Crime (AVIAC) — including Don Rosenberg whose son Drew Rosenberg was killed by an illegal alien in 2010 and Maureen Maloney whose son Matthew Denice was killed in 2011 by an illegal alien — detail in an open letter how Biden plans to reward border crossers while American victims of open borders are ignored.

“Just when you thought Biden had reached the pinnacle of absurdity in welcoming illegal aliens into the country and refusing to deport those who once here violated our laws comes a plan to create millionaires out of over 5,000 illegal alien families,” Rosenberg and Maloney write:

On its face, none of these illegal aliens deserve anything more than a removal back to their country of origin. [Emphasis added]

Paying these families anything compared to the amount paid to our fallen soldiers and victims of 9/11 shows how completely devoid of reality this administration is. But we already knew that. [Emphasis added]

One group conspicuous in its absence is the victims of illegal alien crime. But, unlike these “mothers,” the victims of illegal alien crime weren’t breaking any laws. [Emphasis added]

Rosenberg and Maloney also hit back at the various pro-mass immigration groups representing the border crossers in the case, asking if they have ever considered the pain brought to Angel Families as a result of illegal immigration:

Trina Realmuto, executive director of the National Immigration Litigation Alliance, representing five mothers and their children, said, “No amount of money can compensate for the amount of pain and suffering these parents and children endured under this unconscionable and unprecedented policy.” [Emphasis added]

Lee Gelernt, a lead negotiator on behalf of the families and deputy director of the American Civil Liberties Union’s immigrant rights project, said, “There is no question that the Biden administration is doing the right thing by providing meaningful monetary compensation, given that the U.S. government deliberately brutalized these families, including babies and toddlers. But ultimately, the Biden administration will be judged on whether it provides a pathway for these families to remain in the United States, to allow them to once and for all try to put this trauma behind them.” [Emphasis added]

Well, Trina and Lee, what about the families who have lost a loved one FOREVER because of illegal immigration. What pain and suffering have they endured? Unfortunately, the U.S. Government, often with your organization’s help, has deliberately ignored illegal immigration resulting in tens of millions of crimes being committed against American families, including hundreds of thousands of rapes where often the victims are children and over 100,000 deaths since the last amnesty. [Emphasis added]

In two weeks, it will be eleven years since an illegal alien killed my son. Our vice-president’s son was killed over ten years ago. Our other two Board members lost their brothers twelve and ten years ago. If these payments compensate for the “psychological trauma” these families “suffered” for being separated – often of their own doing – for a few months, what does the government owe the families who have been victimized by illegal aliens, often forever? [Emphasis added]

Not only are Angel Families left to deal with the loss of their loved ones, without any financial help from the federal government, but they often struggle to sue the sanctuary jurisdictions that sometimes aid the illegal alien suspects in a case.

Former President Trump endorsed a plan, initially authored by Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC), called the Justice for Victims of Sanctuary Cities Act that would give Angel Families the right to sue a sanctuary jurisdiction if it had helped shield an illegal alien suspect.

“The United States of America should be a sanctuary for law-abiding Americans — not criminal aliens,” Trump said at his last State of the Union address in 2020.

Tillis has since reintroduced the legislation, alongside Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC), with Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Joni Ernst (R-IA), Ted Cruz (R-TX), Jim Inhofe (R-OK), Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS), Mike Rounds (R-SD), Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV), Marco Rubio (R-FL), Mike Lee (R-UT), Steve Daines (R-MT), Josh Hawley (R-MO), and Mike Braun (R-IN).

Stephen Miller: Democrats’ Bill Funds Migrant’s Child Smuggling

The Democrats’ $4 trillion spending bill uses Americans’ money to fund the cartels’ illegal migration, immigration expert Stephen Miller told Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) in a November 5 conversation.

Miller said the bill — which may be voted through the House on Friday, November 5, allows:

People to get [child] tax credits if they’re here illegally. And that really is so radical. Think about that. You have people today in, say the Northern Triangle — Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala — weighing whether to come into the country illegally. They’re thinking about, “Well, I have to pay a smuggler $6,000 or $7,000: I don’t want to do it.” Now the calculation is “Oh, this is great. If I have four young children and I pay a smuggler $7,000, my first year here I can get $14,000 in tax credits from Uncle Sam! That will pay for the cost of the smuggling, plus we’ll have an extra $7,000 left over.

These should be called “Tax Credits for Smugglers.” This is in the bill. It’s just mind-boggling to me …. [it] defies reason and common sense.

The complex child support payment program that is in the Democrats’ spending plan — the Build Back Better (BBB) bill — seems tailored for illegal migrants, said Steven Camarota, the chief researcher at the Center for Immigration Studies.

For example, he said, the bill offers the child support payments to parents whose children do not have Social Security numbers, and to those who cannot legally show they worked during the year.

