‘You Will Know Them by Their Fruits’
Sometimes it takes me a while for the impact of events to sink in. I try to tune out the talking heads with their conventional wisdom, and not rush to judgment. I believe that most Americans and I usually try to give most folks the benefit of the doubt. However, it is increasingly clear we can no longer do that.
With every issue, with every passing day, there is more news (when the news is honestly reported) that shows us exactly who these people are. They have anointed and installed themselves at the top of our government, from the Oval Office to each executive branch and its myriad government bureaucracies. They have established a clear pattern of behavior and are no longer hiding their motives or their intentions. Everything is on full display.
All of which reminds me of a quote from the Bible; the New Testament Gospel of Matthew, chapter 7:
Beware the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits.
Leftists are leftists, whether in America, the Soviet Union, Vietnam, Venezuela, Cuba, or China. They are easily identified. We are increasingly able to discern the truth about who they are, and that hat they intend to rule over us or they will crush us and burn everything down around us. There is no longer any question about it.
Canada’s “Freedom Truckers” have peacefully demonstrated against the oppressive COVID mandates. It is no secret these mandates have had a crushing effect on the economy, the supply chain, and have caused a ripple effect throughout the labor market.
So, what is a leftist dictator and wolf in sheep’s clothing to do? Well, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau refused to be challenged on “the science” and the governance. There was no overture of concern when he invited the truckers to sit down with him and discuss the issue so that he could listen to their demands, or maybe even to make some half-baked, symbolic gestures of goodwill.
Nope. First, Trudeau ran away and hid, citing a positive test for COVID. Then he let everyone who was listening know he’s a leftist, statist dictator. He has continued to slander the movement by calling it “racist” and “fringe.” Trudeau repeatedly threatened to employ the power of the state against the truckers to disperse their demonstrations—something his police finally did on Friday.
Trudeau’s Stalinist-inspired machine has seized the money deposited in the truckers’ GoFundMe account. Canada’s version of state-controlled, propaganda ministers and Pravda media outlets have sung in collective unison to denounce the freedom movement and have made sure there is ne’er a good word uttered in favor of any of the freedoms on which they also depend.
Meanwhile, for those old enough to remember, there are clear parallels between the current uprisings of the people and the Polish Solidarity movement of the 1980s.
Ol’ Go-Along Joe stepped up to the teleprompter and weighed in on the tussle north of the border, encouraging Trudeau to use his “federal powers” to disperse the peaceful demonstrations. Knowing that, would the current occupant of the Oval Office ever do to us what Trudeau is doing to the Canadians? Will he have the courage to do that to American citizens?
Bet on it, because Go-Along Joe has been complicit with the Leftist cabal that installed him, and that steers the actions and policies coming from the White House. He apparently has no problem defying the Constitution or denying the constitutional rights promised to every American citizen.
The conservative news and information consumer must know where to look for updates, but one glaring example of the Biden administration’s statist, Stalinist, views of governance is the denial of due process to those who protested at the Capitol. Biden’s Justice Department has kept those people locked up in a manner that utterly violates the Constitution and oath of office of the President.

She needs to start warming up: “I don’t recall;” “I do not remember.” “That was not in my purview, so I have no direct knowledge…” Better yet, “What difference, at this point, does it make?”

Regularly, with every passing day, we learn more about how the COVID response was not about saving lives but about taking control of everything we do. The cost in shattered lives and dreams is immeasurable. Keep in mind that Dr. Anthony Fauci does not treat patients nor is he an epidemiologist. There have been hundreds of thousands of needless and preventable deaths because of what Dr. Fauci has forced upon us.
Had enough yet? So, what are we to do?
Recognize the evil and refuse to submit. Refuse to be subjugated, refuse to pay “tribute” to those who say they only want what is best for us, because they don’t.

HOW MANY SOCIOPATH LAWYERS DOES IT TAKE?
Two intriguing points about the Durham allegations
There are few people who have followed the Russia collusion hoax as closely as Dan Bongino. That’s why I made sure to listen to his podcast the Monday after the story broke regarding John Durham’s allegations about the Hillary campaign spying on Trump Tower, Trump’s apartment, and the White House. Sure enough, Bongino had a couple of interesting points to make. Also, I’ll share with you my predictions about what’s going to happen on the Hillary side of things.