The plan likely will deliver $11 billion in payments to poor illegal migrant parents who arrived in 2021 or earlier, and about $5 billion per year afterwards, he said.

The initial payments are $3,600 per child in the first year. The payments will drop to about $2,000 per child, up to age six.

The giveaway also reopens the door to mass fraud by migrants who have already committed immigration crimes, Camarota said in a statement:

In addition to its direct costs, the elimination of a SSN requirement would seem to be an invitation to fraud, as tax filers now simply need to provide a name and date of birth for a child.

A 2011 report showed that illegal immigrants received more than $4 billion in payments from refundable tax credits.  At that time no Social Security Number was required.  Partly in response to a 2011 Inspector General for Tax Administration showing that illegal immigrants made extensive use of tax credits, Congress included provisions in both the 2015 PATH Act and the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act designed to curtail in part illegal immigrant receipt of such programs.  This included the requirement that the qualifying child have a SSN. The BBB effectively undoes those changes permanently.

Fraud may be even worse under the BBB because unlike the old [welfare system], the new program also has no work requirements, which means recipients no longer needed to show any record of employment.

The payments “do defy any sort of reasoning when you look at … preserving this country, and our freedoms and our sovereignty,” Blackburn told Miller.

The bill also supercharges the inflow of chain-migrants into American communities, and rewards the Fortune 500 CEOs who recruit foreign graduates instead of American graduates.

For many years, a wide variety of pollsters have shown deep and broad opposition to labor migration and the inflow of temporary contract workers into jobs sought by young U.S. graduates. This opposition is multiracialcross-sexnon-racistclass-basedbipartisanrationalpersistent, and recognizes the solidarity Americans owe to each other.

Labor migration is deeply unpopular because it damages ordinary Americans’ career opportunities, cuts their wages, and raises their rents. Migration also curbs Americans’ productivity, and widens regional wealth gaps. Migration also  shrinks their Americans political cloutradicalizes their democratic, compromise-promoting civic culture., and give the establishment an emotional excuse from the difficult task of aiding poor, ill0educated and addicted Americans.

Members of a migrant caravan violently assaulted a Mexican federal police officer, beating him as he lay unconscious and then stripped him of his gear. The brutal incident happened as federal forces tried to stop the caravan from leaving Chiapas and moving north.

The clash took place this week along a highway in the southern part of Chiapas where hundreds of Central American migrants were trying to walk north. Mexico’s National Guard used riot gear as they tried to stop the caravan.

In a video, migrants can be seen beating and kicking a lone member of Mexico’s National Guard. The guardsman appears to be unconscious during the assault.

In a second video, the migrants can be seen stripping the guardsman off his uniform and robbing him of his belongings.

Videos shared on social media show the moment when authorities clashed with the migrants in a fierce melee. The migrants can be seen charging at the troops and ultimately forcing them back.

Another video captured the moment when authorities were forced to flee the scene as migrants chase them on foot.

Illegal Alien, Freed into U.S. by Biden After Lying About His Identity, Charged with Murdering Father of Four

An illegal alien charged with murdering a 46-year-old man in Jacksonville, Florida, was released into the United States by President Joe Biden’s administration after lying about his identity.

Yery Noel Medina Ulloa, a 24-year-old illegal alien from Honduras, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the death of Francisco Javier Cuellar, a father of four children. Prosecutors are also seeking a first-degree murder indictment.

On October 6, eyewitnesses called the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office after they saw Ulloa walking down a road covered in blood. When police arrived, they set up a perimeter and quickly found Ulloa before retracing his steps back to a residence.

When police entered the residence, they found Cuellar in the living room, dead.

One witness questioned by police said Ulloa had called him to state that he murdered Cuellar because the man had hit him and later texted the witness to write that he “killed Uncle Francisco,” referring to Cuellar.

Eventually, police recovered surveillance footage in the living room of the residence where they state that Ulloa can be seen repeatedly stabbing Cuellar to death and beating him with a piece of furniture. When police searched the wooded area near the residence, they found a bloody knife.

Ulloa, who turned 24 last week, duped Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) when he showed up at the U.S.-Mexico border months ago, claiming he was an Unaccompanied Alien Child (UAC) named “Reynel Alexander Hernandez,” according to a Univision interview with Ulloa’s mother.

“When he entered [the U.S.] he told me, ‘Mommy, I didn’t go in with my name,'” his mother, Wendy Florencia Ulloa, said, adding that he explained, “‘I went in with the name of another person because right there at the shelter they helped me.'”

After lying to DHS officials, Ulloa was released into the U.S. and given only a Notice to Appear (NTA) in immigration proceedings. Ulloa’s mother said Cuellar was not actually her son’s uncle, nor where they related to him.

“‘I live with him. But don’t worry, he treats me like a son,'” Ulloa reportedly told his mother.

Ulloa moved in with Cuellar, who reportedly gave him a job at La Raza Mexican Store, the family’s business.

Unclear is how Ulloa arrived in Florida.

Last month, a New York Post report detailed how the Biden administration has been flying thousands of border crossers and UACs to various states, including New York, Connecticut, and Florida, in the middle of the night.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki confirmed the overnight flights, justifying them as routine DHS operations as part of its UAC resettlement process.

“In recent weeks, unaccompanied children passed through the Westchester airport … en route to their final destination … It’s no surprise that kids can be seen traveling through states, not just New York … but in other parts of the country as well,” Psaki said.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis slammed Biden’s mass release of border crossers into the U.S. interior, which allegedly resulted in Cuellar’s murder.

“[Ulloa] has been detained, should have never been in this country, to begin with, and definitely should not have been dumped in the state of Florida,” DeSantis told the Post.

“This is not the way you keep people safe, it’s reckless, and it’s wrong,” DeSantis continued. “… I’m going to see what we can do … of course, [I] have a pending lawsuit against the administration challenging their catch and release policies. But this is what happens when you engage in reckless policies.”

Ulloa is currently being held at the Duval County Jail. His next pretrial hearing is on November 30.

Over half a million border crossers and illegal aliens were released into the U.S. interior since January by the Biden administration, data revealed last month. From October 2020 to August 2021, nearly 92,500 UACs, alone, have been resettled across the U.S.

EXCLUSIVE: 50K Migrants Elude Border Patrol in October

LinedUp
Breitbart Texas/Randy Clark
2:09

The number of migrants crossing the border without being apprehended since the start of Fiscal Year 2022 is more than 50,000, according to a U.S. Customs and Border Protection source. This figure represents an estimate of the total number of migrants believed to have escaped into the U.S. interior without apprehension by Border Patrol.

According to the source, more than 400,000 “got-away” migrants were recorded during the last fiscal year which ended on September 30. In Fiscal Year 2020, an estimated 69,000 migrants managed to avoid apprehension by the Border Patrol.

The source says the numbers are not a good sign this early in the fiscal year. In addition to the nearly 160,000 migrants the Border Patrol encountered during the month of October; more than 15,000 were arrested during the first three days of November. The Border Patrol is overwhelmed by the need to process and provide humanitarian care to more than 5,000 migrants per day during a pandemic.

The got-away metric is usually not officially released. The number is determined by counting migrants who ultimately escape apprehension after being observed by surveillance systems. Border Patrol agents also use traditional sign-cutting techniques to spot footprints. It is not a perfect investigative method, however, and sources say the actual got-away count is usually greater.

The reduced number of actual Border Patrol agents available to perform routine duties means there are fewer opportunities to locate and document evidence of escaped migrants. The source says fresh footprints are erased by the elements in short order and traffic flow awareness is impeded when patrols are cancelled.

EAGLE PASS, Texas — In separate events, local Border Patrol Agents and their Brackettville-stationed colleagues apprehended migrants from two counties designated by the Department of Homeland Security as “special interest.” The arrests triggered immediate reporting to DHS headquarters. According to a source within Customs and Border Protection, the incidents occurred on Monday and involved one group of 13 Eritreans and a separate family of three from Uzbekistan.

The source says the first arrests took place in Eagle Pass when agents spotted 13 mostly male Eritrean nationals attempting to evade arrest. The Eritreans were in a residential neighborhood several miles from the Rio Grande.

In an unrelated event, three members of an Uzbek family were arrested by Border Patrol in Brackettville. The Uzbek nationals traveled more than 25 miles inland after crossing near Eagle Pass. The familynconsisted of a mother and two children. According to the source, the Uzbek mother paid smugglers nearly $15,000 to reach the U.S. border.

The Uzbek woman told Border Patrol agents she was a schoolteacher and moved her two children from Uzbekistan to Turkey, Ecuador, Columbia, Panama, and Mexico, eventually reaching the United States.

The U.S. State Department currently lists Uzbekistan and Eritrea as a “Level 4: Do Not Travel” countries.

Eritrea and Uzbekistan are on the Department of Homeland Security’s list of special interest countries. The designation of special interest migrant is related to the travel pattern and conditions within the home country, rather than specific threats.

According to DHS, the designation of special interest migrant is different than the designation of an individual migrant known or suspected of terrorism. The term “Special Interest Migrant” and “Known or Suspected Terrorist” (KST) are not interchangeable.

Study: More than 7-in-10 California Immigrant

Welfare

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2018/12/04/study-more-than-7-in-10-california-immigrant-households-are-on-welfare/

More than 7-in-10 households headed by immigrants in the state of California are on taxpayer-funded welfare, a new study reveals.

The latest Census Bureau data analyzed by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) finds that about 72 percent of households headed by noncitizens and immigrants use one or more forms of taxpayer-funded welfare programs in California — the number one immigrant-receiving state in the U.S.

Meanwhile, only about 35 percent of households headed by native-born Americans use welfare in California.