When I wrote about the Durham motion to investigate potential conflicts of interest between Michael Sussman and his attorney, the law firm of Latham & Watkins, I focused on the core point, which was that Hillary’s campaign, acting through the Perkins Coie law firm, spied on Trump. Bongino, though, had a few more subtle points to make. You can watch his video here, of course, but here are the two main takeaways:
First, I missed something very important in Durham’s motion. Here’s what Durham wrote at paragraph 5: “The Government’s evidence at trial will also establish that among the Internet data Tech Executive-1 and his associates exploited was domain name system (“DNS”) Internet traffic pertaining to....”
What Bongino caught is that Durham wrote “among the Internet data...was domain name system...Internet traffic.” That strongly implies that DNS information, which simply means sites accessed, isn’t the only information involved. It’s possible that Durham can show that there is other Internet data that the Hillary camp exploited, things such as emails or shared documents.
Second, Bongino thinks that the real bombshell in this is that Durham is warning Sussman that Latham & Watkins is a very dangerous law firm to have representing him. The reason is that one of the top Latham & Watkins attorneys is a gal named Kathryn Ruemmler or, as Bongino calls her, “The Fixer.” He points out that Ruemmler has her finger in every single corrupt pie baked during the Obama administration.

Before moving to Latham & Watkins, Ruemmler was Obama’s White House counsel and ran interference for him. But before that, she worked on the Enron case with Andrew Weissman, the man who really ran the Mueller “investigation.”
After leaving the White House, Ruemmler represented George Nader, a convicted pedophile who set up meetings between Trump people and representatives of the United Arab Emirates. He eventually pleaded guilty to having helped the UAE put millions of dollars illegally into Hillary’s 2016 presidential campaign. Ruemmler also represented Susan Rice. Rice was the one, of course, who sent a memo to self on her last day in the White House assuring posterity that, when the Obama administration was spying on people, it was doing everything “by the book.”
Bongino believes that both Obama and, probably, Biden knew about the spying. Ruemmler’s job, as always, will be to keep Obama clean. As a power partner at Latham & Watkins, she can be expected to force the “Sacrifice of Sussman,” if need be.
Here’s are a few more Latham & Watkins tidbits that Bongino didn’t mention. Someone else who’s a partner there is Liz Cheney’s husband. That same linked article points out that Latham & Watkins gets a lot of business from “Chinese entities and countries whose human rights abuses and authoritarian rule have troubled the U.S. for years...” The article details the Chinese companies, along with their connections to the CCP and the corrupt countries the firm represents. Cheney’s husband, if he is only an average partner at Latham & Watkins, brings home $4.5 million annually for his work.
Finally, what about Hillary? This Daily Mail article says that the press is starting to ask her questions about spying on Trump, but she’s not answering. When last we heard from Hillary, she was making noises about running again in 2024, a surprisingly reasonable thing to do considering that no one wants Biden or Kamala or, although he wishes it were otherwise, Pete Buttigieg.
However, with the Durham revelations, my guess is that the Democrats will offer Hillary up as a sacrificial lamb for the party. She’ll be asked to take responsibility with the promise that she’ll get no prison time. Instead, she’ll just retire from the public eye, having taken one for the party and protected both the Sainted Barack Obama and the current White House occupant.
The problem with this theory is that it’s hard to see Hillary going down quietly. There’s a meme circulating that quotes Hillary saying that, if she goes down, she’ll take everyone else down with her. In fact, she never said that but it’s just the kind of thing she’d do.
What I’m reminded of when I look at the potential fight between Hillary and Obama over culpability is the divorce of a power couple I knew. They were very, very rich and, if they’d cut the marital estate in half, each of them would still have been very, very rich. However, by the time of the divorce, they hated each other. Therefore, each was willing to risk having exposed horrible secrets about him or herself if it meant he or she could publicize horrible secrets about the other. You can read about the divorce here.
Incidentally, I see the same possibility that mutually assured destruction will fail in Chris Cuomo’s $60 million suit against CNN (which really means against Jeff Zucker). They should keep silent because each has filthy dirty laundry, but the urge to destroy the other may override self-preservation.
The Silent Coup
Ever since President Trump came down the golden escalators to announce his candidacy for president of the United States, many professional and even casual observers of politics and history have wondered just what was going on in the events that followed.
Many historians and folks who just read the newspaper every morning and watch the news at night felt that something quite different and very odd was occurring.