All four states with the largest foreign-born populations, including California, have extremely high use of welfare by immigrant households. In Texas, for example, nearly 70 percent of households headed by immigrants use taxpayer-funded welfare. Meanwhile, only about 35 percent of native-born households in Texas are on welfare.

In New York and Florida, a majority of households headed by immigrants and noncitizens are on welfare. Overall, about 63 percent of immigrant households use welfare while only 35 percent of native-born households use welfare.

President Trump’s administration is looking to soon implement a policy that protects American taxpayers’ dollars from funding the mass importation of welfare-dependent foreign nationals by enforcing a “public charge” rule whereby legal immigrants would be less likely to secure a permanent residency in the U.S. if they have used any forms of welfare in the past, including using Obamacare, food stamps, and public housing.

The immigration controls would be a boon for American taxpayers in the form of an annual $57.4 billion tax cut — the amount taxpayers spend every year on paying for the welfare, crime, and schooling costs of the country’s mass importation of 1.5 million new, mostly low-skilled legal immigrants.

As Breitbart News reported, the majority of the more than 1.5 million foreign nationals entering the country every year use about 57 percent more food stamps than the average native-born American household. Overall, immigrant households consume 33 percent more cash welfare than American citizen households and 44 percent more in Medicaid dollars. This straining of public services by a booming 44 million foreign-born population translates to the average immigrant household costing American taxpayers $6,234 in federal welfare.

Dem Budget Bill Would Slash Border Protection Budget by Half Billion Dollars

Senate Democrats are moving to slash the budget for Customs and Border Protection by half a billion dollars in the midst of an immigration crisis, putting more strain on an agency with nearly exhausted resources.

The appropriations bill, released Monday by Sen. Chris Murphy (D., Conn.), allocates just $14.5 billion to CBP for the 2022 fiscal year, down from $15 billion the year before and $80 million less than what President Joe Biden requested in his budget. Immigration and Customs Enforcement would receive $7.9 billion, a cut of $40 million from the previous year and $58 million less than what Biden asked for.

Democrats also proposed reduced funding for family detention centers, while pumping more money toward constructing new migrant processing centers along the U.S.-Mexico border. The measure indicates that Democrats don't see the surge ending anytime soon. The new processing centers, they say, will reduce migrant time in custody. The bill forbids Homeland Security Investigations, an arm of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, from enforcing immigration laws. It instead directs the agency to only focus on "the disruption of transnational crime," such as drug trafficking or money laundering.

The proposed cuts come as the southern border faces a decades-high surge of illegal immigrants attempting to enter the United States. Immigration authorities expect to report nearly two million migrant encounters at the border this fiscal year, the first time the number has exceeded one million since 2006.

"It's time for the Department of Homeland Security to make investments in what protects us, not what divides us," Murphy said in a statement. "The ineffective and inhumane border policies and political vanity projects of the Trump Administration didn't make our nation safer, and it's time to turn the page to fund policies that meet the actual threats presented to this nation."

The White House did not respond to a request for comment.

Senate Democrats in a summary of the bill said cuts to detention centers were warranted by "lower overall detention numbers due to the pandemic and related-litigation." Between January and August, however, the number of illegal aliens detained by ICE increased by 70 percent, according to data provided by the agency.

The Senate Democrats' proposal represents another blow to an agency already frustrated by the White House's apparent lack of interest in funding border security and migrant processing measures. A senior DHS official who spoke with the Washington Free Beacon sounded the alarm on the president’s initial budget request to Congress, citing inflation and lack of manpower at CBP as challenges that need to be addressed.

"We were already going to have less money next year under Biden’s plan," the official said. "This is not a party serious about enforcing immigration law."

Border Patrol Nabs Two Illegal Immigrants Previously Deported for Sexually Assaulting Children

 • November 3, 2021 5:11 pm

Two illegal immigrants who were previously deported for sexually assaulting children were arrested within two hours of each other in the Rio Grande Valley on Monday.

Customs and Border Protection disclosed that one of the illegal immigrant sex offenders originally hails from Guatemala and was found with a group of other migrants trying to enter the United States through the southern border near Rio Grande City, Texas. Following his arrest, Border Patrol agents found that he was arrested in 2019 by the Los Angeles Police Department for lewd or lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14. He served 180 days in prison for the crime before his deportation.

Roughly one hour later, according to CBP, officers with the Texas Department of Public Safety asked for assistance from Border Patrol agents in Fort Brown after a suspected illegal immigrant fled from his vehicle during a traffic stop. Following his detainment, Border Patrol officials determined he was a Mexican national who was convicted in 2011 for the sexual assault of a 12-year-old child in Brownsville, Texas. He was sentenced to six years in prison and deported earlier this year.

The news of the arrest of the two illegal aliens comes as President Joe Biden has failed to resolve the crisis at the southern border, which has seen an all-time-high number of illegal immigrants attempting to cross into the country. The White House says it is committed to reforming the nation's immigration laws to be more liberal and welcoming. Since the beginning of his first term in office Biden has attempted to dramatically roll back a number of his predecessor's policies designed to curb illegal immigration, such as eliminating the "Remain in Mexico" policy and creating a number of exemptions to Title 42, a Centers for Disease Control provision that allows the United States to turn away any migrant during a health crisis.

Border Patrol agents saw a total of 1,662,167 encounters with illegal immigrants in the 2021 fiscal year, compared with 405,036 in 2020. According to data provided by CBP, Border Patrol agents encountered 10,763 illegal immigrants with criminal backgrounds in the 2021 fiscal year, up from 2,438 in 2020 and 4,269 in 2019. Border Patrol agents encountered 1,904 illegal immigrants with outstanding warrants in 2021, down from 2,054 in 2020.

Of the illegal immigrants apprehended with a criminal background in the 2021 fiscal year, 488 of them were for sexual offenses. That number is more than three times the amount of illegal immigrants apprehended with sex crime convictions when compared with the previous year.

The Rio Grande Valley Sector has transformed into the center of the immigration crisis under the Biden administration, where thousands of migrants attempt to enter the United States each month. No other sector along the southwest border saw as many illegal immigrants, with one-third of all illegal immigrant encounters taking place there.

Jim Banks Reveals the ‘Mind-Blowingly Corrupt’ Carveouts in $3.5 Trillion Infrastructure Bill

SEAN MORAN

Rep. Jim Banks (R-SC), the chairman of the Republican Study Committee (RSC), detailed many of the most radical aspects of the $3.5 trillion infrastructure bill.

Biden has gambled his legislative majority on passing two infrastructure bills, the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill, or the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, and the $3.5 trillion reconciliation infrastructure bill, otherwise known as the Build Back Better Act.

Democrats hope to pass their mammoth, $3.5 trillion legislation through reconciliation, which allows the Senate to pass legislation with only a simple majority.

Although Democrats have not agreed to the final tenets of the legislation, Americans can see the tentative details of the Democrats’ marquee legislation.

Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN), the chairman of the Republican Study Committee (RSC), released an exhaustive list of some of the most radical aspects of the Democrats’ “socialist takeover bill.”

Banks’ press release hopes to serve as messaging House Republicans can use to rally against Biden’s marquee bill.

The RSC contended in a press release Tuesday that Democrats plans to hide the bill text to prevent Americans from knowing how radical the bill is.

“They’ve played ‘hide the ball’ with the bill text so as not to tip off the public as to what they’re putting in their bills. Then, they bring it to the floor and tout some poll numbers and scare their members into voting for it,” the RSC wrote.

The RSC noted the bill would:

1. Perpetuates labor shortage: Continues welfare benefits without work requirements for able-bodied adults without dependents at a time where there are 10.1 million job openings—more openings than there are people looking for work.

2. Commissions a climate police: Democrats stuffed $8 billion into the bill to commission a cabal of federally funded climate police called the Civilian Climate Corps (CCC) who will conduct progressive activism on taxpayers’ dime (pages 821, and 926).

3. Pushes Green New Deal in our public schools: Requires funding for school construction be used largely on enrollment diversity and Green New Deal agenda items (page 55).

4. Pushes Green New Deal in our universities: Democrats include a $10 billion “environmental justice” higher education slush fund to indoctrinate college students and advance Green New Deal policies (page 1,935).

5. Forces faith-based child care providers out: The bill blocks the ability of many faith-based providers from participating in the childcare system and will lead to many of their closures (page 280).

6. Hurts small and in-home daycares: Requires pre-K staff to have a college degree. (page 303)

7. Includes new incentives for illegal immigration: Illegal immigrants will be eligible to take advantage of Democrats’ new ‘free’ college entitlement (page 92) as well be eligible for additional student aid (page 147) and the enhanced child tax credit (page 1,946).

8. Includes legislative hull for Biden’s vaccine mandate: Increases OSHA penalties on businesses that fail to implement the mandate up to $700,000 per violation and includes $2.6 billion in funding for the Department of Labor to increase enforcement of these penalties (page 168).

9. Gives unions near-total control: The bill includes insane prohibitions that would bind employers’ hands in union disputes and dangerously tilt the balance of power, subjecting employers to penalties that exempt union bosses and officials… among other things this bill would prevent employers from permanently replacing striking workers (page 175). It coerces businesses to meet union boss demands by increasing Fair Labor Standards Act penalties by an astronomical 900% (page 168).

10. Makes unions bigger and more powerful: The bill would subsidize union dues that would only serve to strengthen the influence of union bosses and not American workers (page 2323).

11. Pushes Democrats’ wasteful and confusing school lunch agenda: $643 million for, among other things, “procuring…culturally appropriate foods” (page 333).