Where were all the leaks coming from? Why all the Russia Russia Russia talk? What was all this 25th Amendment talk about? Why was there immediate talk of impeachment? What was with the quick firing of Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn by Vice President Mike Pence? Why did the progressive liberal media obviously show that they had a favorite? Why the criminality in the 2020 election? Why the Jan. 6 roundup of citizens who only wanted free and fair elections?
Now it is clear for all to see, the Deep State was running a coup against Donald Trump. A coup against candidate Trump. A coup against President-elect Trump. And a coup against President Trump while in office. The Deep State, including the Fourth Branch of government (the intelligence apparatus), went after Trump from the moment he came down the escalators. Not a military coup that we once thought of from a banana republic. No rifle fire, hand grenades, or mortar launchers. But a soft and silent, yet deadly coup done by people with suits and ties and dresses and skirts in law firms and executive offices.
One must wonder why the Deep State/Fourth Branch went after Trump immediately once he announced. It never made sense. Most early observers thought that Trump would govern as a moderate Republican. Possibly a Nelson Rockefeller-type governance. But the enemies of choice and freedom and democracy went after Trump right away. Maybe it was because Trump was not a part of the club. Not a part of the governmental elite. Maybe it was because they knew they could not control him. Maybe they knew a billionaire could not be bought off and bullied by the military-industrial complex. Maybe they knew Trump would not play the game. Or. Maybe it was because he did put America First. Maybe it was because he did believe in nationalism, borders, and America's sovereignty. Maybe it was because he did not believe in and would not succumb to a One World governance. Maybe, it was because President Trump did not believe the answers to climate change, global warming, health care, wars, starvation, poverty, and Covid all rested in the arms of a One World entity. Maybe, Trump was not going to allow a One World government on his watch. Therefore, the silent coup.
This was not just typical dirty politics. This was very much a coup-d'etat though, and Special Counsel John Durham appears to be uncovering it.
With the bombshell release over the weekend by Durham revealing that the Hillary Clinton campaign contracted out with third parties to not only spy on candidate Trump's emails and computer usage but to hack into and spy on President-elect Trump and then President Trump's computer/email/online usage. A non-government group and non-government people, including the Hillary Clinton campaign, appear to have illegally spied on the president of the United States by breaking into his computer servers. That is a felony. They did this, the Fourth Branch of government knew it, and nobody did anything about this crime. The Deep State, running wild and free, with cover from the Fourth Branch, ran a coup-d'etat against a rightfully elected President Trump during his entire presidency. Some would call this treason; some would call this an insurrection. Most would call this a felony. Admiral Rodgers told President-elect Trump at Trump Towers that he was being spied on by government officials (the Fourth Branch). President-elect Trump immediately moved his team out of Trump Towers. Trump could not call on the intelligence agencies to catch and arrest the criminals and culprits; because Hillary's campaign and the Fourth Branch were the criminals. Durham is trying to figure out how to proceed in this Deep State when the referees are the crooks.
I'm sure that Durham remembers when Sen. Charles Schumer warned Trump, that if you mess with the intelligence agencies, "they will screw you six ways to Sunday." And Durham himself does not want to be "screwed six ways to Sunday."
The Fourth Branch of government is the "surveillance state." The surveillance state is made up of the FBI/DOJ/DHS/NSA/CIA. This new Fourth Branch does not simply believe that they are equal to the other three branches: legislative, judicial, and executive. This new Fourth Branch, made up of the surveillance and spying communities, now believes that they are above the original three branches. They are a "first" among equals. It's truly something that George Orwell has written about -- in 1984 and in Animal Farm. For those who dismiss this as conspiracy theories, the political prisoners in the D.C. gulags from the Jan. 6 riot might have a different point of view. The J-6 political prisoners know firsthand what the Deep State can do now that they are targeting Americans who might have a different political point of view. The Deep State surveillance entities have used and abused the 9/11 terrorist attack. They have used and abused the Patriot Act by turning the guns inward towards American citizens. Now they are using and abusing the American citizens with a different political ideology. Civil libertarians once warned of the dangers of the Patriot Act. Now, the ACLU is deaf-dumb-blind when it comes to the abusive tactics of the Fourth Branch. This is the first time since the Patriot Act was passed that the Fourth Branch turned all of its weight and power, not after a foreign adversary nor terrorists, but after a fellow American citizen and his supporters whose only sin was having a different political ideology.
As Special Counsel Durham is now beginning to show, there were a great many felonies committed during the 2016 election, during the Trump presidency, during the election of 2020, and now after the placement of Biden in office. President Trump said that "In another time, it would have been punishable by death." This is not just vitriol nor hyperbolic language. What would have happened to Americans if they would have spied on FDR during WW II and given this information to the Nazis? What would have happened during the Cuban Missile Crisis if Americans would have spied on JFK and given this information to Castro? What would have happened if Americans would have spied on Ronald Reagan and given this information to Gorbachev? Either death or life in prison would be sure to follow. Well, President Trump was illegally spied on by the Hillary Clinton campaign, and by others; so what should happen to them? This is much worse than Watergate, much worse. Durham is getting in dangerous territory and he knows it.
The great problem with which Durham will have a very difficult time is that the entities that are supposed to be neutral, supposed to be fair referees, and supposed to be demanding innocent standards of truth...are in on the crime, in on the coup. The Justice Department was anything but just when it came to Donald Trump. This silent coup could not have been done without the help of the Deep State and/or Fourth Branch. This felonious attack by Hillary's campaign on Trump/MAGA Nation, and the America First agenda had to have already have been known about by the supposed neutral arbitrators of justice. Yet not only did they do nothing, but some were also accomplices. It appears that Durham will find out that some were accomplices before-during-after the crime. John Durham certainly has his work cut out for him. Durham, if he did not know then, he surely knows now, has a tiger by the tail. He does not know whether it is more dangerous to just hold on or to just let go. I am sure hoping Durham does not commit "suicide" as such things can go.
Senior government officials need to be brought in under oath for questioning. The likes of James Comey, James Clapper, John Brennan, Eric Holder, Christopher Wray, James Baker, Christopher Steele, Susan Rice, and Valerie Jarrett need to testify under oath as to "what did you do and when did you do it." A democratic republic only works when the people trust their government. Right now a great percentage of Americans, just do not trust the government. From truckers to churchgoers to moms at school board meetings, the American people are believing the Deep State government of Biden is out to get them.
Sure looks like Durham is bringing this unfortunate fact to light. There is a Silent Coup.

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, Rep. Mike Waltz (R-FL) blasted the Biden administration, claiming the world now “sees weakness in the White House,” while calling Biden the “worst president for human rights in modern American history” and warning “trend lines” suggest the U.S. may cede its superpower status to China.
Speaking with Breitbart News on Thursday, Republican Rep. Mike Waltz, a Florida native who represents the Sunshine State’s 6th congressional district, weighed in on current issues, offering his unique perspective.
A colonel in the National Guard as well as a former White House and Pentagon policy adviser, Rep. Waltz was the first Green Beret to be elected to Congress.
Biden Administration
Waltz began by blasting the current administration, highlighting human rights abuses taking place on its watch despite the president having promised when taking office to make the issue a centerpiece of his policy.
“I think Biden has been the worst president for human rights in modern American history, and I don’t think that’s an overstatement,” he said.
“If you look at the amount of girls coming over our southern border that are being sold into human trafficking — upwards of 40% according to Doctors Without Borders; if you look at what’s happening to minorities and women in Afghanistan that he just abandoned; if you look at the ongoing genocide in China, and we could keep going around the world – he has done nothing for human rights!” he asserted.
Waltz explained why he is hardly surprised by the results produced by the current administration.
“You have the same team around Biden that was around [former President] Obama and they have the same underlying philosophy, so you’re going to get many of the same results as we had back then,” he said.
He then criticized policies of the Obama administration that the team advising President Biden supported despite the undesirable outcomes of each.
“Back then this team thought the [U.S. Army deserter Bowe] Bergdahl trade was a good idea; thought the Iran deal was a good idea; thought giving everything away to Cuba and Venezuela with nothing in return was a good idea,” he said.
“We can walk around the world not responding to a land invasion in Europe of Crimea and eastern Ukraine, was the ‘right approach,’” he added. “The march across the South China Sea, we can go on and on.”
As a result, he argued, the same outcomes could be expected.
“So you’re going to see that same result now and we are seeing the same results,” he said, adding that, “We’ve gone from the Abraham Accords to literally rocket violence on Israeli cities, Iran is on the threshold of having a nuclear weapon, and Russia [is] amassing on the Ukrainian border again.”
Waltz went on to explain that the administration’s approach is seen as “weakness” among U.S. adversaries.