12. Furthers radical abortion agenda: Does not include the Hyde amendment and would mandate taxpayers pay for abortions (page 198) & (page 336).

13. Drives up costs on Americans’ utility bills: Issues a punitive methane tax (page 367) and includes a tax on natural gas up to $1,500 per ton that could cost the American economy up to $9.1 billion and cost 90,000 Americans their jobs (page 368).

14. Includes dangerous & deadly green energy mandate: Effectively forces Americans to get 40% of their energy from wind, solar and other unreliable forms of energy within 8 years (page 392). Reliance on these energy sources has proven deadly.

15. Includes kickbacks for the Left’s green energy special interest network: $5 billion for “environmental and climate justice block grants” (page 377) and another $100 billion in green energy special interest subsidies, loans and other carve outs.

16. Gives wealthy Americans tax credits: $222 billion in “green energy” tax credits will be given to those who can afford expensive electric vehicles and other “green” innovative products (page 1832).

17. Furthers Democrats’ social justice agenda: Includes “equity” initiatives throughout the bill and, in one instance, Democrats inserted “equity” language into a title which should have been focusing on the maintenance of the United States’ cyber security efforts (page 897).

18. Grants amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants: House Democrats have included in their reconciliation bill a plan to grant amnesty to around 8 million illegal immigrants at a cost of around $100 billion over ten years that would largely be spent on welfare and other entitlements (page 901). Trillions more would be spent long term on their Social Security and Medicare.

19. Opens border even wider: The bill would waive many grounds for immigration inadmissibility, including infection or lack of vaccination status during a Pandemic, failure to attend removal proceedings in previous immigration cases, and the previous renouncement of American citizenship. DHS may also waive  previous convictions for human trafficking, narcotics violations, and illegal voting (page 903).

20. Increases visa limit: At least 226,000 family-preference visas would be administered each year (page 905).

21. Grants fast-tracked green cards for those seeking middle-class careers in America: Language included in the bill exempts certain aliens from the annual green card statutory limits and has been described as a  “hidden pipeline for U.S. employers to flood more cheap foreign graduates into millions of middle-class careers needed by American graduates” (page 910).

22. Includes pork for Nancy Pelosi: $200 million is earmarked for the Presidio Trust in Speaker Pelosi’s congressional district (page 933).

23. Increases energy dependence on OPEC, Russia and China: The bill prohibits several mineral and energy withdrawals (page 979). It overturns provisions included in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act that authorized energy production in the Arctic that will result in 130,000 Americans losing their jobs and $440 billion in lost federal revenue (page 983) and the mineral withdrawals it prohibits would, ironically, include minerals necessary for renewable energy sources (pages 934940943).

24. Exacerbates the chip shortage: The bill would mandate the conversion of the entire federal vehicle fleet from internal combustion engines to electric engines at a time when there is a global microchip shortage and crippled supply chains (page 1,043).

25. Democrats’ feckless China bill is included: Concepts from the insanely weak Endless Frontier Act included, including $11 billion in research funding that will likely result in American intellectual property going to China (page 1079 – 1081).

26. Chases green energy pipe dreams: $264 million to the EPA to conduct research with left-wing environmental justice groups on how to transition away from fossil fuels (page 1063).

27. Fixes “racist” roads and bridges: Adds a nearly $4 billion slush fund that would help left-wing grassroots organizations that, among other things, want to tear down and rebuild or otherwise alter infrastructure deemed “racist” (page 1183).

28. Punishes red states for failing to adopt Green New Deal provisions: Mandates “consequences” for conservative states that don’t meet the radical Left’s “green” climate standards while at the same time adding nearly $4 billion for “Community Climate Incentive Grants” for cooperating states (page 1179).

29. Includes new massive, bankrupting entitlement: The new paid leave entitlement would mandate workers get 12 weeks of paid leave and would cost $500 billion over ten years according to the CBO (page 1245). It would apply to those making up to half a million dollars a year (page 1254).

30. Advances a totalitarian and paternalistic view of the federal government: Includes grants for organizations to treat individuals suffering from “loneliness” and “social isolation.”

31. Further detaches individuals from employment and more reliant on government handouts: The bill spends $835 billion on welfare through manipulating the tax code [not including the expansions of Obamacare subsidies] (page 1943).

32. Tax benefits for the top 1%: The bill will possibly lift the SALT deduction cap meaning many of the top 1% wealthiest Americans would pay less in taxes.

33. Tax credit for wealthy donors who give to woke universities: The bill creates a new tax credit program that gives tax credits worth 40% of cash contribution that are made to university research programs (page 2094).

34. Expands worst parts of Obamacare: Obamacare’s job-killing employer mandate will become more severe by adjusting the definition of “affordable coverage” to mean coverage that costs no more than 8.5 percent of income rather than current law’s 9.5 percent of income (page 2041).