“They know they can get away with it and it’s all underscored by a philosophy of appeasement and concessions and ‘if we can just get people to the table with diplomacy first, then we can solve problems,’” he said.
“And we all know that our adversaries see that as weakness and will take full advantage of it, and that’s exactly what they’re doing,” he added.
China
Claiming “the world sees weakness in the White House right now,” Waltz warned that “our adversaries are going to run with it and take as much advantage of it as they can” in the next two years.
“I think with China in particular, we are in a very dangerous period between this summer,” he said, “so that will be after the Olympics and after the Communist Party conference, where [Chinese President] Xi [Jinping] will essentially be re-elected for life.”
“After this summer and between Summer ‘22 and November ‘24 when they will see an opportunity to take advantage of this perceived weakness,” he added.
Waltz remarked that he believes the “trend lines” are heading in the direction of a United States ceding its role as a superpower.
“All you have to do is read Xi’s unfiltered speeches — not the watered-down translations they released to the public but the actual translations — where he openly talks about replacing the United States as a superpower,” he said, “and all the trend lines are heading in that direction.”
“Their navy is larger than ours now,” he added. “The average age of their ships is half ours; they’ve launched more into space than the rest of the world combined.”
But what makes China the greatest threat, according to Waltz, is its having “co-opted” so much of American society to achieve its ambitions.
“I think the biggest threat is how they’ve co-opted so many aspects of American society and that’s what makes them unlike any other threat the United States has ever faced and more dangerous and a huge threat that we face,” he said.
Claiming that applies “from Wall Street to Hollywood to the sports industry to our politics,” he lamented how the U.S. is “awash” from Chinese funds.
“We are awash from Chinese money and the number of organizations, from Jamie Dimon at JP Morgan to [Jeff] Bezos at Amazon, that are willing to turn a blind eye for their next quarter balance sheet is really frankly disgusting and disturbing,” he said.
2022 Beijing Olympics
Noting he was the first Congressmember to introduce a resolution calling for a “full boycott” of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics “back in February before it became cool,” Waltz claimed he initially pressed for altering the games’ venue.
“We’ve been pressuring the IOC (International Olympic Committee) and I want to be clear: the preference was for it to move the games,” he said.
“Senator Rick Scott (R-FL), myself, and others had been asking the IOC in letter after letter, engagement after engagement, to move the games when there was still plenty of time,” he added, “but once we were 12 months out it became clear that the IOC was not going to do that so we called for a full boycott.”
Waltz expressed dissatisfaction with other prominent figures for what he deemed hypocrisy on the matter.
“I would ask those conservatives, I would ask the athletes, I would ask the sponsors: did any of you who say, ‘well we shouldn’t introduce politics into athletics’ — number one: that ship has sailed — but number two: did they disagree with the IOC introducing politics when it came to apartheid? Did they think that was a bad move?” he asked.
“Because the IOC banned South Africa for the better part of three decades from any Olympic event happening in South Africa or even their team competing anywhere else,” he added.
Attributing the hypocrisy to money, Waltz highlighted his introducing of measures to limit Olympic sponsors.
“Why was it OK for apartheid but not now with China with an ongoing genocide?” he asked. “The answer, we all know, is how much money everybody is making.”
“So I’ve introduced measures to ban Department of Defense (DoD) aircraft from transporting anybody to the Olympics and banned the Olympic sponsors from selling their goods on military bases,” he added, noting his support for the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act, “which finally, thanks to [Sen.] Marco Rubio’s great work finally passed.”
“Extremism” within the U.S. Military
He also addressed the Biden administration’s preoccupation with targeting the military to purge it of “extremism” as well as a recent Defense Department report detailing efforts to rout out “extremists” and ensure “only the best qualified recruits are selected for services.”
“A lot of it, if you look at the language around it and you look at [Defense] Secretary [Lloyd] Austin’s language around it, they say extremism but then it’s followed very closely by white supremacism,” he said. “And much of this language came out in the wake of January 6 and is feeding into that narrative.”
But, according to Waltz, the data does not confirm that narrative.
“The interesting thing is the actual data doesn’t support their narrative so that’s point one,” he said. “Because the report cited 100 instances of extremism — I haven’t really dug through it to break that down — but I bet you a good number of that 100 were gang-related or Islamic extremism-related and not all white supremacy.”
Regardless, that number, he said, must also be seen in proportion.
“But even just take that 100 number on its face value out of the two and a half million in our military — It’s something like .005 percent,” he said. “Yet this is the number one priority of the Defense Secretary and the administration when it comes to the military, despite all of those other threats.”
Stressing the overall need to root out extremism, Waltz pointed to the unusual prioritization of the issue.
“I want to be clear: we should always root out extremism at every instance,” he said. “Since [Oklahoma City bomber] Timothy McVeigh and [Fort Hood shooter] Nidal Hassan, we’ve had to deal with a number of high-profile cases, and we should always root it out.”
“But the data does not support it being the number one priority of the Defense Department,” he added.
Waltz claimed the fixation on a constant threat of extremism “fits into the broader narrative,” though it isn’t reflective of the reality.
“We had a hearing in the House and I asked the chairman about the growing threat and the rising tide of white supremacy in the military and I asked both the Democratic chairman and every witness where’s the data that supports that narrative,” he said.
“It’s not there,” he added, “but yet they’re pushing this narrative.”
He lamented the decrease in Americans’ confidence in the military.
“What is so disturbing is we’ve seen a significant drop in confidence in the U.S. military amongst the American public, which is probably the last bastion of confidence when it comes to a government institution,” he said.
“According to the Reagan Institute: from 70% [confidence] to below 50%,” he added, “and so this narrative that they’re pushing is incredibly dangerous and I’m going to push back on it until somebody shows me the actual data, but [according to] their own report: .005%.”
Iran
When asked whether he trusted President Biden to fulfill his stated pledge to prevent the Iranian regime from attaining nuclear weapons, Waltz replied he did not.
“I don’t have 100% faith in him backing that up, not with a military option,” he said. “The Biden administration — from [Secretary of State] Tony Blinken to [National Security Adviser] Jake Sullivan to [President] Biden himself — the typical first card they play is taking a military option off the table,” he said.
“They just did it with Russia and Ukraine,” he added, “and so that makes diplomacy that much more difficult when you do that.”
Claiming that such an approach is part of their “underlying philosophy,” Waltz said, “they just don’t seem to understand that you always leave all options on the table, particularly when you’re dealing with autocratic dictatorial regimes.”
“I don’t know how this ends up well at this point,” he added.
Waltz surmised that President Trump, in the event he’d have continued to a second term, would have forced the Iranians to negotiate a far better deal.
“I think if [former President] Trump had had a second term and continued the full maximum pressure campaign, even though there was some leakage with China in terms of oil sales, I do believe the Iranians would have come to the table from a position of weakness and we could have struck a much better deal,” he said.
But with “the same team now around Biden that they dealt with with [former President] Obama,” Waltz claimed the Iranians “see opportunity [and] advantage.”
“We’ve seen that in how they’ve approached the negotiations and all they care about is telling us what we want to hear,” he said. “They’re deceiving the world so that they can get sanctions dropped and those billions will flow right into the regime and right into their terrorist proxies and right Into their nuclear program.”
Waltz also claimed he feared Sullivan, on a recent trip to Israel, “made it clear to the Israelis we won’t provide the military support for them to take a military option, so that they, the Israelis, have no choice.”
“So I think that’s a big question mark sitting out there,” he added. “What happened in those discussions, and what message did the administration convey to our greatest ally in the Middle East?”
International terrorism
Since the start of the Biden administration, Waltz claimed global terrorism “has gotten a big shot in the arm.”
“The message across the Middle East is jihad has won, democracy has lost,” he said, warning that terror groups may be planning further attacks on America.
“I think al-Qaeda fully intends to attack us again,” he warned. “They’re developing the capability to do so.”
“I fully expect the United States to have to go back and deal with that either on the periphery or actually in Afghanistan, and right now, I think we’re seeing an axis of terror developed from Hamas to Iran’s proxies and ISIS in Syria and Iraq to Iran itself to the Taliban caliphate,” he added. “And it’s just not a good situation at all.”
Waltz has been a frequent critic of the Biden administration and its policies.
Last month, Waltz blasted President Biden’s “wrong approach” on Iran, calling a partial Iran nuclear deal weaker than the one struck under the Obama administration.
In September, he accused President Biden and Defense Secretary Austin of “selling this country a fiction” that the U.S. could manage a resurgence of al-Qaeda in Afghanistan “with nothing” there, following the U.S. pullout of troops from there.