35. Increases taxes on Americans at every income level: $2 trillion in tax hikes will fall on those making under $400,000 per year, contrary to what the White House says. Individuals at all income levels will be affected (Ways and Means GOP).

36. Lowers wages for working families: The corporate tax rate will increase by 5.5%, meaning American companies will face one of the highest tax burdens in the world. According to analysis, two-thirds of this tax hike will fall on lower- and middle-income taxpayers (page 2110).

37. Penalizes marriage: The bill would permanently double the EITC’s marriage penalty on childless worker benefits (page 2036).

38. Imposes crushing taxes on small business: Guts the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act small business deductions that reduced pass-through entity taxes to keep them comparable to taxes imposed on corporations (page 2235) as well as hammer small businesses that file as individual tax earners with the 39.6% rate (page 2221) and Obamacare’s 3.8% tax on net investment income.

39. Crushes family businesses and farms: The bill would impose a 25% capital gains rate  (page 2226) and makes alterations to the Death Tax including cutting the Death Tax exemption in half (page 2240).

40. Violates Americans’ financial privacy: $80 billion slush fund to hire an 87,000-IRS-agent army to carry out the Biden administration’s plan to review every account above a $600 balance or with more than $600 of transactions in a year. (page 2283).

41. Increases out of pocket costs for those who rely on prescription drugs: The bill repeals the Trump-era Rebate Rule which passes through rebates directly to consumers at the point of sale (page 2465).

42. Imports policies from countries with socialized medicine: The bill includes healthcare policies imported from systems in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and the United Kingdom—all countries that have government-run healthcare systems (page 2349).

The bill also has other lesser-known provisions, including:

· $5 million per year for the Small Business Administration for an entrepreneurial program for formerly incarcerated individuals.

· $2.5 billion for the Department of Justice (DOJ) to award competitive grants or contracts to local governments, community-based organizations, and other groups to support “intervention strategies” to reduce community violence.

“Each of these 42 bullets is enough to vote against the bill. Taken together—it’s mind-blowingly corrupt. We need to loudly oppose it,” Banks charged in the release.

He added, “Democrats are scattered. The Biden agenda is in question. It’s the perfect opportunity to build public sentiment against this bill. The American people need us to be the vanguard against the Left’s radical plans.”

“It’s not an understatement to say this bill, if passed, will fundamentally change our country forever—Americans will wake up in a few years and wonder what happened to their freedom. We can’t let that happen, Banks concluded.

 VISUALIZE REVOLUTION!

THEY WILL NOT GO QUIETLY!

The legislation has been shaped entirely by the class interests of the capitalist ruling elite, which demands both a continued supply of cash from the Treasury and a stepped-up supply of low-wage labor in the midst of the pandemic. In the course of these “negotiations,” measures that provide subsidies to businesses or promote the entry of more workers into the labor force have advanced, while measures that cost business money, sustain working people while they are not actively employed, or simply improve their lives, have been killed.

Biden opened the border, flooding our nation with millions of unemployed, unvetted, often terribly sick people who have no knowledge of or respect for our institutions.  Most plan to get the welfare and health care Biden promised.  Nothing stops terrorists and serious criminals, including killers; rapists; pedophiles; and traffickers of women, children, and drugs.  America receives no benefit from opening our border to impoverished, illiterate people from over 120 countries.  To add insult to injury, while Americans are being destroyed over the vaccine mandate, illegal aliens need not be vaccinated.

Biden’s incredible shrinking social “reform” bill

The “framework” for the “Build Back Better” legislation announced by President Biden Thursday morning and presented to the House Democratic caucus signals the collapse of the reformist pretenses of the Democratic administration and the Democratic-controlled Congress. For all the grandiose rhetoric about sweeping social legislation and “the most consequential piece of legislation for working people” since the New Deal (in the words of Bernie Sanders), the Democratic Party leadership has embraced a watered-down plan whose yearly cost ($175 billion) is less than one-quarter of the military budget.

The legislation incorporating the “framework,” a draft budget reconciliation bill, was submitted to the House Rules Committee Thursday and runs to nearly 2,200 pages. Its provisions are complex, and the procedures for its approval are both convoluted and highly precarious. It is entirely possible that the legislative process will lead to a complete political debacle for both the Biden White House and the Democratic Party as a whole, with no significant legislation passed.

But there is a unifying thread to the process of legislative horse-trading with two right-wing Senate Democrats, Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona, and a half-dozen right-wing House Democrats, which shrank the initial social spending bill from $6 trillion at the beginning, to the $3.5 trillion bill put forward by the White House, and now to the $1.75 trillion embraced by Biden Thursday—half his original plan, and barely a quarter of the opening bid by Sanders.

All these figures represent expenditures spread out over 10 years. By comparison, the military budget over the same period would be at least $8 trillion, and projected interest payments on the federal debt could be even higher. Every year, the Federal Reserve is pumping close to $1.5 trillion into the markets—nearly as much as the proposed legislation allocates in ten years.

This rule of thumb explains both what provisions have survived and those which have gone by the wayside. To outline these briefly, based on the descriptions supplied by the White House, the surviving measures include:

· Climate-related spending, for a total of $555 billion. This is the largest single allocation in the much-reduced reconciliation bill, and the lion’s share, $320 billion, is in the form of tax credits to utilities, electric vehicle manufacturers, and companies that build battery-charging stations. Another $110 billion is for direct incentives (subsidies) to producers of “solar, batteries and advanced materials” (of great concern to the Pentagon), as well as “boosting the competitiveness of existing industries, like steel, cement, and aluminum.”

· Universal pre-kindergarten programs for children aged three and four, as well as federally subsidized child care. Despite the glowing rhetoric about expanding the social safety net, the main purpose of this program is to free the mothers of small children to take low-wage jobs.

· Expansion of Medicaid into a dozen states, mainly in the South, all ruled by Republican state governments which refused federal subsidies for expanding Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare). Since most low-wage employers do not offer health care coverage, workers in those states, including Texas and Florida, have a strong disincentive to take jobs that would raise their incomes only marginally, yet make them ineligible for Medicaid.

· Extension of the expanded Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) for around 17 million low-wage workers. This is essentially a wage subsidy for low-wage employers, since it allows workers to survive on extremely low wages with a top-off from the federal government, only available if they stay in their jobs for a minimum number of hours per week. It is not payable to workers who quit their jobs, are laid off or are long-term unemployed.

· Creation of a federally funded home health care program for the elderly and disabled. The class purpose is to return to the work force those who might otherwise have to drop out to take care of elderly parents or disabled relatives. This is of particular importance in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has frightened people away from nursing homes that have become death traps.

Those programs that have been largely or entirely eliminated include:

· Two years of free community college. This would obviously have removed large numbers of workers from the labor force, particularly those working and going to school only part-time, who would be encouraged to enroll in full-time education.

· Paid family and medical leave. This was initially set at 12 weeks, then whittled down to four weeks and then eliminated entirely.

· The child tax credit of $250 a month and $300 a month for children aged six or less. The bill extends the credit for only one year, to avoid its expiration in the midst of the campaign for the 2022 congressional elections. Once promised as a new, permanent benefit that would “cut child poverty in half,” the child credit is now set to terminate December 31, 2022.

· Authorization for Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices using its enormous buying power to bargain with the pharmaceutical companies.

· Expansion of Medicare to provide dental, vision and hearing coverage. One of the “red lines” of Sanders, the proposal has been shrunk to include only hearing coverage, the cheapest of the three. Besides being costly, this coverage was viewed as undesirable competition for insurance companies offering Medicare Advantage plans (a semi-private version of Medicare).

Alongside the tailoring of social spending proposals to meet the class interests of big business, the latest Biden version of the reconciliation package excludes any significant tax rate increases for either corporations or the wealthy, and it does not include even the “billionaires’ tax” proposed by some Senate Democrats this week, after the provision was challenged by several of the billionaires and threatened with protracted litigation on constitutional grounds.

There are a handful of tax provisions thrown in to sustain the pretense of “fairness” and “equity,” such as a minimum corporate income tax, but these will be easily evaded by giant corporations and their well-funded tax and legal departments. Likewise, the surtax on the incomes of millionaires and billionaires is likely to be eliminated because of the adamant opposition of Senator Sinema to any increase in income tax rates.

These spending and tax measures are combined in the “reconciliation” bill, which requires 50 votes in the Senate for passage. The separate “infrastructure” bill has already passed the Senate with bipartisan support, because it is essentially a $1.2 trillion boondoggle for big construction companies and other corporations, such as trucking, shipping, electric utilities and the like.

In the wake of Biden’s meeting with the House Democrats, the “progressives” have embraced the substance of his much-reduced reconciliation bill. While still insisting on the passage of both bills together, they are not arguing for any significant improvements in the reconciliation bill. Medicare expansion, paid family leave, free community college and other measures are off the table.

The whole rotten process exposes not only the nature of the Democratic Party itself. As Biden declared in his remarks Thursday from the White House, after his meeting with the House, “I am a capitalist.” Or to be more precise, he is a paid servant of the capitalists, like every Democratic and Republican politician.

The Democratic Party is a party of Wall Street, the intelligence agencies and the military, resting on privileged sections of the middle class. The role of Sanders, Ocasio-Cortez, et al. is to provide this reactionary political organization with the barest fig leaf of social reform.

Moreover, far from “creating space” for social reform, as the pseudo-left promoters of the Democratic Party claimed, the right-wing politics of the Democrats, to the extent that they are not opposed through the independent political mobilization of the working class on a socialist program, only fuel the growth of the far right.
